I'm sure we'll be attacked for no good reason and our organizations destroyed or at least they'll attempt that and realize that without us, their organization has no 'archnemisis' and will eventually disband and abandon the GASN like so many other organizations like the MAP or LSTN or MMR.

My English phrasing has always been poor with an odd choice of words. So a better way of saying what I mean is that I don't want the entire GASN dropping in on a CA operation. Maybe two GASN and two CA, then we close as soon as possible to avoid more people jumping in and then fight it out in that conflict.

Honestly, I'd rather not fight. I have a firm peace between me and Blackhelm, and would like to keep it. Hell, i've been buying oil from him, so it's in my interest that I not fight him. I have nothing to gain from a war, and only to lose, as does Blackhelm. Why fight a war that would only be unprofitable? So no, Blackhelm, you have nothing to fear from me right now. If you attack my allies though, you're shooting yourself since I can't ignore that. Thats why I said, suck up your pride from your loss at Four Corners, and take my money from oil. That way, you turn a profit, I turn a profit, and everyone's happy. Hell, if you get my tag, when my population for my puppet is large enough, they'll join this organization, assuming you make it GASN friendly, or at least indifferent towards them.

I was looking for trouble, so I posted something to the effect "Your Empressa will make a fine addition to my harem, and I'll take that money too. I am sending my fleet to pick them up, they should arrive in four days". Off goes my fleet.

Naturally, a few nations give me a stern lecturing, but figure I am bluffing because their nations are so much bigger than mine. Scandivans wins the suitor contest. They send their king to Nova Aquaria in a private yacht.

I send a telegram to Nova Aquaria asking for permission to sack their capital looking for loot and the Empressa. I get the thumbs up.

Nova Aquaria then decides to throw a royal ball in their capital, and invites all sorts of world leaders to attend...

So, I have my fleet about to show up on the doorstep of Nova Aquaria's capital. Scandivans king is about to arrive in the same city via yacht. Meanwhile, important people from Camgo, Maraque, British Londonium, Cotenshire, The Black Agents, Duckquackmuse, and Dracum Imperium are already in the city.

So, I have a dilemma. On one hand, my small nation may never again have the opportunity to cause mayhem on such a large scale. On the other hand, messing with all those people would likely result in hordes of armies descending on my nation.

Should I go down in a blaze of glory or do the smart thing and move along?

Unless you plan on fighting those people, causing wonton mayhem and destruction En Masse is not a good thing.

If you do plan on fighting them at this particular time, sure, blow the whole place up.

But the odd thing is, that this is the closest youve come to causing mass destruction with a handful of men.

Roughly a platoon's worth of men was all I needed to wreck 'The Husk' in RFF and a 12 square mile airbase...

Most likely, if you really try, you can 'force' them into a worse situation and cause more damage than simply sitting on your hands hoping they do something silly...

But rather the source, the Griffencrest Corporation and family, along with a regime change in Blackhelm Confederacy.

The game is called Empire Deluxe. It is a really old game that was included for free with some other game I bought.

It doesn't have jungle, but it does have trees. I'll update it to have lots more. It also allows me to make the units different colors and such.

Very nice, I like it, alot

It is really easy to add stuff in. If you want more jungle, cities, air force bases, or your tank and infantry divisions added somewhere, just say so. Feel free to link to that image.

I'll try to read other people's posts later to add their stuff in also. I can't recall of the top of my head where everyone is.

OOC: The forces coming at Blackhelm don't seem so tough to me. I expect once we rally our forces, they will be repelled with ease.

Since they do outnumber us, I recommend you not be so lax in enforcing common sense in their role-play. Allowing them to do things like Houdini'ing their fleets approaching gives them a huge advantage.

Anyway, I am about to start launching air strikes on some of these enemy fleets. Feel free to join me.Then obviously you know nothing of the force we sent. I don't think we could have sent a more powerful force.

I suggest taking a look at Emporer Pudu's storefront (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=435395). His ship descriptions list how many crew each type of ship requires, what weapons they have, etc.

Then look at his package deals to get an idea of what sort of ratios you should have of each type of ship.

Heating up a cold war doesn't mean you have to invade them. Just declaring war on them heats up the cold war. And when you launch military aircraft against them, that will heat it up even more. So yeah, you DID heat it up.

The US never invaded or declared war upon the Soviet Union so their cold war stayed a cold war. I bet if either side declared war upon the other, the Cold War would have heated up quite a bit for several years until a time in which one would have invaded the other.

GASN stands for Global Alliance of Sovereign Nations.

To join, you apply in the Alliance's thread, to declare war, its considered polite to consult the person you want to declare war to, and then make a thread.

OOC: It is mentioned somewhere in the stickies, but I am too lazy to provide a link. I wouldn't worry. That rule doesn't really apply to the circumstances. In my observations, it seems that participating in the invasion of a nation is akin to invited that nation and their allies to attack you in turn. Saying, "Hey, I'm invading you. WTF? Why are your allies attacking me?" doesn't make sense. In the simplest terms, I would say the nations attacking BC waived their right to refuse attacks by CA.

If the future, I suggest always TG'ing your opponent before invading them. Most people don't, which is a shame. Role-plays always tend to be better when everyone is a willing participant.

I think Wanderjar is in the right on this. In fact, I'm cutting all IC and OOC support to Maldorians. He's on his own as far as I'm concerned... in fact, if it wasn't for the fact that my government type and RP style are pretty fascist, I'd be petitioning the GASN for membership right about now...

