Yes that's right...It's coming and I'm going to host it from May 12 through May 18. Sign ups will be ready soon but remember, it's open to EVERYONE, regardless of how the Empire feels about you. Instructions will be in the thread. Basically the jist is this, you show off your navy, I show off my navy and some new toys, we all party in Layarteb City, the Emperor makes an epic speech of win, fun old time!

I'm not exactly new to Earth II ( I participated for a while as The Knight Templars) but I've been away for a long, long time. I checked the list and the maps a lot, but I wanted to double check to see if I could claim Slovenia and Hungary - I have a pretty good rp in mind, but I would like to know if it's open before I post

I was just wondering, does everyone agree that my territory borders Prazinia's in Brazil, because it is hard to tell, but from looking at other maps, I think it does. Here's a map which proves it, with Prazinia's territory connected to mine just slightly.

Well smoking weed finally bit me in the ass, although I didn't know police had such a passion of hatred against the plant.

The cop that I had constantly complained that the smell was giving her a headach (After I had been in several classes and not a single person had mentioned a thing) and I wasn't caught for a smell, just assosiation with someone who had been caught. Anyway, as this cop complained she carried on about why it's not fair for me to bring the substance into the school when people with prior convictions arn't allowed to live near the school...wait so am I to assume its not fair that I get to the kids in the school first or something?...I wasn't sure where she was going with that arguement. Then she proceeded to explain, at every given oppertunity, every little detail of something you would here from a propaganda video...ooo now arn't those fun tidbits of fear ads. After awhile of this it was obvious I was bored, by now I agreed with whatever she said...just didn't care anymore...and it all ended. But, the way it began would have to be the funniest, I sat in the office with my principal, a great guy that I was laughing with over a joke about how his job is just to sit on his ass and assure the weather will be ok (He was checking the weather and I had mentioned that his job seemed simple enough) and the officer walks in and immediatly assumes I must be laughing cause im high (Which mind you I wasn't very much) and she bursts angrily at me with "You think this is funny?", a stern look on her face.

Now this officer is a black women, now a white women or man for some reason I can talk to even a black dude you can get along with but she really was taking her job to the max, almost military. Then her phone rang with a ring tone that forced me to use every last strength in my body not to burst into laughter, it was an 80's pop tone...not sure of the title. But mind you when she asked if I thought it was funny I shut up quickly and got confused as fuck, now I understand my principal changing his tone to look more professional but she came in so quick she just seemed to shoot me on the spot and I just looked at her and fumbled over the word "What?" which couldn't of looked good.

But, sure its bad and now I have the system to deal with but in all even after being searched I still escaped with my pipe...took my ciggerettes and my lighter for some reason which I just didn't want to bother with, I had more at home and three other lighters as well. I still think though, $100 bucks im fine with for my fine but I have to go to court because it was possesion so that means I have to pretend to fight to pay them 100 bucks plus the complusory 40 court cost even though it would be easier for me to just say, yes im guilty take my money.

Fleet Week 2008 RP.

Right now it's just the sign-up phase but when May 12 hits, it will go full steam! It is not Earth II only.

Hey I can concentrate enough to type up stats for my new weaponry systems. The Zu-21 Anti-Invasionary system, the XM-8 Infantry Combat Weapon (Connected to the Infantry Combat Field System) the AA-21 mobile anti-air system, the Field Combat Sidearm (A specially designed pistol for certain tasks) and several others...just can't seem to gather enough to write for RP's.

Oh and also I was looking to ask Pushka if I could rent three spaces along his coast for CSN naval bases. I have several idea's to build a working nerotikan naval fleet.

I could rent out mercenary ships but then the CSN navy would look like a bunch of rag tag pirates coming to a formal navy gathering. We have blueprint deisgns for navy ships and are prospecting any nation that would allow internationally small CSN ports to be built across the globe.

Also is there any land open in the ocean or touching a major body of water that I could claim to begin production of a navy?

(If I had been able to claim Adygea and Krasnodar I would have built a navy to sail the Medditerranean and oceans after it. >.<)

First, I'm sorry for the long absence, but I'm going to start a thread soon. Is there any anti-religious nation in Earth II controlling a part of Russia or of nearby Slavic countries? It'll be a long journey from there to Mato Grosso, and I intend to RP all of it instead of claiming it for granted.

