The area in front of them contracted, and a little Drow girl appeared (http://underdark.o-f.com/pictures/fdrow.jpg), arching an eyebrow.
"Two new students...how...odd. Right, so, what subjects are you here for?"
She looked to be much younger than either of them...but she sounded so...adult.
"Well, what do you teach here, and are you a teacher?" Klelt asked, "And do you mind if I remove my cloak?" As he asked, the bulge in back twitched.

"No," Ichiro replied, "I'm just arriving myself."
She flicked her left ear as a fly had landed on the tip. Her tail wavered behind her as she headed for the front door. Her black skirt rustling as she walked. The leaves crunched as her black shoes crushed them.
Ichiro looks at the Drow, "The Dragonlord Council sent me here to represent the island," she pulls out the letter Eragon had given her, "I was supposed to give this to whomever is in charge here."

It was only mid-morning.

IC: Ichiro puts the envelope back in her bag. She sits down on top of it.
"What is there to do around here?" she asks as she causes a ball of flame to appear in her palm and change into various colors.
OOC: Kaymiril, that link didn't work for me. I got an error message saying Internet Explorer couldn't find the page.
Klelt looked at the fireball, "We could wander the grounds." He suggested to the girl.

"Interesting," she says, "the only wings I saw back on the island are either covered in scales or feathers."

Hearing her quip about funny ideas, he twisted his head so he could see her somewhat better, and with a roguish grin said, "I didn't, but now that you mention it." Though his tone was light-hearted, he appreciated, and quite enjoyed what she was doing for him.

She returns to the untangling of his wings. Meanwhile, she had formed a little ball of coldfire above the tip of her tail. She had uncurled it from her leg and was holding it over her shoulder. She was using the light from the coldfire to light her workspace as her shadow was blocking the sunlight.

Piekrom']OOC: In response to the invader who was countering my coment on RJ there was mention of a scar on the dark one that I remember was cased by balefire.
OOC: Would you care to mention the book and page number this is in? Oh, and simply because I care to read Balrogga's RPs doesn't mean I'm an invader, it means I enjoy to point out fallacies. Oh, and I might join the thread. I have 'magic' in my nation, although I'd only really be entering to study the powers of others, and probably not learn very much. Oh, and its doubtful that the Dark One has a 'scar'. (Seeing as I'm a rabid RJ fan, I might as well give you a lecture). Balefire burns people out of the Age Lace, but the Dark One can affect the Age Lace (or Pattern, whatever), via 'bubbles of evil', as indicated in Book 4. This would incline us towards the probability that the Dark One is not woven into the Pattern, but exists indepedent of it, and, indeed, can even twist it from its original purpose...
Hell, I have nothing better to do.

IC: A pillar of black fire appeared, and whirled around madly, spinning faster and faster, until it tore itself to pieces. What was left, when the dust settled, was a strange man, wearing a simple, night-black cloak, his face hidden by a shadow, which, even more strangely, appeared to exist of its own accord. Slung across his back was a coal-black scythe, with an ebony blade, which was, however, glowing a soft blue. He smiled, and walked in. The power he had just used had cost him dearly in favours, but he would supplant Hierarch Kamil yet, and sit on the Council, yes, indeed.
He began to walk in, his eyes glowing with tiny pinpricks of light, as if the entire starry universe was contained within, yet the rest of his face not illuminated by this strange light. He smiled. His fingers were curled around a small talisman, which hung from his neck, via a simple leather string. He felt the empowering presence, and grinned inside.
He would divest these people of their knowledge, their power, and then rule the Order of the Scythe, yes, indeed. Of course, he knew little to nothing about them, but he felt he did not need to. Power was power, and how he obtained it was irrelevant. Of course, he would have to step carefully, at first, else others divest him of his power....

