Iraq/Iran front:
The sky was clear with almost no wind. The peaceful, calm air was peirced by the sight of 55 landbased cruise missiles out of Grenola Missile Base in the Zagreb Mountains. A sharp whistling sound broke the silence followed by air raid sirens from the massive Vineyard troop cocentrations the missiles, each armed with mustard gas and smallpox mrvs, were headed toward. Just a half mile up, they exploded fizzingly,with a pop, followed by the releasing a grayish green cloud that slowly drifted to the ground in the midst of the troops. The rockets and engines falling immediately the ground.

OOC: In rl, the cloud would look like a whitish misty cloud that was falling from the sky, kind of like white smoke. I use grayish green for rp effect.

OOC: A short brief of the things I remember:

* JeetKuneDoo and Mauiwowee are invadin SE China and the Philippines. I think JeetKuneDoo should have Ph. and M. should have China, but I'm not sure about that.

Norleans and Lachenburg have ended the war in Iowa and Zuhair Malik has withdrawn his troops from there. Norleans and Lachenburg created a "free zone" in Nebraska and Iowa identical to the one you have with Norleans in Nebraska and Colorado and they have both asked that you join Colorado to the Nebraska/Iowa agreement so there is a Colorado/Nebraska/Iowa "free zone" strip. You'll get free access to the Mississippi River this way as well as the ability to place a military base in Iowa if you join it. Norleans has also sent an invasionary force of about 60,000 men into South Dakota behind your airstrikes to secure that territory and sent another 75,000 man force into Illinois to take that and continues to fight in the American Virgin Islands.

I'm involved in the conquest of S.E. China and Northern Indonesia (which Warta Endor and I are going to split between us). I'm about to be involved with Whittier- in an attack on Vineyard to I have a feeling.

Our FOAM ally, Warta Endor is having trouble in Africa with Doomingsland and Kopparbergs and might need some assistance there if you can spare it.

Dear General:

We are aware of your difficulties in Africa. So many of our forces are deployed already in S.E. China and Northern Indonesia that our ability to assist you is limited. However, 2 full carrier groups and 100,000 troops have been dispatched from Brazil to assist you in defending your African holdings. Both carriers are equipped with F23A-Raptor fighters. We've also placed 100 of our Head Rush aircraft, outfitted as long range bombers, based in Rio at your disposal. The commanders of the ships and our forces have been instructed to report to your generals for deployment and attack orders. Each carrier group has:

1 Carrier
4 Battleships
6 Destroyers
4 Medical Ships
2 Sub-Hunters
1 Submarine

Our troops and their transports will also be bringing 500 tanks (M1-Abrams) and 1,000 Ferret APV's with Javelin Missile Launchers and an additional 250 Ferrets with 105 mm, smoothbore low profile guns. We hope this is of assistance to you and we regret our inability to do more.

We'd ask that you consider a cease fire and diplomatic efforts to resolve the issues in Africa. OOC: Rather than it being a communique' I'm going to RP it like your ambassador said this directly to Queen Harriet in their conference.

"Ambassador Lindsworth, our ability to commit ground forces is limited, our military is stretched too thin at this time due to our campaign in S.E. China and Northern Indonesia. We have also committed some troops to our ally, Warta Endor, in defense of his holdings in Africa. However, we can offer this assistance:
We have directed our submarines to attack any and all Vineyardian vessels where ever in the world they may be found, oil tankers, cargo ships, merchant marine, military ships, etc. they are all fair game and are to be sunk on sight. We currently have some 50 submarines deployed in world wide waters and we will cripple his navy, just as the Germans did with their "wolf packs" to the allies in WWI and WWII. Likewise, our other naval vessels not already involved in operations in Indonesia, China and Africa have been given the same orders. That puts another, approximately, 20 full carrier groups around the world on alert to sink and destroy Vineyardian vessels. We'll cut off their supply chain and logistical support and cripple their economy by wiping out their oil exports this way.
As to the defense of Pandora's box, As we speak, our 5 functioning Links 50/50 craft have been launching for that purpose. The orbital vehicles are armed with targeted EMP devices and javelin missile variants to be used to "take out" Vineyardian craft and satellites.

****High over the middle east, 75 miles up****

Colonel Liam was alone in space on board his Orbital 50 craft. The beauty of space and the world below him was lost on him though, he had too much to do. Speaking into his head mike:

"Vineyardian craft spotted at 0900 hours. Targeted EMP engaged, apparently a succesul strike as lights went out and electronics seem to have failed, 2 missiles launched and evasive manuevers begun. The laser guidance system is doing a good job at keeping the craft away from the deployed space mines. Pandora's box satellite coming up."

***In the Indian Ocean***

"Sir, we've spotted a Vineyardian oil tanker. She's riding high, probably not loaded, and appears to be headed for the Persian Gulf, probably to take on a load."

"Not if we can help it sailor" said the sub's captain "fire torpedoes at will, let's sink that ship."

10 minutes later, 6 torpedoes sped towards their target and the sub began to dive.

