Systems used on DMI products:

DMI Aerial Countermeasures (DAC)
These are small aerial decoys that protect from incoming missiles. They can be let out of the back of an airplane, shot into the air by a projectile system, or dropped to earth from airplanes. They are most commonly used in DMI aircraft to defend against enemy fighters and incoming missiles. They are designed with geometry that allows them to maintain speed and height while flying through the air and maintaining a very large radar cross section. The radar cross section of the DAC is nearly the same as the average size fighter and therefore looks like a fighter on radar. The DAC also transmits a radar-jamming signal, more specifically a noise jamming signal, so that the fighter and missile can retrieve any more information. The final mechanism of the DAC is to employ an IR signature equivalent to that of the fighter so it is impossible to distinguish between the two.


Aircraft Maneuvering Missile Defense (AMMiD)
Joint with the radar and onboard early warning missile system it takes control of the aircraft for a short time to avoid an incoming missile. While tracking incoming missiles, the AMMiD system, warns the pilot of their launch and then when the missiles are within 10 seconds of impact again warns the pilot of the CATO (computerized aircraft take over) system. When the missile is 4 seconds away the CATO system, keeping in mind hostile forces and terrain, decides on the best course of action; either it can roll left, roll right, burn the thrusters and pull up rapidly, or hit the brakes and descend rapidly. Hopefully the missile will fly right by - although if the pilot is not prepared or in good enough physical shape, the maneuvers can cause physical and mental harm.


Vehicle Controlled Computer System (VCCS)
A 512-bit encryption allows secure transmission of all signals and messages. An advanced navigation system, which is linked to all allied bases and satellites and radar systems, allows for the system to always know where it is on the battlefield as well as the enemy. Military linking and group co-ordination allow for advanced tactical strategy and the VCCS weapon system. The highly advanced onboard weapon system that along with the navigation and linking components, targets the enemies on the battlefield and destroys them. The VCCS communicates with the unknown combatant and depending on the resulting signal it distinguishes friend from foe. If the unknown combatant also has a VCCS then the communication time is almost instant. After finding out that the combatant is a foe, the VCCS chooses the best onboard weaponry to use against the enemy and then targets and fires. The targeting and firing system can be manually turned off so that it merely alerts the crew of the enemy. A computer monitors the pilot’s vitals and if the pilot is unable to fly the plane for various reasons (i.e. knocked out from the AMMiD system) the VCCS will take over. It can carry out the targeting and firing priorities, fly it back to safe territory, or evade the enemy using a database of maneuvers (Although not as good as a human pilot, it can be very useful).

The Omni-Sense RX90 employs even more features in its state-of-the-art design. The database of maneuvers contains pre-programmed moves and also studies the pilot’s and enemy pilot’s moves and adds them or a superior move to the database. The RX90 supervises the plains structure and reports any problems or future problems to the pilot – also it provides the best course of action for the problem and can execute that action if need be. The computer is programmed with various missions from bombing runs, intercepting missions, close air support, ground assault, and many others so that it can execute without the help of the pilot. The RX90 has the UVC system installed, which using satellites and high frequency signals communicates with the unmanned vehicle and allows an operative anywhere in the world control it as a pilot would. The RX90 can also activate the following systems which are built into the aircraft: DAC, AMMiD, EMP DAD, HES, SBRR, and Archangel Stealth System G-IV (all explained later).


Electromagnetic Pulse Detection, Avoidance, and Defense (EMP DAD)
As the acronym implies (DAD) it watches over your military and protects them from harmful EMPs. A highly advanced early warning system detects activating EMPs. It then shuts down all electronic systems and temporarily disconnects the power sources (In aircraft, in conjunction with the AMMiD system it thrusts the plane at an upward direction to maintain momentum when the power is cut – this part of the system can be turned off). The EMP DAD system also activates very small electro-magnets on the outside of the vehicle that create an electro-magnetic shield to oppose the EMP. The e-m shield has a 1-100,000 chance of being penetrated, although this is not a major issue as the EMP causes no harm because the electronics have been shut down.


High Energy Liquid Laser Missile Defense (Dr. Hell)
Dr. Hell, named as such for its devastating power and as an acronym "High Energy Liquid Laser Missile Defense" (the last two being M.D. also stand for Doctor), is one of the newest technologies in the Dominion arsenal. After extensive research and trillions of dollars put into the operation, the system was produced in a compact manner that still delivered a 300-kilowatt beam. The device is contained in a five-by-two-by-one-foot unit, which can be manipulated so that the laser can move one hundred fifty degrees (front to back). The deuterium hydrogen laser is powered by an advanced, large hydrogen fuel cell combined with solar panels on the surface of whatever it is emplaced on.

When deuterium is used instead of hydrogen, the deuterium fluoride, lases at the wavelength of about 3.8 µm. This makes the deuterium fluoride laser usable for terrestrial operations. The deuterium fluoride laser constructionally resembles a rocket engine. In the combustion chamber, ethylene is burned in nitrogen trifluoride. This reaction produces free excited fluorine radicals. Just after the nozzle, the mixture of helium and hydrogen or deuterium gas is injected to the exhaust stream; the hydrogen or deuterium reacts with the fluorine radicals, producing excited molecules of deuterium or hydrogen fluoride. The excited molecules then undergo stimulated emission in the optical resonator region of the laser.