Eldrad's ears twitched slightly, causing Cougar to look at him,"What's wrong?"
"Someone... has just entered the Tower. In fact, four new people have. One is a Were-Dragon of some sorts... the others... are a mystery... but this new one. Interesting... very interesting"
"A threat?"
"Quite possibly. We must tread lightly. I can tell that they crave even more power... and to crave power in a school of learning is to invite retribution from the tutors"
James Cougar looked out at the field of battle where Tervic and Galvenor were still going at it,"Looking at this, I wouldn't want to invite Galvenor to attack me anyway... or if Renor got his hands on him"
"Me neither, on both counts. I should consult the Webway, but I cannot here"
"Wait until this match is finished. Then go and do it"
"I will, James. I will"
OOC: For all the new guys, I will provide a quick summary of my characters.
Eldrad: Eldar Farseer. His complete name has never been revealed. Six hundred years old and a master physker as well as a natural clairvoyant and necrovoyant (think medium, someone who can talk to spirits)
James Cougar: Colonel. Wields the White Flame, which is essentially pure Holy magick manifested as a, rather cunningly, as white fire. Thirty six standard years old, he has great potential, but also suffers from the traditional human failures of impatience (when compared to Drow and other long lived races).
Leviathan: God of Snake Eaters. Master of the Black Flame. It was he who gifted Cougar with the Black Flame intially, and then following the defeat of Kaelis Ra (The Devil essentially), it mutated to become the White Flame. His knowledge of the Black Flame is second to none. His domains are War, Peace and Psi.

No, fool! Remember the instructions! Keep thy ambition under control, less all fall to ruin. Serenity, peace, and purity of will are thy path to power!
He stood there, and, moving as silently as a ghost, let a faint trickle of power tinge his voice, so that he would not go unnoticed.
"Greetings, denizens of this Tower! I come to learn, to study, and to grow! If there is teaching to be had, I humbly request it!"
His voice was not unpleasant, nor was it sibiliant, they way one would expect after seeing him for the first time. It had a rich, vibrating timbre, and was deep, although not exceptionally so.
He hoisted his scythe, glowing with blue, soul-blue, and sliced the ground, the area around the scythe solidifiying, and the obsidian darkness turning into a neutral, foggy grey.
"I surrender my weapon, and swear that I shall harm none within! Indeed, I seek only knowledge... that was true enough. Knowledge was power, after all. Nothing he said must be a lie, he remembered that, although from where, he could not say..., learning, and to teach others of what few skills I have!
Saying thus, he sat down, and folded his legs, patiently awaiting someone to meet him...

There was a slight 'pop', as if someone had pulled a cork from a bottle, before a man walked round the corner, indeed with a bottle in his hand. He was tall, about six foot three, strongly built. His face was chiselled, his lines clean. His long black hair cascaded down his back, but was tied back into a single tail. He had recently experimented with dreadlocks, but had since decided that they didn't suit him. He wore armour that covered his torso, his arms and legs. It looked strong, but light. Indeed it was, for it was mithril, but not any mithril. No, mithril infused with magick, which explained it's distinct black as opposed to normal silver. At his side, he carried two blades, both the same length, tied round his middle. He looked as if he was a warrior by nature, but he also seemed to pulse with power with every step he took. His eyes were a dark green, his skin a light tan. In his right hand, he carried a bottle of Tangleberry Twist, and was pouring a cup of it for his friend.
Walking besides him was another man, who looked younger than him, and seemed to be carrying very little on him. He was not a mage, that much was obvious from his dress. He too had black hair, but it was short and spiked up, more of a fashion statement than anything else. His eyes were also green, but much more vivid, as if they could pierce your soul. He carried himself with an easy grace, but under his clothes, it could be seen his muscles were lean and taut, able to react in an instant to any threat. Someone who didn't know these two might have thought they were father and son. He was holding the cup, and seemed to be talking with the other man,"WHat did you say this stuff was called again?"
"Tangleberry Twist. It's the latest batch, I added some extra flavour on the last one"
The younger man took a swill, and smacked his lips,"Hmmm... you're right, it is different. Have you sent the batch to Arianna and Gypsy yet?"
"No, not yet. The rest of it is still maturing downstairs"
"I can't believe you turned the alchemist's into a brewery"
"Oh please, alchemy doesn't work. Besides, they built that extra wing, didn't they. They didn't need the old place, so I took it"
"Oh yeah, right Leviathan, as if"
"Shut up, Raven."
They laughed, as if common companions, before Leviathan saw the newcomer, and his eyes narrowed. He motioned to Raven, who looked over as well. Leviathan set the bottle of Tangleberry Twist down on the bench, making sure to push the cork back in. The scythe was really the thing that had caught his attention... only one person he knew carried that sort of weapon, and she hadn't been to the Tower in so long. Then again, Death was normally busy. Not a surprise really. Leviathan looked at the man,"Who are you? I heard your greeting, but thought someone would have responded."