Ambassador Lindsworth was pleased with the progress of the talks.
"Your majesty, the government of Whittier shares your concerns about the goings on in Africa. We fear that if the nations involved in that conflict do not put aside their differences, they will make themselves too weak to counter a Vineyard offensive against their lands. We believe that we need the Africans to help us in our war against Vineyard, as such, Whittier is prepared to do its part in helping to bring peace and conciliation to the nations of Africa.
As your government may know, we were recently forced to use nuclear weapons against Jamaica, due to that nation giving warships and other weapons to aid the Vineyard quest for world conquest. While we are sure that Vineyard will never again gain weapons from Jamaica, it is not in our nation's nature to allow that island to continue to suffer the results of nuclear radiation exposure. Within 2 hours of our attack on the island, a detachment of Marines in radiation suits were deployed to Jamaica to begin clearing the island of radiation and treat surviving locals for radiation sickness. We are also sending food and water to the island as the local supplies have been contaminated. Our intention is to restore Jamaica to better than it was before we nuked it. We are currently sending more radiation specializing medical teams to the island. Any support we can get from the north americans or south americans on this matter would be greatly appreciated. We only hope we won't have to use these weapons again in this war. But we can assure you as we assure the world, that if we are forced to use nuclear weapons, we will do the same for those nation's and territories as we are currently doing for Jamaica. At this moment we have pledged 24billion dollars to cleaning up and restoring Jamaica.
We do however, have concerns about the position of The Great Sixth Reich regarding our war against Vineyard in the middle east. We have attempted to contact their govt. but we have as yet, received no response. We would like their assistance in reigning in Vineyard's world domination plans. But as of yet, we have no formal way of contacting them.It would be immensely helpful if they could declare their lands off limits for offensive actions against Whittier, that way we could focus on Vineyard forces in Southern Iraq instead of having to also worry about something coming from Northern Iraq."

We are sending 200,000 troops from Laos into SE China to help you. You can take your troops out of the Phillipines now and use them for other things.

Telegram to Warta Endor:
We are sending 100,000 soldiers by air, 100 Sliver fighters and 75 Wyvern bomber/transports to your holdings in Africa.

A conference is still discussing on what to do about your situation. We will give a response once the conference is over.

*a unison of sounds fill the air and trambles the very earth as the massive united fleet of Vineyard colses in on outnumbered Whittier- ships.*
"Ok, all battle ships engage, frigates close in and bord the crippiled ships with marines. destroiers, sink thosem subs, they shouldn't be a problem. Subs and all other ships, protect the carriers. carriers: LAUNCH!"
X-31 and X-36a planes planes scream into the air and gather bove the fleet while battleships, frigates, and destroiers close in. the battleships pull hard to starboard side and let lose thousands of tamohawk missles and cannon fire at the enemy fleet. As the battle ships commence firing at will, a large 'arrow' formation of X-31 and X-36a planes scream towards the enemy ships, letting loose their air- to- sea missles and then roceed to engage any enemy fighters, and strafe decks of ships all while engaging in evasive maneuvers.

Wrong, I've been RP'ing my "Targeted EMP System" for quite some time now, well before Earth V ever came into existence. It basically uses a deflecter type dish and sends a targeted EMP Pulse out in a focused "beam" and does not affect the ship that is using it. It's effective range is limited to 2-3 miles though and your ship must be caught square in the pulse or it will have no effect whatsoever. With computer aided targeting and timing, it is effective in striking it's target and disabling electronics completely for about 2-3 minutes only about 85% of the time. It is primarily used as a defensive system to knock down incoming missiles by shutting down guidance and controls systems. In space though, it could be used as I described to cripple a ship or satellite long enough for me to get a missile away.
You'll note I also RP'd the encounter as "belief" the EMP had disabled your ship and I launched 2 missiles, but I did not say whether they struck your ship, that would be a god mod in my book, likewise it is for you to say your missiles hit my ship, which part of your reply I am ignoring. It's up to us to admit or refuse to accept a hit by missiles, torpedoes, etc. Just like I RP'd a torpedo attack on you tanker, but have left it to you to decide if it was succesful. A good RP'er will take losses, a bad one never accepts having been defeated or even damaged.

Just as the craft were leaving, 2 missles streaked out from the formation destroing the sunbursts so the craft won't fall to enemy hands.

Ok, I come back after maybe five days of not looking at NS. What the crap? Whittier-, how can you assume I'm Vineyard's puppet? It's just a stupid thing to do, without even so much as sending me a telegram. Look at me, I'm very angry now! :P Grrrr.

Anyway, my point is this: I am going to ignore every one of your posts beginning with the one where you made it clear that you believe I am Vineyard's puppet. It seems to me to be a very stupid thing on your part to just assume that I'm Vineyard's puppet simply because he defends me in my absence. Also, you never initiated a nuclear strike on Tenebricosis in any of your posts, according to what you wrote. I see you took up the Rods of God idea from that Scientific American magazine or where-ever. However, Titanium as a rod would fail miserably. It's not dense enough. Upon impact, it would simply yield to the force, maybe destroying the roof of the building it hit. Besides, you never RPed building it or asked TG6R if it was acceptable.

I never said I had totally conquered Iran. Vineyard did. My troops are, as I left them, still in combat with whatever you send. 16 million troops, though. 16 million, highly patriotic, well-payed and well-equipped, propaganda-resistance troops. Vineyard's a bit of a fool for claiming victory in my place. Vineyard, I slap you with a dead fish for this.