The laser, as previously stated, is primarily a missile defense system. The high-energy beam, targeted by an advanced onboard computer and capable of being connected to a vehicle's main computer, locks on and reaches its target at incredible speeds faster than anything it is targeting. When the laser beam makes contact with its target, their are different possible results: it could possibly disintegrate the armor, heat shield, or adhesive measures effectively ripping the missile apart at such high speeds; it could cause the warhead to prematurely detonate, destroying the missile in midair; it could destroy the onboard computer and guidance system sending the missile off-track; it could, through quite rarely, if it manages to contact the engine and/or fuel, cause it to explode. However, the laser can also be used on other targets with varying results, the best being another aircraft due to the nature of its design and location.


Liqui-Gel Coolant System (LGCS)
A synthetic gel is pasted around the entire interior of the aircraft's structure and the energy providers for the two systems. The gel, which has been cooled to subzero temperatures while on the ground, maintains its temperature to within a degree for nearly thirty-two hours (if not affected except by the natural environment). However, when in contact with an atmosphere heated to several thousand degrees like that of the aircraft's interior systems, its temperature rises much quicker, absorbing heat the heat. In order to allow the aircraft to fly for hours without overcoming the gel's maximum capacity, it is aided by a water coolant system. Purified water is held in a tank inside the body of the plane and is pumped through tiny pipes that follow wherever the gel is located. Thus the heat is transferred from the plane to the gel to the water. When the water begins heating, it is transferred to an output system, which allows the liquid to exit the plane and evaporate as vapor. Meanwhile, as the plane cuts through the skies, the surface collects water molecules, especially when flying through clouds, and allows them to enter the piping system to replace the water. While most aircraft are advised to avoid rainstorms, this sealed and secured aircraft actually benefits from the water droplets. This system does its job and keeps the heat signature to a minimal level.


Unmanned Vehicles Control (UVC)
Description: Basically the controls of a normal vehicle are removed and then can be used to operate the vehicle from anywhere in the world.
Mechanism: Using satellites and high frequency signals, the UVC system communicated with the unmanned vehicle and controls it as a pilot would.
Problems: The slightest of delay between command and execution – about .03 seconds.
Use: All unmanned vehicles – sea, air or land.


Advanced Pinging and Deception SONAR (APDS)
When pinging for enemy ships the APDS system utilizes two important features. The first is that it uses an ultra high frequency ping that is too high for humans to hear. The second is that in conjunction with the VCCS link it pings the enemy ships and then can triangulate it by having other nearby ships measure the ping and how it bounced. If the enemy is utilizing sonar-deceiving technology so that it redirects the ping in another direction, an allied VCCS will pick it up and measure it. In order to deceive the enemy sonar the APDS system includes designing the ship with geometry that redirects the ping and sonar absorbing materials (SAMs) that capture the ping and do not return it. Also the APDS system can also send back a ping that shows the ship in another place, as something other than a ship, or as many ships.


Human-Eye Stealth (HES)
The HES system can be activated to create "stealth" to the human eye. The HES system digitally reproduces the surrounding environment onto tiny LCD screens located on the entire surface of the ship from many tiny cameras located in the armor. If working correctly the HES system can accurately reproduce its surroundings creating an active camouflage to the human eye. However the system is not perfect and can be affected by intensive lights and angels, which cause abnormalities in the reproduced image and making the ship easier to see. Also, the system drains a lot of energy and produces a significant heat signature if not cooled accordingly.


Anti-Missile Charged Centrifuge Gun (AMCCG)
The Anti-Missile Charged Centrifuge Gun is a missile defense system that can be incorporated into vehicles, aircraft, fixed structures, and naval vessels. Multiple AMCCGs are mounted onto a vehicle (generally 4 in total) so that they can cover all angles of threat - with each one covering roughly 25% of the vehicle. The AMCCG maintains a moving projectile inside the centrifuge so that upon firing it can reach immense speeds (over 7500 ft/sec) and hit the missile before it reaches its target. The actual projectile it fires is a 10-inch cylinder with a 1-inch diameter, with the tip being the top three inches. The tip is sharpened to extreme deadliness so that it can penetrate the missiles armor: then the tip is hollowed out and packed with explosives that will detonate on impact. The entire cylinder is immersed in an electro-magnetic charge while in the centrifuge and carries it to the missile - attempting to destroy the missiles computer system. It is controlled by the VCCS system which locks onto the missile and when in range fires the AMCCG.


Satellite Battlefield Realty Reproduction (SBRR)
The SBRR system is a satellite based reality reproduction system. The windows on the front of the aircraft (internal screens for non-aircraft) are actually screens that digitally reproduce the surroundings from thousands of mini cameras located all over the helicopter. The satellite system also allows for the pilot to look ahead around major obstacles and located a target that is not in the direct line of site. The onboard computer warns about hostile targets in the air and on the ground. It also comes with a missile early warning alert system that can show real time action of the incoming missile. The SBRR system is also connected to the helmet and fold down visor. The visor is made of two halves – one for each eye – and can be lowered and raised individually. The pilot can choose between normal view, 180 view, or advanced view: the normal view is what he would see on the window screens, the 180 view gives him a view of behind the helicopter looking back, and the advanced view allows to see ahead and around obstacles to see what lays in store. An onboard voice system allows the pilot to control the entire system with voice commands – although it is mostly used for weapon targeting and firing.

