Brazil is incredibly warm, considering it is winter. Its going ok, friday i'm going to visit a cousin of mine and at the weekend i am going to kind of resort thing, it's called a 'farm' but you stay in chalets, horse riding, they do all the food, tis quite good. Wish i had a 'farm' like that.

I went to the amazon a few years ago, that was great, there was a bird that walked up my arm, perched on my shoulder nibbling on my ear, then moved to that part of your back which you can't reach and then attacked me, i couldn't reach the bugger. The spider monkeys were cool too. :p

Oh, toucans look so fake in real life and they are nasty buggers.

Haven't found any gold, sorry, i'll keep my eyes open. can't make any guarantee's.

Edit: There was also the baby croc we held, one of the guides jumped in to catch him, got his ear bitten, funny stuff. There was also the piranha fishing, my brother cought one.

I think that about covers it. As i said, seeing mister captain person could have jogged Armai's memory a bit, she could also claim a new bow from one of the archers that were killed.

That actually sounds like a good idea. I think she is going to wake up after the battle walk around looking at bows and start scrutinizing their poor quality.

How arcane are the symbols on the pillars(how likely are they to be recognisable/translateable)?
Are there any anti-tamper spells on them?
Does Inzikai need the book to complete the spell or does he just need the words?

He really only needs the words, but he reads the book for guidance.

It would, however, be very hard to get the book (think impossible lol)

The symbols are beyond ancient. Unregonisable to those not part of a certain order AKA the demons and possibly Teralynn with her ring (debating on that).

One cannot tamper with the spells. These "Gates" were made by the gods and very few, if any can tamper with them.

The end... is coming.

Ixair could do it (his attacks are swift and fluid and move with the attacker, not against--blocks occasionally, but tends to dodge and strike when enemy is vulnerable).

Sarik could, but he disappears after the end of this one.

Kalzog could teach Ar'mai how to smash things (rofl would be funny).

Bjorn and John would no doubt deny teaching Ar'mai how to fight. There will also be some sword fighting guys in the next RP, however I am still debating on whether to bring them in/ kind of character they are/ names/appearance.

As of now (not knowing the other characters), Ixair would probably be the best. However, Ar'mai will be returning to her homeland for the next fifteen years and thus he would not begin teaching until the next RP (should they meet up again).

I guess I will take the last part as hurt pride rather than stating something.

I didn't think of them... people gave me different characters that could train her and I said who would be best (not, note you, who would be doing it). Also, as I said previously, she will be returning home in the years in between and thus begin her training there.

All told, what he's doing is going to take about 40-60 minutes, sufficiant time for Harlin to do whatever he feels like(including running like hell for shelter).

I was just kidding and making an idle observation, but thank you for the info.

On a more serious note: While in the Shadowfold, a Jiltakin can only be hurt by others in the Shadowfold. As such, Azrael's storm occuring in the real world will not affect Harlin in the Shadowfold.

Good Question, from the way I've been writing thus far, he seems to be able stay in it indefinitely, and also able to enter it at will. Seems a litle god-moddy to me now that I think about it, but eh... It's too late in the game to change things.

True, but you have to remember, the casulties for demons/soldiers will be greater than a 1:1 ratio as a number of the traps are area-effectors.

yeah, and theres plenty more than 1 demon for each Lorathin. 3 gates are churning out demons each second, which will take them a few minutes to reach Lorathin, Teralynn, Inzikai, and each of those minutes, 180 demons pop out and notice Lorathin still alive and fighting the ones who are to raise their master lol.

How strong(in terms of physical strength) are the demons?

I think I've just thought of a way to stem the tide(at least for a while).

Well, how I see the gateway, is that there are three massive stone towers

on the floor, there are the three little demon gateways. But these open up by sliding to the side, to let Valtrox through. Now all of this is mounted ontop of an enormous slab of rock that's been imbued with all sorts of junk.

One can't create something from the stone it's made of, but the ground around the massive mile (in diameter)-long gateway

Wow...really busy day today...

I don't know about everyone else, but I'm not really sure what I should be doing right now... My Jiltakin are all incapacitated from doing their Shadowfold jump thing. My healers are healing. And... we're losing the battle. I have no real plot to advance here. It up to you guys who intend last minute character development. At this point, I'm really just along for the ride.

Aye... I brought the elven army in... they are fighting.... not much else to do.

I was waiting for something from Luporum and Rhinara, so I'm trying to figure a way around all of that lol.

I'm semi-stuck waiting for Rhineria(sp) so Lorathin and Teralynn can clash(and since both are contracted for the next episode) for something to split them apart.

LoL Yeah, thats another thing. I don't want to cut people's fun too short. However, during the clash I have a few events would could disrupt their duel, should you both want it to lol.

The thing is, as Kitab told me long ago, is that I don't have enough villains for all the heros.

Thats why in the next installment, theres a lot of villains, some of which you can kill, some of which you cant. On page 9 (when we get to it...lol) of the RotS OOC thread, I'll try to make up a list of killables and unkillables (those that will be there in the 3rd/final installment)

Speaking of coffee, i've just been at a friends party in an italian resturant which was having a 'Roman Night' which we turned into a dancing thing as well for the last two hours give or take until they finally closed. We started a conga line and everything :p

anyway, coffee was included in the price so everyone ordered coffee then 3 people didnt want theres and i ended up drinking them, so i've had two double espressos and 2 cappucinos so i doubt i'll be getting much sleep tonight, give me something to read :p

And a storm started just after we left, lots of lightning, and thunder that seems to be physically shaking the house, somewhat weird...

the manager of the italien restuarant kept asking me if i liked the restuarant and the food, which was kind of weird since i was the only person he was asking.

Also I've never understood how people can be woken up/stimulated by caffine/coffee. It doesn't seem to do anything for me. Just recently I ate a handful of coffee beans, washed down with tea and cola and I'm feeling sleepy rather than awake.

well, one coffee not so much, apples are supposed to be more effective, but 4 coffees is another matter, two of which were the strongest they had, though tasted exactly like a normal coffee i have in brazil oddly enough. though admittedly brazilian coffee tastes a lot stronger than the normal coffee i have here.

All of the above and a few more for me. Coffee, apple juice, depends what happens to be around, i'm not too fussed as far as drinks go.

I must have picked the worst night to be completely awake, theres doesn't seem to be many people online.

I'm likewise pretty non-particular on what I drink, it's just that those three are the only things that are around for me most of the time.

Only thing I don't drink is beer(and haven't had a chance to try any other alcohol) as it causes me to puke before I can drink one can.

normal beer doesnt really taste all that nice anyhow, some can be ok, but not really special. Other forms of alcohol... some can be quite nice, though i havent tasted too many.

getting a headache, had one on and off all week >.< may go and try to sleep, got a long day tommorow and theres not much eventful going on at the moment.
