Many have nearly forgotten the troubled past of the terrorist syndicate orginization or the soviet regime it instilled upon our people. Those memories are hidden deep due to the secretness of the soviets injustices done to the nerotikan people and the worlds blind eyes to their torments. Religious persecution, party devotion and nationalist ideals were shoved into the minds of all the people and one man stood on top of it all controlling the iron fist within the soviet republics themselves. Ivan Rostran, commanding general of the soviet secret police, put his name upon every death warrent that was served within the nation. He led the syndicated police out within our own borders to take those deemed unfit to survive in the republics and place them in the many work camps around the nation.

Many were executed without question, no reasons given and bodies left in the streets for those to witness the power of the soviet regime. Ivan himself had personally saw to the execution of many political enemies whose party allegiances were those of the democratic order, Nerotikan liberation, Reformist and others. Even some of those within the soviet party itself were not safe and Rostran was known to always go after them with the hardest pressure killing families and friends of a single person because he or she had not devoted their lifes entirly to the soviet party.

Finally, however, after so many years we come to today. The Council State of Nerotika has grown much since those days, freedom is no longer a dream and the final nail in the soviets coffin will finally go in. Ivan Rostran, age 82, was recently captured within the city of Timashevsk in Krasnodar. The former soviet general had taken to commanding the Krasnodarian rebellion as he had escaped Nerotikan justice years before by running to the chechen states. I opted out of joining the marines, went with the national guard instead and im now going to become and Intelligence Analyst...I just didnt see much good in the marines when the national guard had everything I needed at the moment mainly being education and money plus I can stay right here. So, thats the update on my life...w00t w00t for that

NORFOLK (ILMP) - Earlier this morning, the Imperial Layartebian Navy conducted its final test of the Crow anti-ballistic missile modification. The test, conducted in the North Atlantic Ocean, was met with resounding success. The target missile was destroyed by a single interceptor kill-vehicle and ushers in full operational capability for the navy's advanced anti-ballistic missile tier defense, which uses a modification of the Crow surface-to-air missile for the task.

The Crow surface-to-air missile was introduced in early 2001 following the retirement of the PATRIOT PAC-4 missile. Subsequent modifications of the missile have allowed it to be used on surface vessels in replacement of the Standard SM-4 and SM-6 missiles. When introduced in 2004, the RIM-188E Crow replaced the Standard SM-3 Block IIB missiles, seen in service throughout both the Navy and Defense Forces.

The RIM-188E Crow test was a live-fire exercise conducted against an unnamed intermediate-range ballistic missile that was launched from a sea-based platform. The missile traveled some 2,000 miles before it was intercepted by a missile launched from an Unforgiven class cruiser. Though certified for operational readiness in early 2005, this tests marks the end of the current development program, which aimed to give the Crow the ability to intercept both ICBMs and IRBMs. Further details were not forthcoming.

I am hoping he adds v2.1 or higher soon but it is a good tool that can be used to judge just how much of a military you can support. I would recommend putting in, for population, your capped population and scaling down your overall budget to whatever % of your main population your capped is, or something to that effect, so you can get an accurate portrayal. My military size of 16,500,000 and my capped population of 1,325,000,000 really allow me a very large area of leeway. My country can support such a massive population of military budgetary alone it isn't funny but what fun is that :).

Start an RP to put back your land (the original amount) and if you seem committed then you can claim the rest. I only say this because there have been a lot of claim & runs lately and it's a pain in the butt to do all of these map/claim changes.

You do realize that I never agreed to do such a thing right nor have you presented any URL or even any information about it whatsoever? Do you have a plan, do you have some sort of commitment to it or are you just looking to claim some land and never show up again?

I added the thread to the previous post, well it wouldn't make much sense to claim land that I already own in the NS Universe in another place if I'm not going to RP there again. And my plan is basically to piss you off by making a land bridge and getting some strong allies that you reallllyyyyy don't like :D

So people say but yet they do it. What sort of plan have you given to this? Do you have forces/ORBAT created or are you just shooting from the hip here?

100 Initial Fighters. All based out of the Mogoton mountain, small arms, but they have a cache of higher-grade explosives like C4. Basically I was planning on attack the highways near (since I can't find the names.) San Juan, Honduras, San Diego, Honduras, Las Limas, Honduras, and El Guineo, Honduras. Oh wait, found the names.

