Thank you Squornshelous and Hawgdawg, I'll keep that in mind in the future (if I'd still be allowed), you may travel over North Dakota whenever you please, pending you provide us with a heads-up before hand. I'm fairly certain I can get there through NG and Layarteb's airspace (although I didn't check the map) but if I didn't then I can change it running through you and Hawgdawg's airspace.

I just wanted to post that I am buying the southern two Indian States/provinces (Kerala and Tamil Nadu) for 300 billion (most of my budget, but still fine on NS economy), he should post soon to confirm.
Also he is keeping the districts of Nagapattinam, Thruvarar, and Thangavur.

Buddy I think you need a math lesson. At your population you can claim up to 2 million square miles. Nevada is 110,566.9 square miles. Last time I checked 110,000 was a lot less than 2 million. But then again why should I be good in math?

Because this is Earth II, you could do anything you want....Antarctica can be a f'ing tropic now.

Also keep in mind when Anagonia nuked part of Antarctica several times, it must be by now either partly melted or turned into a tropic.

And Anatartica is just a nice place to store military weaponry, bases...etc...do some secret stuff there.

Please do not take what I've done as something against you- I'm only trying to be constructive and make sure that everyone can enjoy their history-writing process.

Naturally we'll need a giant hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico. I gotta ask everyone down there first but I'm hoping it isn't a problem.

My only problem with that is that it'd be physically impossible. Hurrcianes develop when the Atlantic waters are incredibly warm, so blizzard-like conditions would mean the weather would be too cold for hurricanes.

What you could do is have these storms be so strong that even down in Key West it's below freezing during the day. Or massive amounts of tornadoes. Whatever works.

Not entirely true. The movie The Perfect Storm was based on RL events, that's what this is. I remember that Nor'Easter when I was a kid. You had Hurricane Andrew down in the Gulf, the giant Nor'Easter off the NE USA and a cold front from Canada. The Nor'Easter was essentially a product of both Andrew and the cold front.

Not entirely true. The movie The Perfect Storm was based on RL events, that's what this is. I remember that Nor'Easter when I was a kid. You had Hurricane Andrew down in the Gulf, the giant Nor'Easter off the NE USA and a cold front from Canada. The Nor'Easter was essentially a product of both Andrew and the cold front.

A Category 5 hurricane in the Gulf? It'd affect everything around there with flooding, winds, rain, etc. Especially if it was the size of Francis, was it the last one that was the size of Texas, yeah Francis I think. Cat 5, that size, would devestate the region. Wherever it made landfall would be erased.

The last one was Ivan...it was actually so huge that when the eye made landfall, the northermost section of the Hurricane's clouds passed well over Toronto.

However, I ask since if you're trying to recreate Andrew, it did most of its damage in Florida, leaving Louisiana relatively unscathed. It was also Category 3 once it did reach Louisiana (well, at least once it hit the same longitude as the New Orleans region). I'm no hurricane expert, but if you want a maxium-damage, Category 5 Hurricane you may also need an intense El Nino to do it. I also suggest that the path of this hurricane go directly over Miami instead of going directly underneath it like Andrew did.

Andrew reached 164 mph though one private home registered 177 mph. I'd say we make this super hurricane 180 at peak, 165 at landfall. That would surely kick up the super cell system up by me in the NE of a Nor'Easter some 1,000 miles in diameter that just hangs there for a week.