"Ah, I do not know the customs of this place, and I found it best to remain outside, lest I offend someone. I am the Scythe of Souls, leader of the elite Scythe-Wielder caste in the Order of the Scythe, and second only to the Council themselves. I have, however, recently discovered several... disturbing things, and wish to investigate, and learn about, other powers, in order to confirm many of these disturbing things. Of course, I also wish to learn this... 'magic' many people speak of, and discover its roots. This is secondary to my goal of clearing away the fog to reveal the truth, but knowledge is something all should seek."
He looked up plaintively, moving strangely, as if he was used to carrying a different weight. "If it is allowed, may I retain my weapon? I feel rather... unbalanced without it."
EDIT: OOC: Yeah, I've read through the first 200-odd pages, or so. I'm familiar with quite a few characters.

"Magic, as you say it, is parlour tricks. Magick is what you come here to seek ((I know, the pronounciation is the same, but it helps))... your cause appears honourable... but you startled me with the scythe itself. It is a weapon commonly associated with Death. Many here have had dealings with her ((yes, it is a her in this storyline)), and as such fear that weapon."
Leviathan looked over the man, trying to read him,"You may retain your weapon for the time being... but I must warn you, should you attack others, you will be disciplined. This is a school of learning, not combat. As for the magick you wish to learn, I am not the person from whom you can learn. You wish to see past the fog? That is an interesting concept. Knowledge is what we all seek..."
But I suspect you are not telling me the whole truth... we shall see

As he sees it disappear in the area and then reappear the other side as it hit the wall, he is convinced that the anti-magik is not there to begin with, but rather that it was just a trick.

"Dead men tell no tales, especially when their soul is bonded to another." Kajeenith said with an air of menace.
Without another word, the man left Kamigawa, the world of the spirits. One thing nagged him though, for as he left, Kajeenith spoke again, only as if to another.
"I shall destroy them my Leige, Peace cannot last forever, such is the fate of all nations." Kajeenith had said, kneeling to his own image.

I've finished the entire series (Not counting KoD, but I prefer to purchase from local bookstores, rather than get it two weeks earlier, and get it from overseas) just a week ago. Besides, in RJ's books, balefire is the ultimate weapon. However, this is not RJ's books. You can't automatically assume your uberspell is the best, no matter what. As I (rightly) remember, cuendillar can counter balefire, so it isn't unstoppable.

She turns and asks, "You coming or what?"
Klelt chuckled, "Lead on." He said catching up to the charming Ichiro.

She says, over her shoulder, "Best keep your eyes above my waist level."
She looks around. The place is filled with stairs going both up and down and numerous doors.
She asks, "Where to first?"
His eyes had left her captivating and hypnotic tail, and travelled up to her beautiful face.
"How about we start on the right side and work our way down the corridor?" He suggested

She sits down and takes off her shoes.
"That clacking was starting to get annoying," she explains as she puts the shoes in her bag.
She stands up and straightens her skirt. She moves forward, her stocking feet making barely a whisper of sound against the stone floor.
"After you," Ichiro says, picking up her bag and gesturing Klelt foward, "that way I know where your eyes are."
"Alright." He said as he lead the way. Stopping at the first door, he opened it and peered in. It was a empty class room.

