We thank you for your order. But as we explained to Angelonisia - the F-90s are not currently ready for sale.

Unfortunately we have to deny your order as the Angels are not quite ready for sale yet - We have found a few defects and are removing them from international sale until fixed. Also the government has recently engaged in a war and does not want the technology being compromised. We again apologize for this and will try to fix the problems soon.

We have removed the price of the Angels from your order - The new total is 361,700,000,000 USD. We apologize for the problem and will have it fixed soon.

The People's Republic has found its forces lacking in anti-armor and riot control capabilities. Therefore, it in the intrest of the people to buy more.

190,000 RPG-7 - $960 = 182,400,000
190,000 M249 SAW - $4,100 = 779,000,000
Total for shipment #1: $961,400,000

And a study has shown it to be more economical to simply run over the pesky rioters with a truck whenever possable, therefore, PROHT would like to buy:

500 M113A1 Armored Personnel Carrier - 850K = 425,000,000
Tota for order 2: $875,000,000

We have recently recieved a memo from the Federation of Joint Congolomerates. They are asking us to blacklist your nation and in return will send pay double of what you have paid so far.

Although we have a policy not to blacklist any nations without personal problems, and you have been one of our main customers - we have thus far denied the request. However we have kept lines of communication open and just want to warn you that anything is possible.

I am sending you a copy of the messages...

We are intrigued by your proposition. We completely see your angle and the Dominion of DMG might even be supporting you in the war if Southeastasia wasn't such a large customer of our goods. You see, Southeastasia has currently bought a total of 650+ Billion USD in products and is one of our biggest customers.

Although we have a policy not to reject any nations or corporations unless we have personal problems with them, we are willing to talk before saying no. Double of what Southeastasia has bought equals 1.3 Trillion USD, however we would also need to add in lost business from future purchases by Southeastasia. ...

AH-12 Phoenix
*DMG Original*

History
The Dominion of DMG needed a new primary attack helicopter that could move with the swiftness of a eagle and still pack the punch of a 15,000 pound piece of hardened military equipment. The Dominion contracted DMG Military Industries to create the new chopper and so the Phoenix was born.

The Phoenix was created as a master of the skies, with the ability to out-maneuver, out-run, and out gun any enemy on the battlefield. As it descends on its prey it prepares to unleash a massive strike capable of destroying anything it targets. It is a ruthless killer, built and bred to stalk its prey until the proper time for it to pounce and demolish anything in its path. When the enemy faces the Phoenix in battle, he knows that he will be shown no compassion or mercy, but a quick death is assured.

Cockpit and Control Systems
The cockpit, being the most vital part of the aircraft, has been advanced to the limits of technology. It has start-of-the-art computers and systems that make the Phoenix one of the most dangerous aircraft in the sky.

Onboard Computer
The main computer system of the Phoenix is the Omni-Sense RX90, which is an advanced version of the VCCS, which is employed by DMG Military Industries. The basic VCCS G-II controls the entire helicopter and is basically a second pilot if the real pilot is unable to do his job. It contains the following technology:

A 512 bit encryption allows secure transmission of all signals and messages. An advanced navigation system, which is linked to all allied bases and satellites and radar systems, allows for the system to always know where it is on the battle field as well as the enemy. Military linking and group co-ordination allow for advanced tactical strategy and the VCCS weapon system. The highly advanced onboard weapon system that along with the navigation and linking components, targets the enemies on the battlefield and destroys them. The VCCS communicates with the unknown combatant and depending on the resulting signal it distinguishes friend from foe. If the unknown combatant also has a VCCS then the communication time is almost instant. After finding out that the combatant is a foe, the VCCS chooses the best onboard weaponry to use against the enemy and then targets and fires. The targeting and firing system can be manually turned off so that it merely alerts the crew of the enemy. A computer monitors the pilot’s vitals and if the pilot is unable to fly the plane for various reasons (i.e. knocked out from the AMMiD system) the VCCS will take over. It can carry out the targeting and firing priorities, fly it back to safe territory, or evade the enemy using a database of maneuvers.

The Omni-Sense RX90 employs even more features in its state-of-the-art design. The database of maneuvers contains pre-programmed moves and also studies the pilot’s and enemy pilot’s moves and adds them or a superior move to the database. The RX90 supervises the plains structure and reports any problems or future problems to the pilot – also it provides the best course of action for the problem and can execute that action if need be. The computer is programmed with various missions from bombing runs, intercepting missions, close air support, ground assault, and many others so that it can execute without the help of the pilot. The RX90 has the UVC system installed, which using satellites and high frequency signals communicates with the unmanned vehicle and allows an operative anywhere in the world control it as a pilot would. The RX90 can also activate the following systems which are built into the aircraft: DAC, AMMiD, EMP DAD, HES, SBRR, and Archangel Stealth System G-IV (all explained later).

