And finally, I have free trade agreements with Bjornoya and USB. And even more finally, Kenya is not landlocked. And even more finally than that, islands provide an excellent source of hydropower and solar power. And most finally of all, the outbreak was not due to incompetence but rather underestimation of the virus.

And how a country such as yours, being at a constant state of war readiness and lockdown in peacetime can survive with the approval of your multiple billions of citizens, is beyond my knowledge.

The only place in RL as militarized as you are is North Korea, and we all have been listening to our People's Radio broadcasts and Kim Jong-Il's speeches and know that they're happy.

If anyone here has read the Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks, which I highly recommend for the humor (they take it so seriously) anyway, will know everything about Solanum zombies. They are not unstoppable, as has been revealed. But it will be difficult, and will most likely require the efforts of more than one African nation to suppress.

Furthermore, zombies can survive underwater, so ocean currents may carry these things elsewhere (the Americas or Asia, for example), so we may all have to unite against the zombie menace...

What war footing? I don't keep the country on a war footing. Just because I lock down the borders with rogue states such as yours doesn't mean the country is at war. And one word from me and Bjornoya and USB will stop trading with you.
If you knew anything about my nation you'd see people have more freedom than most, freedom to choose Local, State and Province officials, the freedom to travel in approved countries, the freedom to leave their car unlocked, its windows down and the keys in the ignition without risk of it being stolen. Your Government has even covered up the damm virus- way to go there, bribe people here and there, go ahead- that sure is freedom. Umm...no- more like a certain Asian nation you mentioned. I hazard a guess that your definition of freedom is being able to download pornography and get bail after raping someone, or 5 years for murder. People are generally happy when they can go out at night without fear of getting mugged or raped and can let their kids play in the street without fear of sickos watching. How could you NOT be happy living on a lovely beach? Isn't that what every American wants? Obviously, I know not everyone is going to be happy, but why should they be unhappy with the situtation? I've been very creative in building up a transportation infrastructure; there are thousands of bridges, subways under the islands, huge ferry fleets, and an airstrip on most inhabited islands. And the government subsidizes the airlines and ferry lines so transportation between islands is very cheap.

Obviously, this event is going to ruin the economy temporarily, since most our mineral resources come from Kenya. And a minefield will not stop a zombie, since the only way to kill a zombie is by destoying its brain. Shrapnel from a mine rarely reaches the head, so these mines may blow off their legs and snap their spines, but they will keep crawling towards you till they're dead.

Simple solution, carpet bomb the incoming waves of zombies and the problem is solved. I don't care how indestructible they are a loaded B-52 on a saturation bombing run will eliminate the threat. If they still are coming in waves thermite-napalm rounds burst above ground with proximity fuses will light the air on fire and burn the flesh from there bodies and effectively boil there brains in the skull. Skillfully placed antipersonnel mines, etc. in a defensive corridor would channel the attacking masses into choke points that would allow for a further elimination of the threat. If a massive wave was so large they couldn't be halted these measures above would severely limit there advance.

Krey, my mines are designed to shred humans, not just blow their legs off. The smallest Anti-Personnel mine has 50 Pounds of HE RDX and will turn a human being into red mist. The good thing is that the explosive charge is so great in tests more than 1 Target was destroyed. I could also use electric signals to change the pressure gauges on AT Mines, which are 100 Pounds plus of shaped charge.

I had a sneaking feeling Jean-Pierre Dumont was going to come up in this...:p

Anyway, we re-signed Daniel Briere (that was a close one), signed Jaroslav Spacek and lost Jay McKee, Mike Grier and Martin Biron. As far as Dumont goes, I'm not disappointed by the decision- I didn't like him much (he could score and could score some big goals, but in the clutch it was more and more Briere doing it all) and if he leaves, it'll be Derek Roy, Ales Kotalik, Jiri Novotny and Tomas Vanek taking his place. I'm especially high on Roy and Kotalik- they're ready for bigger roles after the playoffs they had.

