"Magic, an exciting subject. Dragon Magick is especially potent. However, you must have drgon blood to learn it." The man said.

"If you give me half your soul I'll give you dragon blood." The woman offered.

"She'll do no such thing. that's against the law." The man said.

"Of course, hello. I break the law all the time. Its what I do. Come on, use that head for something other than a hat rack for once." she said.

"You look lost son, allow me to introduce myself. I'm known as the Platnium Dragon, I'm Bahamut, second most powerful of all summons, ruler of all good dragons, and a God of dragons to boot. Many respect me for my wisdom and power." Bahamut said.

"I am Tiamet, Queen of all Bad Dragons, and Dark goddess. Many fear me for my short temper, and come to me for many bargains. I am also a summons, second most powerful like bahamut, but only for those who follow evil instead of good."

"We're here in the tower, because due to recent events, the summons all got together and decided to take shelter here, so that we may continue to serve the summoners. We're all around the tower, see if you can find us all." Bahamut said.

"Ohhh!" Loki said as the realization set in. "Now I know who you two are," he said as he had heard about the powerful summons, especially bahamut.

"Um, okay, I will go look for everyone," he said as he put the book in his pocket.

Lets see... there is Fat Chocobo... Ifrit and Shiva... Jormangundr, Ramuh, Cerberus, Typhoon... Titan and Diablo... Jyzumar, Draeval, and Phantom... Venus, Doomtrain, Elemental Warrior... uh... oh, Bahamut and Tiamet of course. There is one more I think... what is its name? Ah, oh well, I can't remember - perhaps it will come to me when I am searching for the others.

Loki set off to find the summons. Are they really all here? First he went as high as he could to the top of the tower, up many flights of stairs and to the pinnacle. He searched around looking for a summon.

"It is not polite to ask a ladies age. you would do well to remember that when you seek a mate." she said.

A great black shadow spread accross the top of the tower. The nameless One? no, for all the elements could be seen in this black shadow. it billowed in the wind as a cloack. Loki could see something standing ontop, on the thin pole that ran up a little ways for lightning.

Loki had found the famed warrior of the elements, The Elemental Warrior.

"haha, only the gods themselves can lay claims to being that old. As for me, i am Elven, and of adult age." Valanthe said.

The Elemental Warrior looked down at Loki. His cape swirled down and encomapssed the top of the tower, banishing all meaning of direction. Loki came to be Eye level with TEW, and he spoke to l;oke directly.

"I am many things. I am of the elements themselves. I am a nightmare, breed out of contempt. i am a blessing, decended out of Love. I am a son of the Avatars of Creation, I am nothing, yet i am everything. I serve those that can prove they can find the others, and then direct them towards lord Bahamut. "We were successful in rescuing Aldur, yes. And I am pleased to hear that you have taken the time to study your planets history. I will help as best I can, but with things the way they are, the training may be haphazard."

The newcomer seemed to smile,"Ten trillion? I find that unlikely. The only places where I have come across more than twenty billion people are in large coalitions. Nowhere does a single nation possess anywhere near a trillion people in total, let alone ten trillion, as you so claim. Also, consider we are facing but one being, as of yet. Magick will defeat him... but attrition is not acceptable under any circumstances."

OOC: Quick lesson; It's not a good idea to claim to have ten billion people unless you can come up with a VERY good backstory to it. The only ones who RP in the trillions also RP as having massive empires that span galaxies. I don't mingle with them, as it's not my style. Bear in mind that Earth currently only has a population of 6 billion, and I doubt it could sustain 10 trillion. Take that into account.

IC: The blond man looked around,"I must do something."

He followed Fingal,"Going to see Arianna will not help you if you do not learn to control your power. Raw emotion may give you large amounts of power, but with no control you will not be able to distinguish between friend and foe. You will do more harm than good with uncontrolled power."