Interactive – Screens and controls
The controls of the aircraft are an advanced SBRR system. The SBRR system contains the following:

The SBRR system is a satellite based reality reproduction system. The windows on the front of the aircraft are actually screens that digitally reproduce the surroundings from thousands of mini cameras located all over the aircraft – however they can be turned off so that the windows are transparent. The satellite system also allows for the pilot to look ahead around major obstacles and located a target that is not in the direct line of site. The onboard computer warns about hostile targets in the area. It also comes with a missile early warning alert system that can show real time action of the incoming missile. The SBRR system is also connected to the helmet and fold down visor. The visor is made of two halves – one for each eye – and can be lowered and raised individually. The pilot can choose between normal view, 180 view, or advanced view: the normal view is what he would see on the window screens, the 180 view gives him a view of behind the aircraft looking backwards, and the advanced view allows to see ahead and around obstacles to see what lays in store. An onboard voice system allows the pilot to control the entire system with voice commands – it can be used for weapon targeting and firing, to fly the aircraft, communicate with other systems or ground control, and any other possibility. It is almost as if playing a fighter pilot video game... at 50,000 feet.

In the next generation of SBRR, which is used in the Phoenix, there are a few upgrades. The windows and fold down bi-visor have had glare-resistant materials added to them along with light reduction materials and systems so the pilot can look in the direction of the sun without being blinded. The advanced view of the SBRR system has been upgraded so that it can study the possible courses of action the pilot has based on where enemies are. It can then determine how other nearby allies and enemies would react to the conflict and what the probable outcome would be – very handy if you would like to know if you are going to die or not. All alerts will show up on the screens and be announced by the computer voice system – if it is determined to be urgent enough and the pilot doesn’t take the a proper course of action, the Omni-Sense RX90 will take over and execute the best course of action – whether it be bomb a target or evade an enemy. The SBRR system is designed to be extremely user friendly and wield the best results as to provide the pilot with everything he could need from munitions left to top secret information on future targets.

Propulsion
The Phoenix is powered by twin TLS750 turbines which combined produce a total of 7100 pounds of thrust (3550 pounds of thrust each). They are fully encased in double layered Triad Armour, which protects them against any small projectiles. The engines are capable of propelling the Phoenix to helicopters’ limits of roughly 250 miles per hour.

The main propeller on top of the fuselage has four rotors. The Phoenix however has no rear stabilizer propellers. Instead it relies on a computer controlled rear exhaust vent system (REVS), which measures the movement of the helicopter and calculates how much exhaust needs to be diverted to the rear vent system in order to stabilize the helicopter. The REVS deals with less moving parts and no external parts so it cuts down on any mechanical problems and creates a smaller RCS for the helicopter.

The Phoenix also utilizes a Linear Thrust Vectoring System (LTVS), which allows for the pilot to maneuver the helicopter vertically as well as horizontally in a much fast and cleaner movement. Around the center of the fuselage a ring of vent systems allows the pilot to redirect the thrust of the turbines to push the helicopter in a drastically different direction at high speeds. The LTVS also has small jet-like vents systems that allow for faster forward and backward movement.

The new thrust and propulsion system of the Phoenix makes it the master of the skies with unmatchable speed and maneuverability. While it is extremely hard to match in maneuverability but the unpredictability of its movements is what is really dangerous. The Phoenix can now accomplish maneuvers that were once unheard of for helicopters including things like barrel rolls.

Design
The Phoenix was designed to be a high powered but importantly stealthy and have supreme combat survivability, which is why every aspect of the bird was designed to fulfill those requisites. The structure of the aircraft is built from Eboride Ticobium nanorods, an amazingly strong synthesized alloy. It is highly resistant to puncturing and its melting point is at extreme temperatures over 8000 degrees. It requires heavy machinery and advanced technology to produce and mold into the required design - but its usefulness and strength make it the perfect material. The cockpit, like the engines, is encased with a double layering of Eboride Ticobium nanorods to provide maximum safety for the pilot and onboard systems. The engines and fuel cells are encased in flame retardant foam to prevent fires from getting out of hand or spreading to the fuselage or cockpit.

The glass of the cockpit is triple reinforced bullet proof so that flying shards or bullets don’t penetrate it. The sides and bottom of the cockpit are layered with a combination of reinforced Kevlar and HRMs. The HRMs are Heat Reconstruction Molecules which when heated to a certain temperature, which all bullets would reach upon impact, it hardens to prevent passage of the bullet and then repairs itself back to its original form. This means that in the unfortunate case a bullet strikes in the same spot twice, it would not be any different than hitting it where it was undamaged.

The wheels fold away into the body of the Phoenix so that they don’t produce drag or a larger RCS. When the Phoenix is damaged for any reason the wheels automatically fold out and lock into the landing position in case of an emergency or unexpected landing.

Continuing with its survivability design, the Phoenix is designed with an escape module. Basically when necessary the Linear Vertical Thrust System takes over as the propellers fold into the fuselage allowing for a safe exit. Next the entire cockpit ejects from the fuselage of the helicopter and is jettisoned forward and upward. The entire cockpit is airtight sealed so that if it lands in water it will not leak and instead is buoyant. If all else fails, the pilot can use a direct ejector seat from the cockpit in which he will be shot out of his seat and then parachute back to the ground.

Stealth
The Phoenix was built to be a very stealthy helicopter that could rival most radar systems in existence. Its shape was intentionally built with a lot of angles that direct the radar waves away from the aircraft rather than back at the radar. The entire aircraft is coated with radar absorbing materials and its missile systems are held in internal bays. The main machine gun is held under the tip of the nose in a small enclosed bay, which opens up when firing the gun.

