Sorry bout the low posting lately, but I have AP exams this week, and the SAT this weekend, and I just got a job... so, look for more activity in the future.

If so, two slight flaws, one being the message can only be delivered while sleeping and it'd only be delivered to Relthor's mate. Also the message wasn't sent by a dragon.

OK, then let's say Karasu just saw them and she heard the rumors about the book and doesn't want it in evil hands and was going after it herself. She can feel the presence of a dragon in the group. Nothing about spells or whatever...

Since we've been talking about pictures lately, I've made one for Mave and Tera. For those with a slow connection, I made a smaller picture with a background and all that jazz. The bigger picture with the better details doesn't have a background to keep the size relatively small.

Oh, I had my World History AP Exam today. Woohoo, finally over. That test took 4 hours!

Hand drawing is cool; I used to do an online comic. But I certainly don't have the time for it anymore, last quarter of college and all.

Ah, the days of AP exams. The only one I regretted taking was Chem, as the teacher taught us almost nothing of what we needed to know. I got an A+ in the class but only a 2 on the exam. No one else in that class got above a two. Meh.

Sure, just realize he will have to serve under Inzikai, Rothargot, or Valtrox. They are the three most powerful evil dudes, and some of the most powerful in the RP (equally powerful guys will fight against them, so no worries ;))

Hyper, know that Relthor is called one of the Ageless dragons, because he has been around since the land was born. He was created by the gods themselves for a specific task. The ageless ones are not ruled by any one creature (except for the gods), and do whatever they please (as long as their respective god lets them).

Also, Valtrox respects the dragons and their power, but he probably could not be killed by them. I know you just wrote that Valtrox would find the dragons formidable, but I just want to point these out :p

Also, Graizen, hmmm...your character is wierd LoL. Mind if you make a more normal character? Like the one's we started with. No more dragons/demi-gods/strange powerful beasty. It's starting to get slightly complicated on what they can do and what they can't do. :headbang:

Ok, Graizen, keep your character. I have found a good use for him. Although he must listen to Rothargot at all times, due to the status of Rothy. Inzikai must be treated with respect as well. :p

Your char is good. She won't be bothered from Inzikai nor Kalzog (fighting wise). Even if they fight, they won't fight much. Inzikai will be battling another target who is yet to be revealed.

Keep your char as she is now, but not quite the queen of the dragons. Maybe leader of a dragon clan.

Plus, Inzikai is supposed to be one of the archenemies, which means he's supposed to be super powerful. When you read a book or watch a movie or something, you almost never have a hero so crazy strong that the archenemy isn't even a threat. That makes for a boring story.

Inzikai's counterpart is the Patriarch, I believe. So he already has an equal.

Everyone else has characters that aren't on equal footing with Inzikai. I don't see why you insist that your character be equal to one of the archenemies.

Inzikai is transforming into Valtrox's "gift", which will make him very powerful. The two of you can be matched well, but after a good fight, Inzikai will win. Plus, something theres something secret about him (subtly) from his bio, that will be revealed later. Maybe once they get to Rimoru's Library.

So your char doesn't need additional powers. Heck you'll probably enjoy RPing more if you tone down what powers you already have, due to that "story" thing I was talking about. You're doing good. I don't want you out. Like I said earlier, this thread is made to answer questions or clarify situations such as these.

Valtrox is the most powerful god known to Lustria (and the world as far as this story goes..hence why he is imprisoned in the underworld). Valtrox is the god of Fire, fury, brutal war, and some more minor things.

Inzikai is his loyal servant since a child, and has lived longer than most Skizzarish. He is an expert with the sword, and devastating with necromatic magics. An example of his power would be the ability to dissolve many figures into bloody puddles. He would never do this to anyone of the group. The only time you'll see it used against an RPer, is when he battles the Patriarch (surprise! lol).

Inzikai's archnemesis is The Patriarch, the leader of the Order of the White Serpent, a religious order that seeks to do good (no matter if it is justice or injustice). The Patriarch is a powerful figure, and yes, he will battle Inzikai at the end.

Empress Rimoru is a near god-like figure that is the leader of Iskan, the desert area everyone is currently in. She holds a library that is known to hold all books in Skizzarish history, and beyond.

Valtrox wants Inzikai to obtain a certain book of spells to use in coordination with some massive stone structures found near the mountains. Think of a giant stone henge-like structure. The spells within the book, the structures, and Valtrox all connect to each other, in a way that's believed to release the terrible god upon the world.

You want him to join Rothargot, I'm guessing? If so, have him tell Rothargot of this (kind of like he's thinking this to Rothy telepathiccy-> realize that it won't be telepathy, but a communication between the demons )and some kind of ritual will be performed to bring him into the mortal plane, for atleast a while.