Yea I think you'll do just fine without JP Dumont + McKay. I would have thought a trade involving Biron would be more benefical but you could afford to lose him nonetheless with Miller. I think what the Sabres are doing with Biron is waiting for the right offer. We're not going to trade him for nothing- and maybe we'll use him to land J-P Dumont's replacement. We're having cap problems though so that may be an issue, but I hope we won't do what the Vancouver Canucks (who I also like) did when they traded Dan Cloutier for just a draft pick. I am hopeful that Kotalik or Roy really blossoms- Daniel Briere will need the help up front, with or without Dumont. We lost to Carolina because we didn't have anyone- other than Briere- who could grab the bull by the horns and take a game though we did put a good fight (I still hold we were the last team to really "beat" the Hurricanes, because the Edmonton Oilers didn't really "beat" Carolina until Game 6- the rest of the time they were just lucky). The Sabres won't be a surprise anymore so Darcy Reiger can't be complacent, but I like what he and Lindy Ruff have done so far.

I like Robert Esche...but you're right in saying one of Antero Nittymaki or Esche needs to go- they're both elite goaltenders. I'm big on Kyle Calder and Geoff Sanderson's still got his legs (but he's getting old), but Nolan Baumgartner and Randy Robitaille are journeymen who haven't stuck anywhere; and, as much as I may not agree with Bobby Clarke's methods, I think he's doing a fine job and I trust he knows what he's doing. Besides, Jeff Carter and Michael Richards are one year older so that will help. Eric Desjardins wasn't as good as he once was but Kim Jonsson- that will hurt. Where did he go?

I don't know the error but I will tell you this my BF1942 clan's website was hacked a few days ago by somebody and they trashed over a month's worth of work by our website designer. He was thoroughly pissed.

No it's an SQL problem that is a host problem, they'll have to fix it.

The problem I ran into was trying to post a large body of text, it wouldn't let me. Kept saying there was an 'Internal Error'.

My host provider must have done some sort of backup or change during the course of the night between 0200 and 1030 EST that caused the error. They are on PST so they are 3 hours behind me so it could have been early this morning or really late last night that they did this. Either way, there is a trouble ticket in so until you hear further, consider the off-site forums down.

The Defense Ministry declassified several crates of documents today, including "Operation Mini-Dog". The operation was the highly classified Cottish warplan to train dogs to take the place of humans at weapons installations in case the human is killed. Developed and tested during the first Cold War (read: the TOA vs Pushka era) but later cancelled due to poor results. Only one of the twenty dogs in the programme managed to actually fire the M134 Minigun. Unfortunately, it hit the trainer and several higher-ranking officers before a sentry shot the dog. Hey man, I've met art people- they're among the friendliest people I've ever met. I'll agree that some of them are tripped out (and quite a few are a little too political), but I find them interesting, to say the least.

As far as my artistic skills go, I'm the kind of guy that would splash a bucket of paint onto a canvas and call that my "abstract art"- although I'd say my writing is an art, and that I'm good at.

The only problems that seem to be is that the forums aren't remembering your login, which just means you have to re-login. They have this on the "Known Issues" page with some other minor things.

Well, I don't know the whole situation- it may be a communications error whereby Jolt isn't telling NS about the updates, but is NS' responsibility to ensure that the code is always operational.

I've been enrolled into the Historic-Philosophic Faculty at the University of Bergen, to take a Bachelor degree in Middle Eastern affairs. The mentors are having a lot of activities for us this week, most of which include large amounts of alcohol.

Me too. The original Ghost Recons for the PC kicked ass, just a pity you couldn't see the guns, although that, surprisingly, didn't detract from how damm good they were. But since GR2 on the XBOX I've been used to the Over-The-Shoulder cam.

I just got "A history of Britain" DVD. Its a dam good doc on the history of Britain by Simon Schama. The conquest episode is the best because it tells about King Harold, Willam of Normandy and Harold's brothers war for the British crown back in 1000 AD. Im now watching the Revolutions episode which is about Britain back when it was a kingless Republic under Oliver Cromwell. I highly recommend it if you're interesting in British history

From what I'm guessing, it may go all the way back to 410, when the Romans pulled out, or even further, to 55 BC when Julius Caesar first invaded it. Seems to offer a panoramic view of British history- very interesting.