In the next generation of SBRR there are a few upgrades. The windows and fold down bi-visor have had glare-resistant materials added to them along with light reduction materials and systems so the pilot can look in the direction of the sun without being blinded. The advanced view of the SBRR system has been upgraded so that it can study the possible courses of action the commander has based on where enemies are. It can then determine how other nearby allies and enemies would react to the conflict and what the probable outcome would be – very handy if you would like to know if you are going to die or not. All alerts will show up on the screens and be announced by the computer voice system – if it is determined to be urgent enough and the commander doesn’t take the a proper course of action, the Omni-Sense RX90 will take over and execute the best course of action – whether it be bomb a target or evade an enemy (option can be turned off). The SBRR system is designed to be extremely user friendly and wield the best results as to provide the commander with everything he could need from munitions left to top-secret information on future targets.


Archangel Stealth System
Generation I – In this system, incoming radar beams are detected by various sensors around the vehicle. This information in sent to a computer that works out the location of the radar site, and sends back a counter signal that negates the reflected radar beam. The effectiveness of the system decreases as the number of radar sites increases.
Generation II – In addition to the system in the first generation, jamming capabilities have been added. This has three settings: Destruction, this is where the system overloads enemy radar systems and causes them to be destroyed; Swarm, this is where the system generates hundreds and thousands of images on the enemy radar, causing them to loose accuracy in foretelling enemy numbers, and attempting to single targets out for missile lock; Misdirection, this is where the system co-ordinates with the onboard Wraith system (if detected) so that each vehicle generated by the Wraith system, also has a radar signature generated by the Archangel system.
Generation III - In the wake of new radar systems that use self canceling radar waves to detect the presence of newer generation active stealth systems, the Archangel system was redesigned to incorporate wave projection into it, allowing it to compare the incoming signals against atmospheric conditions to decide the right waves to return.
Generation IV - More of an update than a true evolution, the G-IV incorporates a sound deadening system that sends out sound waves that are in anti-phase to the sound created by the vehicle. Though the system is unlikely to totally eliminate the sound created, it will reduce it by a significant amount, allowing audio confirmation by the enemy to be ignored.

Triad Armour
This armour is composed of three layers. The first is a self-healing layer, composed of a glue-like substance between two thin layers. When the substance comes into contact with air it begins to congeal and harden, forming a cover over the hole. This only works on smaller holes - missile damage is impossible to heal. The second layer is a titanium-aluminium alloy to provide torsional stiffness and some protection from bullets. The third layer is a carbon-silicon nano-mesh that will seriously slow down any bullets that penetrate the first two layers, preventing them from doing damage to internal mechanics. The armour is roughly 10kg per Metre square.

Triada Armour
Essentially Triad Armour for tanks. It takes the basics of AfrikaZkorps' Helinix Armour, and adds to it to make it a superior armour. This armour is composed of the following layers: the first is a self-healing layer, similar to that in the Triad Armour; the second layer is a thin layer of a titanium-aluminium alloy; the third is a layer of Depleted Uranium, increasing the protection of the tank; the fourth layer is a titanium-aluminium alloy, threaded with carbon-whiskers; the fifth layer is composed of a carbon-silicon nano-mesh that will seriously slow down any bullets that penetrate the first four layers.

Guardian Turrets
These turrets are designed for naval vessels, specifically submarines. Utilizing supercavitation technology, this turret fires small bullets at high speed at specified targets. This is useful for defense against incoming torpedoes, removing sonar buoys, destroying mines, and various other tasks.

DMG Military Industries purchased the rights to a product used on naval vessels called the Guardian Turret. When the F-90 Guardian Angel was drawn up and named the designers insisted it had a modified Guardian Turret on it. Unfortunately the Guardian Turret could only be used in water so the model was kept but a new Angel Turret was created on the frame of the Guardian Turret. Though the new Angel Turret was created specifically for and in use on the F-90 Guardian Angel, it is in use in other aircraft as well. It was hooked up to the RX90 super computer and it is used as a system to stop incoming missiles. The gun loads its bullets from a centrifuge that allows them to go at much faster speeds than a normal machine gun. It was placed on the back of the plane so to guard it from behind.

PIPD
Phoenixius Ion Propulsion Drive
This is a ‘silent’ propulsion drive. It works by having tubes running the length of the naval vessel the EMDS is on. At the front an electrified grid ionizes the water molecules, so that the percentage of ions to molecules is increased to roughly half and half. The ions are then split into two different tubes, one for the positive ions and the other for negative ions. These ions are then accelerated by charged pads running the length of the tubes. As the ions pass by they are repelled by the plates in turn, increasing the velocity of the ions. At the rear of the drive, the ions are allowed to re-combine, removing any trace of passage.

Mist Refraction System
This system uses high-frequency generators on the side of the ship. These excite the molecules in the air so that light coming from the sky is refracted so that it is projected horizontally. This creates images of the sky where the ship should be, but the brain perceives it as water, and so the ship is undetected by visual systems.

Laser Guidance System
A unique system, unlike the old this features real-time color footage of each Bomb and Laser guided missile fired. For the missiles there would be a CPU chip attached so if a must could be manually override and changed target, you could either lock it on to the new target or guide it in yourself. As for the bombs, it creates a more accurate look, with also an onboard nose cam same as the missile, the difference is that you can shift the weight, for spin, roll, or anything you can imagine with a bomb. Need it to skip into a hallway then blow up? You can do it with this, sounds unreal but it has been done in WW2 except now it’s a compact feature on Jets.

Air-Air Radar
Unlike old RWR and Radar, you has systems like on the F-22 and F-117, except you can have curved edges, doesn't matter, you simply reflect any Radar BEAMS from Russian made aircraft, you can also if you have a lock on your target, override his radar with your own version of a BEAM. The override concept is still being tested but should be ready sometime soon.

