Yeah, I guess everyone's just busy with work/school. I just finished a extremely long article (four pages) on a new law against MP3-files that the Norwegian government want to push thru. I even wrote a mail to my representative on Stortinget (the Norwegian Parliament) and told him my position.

As for the RPs, I'm still invading the Marshall islands, though I'm gonna trade them with NG once we take the WIck... I'm not so sure about the others. Let me check...

LOL yeah Modern Tech extends out to about 2008-ish. 2012 tech would be Post-modern and i think anything after 2020 would be future

I like that policy. We have the same one only we do let some limited criticism of the government (no public demonstrations though). But as far as liberal policies (hehehe non-existent).

Well, we have snow on the ground (I think it's almost a foot deep). It's clear now.

At this exact moment in time, it is 58 degrees Farenheit outside my house, or if you prefer, 14.4 degrees Celsius. There's at least one good thing about living in Florida.

Lately, I've seen a lot of threads out there about best RP'er in NS and most respected. Do you think we should do that stuff with E2? I can do another form-like thing on my site and we could use that or we could use a simple post. I am curious, what categories should we have? Definitely the obvious would be: Best RP, Best RP'er, Most Respected RP'er, but what else. And I think honestly, for the sake of this, I should not be included in either of the latter two categories. I will not exclude myself from best RP though ;).

Well, when I went it was either rainy or cold...I've long held that Florida, though better than Canada, isn't all that it's cracked up to be since the winter can be so uneven. I'd rather be in Mexico, to tell you the truth.

Interesting. I remember they predicted Charley was going to hit Tampa and bypass our area but instead it hit Captiva and Punta Gorda. How often do you go down to the Fort Myers area, and have you seen Sanibel since Charley came by?

My town is run by a very liberal mayor so because of that we don't have adequate police & fire coverage, the hospital is dispicable (sp?), the roads have potholes the size of manhole covers and 4" deep, and the school system is in shambles. So whoever said liberals are for the people, because they certainly aren't in Mount Vernon. I tell you my steering is going to go because of all the dodging potholes that I have to do!

FYI I have 82 threads in my Earth II (Complete) folder and another 45 in my Earth II (Active) folder. DAMN FINE JOB!

I personally can't stand either group. I have both conservative and liberal views on several ideas, but depending on which side of the fence you are on you get slapped with a "label" for what you believe in. I consider myself an indepedent because I look at the issues and the person running before I vote for them. I also won't vote for a person that doesn't have an opponent, it erks me.

As far as liberals screwing things up, here is Texas the Republican led Legislature is tattooing the school funding system right now. We will soon have the highest sales taxes in the nation, and all the little sneaky things like car inspection, fees and registrations are all set to go up. The funny thing about it is they are claiming to dump 3 billion dollars into the school systems in Texas when in fact they are gutting some school programs to generate this money. The stance they have taken on financing the schools in Texas is appaulling. This is all very depressing since the proposed cuts are coming in the field I teach in. Which means I will be forced to teach a core subject class or seek employment doing something else. One other tidbit, I have a BS and have 7 yrs experience teaching and make 1/3rd the money I should with the degree I have. Texas treats teachers like red-headed stepchildren. So to say the least they are not on my Christmas Card list.

Man, that'll mean that the Ohian legislators won't be just metaphorically go at each other's throats, they'll literally go after each other's throats. Although, in Jerry Springer's defence, I do think he's a smart guy- he just puts on a rather raunchy show. It may be a stretch, but I could see him as Governor (besides, if I remember correctly, he was Mayor of Cinncinatti once).

Furthermore, looked what happened to Arnold...he's doing pretty well as Governor of California. So don't write off Mr. Springer just yet.

(Though I do wonder what's going on down there...all these celebrities wanting to become Governor...has the US gone to the dogs ;) )

I know of Worcester, not Worchester. If we are talking about WORCESTER, then it is a nice city(it's the 2nd largest in New England). It's moderatly well off, not too much poverty but not alot of richness either. Boston is a better city, of course, but Worcester is still nice.

This year was weird, it began late, we had plus temperatures in december, it started getting cold only about a month ago, it should get warmer around may, usually it all starts in late september.

I'm from Bedford, next to Lexington (ugh, only cambridge is worse), and Hanscom AFB, one of the few sane places in the state. The base is cool, even though I can't get on it, we still see all the cool planes, and theres a couple of patriot missiles around.

1) you better have left the base alone, the RL closure risk is bad enough
2)whats the rule for inactive rpers in the middle of an invasion? Hogsweat hasnt posted on the Bahrain thread for 12 days, is it still occuring? He has been NS active, up to 2 hours before me writing this. Theres not much I can do, he sent in an air attack and hasnt been back

It was the food, the food is irresistable. But don't get me wrong, Long Island is still the best. We have a little bit of everything.

For one thing, anyone who is a communist must suffer a horrible fate of evil, but not all of us are communist. Besides, NY has Hilary, a "horrible fate of evil" just as bad as Ted Kennedy (maybe), but I am most definetely anti-communist and anti-liberal

Elephantum: What base are you talking about? And the policy on people dropping off in the middle of an invasion is a sort of odd thing. If they blatantly and actively ignore a legitimate RP then it's a no-no. If they drop off because of personal difficulty and so on and so fourth then it's okay. A good way to judge these things is that if they post in other RPs and they log on consistently and they still refuse to post then it's definitely no good. If they just don't log on then it's so-so because that'll back up their personal reasons. It's a case-by-case basis to be honest. And yes Clinton must perish! Boston must perish too!

Elephantum: What base are you talking about? And the policy on people dropping off in the middle of an invasion is a sort of odd thing. If they blatantly and actively ignore a legitimate RP then it's a no-no. If they drop off because of personal difficulty and so on and so fourth then it's okay. A good way to judge these things is that if they post in other RPs and they log on consistently and they still refuse to post then it's definitely no good. If they just don't log on then it's so-so because that'll back up their personal reasons. It's a case-by-case basis to be honest. And yes Clinton must perish! Boston must perish too!

Teh Ninjas: As much as I am from LI I can't stand the place. I've come to see that 95% of the people there are fickle, fake, superficial slobs that must all be pushed into the sea.

I completely didn't even see that to be honest and rightfully so, granted by my mistake he is the rightful ruler of said land. You did an RP and you both did it legitimately. Hmmm.....didn't see this for a while. We have a minor problem. With Parthia gone, I've got something like 40 divisions motoring around the deserts near Oman participating in training exercises with The Parthians troops.

So, who just took over Oman? Or the UAE? And are you going to be letting me out? Or am I going to get to have to smash my way out? Or should I just drive overland through Hogsy's Saudi desert back to friendly allied territory? Considering the fact 40 divisions and their attendent battlefleet are just a bit large and would probably be noticed should a country change owners...

So NS Earth =/= an Earth? Good. I've been working on a sector of NS Earth where I have my main nation, with territories different than what I have here.

It's okay "hell" won't attract mods. But using a whole lot of drill sergeant words may attract them. I've spoken to them about the length of this single post and they said that it's alright and won't be locked because it's not spam or some un-intelligent, meaningless post. So if we go to 5,000 posts and I hope we do, we'll still exist. And if they do lock it they will let me know so that I can start another thread. They're cool about it.

Mine are as follows:

1) Have a heck of a lot of tests the week before Easter, and sit at home and worry about the results thruout Easter.
2) Get visited by my brother and oldest nephew who lives on the other side of the country.
3) Get drunk on C2H6OH sometime during the Easter along with my friends (provided I can get some C2H6OH).
4) Sleep!
