Lucky. The only thing worse then cleaning out a fryer, is cleaning out it's filter. You do not want to know what's left behind after a full day of frying chicken and fries, believe me.
Greywatch
29-07-2008, 22:01
Hmm I agree I don't want to know
Talrania
29-07-2008, 22:04
I'm feeling kind, so I won't tell you. But I will tell you that I had to clean them out yesterday with a leaky hose, which sprays water straight at your face because of it, and a clogged drain. Which is why I've been applying to other places for a job, but to no avail.
Greywatch
29-07-2008, 22:06
Ah, well hopefully you'll find a place
Talrania
29-07-2008, 22:07
Hopefully. Now I'm off to my grandparents house. I'll be back in, oh, maybe 4 hours. Meh.
Greywatch
29-07-2008, 22:10
Cya then, Meh
Talrania
30-07-2008, 02:01
Meh Meh Meh Meh Meh Meh Meh

That's a fun word that's nearly impossible to use in real life.

And wow. You're pretty much on all day, aren't you?
Talrania
30-07-2008, 02:02
Meh. I'm gonna read a book. I'll be back later, hopefully when the others are back too.
Greywatch
30-07-2008, 02:03
lol, when I get home I'm off for awhile doing other stuff... but yeah, I am on quite a bit. Mainly I'm not actually active... I just have it opened up and logged on whilest I work.
Talrania
30-07-2008, 02:04
Yeah, but you seem to respond fast enough... or do I just get lucky?
Greywatch
30-07-2008, 02:05
You get lucky
Talrania
30-07-2008, 02:05
Seriously, I'll be back in an hour or so.
Greywatch
30-07-2008, 02:05
And if I'm bored I update the page like every 45 seconds-3 miuntes...
Talrania
30-07-2008, 03:27
Kazaar! And where is everybody?.... Oh well, back to my book I suppose.
Greywatch
30-07-2008, 03:27

Talrania
30-07-2008, 03:28

Talrania
30-07-2008, 03:43
Now we just need Mer... hmmmm....
And when you read this, no offense Greal, but you're kinda part of another plot at this moment with Mer.

Greywatch
30-07-2008, 03:59
*Thanks Tal* I love that flavor
Talrania
30-07-2008, 03:59

30-07-2008, 04:18
Way to go, Captain Obvious. Or should I say, Sir Postalot?
Sylvonia
30-07-2008, 04:19
Well I just noticed... And don't worry, in seven posts, I won't be that.

Well, 6.
Talrania
30-07-2008, 04:20
Darn, I've still got 42 to go. 41. Whatev.
Talrania
30-07-2008, 04:20
And that's great. Then you'll be 'I like to post'. Big improvement.
Sylvonia
30-07-2008, 04:21
Compared to my current status, it's a VERY big improvement. Even more so if you know where that's a pun from.
Talrania
30-07-2008, 04:23
Not even close.
Greywatch
30-07-2008, 04:31

It's 11:33 PM where I am, I've been staying up til 1-1:30AM for this. I'm setting my deadline at Midnight tonight, I need rest.

Greywatch

Always? No, my timing is seems to be quite good at times. Especially when your off before me, it's just during the week when I have work, you get on LATE
Talrania
30-07-2008, 04:42
I just have mad summoning skills like that, thanks to Final Fantasy, I suppose.
Talrania
30-07-2008, 04:43
And I'm in the same time zone as GW. Should I wait for Umbra and Leon to fight, or should Tal arrive on the scene?
Sylvonia
30-07-2008, 04:43
Mad summoning skills from Final Fantasy? Wow, whatever you're smoking, I want some.
Talrania
30-07-2008, 04:43
Honestly though Mer, you showed up seven minutes after I said that? That's pretty awesome.
Talrania
30-07-2008, 04:44
If you've never played any Final Fantasy game, go buy one and get the 'Summoner' class. Now.
Sylvonia
30-07-2008, 04:45
Who said I haven't played FF? I own most of the games. X was by far my favorite.
Mereshka
30-07-2008, 04:46
WHO'S NEVER PLAYED FINAL FANTASY!? As soon as you are able, go buy Final Fantasy Seven, one of the best damn games ever made.
Talrania
30-07-2008, 04:47
I'm playing FFTA2 right now. It's pretty freakin' awesome.
Talrania
30-07-2008, 04:49
So Mer, when should Tal arrive?
Sylvonia
30-07-2008, 04:49
WHO'S NEVER PLAYED FINAL FANTASY!? As soon as you are able, go buy Final Fantasy Seven, one of the best damn games ever made.

I beat the snot out of FFVII. However Kingdom Hearts (the original) is currently beating the snot out of me. I completely finished KH II.

Nah, Mass Effect. #1, it kicks ass
#2 Its kicks #1's ass, just because it kicks that much ass.

Oh, and HALF LIFE IS THE BEST GAME EVAR. RAWR.
Mereshka
30-07-2008, 04:54
Whenever he wants Tal.

And Kingdom Hearts is pretty much a Final Fantasy for children.

And no, UHC, no game can beat FFVII. Ask damn near anyone whos played the FFs. 'Cept for Syl, but thats because hes young, and probably has something against the graphics.