Dear Mr. Ticron,

The Falastine Defense Forces have just received their first batch of F-16, F-15 and AH-64 aircraft. We must first apologize for the blunder caused by the miscalculation of our ex-accountant and we agree to pay the 5% penalty for it.

We are satisfied with the excellent quality of the aircraft. The paint job on them was impressive, some of our officers even fell in love with the F-16 because of her paint scheme! We tested all of them and they seem to be in perfect condition and the avionics, ECM suite and helmet-mounted display worked perfectly.

But it seemed that 5 of the Litening II targeting pods were defective, we just could not access the FLIR of the pod. We hope that we can get replacements for these, and the targeting pods are on the way back to the Dominion of DMG.

Nevertheless, we appreciate the good work done by DMG Military Industries and we look forward to future prospects with your company.

Re: Defective Targeting Pods

First of all, I am glad that you are staisfied by our work. Now onto the more important issue of the foward-looking infrared senser. I had the chief engineer of DMI take a squad of technicians and engineers to examine the plane and you are quite right. They too found the FLIR on the LITENING II defective. Apparently during construction of the LITENING II a key component was unknowingly damaged as well as numerous wires being cut. I have had the aircraft refitted with working LITENING II systems and had them tested before they left the company. We are sending them back to you free of charge.

Behemoth II Heavy Battle Tank

As the name implies, this tank is a mammoth on the battlefield. The Behemoth II is bigger than almost every other vehicle that will be faced in battle. Its armament is two huge 220mm smooth bore guns, two stinger pods that hold six stingers each to defend against aerial attacks, and also an M240 medium machine gun. The only drawback to the Behemoth II is that due to its immense size, it is a bit of a gas guzzler (it also has solar panels to create energy for the systems) and isn’t the fastest vehicle out there.

The Behemoth II is not to be used as the mainstay of a tank force, but rather as a varied tank to instill fear in your enemies and project power. The two biggest advantages it will have over its contemporaries are the immense range of its highly powerful main armament, and its extremely thick and multi-layered Triada Armour that defend against all rounds and projectiles.

The Impact MLRS is the missile attack mainstay of the Dominion military. It is capable of firing twelve missiles at an instance and its reload time has been cut down so that it can rapidly target and eliminate its targets. The AH-2G Ranger is a quick moving, light helicopter that can be used in a variety of missions. Elusion Class Vehicle

The Elusion Class Vehicle is one of the most unique and odd military vehicles created by DMI. It is equipped with the best technology DMI has and is armored to defend against powerful weapons, including armor piercing rounds and exploding bombs. The back row of seats was replaced by an M240 Medium Machine Gun that is controlled by a computer from the passenger seat. The trunk can be opened and the M240 will surprise any unfortunate party behind them or that though they had them surrounded. The back of the second row was fortified with bullet proof siding and windows so that the machine gun can be used without fear of being shot in the back. Under the second row of seats are three rifles, one antitank missile launcher, three pistols, and three suits of body armor so that one can live without fear of being caught off guard.

It has a powerful engine that can push the vehicle to over one hundred and sixty miles per hour and from zero to sixty in less than four seconds. It can cover five hundred miles in no time at all, and so a gas storage tank was added under the seats so that it could continue for another three hundred or so miles. Despite its heavy weight, it handles like a sports car and grips the land like the tires were melting. It is equipped with a full military computer system including GPS and satellite communications. It has run-flat tires to keep it going and oil slicks in the back to deter and disable tailing cars or to simply light something a blaze.

New missile defense technology installed in the vehicle includes the Anti-Missile Charged Centrifuge Gun (AMCCG) and the High Energy Liquid Laser Missile Defense (Dr. Hell).

The Anti-Missile Charged Centrifuge Gun is a missile defense system that can be incorporated into vehicles, aircraft, fixed structures, and naval vessels. Multiple AMCCGs are mounted onto a vehicle (generally 4 in total) so that they can cover all angles of threat - with each one covering roughly 25% of the vehicle. The AMCCG maintains a moving projectile inside the centrifuge so that upon firing it can reach immense speeds (over 7500 ft/sec) and hit the missile before it reaches its target. The actual projectile it fires is a 10-inch cylinder with a 1-inch diameter, with the tip being the top three inches. The tip is sharpened to extreme deadliness so that it can penetrate the missiles armor: then the tip is hollowed out and packed with explosives that will detonate on impact. The entire cylinder is immersed in an electro-magnetic charge while in the centrifuge and carries it to the missile - attempting to destroy the missiles computer system. It is controlled by the VCCS system which locks onto the missile and when in range fires the AMCCG.

Dr. Hell, named as such for its devastating power and as an acronym "High Energy Liquid Laser Missile Defense" (the last two being M.D. also stand for Doctor), is one of the newest technologies in the Dominion arsenal. After extensive research and trillions of dollars put into the operation, the system was produced in a compact manner that still delivered a 300-kilowatt beam. The device is contained in a five-by-two-by-one-foot unit, which can be manipulated so that the laser can move one hundred fifty degrees (front to back). The deuterium hydrogen laser is powered by an advanced, large hydrogen fuel cell combined with solar panels on the surface of whatever it is emplaced on.