After those would come the southern high ways. Really I was hoping to win popular support by killing your troops in ambushes and such, but, since it is your territory, it would be up to you how many supporters I gain.

Okay that's definitely better. You see I don't want to commit to something half-assed. Here's my history though of Nicaragua (not fully developed yet but here's the synopsis). "In 1995, Honduras and Nicaragua fell in a very bloody and fast paced set of wars." So it is entirely possible that there remains some sort of resistance in a way in that particular area. Venezuela is more the hotspot for resistance but after the last bout, that's thoroughly crushed to living hell. There are some things to know though, particularly about the region. The Yucatan area up north in Mexico was a major hotspot for resistance some time ago but again that was crushed pretty hard. My influence on the area is rather strong and the Caribbean Sea is pretty much my backyard but there is a growing amount of piracy in the seas there that is being dealt with by my forces more and more regularly. There's a number of military facilities in Nicaragua from naval and air force to army bases and those are pretty well secure. Mountains are a good region to fight from but I warn you that my forces have extensive mountain training and I have specialized units capable of mountain fighting (i.e. like the 10th Mountain Division IRL but more specialized and larger). I want to let you know all of these capabilities so you can't say I'm either godmodding or wanking. The chances of you getting some sort of successful breakaway are very slim. The best place that you could find anti-Layartebian resistance would be like Mato Grosso or even Amazonas and Roraima, the last two I control. The last two HATE my guts and there has been "Iraq" there since I invaded. Mato Grosso isn't mine but I dealt with that place like Israel-Lebanon in 2006 and came out with a draw. I've also wanted to set Amazonas & Roraima free from my control and you've had a lot a much better chance there. Allies to supply you? Well Pushka, Nero without a doubt are not my allies so they'll give you whatever you need probably so long as its clandestine (I think). IF they want to go outright supply it might risk them being at war with me but you never know. BHR also who knows he was going to go socialist, which would have put him against me. Your call.

Well most of the units aren't top secret organizations although I have to say details of my military stats, though all posted online, for the most part remain not fully disclosed. It's sort of like how difficult it is to find out about China's military because they keep it all hush hush but, overall, a lot of stuff is known although not the full details of such. My SOF and BOF on the other hand basically are VERY classified as are my more advanced weapon systems but just letting you know you would have a lot better chance with Amazonas & Roraima and I do want to give those away to someone who actually has a good RP for them.

The best part of the Phillies' acceptance speech had to have been when Phillies CEO (I think) Jim Montgomery did the honourable thing and congratulate the Tampa Bay Rays for being a worthy opponent. As soon as he said "I'd like to congratulate the Tampa Bay Rays..." the Philly crowd started booing. I laughed and thought, "only in Philadelphia".

Still, the game was kind of short though- two and a half innings isn't a baseball game. Over quickly though, which was nice.

As a side note, I don't know if I am jetlagged or not. I had a red-eye from 23:59 (PDT) and arrived in NYC at 08:05 (EDT) and I slept a few hours on the plane and then a few more here but I'm not necessarily tired or anything but I do feel odd. Hopefully it passes for tonight so I can have funs.

Well I can tell you that his nation wasn't communist when he was here. A long, long, long time ago he was but he hasn't been for some time now. Much of his weaponry was a mix though between eastern and western bloc influences but he combined them both into his own unique mix. He had very advanced tanks though, check out the ST-47 and stuff, very advanced weapon systems.

And time comes for me to figure out how the hell the Canadian education system works, 300 bucks paid for advanced parole to get back into US incase I need to, permanent residence card already in my possession, so Im moving this January. Can anyone here explain to me how the Canadian colleges work? Cause I've tried talking to several directly and non paint me a clear picture. Most importantly since Im a bit short on funds and am going to have to work full time while going to school part-time are there Community Colleges in Canada or equivalent of them? I found the main Ontario college site and asked them the question, they won't reply for a few days and time is of the essence here. If anyone knows please shoot me a TG and there will be cookies for you and your family once I migrate to the mysterious Northern wilderness that is Toronto.

I don't understand what's confusing you...I always thought our schooling system was pretty straightforward.