"Well Our planet is very large and very old. You might not have come acrose it because it in a very remote portion of the universe. We have been isolated for many eons. Well one of my friends Brought me this book that Tehy managed to find in an old burnt out building in one of the ancient abandoned citys. Magik seems to have been split Into two main forms. Matter magick which has four parts water, earth, air, and plasma. Then there was the energy forms which came in pairs. Our most domanent was spirit which is but one of many energy forms." As to the Claws, The Brotherhood has layed claim to the Claws. We always keep one relic off our most powerful opponets, and one on one, Brutus was one of the best. So, Tharivol has one, and I'll need that one, to send into the imperial museum of Royal artifacts." Valanthe said.

Loki found himself in a random room in the tower. EW turned and walked away.
DMG
17-12-2005, 02:38
"Um, thank you," Loki said to EW as he disappeared. Thinking briefly, Loki now headed downstairs and into the cafeteria where he had first met Xos. Looking around he found the door to the kitchen - as he entered it, he walked over to the stoves and looked around for a summon.

ooc: I am assuming there is a kitchen?
Warhaven
17-12-2005, 02:45
Loki found lots of slivers everywhere cooking for everyone. No summons in sight though.
DMG
17-12-2005, 02:50
After searching around the kitchen he came up with nothing - except the wonderful smells of fresh food being cooked. Realizing that there was no summon to be found there, Loki left the kitchen in search of them somewhere else.

Deciding that the summons might be outside the White Tower, Loki made his way to the fields surrounding the area.

ooc: sorry I forgot what the area around the White Tower looks like, could you possibly give me a brief update?
Warhaven
17-12-2005, 02:58
OOC: generally, a big feild, with a town at the other end. Howefer...

IC: looking outside, Loki found another summons, Doomtrain. He circled the tower, leaving a wide openeing for entry and exit. Doomtrain looked like a really, really big worm, shaped exactly like a train, with a humanoid face, no ears, standered smoke stack on top, and wheeles on the bottom. He really was, a giant living train. he was also growing a new caboose, his old one dead, and had previously been shed.
DMG
17-12-2005, 03:01
Must be doomtrain... Loki proceeded to walk the long way until he reached the head of the 'worm'. "Umm... hi. I am Loki... I am searching for summons - are you doomtrain?" he asked carefully.
Warhaven
17-12-2005, 03:05
"Yes." was al Doomtrain said. he was a being of few words.
DMG
17-12-2005, 03:16
"Umm... okay. I guess I found you then," Loki said as he moved onto looking for the next summon. Hmmm... perhaps the Fat Chocobo is hiding out in the fields or forests around here?

Loki bid good bye to the massive figure of Doomtrain and walked farther away from the tower into the distant fields.
Warhaven
17-12-2005, 03:22
Many chocobos wandered the feilds, and they all seemed to look at the Tower on occasion. None of them were fat however. In fact, they all seemed to be in top shape.
DMG
17-12-2005, 03:24
Loki looked around and noticed that none of the chocobos. He walked up to one of them carefully, as to not frighten it, and whispered to it softly, "Do you know where the Fat Chocobo is?" He was doubtful that he would get a response from it but he figured he might as well try. If he didn't, he would return to the tower in search of another summon.
Warhaven
17-12-2005, 03:30
"Kweh." The bird said looking at the tower still.

"WARK!" said a baby chocobo excitedly. It ran away from Loki in fear. Its mother caught it and reassured it with a nuzzle. Most of the Adult males looked at Loki curiously. The mothers seemed to back away with their children. Loki snuck up on them, was he friend or foe?
DMG
17-12-2005, 03:34
Loki raised his hands and laid his staff upon the ground, trying to show them that he meant no harm. In fact, Loki was much smaller than the adult chocobos and was even smaller than some of the baby chocobos. "Fat Chocobo..." he repeated trying to get a friendly reaction from them as he hoped they wouldn't attack.
Warhaven
17-12-2005, 03:36
Once again, the Chocobos looked at the Tower. Once again they all said Kweh. a nearby chocobo began to sniff Loki for Gyshal Greens.
DMG
17-12-2005, 03:40
Unfortunately Loki didn't have any greens to give to the chocobos so he backed off slowly and picked up his staff. Resigning himself to the fact that he wouldn't get much from the chocobos... unless they were signalling that the Fat Chocobo was inside the tower somewhere.

