Yeah, I saw it about a year ago I think...no more then a year about a year and a half ago, its not bad, I liked the first one called Nightwatch as well...where is supposedly a third one but there have been rumors that Fox bought the rights and is gonna have it in english which kinda sucks, well those are the rumors the second movie didn't really leave much of a cliff hanger and I haven't read the books they are based on so I have no idea how they can pull a third one out.

Yea That is a wonderful product, though weird. They have hundreds more flavors then they sell normally. For instance the Strawberry Kiwi they sell like hotcakes but the Lemon Lime [i think that's what is it called] you have to go to a special store like thrity minutes away.

If my fleet hadnt been so far away i would have engaged and destroyed you in a good old gun battle, but after the whole nuclear EMP strike I started retalitating with tacnukes, so that never materialised, well, maybe next time

Since Fleet Week, Layarteb City '07 is now upon us, I thought I would just take a few minutes to clarify the various types of camo used by the COH Military as I reckon my descriptions have been either non-existent or ambiguous.

Standard Issue Uniform (Army, Marines etc): 'MULTICAM'

MULTICAM is the SIU of the COH Military, and all troops on home bases wear this type of camouflage. It is best suited to leafy, woodland environments but it is the SIU because it can blend in to almost any sort of environment, thus the concealment value remains high nearly anywhere apart from pure snow-white environments. This enables rapidly deployed troops to have a higher degree of concealment with their SIU's if they should be deployed without theatre-specific camouflage.

Desert DIGIPAT (Army, Marines etc): 'Digital/Disruptive Pattern Camouflage'

The SNWU is primarily an overhaul of the Navy (and Coast Guard) working uniform. Previously it had been blue trousers shirts for the non-enlisted and light brown trousers and shirts for the Officers. Unfortunately the uniforms were antiquated and fairly impractical aboard a warship and those the SNWU took a lesson from the jacket and trousers style of the other branches of service and has now developed a much more modern and practical uniform.

Air Force Service Uniform (Air Force): 'AFSU'

He's been a really elusive character in my RPs but he's so central to RTL that the Emperor is underneath him in his role as "prominence" to the storyline.

The LBE(load bearing equipment) in the 3rd pic is awesome. It's so the ammo pouches are in front of you instead of at your side. I see cadets wear those kind at ROTC. Its so much better then the Viatnem era LBE that i wore. The one i wore only had two pouches, two canteen holders with a canteen cup...it sucked

Thats been standard configuration for Russian army since WWII, its good because its easier to reach the magazine plus it provides extra protection from enemy bullets.

You may also remove me from D13, i'll begin posting on my thread here soon.

OSLO (CTB): After a long time of secret, top-level negotiations and in a recent public vote, the Realm of Cotland has decided to ceede the territories of Egypt and Jordan to the United Federation of Eurasia with certain stipulations which has yet to be made public.

The news of the handover, which is expected to be made within the end of the year, was met with celebrations in the streets of Cairo, Alexandria, Amman, al Jafr and other cities in the two territories, as the ~132,000,000 ethnic Arabs currently residing in the territories celebrated their democracy in practice. There has recently been several cases of public disturbances in the region as ethnic Arabs has demonstrated against the Government and the policies of His Majesty's Government in Egypt and Jordan.

Prime Minister Rothsky said in the press conference where the Government made the announcement that "the will of the people must be respected." The Prime Minister declined further comments, saying only that all the information needed could be found in the official press release that was made public on the Government's websites shortly after the press conference.

It is expected that Israel, which is a predominantly ethnic Cottish population, will remain affiliated with the Realm of Cotland.

The United Federation of Eurasia has yet to make an official comment on the news.

In every grocery store parking lot in Texas a "tobacco shack" stands waiting for folks to stop in and buy. The problem with tobacco is our state government just decided to increase the tax on cig's by a buck so many folks are going to Louisiana and Oklahoma to buy smokes and bringing them back. Snuff (cogenhagen, skoal, grizzly, hawken, wolf) is on the rise too, a single can of copenhagen costs around $4.50 plus tax. This is why the cheap brands have become so popular. You can buy two cans of wolf for what one can of copenhagen sells for. However the trade off is the cheaper stuff isn't as stout as copenhagen or skoal.

I haven't ever heard of Revel, but it sounds a whole lot like beechnut chew, ole mule, levi garrett, wulf, or something along those lines. Chew is exactly like you stated long shreds of tobacco leafs that you chew on and suck to get your fix. I bet the tobacco shack would have it.