In any case, there isn't a University or a College that I know that *doesn't* offer their studies part-time. It's just a matter of applying.

Open Sea, Deep Within The Artic Circle

The two modified Sukhoi Su-35BM's were flying North-NorthEast at aproximately Mach 1.15. They were on a scientific experiment over the Artic Ice Cap, along the horizon was the sun, it had risen half an hour before, ending 6 months of summer. They were using highly sophisticated equipment to make a highly detailed map of the ice cap that they would use to track human's impact on global warming. The two aircraft would travel 1000 km NNE then make a turn back toward home. Multiple many of missions would be made like this and by the end of the summer, all off the Nehrlandish Part of the Ice Cap would be mapped.

The aircraft started the turn toward home, when one of the pilots spotted something, "What do you reckon the boys are doing today?" He had spotted small ships on their 12 o'clock, on the horizon. "Reckon we go check it out?" he asked.

"Lets show them what real flyboys are like." The two aircraft dived toward the surface, barely 50 feet from the surface they leveled off. They appeared to skim across the top of the waves. They would fly in between the ships, trying to scare the sailors.

Well E2 Birthday is only 3 days away and Mari and I discussed what to do about two months ago and we decided to open it up to the say of you. I cleaned the list tremendously to make way for fresh land, which will be help for newbies. Usually, in the past, we've asked what people think of the decrees (change, add, remove) and Decree 12 and Decree 13 came out of such a session. So then we will ask again, decrees, change/add/remove, what do you think? We're not going to increase the land limit anymore (or at least not in the forseeable future) so that's out.

Seeing that we have a lack of smaller active nations, which is a very unfortunate thing in nation states. Everyone wants to be the big guy, and then we lose the great story play of small nations. I was thinking at some point we could have some of us RP a situation much like what is going on in Congo now. We could have different factions dueling for power, or land, or something. Maybe a few of us could bring our nations into play in the story. Something different then the over played Iraq like situations, and better quality then the usual land takeover threads which seem to be rushed and low quality. It’s a rough Idea; it may only sound good in my head, I'm not sure, just spit balling.

Thats true, yet the benefit with Rping a country that belongs to no one is that people dont worry about losing their land. Therefor it makes the rp better.

Also Im planning to introduce the most secret unit of the Alaskan government and a rp like this could be a good way to do it. Hint: It ties with a certain island.

It'd be good if we had about 5 - 8 people more who were active and then we could definitely do that sort of thing.

You'd make zero cash from diamond mines, at least on the export market. Myself and USB are well established there- lowest prices, biggest yields. We own it.

Plus, as Trist pointed out, diamond mines are not that profitable in real terms, especially if the companies doing the exploiting are state run entities, which they would need to be to see returns to the Defense Budget to enable you to buy the SSN's in the first place.

Any and everyone else, The CSN Congressional council has gone into deliberations discussing idea's to form a more democratic federal governing body annoucing that the unicameral councilship works for individual territories but not on a federal level, to many flaws within the constitution did not guarantee the individual rights of every citizen within the state. believing these flaws where passed souly because of a single council based governing body and a single chairman/women in charge lead to a change in idea. Additions and new elections to the reformed federal body will be coming soon brought forth along with public joy over the idea that the nerotikan state was finally stable enough to see mistakes within their own governing body and peacfully change them...Full information will be disclosed once i've organized the new federal councilship to a more working order under two new offices of public diplomates (I.E. a Prime minister who will run the several different offices of ministries intended to oragnize and run state-ran needs of the people [More information to come] and a President [Not by that name but of an office as powerful] to organize and oversee the new congressional council's being formed and afterward oversee their activities)

I heard about limb re-growth ages ago- that story was on the news over here about a month ago. Pretty amazing stuff. Although controlling a computer with your mind- not much point unless its military. I tried voice dictation software once, that was fun for about three minutes until I realised it didn't work. We would also like the tax to be removed, taxes cut down on trade and thats not good, more trade going through your country means more money being invested in your economy directly and indirectly. Russian Federation will be glad to land you a hand with funding and military aid if you need it can also be provided. If taxes are lifted everyone makes more money, including us, besides our two nations do share a cultural bond so we care about what happens to you and we would like to see you prosper.