Loki made his way across the field and up past Doomtrain, into the tower. Looking down the halls, Loki decided that his next move would be to search the lowest realm of the tower. He set off and found the stairs that let down, taking him deep below the ground, he began searching for any signs of a summon.
Warhaven
17-12-2005, 03:46
Loki found the Cellar. Random Spirits haunted the celler. The stairs suddenly disappeared behind loki, trapping him down there. The Lights disappeared. a massive Phantom came screaming at Loki.

"WHO DARES ENTER MY CELLER!!!" It screamed and bellowed at Loki, charging at him with all the Fury uit could possibly summon. It was a truly frightening sight.

OOC: the stairs really are there, its just an illusion that they are not. Loki can easily run away screamiong.
DMG
17-12-2005, 03:50
"Huh?!" Loki was confused as the lights suddenly disappeared. "What... ah!"

"Luminos!" he yelled as he smashed the staff down on the ground, light emerging from the jewel located at the top. Loki felt the phantom coming at him, but instead of running away, he ran to the side of the cellar. "Who... who are you?"
Warhaven
17-12-2005, 03:55
The Phantom was rolling on the ground laughing. The lights came back on, the stairs reappeared, and the door swung open.

"I haven't had such a good laugh *more laughter* in years." The Phantom said.

Eventually he stopped, and got back up.

"I rule the Deathless Court. i am Phantom, one of the many summons." Phantom said.
DMG
17-12-2005, 03:59
Loki wasn't laughing with Phantom - but he also wasn't mad because he had just found another summon. "Well, I guess I found you too," Loki said. "Three down, twelve to go," he commented as he headed towards the stairs in search of the next summon.

"Say..." Loki turned around to face Phantom as he got an idea, "Do you perhaps know where I can find the other summons?"
Warhaven
17-12-2005, 04:02
"Now, that would spoil the fun of our little hide and go seek game. I will tell you this though. We're all located within the tower, with exception to Doomtrain. Look, everywhere, even places you wouldn't think of. You were close with the kitchen, but were both too far, and not far enough." Phantom said mysteriously. then he disappeared.
DMG
17-12-2005, 04:06
"Well that certainly was cryptic," Loki said to himself as Phantom disappeared. Oh well... might as well make my way back to the kitchen he thought, and so he did. Exiting the lower leverls of the tower, Loki made his way back up to the cafeteria and eventually into the kitchen.

"You were close with the kitchen, but were both too far, and not far enough... what does that mean," Loki said as he looked around. Loki looked around and found a massive freezer where the perishables were stored. It was a long shot, but he opened the door and looked in, "Hello? Any summons here?"
Warhaven
17-12-2005, 05:05
Shiva sat on a giant block of ice.

"hi." she said in a friendly manner.

"This is the only place with a bearable temperature. All you other people like it way to hot. And ifrit, that Fireplace in the Cafeteria? i mean, hello? this place just isn't suited to us. not that that matters. come, sit. A sliver tried to keep me company for awhile, but had to leave." Shiva said.
DMG
17-12-2005, 05:09
Loki smiled at her. "Thanks," he replied. "I would stay with you, but I need to find the other summons. Perhaps I will come back later and spend time with you?"

He again thanked her before heading out of the freezer and closing the door. Four down...

Walking out of the kitchen and into cafeteria, Loki headed towards the fireplace. "Ifrit," he said as he arrived by the warm fire.
Warhaven
17-12-2005, 05:10
A demonic looking head pooked out.

"What?" he asked.
DMG
17-12-2005, 05:12
"Your Ifrit right?" Loki asked cautiously. "My name is Loki and I am trying to find all of the summons in the tower."
Warhaven
17-12-2005, 05:14
"Yes, I know. I am ifrit. good luck in finding the sixth one." Ifrit said.
DMG
17-12-2005, 05:17
"Thanks," Loki commented as he left Ifrit be and pondered.