When deuterium is used instead of hydrogen, the deuterium fluoride, lases at the wavelength of about 3.8 µm. This makes the deuterium fluoride laser usable for terrestrial operations. The deuterium fluoride laser constructionally resembles a rocket engine. In the combustion chamber, ethylene is burned in nitrogen trifluoride. This reaction produces free excited fluorine radicals. Just after the nozzle, the mixture of helium and hydrogen or deuterium gas is injected to the exhaust stream; the hydrogen or deuterium reacts with the fluorine radicals, producing excited molecules of deuterium or hydrogen fluoride. The excited molecules then undergo stimulated emission in the optical resonator region of the laser.

The laser, as previously stated, is primarily a missile defense system. The high-energy beam, targeted by an advanced onboard computer and capable of being connected to a vehicle's main computer, locks on and reaches its target at incredible speeds faster than anything it is targeting. When the laser beam makes contact with its target, their are different possible results: it could possibly disintegrate the armor, heat shield, or adhesive measures effectively ripping the missile apart at such high speeds; it could cause the warhead to prematurely detonate, destroying the missile in midair; it could destroy the onboard computer and guidance system sending the missile off-track; it could, through quite rarely, if it manages to contact the engine and/or fuel, cause it to explode. However, the laser can also be used on other targets with varying results, the best being another aircraft due to the nature of its design and location.

The HES system was initially created for the Elusion Class Vehicle and has since become a mainstay in the military:

The HES system can be activated to create "stealth" to the human eye. The HES system digitally reproduces the surrounding environment onto tiny LCD screens located on the entire surface of the vehicle. If working correctly the HES system can accurately reproduce its surroundings creating an active camouflage to the human eye. However the system is not perfect and can be affected by intensive lights and angels, which cause abnormalities in the reproduced image and making the vehicle easier to see.

F-90 Guardian Angel

History
This is the first ever fighter plane designed by DMG Military Industries. It is equipped with the most advanced technology and some newly developed technology that was made specifically for and is used solely on the Guardian Angel. It was created as a multi-role aircraft to fill an air-superiority, bomber, and interceptor role. It took many years and billions of dollars to design but it was finally a reality.

It received the named Guardian Angel because the people on the ground when they are in need call it for support and it is their “Guardian Angel”. Also the pilots who flew it in the test stages said it performed like nothing of this earth and would help the pilot beyond what he knew – so sensibly it was named the Guardian Angel.

Cockpit and Control Systems
The cockpit, being the most vital part of the aircraft, has been advanced to the limits of technology. It has start-of-the-art computers and systems that make the F-90 Guardian Angel one of the most dangerous planes in the sky.

Onboard Computer
The main computer system of the Guardian Angel is the Omni-Sense RX90, which is an advanced version of the VCCS that is employed by DMG Military Industries. The basic VCCS G-II controls the entire plane and is basically a second pilot if the real pilot is unable to do his job. It contains the following technology:

A 512-bit encryption allows secure transmission of all signals and messages. An advanced navigation system, which is linked to all allied bases and satellites and radar systems, allows for the system to always know where it is on the battlefield as well as the enemy. Military linking and group co-ordination allow for advanced tactical strategy and the VCCS weapon system. The highly advanced onboard weapon system that along with the navigation and linking components, targets the enemies on the battlefield and destroys them. The VCCS communicates with the unknown combatant and depending on the resulting signal it distinguishes friend from foe. If the unknown combatant also has a VCCS then the communication time is almost instant. After finding out that the combatant is a foe, the VCCS chooses the best onboard weaponry to use against the enemy and then targets and fires. The targeting and firing system can be manually turned off so that it merely alerts the crew of the enemy. A computer monitors the pilot’s vitals and if the pilot is unable to fly the plane for various reasons (i.e. knocked out from the AMMiD system) the VCCS will take over. It can carry out the targeting and firing priorities, fly it back to safe territory, or evade the enemy using a database of maneuvers.

The Omni-Sense RX90 employs even more features in its state-of-the-art design. The database of maneuvers contains pre-programmed moves and also studies the pilot’s and enemy pilot’s moves and adds them or a superior move to the database. The RX90 supervises the plains structure and reports any problems or future problems to the pilot – also it provides the best course of action for the problem and can execute that action if need be. The computer is programmed with various missions from bombing runs, intercepting missions, close air support, ground assault, and many others so that it can execute without the help of the pilot. The RX90 has the UVC system installed, which using satellites and high frequency signals communicates with the unmanned vehicle and allows an operative anywhere in the world control it as a pilot would. The RX90 can also activate the following systems which are built into the aircraft: DAC, AMMiD, EMP DAD, HES, SBRR, and Archangel Stealth System G-IV (all explained later).

Interactive – Screens and controls
The controls of the aircraft are an advanced SBRR system. The SBRR system contains the following:

The SBRR system is a satellite based reality reproduction system. The windows on the front of the aircraft are actually screens that digitally reproduce the surroundings from thousands of mini cameras located all over the aircraft – however they can be turned off so that the windows are transparent. The satellite system also allows for the pilot to look ahead around major obstacles and located a target that is not in the direct line of site. The onboard computer warns about hostile targets in the area. It also comes with a missile early warning alert system that can show real time action of the incoming missile. The SBRR system is also connected to the helmet and fold down visor. The visor is made of two halves – one for each eye – and can be lowered and raised individually. The pilot can choose between normal view, 180 view, or advanced view: the normal view is what he would see on the window screens, the 180 view gives him a view of behind the aircraft looking backwards, and the advanced view allows to see ahead and around obstacles to see what lays in store. An onboard voice system allows the pilot to control the entire system with voice commands – it can be used for weapon targeting and firing, to fly the aircraft, communicate with other systems or ground control, and any other possibility. It is almost as if playing a fighter pilot video game... at 50,000 feet.

