Encrypted Communique' to Kopparbergs

Dear Sirs:

In a joint press conference scheduled for tommorow in Rio at the S.H.I.T. headquarters, we and Dyethylamide will be informing the world that we have annexed Bolivia and Paraguay (we have Bolivia and Dyethylamide has Paraguay). Since these two countries border you in Argentina, we wanted to ensure you that we have no hostile intent towards you, a fellow S.H.I.T. member. Furthermore, I am authorized by Dyethylamide's government and on behalf of my own, to ask that you support our joint annexations of Bolivia and Paraguay, in return for which we will support you in an annexation effort of Uraguay. It seems to us that consolidated control over South America by S.H.I.T. with us, Norleans and Fodmatodol will make the S.H.I.T. countries a force for the world to reckon with. An economically united South America, along with Mauiwowee in Australia and the Pacific give us considerable power and clout, easily equal to anything a european union can accomplish. Please let us know if you are receptive to the idea, we'd love to have you join us at the press conference tommorow and announce your annexation of Uraguay.

OOC:Vineyard, I'm still waiting for losses on the cruise missile strike, your airforce should be non existant now, seeing that the SA2 is only good for high altitude aircraft, and the tommahawk is at low. And Kopparbergs even pulled up a bunch of facts showing that Zagreb and a bunch of other cities were easily in range of tommahawks.

It [The SA-2] is intended for defeat of manned and pilotless air attack weapons at the heights from 100 m to 30 km, which fly with speeds of up to 3000 km/h, at the distances to 58 km.

OOC:The SA2 isn't as effective at low altitude, and I think the tommahawk flies lower than 100m. Plus it's a very old missile, so guidance system isn't that great, it'd have a tough time hitting a cruise missile.

I got exact figures for the distances:

From Zagreb Pleso Airport to a safe distance in the Adratic (sp?) Sea is 109 miles, or 175 kilometers.

Several blue arrows appeared at the Washington - British Columbia border. The arrows began digging deeper northwards, swallowing up several red arrows and castle towers.

The blue arrows flattened out in a line beginning at Salmon Arm, and extended northwest towards Ocean Falls and the Pacific Ocean.

"Our forces continue to hold in southeast British Columbia, preventing any major gains by SPTS forces. Our fortifications have served us quite well, as without them, SPTS would have drove us back towards Idaho.

With the victory in Washington, and the elimination of the SPTS Washington army and 20% of SPTS's British Columbia army, our forces quickly capitalized on the victory. They charged in another Blitzkrieg attack aganist southern British Columbia, capturing Vancouver and Vancouver Island.

The red SPTS border abruptly turned white, and several irregular red shapes sprang up across northern British Columbia.

"Sharina forces have captured nearly half of British Columbia. As our forces establish a encirclement of the SPTS siege of our southeastern fortifications, it added fuel to the fire across the remaining SPTS nation.

The annexation of Alaska brings the Idaho War to a close, as hundreds of terrorists and gurriella bands have been captured and brought to justice. The rogue government of SPTS is no more, and Sharina is ushering Western North America into a golden age of development and stability.

Officical comment from the palace has not been issued as of this newscast, but we can only speculate that an invasion of Papua New Guinea is underway. Currently the country is unorganized and in a state of disarray being ruled by local tribes without a unifying government. Analysts are concerned that Beltina, Warta Endor and Yevon of Spira, rulers of north and south Indonesia and Malaysia may react unfavorably to this action on Mauiwowee's part. That may explain the "suprise" attack method apparently being used. As more information is received we will of course update this story. Again, repeating though, it appears that Mauiwowee has launched an invasion of Papua New Guinea.

We have recieved information that military campaigns are going on in our neighborhood here in South America. We have been promised that no hostile situations with Kopparbergs should take place. We have friendly relations with both Texarkania and Dyethylamide, and we do not feel threatened. Allthough, our military bases has been set to Defcon 3 (previously Defcon 4) due to the ongoing actions.

Kopparbergs can easily take control over the neighbor Paraguay, but we do not have any plans in that direction. Allthough we do not have any interest in Paraguay, we will not sit by and watch if any military actions will be taken against Paraguay. We want to keep Paraguay free.