I'll be keepin my eye on this Knight Templar guy as well...taken my Krasnodar territory, but at least now I can forcefully exact a claim ^.^. Not that im gunna, I would prefer friendly relations.

Also, my nation does basically what OK does but its seen only in major cities and area's that may have a prime locations. Hyrdo cells and natural gas, but I use alot of regular gasoline outside of that.

I use same as Cot- Petrol, Diesel and various 'E' biofuels made with sugarcane, but hydrogen and gas are also quite popular in some regions, gas turbines especially for wheeled mining equipment (there are a lot of mines in the COH). All cars in the COH are actually Flex-Fuel by law, allowing biofuels and/or petrol/diesel to be used in the one tank.

Nuclear/Coal/Wind/Hydro/Geothermal Electricity with most other stuff using standard mineral oil or synthetic oil (either from solar CO conversion or coal) and natural gas from a variety of sources. Along with Wood Spirit for Methanol production

We do have a separation of Church and state, otherwise we have an absolute freedom of religion as long as its within the established moral standings of the society and not a money grabbing scheme (no Scientology allowed). We have primarily Russian Orthodox in mainland Federation aka Pushkan Republic aka Siberia, mostly Catholics in Latin and Southern America, Latin American Autonomous Republic and Southern American Autonomous Republic respectively and primarily Muslims in Near Eastern Autonomous Republic aka Yemen, also Hindus, Budhists and whatever in the South Asian Autonomous Republic aka India.

It is difficult keeping my man Bellic from destroying Liberty City and kicking Russian ass (he's from the Balkans, not Russia), but alas, exams have a way of keeping one away from the distractions. I promise you that I shall return to GTA IV with increased fervor upon completion of the first exam tomorrow!

Anyway, I wanted to answer the question about fuels- considering I have the Athabasca Tar Sands in Alberta, the Ghawar Field in Arabia and the oil fields of Khantia-Masina/Yamaila I'm still firmly stuck in the Stone Age when it comes to fuel. We are researching alternate fuels but are vehemently opposed to ethanol- we'd rather use that land for food.

You don't need land for ethanol...use the sea, convert algae to ethanol...yes it can be done...I did a research project on the matter.

Surely it would save you time, as we could update information such as our capital cities, and time zones ourselves, and it would be a good place to store information, so some kind of E2 timeline/history could develop? They're not too hard to set up as far as I know.

Hey, Knights Templar, you may want to know that I had Israel before you got it. Basically, it was held in an iron grip by the Cottish military in order to prevent violence between the jews and Palestinians, and while there was peace and prosperity, there was also tensions that were violently crushed whenever they erupted into violence. Let me know if you want to know more about its history under Cottish rule.

I feel I have to ask, although the jewish population in Israel would be there it could not be in the extreme to where Palestinians and the jews would be having a fight over the land. Technically, since there was no persecution of jews in a holocaust there would be no reason for a mass migration to their holy lands therefore Israel would still be Palestinian primarily wouldn't it?

Just an observation I guess...not so sure, im not really an expert on Israel or anything but I do know alot of the reason they were given the territory by the UN was because of the mass migration from Europe.

Also the CSN now has a nearly complete constitution. I call it "The Articles of The State." Like a good constitution is lays down how the council government is to run, splits the powers between the territories of the state and the federal congressional council as well as the FCC's chairman/women. blah blah blah, regular constitutional shit then finally the final Article which is called "The Article of Public Law." which is where the federal law lays down its rules which are all in the intrest ONLY in protecting the public and not restricting them. The Articles include a list of 13 unalienable (...not a word I use much) rights, a BoR so to say. I include an example below of the preamble to the Articles

Government itself has taken the idea of protecting and began to restrict the god-given rights of those people it was built to protect, neither god nor human has to right to infringe on others humanly rights. I feel I have to ask, although the jewish population in Israel would be there it could not be in the extreme to where Palestinians and the jews would be having a fight over the land. Technically, since there was no persecution of jews in a holocaust there would be no reason for a mass migration to their holy lands therefore Israel would still be Palestinian primarily wouldn't it?