In the next generation of SBRR that is used in the Guardian Angel there are a few upgrades. The windows and fold down bi-visor have had glare-resistant materials added to them along with light reduction materials and systems so the pilot can look in the direction of the sun without being blinded. The advanced view of the SBRR system has been upgraded so that it can study the possible courses of action the pilot has based on where enemies are. It can then determine how other nearby allies and enemies would react to the conflict and what the probable outcome would be – very handy if you would like to know if you are going to die or not. All alerts will show up on the screens and be announced by the computer voice system – if it is determined to be urgent enough and the pilot doesn’t take the a proper course of action, the Omni-Sense RX90 will take over and execute the best course of action – whether it be bomb a target or evade an enemy. The SBRR system is designed to be extremely user friendly and wield the best results as to provide the pilot with everything he could need from munitions left to top-secret information on future targets.

Ejection Seat?
Yes and no. Actually the entire cockpit ejects from the fuselage of the plane and two wings slide out from the sides. Called the Celestial Enigma it has an engine on it and a small supply of fuel that allow it to travel around 200 miles at 150 mph. The escape craft has a built in 15mm SF-790 Chain Gun that can be manually operated or controlled through the SBRR/VCCS.

After the fuel runs out, if the plane has not landed or on a landing course, it opens two massive parachutes that slow the plane down and then allow it to float to the ground. If all else fails the pilot can use a basic ejector seat to travel to safety.

Ten seconds after the Celestial Enigma has ejected and flown away the fuselage of the plane detonates leaving only very small debris to be picked up.

Weapons and Ordinance
The weapons systems of the Guardian Angel are controlled via the SBRR or Omni-Sense RX90 super computer. The RX90 can find enemies on the battlefield and target and eliminate them with the weapons. All onboard weapons are stored inside the aircraft as to minimize the radar cross section.

The Guardian Angel has two DMI designed, Hell-Raiser Heavy Machine Guns. These are placed inside the main body near the front of the aircraft. Right as the pilot or RX90 is about to fire the guns, a nine square inch panel opens up in front of them and then closes when the trigger is released. They can lock onto a target just like a missile would and they compensate for the movement of the aircraft. The bullets are 20mm and are hollow point but filled with explosives so that on impact they create tiny explosions that could tear a hole in the armor or ignite any fuel and munitions in a small radius.

Ordinance
The Guardian Angel has two internal weapons bays that can hold a total of 8 missiles or bombs each. They can carry any type of missile or bomb, from light nuclear ordinances to long-range air-to-air missiles. Each bay has a revolver type missile loading system that can launch one ordinance at a time and then spin and launch another. The bay doors open a millisecond before the missile is to be launched and then close immediately after so that stealth is maintained. The unique thing about the Guardian Angel’s loading system is that it can load the missile in reverse so it can fire behind the aircraft at a pursuing enemy. The bays are located on either side of the fuselage.

The Guardian Angel has four external hard points capable of carrying ordinance, which are usually heavier air-to-surface missiles. The hard points can also be equipped with fuel tanks for long-range missions so that it can travel a much farther distance without having to refuel.
Note: adding ordinance or fuel tanks to the hard points creates more weight and slightly less speed.

DMG Military Industries purchased the rights to a product used on naval vessels called the Guardian Turret. When this aircraft was drawn up and named the designers insisted it had a modified Guardian Turret on it. Unfortunately the Guardian Turret could only be used in water so the model was kept but a new Angel Turret was created on the frame of the Guardian Turret.

The new Angel Turret, created specifically for and in use only on, the Guardian Angel was hooked up to the RX90 super computer and it is used as a system to stop incoming missiles. The gun loads its bullets from a centrifuge that allows them to go at much faster speeds than a normal machine gun. It was placed on the back of the plane so to guard it from behind.

Engines
The engine system on the Guardian Angel is quite unique as it has two separate engine systems. It is powered by two TLS-0125M engines that produce 38,240 lbs of thrust each, combining for a total of 76,480 lbs of thrust (total of 84,770 lbs of thrust with afterburners). The engines and all internal parts are made from cesium-lithium metalloid *Credit Truitt* which has one of the lowest melting points of any known metal and can sustain extreme heat and weathering. It is also very light and easy to work with so it is very useful to use in aircraft engines. The engines are built with rotating hinges so that they can be turned towards nearly perpendicular with the ground so they can lift the plane up and out at the same time. The angled engines allow for a faster rate of climb and descent then most aircraft.

The range of the engines allows the plane to travel up to 2100 miles without refueling. However the Guardian Angel does have mid-air refueling capabilities so it can fly long distances if need be. It can also add fuel tanks to the wings when ferrying for extended range of about 3800 miles.

The second part of the engine system is a SCRAMJET that is used for short periods of time. The TLS S11-CE SCRAMJET allows the plane to temporarily reach great speeds in order to evade enemies, missiles, or just to get to the destination a little faster. The S11-CE can only be used for a very short period of time otherwise the fuel runs out and the engines cut out. The SCRAMJET will be automatically activated by the RX90 when it determines an incoming missile has been fired and needs to outrun it. The S11-CE is placed in a unique position above the cockpit. This helps with fooling LIDAR and produces an on-off-on-off signal that is unlike most aircraft avoidance signals.