The onboard systems attempt to confuse or jam all signals that pass by or at the helicopter and although they can’t do the full job they can help in small doses. The computer systems can trick the enemy radar by reproducing the same signal back at the enemy radar but showing different things; such as a fleet of helicopters or a fast moving fighter plane or just simply the helicopter being in a different place or heading in a different direction than it actually is.

The biggest threat to the Phoenix, while performing short range ground support missions, is handheld IR tracking guided missiles systems. That is why the helicopter is decked out with heat dissipaters and air cooling systems to diminish its infrared signal.

When landed the HES system can be activated to create "stealth" to the human eye. The HES system digitally reproduces the surrounding environment onto tiny LCD screens located on the entire surface of the helicopter. If working correctly the HES system can accurately reproduce its surroundings creating an active camouflage to the human eye. However the system is not perfect and can be affected by intensive lights and angels, which cause abnormalities in the reproduced image and making the helicopter easier to see.

The final and most advanced stealth system on the Phoenix is the Generation-IV Archangel Stealth System.

Generation I – In this system, incoming radar beams are detected by various sensors around the vehicle. This information in sent to a computer that works out the location of the radar site, and sends back a counter signal that negates the reflected radar beam. The effectiveness of the system decreases as the number of radar sites increases.
Generation II – In addition to the system in the first generation, jamming capabilities have been added. This has three settings: Destruction, this is where the system overloads enemy radar systems and causes them to be destroyed; Swarm, this is where the system generates hundreds and thousands of images on the enemy radar, causing them to loose accuracy in foretelling enemy numbers, and attempting to single targets out for missile lock; Misdirection, this is where the system co-ordinates with the onboard Wraith system (if detected) so that each vehicle generated by the Wraith system, also has a radar signature generated by the Archangel system.
Generation III - In the wake of new radar systems that use self canceling radar waves to detect the presence of newer generation active stealth systems, the Archangel system was redesigned to incorporate wave projection into it, allowing it to compare the incoming signals against atmospheric conditions to decide the right waves to return.
Generation IV - More of an update than a true evolution, the G-IV incorporates a sound deadening system that sends out sound waves that are in anti-phase to the sound created by the vehicle. Though the system is unlikely to totally eliminate the sound created, it will reduce it by a significant amount, allowing audio confirmation by the enemy to be ignored.

The heat produced from all of these systems creates a detectable signature for enemy sensors and missiles. However, this can be countered by the liqui-gel and water rotating cooling system that masks the heat and removes it from the aircraft. The Liqui-Gel Coolant System is as follows:

A synthetic gel is pasted around the entire interior of the aircraft's structure and the energy providers for the two systems. The gel, which has been cooled to subzero temperatures while on the ground, maintains its temperature to within a degree for nearly thirty-two hours (if not affected except by the natural environment). However, when in contact with an atmosphere heated to several thousand degrees like that of the aircraft's interior systems, its temperature rises much quicker, absorbing heat the heat. In order to allow the aircraft to fly for hours without overcoming the gel's maximum capacity, it is aided by a water coolant system. Purified water is held in a tank inside the body of the plane and is pumped through tiny pipes that follow wherever the gel is located. Thus the heat is transferred from the plane to the gel to the water. When the water begins heating, it is transferred to an output system, which allows the liquid to exit the plane and evaporate as vapor. Meanwhile, as the plane cuts through the skies, the surface collects water molecules, especially when flying through clouds, and allows them to enter the piping system to replace the water. While most aircraft are advised to avoid rainstorms, this sealed and secured aircraft actually benefits from the water droplets. This system does its job and keeps the heat signature to a minimal level.

Armoring and Defensive Systems
The outside of the helicopter is made from modified Triad Armour that has been strengthened with various materials and is more heat resistant now (The actual weight of the armor used on the Phoenix has been classified by the Dominion government and DMG Military Industries):

This armor is composed of three layers. The first is a self-healing layer, composed of a glue-like substance between two thin layers. When the substance comes into contact with air it begins to congeal and harden, forming a cover over the hole. This only works on smaller holes - missile damage is impossible to heal. The second layer is a titanium-aluminum alloy to provide torsional stiffness and some protection from bullets. The third layer is a carbon-silicon nano-mesh that will seriously slow down any bullets that penetrate the first two layers, preventing them from doing damage to internal mechanics. The armor is roughly 10kg per square meter.

The Guardian Angel is also armored with ERA armor that protects it against missiles and projectiles.

The DMG Military Industries' custom DAC system also protects it from missiles with the following technology:

These are small aerial decoys that protect from incoming missiles. They can be let out of the back of an aircraft, shot into the air by a projectile system, or dropped to earth from various aircraft. They are most commonly used in DMI aircraft to defend against enemy fighters and incoming missiles. They are designed with geometry that allows them to maintain speed and height while flying through the air and maintaining a very large radar cross section. The radar cross section of the DAC is nearly the same as the average size fighter and therefore looks like a fighter on radar. The DAC also transmits a radar jamming signal, more specifically a noise jamming signal, so that the fighter and missile can retrieve any more information. The final mechanism of the DAC is to employ an IR signature equivalent to that of the fighter so it is impossible to distinguish between the two.