Klelt caught her, and in a quite instinctive reaction, his wings closed around them. Ichiro was caught between a Klelt and a soft place.

She untangles herself from his wings and stands up. She then looks down and tucks her blouse back in.
She asks, when she's finished, "So, where to now?"
Klelt got up himself and brushed himself off. "We could continue exploring, or perhaps try and find the courtyard?" He suggested as he stretched out his tail, as it'd been somewhat squished.

OOC:
The very fact you recognized the disappearance of the Fireball spell would reaffirm the existence of the Anti-Magic spell. Read what it says about the Ring of Delusion in the link I provided if you have questions.
Also, how are you going to probe an Anti-Magic spell without using magic? The magic would be terminated by the Anti-Magic spell resulting in no reading. Not finding anything using a magical researching method would yield the same results that searching successfully for something that was not there would.
The description states the person under the curse (yes, this would be considered a curse) would unconsciously use any means they possess to produce the result they expect. This means if you have Magical items, you would use them unconsciously. You would not realize you were doing this; you would be doing it to support the delusion that the Anti-Magic Field was still operational. In the case of the Fireball, you would either dispel it, or hallucinate its disappearance. Since you stated it did disappear, it probably never did reappear.
Also, the disappearance of a spell in an Anti-Magic Area would not make it seem like the spell was not operational and give you any reason to think it was not there. The spell affects your own perceptions. The use of external stimuli would not make any difference because your mind would provide what the spell makes it believe.
Rings (http://hjem.get2net.dk/adad/magicitems/dmg/rings.htm)
Ring of Delusion
A delusion ring convinces the wearer that it is some other sort of ring-whatever sort the wearer really desires. The wearer will be completely convinced that the ring is actually one with other magical properties, and he will unconsciously use his abilities of any sort (including those of other magical items available) to produce a result commensurate with the supposed properties of the delusion ring. The DM determines how successful the self-delusion is, as well as how observers are affected and what they will observe. The ring can be removed at any time.
IC:
Galvenor watched Tervic as he cast a Fireball. The Fireball shot across the arena to disappear into the Anti-Magic Barrier at the edge. With each casting, he was getting a clearer picture of how Tervic’s peculiar style of casting worked down to an intricate level. He could already identify several possible loose threads to use but he wanted to be sure before he acted. He needed to see more spell casting so he decided to give him something to cast at.
Across the Arena a mist formed. The darkness of the mist was lit from within as the energies fro the Conjuration/Summoning spell transferred the target into the Arena. A bizarre ghostly creature with multiple tentacles emerged from the mist as it dissipated. The Magic Eater (Yes, your spells will feed it) looked around the Arena. It sees the only person in the Arena and begins to close with it.
As it approaches Tervic, it stops periodically to eat the Spirit Enchantments put down by Tervic earlier. Tervic can tell his spells are being dispelled in some sort of way.
Galvenor cast another Conjuration/Summoning spell.
Again the mists formed, bringing forth a light blue nearly transparent creature. The creature appeared to be some sort of herd creature but with a long snout. The snout ended with a star shaped protuberance at the end. It started to sniff about the area, moving closer to Tervic. The Disenchanter sniffed and snuffed about his area.
OOC:
Galvenor figures you would have to fight the Magic eater due to it’s aggression levels. You would probably need to cast a spell or two at it before you would realize it devoured the spells. At that point you would stop casting spells and pull out your weapon to safely hack it to pieces. At this point you would attract the attention of the Disenchanter. Disenchanters eat the enchantments on items. That is the only way it can harm anyone.

The Magic Eater continues to devour the energy binding the web together as it advanced upon Tervic. The released Spirit energy returns to it's elemental plane or origin since there is no longer any binding holding it on this plane.
Galvenor watched as Tervic made the alteration to his network. This was the same as casting a spell because he was manipulating the energies in the same way. Galvenor made several additional mental notes and continued watching.

