MT-PMT about 20 years into future tops is how E2 works.

I have yet to see any plans no matter how insane the nation's leader to build floating cities, and I'll bet my life savings we won't see massive floating cities in 20 years.

Ain't gonna happen.

Yeah it would be fine, those things aren't like floating New Yorks or something like that massive walker thing. Just keep in mind the length of time it would take to build such massive items.

Ive played Ace Combat 4 and 5. Fun games but pretty much the same single player missions. Itd be so much better if it was MM

In four missions I've shot down sixteen aircraft. These missions were with the F-22A Raptor and the one ground attack mission, which only netted two bandits, should have been a better effort (i.e. 1 static ground target [nuclear power plant] down) but the bombs wound up only damaging the second half of the reactor whilst annihilating the first.

I was in the process of RPing for them. And if you read carefully, I had control over just about 90% of them. But if you want war...

Why don't you just split it so one of you gets heard island and the other the mcdonald islands. It's not worth risking war over something that big.

Hey Layarteb I just realized that Gibraltar wasn't "officially" listed in my claims list. Could we adjust that to show it as mine. I have had possession of it since the takeover from Kreigorgrad ages ago and have actively maintained a presence on "the rock" for quite some time now.

School's done for me for the moment, and I thought life would loosen up but instead work has called and wants me back ASAP (most likely will start back on Monday) so I will be spending at least 8 hours on week-days at the Boys & Girls Club with limited internet access (censored via myself and school so 'gaming' sites are non-accessible i.e. Nationstates. Might be able to access forsakenoutlaw forums, and there are a healthy group of kids at the camp who would RP but don't know if E2 is their level. They generally do first-person RPs, running a country would be rather complicated except if I found a Kreynoria-ish kid at camp.

This and my best friend dropped by for a suprise visit on Thursday from I.U. (woke me up with a Bud-Light at 9 in the morning... on a dry campus... told him I have to fix his beer tastes, and schedule) and I will be hanging out with him much, actually headed over there now to catch up on lost videogaming time.

If it gets bad I'll go D13 for a while, my friends and especially my kids are very important to me, even more so than my precious Bjornoya.

OOC: Seeing the recent news of Cotland's closing of the Suez Canal I am wondering how the massive Lyarteb forces occupying my country are going to be supplied along with the Ottoman Khaif forces? A break down supplies is actually quite realitic, unless of course they suddenly have sufficient amounts of airports, aviation fuel, airports, and then cargo haulers to transport supplies. For some reason I am thinkign that Layarteb should evacuate my peaceful pieace of desert and concentrate somewhere else...

For the most part they're accurate, there's just this thing with Neuvo Rica's territory. And somtimes it takes a bit for them to be updated after each land exchange.

The Canal may be opened for passage if the nation wishing it to be opened specifically requests it, but I will only seriously consider opening the Canal for very close allies of the Realm, and the rules and specifications of the Protection of the Realm Act are (naturally) still in effect. Hence, he may be allowed passage if he requests it.

@Safehaven: Unfortunately I wouldn't be willing to sell Astrakhan as I have a substantial Oil Drilling operation both on the land and in the Caspian and I also have planes for a gas pipeline in that area. I have already said why it has not been done in real life, and i decided to reduce it in size to one hundred kilometres after i realised i could start getting stability problems from it, but at 100 square kilometres it is structurally sound, although it might suffer if you start hurling bunker busters at it.

I think the Baker Island thing was completed too quickly, but by now it would have been finished anyway, so I suggest you just RP it. I've been enlarging islands as well. I am running projects in the Seychelles, Cape Verde and in the Pacific, and it happens in RL as well, but it takes a while, like my projects.

The attack on TLS though, was strange as I didn't see any ORBAT's and I was wondering how enough ships from Spizania could get in range so quickly as to fire that number of missiles.

Thats about twenty percent of my entire fleet, which is made up of ships that i withdrew from the Australia and the fleets stationed in Spizanian Yemen, Socotra and Oman.

6 years + $20 billion + 25% pre-existing land base = 12.48sq. km.

Both of you argue so much. I've been reading the thread, as you know. Up to about Post 41 everything seems fine and above board to me. However, you said you were using a bomber that flies at 100,000ft? The B-52 flies at just under 50,000 and anything over 80,000 is nearly in Space, it would need to be a very special type of bomber indeed. Judging by the fact that the MOAB's were dropped from 100,000ft Spizanian Radar would have ample time to pick them up, considering they are huge. The stuff about plasma though, just gets confusing. And Spizania says a celing for his 'ultra long SAM' is 37000 which can destroy a plane at 100,000ft? I guess he meant 370,000, which is impossible because I think that's in space, and a conventional missile would burn up in the atmosphere. There was a decent RP until you both started arguing, its really similar to what happend with me and Pantheaa, if you just sort it out on the offsite forums you can get back to the RP with your problems resolved.