Here's how I understand the flow of Israel (and, conversely, Jordan) in Earth II:

-Israel began in E2 (at least when it was restarted) under a nation called IDF, who RP'ed as Israel. IDF, to my knowledge, went D12 so Cotland came in and took the land. I believe since then it's been carved and then reunited various times (in fact, I think at one point Knights Templars had Israel) leading to what it is now- in Templar hands after it had been open for newbies.

-I claimed Jordan shortly after E2 restarted but I sold it some time later. My RP's try to stay consistent with RL as much as I can so I RP'ed with Palestinians in Jordan, but I should qualify my statement by saying I didn't do much with Jordan when I had it. I believe Jordan transferred to Cotland (who bought the land from me) and Cotland transferred it to Ottoman Khaif, who owns it now.

Regardless, if Cotland RP'ed dissension between the Palestinians and Jews then it's very safe to say that Israel does, in fact, have that dispute. Besides, the amount of times Israel has been carved up suggests that there's a lot of other "people problems" than might be apparent, because a nation that disjointed for so long isn't going to be "united" very easily (if anyone wants a RL example just take a look at Belgium- the union there was forced and despite the fact it's held for almost 200 years it's still a union that is precarious at best).

That's how I remember it. Any corrections/omissions?

Sounds about right Rome. Add to that the fact that the central Cottish government encouraged the jewish population to move to their "ancestral homeland", naturally under the protection of the Cottish crown, and the large amount of jews that moved there from the Yevrey territory I used to have in Siberia about ten years ago in RP time, and that this sudden addition of another five million jews caused the Palestinian population to be somewhat displaced (again) and thus disgruntled, forcing the central government to maintain a strong military force in the territory in order to maintain civil law and order. Israel is somewhat crowded at the moment. I think I RP'd it having somewhere around seventeen million people when I gave it up for newbies, of which five million were Palestinian.

It must be noted though that the Cottish Army is an equal opportunities discriminator. If a Palestinian rioted, he was cracked down upon. If a jew rioted, he was cracked down upon. No distinction. If they rioted, they were cracked down upon and survivors were trialled to the fullest extent of Cottish law, which have the death penalty for "Illegal Revolt against the Crown." I'm guesstimating that Cotland executed about four hundred thousand people over the forty IC years Israel was under Cottish protection.

So as you can see, there's probably a lot of people down there with some level of dislike towards the Realm. I think that could lead to some interesting RP twists...

Trying to tie any E2 history/nation with any sort of RL history is pretty much going to give you a headache.

After reading some of RTL I have to thank you Lay for inspiring my writting ability. I sat down and wrote quite abit, a new story that hopfully I can keep a passion about. Although I have not completed a chapter I did write a good beginning to it, I don't want to give anything away but I do want to give you guys a little preview.

Iseala himself was glad he had gained some control, he knew now he had loyal councilmembers in those chambers and was going to find how who was behind him and who was against him. But this power seemed to easily obtained, the chairwomen would return the next day and he would be stripped of his position. Of course, that would be only ‘if’ the chairwomen returned. Iseala’s mind was a devilish one. He had, as successor of Darinsky in the Nerotikan Socialist Party, many followers already. Many of which prepared to lay down their lives for their leader. Many of which who hated the Reformist Chairwomen Victoria.

The vice-chairman revealed out of his pocket a small federal cell phone which was encrypted to the highest degree in order to prevent any enemy of the state from tapping into federal conversations. Even the federal government itself was unable to listen in on what was said through these phone’s. He called a pre-dialed number in his phone, two rings and the other side picked up.

”Good evening sir, how have things gone.” The other side spoke, the voice deep and raspy.

”Quite well, your now speaking to the acting chairman for the time being, at least until that useless bitch returns.”

”I catch your drift sir, I believe the chairwomen will run into some trouble trying to return to the chambers. You need not worry Sir all tasks will be completed.”

”Do what you wish, but just get it done. Things are going smoothly at the moment, but make sure its done within the next month. It cannot be right away, questions will be asked if it looks to obvious.”

”Yes sir, I will arrange things. But with her return the constitution might get done before things are finished.”

”Your fears can be set to rest, with her return nothing will be done. I can delay it as much as she does but at least with me it will look like something is being done. You will receive a call once its finished, your next subject will come after that.”

