He woke at about five, and found himself alone. He knew why, but nothing gave him that feeling like waking up next to her. He sat up, and was promptly confronted by Rosie, who jumped on the bed,Ah, you're finally awake are you... she's been gone two hours
He scratched behind her ears, causing her to purr, before settling back in the bed with a book for an hour before getting up. Once he did, he started the day all over again

It was times like this that he was glad Rendelmar was so well equipped to deal with someone like him, who liked his training physical and up close. He spent the afternoon working out, using his magick to test himself to the limits

Today, it's all practice with the spell they've been learning about...it's a defense spell, very powerful, but very difficult when first learned.

He, as all the others did, found the spell challenging at first. In fact, it wasn't until towards the end of the class that he finally managed to make it live up to it's potential. Well... almost up to it's potential. About half way actually.

Vedt sent an attack at him, breaking through his shield. "You cannot be satisfied with halfway. Any of you. Until you have the shield stable, it can easily be broken through. If it is broken through in a combat setting, you will die."

As did he. By the end of the afternoon, he was exhausted. He took a little while to recuperate, taking some water in to replenish what he had lost. He went to the library after dinner to look up something related to Kajeenith. He didn't know what was making him do it, but he felt an overwhelming urge to.