Griffincrest Oil Incorporated has been undergoing a series of conflicts which it attempted to gain oil and land, and was defeated in an area known as the Four Corners by a group of nations forming the GASN. In response to this, I hope to make an alliance of nations with a slightly more sinister tint. Hopefully, we can create a cold waresque scenario, with GASN vs. CA fighting numerous times. So come on folks, sign up.

The Corporate Alliance (CA) is an alliance meant to restore balance to the world order. Previously the GASN was the only major alliance existing outside the UN and thus nations left out of the GASN could only watch as their ambitions were stymied. The CA intends to change this, by providing another option for nations that want to join an alliance. If your nation has been constricted by the GASN, or if you want the protection of a major alliance, you should join the CA to help counter the intentions of the GASN.

CA Charter

The CA was created by the Griffencrest Corporation as an alliance to counter the scheming of the GASN.

1st Chapter:

1) All members must render assistance to any member that has been attacked or invaded by a nation not in the CA.
2) All members must be required to assist other members in any offensive that they require help.
3) Every single member must be prepared to commit forces around the world to counter the GASN.
4) Any two members may not declare war on each other, if this happens it will result in temporary expulsion from the CA, until the conflict is resolved.
5) A security council will be created to decide how and where to counter the GASN.
6) Must be willing to use chemical and biological weaponry. Nuclear weapons will only be used when necessary.

2nd Chapter:

1) All members shall open trade with all other members, free of tariffs.
2) Members are expected to respect the laws other members have regarding trade.

Requirements for Membership:

A. The willingness to send forces around the globe to combat the GASN.
B. A military force large and powerful enough to fight in large-scale wars.
C. Must not already be in the GASN, obviously, and must be willing to combat GASN nations.

Security Council

The Security Council will be voted on every month, and will decide whether or not to directly assault GASN assests and things like that.

Closing Statement:

The CA has been made as a balance against the GASN, so that the rights of nations outside the GASN shall be upheld.

The Emperor usually doesn't pay much attention to alliances other than those that the Xeraphian Empire are a part of. However, he was amused at your statement that GASN was the ONLY major alliance outside of the UN and that the CA was seeking to restore a balance so we "stymied" nations could have a shot at growing up to be big boys and girls.

Mr. Griffincrest, the Empire of Xeraph ALONE is larger than CA's nations combined. Add to that the fact that Xeraph is co-founder of GAPTS (Grand Alliance of Peace Through Strength), an alliance of nations whose minimum population is two billion, and which alliance currently has about twenty member-nations, we find your statement somewhat.......uninformed.

The Xeraphian Empire also has several members of this alliance as allies of Xeraph, whose reps are presently residing in one of the Royal Cities of Xeraph as ambassadors. I do believe that the Blackhelm Confederacy is one of those nations.

Add to this mix the little-known fact that GAPTS and GASN are allied alliances, and you can see that there is at least ONE other major alliance outside of the UN. I would imagine that if you looked hard enough, you'd probably find a couple more, such as the WWA (Westwood Alliance).

And why do you not wholly approve of us? We have no ulterior motives concerning GASN. If there's anything you want to know about us either as an alliance or individually, let us know. A GASN/GAPTS alliance is big...really big. With the recent development of AMF and company becoming involved with GASN, the possibilities are astounding. Almost all of the GAPTS members are FT to one extent or another, including Xeraph. My stance on that is that whatever tech is being used in any given thread, that's the tech everybody uses. I wouldn't use my space fleet in an MT thread. I might use it within my own borders, but not otherwise.

Suggestion: at some point in the future, perhaps a thread pertaining to a GASN/GAPTS Summit. It could be noted that an alliance was legally, if hastily, entered into by both parties in a time of upheavel, and the time has come....etc...blah, blah, blah. Call it The G2S.....

[Regarding Laquasa Isle. I seriously suggest no one RP with him for the time being, simply because he does not know how to. He provoked a war with British Londinium, well aware that doing so would result in E.V.I.L. invading him. I personally warned him of this, if he attacked BL, we would dog pile him. Well, he tried to cover up the attack with a really shitty post about terrorists with pipe bombs blowing up a skyscraper, but we invaded him anyways. Apparently someone abused their OOC access to the Katana's development thread and gave BC a page claiming they had it IC.

Technically it's not in violation of Copyright laws if there were no Copyrights to begin with, but I do see your point.

Furthermore, I was unaware of BC's intents to use those designs in that way.

Well, what Dephire did violated the general rules of NS, not any copyright laws perse... but it was still not a nice thing to do. What he was doing could be summed up as espionage godmodding - he went right from finding somthing existed OOCly to having possession of the design ICly, skipping any spying threads or anything.

Well, I wasn't aware of BC's intentions AT ALL.
I, for one, thought he was going to try and alter the plans and submit his own creation.
If I had known that he would do what has been implied, then I wouldn't of just blindly given him those designs.
So, I'm sorry everyone. Truly I am sorry.

hmmm, I guess I'll have to post a few retractions to my stipulations on who could have legitamately given BC those plans...

And chances are BC is a little sore about this, but he seems to be coping quite well...

On that note, depending how radical of changes you're willing to make, I'm in the process of designing a few gyrojet weapons that should go on the market in a week or so. An assault rifle, probably, and a 13mm sniper weapon. That and the powered version of the Fumetsu na Heishi (I think that's the right one...) should be released around the same time.

Eh, not particularly a fan of the CA (no offense) but your money is as good as anyone elses, and I don't really recall seeing any of you (mis)using PRA bioweapons in the field, so as long as I don't have to get involved in your politics, I'll happily keep shipping weapons to you. Although it would be nice to get a contract with the GASN as well.... ;)

Oh, and Leaf, your order on PRA should be confirmed shortly. Just need to come up with a good figure.