I agree that this needs to be started over in a seperate thread due to the fact that it is just too time consuming to go through all those other posts just to find the ones related to this particular war. If possible I propose that we coordinate this via Yahoo Messenger to smooth out the details and keep the thread clean. While we are at it, we can post at the beginning of the thread what we have. I won't use anything except what is already posted in my armed forces earth V thread. Vineyard should have a better understanding of PB by now, though I will still need help defending it as it is based on the most advanced modern tech while his space fighters are modern tech. PB not being designed to deal with advanced space fighters with light speed tech.
Everyone involved in the war should sign onto yahoo IM if they can. My YIM is vetobob.

With that, the siren went off, and the aircraft screws scrambled out of the barracks to man their B109 Longswords. Each bomber had 8 LSLRM-AS-ER missiles, perfect for the mission they were about to partake in. 12 bombers took off, heading to 80,000 feet and accelerating to mach 3, heading towards the fleet. A few hours later, the aircraft were 1200 miles away from the enemy. The bomb bays swung open, and the missiles dropped out, their scramjets initiating, rocketing them to an altitude of 100,000 feet at a speed of mach 10. They would cruise towards the fleet, and once over, the scramjets would shut off, and a nose mounted boosted would kick on, sending the missile into a nose dive. Once in a dive, the scramjet would turn back on, sending the missile to a velocity of nearly mach 20. The missiles would plunge into the decks, using sheer kinetic energy to shatter the hulls. A total of 96 missiles were launched.

Africa, 3rd Army

General Magnus surveyed the vast army stretched across the desert. They were 50 miles away from the Warta Endoran front line where the were hunkered down.

"Commence fire!" he shouted over the radio. The ground shook as 150 M2001 Crusaders opened fire with their 155mm guns. They were targeting enemy bunkers and tank concentrations. They were testing out a new GPS guided rocket assisted shell with a maximum range of over 60 miles, and accuracy of up to 20 meters on the target. They continued fireing for 20 minutes, expending well over 4,000 shells. While that was occuring, the main body advanced to 20 miles from the target. From 21 miles away, 200 M270 MLRS systems opened up on trench systems, each one expending 12 fuel air rockets in under one minute. The rockets would burst 30 meters above the heaads of the enemy infantry, filling the air with flammable gas and igniting it, literaly sucking the men inside out (see Russian campaign in Chechnya).

The tanks pushed forward, stretched over an area of 30 miles. From a range of 4.5 miles, the 2,000 Emperor tanks opened up on surviving armored units with their 145mm ETC guns, hoping to quickly finish them off. Once that occured, they would push through the gap in the line with the mechanised infantry, and the two corps would split off to head to their objectives.

100 F/A25C Hounds vectored onto the incoming JeetKuneDo fighters and bombers. Each one had 6 Phoenix II AAMs, and two sidewinders. At a range of 100 miles, each fighter launch their Phoenix missiles, allowing for an E767 to guide them onto the targets, making for a grand total of 600 mach 3.5 missiles streaking towards their targets from beyond visible range. The fighters then broke and headed for base, and local air defences came online.

If any of the enemy fighters somehow survived, they would be greeted by a huge anti-air defence in the form of three carrier battle groups (who launched the fighters) equiped with Jericho, and land based SA10, SA12, and Patriot PAC-2 and 3 batteries, all in concealed positions.

Bridge of the DLS Imperium

The Imperium was one of the 3rd Fleet's SAM ships, and the first of her class, the Imperium class. She was a heavy cruiser, sporting 4 18" ETC guns and 120 cells for launching missiles. Her powerful Jericho system illuminated the remaining fighters pretty easily, making them sitting ducks.

"Cap'n, we're picking up ten bandits."

The hatches of the verticle launch systems swung open, and out shot 40 SM2ER surface to air missiles from a range of 100 miles. The missiles flew out into the air, and streaked towards the surviving aircraft. If they got any closer, they would not only face SM2MR missiles, but other ships, as well.

The aircrafts detonated themselves making an explosion in a 50 mile radius.

ooc. not sure how far it would be for them to be in sight but the explosion should reach farther than how far they are.

OOC:The only way they can have a 50 mile radius is if they had a thermonuclear device exceeding 20 megatons, and that bomb would be much bigger than the plane itself, and I doubt you'd be able to equip all of your fighters with a nuclear device. The best you could probably do would be to have a large C4 charge built into the plane, and that wouldn't have anywhere near the radius of a nuke.

As for an update, I've initiated an offensive on Warta Endor's strongpoints in Africa. I'll quote the post for you to see (since I'm also attacking your fleet).

"Sir, this just came from intel. Warta is recieving reinforcements from Mauwiwowee."

"Ah, lemme see that." replied General Crassus, picking up the report. "Good, their troops will be sitting ducks. Sink their ships ASAP, for them to divert even more troops would leave the vulnerable."

"Yes, sir."

"Sir, orders from the High Command. We are to deploy immediatly and halt reinforcements from arriving in Africa."

"Eh? Ah, yes. Order the men to man their aircraft."