To protect against EMP missiles and bombs that the Guardian Angel employs a defensive system that is composed of multiple systems. The EMP DAD is the following:

As the acronym implies (DAD) it watches over your military and protects them from harmful EMPs. A highly advanced early warning system detects activating EMPs. It then shuts down all electronic systems and temporarily disconnects the power sources (In aircraft, in conjunction with the AMMiD system it thrusts the plane at an upward direction to maintain momentum when the power is cut – this part of the system can be turned off). The EMP DAD system also activates very small electro-magnets on the outside of the vehicle that create an electro-magnetic shield to oppose the EMP. The e-m shield has a 1-100,000 chance of being penetrated, although this is not a major issue as the EMP causes no harm because the electronics have been shut down.

The third defensive system, AMMiD, against incoming missiles is a maneuvering system that is completely computer controlled.

Joint with the radar and onboard early warning missile system it takes control of the aircraft for a short time to avoid an incoming missile. While tracking incoming missiles, the AMMiD system, warns the pilot of their launch and then when the missiles are within 10 seconds of impact again warns the pilot of the CATO (computerized aircraft take over) system. When the missile is 4 seconds away the CATO system, keeping in mind hostile forces and terrain, decides on the best course of action; either it can roll left, roll right, burn the thrusters and pull up rapidly, or hit the brakes and descend rapidly. Hopefully the missile will fly right by - although if the pilot is not prepared or in good enough physical shape, the maneuvers can cause physical and mental harm.

The final, most advanced system used to protect the aircraft from both missiles and enemy aircraft. The laser defense system is an advanced technology that can be used in both defense of the aircraft as well as in an attempt to down another aircraft. This aircraft has three of the devices, two in the rear on either side of the bottom of the fuselage and one in the nose. The two rear systems have been adjusted to allow thirty-degree rotation from side-to-side and one hundred fifty degree adjustment from front-to-back. The front laser can move twenty degrees in every direction (the maximum forming a circle).

Dr. Hell, named as such for its devastating power and as an acronym "High Energy Liquid Laser Missile Defense" (the last two being M.D. also stand for Doctor), is one of the newest technologies in the Dominion arsenal. After extensive research and trillions of dollars put into the operation, the system was produced in a compact manner that still delivered a 300-kilowatt beam. The device is contained in a five-by-two-by-one-foot unit, which can be manipulated so that the laser can move one hundred fifty degrees (front to back). The deuterium hydrogen laser is powered by an advanced, large hydrogen fuel cell combined with solar panels on the surface of whatever it is emplaced on.

When deuterium is used instead of hydrogen, the deuterium fluoride, lases at the wavelength of about 3.8 µm. This makes the deuterium fluoride laser usable for terrestrial operations. The deuterium fluoride laser constructionally resembles a rocket engine. In the combustion chamber, ethylene is burned in nitrogen trifluoride. This reaction produces free excited fluorine radicals. Just after the nozzle, the mixture of helium and hydrogen or deuterium gas is injected to the exhaust stream; the hydrogen or deuterium reacts with the fluorine radicals, producing excited molecules of deuterium or hydrogen fluoride. The excited molecules then undergo stimulated emission in the optical resonator region of the laser.

The laser, as previously stated, is primarily a missile defense system. The high-energy beam, targeted by an advanced onboard computer and capable of being connected to a vehicle's main computer, locks on and reaches its target at incredible speeds faster than anything it is targeting. When the laser beam makes contact with its target, their are different possible results: it could possibly disintegrate the armor, heat shield, or adhesive measures effectively ripping the missile apart at such high speeds; it could cause the warhead to prematurely detonate, destroying the missile in midair; it could destroy the onboard computer and guidance system sending the missile off-track; it could, through quite rarely, if it manages to contact the engine and/or fuel, cause it to explode. However, the laser can also be used on other targets with varying results, the best being another aircraft due to the nature of its design and location.

(See below for Angel Turret – missile defense system)

Armament
The Phoenix was designed to pack a might punch as well as being able to survive. The weapons systems of the Phoenix are controlled via the SBRR or Omni-Sense RX90 super computer. The RX90 can find enemies on the battlefield and target and eliminate them with the weapons. All onboard weapons are stored inside the aircraft as to minimize the radar cross section, so it has been designed with two internal missile bays capable of housing six short, medium, and long range air-to-air missiles or air-to-surface munitions. The missile launch system is a revolver type loading and firing system. The bay doors open a millisecond before firing and then close immediately after to maintain its low RCS.

On the outside of the aircraft, above the internal missile bay on either side is a panel that can be removed and uncover a pylon attachment suite. A missile pylon can be added to both sides of the helicopter, thus increasing its missile capabilities to 24 total missiles. Adding the missile pylons will increase the weapons capabilities but will also decrease radar immensely and slow the helicopter in speed slightly.

At the nose of the helicopter is a Hell-Raiser Heavy Machine Gun, which is stored inside a bay that opens itself when firing, commences. When moving at low speeds or hovering the Hell-Raiser can be programmed to lock onto targets moving at X or greater speed. This can be very effective for wiping out a pathetic retreating enemy platoon, as all you have to do is click – no pointing involved.