Five down… Only ten left: Fat Chocobo, Jormangundr, Ramuh, Cerberus, Typhoon, Titan, Diablo, Jyzumar, Draeval, Venus, and that one I can’t think of.

Where to look?

Loki left the cafeteria and wandered the halls in search of the next summon. He climbed the stairs so that he was on of the higher levels of the tower, and entered a room whose door was open. He noticed it at a balcony and he deiceded to go out and see if he could find anything. Quite breezy this high up he said as he walked on to the balcony and looked around, high and low.
Warhaven
17-12-2005, 05:26
"Hi." said Typoon, the wind summon, standing outside on the Balcony.
DMG
17-12-2005, 05:28
The figure startled Loki as he had been looking over the railing to the ground below. "Uh, hi. Are you Typhoon the summon?" Loki asked hoping that it was.

Six down...
Warhaven
17-12-2005, 05:33
"Yes. We're all taking bets as to when you'll find Jyzumar and Draeval. I took any length of time over six days. So, take six days for me, please? I'll get 100 bars of Mythril." Typhoon said.
DMG
17-12-2005, 05:36
“Well, we will see. I am not sure when I will run into them, so... I can't really say that it wont be in the next five minute or next month,” Loki said as he exited the room and decided on where to go next. "But I will see what happens." He descended the stairs until he was near the ground level and began searching again. I wonder what time it is? he thought as he saw a grandfather clock at the end of the hall next to a pair of massive doors.

He walked down the hall until he arrived in front of the large clock. Hmm… didn’t think it was still this early.
Warhaven
17-12-2005, 05:39
There was also an unnatural Hallway inside the Clock........
DMG
17-12-2005, 05:41
"Thats odd," Loki commented. He decided to explore what it was, so he opened the glass door and climbed in. He began walking down the mysterious hallway, wondering what it held.
Warhaven
17-12-2005, 05:44
There sat Jyzumar and Draeval playing a game of chess. They were in a circular room at the end of the hallway. It was also 20 days in the past in this room. Thus Draeval won the bet, saying that Loki had already found him.
DMG
17-12-2005, 05:48
"Um hi," Loki said as he approached their chess match. "Are you two more summons?" he asked knowing that they most likely were.

Eight down... Fat Chocobo, Jormangundr, Ramuh, Cerberus, Titan, Diablo, Venus and the other one left.
Warhaven
17-12-2005, 05:52
"Courtyard, Main entry, and two rooms. What you seek is not far, yet is not close. All will be found, save for one. Look to the heavens, and yet you may seek what you find." They said.

OOC: And yes, I meant Seek what you find.
DMG
17-12-2005, 05:54
"Um, okay. Thanks!" Loki said. Where to go next? he thought. Suddenly he smacked his head, Of course… the lightning rod. He dashed out of the clock’s hallway and into the normal one. He ran towards the stairs and up as fast as he could.

When he was just about at the top, he stopped to ask someone a couple questions, “Umm… excuse me, but I was wondering if you had a large body of water somewhere? And do you have a place animals stay, like a stable?”
Warhaven
17-12-2005, 05:57
"Umm, there's a fountain in the Courtyard, and a horse stable. That's about it." Said the passing Sliver. Loki would only find Elemental warrior outside by the lightning Rod.
DMG
17-12-2005, 05:59
"Darn, I thought for sure Ramug would be here... oh well," he said dissappointedly as he made his way back down the stairs. Might as well try the horse stables...