With that, the siren went off, and the aircraft screws scrambled out of the barracks to man their B109 Longswords. Each bomber had 8 LSLRM-AS-ER missiles, perfect for the mission they were about to partake in. 12 bombers took off, heading to 80,000 feet and accelerating to mach 3, heading towards the fleet. A few hours later, the aircraft were 1200 miles away from the enemy. The bomb bays swung open, and the missiles dropped out, their scramjets initiating, rocketing them to an altitude of 100,000 feet at a speed of mach 10. They would cruise towards the fleet, and once over, the scramjets would shut off, and a nose mounted boosted would kick on, sending the missile into a nose dive. Once in a dive, the scramjet would turn back on, sending the missile to a velocity of nearly mach 20. The missiles would plunge into the decks, using sheer kinetic energy to shatter the hulls. A total of 96 missiles were launched.

Africa, 3rd Army

General Magnus surveyed the vast army stretched across the desert. They were 50 miles away from the Warta Endoran front line where the were hunkered down.

"Commence fire!" he shouted over the radio. The ground shook as 150 M2001 Crusaders opened fire with their 155mm guns. They were targeting enemy bunkers and tank concentrations. They were testing out a new GPS guided rocket assisted shell with a maximum range of over 60 miles, and accuracy of up to 20 meters on the target. They continued fireing for 20 minutes, expending well over 4,000 shells. While that was occuring, the main body advanced to 20 miles from the target. From 21 miles away, 200 M270 MLRS systems opened up on trench systems, each one expending 12 fuel air rockets in under one minute. The rockets would burst 30 meters above the heaads of the enemy infantry, filling the air with flammable gas and igniting it, literaly sucking the men inside out (see Russian campaign in Chechnya).

The tanks pushed forward, stretched over an area of 30 miles. From a range of 4.5 miles, the 2,000 Emperor tanks opened up on surviving armored units with their 145mm ETC guns, hoping to quickly finish them off. Once that occured, they would push through the gap in the line with the mechanised infantry, and the two corps would split off to head to their objectives.

"Sir, long range radar reports incoming aircraft and missiles and sats confirm." said XO Bonnie Parker.

"Thank you Commander Parker." said Captain Khlyde Barro "Number, range, source and TOI (OOC: Time of Impact) estimates?"

"12 aircraft so estimate 96 missiles, 8 each. Aircraft range, 1,200 miles so specific missile targeting is problematic at best. Likely source, Sicily - Doomingsland territory. TOI, 30 minutes."

"Air cover?" said the Captain

"30 planes up sir, scramble gives us 15 more before TOI."

"Other ships?"

"Carrier Shaggy reports ready, 10 planes up, 10 more with scramble order. TEMP system (OOC: Targeted EMP Systems) online and functional, all craft. Entire fleet in deployment plan 'Pompeii' with troop and equipment transports in pattern "Etna" well back of the task force."

To an outsider looking in, the scene on the bridge of the Carrier Jinkies would have seemed surreal in its calm. The fleet was under attack, by a well equipped enemy with technology equal to the task and equal to the fleet's ability to defend itself. However, Captain Barro had not been made Commander of Mauiwowee's Atlantic Fleet on a whim or by currying political favor. He had proven himself. Seven years as a SEAL, 5 more as a carrier based fighter pilot, 8 as 1st Officer of a Destroyer and 6 as XO on a Carrier in the Pacific. He knew his job, he knew his men and his ship and his number one rule: "Don't Panic! - Calmer heads will always win the day." His XO, Ms. Parker, knew and understood this and was in agreement with this philosphy of command. She had done her time as a SEAL and 1st officer on a Battleship. Reporting the facts was her job, she knew it and she knew it well. Captain Barro had requested her assignment to him because he knew this about her. The 'grunts' thought they were both "hard asses" and made jokes, but they also respected their ability to command and the requests to be assigned to the Jinkies far outweighed the available open slots at any given time.

"Issue the scramble order." said Captain Barro. Within seconds, planes began taking off from the two Carriers.

"Next," said Captain Barro, "I want a full stop for 15 minutes on the troop and supply ships and then a full ahead with a 6 Degree South change in course for the troop's ships and a 6 degree north change in course for the supply vessels. They're already spread in the 'Etna' formation, let's see what happens when they split that up right before missiles arrive."

WHOOSH!!!--- the sound of aircraft leaving the deck drowned her reply, but Captain Barro new his XO was making sure his order was carried out.

"I want our pilots fed coordinates for the incoming missiles, not for Doomingsland's planes. They are to launch all their missiles and begin machine gun fire at the missiles when in range."

"Sir!" said Commander Parker "Doomingsland's planes will get away, the attack on our fleet will go unanswered! Surely you mean to attack them as well?"

"No commander, I don't!" said Captain Barro, in as close to an agitated voice as he came too while on duty. "Not now anyway." he said in an instantly calmer tone. "Our job is to get this fleet, its troops and equipment to Africa, not to engage the enemy. I'm going to carry out that job first as will you. Understood?"

"Yes sir" said XO Parker, slapping herself mentally and realizing the intelligence in the plan and noting it for further reference in her mind's book of Officer Command Functions.

"What about the task force Captain?" she said as she confirmed the prior orders to the others on the bridge for action.

"Full ahead for 10 minutes with a two degrees north change in course then we come about and head back to the transport's last position." Said Captain Barro. "Commander, you're Doomingsland, what is your assignment?"

XO Parker had undergone this type of test before, It took only a second to form her answer: "Stop reinforcements from getting to Warta Endor in Africa." she said.