The Phoenix also incorporates the newly created Angel turret to defend against incoming missiles.
DMG Military Industries purchased the rights to a product used on naval vessels called the Guardian Turret. When the F-90 Guardian Angel was drawn up and named the designers insisted it had a modified Guardian Turret on it. Unfortunately the Guardian Turret could only be used in water so the model was kept but a new Angel Turret was created on the frame of the Guardian Turret.

Though the new Angel Turret was created specifically for and in use on the F-90 Guardian Angel, it was installed in the AH-12 Phoenix for use. It was hooked up to the RX90 super computer and it is used as a system to stop incoming missiles. The gun loads its bullets from a centrifuge that allows them to go at much faster speeds than a normal machine gun. It was placed on the back of the plane so to guard it from behind.

The Phoenix is capable of engaging targets:
Ground units (Armor; infantry; vehicles)
Naval ships
Submarines
Enemy aircraft (low altitude airplanes; helicopters)
Fortifications (structures; gun emplacements)

Understood. BTW, since I bought, like, 11,000 M1A2s and twelve carrier fleets and all kinds of stuff, I have an OOC question for you. Can you suggest to me what should be reasonable logistics?

ooc: http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=275828 A link that gives some information on the amount of people and equipment that you will have as logistics support. Read through that and hopefully that will help. Also remember- most of your forces are going to be logictics support. Hope that helps.

Dear CEO of DMI,

We see that the Corporate Entente has made an offer for you to join their ranks. Go ahead if you wish. With genuine honesty, all my country's government (and people) wanted to do was really, be friends with the company of the nation that helped rebuild her army from outdated equipment junk. We felt that we owed you a favor and thought having an alliance was the best we could offer. Anyway, while we are still fine with each other, I have an order to make. We request eight million land warrior systems, and uniforms, and a hundred ghillie suits.

Sincerely,
His Excellency,
USNSEA Minister of Defense

OOC: Dammit, what I meant to say was that Southeastasia wanted to be allies with DMG, not the company (but something tells me that DMI are eventually going to be good business partners with currently tiny WACI in the future). Sorry if you were confused.

IC:

Dear Corin Thaul,

Thank you for being kind and understanding. And thank you for being an honorable businessman. And yes, we have a seperate order to make. We remember you offered to our nation long ago about the Big Navy Package. We were then satisfied with our single carrier fleet back then. Now that the USNSEA is under threat, and in with a bigger navy in demand, we request one Big Navy Package.

Chemical Weapons

Sarin Gas
Cost: 20 Million USD per kg

Like other nerve agents, Sarin attacks the nervous system of the human body.
When a functioning motor nerve is stimulated it releases the neurotransmitter acetylcholine to transmit the impulse to a muscle or organ. Once the impulse has been sent, the enzyme acetylcholinesterase breaks down the acetylcholine in order to allow the muscle or organ to relax.

Sarin is an extremely potent organophosphate compound that disrupts the nervous system by inhibiting the cholinesterase enzyme by forming a covalent bond with the site of the enzyme where acetylcholine normally undergoes hydrolysis. This allows acetylcholine to build up and continue to act so that any nerve impulses are, in effect, continually transmitted.

Initial symptoms following exposure to Sarin are a runny nose, tightness in the chest and contraction of the pupils. Soon after, the victim has difficulty breathing and experiences nausea and drooling. As the victim continues to lose control of bodily functions, he vomits, defecates and urinates. This phase is followed by twitching and jerking. Ultimately, the victim becomes comatose and suffocates as a consequence of convulsive spasms.

Mustard Gas
Cost: 8 Million USD per kg

The compound readily eliminates chloride ion by intramolecular nucleophilic substitution to form a cyclic sulfonium ion. This very reactive intermediate is particularly detrimental to cellular health as it has a strong tendency to bond to the guanine nitrogen in DNA strands. This leads to either immediate cellular death or, as recent research has found, cancer. Mustard gas is not very soluble in water but is very soluble in fat, contributing to its rapid absorption into the skin.

Mustard gas is a strong vesicant (a compound that causes blisters). Those exposed usually suffer no immediate symptoms. The exposure develops (in 4 to 24 hours) into deep, itching or burning blisters wherever the mustard contacted the skin; the eyes (if exposed) become sore and the eyelids swollen, possibly leading to conjunctivitis and blindness. At very high concentrations, if inhaled, it causes bleeding and blistering within the respiratory system, damaging the mucous membrane and leading to pulmonary edema. Blister agent exposure over more than 50% body surface area is usually fatal.

VX Gas
Cost: 25 Million USD per kg

The VX nerve agent is the most well-known of the V-series of nerve agents. Its chemical name is O-ethyl S-(2-diisopropylaminoethyl) methylphosphonothioate. VX agent is considered an area denial weapon due to its physical properties.

VX has the texture and feel of high-grade motor oil with its low viscosity, and its low volatility. This makes it especially dangerous, as it has a high persistence in the environment. It is odorless and tasteless, and can be distributed as a liquid or, through evaporation, into small amounts of vapor. It works as a nerve agent by blocking the function of the enzyme acetylcholinesterase. Normally, an electric nerve pulse would cause the release of acetylcholine over a synapse that would touch the post-synaptic neuron. This continues the transmission of a nerve signal over the synapse. The excess acetylcholine is then hydrolyzed to non-reactive substances (acetic acid and choline). VX blocks acetylcholinesterase's diffusing properties, thus causing nerves to fire continuously resulting in contractions of all the "involuntary" muscles in the body.

