DMG Military Industries was founded in 1980, by a then 20-year-old Mar'ki Ticron. It started with a simple weapons website being run solely by Mar'ki Ticron, but with Ticron's ambition it grew into the multinational corporation that it is today. It expanded over the years, buying foreign designs and creating its own. In 2005, Mar'ki Ticron took DMI public and sold off one-quarter of the stock (Mar'ki Ticron still holds 90% of the stock). Ticron then went on buying hundreds of small business in the Dominion of all different sorts, and formed them into a conglomerate called DMG Civil Industries.

DMG Military Industries sells numerous different types of goods, from naval forces, to aircraft, to land systems and personal equipment. DMI has created several unique products including some that have taken years of research and development before their unveiling. A few of DMI's products have been restricted by the DMG government to only be sold to the Dominion so as to maintain the superiority of the Dominion's armed forces.

The company is currently worth 20 Trillion USD and has done over 850 Trillion USD in international contracts. DMG Military Industries currently employs over 50,000,000 employees and is one the largest employers in the Dominion (along with DMG Civil Industries). DMI is also the largest owner of Dominion land, other than the government, which ranges from corporate offices to factories, to testing ranges (naval and land). At DMI, 1 NS Year = 1 RL Day (thus 1 NS Month = 2 RL Hours). This has two implications: One, you are only allowed to spend 100% of your defense budget only once per RL day; Two, we will write a date of delivery on our confirmation post and this is when your order will arrive in the NS Universe. You can ask for the delivery to come to a special place (doesn't have to be your nation) and you can ask for a rush delivery, however that will cost more as to be determined when requested (Normal shipping is free of cost).

Section 15 - Custom Designs
A small division of the DMI Research & Development team is accepting custom orders for combat and non-combat products. Please include specifications of the custom design you would like produced or detailed ideas that present an overall concept of the product (i.e. no "I want a bomber."). We will set the price after researching and designing the product. All costs of design and development will be covered by DMI if the proposal is accepted, but any of the products produced will be sold at standard export cost.

The standard agreement is very basic and non-negotiable:

Agreement:
1) All production rights to custom designs will be held by both the nation that contracted the design and by DMG Military Industries.
2) DMG Military Industries reserves the rights to make changes to the design at any time, set the price, and sell rights to the design.
3) The nation contracting the design cannot sell production rights for the design, though may sell the product itself.

OOC: based on my info i would like to "correct" some prices, but after all you don't need to listen to me.

F-35 should be a bit higher priced. it is stealth after all and much like the F-22, but it can also go on carriers

F-117 is more like a Light Bomber than an attack craft

B-52 should not cost less than any Fighters aside from stealth types (75 million mabye)

RAH-66 is a stealth helicopter and would not cost less than any of the others i would say about 40 million

The MHX-20 helicopter is a cousin of the popular AH-64 Apache, however it is undergone a few changes and is now much more advanced. It is a multi-role - attack, support, and behind enemy lines insertion – helicopter. With its versatile armament, it is very capable of defending itself against any foe, whether it is on land, in the air or at sea, and the new SBRR system allows for maximum combat performance. DMG Military Industries decided that it needed a new heavy ordinance, but fast bomber that was capable of blowing the enemy out of the water. And so the successor to the B-52, the (renamed from the 680B) B-54 Night Falcon was born. It was very expensive to research as DMI needed to create new engines to propel the heavy plane, and it is not very stealthy, but its job description does not require stealth. It can move at speeds over one thousand miles per hour and reach heights far beyond the clouds at over one hundred thousand feet. It carries a deadly load of one hundred thousand pounds of ordinance, be they conventional, precision, chemical, or even nuclear. Its range of over fifty eight hundred miles makes it an intercontinental bomber capable of long trips far from its home base - and depending on the bomb load (i.e. if it is not full), it could go even farther. It is also capable of in-flight refueling should it ever require it.

While it is equipped with an EMP defense system as well as aerial countermeasures, it is in no position to out maneuver or outrun enemy missiles and aircraft. It is best to have escort aircraft join it when it is in hostile zones, or trade off escort aircraft as it follows its path.

This new Humvee type vehicle is equipped with the newest technology from DMI. It is meant to be an all-purpose vehicle that can destroy tanks, take out enemy soldiers, and insert a small team of men. With upgraded Triada Armour and powerful engines propelling the Legionnaire to nearly one hundred miles per hour, it can withstand the enemy's attacks or simply evade them. It has long been a mainstay of the Dominion military, but has nonetheless been upgraded in recent years with the newest technology to better fulfill its role.

It has eight Line-of-Sight Antitank Missile launcher - four on either side of the top, as well as an M240 Machine Gun controlled from a computer by the passenger. Beneath the seats in the back is a cache of weapons including a portable one man Stinger to take out pesky aircraft, especially helicopters.

It is capable of firing DAC – aerial countermeasures: (These are small aerial decoys that protect from incoming missiles. They can be let out of the back of an airplane, shot into the air by a projectile system (such as the MLRS Launcher), or dropped to earth from airplanes. They are most commonly used in DMI aircraft to defend against enemy fighters and incoming missiles – however they have been employed in ground units as well. They are designed with geometry that allows them to maintain speed and height while flying through the air and maintaining a very large radar cross section. The radar cross section of the DAC is nearly the same as the average size vehicle and therefore looks like a vehicle to the incoming missile. The DAC also transmits a radar-jamming signal, more specifically a noise jamming signal, so that the fighter and missile cannot retrieve any more information. The final mechanism of the DAC is to employ a IR signature equivalent to that of the average size vehicle so it is impossible to distinguish between the two.).

