Something that came up in a story i read somewhere, if someone expects you to torture them, ask for two random objects... say... a nailclipper and a sponge, chances are they will imagine something horrible and unless they want to find out if their right or not they will be quite willing to talk. Well, maybe not a nail clipper and a sponge, i can't think of much from that.

I appeared in a few picture book when i was younger. I was hansel in a hansel and grettel book and one or two other things :p

I pulled it out of my ass so that Harlin would stand a chance against a vampire. The rune covered knife was an invention as well.

All it takes to become useful is an imagination (and RP members who wouldn't call you on magically appearing items...).

I think he meant that Harlin hadn't gotten any from Shara, or at least hadn't anounced getting it prior to the point, rather than not sending any your way. It worked because he had the other character with the ability i guess. As for the runed dagger... i'm not sure.

Harlin said the Holy Water had been given to him by Shara when he used it against the vampire. Nowhere in the past was it written that Shara had given him holy water. He made it up basically.

He then passed the holy water to you, that was all fine. He was just saying he had been creative.

Kitab's got it. Shara never really "gave it" to Harlin. I just said she had. I always sort of imagined Harlin having a wide variety of knives and lock picks inside his armor... If anyone has a problem with that, now is the time to tell me so I don't make up anymore knives that can kill certain things.

The jutsu was already in her original description, she just forgot about it.

The holy water is allowable i would think, it's possible for Shara to have given it to him. The runed dagger is a bit more iffy.

i just checked page 9 for Harlin's original development, it would seem that you didn't specify your weapons or equipment, you would have to talk about special items with Blastit i guess.

True, bear in mind that you don't have to please everyone all the time, trying is nice, but in the end rarely works all the time.

I'm not sure exactly what Lup meant, i think it's about how you just threw it all in one post, but there isn't really an easy way to subtly add it in/explain it so there really isn't any problem as far as i can see. He wasn't objecting to the abilities.

Misunderstandings seem to be becoming increasingly common in this thread, If possible, can people wait a little before jumping to conclusion and/or getting annoyed if someone has jumped to a conclusion? It would really help keep things more cheerful, less interesting perhaps, but more friendly.

You shouldn't be forced to leave for problems which are beyond your control really. Your not really causing any harm to anyone else, your conclusions usually seem to be doing more harm to yourself than others, no offence as you said, you feel like you are being constantly criticised.

It's not just you anyway, i think a few people nerves are a bit frayed for whatever reasons. Several people are on a shortfuse it seems.

I'm just trying to keep everyone calm and working together, its my natural spot online so it's really no trouble for me. Offline's another matter :p.

And the meds that are sedating. But i will get thru it. I have had 3 years of hell, surgeries, cancer scares, blah blah... I think by the end of this year, things will be different. :D

I've had synusitis for almost as long as i can remember, which goes back to when i was 5 or so, no memeries of beyond that. Took them 8 years to realise it wasn't just a long stream of colds giving me constant headache's and all the other usual cold symptoms etc, It is apparently very rare for someone as young as i was/am to have it, got a deficiency in the thing that fights colds and that lot, makes me more susceptible. Had to have operations to get rid of it a few times, most recentely sometime last year. keeps coming back though, persistant bugger. Course, when they did it turned out i had hay fever aswell, which probably hadn't been helping :p. Also turned out I possible have a few food intolerances, i've ignored those and haven't suffered the consequences yet so hopefully they were wrong, was only 60% chance of accuracy anyway.

Yeah... I had major sinus issues for about 4-5 months. It took my allergist to use a CAT scan and see that I had severe inflamation. I also had several infections.

I am allergic to cats, and we have two, but my allergies got worse. (I'm allergic to everything but foods.) Since then, they have been in the basement and we spent $1K on anti-allergen crap. I started up my immunity shots, but had some internal bleeding problems which prevented me from going to get the shots twice a week. (It's an hour each way.) So I hear you there. My allergist, after the CAT says "Good news, no surgery!" I had no idea that was even on the table! AAACK!

Yeah, and I have such horrible migrains that I go to the best migraine center and Dr.s in the country in Chicago... I had to drop out of college because I had daily migraines and could barely move. So I never finished my last year of credits despite going to college 7 years.

Ah... shut up Hype... like anyone wants to hear your med history. And that isn't even the half of it!!! So you can see the meds I have to take daily, but the problem is some temporary meds... BLAH!!!!

Went to a spa a few times when i was in Italy visiting some relatives who live in a small village almost on the border of Italy and Austria. I have relatives everywhere lol. The spa was quite nice and relaxing. The whole holiday was relaxing actually, it rained everyday from 1 pm till 5 pm, everyone else took a siesta, i like the rain and used the time to either read something, play something or just go for a walk. I actually did walk with my head in the clouds a few times, they would drift across the town and in the surrounding valleys.

Well, completely relaxing except a local band which came to play in one of the local bars... a cross dressing band... very disturbing, never mention this again :p. Fortunately there was a fireworks display that started going off, giving us a good reason to leave.

You lucky SOB!!!:eek: My mother was born in Italy, and everyone in my entire family,including extended family has vacationed there and gone to see relatives... except me because I didn't have the money.:( My husband went to school in Europe for about 4 months and traveled all over Europe.

