I hate bugs. I had three flies flying through my house for days - they were impossible to kill and always followed me into the same room at night (because it was the one with lights on).

i don't 'hate' bugs, I don't paricularly like them either, as long as they stay away they don't get splatted.

I would love a big boa, but the house would smell... you know... the live food thing...

I like bats a lot too... even if they are rabid. I have a bat house, but have not gotten it up yet.

There are all sorts of little things i 'could' be doing, but there not going to get done any time soon. About the only thing that will get done is my cat will be fed if he comes over and starts meowing at/headbutting/scratching me.

Oh no, Mave's dead. Crushed by Lorathin's spell, riddled with holes from Ar'mai's arrows, and dropping many many stories from near the top of the library's dome to the sharp, pointy, broken shelves below. That last bit of glowy eye thing will be explained later, but yes, Mave is as dead as they come.

She hit Inzi a few times, but he just shrugged it off. In your human form, admttedly you arn't particularly good vs armored targets, against 'soft' targets you could be quite good, and your dragon form has very limited use, it would be powerful in open air/air to air combat.
Remember, the next major fight is on the water apparently, so the dragon form may get some use... Rothargot vs Karasu Dragon in the air :p

Depending on the time that has elapsed between now and the next installment, Karasu would have had time to learn new skills, e.g. magic, if you were still going to use her.

Oh and i sent you another TG Hyper.

Another thing, you charcter has ninja like abilities, i 'think', don't hold me to this, that ninja had some type of explosive they used, if Blastit allowed that that might give you some form of ranged attack, other than your little knife things... and who needs accuracy when things go BOOM! :p

I edited my other post while you were posting i think, you might have missed it, basically saying 2 things

Your human form would be good against lots of 'soft' target, unarmored or with little armor, but vs the heavily armored Rotheragot or Inzi and i guess Teralynn since she will likely be as tough as Inzi soon. Caderyn seems to break his armor quite often so if hes wearing it you probably wouldn't hit him much either.

There was also a bit about the ninja type training of your character and i 'think', as i said in the previous post, that ninja had some form of explosive thing they could throw, which may give you something against them, then again, Caderyn is immune to fire, Rothargot probably is aswell, which means Inzi and Teralynn are likely to be too, ah well, bad idea.

Guess that also render's your dragon's fire breath relatively useless aswell... Blastit must have something against you :p

Of course, if you used your dragon in the sea fight everyone would likely know you were a dragon

I understand your frustration, but you did do some fairly substantial damage to Valerith. If he hadn't been weakened by the Holy Water Karasu spat on him, he might have defeated Harlin, and certainly would have lasted longer against him.

True, i had forgotten that bit, the vampire could have been an interesting fight if it hadn't been over so quickly, got to hate that holy water.

Still, it wasn't any of her character's abilities or powers, that was just a bit of spur of the moment creativity which worked quite well.

Valerith might be a good fight for Karasu really, you didn't seem to have a lot of armor, so she would logically be able to hit you. I think she would be faster than you, but you have vampiric abilities which might counterbalance that, depends what abilities you have in mind.

To the first point, that's true. I hadn't thought of it that way, creativity can only do so much though and fluctuate's, abilities tend to stay the same. I was offering her suggestions for her fight with Inzi.

As to the second point, she has frequently said she has no magic/holy/unholy weapons so uness there was a nice supply of garlic around it would likely be hand to hand. She (probably) has the speed, but if you got a hit or two in you would slow her down if you have some sort of draining attack, vampires usually seem to. Or the typical summoning wolves/bats etc would be a good distraction, though against her small arsenal of throwable weaponry they wouldn't do much if she kept away from them, they wouldn't exactly be able to deflect them or have armour to stop them, again, assuming you have that ability.

All Karasu has is tradition weapons... that's the problem...

Hmmm, Internet's gone a bit dodgy, just had a power fizzle, flashed off and on, second time today and, as far as i'm aware, third time this week. Refuses to refresh the pages properly, it keeps showing me old information.