Loki climbed down all of the stairs until he found himself on the bottom floor. He walked towards one end of the tower which held the stables. As he opened the door to the outside, he looked around and through all the stables to find a summon.
Warhaven
17-12-2005, 06:02
Loki found Rahegalhoff's Alicorn Stallion, standing next to a pregnant Alicorn Mare. That was it.
DMG
17-12-2005, 06:03
"Nuts... well I guess I should try the fountain in the courtyard," he said as he sped out of the stables and in no time was at the courtyard. He took a quick look around before heading over the fountain.
Warhaven
17-12-2005, 06:07
The first thing to catch his eye, was the Large and grossly overweight chocobo sitting on a bench. This was Fat Chocobo.
DMG
17-12-2005, 06:08
Loki laughed - it was funny to see a chocobo sitting on a bench. He walked over to it, "You are Fat Chocobo, yes?"

Most obviously it was, so Loki planned to go check the fountain more carefully.
Warhaven
17-12-2005, 06:10
"Yes, yes I am." Fat Chocobo replied.

When Loki turned to the Water fountain, he would see both Ramu, and a miniturized Jormangundr looking at each other.

Cerberus and Diablo are in a big room. Titan and Venus are in a small Room. The most powerful summons of all, is just a myth, a rumor, a sham. You'll never find him, for he is naught but a dream." Fat chocobo said.
Avarhierrim

He followed Fingal,"Going to see Arianna will not help you if you do not learn to control your power. Raw emotion may give you large amounts of power, but with no control you will not be able to distinguish between friend and foe. You will do more harm than good with uncontrolled power."

"No ones taught me HOW to control it" *Fingal said sulkily* "my regions in the middle of genocide right now and they didn't have time, so I'm here"
DMG

If he is a rumor... how can they be sure he doesn't exist.

Loki thanked the Chocobo for the piece of advice, no matter how little it was helping him. He couldn't think of where to go. The advice he had gotten so far was, two roome, one big and one small - but to Loki's knowledge he didn't know of the rooms. Perhaps somebody else knows of such rooms.

Loki headed back inside the tower and straight to the wizards' chamber to ask them if they knew of the rooms.
Warhaven
17-12-2005, 06:22
"What? Big Room? Is not a Room an area with four walls and a ceiling." The warhaven wizard said.
DMG
17-12-2005, 06:24
"To my knowledge that is exactly what a room is," Loki replied to the wizard. "But... the summons told me that the others were in a big room and a small room."
Warhaven
17-12-2005, 06:29
Summons are mysterious creatures. Each either is in an area that is filled with his or her ability, or in a place that defies his or her ability, with the exception of Bahamut and Tiamet. Research the Summons in better detail, and you will win their game." The wizard said.

OOC: You've passed Diablo mulitple times in the main Entry, as well as Cerberus, you just were not looking in the right places. The main Entry is a BIG Room, with a high ceiling. Titan and Venus, are in rooms that are specific to their nature. Titan is in a small Room of earth magick, and Venus is Queen of the fairies.
DMG
17-12-2005, 06:34
"Alright," Loki responded as he left the room to contemplate what to do next. He entered the main hall again and sat down on the floor. Reaching into his pocket, he produced Magic... and begun flipping through its pages for something on summons.

He read through the chapter on summons quickly, but learned nothing knew. Tired he laid back and let his body rest. As he did so, his eyes darted across the dark ceiling above.
Warhaven
17-12-2005, 06:37
Defying gravity and hanging on the ceiling was either a really biug bat, a Demon, or both. Infact, it waqs a neutral Demon of Gravity, and it was Diablo.

Diablo stretched a wing and waved at Loki.

Laying there, slowly, the scent of Death came to loki. It was strong, and it came from a Magick Door that usually remained closed, yet was cracked open just a hair.
DMG
17-12-2005, 06:39
Liam waved back before he smelled the strange scent. Bolting upright, Loki looked around and noticed the smell was coming from the door. Partially afraif and partially relieved, Loki made his way over to the door and opened it. Must be where Cerberus is...

As to the Claws, The Brotherhood has layed claim to the Claws. We always keep one relic off our most powerful opponets, and one on one, Brutus was one of the best. So, Tharivol has one, and I'll need that one, to send into the imperial museum of Royal artifacts." Valanthe said.