OOC: I don’t want to invade Paraguay, I rather want to have a new neighbor there. Therefore I want to keep Paraguay free from us other nations in South America. It’s fun with neighbors!

After a few hundred flack cannons took out a good precentage of the millses the missles slamed into the buildings. No military casuilties occured, but the local airport susatined some dammage. His High Lord is going to draw hevially on the coalition funds to pay for all these new recruits. In other news The Hervatska Afircain Army and their new Zimbabwian recruits are marching on Mozambique. The conquest of this poor country is expected to be quick, as they lack an army.

We have recieved information that military campaigns are going on in our neighborhood here in South America. We have been promised that no hostile situations with Kopparbergs should take place. We have friendly relations with both Texarkania and Dyethylamide, and we do not feel threatened. Allthough, our military bases has been set to Defcon 3 (previously Defcon 4) due to the ongoing actions.

Kopparbergs can easily take control over the neighbor Paraguay, but we do not have any plans in that direction. Allthough we do not have any interest in Paraguay, we will not sit by and watch if any military actions will be taken against Paraguay. We want to keep Paraguay free.

OOC: I don’t want to invade Paraguay, I rather want to have a new neighbor there. Therefore I want to keep Paraguay free from us other nations in South America. It’s fun with neighbors!

Kopparberg, if you wish to jointly occupy Paraguay with us until some one claims them, we'll not object. Likewise, JeetKuneDo has issued a similar statement and mobilized a large force of troops in Hong Kong, apparently with the idea of joining in on the side of Warta Endor should hostilities errupt. Hostilities that we now have official word were never intended, but merely the result of speculation by us and other media outlets. We, at SidTV stand by our earlier story, but note that we did report that we had no official word as to what was taking place and that we reported that it "appeared" an invasion was planned.

Ztw News------- It is reported that within the last two weeks two major military projects have been completed. The first is the completion of the 800,000 SU-16 .223 assult rifles. Every Ztw soldier is now equiped with this new standard issue rifle and every new recruit will be issued the same gun upon the completion of there training.

the second project was the production of Ztw's brand new C-130's which has aslo been completed. The planes will be used to transport military materials from place to plce within the country and it's allies. Several of them will soon be used to transport the 300,000 Ztw troops that were dedicated to vineyard severl months ago, but have not yet left my damn boarders. :mad:

lol, i posted my losses! As to the alunching missles at my planes from 200 miles away, that if freggin' impossible... I am no longer using the obsolete F-16C's any more, my airforce consists primarialy of Typhoon Eurofighter ZH588s and F-25 "Hawk" Fighters. As to your airforce attacking my troops, i already said the tanks have AA capabilities, and I also have AA guns near them too. Also, don't forget my fighters that are nearby(It sounds like your planes are equipped only with ground attack weapons, so they should be no real problem for my fighters!).

Also, i would like to know what in the hell is a AC5?
I love napolm, as you can tell. I spcificially said thet my bombs were landing in untouched mountain ranges, and that my troops are advancing to liberate the previously scourched mountains from earlier attacks. Don't forget "The Mule" strafers attacking your ground troop concentrations!

I need exact specs on your damned tanks so I can post accurate losses! My F/A25 is far supperior to your F25. Your F25 is actualy an F/A22, which is what mine is replacing, so I still take you just as easily. I'll get a link up with specs in a bit. The AC5 is a C5 Galaxy converted to a gunship role. It's got 2 105mm howitzers, 4 GAU12 25mm gattling cannons, 6 M163 Vulcans, among other things.

OOC:No, I went to the site with the F25 specs, and it said "F/A22" in parenthesis, and it looks exactly the same. I can fit all of the stuff on mountains by simply digging foxholes for them, and sticking some of them behind the mountains (the SA10 has a 140km range). It really doesn't need to be that accurate with the amount of lead it's putting down, the idea is to cover a large area. The Mules would be blown away by those 200 mile range missiles, most likely, and your fighters would have to go through the AMRAAMs. Remember, I have more fighters, and better fighters, so you can't honestly expect to come out on top. You didn't even specify how many thing'a your using, you just said "Mule planes roared overhead, strafing the enemy Doomingsland troops. Can I have better statistics on those missiles? How big are they? A missile can't track both heat and radar signature, it wouldn't be able to fit all of the detection equiptment, and detecting a "laser signature" is impossible. A mach 2 missile isn't gonna do very well against my planes, just to let you know in advance. Now, just with the sheer amount of crap I threw at you, you won't have alot of troops left, or you could just ask TG6R.

