Hmmm...

Inzikai raised Valerith, Sarik and Karasu have gotten secretly intimate and Kalzog seems to know more than he lets other's know.

Ixair has remained by Ar'mai's side, who was healed by Shara.

Minos and Lorathin are pushing the boat along like a surfboard to catch up with Inzikai.

That pretty much covers it,

Though he didn't mention that the bad guys stopped attacking the good guys ship because Karasu made herself appear like Rimoru and convinced Rothargot to leave.

Bad guys got away then were attacked by some elves flying Drakes, 3 died 2 were captured. Rothy saved one from being tortured by Inzikai and Caderyn is looking after one.

Not much has happened on the good guys ship except what Blast said.

Couple of questions before I post:

Where are they (spefically Ar'mai) now?
How much time has passed?
Has anyone attempted to heal/help Ar'mai since Shara?
The Blastit Empire
03-07-2006, 19:48
They are in the middle of the Lustrian Sea and Ar'mai is in the Captain's quarters, Ixair is by her side.

Not much time has passed...I'd say maybe a day or two.

Shara has healed all the wounds except for one, which is a now a small cut (I think the one on her back). Ixair wrapped a piece of one of his shirts around it to stop any bleeding.

oOh, and this may be sudden...

But Kitab, you may play any of the chars of mine (including NPCs, even Mebbiwik if you feel up to it) if you wish. More of a conversation kinda thing so people don't grow bored or forget about the RP.

If not, it's alright, if someone wants to RP any of the chars, go ahead, as long as it isn't too drastic/ goes out of how the char acts.

About the whole water in lung thing...

Before you go unconcious from lack of oxygen you have a breath reflex where you will try to breath in taking whatever is around you. In the case of drowning you will breath in water and then black out where the person has a few minutes to get oxygen before they go brain dead/suffer permanent brain damage.

I think people just misunderstood. They thought you were talking about all dragons, not just the ones of your order. (Also, people of different cultures tend to see differences as bad things.)

It's funny you should bring this character into play now as I have a similar character who serves the Order of Guardians that I was thinking about entering.

I might. However, if I do, I might now have him fight or get involved in the battles because he is super powerful. Though I could make an easy IC reason for him not participating.

Note to anyone who looked at my character: A) When you read that, take it with a grain of salt. It is a little propaganda kind of thing - boasting about how powerful he is. B) As I said, I don't use him for combat of any kind... he is a character that can be interesting in the plot.

Don't worry, mine is pretty powerful too.

Name: Xenocrates Cadeyrn "The Battle Lord"
Profession: Dragoon
Height: 8,1'
Weight 670lbs
Weapon:
-The Scarlet Titan (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v723/Luporum/Blade.jpg)
Race: Dragon/Human
Abilities: Incredible Strength and Agility, Legendary Swordsmanship, Dragon Chambers
Home: Unknown

Most elite of the dragoons, considered young by dragon standards, he commands the legions of the Dragoons under direct orders of the council. Many of the stronger Dragoons fell during the war against Valtrox leaving him as the entitled general of the dragon servants.

Having been closed within the order for many years his skill with a sword has only increased. The amiable giant is unknown for his prowress in combat and for his kind heart. However, his son, Cadeyrn Brahn has arrisen as a sinful half breed. No dragoon is permitted to bed with mortals and the berzerker's mysterious birth only forces the Battle Lord to seek out and capture his only child. No one is aware of his connection to the human warrior.

Chambers of the Dragon is X's ultimate power and few connections to magical power. Seven orbs of magical power, or chambers, hover behind the warrior in combat and each provide a spell to assist the Battle Lord. These spells range from awesome offensive attacks to formidable defensive barriers. Once the chambers are used they cannot return for another three days.

If he is Cadey's father, and Cadey is half dragoon, would that not make X's wife human.... And I thought the father was killed?

I'll sort it out real quick as I never just give a summary when I post, it's always tid bit by subtle tid bit.

X left his human wife and unborn cadey when he feared people might find out about their 'sinful' relationship. Later his wife was murdered and his son, Cadey, was literally yanked from the womb. The people who did this were also underlings of X which won't make the berzerker any more pleasant when he finds out later.