Valanthe spoke to her in a language Mooshie had no chance of understanding, neither did Artimese. It was the secret language of Druids.

The Horse became the druidess.

"Mooshie, I must go to the forests for awhile. This woman will stay here and watch Artimese. i will return shortly. I trust her, you can trust her, and even talk to her, as you do me." Valanthe said.

She took one more glance at Artimese's wound, turned into a wolf, and loped off for the forest.

Posting your actions in response to ones you know OOC I am planning before I get the chance to even post is not nice. I too will refrain from participating until you cool your jets.

The origional intent of this thread was to make magic acceptable but everything has gotten out of hand. You need to stop the wanking or we might as well retire the thread.

I admit my character is powerful but I not only have worked it up there but I seldom do anything with him involving the usage of Power, just interactions. The only thing I have done is the magic duel in the past few months.

It has become painful to visit this Thread lately seeing what depths things have sunk. If things do not change I will take matters into my own hands and leave afterwards.

Warhaven, although your actions do not affect me directly, I agree with both Balrogga and Kaymiril. Your recent actions have destroyed the spirit of this place, and also set a bad example for others who might wish to learn here.

My character(s) may be powerful, but it is normally only hinted at, and rarely used. Even when I bring out Leviathan, he can only do so much.

I vist this thread because I, maybe foolishly, can still see some hope. However, with each passing day, that hope diminishes just a little bit more. Soon, it will be gone, and this thread will be essentially dead. You'll be left alone... we will leave you. It would be a great shame to leave the thread that gained me entry into the RPU...

At the same time it drew deeply on what happened in the past and allowed for accurate recording of history. All attacks directly affected the spirit of the target. Kaymirilians are sometimes difficult to be seen by foreigners.

By their very nature, they tend to prefer places where they blend in -- dark places. Places where humans might not look, but that another Kaymirilian (or almost any Drow) would look right away.

Some, however, seek out the light and are more easily seen.

This is quite frequently seen in the white-clad Aeromancers.

This was the case young Artemis found himself in. While the Geomancers sought out the shadows and browns of the forests more often than not, the Aeromancers stood in the open air, practicing their craft.

Closest and most visible to Artemis was a young male who was amusing himself by causing small weather abberations...humans called them "dust devils."

Each time he did so, he found out something he had missed the first time; from blatently obvious things that were right in the text, to writings etched in the margins, to even subtextual significance and hidden secrets. "Before I knew anything about magic I understood something about volcanoes, how when they erupt it is caused by a shift in the planet's crust, as it shifts, and the magma beneath the crust shoots out through any possible exits. Is that what you mean by forces?"
"Yes and no. That is raw elemental force that is used by the volcano and the erupting components. However, for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. That which uses energy in one form must release it in a similar or opposite form. For example...I take this rock, and throw it into that tree, and the reaction from the tree makes the rock bounce off. The volcano uses a lot of physical energy...but only some of it is released as physical energy. Sometimes, a volcano will not erupt for years, but will remain hot. These are rare, of course. It uses so much energy...but does not appear to give any off. This is, by both science and magick, impossible. The opposite reaction occurs when the energy is transformed into fashka that we can draw and channel."

While Chainer watched the hydromancer, the pyromancer seemed to burst into flame.

The blue-clad mage seemed to recognise this as a legitimate threat, and called a sheild of water to protect her.

As the attack -- a massive, shifting fireball -- launched itself at her, she froze the sheild into solid ice, leeching any warmth out of it. Behind her nearly-opaque shield, she gathered an attack, funnelling the heat stolen from the ice into it.

When the fire hit the ice, it turned back into water, and splashed down around the mage as the attack dissipated.

She launched the waterball at her opponent, and he brushed the main force of the scalding water away with a simple flame burst.

But the hydromancer had been clever. Stuck between her scalding waterball and a cushion of air was a shard of ice. It hit the pyromancer full on, drawing blood through the thick fabric.

An Aeromancer had been a "referee" of sorts for the battle.