I think the whole Great Eurasian Line cost between 2 and 4 trillion.

The Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Foreign Affairs have officially given the approval to the Layartebian Defense Corporation to export the Ra class patrol corvette. Coming after months of deliberation, both Ministries have worked with experts and project managers to to tailor the Ra for export purposes. Because of the significant technological advances in the Ra class and its use of classified technology, experts and project managers have developed the Flight II model of the Ra class, which is fully available for export.

Domestic production of the Ra is expected to be for 116 hulls, a contract valued at §28,233,319,345.36. These hulls will fully replace existing Leopard Flight II and Vindicator Flight II class patrol corvettes. The Ra will join the Druid, Raef, and Vigiliant classes in the Imperial Layartebian Defense Forces with the first deployments coming to the Caribbean Sea, where piracy has been on a rise in the past two years.

I nearly got cleaned on my bike today!! I was running up to 30mph in a 30 zone and was in the outermost of a 2 lane road. I see this silver Mercedes SUV waiting at a side road and thought, since I was so close to them, there was no way they'd pull out. WRONG! FAIL! Stupid bitches pulled out right in front of me and I nearly do a superman over their hood, thank God for my brakes and slow speed! Scared the hell out of me though, my heart was racing. Works for me, Im planning on starting a new city around this project so I can really start it anywhere along the coast. It'll start out as a city for the workers and than eventually turn into Vegas type deal. Novo-Peterburg is what Im going to call it. Thats fucked up, a couple of months ago I was driving next to this van that had all its backside windows patched up in advertisements. It was driven by a Mexican, the fucker all the sudden tried to move into my lane without seeing me, I had to hit the breaks so he didn't hit me on the side, we were going about 70 mph on a highway. I haven't cussed in Russian that much in a long time, the asshole just pissed me the fuck off.

This along with increased levels of resources would create an EII version of globalization that would force dipolomacy and add a new layer. What EII is missing is third world states in which superpowers battle for loyalty (ie China and the US battling not with weapons but with money over South America, Central Asia, and North Africa).

It would require players to lose some of their glory as they would need to show signs of weakness (ie Hirgy) while also forcing players to take a more interactive role in EII (ie Mariamia). It would also even the playing field taking away the advantage of a pact like TOA (let's be honest that alliance is the number one killer of activity on EII) because the economy would count for more than an over-inflated military.

I like the idea. We could even ask some E20 people for help since that is what they did. OK used to be a part of it, he'll probably know of some people who could help. I'm interested to hear what other people think.

The biggest killer of activity here is RL. People all have lives, often busy. I personally don't know if I have time to change things as dramatically as suggested. Its a decent idea, for sure, but with two large and active RPs going right now I am stretched to my limit on time. The proposal is most definetly something we should look into but Christmas is next month and people will be gone for that so I reckon it would be something to get stuck into in the New Year- maybe start an OOC Thread or something offline so we can talk extensively. I really like the idea about economics and resources- the old Bjornoyan International Stock Exchange was a real help in dealing with that- there was a world-wide economic crash and everything. Those are things we could probably do sooner, the other things would come later.<My 2 cents.

PS: I also reckon I do have weaknesses. Geographical location for one. Unlike some my stuff is split in two large chunks. I have some other problems too, nobody here is perfect or infallible.

A new factbook will be coming out to update all the info about the C.S.N., im having a bit of trouble with the military section as I usually do when I do factbooks so it may take longer then I had hoped. I have written a constitution outlining the new government of the state, The federal council will be redirected and will become the Council of State. I introduce another congressional council, the Senatorial Council, as well as a presidential position known as The Federal Official to oversee the two congress houses. In these changes i've put in a Prime Minister position who will oversee the various public ministries and the state-ran utility buisinesses (electricity, sewage, garbage, internet [Not state-watched, provided...dont get the wronge idea like im blocking websites or anything...the state provides a cheaper internet buisness compared to indepent ones, thats all])

So here's it in short, the rundown of whats new in Nerotikan government.
The Federal Official - Presidential position, Top Foreign Diplomat who presides over the congressional houses.
The Council of State - Presides over Public Legal Affairs
The Senatorial Council - Presides over Federal Legal Affairs
The Prime Minister - "CEO" of Public Ministries and State Companies