Fortunately for me I only dipped snuff for a little bit, then promptly quit it. I couldn't see myself spending $2/can (it was cheap once) for something that wouldn't last very long. I also learned dipping the cheap stuff allows for a person to get off of it easier than the hardcore skoal copenhagen dippers. I will take a slug every once in a while, but not too often. Tell you uncle to try the new copenhagen bourbon, its REALLY good.

BTW, what's the deal he can't get any in Ireland? LOL did you read the story that Arnold S. got in trouble over supposedly smoking a "cuban" while in Canada? Apparently it is against the law for a US citizen to smoke a cuban cigar, even outside of the US. I had to laugh at this, everyday thousands pour across our border and customs was hacked off that Arnold smoked a cuban. They really need someone with a set to take over that agency along with homeland security. I imagine I could fix the problems, but folks wouldn't be happy (especially mexico) when I enacted some things that would curb the influx.

A pack of 20 cigs here sells for about $10-$15. Its a rip off, complete and total tax rapery. I used to smoke from when I was like 13-17, and it cost me a fortune, I would just buy 10 packs, but even they are like $7 a go. Nasty old habit, glad I stopped. It kinda makes me queasy now when someone is smoking close to me.

And Haw, you can get 'chewing' tobacco in Ireland, but it is extra strong plug and twist stuff made for pipe's, not chewing. So chew tobacco has fairly died out, you can't get snus, snuff, dip or anything here really, unless you find a real good tobacco shop and I know most of those in Belfast and Dublin (I like my cigars) don't sell chewing stuff. My Uncle got a shitload of copenhagen and Skoal when he was in the US a few months ago, ran out and told me to buy some more. I saw the Burbon stuff on the Copenhagen website, looks kinda cool, might try some myself. Heard it can make you queasy/sick of you never done it before though.

I understand it's frustating you don't have *everything* you'd like, but that's the reality of having to share the land with others- you have to take what you can get, and be patient- my land took literally years to build; and not even *I* have everything I'd like. I just learned to accept that and moved on.

Now, I'm not against the idea of granting access to the land- I'm all for economic deals and such; and considering that my nation is pretty close to the Americas ("Latin America", that and I'm Canadian), I'd be interested in a pan-American association, just to throw that idea out there.

We froze up Antarctican claiming until we could get a more accurate map but that hasn't happened yet so it isn't open yet.

Rather than launching into a tirade of insults, you could inquire as to why i was raising my population, which happens to be completely unrelated to additional territories in Antarctica, and i do have a rather large candiate area for a megapolis in Oman and Yemen, especially with technologies such as OTEC and aeroponics, itd be vulnerable as hell to air attack, but theres not much i can do about that, and most of my infrastructure is anyway, especially the New Valley Project.
And secondly on what evidence do you base your assertions that i have no major cities in Antarctica? I have mentioned atleast two major coastal naval bases on that continent (whcih in the CSN are always near cities) in my RPing since i gained control of my current territories.

On the other hand Im getting a case for my new computer build, and yeah Lay, screw 640 mb GeForce 8800 GTS, Im getting myself a GTX! That thing will PWN with a big P. It should be about a month and a half till I buy everything though, its a work in progress, hopefully by that time the prices will fall on most the stuff atleast a little bit, I know that the price on the E6600 chips et has gone down considerably, same as E6700, its 2.66 Ghz opposed to 2.4 on 6600 and since its my first build and I don't want to anger it by attempting to Overclock I think Im gonna go with the chipset that gives me most miles per gallon aka the e6700 thats about 90 bucks more expensive than E6600 at this point but it is going down, that shouldn't slow me down in my buying frenzy for more than a week, most likely less since overtime is readily available down at the sweatshop I work in. In any case, the end result will be a fucking Ferrari! To get a computer of this power from say Dell I'd have to put down 6k, building it myself it should be around 1.7 k. In any case, Im loving the anticipation, the day will come Lay then I will proudly proclaim to you: "My computer can beat up your computer!"

