I have a rapier, a Chinese short sword, one of them showey random swords...like Dragon's tooth sword or whatever lol...It has daggers on the hilts that pop off...

I really want to get a sword of some type, a rapier would be nice, they don't exactly sell in the shops around here. I think my family would be somewhat surprised if a sword arrived delivered at the door though :p

My little arsenal consists of a little single edged sword that I purchased for its price, but have come to like enough that I designed Koryl's sword based partly on it, something in between a short sword and a long dagger, a decorative dragon-hilted sabre that I used as the basis for the Royal Sword of Dar-Kavryn, 'cause it'd actually be pretty good if it were made out of Shimmersteel, and a curved dagger. I'd love to get a good swept-hilt rapier, or just clean out a few ancient weapon catalogues, for that matter.

Dar... do you take lessons and know the correct footwork for each sword, etc.? I have a fiend in England who, thru college learned broadswoard, some katana, rapier, etc. I want to learn to do it correctly. It is not as easy as it looks. You have to have practice tables, and such and the footwork is crazy! All I did w/mine was trim the top of the bushes, explaining to my new neighbor I don't usually landscape with a katana... rotf! That thing is sharp as a razor. It cuts through bone..

At a rennaissance faire I saw an Italian rapier with the most amazing hilt! (The funkier the hilt, the better!) I didn't have $450 on me that day... I was drunk on mead and wanted to charge it, but Mr. Practical (Mr. H.) stopped me! I really want to learn fencing too.

I'd like to collect swords of all types to display, but I want to learn to use a katana well. Where I live there is no place that teaches... I have to get a dvd, and learn from that, plus from what my brit friend sends me on instructions. Perhaps they have something in Milwaukee, but not until I feel better.

The best one I saw online was from the Tokogawa or Edo era... (that is what I want.), famous swordmaker, pristine condition... $200,000!!! I dun think so!

-The Shadowfold is an alternate dimension that is a lot like reality in form, but lacks the people and most obstacles. It appears as a dark shadowy version of reality to those inside it.

-Harlin took Marlene into it, he was able to do so because of his amulet/relic 'The Jiltak Hand'. Then, he was also able to teleport inside the Shadowfold because of the same relic. That is how he and Marlene got to Karahd, and then how Harlin got back.

That did actually pop up for me, how you are meant to press F1 without a keyboard is beyond me, apparently they know a way.

It's not just to play games, a lot of computers can play games...

Its to play games set at the highest graphics and looking awesome, just to see what it looks like. Then most people turn them to the crapest settings and get a speed advantage over other people when playing online since the masses of power your computer has arn't doing much graphically, meaning there's less lag.

I would like a more powerful computer, but mine does need to be upgraded anyway, it keeps buggering up ¬.¬.

I used to use XP Pro, till i buggered my computer, then had it again, then buggered again, you get the gist. It happens every few months. So microsoft complains at how often we reuse the codes ¬.¬ bloody microsoft. There doesn't seem to be much differance, i always thought Home didn't have the compatability option to play things in older versions of windows, but apparently it does, so no idea.

$5k o_O, well i can believe that actually, i'm personally going to get a good one for maybe £400-600 when i get a job, well i could get one without a job but that would be annoying, though actually dad broke my old processer so said he would buy me one when i made my mind up, so £300-500 of my money. That's just knowing what works well and what to get, not going for all the best stuff, seriously, you wouldn't use it.

He ordered a good card that was on a special offer £80-100 cheaper than it should be, but, they have none in stock, so instead sent him the better, more expensive version of the card, so he got it for £200 cheaper, then had the gall to say it wasn't the one he wanted -_-, no pleasing some people

I've never used a Dell, i've heard mixed reports, some people say their great, others say they wouldn't touch them with a barge pole. I've heard they are good for games, i've heard they are crap for games. But i've never had one personally. I don't see what differance the name would make, just that's what i've been told, if it's made of good parts it should work well.

My laptop is one dad 'borrowed' from his work when he left, so it's crap, couldn't play any games. It works fine on the internet, listening to music, working, etc. And it would function quite well if you needed to bludgeon someone, but after that, it's uses are limited.

I have a dell, and it works great... there was a CDR issue at the beginning, but since, it has been fine.

My last puter was such a mess, I would have "Office Spaced" it w/a baseball bat, except I think my hubby got it running and it might be somewhere around the house. We have 4 or 5 puters... I won't use a laptop. For one, I need an ergo board. Can't type w/out one. Put me on a normal keyboard, and I can't type for shit!

Sometimes my all nighters started at 4 in the afternoon and went until 10am the next day... then I'd sleep till night, and in some bad cases, I had two day hangovers where I couldn't get out of bed at all.

I don't have a gag reflex, so I could never throw up when I drank a lot, it would all go through me and be processed, so I had to live w/the effects of all that excess, as opposed to most people who throw up at a certain point...

I gotta mow the lawn and I'll probably crash after that. Be back soon.

Heh, I wish! No time during school and no teacher during vacation. I practice with a friend sometimes and chop stuff with the cheap one, but that's about it. The only chance I'd have of getting in a blow against someone with actual training would be by using two blades against one.

I'm 1/2 Italian also! My mom was born there! They're all northern Italian, so no mob connections.... My mom is from near Lucca.

The original set of musics i think, kind of tell the story as it goes along. Strange music, it sounds somewhat upbeat but disconcerting aswell. I had the game and played it a few times, i couldn't get the hang of it, this was years ago, and now i can't play it anymore because i don't have direct X 5 or whatever. They need to make a backwards compatible Direct X tbh.

I've heard one or two before, but i haven't heard any of the newer versions or american versions.

Showers are a means to an end(namely getting clean). Now baths are for relaxing.

I hate showering because then there is the extra 1/2 hour or more of creams and such, and hair and makeup blah.... :p

Sorry for not appearing for the past day and a half...

After I left on Friday (My Birthday) I was engrossed in the game that stole Kitab's heart, Rise of Legends (tough game...)

But, that's not all, I was mowing the lawn, calling people who I missed calls from, and then I went to me friends house...I think? LoL

Anywho, I went out to dinner, came home, opened my other presents, then spent the rest of the afternoon watching movies/playing with me games...


Today, however, is completely different! I woke up, took care of my friends garden, came back, played Rise of Legends (I never had my butt kicked so many times!), then I got a call from me friend.

I went over to his house and BAM! Surprise Party! So, I got a coconut, a delicious cake, a best Buy gift card (with a clever B-day card), and the Muppet Show season 1 lol.

Was great fun...not it's all over :(

Ah well, today (Sunday) I will not be on much either, I have a parade to be at, then a concert, along with fireworks, and a gala.

Tuesday=California here I come, right back where I started from...