NS keeps saying i have a telegram which is from Hyper from a while ago, i've deleted it 4 or 5 times, Force refresh doesn't seem to affect it. Annoying -_-

It's actualy quite rare to get a power cut here in my experience, and this is the first time i've had these power fizzle type things, three in a week can't be good really, might switch to my laptop.

Internet will fizzle out, not much chance of anything breaking due to a surge though. Actually there was one of these fizzles a week or two ago, it fused my computer's power cable, don't particularly want that happening again, not sure if i have a spare lying around, laptop it is.

I'm here... and all by my lonesome. I was wondering about the plans for the next installment. Anyone remember the continuation I suggested a while back? I figure we could do two at once. What do y'all think?

Back before the arena fight, while the group was waiting in the cell, Minos and Harlin discussed Minos' backround as a Jiltakin, and how he had departed the order on a mission to find the Scrolls of Arcturus (the Jiltakin "handbook" upon which their order is based. The founder of the order was Jiltak Arcturus). The idea was that Minos had been dispatched to retrieve these scrolls that had been dispatched across a large sea/ocean to the west for safekeeping during a period of great unrest several millenia ago.

Now, the Jiltakin have noticed that their skills have decayed as the knowledge of the pure form of their order has decayed over the ages. Thus, they wanted them back. Minos followed the Jiltakin who was dispatched to find them again, and when this man fell ill and died, Minos took up this man's Jiltak relic (the Jiltak Eye) and also his quest. He has been unable to find these scrolls though, lacking the crucial knowledge of their being secretted across the sea. Now, he's enlisted Harlin's help in the search (Harlin knows more of the legend than Minos did).

So, the continuation would be a search across the sea into uncharted lands for the Scrolls of Arcturus.

I've been waiting to be accepted or refused to join that thread for a while, Deatheron seems to not be around much. I flicked through the link to the original, it didn't actually finish, it just kind of died. They've assumed it finished and moved onto this one, which seems to be heading towards a similar fate as the original.


Blast has said something about having one with Rothargot and Rimuro, i think he said 15 years later, so unless your chars die between those periods it would be likely they could be there.
That is probably not the next one though, unless the good guys don't quite defeat Inzikai and leave a Demi-God running around for 15 years... Stranger things have happened. I would assume the book is destroyed.

As for across the sea, isn't that where the weapon Sarik seek's is? so there are likely to be several 'sub-quests' going on.

Probably won't be back for most of the day, got cousins round as I said, I might be able to check in a few times, if I see that TG Blastit i'll try to reply.

Yeah, I know about that one... 15 years later. Karasu will be in it with her son, also...

It will be weird if it runs parallel to Lich, but ...?? whateva... Parallel universes!:p

Karasu, as human, has all the jutsu powers!!... She can sink into the ground, appear as 200 of herself, appear and speak as anyone else, make an object appear as her while she is behind the enemy or whatever, use her chakras (have been doing that... ie: walking on the walls and ceilings).

I forgot that I put the jutsus in her profile... (This is the stuff from Naruto if anyone watches it.) The powers are crazy wild! And I forgot, and forgot to use them this whole RP so far! I could have appeared as Rothergart or had a book appear as me and snuck up behind Inzi and whacked him good, sunk into the ground... SHIIIIIITTTTTTTT!! :headbang:

Now, my friends, this is due to slight memory issues from all the damned meds!!!! :headbang:

Got a small break from the cousins, it's all sunny outside and they are enjoying it, i'm not a huge fan of sunlight, my vampiric tendencies :p

as i said, i Think that the sword is there, i could be getting confused, mentioned somewhere towards the beggining of the RP, so it makes sense that it could have been forgotten or i've gotten confused. It could actually be that it was mentioned in the original Lich's soul thread, Sarik was looking for the fates to ascertain the location of the sword. Ah well, Blast will clear it up when he gets online i'm sure.

We all forget things Karasu, tbh i've heard a lot about Chakras, it should have occured to me that there would have been something there. It never actually clicked when you mentioned it, i haven't seen Naruto though... or not really, i might have seen some clips on a music video once, not too sure, looked a bit weird though.