Piekrom']OOC: Ok so the magik eater can only be killed by a blade right but the rules stated that we are not alowed to use weapons right. Just getting a clarification.
The rules were stated in an earlier post (that was suprisingly quite a ways back):
These will be the rules for this duel.
First, neither combatant will kill the other.
Second, this is a magickal battle only. There will be no physical attacks.
Third, whatever damage is done stays inside this arena. If Mith or myself is unable to repair what damage is done, the victory will be announced nul and void.
This is to be a clean fight. Any foul play will result in the immediate termination of the cheater.
That is all.
Opponents, pay your respects...and begin.
I used Magic to summon a creature or two, such as you have been doing with your Elements. You can do whatever you wish to the creature as long as you do not directly attack me physiclly. The same goes for me.
The Magic Eater (you most likely would not know what it is) can be killed with physical attacks but normal non-magical weaponry might not harm it because of it's partially phased state. (In D&D terms, you need a magical weapon to strike it.) It is currently 10 meters away and charging towards you.
It looks fearsome. It looks nasty. It looks like a plate of calamari gone crazy.
Honestly in this situation I would try to either zap it with something or put up a sheild. Unfortunately it would feed off the casting of either spell, causing it to get meaner and nastier while destroying the spell. Once I realized spells would not work against it I would try physical weapons. This is just the way I would try to take care of the creature, not knowing what it was.
I know it is nasty, that is why I summoned it. Between it and the Disenchanter (another critter you might not know about), I figured something nasty would happen to your items or to your spell casting ability. I wanted to see you cast spells so I could find your particular weakness so I am testing you.
Please note these creatures are native to the worlds of Dungeons and Dragons, not RJ's Ring of Fire. That is why I am saying you would most likely not know what they are.

The Magic Eater can automatically detect magic much like the Disenchanter. They both feed off Eldritch Energies so they would be able to detect it and tell it for what it is. If you cast a spell it would stop it's charge to feed on it, then start towards you again. If you keep casting, you can keep feeding it. You will do two things:
1. Keep it away from you for the time being
2. Make it bigger as it feeds off your spells, making it harder to kill with your weapons later.
Realisticlly a couple spells would be logical to assume you would understand what is happening but beyond that it might be getting too big for you to fight in the time you would have before the Disenchanter would get involved. The battle would last longer because of the increased strength of the critter. It would give you time to show off with your blade though.... hehehe.
I'll RP the critters as they would react according to the situation. To keep things from dog-piling upon you, Galvenor will remain watching while we deal with these little critters.
It would only be fair that way.

Tevric creates a black hole in between himself and the creature bringing it into full existence and then removing all magik from it making it be like any black hole in the universe. The creature stops its charge and seems to wave back and forth as Tervic casts his spell. The energies from the spell which was designed to create a black hole (I hope you are not serious about a real black hole) were instead completely absorbed by the creature. Its tentacles quivered with excitement as the magic surged through its being. It seemed to get a little larger.
The creature flowed towards Tervic again.
OOC: I assume Black Hole is a name of a spell like effect and not a reference toward the real astronomical object. If one were on a planet for only a few moments it would destroy everything here, even a pin-hole sized one.

Balrogga
26-10-2005, 04:27
To qualify to be a black hole it would have to be dense enough to restrict light from being emitted. The gravitational field of a pin hole sized object would be enough to instantly destroy several miles as well as cause extreme atmospheric catastrophic disturbances.
I run a FT nation that regularlly uses gravity weapons and other technologies and I have extensively researched these. You don't want to get any size singularity even remotely close to the gravitational well of an inhabited planet. It would most certainly destroy the caster because you could not get far enough away from it before you were compressed smaller than a Gluon. There is not a way to have a lesser strength black hole.
When you stated the black hole the first time I thought you were referring to a teleportation ring or sphere of anhilation.
Let's get back to the game.

Piekrom']ok so then it is probable more like brown hole. I wanted something that was extreamly dense but not as strong as a black hole.
There is nothing like that in existance. A Black Hole gets it's name from the fact the gravity of a star exceeds the limit needed for light to escape. The light is not allowed to escape from the superdense star. To create one, you need to take a star about 10 to 15 times larger than our own and then trigger a Super Nova.