The aircraft super cruises at roughly mach 2.7. When the afterburners are activated on the engines it can reach about mach 3.3. And for the short period of time the SCRAMJET is activated, the Guardian Angel can reach speeds of nearly Mach 4.2, although the exact speed is classified by both DMG Military Industries and the Dominion government.

When all else fails…
If the Celestial Enigma escape craft is ejected from the aircraft the system waits ten seconds and then reverses the flow of fuel and ignites a massive explosion – along with all remaining missiles and bombs exploding.

Stealth and Design
One of the main goals of the Guardian Angel program was to create a fast, strong aircraft that still maintained a small radar cross section and high tech stealth abilities.

Design
Every aspect of the design was modified to create the best possible stealth. All weapons and fuel tanks are located inside the aircraft so as to not create a large RCS. The wings are fairly unique as they can be in any position from forward swept wings and then move to become swept wings or fold even farther back and become almost one with the fuselage. Other than that the aircraft is a classic fighter design and is most like the F/A-22 Raptor. The angles are created to reduce the RCS to minimal levels. Also the plane is coated in classified radar absorbing materials so that the RCS is minimized even more.

The structure of the aircraft is built from Eboride Ticobium nanorods, an amazingly strong synthesized alloy. It is highly resistant to puncturing and its melting point is at extreme temperatures over 8000 degrees. It requires heavy machinery and advanced technology to produce and mold into the required design - but its usefulness and strength make it the perfect material.

Armor and Defensive Systems
The outside of the plane is made from modified Triad Armour that has been strengthened with various materials and is more heat resistant now:

This armor is composed of three layers. The first is a self-healing layer, composed of a glue-like substance between two thin layers. When the substance comes into contact with air it begins to congeal and harden, forming a cover over the hole. This only works on smaller holes - missile damage is impossible to heal. The second layer is a titanium-aluminum alloy to provide torsional stiffness and some protection from bullets. The third layer is a carbon-silicon nano-mesh that will seriously slow down any bullets that penetrate the first two layers, preventing them from doing damage to internal mechanics. The armor is roughly 10kg per square meter.
The actual weight of the armor used on the Guardian Angel is classified by DMI.

The Guardian Angel is also armored with ERA armor that protects it against missiles and projectiles.

The DMG Military Industries' custom DAC system also protects it from missiles with the following technology:

These are small aerial decoys that protect from incoming missiles. They can be let out of the back of an airplane, shot into the air by a projectile system, or dropped to earth from airplanes. They are most commonly used in DMI aircraft to defend against enemy fighters and incoming missiles. They are designed with geometry that allows them to maintain speed and height while flying through the air and maintaining a very large radar cross section. The radar cross section of the DAC is nearly the same as the average size fighter and therefore looks like a fighter on radar. The DAC also transmits a radar-jamming signal, more specifically a noise jamming signal, so that the fighter and missile can retrieve any more information. The final mechanism of the DAC is to employ an IR signature equivalent to that of the fighter so it is impossible to distinguish between the two.

To protect against EMP missiles and bombs that the Guardian Angel employs a defensive system that is composed of multiple systems. The EMP DAD is the following:

As the acronym implies (DAD) it watches over your military and protects them from harmful EMPs. A highly advanced early warning system detects activating EMPs. It then shuts down all electronic systems and temporarily disconnects the power sources (In aircraft, in conjunction with the AMMiD system it thrusts the plane at an upward direction to maintain momentum when the power is cut – this part of the system can be turned off). The EMP DAD system also activates very small electro-magnets on the outside of the vehicle that create an electro-magnetic shield to oppose the EMP. The e-m shield has a 1-100,000 chance of being penetrated, although this is not a major issue as the EMP causes no harm because the electronics have been shut down.

The third defensive system, AMMiD, against incoming missiles is a maneuvering system that is completely computer controlled.

Joint with the radar and onboard early warning missile system it takes control of the aircraft for a short time to avoid an incoming missile. While tracking incoming missiles, the AMMiD system, warns the pilot of their launch and then when the missiles are within 10 seconds of impact again warns the pilot of the CATO (computerized aircraft take over) system. When the missile is 4 seconds away the CATO system, keeping in mind hostile forces and terrain, decides on the best course of action; either it can roll left, roll right, burn the thrusters and pull up rapidly, or hit the brakes and descend rapidly. Hopefully the missile will fly right by - although if the pilot is not prepared or in good enough physical shape, the maneuvers can cause physical and mental harm.

The final defense system, not initially included on the aircraft but now added to all past and future units, is the aptly named Dr. Hell. The laser defense system is an advanced technology that can be used in both defense of the aircraft as well as in an attempt to down another aircraft. This aircraft has three of the devices, two in the rear on either side of the bottom of the fuselage and one in the nose. The two rear systems have been adjusted to allow thirty-degree rotation from side-to-side and one hundred fifty degree adjustment from front-to-back. The front laser can move twenty degrees in every direction (the maximum forming a circle).

Dr. Hell, named as such for its devastating power and as an acronym "High Energy Liquid Laser Missile Defense" (the last two being M.D. also stand for Doctor), is one of the newest technologies in the Dominion arsenal. After extensive research and trillions of dollars put into the operation, the system was produced in a compact manner that still delivered a 300-kilowatt beam. The device is contained in a five-by-two-by-one-foot unit, which can be manipulated so that the laser can move one hundred fifty degrees (front to back). The deuterium hydrogen laser is powered by an advanced, large hydrogen fuel cell combined with solar panels on the surface of whatever it is emplaced on.