Eh, FFVII is good, but I'm a ARPG and FPS man myself. Give me something with a shotgun and you'll keep me happy for weeks on end. AND SHAME SYL, GRAPHICS SHOULD NOT KEEP YOU AWAY! FFVII was on of the best RPGs of its era. Just like the original half life was the king of the FPS genre (and still is to this day)

No, it's damn addicting. But the damn lift gates in Hollow Bastion are screwing with my head.

I do have something against the graphics btw, but it's still a freaking great game. In my opinion they should go through, completely redo the graphics, but leave the storyline and such untouched. That way we get all the goodness of modern technology, but the awesomeness of FFVII.

I actually hear they're planning to do that. Then again, they're have been rumors of that for two years now. I say they should just stop teasing us with the likes of Crisis Core and the rather dissapointing Dirge of Cerberus.

And when it comes to FPS, my hands down favorite is FEAR, though truth be told I've never played Half Life.
Sylvonia
30-07-2008, 05:01
I hope they do. I'd buy a PS3 just for that.

And I'm not really a FPS kind of person.
Talrania
30-07-2008, 05:02
Half Life is pretty frickin' awesome. I've only played it for seven minutes, but I loved every second.
Mereshka
30-07-2008, 05:07
They would make a ridiculous amount of money off of a FFVII remake, and yet the dawdle. And I'm going to buy a PS3 for either that, or FFXIII, if they ever get around to finally getting it out. Anything else doesn't really interest me enough.

I plan on getting a Wii in about a month. Pay days are thursdays and in three weeks I will have more than enough for a Wii and a couple games (yes, I'm being stupid and could get one now, but I want to save up a bit more and get it then).

Wait, two weeks cause I get paid in 2 days. Well, just over one day really, cause I can pick my check up in the morning before work. :)

Eh, FEAR is fun, but Half-life kind of defined the sci-fi horror genre. Tension created the fear in half-life, and its also a damn good play.

I got a Wii for my youngest daughter, and my oldest Grand-kid, though hes still young to play it yet. Didn't really impress me personally.

I just bought a wireless router today so I can hook up my Wii as well as a few other things. I plan on getting Brawl as my first game. Then I'm going to sign in and kick the snot out of my friends in Lake Lillian for the first thing I do with it. :p
Greal
30-07-2008, 05:19
Mer, did you write a response about the werewolves running into Slater?

Hmm? Oh, nope. Gimme one sec...
Talrania
30-07-2008, 05:20
1. I have a wireless router, believe me, the wi-fi for Brawl sucks. I've tried countless times, and only gotten one match to work, and it had serious lag. Trust me, it doesn't work for that game.

2. You have grandkids Mer???
Sylvonia
30-07-2008, 05:23
1. Gotta be something on your end. My Lake Lillian friends aforementioned have a wireless router and it works great.

2. You just noticed him talking about them?
Talrania
30-07-2008, 05:25
1. Everyone I talk to has the same problem, but whatever.

2. Yes, yes I did. I never knew he had grandkids before. Or kids for that matter.
Sylvonia
30-07-2008, 05:27

And I'm not trying to be pushy or impatient, I'm just wondering if I should log off and return to my book. But since you are, that's cool too.
Talrania
30-07-2008, 05:35

Well that's a good reason. She's my age and in that situation, even I know something's not right there. Then again, I'm one of those "no sex before marriage" people that seems to be a dying breed in today's world.

And it's kinda a younger kids book... I just finished "IT" by Stephen King a couple days ago, and I picked up the 8th book of the 'Pendragon' series today. I already read the first seven back in 7th or 8th grade, and this one is new, so I'm reading it. It's not too bad, actually.

The 'chastity before marriage' part.

Good to hear. I'm actually rather annoyed with hearing about the opposite all the time. And on top of that, the divorce rates in current times are outrageous. What ever happened to "till death do us part?"
Mereshka
30-07-2008, 05:42

No. It's about a 14 year old from the early 1900's that gets caught in a blizzard and should have died, but didn't.

You SO need to talk to Der Teutoniker, my regional founder. You two would have a fun conversation.

Interesting choice of word to describe her husband... And not really to be honest. It still happened before they got married, and so it's still not right. Besides, knowing today's world, they have a very high chance at getting divorced. Not to disappoint you, but statistics are very against them.
Mereshka
30-07-2008, 05:48
Not if I have anything to say about it. Truth be told, I rather forced them both into it. Lydia wasn't really against it, but the kid was most definetly against. I however can be very persuasive, and I told him in no uncertain terms that if he got a child on her, he'd damn well take care of it, and the one certain way to do that was to get married. The can get a divorce when I'm dead, but until then, they'll find it damned difficult. They way I figure it, if they like each other anough to have sex, the like each other enough to be married for the rest of my life.

And yes, I used my daughter's name in an RP. So sue me.

On a happier note, however, I assume that Due Tutonsomething guy you mentioned like Robert Jordan?
No kidding!

And yes, Der Teutoniker is a HUGE fan of Robert Jordan he got kinda depressed when he died. Actually, most of my region did cause they loved his books.

Eh, the orks are funny, in a weird kind of way. The cockney is waht does it. And Space marines are just BAD ASS. But, I stick with the human races, I'm the guy who will always pick a human over anything, no matter how good the other things are.