Sorry to dissapoint buddy but I can do the same thing, 64 bit quad capable, and is also 64 bit already, Im not buying a 200 dollar mobo and 317 dollar chipset for nothing you know, it supports pretty much all the Intels, including Quad and Extreme, but of course I don't feel like spending a thousand bucks on a chipset so I'll chill with Intel Core 2 Duo E6700 2.66 Ghz, plenty enough for all my gaming needs for years to come, coupled with my GeForce 8800 GTX that is, 768 mb! And its Sli, so if Im suddenly feeling like being a god I can buy another one and stick it in and double the goodness. Im also getting a different case from the one I showed you, GTX is big, I read one of the reviews for the Antec case I showed you, the guy said he had to mod the case a bit to be able to stick the GTX in, Im buying another case, its 2 inches roomier, has two 120 mm fans installed already, reviews praise it for great air flow, I might have to get another fan but its worth being able to have it looking pretty with a GTX inside. That case better be good, its 40 bucks more expensive plus the delivery is fucking 15.99 (wtf?), and Im getting the case on friday, I get off work at 6 am, I go to bank at 9 am, direct deposit is good instantly, I take the first step towards destiny at 9:15 am. Sorry to dissapoint buddy but I can do the same thing, 64 bit quad capable, and is also 64 bit already, Im not buying a 200 dollar mobo and 317 dollar chipset for nothing you know, it supports pretty much all the Intels, including Quad and Extreme, but of course I don't feel like spending a thousand bucks on a chipset so I'll chill with Intel Core 2 Duo E6700 2.66 Ghz, plenty enough for all my gaming needs for years to come, coupled with my GeForce 8800 GTX that is, 768 mb! And its Sli, so if Im suddenly feeling like being a god I can buy another one and stick it in and double the goodness. Im also getting a different case from the one I showed you, GTX is big, I read one of the reviews for the Antec case I showed you, the guy said he had to mod the case a bit to be able to stick the GTX in, Im buying another case, its 2 inches roomier, has two 120 mm fans installed already, reviews praise it for great air flow, I might have to get another fan but its worth being able to have it looking pretty with a GTX inside. That case better be good, its 40 bucks more expensive plus the delivery is fucking 15.99 (wtf?), and Im getting the case on friday, I get off work at 6 am, I go to bank at 9 am, direct deposit is good instantly, I take the first step towards destiny at 9:15 am. I think it's time this rule needs reworking. Huahin was forumbanned and Psychotika made repeated and consistent flames, being really disruptive for the group (at least I thought it that way). Sparta Dominion makes one post that runs afoul of the NS moderators and he gets kicked out. Seems a bit harsh. Certainly you can give him the benefit of the doubt that he's just having a bad day- we all have them, and to expect all of us to be in pristine behaviour is simply unreasonable. Repeated disruptive behaviour should be penalized as such, not one careless post that is most likely never to happen again. Put him on a warning if you'd like- because, even if it was just a careless mistake, it's still not condoned behaviour- but I think he should be at least given the opportunity not to make the same mistake again.

I am, but Im not gonna start till saturday, working 12 hours today (6 pm thursday to 6 am friday) and than again on friday 6 pm to 10 pm getting 8 hours of overtime, the beast Im building ain't cheap and I still got a long way to go (month or month and a half just about) till I can afford it all so Im working my ass off, its basically sleep, work, sleep, work. Yeah I think I saw it on Future Weapons in that facility thing. They shot a piece of metal like the size of a penny through a brick or something I think. I don't remember too well.

Iowa's probably were the best BB's ever built, not too large and not too small, just right for their intended job. The Japanese went for overkill with the Yamato Class (18" guns). They are the largest in history, Yamato and Musashi and both got sunk with a combined arms attack from air and sea. I ain't a naval whizz but I think the Japanese staked way too much on the big guns and separate naval air compliments, whereas the US went for a 'combined' arms approach, utlising the Iowa's in conjunction with destroyers and naval aircraft.

Iowa's weren't the only good battleships ever made, but two of them are still around, albeit in mothballs, and you can't say that about any other battleships of that size.

Although the 16" Mark 7s mounted on the Iowas were impressive weapons, perhaps some of the best Naval Artillery Peices manufactured, ever, im leaning towards the Jean Bart or HMS Vanguard as the best battleships built, as these incorporated lessons learned during the war, especially with Jean Barts heavy AA battery. And the Iowas werent particularily good seaboats, they had there A turrets awash with waves in one NATO Exercise while Vanguards foredeck was dry (except for the rain falling on it)

The guns in question will have independent transverse for each barrel in there mounts. I always have allowed for that option in my naval mounts. Its easier to target seperate targets that way.

Trust me I'm not. They're REALLY helping the painting of it and I find out how to color without overlapping them. Hard edge on the paint bucket, not anti-aliased.

Russia could be screwed up because it's very different from our map. The Pacific is MAJORLY lacking as is the other islands of the world (no Azores). Alrighty then. I have several buildings and building sites available for an embassy in downtown Stockholm. It's really your choice, the compound we suggest is a 10-story complex overlooking the river. It offers the opportunity for excellent security, has a prepositioned guard station and numerous other features that would be useful for an embassy. The building was constructed 10 years ago for another nation to use as an embassy and they elected to construct there own facility. If this building isn't suitable there is a 2 hectacre tract adjacent to this property that is suitable for a building site.