If and when I ever get to Italy, those relatives will be dead. They are elderly now... very. I am so pissed.

I have never been out of the US other than Canada, which doesn't count. (No offense Theao:p ). My state is on the border of Canada.

My fav vacation was Marco Island in Florida. It was paradise. We don't go anymore... Mr. H's rent's would go for 3 months and let us stay for 10 days or so...

Mr. H. died in a fire 2 yrs ago... he fell right in. My husbands mother found him burning in a fire pit...

My rents divorced when I was 30! There was an issue I diagnosed perfectly that caused it. Now they get along great, but live about 2 1/2 hrs. from each other.

Granparents on one side are italien, moved to Brazil before the war, Mother is Italien, Father is British, we try to visit our relatives in Brazil once a year, we don't see them much and they are getting quite elderly, i'm visiting for a few weeks alone in august, i was planning to go to the Isle of Wight with some friends but that didn't quite work out, turns out i'm not that well liked by some of them ¬.¬. Ah well, Brazil is better. :p.

Guess i shouldn't mention i've visited the amazon then? Or a few other places...

One of my missions in life, visit a place in Brazil called Uberville. in a lot of games i've played people use Uber to describe powerful things, it would just be something to put in a signiture for fun :p

Actually I have a parent that's a bit travel obsessed who takes me places(like most of Canada/US, a good portion of contiental Europe/Britian, South Africa and Aussie land(thought was young when went there).

My father goes on a huge amount of business trips to practically everywhere, mostly europe at the moment he works for an Australian company at the moment and gets to go over there every now and then, he's setting up the european division and flies everywhere here for it. In his old job he got to visit Japan and China quite often. It gives him a lot of air miles, hence why i got away with being sent to Brazil since they don't actually have to pay anything, or at least much, for the trip.

Let me think for a moment about where i've been, 8 countries i've visited i think.

I thought since it was an imaginary world he appeared as his "normal" self, armor and all. If not then he does still have his throwing swords which could count.

As far as storyline goes, not a lot with the good guys since i last updated you. There still hanging around the palace, a few side things being sorted out before everyone leaves. Lorathin, Karasu and Sarik to see aout helping Sarik with his 'Bersekerism' as Theao called it , Koryl (Dar-Kavryn char, one of them at least) and kalzog about the artifact. That about covers it. Oh Rimoru gave the good guys a boat that is fast and powerful. No move to leave has been made yet except a few people packing bags.

As for the evil characters, there on the boat on their way to Zlatlan, Cadey has met Valtrox, been given a task before Valtrox will accept him, go wipe out some people planning a revolt who are lead by a dragon. Inzikai is kind of interrogating Teralynn. The others are on the deck talking, no one has been considerate enough to give the vampire some blood to bring him back. :p

Mave and Rimoru are somewhere in the palace, she brought him back to life and had doctors tend to him, he's been bleeding green goo so something isn't right with him, again, gotta wait for the to develop.

Hebdebza, the other Demi-god we have heard bits about put in another appearence when Inzi and Cadey were visiting Valtrox, he made hints that he will soon find his way to the material plane.

LoL I let Cade have the cannon because you'll find that pressurized guns are nowhere near the largest weapon in her arsenal. On the good guys boat and especially the Final Battle you'll see the larger of her weapons.

Rimoru's nation is a cross between Steampunk and Magic, if ya'll haven't noticed. So keep it along those lines (I'm debating on whether zepplins will be used in this one lol) if you RP something with advanced technology. Also, if you are RPing advanced technology, it has to come from Iskan! They are the most technologically advanced in the RP!

I 'think' there is gnome attached to one of the back walls of the house, one that looks like he's climbing up. I think that came with the house and we never really bothered to take it down, tis only a small little guy.

Two years ago we had the waterproofing done, and we still have concrete dust settled on things that have been cleaned a ton of times.

They are pretty annoying, the ones here just shit on anything that moves, or at that, anything that doesn't move, lets just say everything, that wraps it up. We put up a new shed last week, we painted it the day after, within three hours of it having been painted they had already left their mark(s) on it. They also seemed to have a contest on Dad's car, hes up in cambridge at the moment, but as he drove off the driveway i noticed just above the handle to open the door there were about 7 seperate 'gifts'.

It's supposed to be good luck if you get shat on by birds. I can't really see what, i guess its probably that with all the stuff around you, the chances of them hitting you are slim... of course, that factors out the minor detail of them being malicious :p

They use a type of energy(crystal would work) which has nullified their magic (due to long exposure, so magic characters just passing through would still be able to magic). Has given them a unique type of energy, of course it would parralel some of what other people have done, if someone else has a good idea, your not exactly gonna ignore it. It would also allow for some unique things.

Unless your planning for people to need to find out the cause of their magic loss.

Yes I have used it. I don't believe in it, however, I did the ritual to get rid of my migraines. I was in the ER 5 times a week the were so bad. The day after the ritual, they stopped! My neurologist said, "Hey, whatever works!" and we cracked up. It's just for fun...