Often regarded as the deadliest nerve agent created to date, as little as 10 mg is enough to kill an average person.

BZ – Agent 15
Cost: 10 Million USD per kg

The characteristic that makes BZ an incapacitating rather than a toxic chemical warfare agent is its high safety ratio. The amount required to produce effects is a thousand or more fold less than a fatal dose of the compound. In terms of Ct products (admittedly a sometimes problematic way of measuring dosage received after aerosol exposure), the ICt50 (the Ct product needed to produce incapacitation in 50% of an exposed group) for BZ is 112 mg•min/m³, whereas the Ld50 is estimated to be 200,000 mg•min/m³.

Toxicodynamics (mechanism of action)

The agent BZ and other anticholinergic glycolates act as competitive inhibitors of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine neurons (1) at postjunctional muscarinic receptors in cardiac and smooth muscle and in exocrine (ducted) glands and (2) at postsynaptic receptors in neurons. As the concentration of BZ at these sites increases, the proportion of receptors available for binding to acetylcholine decreases and the end organ "sees" less acetylcholine. (One way of visualizing this process is to imagine BZ coating the surface of the end organ and preventing acetylcholine from reaching its receptors.) Because BZ has little to no agonist activity with respect to acetylcholine, high concentrations of BZ essentially substitute a "dud" for acetylcholine at these sites and lead to clinical effects reflective of understimulation of end organs.

Peripheral Effects:
Mydriasis, blurred vision
Dry mouth, skin
Initially rapid heart rate; later, normal or slow heart rate
Possible atropine flush

The PNS effects of BZ are, in general, readily understood as those of understimulation of end organs and are qualitatively similar to those of atropine. Decreased stimulation of eccrine and apocrine sweat glands in the skin results in dry skin (an affected patient can be "dry as a bone") and a reduction in the ability to dissipate heat by evaporative cooling. The skin becomes warm ("hot as a hare") partly from decreased sweating and partly from compensatory cutaneous vasodilatation (the patient becomes "red as a beet," with a so-called atropine flush) as the body attempts to shunt a higher proportion of core-temperature blood as close as possible to the surface of the skin. With decreased heat loss, the core temperature itself rises.

Understimulation of other exocrine glands leads to xerostomia (dry mouth, another way in which the patient is "dry as a bone"), thirst, and decreased secretions from lacrimal, nasal, bronchial, and gastrointestinal glands.

Decreased cholinergic stimulation of pupillary sphincter muscles allows alpha-adrenergically innervated pupillary dilating muscles to act essentially unopposed, resulting in mydriasis. (In fact, the cosmetic effect of mydriasis in women who applied extracts of deadly nightshade topically to their eyes explains the name "belladonna" given to this plant.) Similar effects on cholinergic ciliary muscles produce paralysis of accommodation. Classically, the patient is described as being "blind as a bat." Other smooth muscle effects from BZ intoxication include decreased bladder tone and decreased urinary force with possibly severe bladder distention (yet another way in which the patient may be said to be "dry as a bone").

BZ typically raises the heart rate initially, but hours later, depending on the dose of BZ, the heart rate falls to normal or may become slow. Either the peripheral vagal blockade has ceased or the stimulation of the vagal nucleus has occurred.

Neither atropine nor BZ can act directly at the postjunctional nicotinic receptors found in skeletal muscle, but BZ-exposed patients nonetheless exhibit muscle weakness. This weakness, along with incoordination, heightened stretch reflexes, and ataxia, is probably due to the effects of BZ at CNS sites.

The PNS effects of BZ are essentially side effects that are useful in diagnosis, but incidental to the CNS effects for which the incapacitating agents were developed. These CNS effects include a dose-dependent decrease in the level of consciousness, beginning with drowsiness and progressing through sedation to stupor and coma. The patient is often disoriented to time and place. Disturbances in judgment and insight appear. The patient may abandon socially imposed restraints and resort to vulgar and inappropriate behavior. Perceptual clues may no longer be readily interpretable, and the patient is easily distracted and may have memory loss, most notably short-term memory. In the face of these deficits, the patient still tries to make sense of his environment and will not hesitate to make up answers on the spot to questions that confuse him. Speech becomes slurred and often senseless, and loss of inflection produces a flat, monotonous voice. References become concrete and semiautomatic with colloquialisms, clichés, profanity, and perseveration. Handwriting also deteriorates. Semiautomatic behavior may also include disrobing (perhaps partly because of increased body temperature), mumbling, and phantom behaviors such as constant picking, plucking, or grasping motions ("woolgathering" or carphology).