OOC: Just to clarify. Black holes have never been discovered, the theory of black holes fits in well with our theory of the universe.
The theory is that a huge star has come to the end of it's life span, and collapsed in upon itself after forming a red giant etc.
This now-dead star has such high gravity per metre cubed that anything that comes within it's radius of affect if sucked in and plastered over the surface.
These 'black holes' can even attract light rays, which is nearly impossible to do, as light rays conatin so little mass.
One way to show how strong these black holes are theorised to be, is that if I were to be put upon the surface of one, I would be ripped apart down to my constituent quarks and leptons, probably even further, and my remains would be spread out over the entirety of the spherical object, so you can imagine just how thin I would be, especially when you consider that these black holes could be about the size of our Earth.
IC: Artemis had never seen any of the amazing things going on in the duel. Apart from maybe the throwing dagger, he had hunted with it as a young boy.

Klelt was examining the wide assortment of foods and began filling the plate with normal foods, like rice and ribs, somewhat exotic foods, like calamari and chocolate coated roaches, and really exotic foods, things that looked like eyes, and a number of other commestibles.
Finding a large bottle of tobasco sauce he wonders what it would be like to drink, so he transfers the contents into a goblet and heads to join Ichiro at the table.
Looking up when she noticed Klelt sitting at the table with her, Ichiro uses the side of one of her hands to wipe a little dab of cocktail sauce from the side of her mouth. Not wanting to even let that little bit go to waste, she wipes it off with a piece of calamari that she then pops into her mouth. She looks at what he has picked.
Swallowing, she says, "You're not going to get anything to eat?"

She leans over and sniffs the stuff Klelt has in his goblet.
"Smells like," she says, "the sauce Lleld likes to use when she does her practical joke of making other's meals back at the Dragonskeep extra spicy."
She sits back and smiles as she recalls the last time Lleld did it to her. She reaches over and pulls two canteens of water from her bag.
She hands one to Klelt and says, "This water should relieve the 'burning' sensation in your mouth. Plain wheat bread also helps."
She opens the other canteen and takes a gulp to wash down the calamari she had eaten so far.

OOC: That is not fair i was not attacking him I was attacking the creature that he created. If you read his posts that is the only way to get rid of the summoned creature. so what am I suposed to do huh. Would it have been any different if I through it with magik instead of my hand. no they would still be doing the exact same thing. If you are saying this that means my first attack disqualified me.
OOC: Fair? Fair?! When did 'fair' come into a magical duel. He said no physical attacks. Logic says you could've summoned your own creature, and used that to combat it. If you try to blatantly flout the rules, because you lack the ability counter a simple creature, then you deserve to lose.
It's like saying to a coach, while playing basketball "Well, the rock I just picked up and threw went through the hoop, so it must be a goal! No, the rules are that a basketball must go through the hoop, not a rock. I mean, sure, they'd still be doing exactly the same thing (going through the hoop), but that's not what the rules state. If you don't like the rules, don't whine like a spoilt brat, go away.
The same applies here. A magical attack must be used, not a physical one. I mean, for goddsake, if you'd conjured a knife, beat a magic-eater with an antimagic field, simply moved away from it, and ran; waiting until his conjuration ran out; hell, there are literally hundreds of things you could've done. Instead, you proved your intellectual inadequacy, and broke the rules, both at once!
IC: ....meanwhile, a shadowy figure watched, from beyond the veil of mists. "My, my. He has gone far. Perhaps we had better... deal with him, before he becomes an annoyance. Sh'veil!"