As nice as that would be in some situations, some people would just be sily with it. It sounds stupid, but i'm sure some people would delete people posts just for the sake of it or if they disagree with them. It would need to be moderated, which just makes more work for the mods in the long run.

It's not that all your abilities are useless Hyper, just the imitation one's and even then, only some of those. It doesn't stop you from imitating Cadey to trick Marlene or the others, you might even be able to imitate the vampire. As for the other abilities, i can't say i know what they are... but they would still work... unless Blast has said otherwise?

Karasu cannot fool any of the enemy because they have "auras". I should have figured that no matter what power I have, somehow it would be made useless. Fooling Marlene or Cadey is not what I wanted to do.

It would be a slight aura, since she just recieved the gift. Inzikai has grown into it quite a ways and Rothargot is a demi-god.

Hyper, I'm preventing you from imitating Rothargot or Valtrox or Inzikai because then you could just order his whole nation to jump in the water. Perhaps in the underworld it could happen, but not so much the mortal plane.

Rimoru has sort of resurected Maverion, except sort of not, have to wait for that to develop.

The others have discovered that Marlene is missing from her room and are kind of starting to make preperations to head to the docks. Lorathin is sleeping, most everyone else is pretty close to eachother.

I'm trying to get the basic things sorted, specific details and that sort of things, you will have to talk to Blast about, but if i can resolve the main problems or at least calm things down a little first, it will make everyone's lives easier. It's slow going, talking to some cousins in Brazil.

We have tried, Theao... He has shot down anything even equal to any of the other characters' power, and continued to make Karasu stay useless, as well as leave her basically out of the storyline no matter how hard I try to get her in. I was asked by him to join this in the middle of the story, so it is not my fault that my char has a few flaws, but the things he agreed to, in my profile, are now being taken from her char as well.

Using jutsus, I was thinking about making it looke like Inzi was talking to Ar'mai, when it wasn't Ar'mai, but if the enemies can tell who everyone is, that takes that away as well. I also have absolutely no allowable offensive attack. Karasu just keeps getting shoved into nowhere constantly.

Yes I can have a magic item, but it will be weak, or the power I get will be so weak that it will have no affect on anything. What kind of compromise is that?

I don't even know why he wanted me in this RP and looked at my char and if so flawed, did not make any suggestions. I did not even know this was based mostly on magic, etc. I thought it was mostly regular fighting skills, and not against demons that never take damage (from me anyway).

See... useless... no part of the plot. The NPCs have 100x more plot involvement than Karasu, and I have tried every way I can think of. I just get cut off every time.

BTW, I have enjoyed RPing with all of you, including you Blastit. We had a lot of fun together.

I am going to miss it so much. It helped get my mind off some of the medical shit, as I am home alone during the day due to the medical problems.

Blast and I are in the majority of the RPs. I always loved RPing with him. One of my favs. If I leave one, I have to leave them all, or I'll sit and wonder and feel betrayed and hurt when I think of the others... And that would mean dropping almost all the others...

No, I can't do any of it... I did not want to use it unrestricted. If that was the case, I would have no issue. I don't have ANY abilities other than plain old human abilities, which several people have told me make my character useless in battle. I have very restricted powers as a dragon, that other RPrs said are practically nothing.

When magic was suggested, it was agreeable, as long as I had no offensive power and very limited defensive power, which makes the char useless for the boat ride over. She doesn't really exist in the plot. I am not the only one who has said that either.

Not a chance. Karasu is never mentioned. Her pregnancy was the reason for the barrier, which can be used sporadically... She will be pregnant thru this RP had I stayed. She did no damage to anyone in the library skirmish, only nearly got killed. No our chars are not even close. As far as Marlene being your only char? She's still more part of the story than Karasu, no matter how much I have tried.