Central effects
Disturbances in level of consciousness
Misperceptions and difficulty in interpretation (delusions, hallucinations)
Poor judgement and insight (denial of illness)
Short attention span, distractibility, impaired memory (particularly recent)
Slurred speech, perseveration
Disorientation
Ataxia
Variability (quiet/restless)

Central nervous system mediated perceptual disturbances in BZ poisoning include both illusions (misidentification of real objects) and hallucinations (the perception of objects or attributes that have no objective reality). (Although the phrase "mad as a hatter" refers to poisoning from mercury formerly used by hatters on felt, it can just as well serve as a reminder of CNS effects from anticholinergics.) Anticholinergic hallucinations differ from the often vague, ineffable, and often transcendent-appearing hallucinations induced by hallucinogenic indoles such as LSD. Hallucinations from BZ tend to be realistic, distinct, easily identifiable (often commonly encountered objects or persons), and panoramic. They also have the tendency to decrease in size during the course of the intoxication.

Another prominent CNS finding in BZ poisoning is behavioral lability, with patients swinging back and forth between quiet confusion and self-absorption in hallucinations, to frank combativeness. Moreover, as other symptoms begin to resolve, intermittent paranoia may be seen. Automatic behaviors common during resolution include the crawling or climbing motions called "progresso obstinato" in old descriptions of dementia.

Q Fever
Cost: 5 Million USD per kg

Q fever is a zoonosis caused by the strictly intracellular, gram negative bacterium Coxiella burnetii which proceeds asymptomatic and self-limiting in 60% of the cases. The infectious organism is commonly found in cattle, sheep, goats and other domestic mammals. The infection results from inhalation of contaminated particles of the inhaled air. The incubation time is 9-40 days. It is considered possibly the most infectious disease in the world, as a human being can be infected by a single bacterium.

The most common manifestation is flu-like symptoms with abrupt onset of fever, malaise, severe headache, myalgia (muscle pain), loss of appetite, dry cough, pleuritic pain, chills, confusion and gastro-intestinal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea. The fever lasts approximately 7-14 days.

During the course, the disease can progress to an atypical pneumonia, which often results in an life threatening acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), whereby such symptoms usually occur during the first 4-5 days of infection.

Less often the Q fever causes (granulomatous) hepatitis which becomes symptomatic with malaise, fever, liver enlargement (hepatomegaly), pain in the right upper quadrant of the abdomen and jaundice (icterus).

The chronic form of the Q fever is virtually identical with the inflammation of the inner lining of the heart (endocarditis), which can occur after months or decades following the infection. It is usually deadly if untreated. However, with appropriate treatment this lethality is around 10%.

Anthrax
Cost: 20 Million USD per kg

Anthrax, called also splenic fever, is an acute infectious disease caused by the bacteria Bacillus anthracis and is highly lethal in its most virulent form. Anthrax most commonly occurs in wild and domestic herbivores, but it can also occur in humans when they are exposed to infected animals, tissue from infected animals, or high concentrations of anthrax spores. Still there are no cases of people who got sick through contact with a diseased person. Anthrax means "coal" in Greek, and is used because victims develop black skin lesions.

Anthrax can enter the human body through the intestines, lungs (inhalation), or skin (cutaneous). Anthrax is non-contagious, and is unlikely to spread from person to person.

Pulmonary (pneumonic, respiratory, inhalation) anthrax
Inhalation infection initially presents with cold or flu-like symptoms for several days, followed by severe (and often fatal) respiratory problems. If not treated soon after exposure, before symptoms appear, inhalation infection is the most deadly, with a nearly 100% mortality rate. A lethal case of anthrax is reported to result from inhaling 10,000-20,000 spores. This form of the disease has also been known as Woolsorters' disease. Other routes have included the slicing up of animal horns for the manufacture of buttons, and handling bristles used for the manufacturing of brushes.

Gastrointestinal (gastroenteric) anthrax
Gastrointestinal infection often presents with serious gastrointestinal difficulty, vomiting of blood, and severe diarrhea. Untreated, intestinal infection results in a 25-60% death rate.

Cutaneous (skin) anthrax
Cutaneous infection presents with a large, painless necrotic ulcer (beginning as an irritating and itchy skin lesion or blister which is dark in color, usually concentrated as a black dot, somewhat resembling bread mold) at the site of infection, forming about a week or two after exposure. Unlike bruises or most other lesions, cutaneous anthrax does not cause pain. Cutaneous infection is the least deadly; without treatment, approximately 20% of all skin infection cases are fatal. Treated cutaneous anthrax is rarely fatal.

Ebola
Cost: 10 Million USD per kg

Ebola hemorrhagic fever is a very rare, but severe, usually fatal infectious disease occurring in humans and other primates, caused by the Ebola virus.

Among humans, the virus is transmitted by direct contact with infected body fluids such as blood. The incubation period is 2 to 21 days. Symptoms are variable and often appear suddenly. Initial symptoms include: high fever (at least 38.8° C, 101° F), severe headache, muscle/joint/abdominal pain, severe weakness and exhaustion, sore throat, nausea, and dizziness. Before an epidemic is suspected, these early symptoms are easily mistaken for malaria, typhoid fever, dysentery, or various bacterial infections, which are all far more common. The secondary symptoms often involve bleeding both internally and externally from any opening in the body. Dark or bloody stools and diarrhea, vomiting blood, red eyes from swollen blood vessels, red spots on the skin from subcutaneous bleeding, and bleeding from the nose, mouth, rectum, genitals and needle puncture sites. Other secondary symptoms include low blood pressure (less than 90mm Hg) and a fast but weak pulse, eventual organ damage including the kidney and liver by co-localized necrosis, and proteinuria (the presence of proteins in urine). From onset of symptoms to death (from shock due to blood loss or organ failure) is usually between 7 and 14 days .

