Unfortunately, the only type of defense against that is sattelite based weapons to disable the missile (though that depends on how far in tech you are going). Other than that, the best defense is to build your own and aim them at him. Good ol' MAD.

The system is contained in a 16-section container, which houses 15 missiles, along with a small command and control receiver/transmitter housed in the additional section. The system, which measures four feet wide, four feet long, and five feet tall; is air-deployable by C-130 or any other aircraft in relative size, such as the DC-9, or even the C-5 Galaxy. It is also deployable by HMMWV or basic truck, for quick, strategic deployment directly onto the battlefield. The C2 system inside the box allows for target acquisition up to and including ten miles, using millimeter wave radar scanners and friend/foe acquisition. Within the C2 compartment also resides the power system, which allows the system to operate for up to three weeks under self-operation. The battery system is easy to change, taking about three minutes. Back-blast follows the missile out the front of the launcher so there's no impact on any transport vehicle. The rocket system is "soft launch," meaning that the rocket doesn't experience high G's as would an artillery shell traveling at high speed. There's just enough to get the missile out of the box and move it forward, at which point the missile’s own motor takes over. This also enables the system to engage targets in all 360 degrees. The NLOS-LS incorporates two different missile types, the Precision Attack Missile (PAM) and the Loitering Attack Missile (LAM). The PAM travels at high speed for minimal time to target or to reach maximum range. It has a variable thrust motor, an uncooled IR laser seeker, GPS guidance, and a multi-mode warhead. It can be utilized for both hard and soft targets. The LAM carries a laser detection and ranging (LADAR) seeker, a turbojet motor, and wings that extend on launch. The missile has a 70-kilometer range with a 30-minute loiter time. It is able to loiter over targets of interest, do automatic target recognition and attack targets on its own, but is also able to be controlled by remote from designated operators. Both missiles are equipped with an onboard datalink, which allows them to be redirected or receive target updates on the fly. The system, fully loaded, weighs just under one ton.

Counter Rocket Artillery Mortar (CRAM) / Counter Armor and Personnel (CAP) System

Under close scrutiny, the SCAF has developed an effective measure to counter the ever-present threats of rockets, artillery, and mortars. The Counter Rocket Artillery Mortar (CRAM) System, which takes much of its success from the Phalanx CIWS, is a small, tactically deployable “Gatling” system, that locates enemy launched rounds and effectively engages these rounds, destroying them in mid-flight. The weapon system fires 12.7mm (.50 calibre) rounds at a rate of 1,500 RPM. The CRAM utilizes its own Mortar Tracking System (MRT), which can identify and track rocket, artillery, and mortar rounds, locate the angle and direction of flight, compute the threat of the projectile, compose a firing solution, and fire all within three seconds. This means that from the time the projectile is fired, the system can identify it, track its trajectory, compute the angle and direction of flight (in order to compensate for wind, distance, and lead), decide the location of impact and whether it will impact or send debris within a preprogrammed area of friendly territory, and fire, all within the initial three seconds. The system is exclusively designed for defense purposes on a perimeter, and therefore is not capable of being air-dropped. The system contains a 1,200-round drum for ammunition.
CRAM: $75,000
In addition to the CRAM, the SCAF has also developed the Counter Armor and Personnel (CAP) System, which performs as an automated, defensive system against ground targets. The CAP utilizes millimeter wave radar to find available targets up to five hundred meters in a 360-degree radius. The system also uses friend/foe recognition as to not fire upon friendly units. The CAP is much like the CRAM as far as automation goes, and also uses the “Gatling” system, firing either 5.56mm Depleted Uranium or 12.7mm rounds at a rate of 1,800 RPM. The CAP cannot be air-deployed, but is much more tactically efficient in deployment, as it can be deployed in a random wilderness or urban setting, and operate much on its own, destroying enemies until it either depletes its ammunition or dies due to power. The CAP can maintain power by itself for six weeks after being turned on. It may be turned on or off at will, but the battery is non-replaceable. The system can be broken down for Manpack operations, and as a total unit, excluding the 2,000-round drum of ammunition, weighs a slight 170-pounds.