When deuterium is used instead of hydrogen, the deuterium fluoride, lases at the wavelength of about 3.8 µm. This makes the deuterium fluoride laser usable for terrestrial operations. The deuterium fluoride laser constructionally resembles a rocket engine. In the combustion chamber, ethylene is burned in nitrogen trifluoride. This reaction produces free excited fluorine radicals. Just after the nozzle, the mixture of helium and hydrogen or deuterium gas is injected to the exhaust stream; the hydrogen or deuterium reacts with the fluorine radicals, producing excited molecules of deuterium or hydrogen fluoride. The excited molecules then undergo stimulated emission in the optical resonator region of the laser.

The laser, as previously stated, is primarily a missile defense system. The high-energy beam, targeted by an advanced onboard computer and capable of being connected to a vehicle's main computer, locks on and reaches its target at incredible speeds faster than anything it is targeting. When the laser beam makes contact with its target, their are different possible results: it could possibly disintegrate the armor, heat shield, or adhesive measures effectively ripping the missile apart at such high speeds; it could cause the warhead to prematurely detonate, destroying the missile in midair; it could destroy the onboard computer and guidance system sending the missile off-track; it could, through quite rarely, if it manages to contact the engine and/or fuel, cause it to explode. However, the laser can also be used on other targets with varying results, the best being another aircraft due to the nature of its design and location.

Stealth
The Guardian Angel employs a system that is very befitting of the name – the Archangel Stealth System G-IV. The Archangel G-IV uses the following:

Generation I – In this system, incoming radar beams are detected by various sensors around the vehicle. This information in sent to a computer that works out the location of the radar site, and sends back a counter signal that negates the reflected radar beam. The effectiveness of the system decreases as the number of radar sites increases.
Generation II – In addition to the system in the first generation, jamming capabilities have been added. This has three settings: Destruction, this is where the system overloads enemy radar systems and causes them to be destroyed; Swarm, this is where the system generates hundreds and thousands of images on the enemy radar, causing them to loose accuracy in foretelling enemy numbers, and attempting to single targets out for missile lock; Misdirection, this is where the system co-ordinates with the onboard Wraith system (if detected) so that each vehicle generated by the Wraith system, also has a radar signature generated by the Archangel system.
Generation III - In the wake of new radar systems that use self canceling radar waves to detect the presence of newer generation active stealth systems, the Archangel system was redesigned to incorporate wave projection into it, allowing it to compare the incoming signals against atmospheric conditions to decide the right waves to return.
Generation IV - More of an update than a true evolution, the G-IV incorporates a sound deadening system that sends out sound waves that are in anti-phase to the sound created by the vehicle. Though the system is unlikely to totally eliminate the sound created, it will reduce it by a significant amount, allowing audio confirmation by the enemy to be ignored.

The Guardian Angel uses the most state-of-the-art radar jamming and evasive technology possible. The system can also confuse the radar or send signals equivalent to the radar’s signals but with false information - making it seem as if the aircraft is anything from a duck to a Inter-Continental Ballistic Missile to 30 different aircraft. If you want to remain hidden it can send a signal making it seem as if nothing larger than a bird is there and most radars will cancel it out. You could also have fun by scaring the hell out of ground control and making an ICBM suddenly show up on the radar – watch how the enemies run for cover. Or for strategic use you can make a fleet of aircraft appear on radar – make enemies run in fear from a battalion of aircraft or make them move their forces to accommodate for an overwhelming incoming force.

The Guardian Angel also has a “stealth versus the human eye system” which allows it to become invisible – sort of. It has some drawbacks but the HES system functions as follows:

The HES system can be activated to create "stealth" to the human eye. The HES system digitally reproduces the surrounding environment onto tiny LCD screens located on the entire surface of the ship from many tiny cameras located in the armor. If working correctly the HES system can accurately reproduce its surroundings creating an active camouflage to the human eye. However the system is not perfect and can be affected by intensive lights and angels, which cause abnormalities in the reproduced image and making the ship easier to see. Also, the system drains a lot of energy and produces a significant heat signature if not cooled accordingly.

Although it can be used in flight, it has a greater potential to fail because it struggles to reproduce the effect of air (as its surroundings is technically the horizon). Also, the heat signature is harder to cover up as it adds to the plane's already heated body. However, this can be countered by the liqui-gel and water rotating cooling system that masks the heat and removes it from the aircraft. The Liqui-Gel Coolant System is as follows:

A synthetic gel is pasted around the entire interior of the aircraft's structure and the energy providers for the two systems. The gel, which has been cooled to subzero temperatures while on the ground, maintains its temperature to within a degree for nearly thirty-two hours (if not affected except by the natural environment). However, when in contact with an atmosphere heated to several thousand degrees like that of the aircraft's interior systems, its temperature rises much quicker, absorbing heat the heat. In order to allow the aircraft to fly for hours without overcoming the gel's maximum capacity, it is aided by a water coolant system. Purified water is held in a tank inside the body of the plane and is pumped through tiny pipes that follow wherever the gel is located. Thus the heat is transferred from the plane to the gel to the water. When the water begins heating, it is transferred to an output system, which allows the liquid to exit the plane and evaporate as vapor. Meanwhile, as the plane cuts through the skies, the surface collects water molecules, especially when flying through clouds, and allows them to enter the piping system to replace the water. While most aircraft are advised to avoid rainstorms, this sealed and secured aircraft actually benefits from the water droplets. This system does its job and keeps the heat signature to a minimal level.