Ok, Sarik is biased and believes Inzikai to be evil, as I think most of the good guys believe. On this bias, they frame him and watch him closely.

But, they cannot kill him because he is leader of a giant nation, and killing him will start a massive war that would doom Lustria and maybe the world. At the moment, war is not a situation the Patriarch wants.

More questions have come to my mind!

1. Are the good guys actively traveling, or do the have nightly camps?
2. Is it a caravan of horses (or camels), carts and wagons, or is it simply PCs walking through the desert?

They camp once in a while, but they are currently on the move

They ride sand-horses. These strange things are magically summoned for a short amount of time, but they are going at a slightly slower pace. Also, they will stop if they see your guys close enough to them!

My question is how can the good party not know Inzi is w/the V-man when he has 3 horns growing out of his head, which you said was suppossed to be some type of indicator. Plus... he just ACTS eeee-vill! :p And still why is he with them anyway... in case the good party gets to the library first?

Also, I initially thought there were only 9 good guys traveling... that was what I copied off pg 9. And I had no clue about the evils. I have a feeling I am going to mix up who is who, since the good-guy party is so massive.

Correct me if I mess up that way.

@Rhinara... I don't think you understand that I went into this blind blind blind, with a short list of the good guys, and no info on Inzi, or any of the other bad guys. Apparently the no dragon thang was on a prior page, but Blastit said it was OK. As far as powers go, I didn't know Inzi was an 'arch enemy' and supposed to be uber-powerful and I thought Inzi was a tad too powerful compared to the rest as he could just get rid of everyone in a snap.

I'm getting the gist of it now. However, that first night I was on, I had not slept for several days, which doesn't help with memory or patience. I have chronic insomnia, and the stupid useless drugs they give me also cause a memory issue, so if I fuck up, someone tell me, but don't get all bent out of shape. (At least with these sleeping pills, I didn't go out and buy a Honda, find it in the garage the next morning, and remember none of it!)

Please be a bit patient with me. It is hard enough jumping in the middle, but especially w/out a lot of background and exhaustion and memory crap... so, again, if I eff up, someone tell me! (Nicely please... I am NOT trying to Godmod!):D

As for the insomnia thing, I've that problem too, but only mildly compared to some other people, as it usually doesn't last past 5 or 6am when they're at the worst. Though, I guess having a roommate who stays up all night on his computer (desk lamp on + constant typing/clicking = ick) and an alarm clock that goes off early in the morning (which he repeatedly hits the snooze for over the next two hours or so) doesn't help.

No, I wasn't trying to Godmod. I did not know what was going on and went in quite blindly as Blastit asked me a couple months ago and said "just jump in". When he said all the info was on page nine, I saw one post, and it was not very complete. I thought that was all of it. (No villains, which I thought was weird), but nah, I had no clue as to the strength of the others' powers, that Inzi was an arch-enemy and that he was supposed to have stronger powers, etc. I wanted to be on equal footing with him so I could be as sarcastic as possible w/out being melted.:p Now I know I can anyway! :D

My insomnia has been going on for weeks. An hour here and there of sleep. I once went 16 days with NO sleep at all... I mean not even an hour, but this was an unusual situation. You don't die from lack of sleep... falacy. I did not even hallucinate... but I did see these pink elephants that were cool! :D j/k After going long enough w/out sleep, your body forces you to sleep, however, going 16 days is pure HELL!

I finally got some decent sleeping pills so I shouldn't be zonked during the day, having taken cruddy sleeping pills the night before, that didn't work, and then feeling the memory loss, etc., the next day. (But I didn't buy a Honda, thank God! If I was going to buy a car and have no memory of it, I better find a Lambo in my garage!) :p

Umm... where to begin. First, I would like to say that you are taking an IC issue and making it an OOC issue, which is a big no-no.

Okay... first of all. It was a simple lock. Nothing magical or hard about it. You could have simply smashed it with a sword and it would have opened, so having Ar'mai use a very basic and simple spell on it isn't a big deal.

Furthermore, Ar'mai is probably the least 'powerful' out of everyone in the RP (perhaps not the golem maker). She has almost no offensive magic unless the target is undead or weak against holy spells (her only 'offensive spells' are ones that change her arrows in certain ways - most of which I haven't used yet). Now you proclaiming Harlin, and I quote, "My skills at evasion and deception exceeds your wildest dreams, they have been passed down from our God, Arcturus, and are the most powerful on this earth. Do not call my skill into question, for it surpasses that of anyone else alive today"... well that is a little like the pot calling the [blue] kettle black.

They're not sure whether the growth is Calcium Deposits or a tumor because there's a hunk of growing bone in the way as well as multiple fractions just getting in the way. I'm going up to a specialist at UPenn next week.
