Where everyone compliments everyone else, reasonable debate is forbidden, and sarcasm of beyond a certain corrosiveness level is tantamount to blasphemy. If you want real debate, check out the United Nations Forum. UNers, like their counterparts in the General Assembly and Security Council, are superb debaters, even if they do discuss issues that have little bearing on real life.