After furnishing Karasu with her phantom steed, Lorathin had taken a nap in the crows nest. He'd been lightly dozing until he felt the riggings sway and Ar'mai had hoisted herself up and over.

She had appearently not noticed him as she looked over the sea and began to sing. When her song had finished, he spoke softly, "That was beautiful and it's nice to see you up and about."

Sorry if I seem like I am being picky, but I would rather not have your appearance be that... easy. I spent a good amount of time on my post and my intent was for her to be alone through her entire journey from her cabin to the crow's nest (and while on the crow's nest at the beginning) and I would rather not have someone's appearance be explained by something as convenient as 'He was there the whole time, she just missed him.' I know it is reasonable considering her condition and how I described her state of mind, body, and perception, but I would still rather not have you be there at the present moment.

Hype won't watch tennis... borrrrring and can hurt your neck. Except in high school when our friends (the hot guys from another school) played. Heheheh, we'd be cheering against our own school! :D

Hype playing badminton... perfect... when you hit the birdie hard, it doesn't end up 20 miles away.

Hype watching badminton... never have, never will :p

Hype watching Lacrosse... laughing so hard she's on the floor in tears! Looks like granny going after Sylvester with a broom. They actually run after each other and hit each other with those stick things they use <--(technical terminology)!:D

Hype watching soccer in college... went to every game as we had a major amazing soccer team... no American football. We had a guy who tried out for the olympics and the team consisted of students from all over the world. We hung out w/them at times.

Hype watching soccer now... "Awwww turn the World Cup off... wait! I wanna see the French guy headbutt the Italian guy! (I am Italian, and I call for mortal revenge!) The French just can't take a little trash talking in a language they don't understand? :p

I never got to see the clip. I'm supporting my ethnic background and I have always HATED the French! Mr. H. went to France a couple times and said everyone is rude, plus they are a bunch of wusses and freaks politically.

So what if he cried... he probably got hit in a really bad spot, or an injured spot. Italians are not afraid to show their emotions, whatever they may be.

They don't have to hold back to prove their masculinity, as they are secure in their masculinity!!! Now THAT is a man. Dirty playing... that is another story.

I played soccer for a while in high school... it was an out of school team. I was considered a 'hack' by all my guy friends who played soccer at different schools (and were good), but I was not nearly as nasty as some girl who used me as a backstop. We played outside and she had metal cleats on and ran up my legs... ALL the way up and skidded. Any higher and I wouldn't have been able to have children! (Don't want any anyhoo:p ) I had a lot of fun. The guys liked watching my fancy (and cardable) footwork!

I was way into basketball when the Bucks were in the playoffs with Atlanta. We went to a lot of games and playoff games. Then they started to suck, and I haven't watched a game in eons. I used to know the names of all the players in the league, and now I don't think I know more than one or two!

I talked to a soccer player I know who has the whole scoop on this deal.

Also, he said anyone would shed a couple tears if they were headbutted hard in the sternum. (They don't wear padding you know!)

The French dude's mother was recently admitted to the hospital and is seriously ill, likely dying. The Italian dude told the French dude he hoped his whole family would die. (The mother had just been admitted, like the night before.) So the French guy lost it and headbutted the Italian who is, apparently a hella dirty player.

And that is that.

There is no padding covering your sternum in football, shoulderpads do only as the name implies. That's how I broke three ribs when a division I ,reciever/safety, prospect (215lbs, runs a 4.2-40) speared me in the chest at full sprint. Not headbutted, speared.

I have that hit on my highlight tape, son of a bitch blindsided me while I was shuffling laterally to get to the halfback on toss. It's called a crack block in football: The wide reciever basically sprints 10 yards and dives into the linebacker. On tape all you see is the hit and my feet 2 yards in the air :D

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure that headbutt hurt like hell, but it's not as big of deal as he made it out to be.

Now, Rugby... YIKES! One of my sister's friends... a girl... is on a rugby team and has been for years. I think she is the only straight one on the team.. :D

Anyway, to wish the death of your whole fam when your mother is in the hospital dying... he deserved the headbutt, however, I was told that the French guy is now disgraced for what he did, although it is understandable. Had France won, he would have not been a part of it, so he was willing to give up a possible world cup to headbutt this guy.