"Good." said the Captain, "and how do you do that?"

"Destroy the transport and equipment vessels at sea.' She said without a moment's hesitation.

"Excellent, and what are we?"

"Their escort!" She exclaimed, realizing she had figured it out perfectly.

"Exactly Commander, Doomingsland wants them, not us."

"Understood sir, completely!" said XO Parker. "I know what to do."

"I thought you would Commander" said the Captain. "Now, what is today?" he continued.

Responding in a commander's tone, XO Parker said "Today? Today is a good day to die."

Saluting each other, the commanders turned to their duties. XO Parker relaying commands to the ship personnel and radioing orders to the others in the task force and information back to Brazil. Captain Barro to his position with Binoculars on the Con.

Exactly on time, the missiles began to fall. Thanks to the action of Captain Barro and XO Parker though, losses were minimized. The TEMPs took out more than their fair share based on the Mach 20 speed as they fell. The sudden course changes and extreme distance at launch had their effect as well. Despite their precautions though, the fleet did not escape unscathed. The battleships Koala and Amazon were sunk when missiles plowed through them. The Destroyer Khan was heavily damaged and sent back to Brazil under diesel power at 1/4 speed. The Carrier Shaggy was damaged when a missile hit the water just to her stern and damaged her screw forcing a shut down of one of her reactors. Two supply vessels were also sunk taking 80 tanks to the sea bed with them. Finally, 4 transports were hit. 3 sank taking almost 4,000 men down with them. The 4th was heavily damaged and over 1,000 were killed there as well. However, thanks to the thoughtfullness and calm of Captain Barro, not a single plane was lost. All in all, 5,200 of the men destined as ground forces for Africa were killed and another 623 were wounded. On the other hand, 1,112 sailors and ship's crewmen lost their lives and another 234 were reported as wounded. Of the 100,000 men sent with their equipment to Africa, 93,400 actually made it to shore to assist Warta Endor.

Hangzhou is basically ours with only minor fire fights taking place here and there; primarily in the southern part of the city. The advance on Helei is going as scheduled."

"About 2,400 dead, 6,000 wounded so far. Estimate 5,400 enemy kills, unknown wounded."

"What about southern command?"

"Guangzhou is secure. 1st - 3rd armored Calvary is on schedule to attack Nanning and cut off Zhanjiang and isolate the Hainan pennisula. 9th and 10th divisions are advancing to Guiyang. Casualties are not reported as of yet."

"Head Rushes from Hong Kong are doing their job in the south. A few dog fights, not many though. Air Central is claiming an armored column of 40 tanks and troops were destroyed north of Guangzhou, but we can't confirm that. Our carriers here report little resistance to the F-23A's since we took out Shanghai's air command center. They're currently using missiles to support our boys in Nanjing."

"Ok Colonel, thanks. Get the Southern casualties figures for me, General Ripper will want me and get some confirmation on our aircraft's effectiveness and that armored column they're claiming. 75 miles up

Captain Liam was oblivous to the beauty of the earth below him, he was focused on a singular mission, locate and destroy Doomingsland communications and imaging satellites. Captains Kline, DeLarge, Jolie and Eids were engaged in the same mission in other parts of space. They had 5 days before they would have to land, no time to look at neat stuff. Spotting an imaging satellite with Doomingsland markings over the Mediterranean, he angled in close. A quick Targeted EMP burst and the sattelite shut down. 3 minutes max before it would likely come back on line, just enough time. He fired a missile and the satellite errupted into a ball of flame. One down, god knows how many more to go. He wouldn't blow them all up, most he would just push out of orbit using the satellite retrieval arm, but he wanted to ensure Doomingsland got the message, some one was poking their eyes out. By this time, his fellow space pilots had sent 2 communications satellites spinning out of orbit as well. But space was big, and they were only 5 ships. This was going to be a long, hard 5 days.

OOC:OK, first of all, how did you manage to even hit my missiles when they were above the maximum cieling of practically all of your fighters, and beyond the range of the TEMP? Second thing, at their speed, it would have been impossible for fighters to intercept, because they'd overshoot almost as soon as they were within range. Third thing, if you EMPed them as they were coming down, it's not gonna make a difference since they're already pointed at the target and are going so fast that it'd be impossible to miss. Please fix your losses.

WE, just because you outnumber me doesn't mean I'm gonna get my ass kicked, seeing that I have superior technology at my disposal and my men are probably alot better trained than your's (I'm 1.3 billion pop with a 12 million man army, that allows for me to spend much more per man than you). You should take that into consideration with your losses, plus, since your dug in, it'll take awhile for your units to get moving. I'd like some losses from my tanks and artillery, if you don't mind (on a 30 mile stretch of desert being attacked by 80,000 guys, you'd probably be overrun pretty quickly on that small area).

Oh, yeah, you don't have 190,000 allied reinforcements yet, seeing that JeetKuneDo didn't post losses

Also, I'd like some specs on those space fighters (and you relize I have defence satelites up, right)

"Sir, detecting spacecraft approaching friendly satelites."

Before the spacecraft even fired their missiles, twelve orbiting defence satelites launched two missiles each at them. In addition to that, each one began burning away at them with their lasers, which would have a near infinite range in space due to the fact there is nothing hampering it (except its target, of course.)