Tokyo built a gigantic island off the coast of it's harbor, as well as a huge ass bridge. They also built another one off the West Coast, and one connected to an island south of Kyoto Harbor.

They wern't too expensive, last time I checked, or it wasn't because of the years the project existed. They are possibly a fourth to half the size of Baker island, if not more. They are all 3 massive Mega International Air Ports, especially the one off Tokyo Harbor.

They are doable, hell building another Baker is doable. It'd cost a few billion, if not nearly a trillion. But pending on what it is for, it'd be worth it.

Infact, this business through Saudi Arabia are building miniature Earth's via Islands. They build these islands in the shapes of real life continents, all large enough for a private estate for each. The Eurasian Island is quite large, in private estate terms. An last time I checked, they only cost about 8 Billion to build a 10 Billion to buy if you are looking to have a house there or just live there.

It is all extremely doable, but if they are for your military then I'd highly advise you keep a low profiles or a high profile with thousands of guards and a few dozen patrol ships. Because I am also damn certain you could have these move, although slowly, you could move possibly in a clockwise pattern. It isn't hard since these are on massive flotation devices and they are not connected via rock to the earth's core, so yea it is realistic. It is no where near the future, but making it so they go past like 5 KPH...yea that may be a bit past 2020.

100,000 feet isn't a problem. My B-7 flies up that high and the RL SR-71 could go up to 105,000. The MOAB could be dropped from that height, I imagine, and that would be ample time to pick it up on radar there is just one drawback in that it's one of the few weapons that will work that high. Most RL A2G weapons don't work above 40,000 feet, including guided bombs except for the newest of the new, JDAMs, which can probably be dropped from 80,000 feet if need be. A SAM that can only go up to 37,000 will definitely never get to 100k and 370k is way too high for a SAM, that is space.

I know bomber's can go up above 100,000 ft, I just don't use any as I think 50,000ft is plenty. However, I do use an SR-71 as an Interceptor, just in case someone tries to fly in at that altitude.
And yeah, a MOAB would work if it exploded at height, but the spread of the fuel or the explosive substance at such a height would probably minimise its impact on the ground, and Spiz did actually RP damage from a MOAB exploding high up, fires and a few casualties as I read it.

Nope, max ceiling for the A-12 is 95,000ft and it was a Navy design and it was brought about in the 1960s to stop Soviet's shooting down U-2's, they couldn't catch the A-12, thus they could not shoot it down.
I use an SR-71E Blackbird Interceptor, with a max ceiling of just over 110,000ft and is capable of Mach 3.5, faster than the A-12 and SR-71A.

My BVRAAMs can still catch it though thank god.

Carthage deliberately killed thousands of innocent civilians in NG and Hawdawg, and he nearly provoked MAD, I doubt the RC would look kindly on such things and is probably one reason they are not supporting Carthage.

Huahin: Your bomber performance is suspect. Turbojet engines give terrible, TERRIBLE fuel economy, and 20,000 mi range using them is doubtful, to say the least. Not to mention, there's not enough oxygen at those kinds of altitudes for conventional engines to function properly - the only reason the SR-71 could hit those figures was because of its unique hybrid RAMjet design.

Look at the B-2A, it's a flying wing but its maximum altitude is just half of what your bomber has, because the physical restrictions of the atmosphere prevent it from going any higher. Unless you use SCRAMjet or RAMjet engines, those figures are impossible.

ICly Bjornoya signed the RC treaty with the Merchant Princes of TLS, not the communistic regime or latest Nepalese Empire of TLS which was never recognized as the official government by the Federation.

OOCly I already fought this damned war the way Bjornoya always fights its wars, behind the scenes and away from public view. I did my part, I think its time TLS did his. If he had posted much of anything since his revolution or remained active I would be quick to defend but the pathetic inactivity I will not defend. I've always been the one who said we should get rid of inactive players to make room for active members who will bolster the reputation of E2, and I still do.

Big point, if we intervened now it would lead to a large world-war that would leave many nations in ruins (everyone would lose). If we intervened before it would most likely have been between the RC and OK and Doom.