BTW, people should not play injured... My father in law... It is quite possible that part of the cause of his death was likely too many concussions... (biker, triathalete, etc.) He fell and burned to death in a fire. To see what happened to him over a 3 year period would make anyone cry.

It is believed that his brain problems were caused by too many concussions... part of it anyway...

Of course they run after each other and try to hit them with their crosses... it is called defense.

If there was extremely little to no passing, then yes it was an odd game... however, that doesn't give you the right to lampoon the entire sport because of a bad experience. That is called making unfair generalizations based on one bad experience.

Vodka is my drink dammit!

Technically my drink, named after me, is 70% vodka, 15% sugar, and 15% Soda. That'll put some hair on your chest. All hail the Coltsitonic. :D

Me would think that 100% Voda would do better to put hair on your chest.

The sugar + soda add a nasty kick to it. Vodka alone gets boring after a while.

As DMG said, Blast's away for a few days.

Let's see, cutting a (very) long story short and focusing only on the action.

You were in Rimoru's palace the last time you posted if my memory serves. Since then, there was a whole 'side quest', involving an army of werewolves, the bad guys got the book after a fight in the library. They fled to the dock and grabbed a ship, Caderyn switched sides to join the bad guys in the library fight.

Rimoru gave the good guys a steam ship, which the rebellion against Rimoru is semi hijacking, but helping the good guys anyway. Good guys caught up to the bad guys, got beat up by Rothargot and a bunch of demons, caught up again, then Blastit went away for a few days.

Rimoru is alive and pregnant with Rothargot's baby, she is apparently going to change her ways and be a good ruler. She isn't on the ship, she is still in her palace. (figured i would mention her since your character wanted to kill her)

As for the present and now, the good guys are on the steam ship following the bad guys, who arn't far ahead, not much can happen till Blast gets back except people talking and maybe a little character development etc.

If you need a reminder of who most of the characters are, check page 9 of this thread, some can be ignored since the rper's playing them made a couple of posts then vanished.

You won't find X there, Lup can fill you in on him if he doesn't mind. I can't think of anyone else off the top of my head who isn't there, i could be wrong though.

ADDENDUM:

During the Library fight, Cadey, when he switched sides killed Karasu, and someone who is a healer brought her back. She is alive and still pregnant. She is now involved with Sarik.

X or, Xenocrates, is the Dragoon Lord working for a high order of dragon elites. He has been following the group, both good guys and bad, for the entire boat trip and only revealed himself to save Karasu from drowning. Now he takes residence on the good guy's ship waiting to get another shot at his target, Cadeyrn.

I didn't mention any of the specifics from other character's either, and give me some credit, i was typing it at about 1:30 am my time.

I only mentioned Rimoru, because his character wanted to kill her, so in that context it was important.

As i said at the start, i was focusing on all the action that had happened rather than the character details. If i had been writing up all the character things it would have taken a fair bit longer and i was quite tired.

On a totally unrelated subject, Pirates of the Carribean 2 is a great film :p

Well I think it is worth mentioning that Ar'mai was knocked unconscious by a flying demon and fell into a coma.

Right now in the RP, it is probably mid or early afternoon. Ar'mai wakes up this evening (already posted by me with Fluid time), and struggles to make it to the crow's nest (without encountering anyone), where she plops down and sings a few elven songs. Oh yeah... and she has suffered almost complete memory loss.

I was unaware of that DMG. I'm kinda falling out of this RP though, it's really really slow, and I'm going to be going on vacation for two weeks on Wednesday. I'm wondering if it's worth letting somebody take control of my chars, or if they should just be in story stasis like they are now.

I was told it was crap as it didn't have a proper ending.

Aye, they went for the 'cliffhanger' type ending which annoyed some people, the ending surprised a few of my friends (someone makes a reappearence), i had guessed it would happen about 30 minutes into the film, it wasn't a bad ending though.

I would recommend it.

Your all right, i probably should have mentioned those details and maybe a few others. I was knackered at the time and just went for a short and sweet summary of the action parts.

You could write up a bunch of long posts having them do stuff(like Harlin going to his 'temple' thingy and such not) and have someone post them every so often for you.

Very interesting idea, though that wouldn't really keep them in the story... just make side stories for them alone.

One or two of them did, but she doesn't really know why. They are just odd things she remembers but with no context around them.