Warta Endor controled Maurantania

As the F16s got near the border, 10 Patriot PAC-2 GEM+ batteries lit up and targeted them. At a range of 100 km (before they even launched their missiles), the patriots each launched 2 missiles at the hostile aircraft. Due to the lack of stealthy features on the F16I, they would have almost no chance of survival.

OOC:Now that you got that, you can pretty much count that the artillery fired on schedual, and the attack went on, so post losses from that. Remember, they're GPS guided shells, meaning just about all defencive structures in the line will be destroyed within a few volleys.

Gen. Turkmanstazi and several agents with dark sunglasses and swirling capes steped out of their hummers, as they had just arrived in Tehran.
"See where this meeting is to take place." he ordered. One agent strode away.
"Find me a hotel." and yet another agent strode away in another direction.
"You, give this message to the gov't of whittier-." he handed a folded and sealed letter to an agent who started walking towards the Whittier- gov't buildings.

Otto von Hienkel Rommel choose the Germanic tribes and was the defender, Vineyard choose the Roman Julii Family and was the attackers. Today we have fought down a couple of resistance camps along the border to Mauritania. We've lost 10 Abraham-tanks, they drove into a minefield. The whole crews are lost, five men survived, but they were shot down when they left the tanks – a total of 90 good soldiers gone. One JAS-plane was shot down in the southern part of Western Sahara – we don't know if it was Warta Endor or some local guerrilla who shot it down. To be sure it wasn't guerrilla we have bombed a large area around the shot down.

We have created a big airfield at the coast, near the village of El Aaiun. You may want to send us more JAS-planes and B52's. We might need them in the future.

I think that we need three more days before we have the whole country under control. There might be some more guerilla-attacks, but we can handle them.

Today Whittier's Ambassador to Yemen and his entire staff and his family were brutully butchered by Yemeni scumbags.
A delegate who sent to Yemen to retrieve the bodies was met with this statement from the Yemeni regime:
"If you come for the corpses you will wind up like one."
The Whittier government has said that its people were on a peaceful mission.
It has been disclosed that the Secretary General is outraged that Yemenis are demanding 450 billion dollars in return for the bodies and the safe return of Whittier's envoy. When questioned about the matter he was qouted as saying "Whittier gives into intimidation from no one."
There are currently 54 Whittierites being held hostage by Yemeni terrorists. That's down from 60 due to recent beheadings.
When asked what course the government was taking, officials said that at the moment sanctions had been imposed on Yemen. When someone said troops should be sent in, the Minister Defense said the government was not ruling out the use of force to see the release of the hostages.
There are other foriegners being held as hostages in Yemen by the terrorists who have not yet identified themselves.

This has just come in, Uzbeks attempting to derail the global peacetalks have blown themselves up in North Tehran Mall. There has been massive damage and huge casualties.
Officials say the attempt to blame the Vineyardians for the attack was foiled because the terrorists spelled Vineyard Liberation Front wrong, spelling it Finyard Libertyton Font. Also, the writing was analyzed and found to be that of an agent of the Uzbeki government.
Brezhnekov replied to the attacks saying: "This just goes to show how far some radicals in the world will go to stop the progress of peace." When asked he said the peace talks would go on and reiterated Whittier's ability to protect foreign dignitaries.

Ireland, now a provence of USSNA, is expected to be holding elections for key government positions within a month. OOC:OK, first of all, how did you manage to even hit my missiles when they were above the maximum cieling of practically all of your fighters, and beyond the range of the TEMP? Second thing, at their speed, it would have been impossible for fighters to intercept, because they'd overshoot almost as soon as they were within range, and the missiles would be waaaayy to slow to even have a snowball's chance in hell of hitting. Third thing, if you EMPed them as they were coming down, it's not gonna make a difference since they're already pointed at the target and are going so fast that it'd be impossible to miss. Please fix your losses.

WE, just because you outnumber me doesn't mean I'm gonna get my ass kicked, seeing that I have superior technology at my disposal and my men are probably alot better trained than your's (I'm 1.3 billion pop with a 12 million man army, that allows for me to spend much more per man than you). You should take that into consideration with your losses, plus, since your dug in, it'll take awhile for your units to get moving. I'd like some losses from my tanks and artillery, if you don't mind (on a 30 mile stretch of desert being attacked by 80,000 guys, you'd probably be overrun pretty quickly on that small area).

Before the spacecraft even fired their missiles, twelve orbiting defence satelites launched two missiles each at them. In addition to that, each one began burning away at them with their lasers, which would have a near infinite range in space due to the fact there is nothing hampering it (except its target, of course.)

As the F16s got near the border, 10 Patriot PAC-2 GEM+ batteries lit up and targeted them. At a range of 100 km (before they even launched their missiles), the patriots each launched 2 missiles at the hostile aircraft. Due to the lack of stealthy features on the F16I, they would have almost no chance of survival.

OOC:Now that you got that, you can pretty much count that the artillery fired on schedual, and the attack went on, so post losses from that. Remember, they're GPS guided shells, meaning just about all defencive structures in the line will be destroyed within a few volleys.

4. You must of had something. I saw something hit them at the start of the game, but then the fireing stopped for some reason.