That Schama guy was great for a while, did some excellent programs, especially the 'History of Britain', but apparently they had to stop future planned programs because he was demanding too much money. Thus a sketch show once mocked him by doing the history of Henry VIII using only three props- scales, a cake and a pack of cards- because thats all the show could afford after his fee.
I kind of fell out of liking him after he published a book called 'Rough Crossings', which basically blamed the US for slavery. Naturally he was slammed by loads of historians for pandering to Europe's anti-US Feeling at the time and for looking for a quick scapegoat to a problem that was much more than something you could simply blame on one country. Despite his prowess as a historian of Britain, the rest of his work seems to be populist and ill-researched.

No it starts earlier then that. It starts at 3100 BC with the stone age village at Skara Brae and ends with the last episode about George Orwell and Winston Churchill so bascially it goes from 3100 BC to 1965 AD. The complete set comes with 5 DVD's so it is pretty long

Ernesto has been upgraded to a CAT I Hurricane. Western Hispanola and southeastern Cuba is on a Hurricane warning with an expected CAT III by the time it reaches Florida. Shit, sorry guys I was all ready to come back two weeks ago but work kicked my ass. Was more or less trying to reclaim the school's network from the kids who hacked it, a task that I had no friggin clue how to do. After a while the ones who were hacking into administator accounts showed me how they did it and why they did it (they wanted to download games on their computers, something they could not do on their own accounts) I was impressed enough to spare them my wrath.

In the end I figured the kids were more apt at handling computer problems than a bunch of archaic bureacratic drones who type 'The password is mydocuments' as the hint for the password to administrator accounts. And after that I bid a fond adeiu to that hell-hole and have returned to college where I shall have much more time to play. I had the 7-3:30 shift and split my 8 hours of sleep in half (would sleep from 4-8, get up and eat, then sleep from 2-6) which is why I had so little RPing time this summer.

Anyway, my apologies to Krey, Brink and Hirg for not informing you guys of the situation earlier. I hope the RP we were discussing is still a go. Krey I'll TG you and hopefully we can get this started as long as you're still up to it.

Oh yeah, I think I can be off D13 now, thanks Lay.

So Jolt is suddenly extremely slow for me, with each page taking on average of two to three minutes to load. Does anyone else have this problem, or am I the only one?

So I talked to NG yesterday. He's doing good, back in NOLA, trying to get everything sorted out. His compy is still fried (bad virus got his whole hardware setup and its in the BIOS). He said he'll be moving up to Philly soon so who knows but he should be back soon, I hope.

Was anyone watching Fox and Freinds this morning? I was and about 20 minutes ago they did a story about this TV Film on Channel 4 (Mega-Hippie-Liberal-Commie channel that the BBC have too much to do with) called Death of a President. Can you guess what its about?

Funnily enough the 'President' looks and acts and does like President Bush, yet he apparently is not called that. What this piece of shit film is basically a British protest film showing some nutcase killing the President. What the fuck is the problem with British people these days? American saved your ass twice, show a little respect bitches. Just because America wants to kill terrorists instead of give them houses and hand-outs doesn't mean you gotta make a dis-respectful and dangerous film about it. Damm it I am pissed off.

Hey guys i just got back from my leadership institute training. I have a difficult job this fall. I have to go to college campuses in Iowa and help start up conservative clubs (gun clubs, pro life, pro capitalist clubs, publications). Im a right wing Vlad Lenin. So i'll be on the road for the next 10 weeks, though i will still be active on NS. Then after forming those groups i have to have them take part in some kind of event...a protest or something like that.

Hey guys i just got back from my leadership institute training. I have a difficult job this fall. I have to go to college campuses in Iowa and help start up conservative clubs (gun clubs, pro life, pro capitalist clubs, publications). Im a right wing Vlad Lenin. So i'll be on the road for the next 10 weeks, though i will still be active on NS. Then after forming those groups i have to have them take part in some kind of event...a protest or something like that.

Before I do anything further, though most of you have no Idea I was doing anything at all, I am going to be making terrorist sort of attacks on certain nations of Earth II. I have discussed with an unnamed member of Earth II who owns a nice amount of land in order for my group to exsist. I dont want to make any posts untill you have given permission to me. Keep in kmind though terrorist attacks are suppose to be random and not knowen so this message is strictly OOC of cource and it would be rather cheap if suddenly terror threat alerts became stronger in every country. My targets will not be names untill after the fact, as well as the person hosting me. I was wondering though if there was anything in your charter that will not allow me to do this, I read through it but I might have missed somthing.