"Okay, enough. Good job on both sides." He looked toward the pyromancer and made a guesture, at which the pyromancer left to fish the ice out of his skin and see if he was capable of healing the cut on his own. The aeromancer left as well, allowing the young hydromancer to step out and dry off.

"It is difficult to tell a person how to find their own magick. One school of thought, commonly taught here, holds that there are two kinds of energy. There is tupora fashka, which is the energy present within a person. It is this energy that could be called their life-force... use it too much, and you risk death. The other energy, which is all around us, is fashka. This energy can be drawn up to cast spells of varying strenght, with the amount used being directly linked to the strength of the spell. It is possible, and highly recommended by Kaymirilian mages, who introduced me to the system some years ago, to use as little tupora fashka as possible. Using too much can, in mild cases, render the person unable to cast for a few days. In extreme cases, death occurs. Concentrate on the energy around you. 'Listen' to the world. It will guide you."

Some how he could instinctively tell which energy patterns went with which form of magik. He tried to touch the energies but all slipped from him but spirit. Seeing as how this was the only one he could use he directed it upon the chair. At first he directed it underneath the chair and tried to float it but nothing would happen. He tried a few more times and still nothing. Then he thought back to what he had read and remembered that spirit does not affect the physical. He then tried to find what spirit is in the chair. When he found it he funneled some more energy into it. The chair became flexible and began to wiggle a little. He then commanded the chair to move and slowly but surly the chair began to walk. As more life entered it and it became more supple the chair moved quicker. Once the chair had stopped he began to re withdraw the life energy that he had funneled into the chair and return it to where he got it from.

IC: Teji again focuses on the chair and the surrounding air. He takes spirit energy from the ground and air surrounding the chair. He uses a thin stream of his own energy to direct it into the chair. It once again has life. This time less is put in just enough so that it moves without breaking. He then commands it through the stream to travel across the room. As soon as it has finished moving he begins to draw back out the energy and retrieve his own.

Loki finished the small book for the twentieth time and so he slipped it into his coat pocket and shut his eyes. The sun was still high in the sky and its rays were quite relaxing as they managed to get under the brim of his oversized hat. He sat for a couple hours just relaxing and enjoying the outdoors before he decided that he needed to do something. He got up with staff in hand and made his way into the tower, where he walked down the hallways on his way back to the library.

Loki wandered the down the long halls under he found the staircase. It seemed he was always walking up and down the stairs despite him hating it as due to his small stature, it is not the easiest or most pleasant thing to do. He began trudging his way up the long flights of stairs until he made it to his room. Once he entered, he looked around at the square room of cold, stone walls and decided he wanted to make it slightly more comfortable.

With the help of a little levitation magick, Loki was able to turn the bed, which was way to big and tall for him, on its side and move it out of the door into the hallway. Then on the three blanks walls (the fourth having a large opening to the balcony) he hung a small blank parchment. He then pulled out a little pearl from his pocket and set it in the corner; though as it reached the ground the entire room became colder and snow formed on the ground.

"Ahhh...." he said as he settled into his room... it almost reminded him of home now.

A black-clad boy had been sitting in a nearby tree, pretty much doing nothing.

With good reason. At just over fifty, the young Drow had more control over his magick than most creatures gained in a lifetime.

He recognised the flow of fashka around this new-comer...the sickly tendrils that tended to oscillate from Necromancers.

And Necromancy was highly forbidden in his land.

Even though the Tower was neutral...his master would very much prefer to keep an eye on this one.

The "young drow" may have been anything but.

From head to toe, he was clad in black, with nothing visible of him, not even his eyes.

Indeed...who was to say whether or not he was a he at all? Not even the voice, spelled into androgynity, gave any helpful clues.

Very little power could be felt eminating from him...indeed, he registered barely as an average living being. But there was a sense of danger radiating from him.

"To a true observer, it would be fairly obvious what I specialize in. Necromancy is not taught at this location. Should you truly wish to learn it, alot dos, leave here and do not look back."