Yes, in the RP you do need abilities. To sit there and fight constantly and have nothing happen while everyone around you is able to do something is a complete bore and a drag. There is no point. If you want a bigger part in the RP then make one. Be creative and come up with a strong sidestory, don't become dependent on other RPers to develop your own character's story.

I have TRIED to make a bigger side story! I am not being dependent on other RPrs, however, Karasu doesn't get responses half the time, and I have tried to involve her with other chars and it is not working. She is a useless char.

I have tried everything I can... involving her more with Cade, Marlene, Rimoru (who is saving all the enemies, while conveniently forgot the best friend she wants to make everything up to is pregnant and nearly got beat to death), Sarik. That might be because not all of us are online? I had school, and then hung out with my friends before going out to dinner and then finishing my massive history project on FDR. I'm sorry if you're feeling rejected, and I realize Blastit is being ridiculous. Still, have you noticed that in Naruto, the show from which your skills come, the main character who possesses the Jutsus is nigh unbeatable. It seems a little bit like godmodding to me.

Tone it down or come up with a way to use it without impersonating Inzikai, or Valtrox. It's not as though those are the only ways to use your powers.

Yeah... the main character. I mentioned a few of the skills I was interested in. All were shot down and none were meant to be overused, etc. I'm looking at the stuff Kakashi and all the others do...

I am totally cool not impersonating Valtrox or Inzi! But every damn thing I suggest gets shot down. I can't do clones, I'm sure I can't disappear into the ground and come back up, or appear as anyone else for that matter, nor have an inanimate object be a substitution illusion for myself...

This whole blasted RP, Hyper's been tryin to kill of my evil guys (and all the other evil guys) in one or two hits. NO I wont have that.

Take Beau's army. They were wiped out within 1, yes 1 POST.

To imitate anyone in the Cult, sure, go ahead. But to imitate the 3 most powerful characters? NO

Again, imagine what she can do to ruin the whole plot if she turns into Valtrox, saying "Oh ho, I am here, by my order everyone jump in the Lustrian sea and drown to go straight to nirvana."

If she thought this was going to be a non-magic, sword fighting RP, then why did she make a dragon? Contradictions...

Take a look at all the other chars. They have not done anything that drastic. Take a look at her char...she constantly attempts drastic measures, constantly tries to finish something in one shot. She is not PATIENT to wait and see what is to happen...

I'm stressing out because Hyper continuously attempts to GOD MOD or ruin the story!

And not to mention each time I help her, I tell her advice or how things will happen... For example, the recently Library skirmish, I told her something like:

Don't battle Rothargot, you'll get wiped across the ground. Leave Kalzog against him.

Fight Inzikai, it'll provide a better match, but you won't be able to KILL HIM (I may even have said hurt him, but she has to READ WHAT I WRITE!! I remember typing that Inzikai recieved wounds from that battle from KARASU).

And Why did I have her fight Inzikai, one of the main evil guys? BECAUSE SHE TOOK OUT THE VAMPIRE IN 1 POST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This has been a hell of a misundersanding. My interpretation was that I could not impersonate anyone. I don't want to godmod! I was using Inzi as an example, and I surely didn't think of anything important, other than maybe getting the good guys in.

Where the "kill the evil guys" thing came from I have no idea, as I was told in no uncertain terms that was impossible. I only wanted to make a dent here and there. NEVER did I mention or hint that I wanted to kill all the evil guys. I wanted to be a match for one, so that a fight would be interesting, rather than me just waving a sword and nothing happening. That is all. I do not know where you got this "godmod wanna kill the evil guys" thing. I NEVER said such a thing, nor asked for a power to do it.

I think we are on different pages when we discuss powers. Seriously, you're looking at powers being used at huge levels, when I am looking at just having some powers where I can at least be a help to the good guys.

This char, being half dragon is an old char of mine. The dragon thing was APPROVED by Blastit. I used it to help villages that were being attacked. That was it. This dragon has three breath techniques that likely won't even put a dent in the evil guys. I don't mean kill, I mean just do SOMETHING!

I did not take out the vampire in one post. I spit holy water at it. Holy water that I did not have. It was up to that character whether it missed or not. Not me.