Its vital parts are hardened against EMP blasts by the EMP DAD system, though simply shutting down the vehicle (which the VCCS can do if it senses an EMP ready to detonate) will bypass any electro-magnetic pulse. It has a camouflaged exterior aided by the HES system, which is particularly utile as the frame is mostly planar without many awkward edges or pieces sticking up. Its rectangular body makes it a perfect candidate for the digital reproduction system:

The HES system can be activated to create "stealth" to the human eye. The HES system digitally reproduces the surrounding environment onto tiny LCD screens located on the entire surface of the vehicle. If working correctly the HES system can accurately reproduce its surroundings creating an active camouflage to the human eye. However the system is not perfect and can be affected by intensive lights and angels, which cause abnormalities in the reproduced image and making the vehicle easier to see.

Like many new vehicles on the battlefield, the Legionnaire is equipped with high tech sensors and equipment for optimal target acquisition, lock, and firing. The entire inside of the main cabin is surrounded by the SBRR system. It can create a simulation of the surround terrain and the destruction caused by firing on its targets.

The SBRR system is a satellite based reality reproduction system. Internal screens in the vehicle digitally reproduce the surroundings from thousands of mini cameras located all over the vehicle. The satellite system also allows for the user to look ahead around major obstacles and located a target that is not in the direct line of site. The onboard computer warns about hostile targets in the air and on the ground. It also comes with a missile early warning alert system that can show real time action of the incoming missile or projectile. The SBRR system is also connected to the helmet and fold down visor. The visor is made of two halves – one for each eye – and can be lowered and raised individually. The user can choose between normal view, 180 view, or advanced view: the normal view is what he would see on the window screens, the 180 view gives him a view of behind the vehicle looking back, and the advanced view allows to see ahead and around obstacles to see what lays in store. An onboard voice system allows the user to control the entire system with voice commands – although it is mostly used for weapon targeting and firing.

As well as the SBRR aiding the crew in operating the vehicle to its maximum performance, the VCCS is working to aid in communications, targeting, analysis and firing on the enemy:

A 512-bit encryption allows secure transmission of all signals and messages. An advanced navigation system, which is linked to all allied bases and satellites and radar systems, allows for the system to always know where it is on the battlefield as well as the enemy. Military linking and group co-ordination allow for advanced tactical strategy and the VCCS weapon system. The highly advanced onboard weapon system that along with the navigation and linking components, targets the enemies on the battlefield and destroys them. The VCCS communicates with the unknown combatant and depending on the resulting signal it distinguishes friend from foe. If the unknown combatant also has a VCCS then the communication time is almost instant. After finding out that the combatant is a foe, the VCCS chooses the best onboard weaponry to use against the enemy and then targets and fires. The targeting and firing system can be manually turned off so that it merely alerts the crew of the enemy. A computer monitors the crew’s vitals and if they are unable to complete their jobs for various reasons (i.e. knocked or killed) the VCCS will take over. It can carry out the targeting and firing priorities, maneuver back to safe territory, or evade the enemy using a database of maneuvers.

In its newest incarnation, the Legionnaire has had four laser defense points installed.

Dr. Hell, named as such for its devastating power and as an acronym "High Energy Liquid Laser Missile Defense" (the last two being M.D. also stand for Doctor), is one of the newest technologies in the Dominion arsenal. After extensive research and trillions of dollars put into the operation, the system was produced in a compact manner that still delivered a 300-kilowatt beam. The device is contained in a five-by-two-by-one-foot unit, which can be manipulated so that the laser can move one hundred fifty degrees (front to back). The deuterium hydrogen laser is powered by an advanced, large hydrogen fuel cell combined with solar panels on the surface of whatever it is emplaced on.

When deuterium is used instead of hydrogen, the deuterium fluoride, lases at the wavelength of about 3.8 µm. This makes the deuterium fluoride laser usable for terrestrial operations. The deuterium fluoride laser constructionally resembles a rocket engine. In the combustion chamber, ethylene is burned in nitrogen trifluoride. This reaction produces free excited fluorine radicals. Just after the nozzle, the mixture of helium and hydrogen or deuterium gas is injected to the exhaust stream; the hydrogen or deuterium reacts with the fluorine radicals, producing excited molecules of deuterium or hydrogen fluoride. The excited molecules then undergo stimulated emission in the optical resonator region of the laser.

The laser, as previously stated, is primarily a missile defense system. The high-energy beam, targeted by an advanced onboard computer and capable of being connected to a vehicle's main computer, locks on and reaches its target at incredible speeds faster than anything it is targeting. When the laser beam makes contact with its target, their are different possible results: it could possibly disintegrate the armor, heat shield, or adhesive measures effectively ripping the missile apart at such high speeds; it could cause the warhead to prematurely detonate, destroying the missile in midair; it could destroy the onboard computer and guidance system sending the missile off-track; it could, through quite rarely, if it manages to contact the engine and/or fuel, cause it to explode. However, the laser can also be used on other targets with varying results, the best being another aircraft due to the nature of its design and location.