The game glitch is call "unsync" or "unsyncing", and happens when somebody was an inferorior computer. Whose's that is we will discuss in homeroom. The results of the glitch are unreal: An entire battle could be autogenerated past the halfway point, resulting in even both players losing or winning.

2 IL 102's were already in the air awaiting the TGSR dignitaries arrival.
One of the pilots was temporarily blinded a laser beam, when his radar went beserck with the incoming warning buzzer. The pilot of the other IL 102 saw it. A shoulder launched stinger. One air to air missile was fired. The precision guided munition hit its target a minute later as the 1st IL 102 began its speedy climb to get away, not that he needed to. FireFox 2 then swept around and with a click of a button fired off 2 sparrow air to ground missiles at the area the stinger had come from. Clouds immediately rose to the ground violently. Whoever was down there,had to be dead unless they were smart and moved away, but even then they wouldn't had time to avoid being critically injured. Meantime, troops on the ground began an armed manhunt for the culprits. They were certain to find them.

This is Kasina Lusvan reporting for Sharina InterEarth Information Network, or SIEIN. We bring you news on the Canada War, Sharina's fourth war in North America.

Our forces have rolled up the insurgents and rebels in North Dakota without much incident. With the destruction of so many of North and South Dakota's major cities and infrastructure, the insurgents and rebels have lost nearly their entire will to fight. There have been reports of several dozen rebel and insurgent groups surrendering to Sharina, and revealing the location of fellow rebel and insurgent bases.

We have also secured and annexed the Yukon, a former province of Yevon of Spira, a nation that dissolved into anarchy and disorder earlier this year. Remarkable progress has been made in the territories of Nunavut, as most of the loyal Yevonites are still holding out in the mainland. We have secured approximately 95% of all of Nunavut's islands and isles. Nunavut is fully expected to be annexed within a week.

Saskatchewan is still offering formidable resistance, as most of Yevon's hardcore governmental officials, leadership, and loyal military forces have holed up there. However, their numbers are much less than they once were. Experts have estimated Yevon's former military strength to be approximately 15 - 20 million combat ready soldiers before the Collapse. Military intelligence has indicated that there are approximately 1 to 1.5 million loyal soldiers in Saskatchewan, a pale shadow of Yevon's former military might.

In related news, our forces in Latin America have officially declared that all gurriella and insurgent resistance has ended in El Salvador, Honduras, and Nicaruga. The majority of the Sharina Caribbean Navy has departed, leaving several dozen ships to stand guard over the Caribbean coasts of Honduras and Nicaruga aganist any aggression while Sharina rebuilds these devasated provinces.

The Caribbean Navy has departed for places unknown, and military officials are tight lipped on the whereabouts or intended plans for the Caribbean Navy.

The Pacific Navy has resumed its routine patrol and guard duty of Sharina's extremely long Pacific coastline, supplemented by the Coastal Veristek Wall.

The newly commissioned Arctic Navy has proven invaluable in our offensives and securing of Yevon's former territories in Canada. Without the Arctic Navy, the war would have been five times as bloody, expensive, and difficult than it currently is.

I went MIA for about 30 hours, and I come back, and there's like 200 - 300 new posts. Earth V sure has picked up A LOT in the past week. We're nearing the 2000th post mark!!!

A few notes regarding my activity....

I'd like full recongition of my ownership of Yukon, North Dakota, and Nunavut. Yukon would have fallen quickly to my experienced troops from the Alaska - British Columbia War, and North Dakota has been bombed to hell and back by millions of pounds of napalm.

By the time I post my next IC segment, Nunavut will be fully controlled as my forces would have destroyed resistance there (I treat each RL day as a month in Earth V).

I'm holding off "full control" of Saskatchewan as I plan on bringing my Pra'vac character there, and engage in a few RP posts there. I'm trying to keep it realistic while not dragging on too long. There's always a loyal cadre of followers and such who remain loyal to the old government, and in this case, Yevon's old government. I'm allowing for some stiff resistance rather than "Sharina takes everything, no problem."

My Caribbean Navy is headed for some activities aganist several Caribbean islands. Free brownie points to whoever can guess my targets in the Caribbean. ;)

I'll post my response to Whittier's and Norlean's diplomacy in my next post. I remember Whittier offered an alliance, and Norleans invited me to a treaty conference with Lachenberg to set up free trade, military, etc. in Colorado - Nebraska - Iowa "triangle".

After several terrotist strikes by the Vineyard liberation Front (vineyardian minority muslims with bombs) that caused the deaths of 37 soldiers, 2 million troops moved into Yemen, Brutally chushing all resistance. There are several recorede incidents where Vineyard soldiers are reputed to ge beserk when a comrad is killed by a terrorist fighter. One such incident occured when a terrorist knifed a soldiers buddy to death. The soldier then emptied no less than 40 rounds on the terrorist. Also, several terrorist prisioners were found tourtured to death, but right now, the gov't of Vineyard is saying that the terrorists tourtured themselves to death. Unorthodox deaths like these are causing a bit of a stir with the Vineyard Humanitarian society, but all members involved in those protests have dissappeared. Currently the gov't of Vineyard has their armies pushing slowly, trying to build up resistance to their drive. By distracting more and more fighters to deal with them, they are weakening the shore defences for whittier- troops. Intel. says that the Vineyard Armies are doing a swell job with attracting enemy resistance.