We will need a building in your capital that is roughly equivalent to the 10 story complex described above. I expect to have a staff of 70-90 civilians working in the embassy along with two squads of Hawdawg Marines (24) for guarding the facility. If a small hangar is available at the airport that is a plus, we will need storage for a 8-10 passenger Lear Jet and 1-MH-101 Merlin Medium Lift Helicopter. Some sort of Helipad in the complex will need to be available.

Since that time it grew and expanded and the Cossacks started forming their own brigades and eventually an army. In any case, the Russian President has signed an order recognizing the Cossachestvo and their right to police within their own land, that was defined by the order as to include a few villages populated by Cossacks only. The government will issue them uniforms, will allow them to access the arms storage in their territory and allow them to finally perform the sacred warriors swearing in ceremony and sign their name under the declaration of a soldier, agreeing to protect the motherland as long as they live.

Those are major lists I tell you. Currently, to give people here an idea what I'm doing. 38 hours a week at glaceau followed by anywhere from 8 - 12 - 16 hours at Home Depot Monday, Friday, and Saturday. Lodge meetings Tuesdays. Wednesday & Thursday are free unless I go to my mom's on LI one of those days or I go out with friends. To add even more into the mix, James met a girl and we're seeing each other so that adds even less free time although it isn't like I can't breathe I have no free time so I'm not going anywhere anytime soon. Although this weekend was fun, work, brother's bday, bar saturday & then beach / game night sunday [how old am I that I went to a "game" night] so yeah fun times but wearing me down...Good I'm young right? Couldn't do this 20 yr from now.

Cool man, congrats on the accomplishments. I mostly divide my time between sleep, work and plotting to kill the icecream man. God damn I need booze.

Even when I sleep I don't really sleep to well :(. It sucks.

just a post to say that I'm still around - work has been surprisingly time-consuming so I'm cherishing my "weekend moments" more often [this is the weekend for me]. I'll have more time this afternoon, so hopefully, I'll do something with RTL and maybe the coup plot as well.

Glad to hear you're doing well SL. Weekends when I did full-time (before I became an expediter) were Thursday & Friday (for a short while till they took that away from me). I love having Saturday & Sunday off though, they really are good days to be off, I must admit. Thursday and Friday weren't bad but none of my friends were off those days so it basically just added less capability to hang out but alas such is changed. Now I just have one day to myself, Sunday. The world is right, us Americans work more than the Japanese :|. We're now voted one of the most "working" societies out there, which is sad. To think, we take less vacation time than the Japanese. That's a major problem because those guys never stop working.

Yeah man same here, its either the cat thats bothering me, or someone calls the phone while Im the only one in the house trying to fall asleep, the end result is that there is atleast one day a week that I don't sleep at all, last week went 34 hours with no sleep working for 24 of those. Good thing I've been there a month and Im getting promoted gonna get paid 10.50 bucks for loading...hehe, I rock!

That's a good jump. In 3 years at Home Depot I jumped $4.78, which is over 53% of an increase. That is mighty impressive for their standards so I wish you the same luck.

Thx, Im jumping $ 1.75 in this instance, plus they are getting rid of third shift (10 pm-6 am) which means that I will work second (2 pm -10 pm) and I will sleep at night. Plus of course more money towards my rig.

Cool, cool, GSO is basically you and me now lol. Nero is sort of in an internal struggle right now. Meh...I'll be working on some stuff too, I got tons of drawings and a shitload of bookmarked materials to read through...now if I could only defeat the laziness....BK-1 Oriol tactical bomber and all those fancy missiles to go with it is the first thing on the list now, of course my other problem is that I can't concentrate on one thing...it all started with me wanting to make an IFV or a tank (you saw the drawings, that was about 4 months ago) then in the middle of writing the write up I became compelled to design an assault rifle (AD-142), after that I was listening to some angry Russian rap about how the government sells out, opened paint and drew the missiles (you saw the pics in GSO forums, Lay you saw em too I showed you) and then the bomber...did general stat sheet for the bomber, copied the engines write up word for word from my T-0 Tsaplia and then (once again listening to angry Russian rap) I drew a pistol and thats how "KORSHUN" was born. My point is that my mind is an amazing thing that really, really needs drugs for concentration but I can't buy drugs must save up for my new rig Im building.

And this has been another installment of Uncle Vanya's rants! You read it, you can't unread it!

Those are loud jets, yes they are. But when I was younger, every morning around 9:00 a.m. we used to get the mother of all loud jets over the house in Elmont. I'll give you a hint, New York was the only airport that allowed it to land. Most of the times they would come over you know 5,000 feet, enough to scare the shit out of your sleep but not enough to really do much. Then there were times the house would shake!