With the clone jutsu, I was looking at it as a defense power. The enemy couldn't attack me because he wouldn't know which one was me. I did not even consider it as an attack power. I based it off of Naruto, and had never seen it used as an attack. Just something to confuse the enemy.

The fight w/Inzi, which he wanted me to have, I was told I wouldn't damage him much and obviously not kill him. Well, I got one small cut on him after all that fighting. Not to mention other RPrs telling me my char is rather useless in combat.

I am seeing now when Blastit writes about the jutsu powers, we're looking at them with an entirely different outlook. I'm looking at defense and confusion, and he's looking at major offense.

I don't want to godmod. I just want to do something.

Blastit, if you recall, we TGd about wiping out the lycans at the palace with my dragon and you were cool with it, as the main fight was happening elsewhere w/Cadey, who, btw,killed Beau, yet Lup says Cadey and Karasu are the same in strength!

Karasu as a dragon would slaughter Cadeyrn and the only reason he beat Beau is because the dumb wolf got arrogtant rather than just fighting like he did against Kalzog.

My character can:
Swing a big ass sword
Resist Fire
Catch himself on fire

That's about it.

Karasu as a dragon is not ALLOWED to be strong. Blastit specified that to me.

She has three breath attacks, acid, fire, ice... which I am sure will not affect the enemies at all, not even a little bit, which would be nice, so that Karasu has some use.

So no, Karasu as a dragon could not kill Cadey.

My char can use lots of shinobi weapons in amazing ways, all amounting to nothing. Anyone Karasu fights who is arrogant (Inzi): It doesn't even get him a 2nd cut.

All my char has is what are considered "wimpy" swords that have virtually no effect on any enemy. I wouldn't have people TGing me telling me my char is useless in battle if it wasn't true and I know it! Also, that she doesn't have much of a part in the story. I have tried integrating her all over, but she gets blown off, even by Karasu, who knows she's pregnant, wants to make things up to her, but is reviving the enemies and more concerned about them. None of what I do works at all.

Cade has a horrible weakness to cold btw...

Any character can be useful in battle.

Apparently mine cannot be useful in battle. I have even been told so by others. That she is pretty useless. I agree completely. *shrugs shoulders*

I had realised you both wern't on the same page and i had tried to say that a few times and clear it up, guess I didn't get it out right. I did have a few things happening at once. So, maybe staying then Hyper?

Who told you that Karasu is useless in battle? She was clever enough to do some pretty significant damage to Valerith despite not having any special weapons, and if she'd followed up on the attack before going after other targets, it would have been her instead of Harlin that finished him off. She probably could have held her own against him even without the Holy Water. Just because he wouldn't have considered her a threat doesn't mean he would have been right, and getting sliced into little pieces is a major inconvenience even if it isn't fatal. I think that any of the other characters I'm using here would be hard-pressed to stand against her as well, and that's all without the dragon form, just using her skill with blades and the like. She is not useless!

And, yes she is useless. I was to fight Inzi... useless. The holy water was not mine. Some of us went down her abilites, which are far below everyone elses. I have severe restrictions on the dragon thing. She wants to remain anonymous as a dragon so is not changing, and even then, her restrictions likely will be so that she cannot even slightly harm the enemy.

@Kit... Well it was not until yesterday that I realized this rift is because not only are we not on the same page, we aren't in the same book, and they're both written in different foreign languages!

Blastit and I are going to talk today. The power things he brought up with the jutsus never even occurred to me. The defensive and confusion aspects are what I was looking at. So, yeah, we're looking at everything from different angles. Hopefully we will straighten everything out.

For example, when I spoke of imitating Inzi, the thought thru my mind was so he could let the good guys in. The idea of imitating Valtrox was for him to tell his minions to give the good guys the book back (he'd make up some reason), and to let them go. It never occurred to me to use them in any other way. Blastit saw it in a combat mode.

He TGd me to talk. I hope he gets on soon, as I don't know how long I can stay on...