Bubonic Plague
Cost: 5 Million USD per kg

Bubonic plague is an infectious disease that is believed to have caused several epidemics or pandemics throughout history. Bubonic plague is the most common form of plague, and is characterized by swollen, tender, inflamed lymph glands (called buboes); other forms are Septicemic plague, which occurs when plague bacteria multiply in the blood, and Pneumonic plague, which occurs when the lungs are infected.

The disease becomes evident 2–7 days after infection. Initial symptoms are chills, fever, headaches, and the formation of buboes. The buboes are formed by the infection of the lymph nodes, which swell and become prominent. If unchecked, the bacteria infects the bloodstream (septicemic plague), and can progress to the lungs (pneumonic plague).

In septicemic plague there is bleeding into the skin and other organs, which creates black patches on the skin, hence the name Black Death. Untreated septicemic plague is universally fatal, but early treatment with antibiotics (usually streptomycin or gentamicin) is effective, reducing the mortality rate to around 15% (USA 1980s). People who die from this form of plague often die on the same day symptoms first appear.

With pneumonic plague infecting lungs comes the possibility of person-to-person transmission through respiratory droplets. The incubation period for pneumonic plague is usually between two and four days, but can be as little as a few hours. The initial symptoms of headache, weakness, and coughing with hemoptysis are indistinguishable from other respiratory illnesses. Without diagnosis and treatment, the infection can be fatal in one to six days; mortality in untreated cases may be as high as 95%. The disease can be effectively treated with antibiotics.

Small Pox
Cost: 8 Million USD per kg

Smallpox (also known by the Latin names Variola or Variola vera) is a highly contagious disease unique to humans. It is caused by two virus variants called Variola major and Variola minor. V. major is the more deadly form, with a typical mortality of 20-40 percent of those infected. The other type, V. minor, only kills 1% of its victims. Many survivors are left blind in one or both eyes from corneal ulcerations, and persistent skin scarring - pockmarks - is nearly universal. Smallpox was responsible for an estimated 300-500 million deaths in the 20th century.

Transmission is by droplets, and infection in the natural disease will be via the lungs. The incubation period to obvious disease is around 12 days. In the initial growth phase the virus seems to move from cell to cell, but around the 12th day, lysis of many infected cells occurs and the virus will be found in the bloodstream in large numbers. The initial or prodromal symptoms are essentially similar to other viral diseases such as influenza and the common cold - fevers, muscle pain and stomach aches etc. The digestive tract is commonly involved, leading to vomiting. Most cases will be prostrated.

Smallpox virus preferentially attacks skin cells and by days 14-15, smallpox infection becomes obvious. The attack on skin cells causes the characteristic pimples associated with the disease. The pimples tend to erupt first in the mouth, then the arms and the hands, and later the rest of the body. At that point the pimples, called macules, should still be fairly small. This is the stage at which the victim is most contagious.

By days 15-16 the condition worsens - at this point the disease can take two vastly different courses. The first form is of classical ordinary smallpox, in which the pimples grow into papules, and then fill up with pus (turning them into pustules). Ordinary smallpox generally takes one of two basic courses. In discrete ordinary smallpox, the pustules stand out on the skin separately - there is a greater chance of surviving this form. In confluent ordinary smallpox, the blisters merge together into sheets which begin to detach the outer layers of skin from the underlying flesh - this form is usually fatal. If a victim of ordinary smallpox survives for the course of the disease, the pustules will deflate in time (the duration is variable), and will start to dry up, usually beginning on day 28. Eventually the pustules will completely dry and start to flake off. Once all of the pustules flake off, the patient is considered cured.

In the other form of smallpox, known as haemorrhagic smallpox, an entirely different set of symptoms starts to develop. The skin does not blister, but remains smooth. Instead, bleeding will occur under the skin, making the skin look charred and black (this is known as black pox). The eyes will also haemorrhage, making the whites of the eyes turn deep red (and, if the victim lives long enough, eventually black). At the same time, bleeding begins in the organs. Death may occur from bleeding (fatal loss of blood or by other causes such as brain haemorrhage), or from loss of fluid. The entry of other infectious organisms, since the skin and intestine are no longer a barrier, can also lead to multi-organ failure. This form of smallpox occurs in anywhere from 3-25% of fatal cases (depending on the virulence of the smallpox strain).

If you want a high speed land vehicle I would go with the Elusion Class - it is an SUV type vehicle but with high speed, fire power, and lots of advanced technology. Otherwise go with the Legionnaire S-15 for slightly more power, yet less speed. As for transport helicopters go with the MH-47 Chinook.

And finally a mobile command center helicopter... not very common or useful. Sorry don't have one of those, although we could probalby customize a chinook to make it a command center if you want.

Sir. Your advice has been most helpful.
I've decided I'll purchase 20 M113A3's if you have them and will use my 4 M113A2's as a trade in if possible. Two (2) Chinooks will also be purchased. As for the command helicoper, A chinook is just a little large for that. We'll look to civillian manufacturers for a suitable design. Thank you for your time.

Therefore we'll pay $39 million.
