Aye, i tend to switch to my laptop in storms, there not that common here but they do happen sometimes.

I hope someone is taking Cannon recoil into account, don't want Karasu being hit by it bouncing back, though i'm sure Blast has probably come up with a way for it not to move. Sorry, i've been taught about momentum and recoil over the last week and a half. :p

These cannons are stationed on rotating platforms. Also, the cannons are more like bombards, but can be used as a cannon as well ;)

Edit: I can't say i'm much of a fan of mcdonalds, i rarely get food from there, its on the other side of town to me, whereas KFC is at the end of my road, and countless other local snack shops and various not so local ones are inbetween.

Sorry for my absence, everyone. I'm living on the couch of a friend's house with no internet access, so I have to go to the library for it. A mighty big pain. Hopefully, I'd be moved into my own place with internet access by the end of the month, and I'll be back in the action.

Not much has happened that's really important to your chars... probably everything key has occured in the last 3-4 pages... (don't take my word for it though I kinda zone out for a lot of the bad guy posts).

Marlene is having visions of a figure on a boat hunting Cadeyrn, who says his father is coming to kill him. He is trusting Rothargot will take care of Marlene if he dies.

And the bad guys are getting shot at with the cannons aboard the good guy ship.

Rothargot raised 3 flying demons and four land demons. The bad guys are on a trader ship so the weapons are minimal...lol

You absolutely do Blastit... I can't have lightening powers because I have Jutsu powers... WHICH DO NOTHING!

I'm a dragon, so I can't have any more powers as a human, however all my dragon powers are thwarted one way or another.

I have not been allowed a usefull power yet, however, everyone else has all kinds.

My defense barrier depends on a pendant, and doesn't last long and wears me out.

I have yet to even HURT an opponant. The jutsus are always recognized because the enemy all of a sudden has "auras" so the jutsus are recognized.

No matter what I do, something comes up the stops any attack I have. I scraped Inzi ONE TIME. In this entire RP!

I do not HAVE anymore killing left! Nothing to create! Killed in one post? All dragon attacks, for example, in Lich, do nothing , as everyone has defensive shields and magic. I have NO MAGIC, and nothing but human weapons in human form... nothing enchanged, etc.

I can't dispatch anyone in ANY BLOW! The library fight which went on forever, I couldn't even get NEAR an even fight. Everyone I fought, even with swords, cut me to pieces, and I got ONE FUCKING CUT IN!

I CAN'T kill anyone in one blow! I can't even scratch anyone! Tell me as a human, how can I kill anyone when I am not allowed to even injure anyone.

I might be... I'm going through hard withdrawal right now... however, after my last few posts in Lich as the same char, and looking at what I have been able to do here in fights... NOTHING! I was told I was not allowed anything else. That is the truth. I am not allowed any magic items except the pendant the defends me, but creates great weakness in me and eventually the block drops, and I have no energy. I cannot have energy because I have Jutsu powers, which are ALWAYS blocked one way or another. My assassin skills and weapons do nothing... There is nothing left...

If she brought the amulet problem to Kalzog or Lorathin they might be able to figure out a way to keep it from draining while still providing a shield.

Also why not try some of the more offensive jutsu like the dragon thingy of Zabuza, they'd probably get through.

I get no artistic license... specifically told so, and my amulet has to be weak for some reason. It has to wear out my character and wane at the same time, so I can only use it, word for word "about 15 minutes at a time, but then you'll be exhuasted".

I cannot remember the Zabuza thing, and I am sure that it would be blocked, as everything else I do has been.

There just seems to be no reason to be here. My char can't do anything except get pregnant.

I will do my best to catch up on as many as I can, but I won't promise anything. I have to get up early the next day, so I will probably only be on for a couple hours on the 2nd. Furthermore, I will be very busy on the 3rd, so I will most likely only be on for a couple of hours. On the 4th I will be traveling almost all day again. I probably won't be on that night as it is the 4th of July, but hopefully I will be back on the 5th (though I will have unpacking to do for the summer). Hyper: Remember that you did fairly significant damage to Valerith in the library fight. T'zark doesn't have much in the way of powers, and Boliad has even less.