He had a slight smirk on his face, things were indeed going smoothly and he knew if things continued his power would only increase. The chairwomen had no idea that the council had turned against her, and soon she would not need to care as she would have many other worries to think about once the NSP got to her. Iseala was busy in the future, he almost forgot that there was a long road before the future was his.

Iseala left the bathroom and straitened his black tie. He walked toward the chambers and entered them. After taking his seat he continued the council deliberations over the State Articles without the chairwomen.


I'll have a full chapter done and the story up and posted after next week if all goes to plan, of course I have alot of school work (Nealy two weeks without going leaves alot to be done, especially since im about to graduate) so this might go into a mental vault for awhile but I like what I have and I really want to continue it so hopfully I will. Basically, the initial invasion (OPERATION OPEN SEASON) will secure several coastal towns in and around Sassandra before the SeaBees sort out an air-strip whereupon you and Brink will be able to start flying in forces to begin a large offensive aiming for the border between the Ivory Coast and Mali.

You can also have some forces shipped out to South Western Ghana where a large Armored Division and Army troops are going to smash through the border and link up with Ivorian troops trapped East of Aboisso.

Alright Hirgy, I've printed the LOS thread to PDF and I'm going to re-read your parts and see where I can fit these guys in and with what storyline elements to use. My forces are just the small Foreign Legion unit so they aren't really too equipped to do their own against a very numerically superior force that is equipped with "knowledge of the land," so to speak.

News from the CSN.

The state has now officially cut mandatory drafts for military enlistment. The draft is no longer a means of gaining military power, as of current (OOC:Update for the factsheet lay) the military power of the CSN lays at 13,000,000 standing with 3,000,000 in reserve. Currently 520,000 of that strength is fighting in the Chechen state's against the insurgency of the Chechen Rebel's. The remaining, several hundred thousand still to be trained of that total number, are being used to keep tours of duty of air force and police infantry in the chechn states to only 6 month tours. Infantry from the Nerotikan National Corps. are serving 8 month tours in red zone's, the length is determined to give the infantry the right experiance in the zone and enough experiance to prepare newcomers for what to expect.

In other news the Federal Congressional Council annouces its compeletion of the "State Articles Constitution." and is finalizing the process of voting it into power as the highest law, finally establishing the CSN as a written constitutional state.

From Voldagrad, the councilwomen has made several federal donations to bring the private educational industry, primarily college, the ability to give out scholarships to worthy individuals. Miss Victoria has also made it possible for low income families to apply, and in nearly 7 of 10 cases, be accepted for federal pay aide of the amount of $30,000 for college education. The prices of college's have been forcfully cut by several state council's in the past month's, to cut out profit from industries creating college's in order to make money instead of teach at higher levels. Along with the educational craze of the government a federal teacher employment agency has been officially annouced to be created within the month in order to unionize the teachers against unlawful private educational facility practices such as charging teachers for all school supplies while cutting paychecks without prior notice.

Emperor's Fleet Week speech. Address to the Nation!

Just saw an awesome one acts play show at my high school that some of my friends were in.

Best one went like this:

Daryl walks into his office with a shirt covered in coffee because he hit a pot hole in the parking lot, but his chair is gone. He talks to his friend Frank and Frank says don't worry, I just lent it to the janitor so he could stand on it and screw in a light bulb. He talks to the janitor and finds out the janitor accidentally fell off and kicked it into the elevator and then starts yelling at him about how janitors deserve respect.

Daryl goes to the guy in the basement who monitors the surveillance cams, who is completely insane but eventually finds out that it ended up on the boss's floor after a couple people from the office had sex in it. Then the boss's kids took it up and down the elevator and spun it around until one of them threw up massively all over it. The boss became so angry he got a heart attack and his secretary (who is hitting on Daryl while she is explaining this and the girl had a perfect 50-year old secretary voice) wheeled him out to the ambulance on the chair. Then Jasper, the hobo who hangs out by the building claimed it as his own until the police came after him and he hid it in the building.

One of the other women in the building took it and since one of its wheels had become squeaky sent it to the repair woman (guess what, she's also weird). Daryl talks to the repairwoman and finds out she sent it up to the roof to be fixed on the windowwashers lift because all her tools had been taken. The windowashers told him that a pigeon had taken a shit on it. So finally he gets up the roof and finds out from the people there that one of the guys up there had been losing at cards and blamed their chair, so he smashed it around and threw it off the building (making the pot hole).

