ooc : lol. i didnt even realize that. just sort of an allussion to where we where, if yall knew who i really was. mwahaha!

ic : *the hallway was now wide enough to drive 4 semi-trailers through and at least as tall as it was wide. ahead of them they could see the end of the hallway, or where ever it was that they where. the hall opened up to an open area, roughly circular in shap. all the cave walls had at least 2 inches of ice on top of them and there was a hole on the rough that reflected the sunlight into the cave, making the visibility better, but still very dim. near the back wall was a razed area with an ice statue of some sort on it*

ic : *a voice echoed inside Hunter's mind. it was almost inaudible and he could not understand what it was saying, but it was there. he turned to ask Mai if she heard anything, but she was no longer there. he looked back into the hallway but there was only one set of footprints in the snow, and the where his.*

what the hell is going on...

*he walked forward up to the raised platform. aranged in some sort of order where 4 things each in terrible repair and broken; a goblet that was cracked in 2, a hammer so rusted that it may as well have been dust and missing its pole, something that looked like a pitchfork, but without its points and bent in half, and the remains of something else. he wondered at what they where and why they where positioned in front of the ice scultpure. but as he looked at the statue it pulled back in shock. the man in the ice was the same one from the mirror earlier. the voice in his head became voices, all the same but hundreds of them. they all said the same thing; "touch it". he tried to stop but couldn't. he reached out a shaking hand and touched the ice. imidiately steam began to evaporate off of it and a deep red glow eminated from its heart. for the first time since he could remember, hunter was terrified, and he hauled but off the alter. the floor below him cracked. it was ice now, not snow, and he fell. the crach became wider and swallowed him. he plunged into the darkness below. a few seconds after he fell, a red light flew through the same crack and smashed into his chest. hard. Hunter's speed increased infinately and he blacked out*

She stirred a bit, then realizing where she was, jumped up with a start. Which turned out not to be such a good idea as she nearly knocked her head on the boom, which would have only returned her to sleep. Asleep at the helm? ..that's never good...

She read the note Ju had left for her and allowed a small smile. Tide had pulled her out into blue waters during her slumber, so she made a quick check of the sails before guiding the Derelict back towards the island and it's small population of miscreants.

She guided the sloop in as close as she dared. Her aim was to avoid any rocks, and to avoid running the craft aground for the sake of the mast more than anything else. She found a spot along the shoals where the waves didn't seem to break with such ferocity and dropped anchor. Climbing aloft, she tied the sails, but doing it alone proved tricky. With everything secure, she hopped in the water and waded ashore.

Look, people aren't puppies. It's not like you put up signs and say, baby found..owner can contact etc....I'm pretty sure the law would have something to say about it and I'm don't think I'm alone around here when I would say that we don't want to bring alot of heat on this place. I can appreciate your maternal instincts kicking in; but there's a practical side to this that has to be dealt with.