CNN Headline News Special Report:Bombs over Yemen.

According to reports, Whittier has begun airstrikes over Socotra Island and over Yemen proper in response to the terrorists refusal to free all international hostages they are using.
One Yemeni camp is reportedly under attack by WHittier special operations troops.
The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Marine Expeditionary Divisions are said to be preparring for an amphibious assualt on the Socotra Island and an undisclosed location on the beaches of Yemen proper.
The 1st airwing, composed of Mig 29's has commenced attacks on one of the terrorists camps and has completely obliterated a radio antennae being used to spout out proterrorism propaganda. The Antennae belonged to Jihad Against the World Broadcasting Network.
Meantime, 3 Blackhawks that were sent in to bring troops out of the nation, for a rest after they had just accomplished an important mission were shot down by a stinger antiair missiles. The disposition of the pilots is unknown and there are search parties looking for them. But the military says it is increasingly likely the crews are dead.

In the latest development, a small group of special ops agents has seized control of Socotra Island, according to Whittier govt. reports. The officials reported there was no resistance.

Tanks include a 120 mm cannon, a machine gun on top, with Anti aircraft capibilities with the cannon, being able to load homing anti- air missles of various types. The tank has Very thick armor, almoast 2 feet thick. The Turret has quick turning capabilities. The crew will involve 3 men; the driver/commander, machine gunner, and the loader/gunner. Although this tank is a powerhouse, it is ungainly and huge, an easy target for planes. NOT recommended for urban warfare.
All you need to do is state how many you need and they will be delivered.

The tanks are excellent weapons, but as noted, not suited for urban warfare as are the Ferrets. A mix of both weapons would probably be a good idea.

Guadalopue was turned into an "International Commerical Center" since the Revertromance governemtn has taken over they have an 7 year plan to turn this island in an Commerical Hub for use of ALL S.H.I.T members.

This plan begins with the creation for and International Airport and 7 smaller airfields thoughout the Island. It would finish up with the creation of over 5 Sea Ports easily assicible by either the Alantic or Carribean.

The Airport would be finished within 2 years but the rest of the project (Sea Ports) would take quite some time since the shallow bays could be dug out to service large craft. And than theres the matter of constucting the Ports themselves AS WELL as the storage "city" for the hopefully large amount of goods going in and out per day.

Constuction begins Next year after the plans are drawn up (Tomorrow) and will take 7 NS years to complete but is sure to benefiet ALL nations in the S.H.I.T or simply ANYONE who passes though the Carribean.

The cost is estimated to be at an stagering 100 billion dollars (They are pretty much giving this island an facelift) but thanks to Revertromances "strong" economy enough USDs could be coughed up to "benefiet the world" as the giant cardboard check says :p

Do you remember my gripe about inactive players in Earth V? Some people walk in, claim land, then either RP for a week or no RP at all, then forget all about Earth V.

I think we should start implementing some kind of "Inactive Rule" whereas someone who doesn't RP in Earth V for more than a month should be considered "not existing" in Earth V. Exceptions can be made if the person is in Vacation Mode or for exceptional RL reasons like losing internet access or some serious RL problems like funerals, family problems, etc.


Kormanthor has not RP'ed in Earth V since he initially claimed land. Some other people haven't RP'ed at all like People Leaving. They're taking up land that could be used for more active RP'ers like me, you, Mauiwowee, Vineyard, etc. as well as new potential players.


So I propose that all territories owned by people who haven't RP'ed at all in Earth V since they claimed land should be made neutral.

I like new players. They bring more life into this Earth. But im NOT happy about TGSR sticking a new player in a country I AM INVADING! I don't mean to sound hostile, but i was in the process of invading Yemen when he was suddenly put there. Now i am really confused, because i got 2,000,000 million men in Yemen that i thought i was invading and now there is this new player, who by the way, may casue me a huge load of armies (from noob-huggers like yourself) knocking on my door for invading him!

The crash was very hard, and the king was presumably killed immediately. An emergency helicopter flew him to Buenos Aires Central Medical Clinic, but he was declared dead at the arrival.

The police arrested the driver of the truck. They suspected drunk driving, but he was checked sober. The cause of the accident is still unknown.

A new king will be appointed at noon today, the son of Carl Gustav: Prince Carl Oscar V. We will come back later this afternoon with more information, and hopefully an interview with our new king.

"Welcome back to KNN, we have our reporter Rebecca live on a link from the castle of Buenos Aires right now. Rebecca, can you tell us what's going on right now?"

"Yes, the situation is fairly chaotic right now. Many people are running from office to office, and here are a lot of policemen. Wait! I have the new king Carl Oscar V here! The King, can you tell us and the people of Kopparbergs how you feel right now?"

"First, of course I feel really sorry for my father. He should have been with us many more years, he was only 55 years old. And then I feel a duty to continue where my father ended."

"Okay. What will happen now? You are going to be the new chief of state. Are there going to be any large changes in the way Kopparbergs is ruled? Something that the man on the street can see?"

"I agreed with my father in many issues, but there were also a lot of things we were totally disagreed about. I'm going to have a conference with the government at 3pm. We'll make an announcement after that. Thank you, I have to go now."