Daryl returns to his office to find that Frank had told him not to worry because they already had another chair they were going to replace the old one with and had brought it in two minutes after he left...

Technically? Maybe. Financially, logistically and even tactically? No. A competent opponent will have already singled out the principal targets for the strike (aircraft carriers, et cetera) and will have programmed his missiles to attack said targets, ignoring all other targets. Therefore, adding smaller "combatants" will be a waste of time as these ships won't be targeted in the missile strike until after your principal combatants has been sunk, in which case the entire reasoning behind building these expensive and glorified targets is gone. You're better off spending the resources developing point defense weaponry and electronic warfare systems to counter the incoming missiles.

We find it ironic that the CSN wishes to tell us how to distribute and govern our lands. If we return the lands of Spain and Portugal to the Germanic State, your calls for keeping the German's out of Europe won't play into the equation. We are a free people that support many ideals that some find questionable at best. We have learned not to cast stones on politically-motivated moral issues. You asking nations to keep native Germanians out of Europe is as offensive to us as your perceived offense of the Fourth Riech state. 1) France will be surrendered to Germania and in return the people of that country shall not be harmed.

Cause I have, what 4...or is it 5?, nations all threatening to distroy me if I even attempt to stop the Fourth reich from reestablishing itself. If I can't fight, then i'll act humanitarily and support the refugee's that will most likely come from those European states. What point is it to fight if the fight would be over within seconds, plus I have no support of my own. Everyone is against me, theres no other choice.

Once he gets his forces to a level that can officially take over daily operations in both countries my Marines and Paratroopers are moving back to England for a much needed R&R. Besides I may need to rotate them into the Australian Theater soon enough. Opening up two separate battlezones thousands of miles apart would be insane on my part. While not one bit surprised with the recent string of Nerotikan statements, the Realm is saddened to see that even after all these humiliating defeats after countless futile fights against the October Alliance, Nerotika still has not learned. The October Alliance Charter is far more than a "piece of paper", something we'd expect Nerotika to grasp by now. Perhaps there is some credence to the claims from certain scientists that Nerotikan brains are 40 % smaller than those of other races.

However, this does not negate the fact that we are most surprised with the Nerotikan promise for military assistance to anyone opposing the stabilization of the Fourth Reich, given the fact that what remains of the Nerotikan military is what we refrained from crushing less than a year ago. Still, if given sufficient reason to do so by Nerotika, the Realm will not hessistate to completely and utterly destroy any and all Nerotikan warmongering capabilities the next time we are forced to take defensive measures in order to prevent Nerotikan aggression. You are hereby warned that any acts of aggression against the Fourth Reich will be considered by the Realm as an act of war against the entirety of the October Alliance, and the Realm will use any and all means at its disposal as it sees fit to ensure that Nerotika will learn its lesson once and for all.

Mostly AK-variants cheap eastern european knock-offs RPG's, ancient recoiless rifles, improvised IED's and terror tactics are mostly the calling card of the insurgents now. Better weaponry would definitely benefit there cause. Some of the insurgents took weapons from abandoned military complexes and the like but no clear "supplier" of weapons exists. Once the ammo left was/is burnt up in the old NG rifles they won't be able to find anymore as it was a unique round to the Reich. I know Pushka is supplying the rebels in the Ukraine but logisitically its pretty easy for him to do so. I think its an excellent idea to provide arms to the rebels! Smuggling has always been a problem in the Med. Sea anyway and that would definitely add a twist to the equation. I would suggest routes along the Med. coast however. Sneaking anything in from the Channel side would be difficult. My navy doesn't have the range to provide shore patrols along the Med. coast of Spain coming out of Morocco. I only have one Task Force on the Med. coast of Spain you would have to avoid. *hint hint*

A fair point, but I must also point out that in reality economic strength would waver and different countries would be powerful at different times. However, in the NS world, economies are always growing (because there's no "check" in the system) so as long as you're active your country is always strong, even though this wouldn't really be the case.