We just need more disposable minions, that's the problem. It's hard to do a decent battle scene when none of the people present can get killed.

Thanks. I just got back from New Orleans last Saturday, and there are tons of mosquitoes there. Because so much of it was wet and pools were filled with dirty water, the mosquitoes multiplied at a crazy rate (and some of them carried West Nile Virus).

(I am bringing Max DEET. Pure poison. Spray it on a bug and watch them wither away... like hitting them with an atom bomb)

Rothargot is not in the habit of leaving people alive it seems. And all it would take is less than a second to put the fire out, you ever put a match under a glass? Almost instantly goes out. Also, why not just suck it all into a ball and throw it in the sea?

I can imagine, hay fever is playing games with my head while i'm in school and it isn't easy to concentrate on some things, no headache's fortunately, just a bit zoned out.

I seem to be ok at home for the most part, that's not surprising though, i don't exactly keep my windows open :p

As for things that people will never let die. You should have seen what some of the things my friends say are. Mainly in relation to D&D. One friend was playing a kobold and another as a centaur, both male. The one playing as the centaur decided to walk up to me in the middle of the school library and almost shout (he was listening to music) "I've decided to let (other friend) ride me" Needless to say, much laughing ensued. Another was with just me, the friend playing a kobold and a differant friend, saying in referance to the friend playing the centaur, "Just give me 5 minutes alone with him and my greatsword", again, much laughing and i never let them forget it. :p

Edit: tis only the 4 of us that play D&D to my knowledge, other friends don't. Just these funny bits seem to be more memorable, in two ones, one, hearing them is uncommon and two, you know the person is saying what they mean, but it can mean something else too. :p

I've just had a relatively boring day at school, was doing research over a book for English, but i could find almost nothing, there was a critical study on 'Transtextuality' (i bet you read that wrong the first time :p) in relation to the story, which didn't work, and when i finally found a good website, school banned it -_-

The book is "Rites of Passage" by William Golding, he wrote "Lord Of The Flies" which I've borrowed out to read aswell, it's supposed to help in some way.

Edit: just a note Hyper, the deck is apparently being flooded with water to put out the imaginary fires, you might want to move Karasu and the K team somewhere where they wont be washed into the sea :p

Oh and if you think the forums are boring, try reading this book, or even worse, 'The Monk' by Martin Lewis (I think).

I just got up and am working on replying to all the stuff that happened while asleep.

These seem to use pressurized steam i think, rather than gunpowder. I'm not 100% on that, if they are steam i've gotta wonder where the steam goes after the shot.

But now I'm wondering what's creating the steam that pressurizes it ;) I mean, a cannon operated off of steam would need a chamber that contains the pressurized steam prior to firing, and some kind of conduit to channel the steam into that chamber, most likely a pipe of some sort. Then there's the water and heating system needed to create the steam in the first place (which may or may not be one and the same with the steamship's main furnace), and a pump that actually does the pressurizing. I assume these things are below the deck, with the pipe coming up through the deck to feed into the chamber. Otherwise, the cannon would be so big that they can't be easily swivelled and positioned to fire at the enemy. On the other hand, neither would the other option, as the pipe would force the cannon to be stationary and thus severely limit its firing arc as well.

Still, once this technology is mostly in prototype, but Rimoru is arming several battalions with the technology to test them out as a whole.

I can see that being a problem for me aswell, the whole 6 hour differance thing could be a problem. It will depend when it starts, for a good part of it i will be out of school with nothing to do during the day so i can be a creature of the night and stay up till the right times... probably. And when i go to Brazil in august i will be several hours closer. :p

It would just be after that when i'm back at school again which would cause a problem. That's too far ahead to worry about now though :p

We have a tendancy of formatting out computers due to breaking them... often.

I have a key laying around, but last time i used it they said it was a pirate one so it wouldn't get any windows updatetes and my PC buggered for an unrelated reason. I might dig it out and use it, but it would seem like a lot of hassle for just one game.