Did you not notice that I did not turn to stone as a result of the sun? Think if I was like any of the trolls that you might have met I would be stone by now. The reason being that before any of these dangerous members are expelled to these planets through our warp gates we implant a device that contains asphinx poison that would be triggered with sunlight to give all other planetary creatures in were we send them a chance to escape them. *Elemental plane of Time.*
Ages had passed since he stepped into the temporal beam that banished the space bubble. 5,000 more years bassed in the second he pulled his counciousness together and reentered his body. This sandstorm was intense, wait, sandstorm, years passing in a fraction of a second? where was he? He was here, but where was here?
"Darkness of my heart, Darkness of my soul, tell me, oh tell me please where I am." Kajeenith asked of himself.
Kajeenith's features twisted, his eyes grew frightningly dim, his mouth twisted into an evil grin.
"My most faithful of followers, you are on the plane of Time. come, we must go, we have things to do." This Mad Kajeenith said.
Kajeenith resummed his normal appearence, and started walking, beckoned, by mysterious feelings. He looked at the plane. It appeared as a massive sandstorm, swirling downward like sands through an hourglass, he followed the storm winds. Each grain of sand was a single second of time. It seemed as though each grain of sand would collide with every other, yet would only ever touch the second that came before it, and the second that came after it. It was Extreme Chaos tempered by Extreme Law. It boggled even Kajeenith's mind. Such things remained better off unthought of. It was a perfect system if left to itself, but who was Kajeenith to leave things alone?
Kajeenith began to cause Chaos accross the Time/space continuum, colliding this second with that second, destroying this second of time, Causing things to happen that never would have happened in the first place.
Yet ever still he drew closer to his destination.

She then turns to the troll and courtsies welcome, "Nice to meet you. I'm Ichiro Suziki," she glares at Klelt, "back home the trolls and dwarves got along great. In fact, the greatest smithshop is run by a troll and a dwarf working together."

The man was quite physical, and fully alive. The spirits, were just that, spirits. The swirled and jumped around him, almost playfully.
"I am sorry if I startled you good sir, I come from a land far away seeking to learn about the world outside my own, and thus here I am, at the White Tower. Allow me to introduce myself, my name, is Ypsa, and I am a freind of the Elemental Spirits, such as the ones swirling about me." Ypsa said.
While Ypsa gave no physical indication of any lies, any who could detect them, knew he was flat out lying about his name.

Now that the duel was over, Artemis wanted to continue with his training. He quickly walked away, and after a while of training with a longbow out in the woods, he came back, and looked around for some Geomancer to teach him again.
Already he had almost perfected his way of calming down small animals, like birds and the like.
The only geomancer really qualified to teach anything at the Tower was currently in conversation with what could only be his superior.
Her hands were gloved, and she was completely cloaked in brown robes. A mask was over her face so that all anyone could see of her were her eyes, brown like her robes.

"I am the Feind Pisces. Now Die." Pisces Feind said.
Three of his Tentacles Wavered. The Energy of the White Tower Drew away from all the Magi Within. Renor would be unable to Rely upon any enrgy save his own.

"Was that ultima?" Pisces feind asked of no one
Pisces feind had Limited dark Energy, three uses to be exact, and he used one on the Ultima spark, Draining it Away.
Pisces feind thought quickly. The best way to defeat a mage without Physical means was to take his Energy. One part had already been taken care of. Teleporting and Portals were costly. A Psy Dagger Flew From All Directions. Pisces Feind Teleported Away with it, and Reappeared before The daggers would Strike, Seconds Before, and Brought down a Psy Greatsword upon Renor, and used Osmosis upon Renor to steal Renor's Energy to make up for his own loss.

He then sets it on the ground and all the light disappears. He picks it up once more and light flows through it once more. "As you see the stone reacted to my touch. The strength of the light describes the potential for wielding magik. The stone glowed the brightest with me so I was selected by the planetary council to represent all the wood Elves Dwarfs and Trolls on the planet here at the white tower. As far as there being a large mount of bad Trolls that is a falsity. The only reason it might seem that way is because we exiled the particularly bad ones who also happened to be very dumb. We tried to send them to undeveloped planets for utmost safety of the inhabitants’ culture. Unfortunately there are many times lived into the iron age of a planet. That is why there are all these myths of bad Trolls. We stopped this practice over 2000 years ago, but it is too late to change what has been done.