According to Cottish history books, it was a "glorious liberation" that saw the liberation of millions of former Cottish citizens-turned-slaves "from the brutal yoke of Russian slavery" following the collapse of the Russian Dicatorial Union (I think that was what Pushka called his nation before he left the first time). I.e. Cotland invaded, killed those few Russian soldiers who opposed us, gave our former citizens back their citizenship and rights, put all Pushkan citizens (i.e. people of Pushkan origin) in concentration camps (later freed and extradited to Pushka when Pushka returned along with an apology), and reigned over what was known as the Siberian Realm (Sakha Republic, Madagan, Khabarovsk, Amur and the Jewish oblast) for a long time (over a year in RL time, over a decade in IC time).

The reason why we left was ICly because the majority of the people there wanted more independence and autonomy than the Realm was prepared to offer, and when faced with a choice between a brutal insurgency with untold losses and a peaceful release of the territories, the Cottish government chose the latter. The OOC reason was because I haven't got as much time for NS as I used to, and I won't want to be hogging up so much land when I won't have that much time to be active.

FYI, the territories in Siberia are well developed, with many new and well-maintained cities and towns, airports, highways, ports, et cetera, and a well-developed railroad network that connects just about every settlement and major installation. I used to RP Sakha alone having a population of almost half a billion people, i.e. the bulk of my old population.

I started talking with a Navy Recruiter, had spent a lot of time getting some medical records and such put together for him, and went through Military Processing. Other than that, had some tests ( nothing to do with the Navy ) I had to study for and complete. Oh, and a couple of birthdays :P.

So yea, like I said.. a lot of free time this time around, and I'm sorry for going inactive again.

Dust settled on the sidewalk as the air filled with a hazy fog of brown and gray. It was a strange happening that it was raining at that moment but it wasn't raining water from clouds, it was raining bits of dirt and rock, chunks of concrete mostly the size of pebbles. The hazy fog made it hard to see and breathe, even harder to hear or speak through. The ground still rumbled and the air still shook with some sort of pressure wave that felt like the passing of a subway train. The pebbles and dirt chunks fell down, onto the ground, raining like hail but much more violently and definitely more densely as the hazy brown and gray cloud flowed through the avenues and alleyways, pushing through the air as it volumetrically expanded around corners, walls, parked cars, and obstacles that were in its way. It was warm too, carrying with it heat that was noticeably hotter than the outside air temperature. From above and further away it moved like a pyroclastic flow of a volcano, hugging the ground, expanding around obstacles, pushing fast through the air, swallowing everything it touched.

The Prime Minister was assassinated shortly thereafter and the new party in power demanded that the military withdraw immediately. When they were denied, an immediate insurrection took place against Layartebian forces. The republic was soon seized from its autonomous state and put under complete martial law. For 2 more years, fighting continued between Layartebian forces and Kaliningradian rebels. In 1995, following a tactical and strategic defeat, the Layartebians withdrew from Kaliningrad and granted it independence. The war saw the complete destruction of Kaliningrad City, the capital and largest city, as well as the destruction of most of the country. Some 250,000 were left dead, 125,000 refugees flooded to neighboring lands, and upwards of 400,000 people were wounded. The population of Kaliningrad, at the time of the onset of war, was only 968,000. It remains one of the most humiliating and only defeats the Layartebians faced after 1980. Layartebian casualties numbered only 5,286, a gross difference. Following the withdrawal of the Empire of Layarteb, the Fourth Reich seized Kaliningrad and brutally suppressed rebellious and insurrectionist forces. The invasion followed numerous border violations by Kaliningradian terrorists. In 1998 after the Kaliningradian war was well over, terrorist hijacked a Layartebian airliner in the middle of a Nor'Easter and flew it to Kaliningrad City. A rescue mission was conducted shortly thereafter and all terrorists eliminated. Further terrorist attacks were expected but none came to pass.

Technically he hasn't posted any acceptance of the land offered to him and made no official claims so, hence fourth, nothing to update. Yes we are using the RL timezones to simplify things.

I'm sorry to say that I will finally have to concede that I can no longer participate on NS. Summer work is taking up too much time, and I feel that I've already taken too much time from this RP that it might begin to hurt the whole system of things.

In the meantime, I will be surrendering this account to one of my best friends, who be maintaining the accounts for me. As for the territories under my protection, I release them once more to the general public for distribution as needed; I leave it to Lay et al. to decide how the territories will be redistributed [I sound like a communist now...]