We do have no airforce as a matter of fact.

The tank personel were to be included in the thrity million number, but I worded it wrong (24 M soldiers and 6 M tank & artillery personel). And we do have a large number of logistics personel as the government is the largest employer in our country. (And yes, we are aware that our economy will be harmed if this war continues over time)

We do have any extremely large surplus this year, as we are a lazy nation that bearly spends any money on purchases from storefront.

OOC: I'm new to army RPing. Since the start of my nation in Feburary I've just done naval RPs. Thanks for your help (I'm not kidding).

Seeing as my tank size is unreal, I've decided to "scrap" (or you could pretend it never happened) 700,000 tanks, which would leave me with 300,000 tanks. My budget is 13 Trillion (My policy is to combine the Law & Order budget with the Defense budget, so that would leave me with $10 Trillion defense budget). Is that fair now?

One of which was that the logistics officers and supplies were no longer Croatian officers and supplies, but officers and supplies from another (undisclosed) nation. Also, a random donation of 500,000 cases of coke (which was given to the front line troops), 500,000 dollars, and an unknown quantity of Uranium arrived from another nation. These events free the financual burden of the cash strapped nation of Vineyard allowing it to use the money for a few projects Dubbed: "the Silver Bullet Project" and "The Viking Project" Both of these have been discribed as Secret Weapons Projects by Cheif general of the Armies (the face of it anyhow, we have sources that say His Lordship Ryan Vineyard himself commands the armies personally), Chris Phearson. No other information was provided about the projects.

Vineyard, the AC-14 "Mule" is meant for low level, almost tree top, bombardment. If its higher up, it's going down fast (but it does have twin jet engines that Doomingsland should take into acount).

The Technocracy of Sharina is in the process of construction of the Veris-Wall, which is essentially a high-tech Great Wall that will stretch along every border Sharina has throughout its holdings in Sharina Alpha.

Sharina has already conquered these three lands and is in the process of exploring additional magical lands, as well as long term plans for exploration of a mysterious Earth-like planet between Mars and Jupiter (where the Asteroid Belt lies).

The Veris-Wall is a solid concrete and steel wall approximately 75 feet tall and 25 feet wide. It will employ its own anti-ground and anti-air defenses to combat any forces that may attempt to cross over into Sharina's holdings. The Veris-Wall employs 11 distinct defense systems along its entire length.

The wall defenses are comprised of the following:

1. 30 mm COIL anti-aircraft cannons. They will be spaced approximately 150 meters apart throughout the Wall.

2. 20 mm Microwave Laser turrets to heat up incoming bombs and missiles, destroying them, as well as providing a SDI defense aganist nuke missiles. These turrets are spaced approximately 300 meters apart alongside the Wall.

3. Anti-aircraft SAM type of launchers, spaced 600 meters apart alongside the Wall.

4. 200 mm COIL anti-armor cannon turrets spaced approximately 600 meters apart along the Wall.

5. 50 mm anti-vehicle turrets spaced approximately 300 meters apart along the Wall. These turrets are meant to destroy APC's, supply trucks, light tanks, troop trucks, and so forth.

6. 15 mm Machine Gun Emplacements arrayed every 75 meters along the Wall.

7. Four sets of barbed wire running along the top of the Wall, and three sets of barbed wire running along ths front side of the Wall to discourage enemy troops from scaling the wall.

8. A 60 foot deep and 30 foot wide trench in front of the Wall to deter tanks, vehicles, and troops from rushing the Wall. The trench may be filled with water or mud to add to the difficulty of storming the Veris-Wall.

9. Underground railroads to supply ammunition, food, and supplies to the defensive platforms on the Wall.

10. Radar, SQUID, Infrared, Sonar, and assorted sensor platforms will be located several kilometers away from the Wall. These installations will be guarded by approximately 50 batteries of AA defenses per sensor station. These sensor stations will be spaced approximately 50 kilometers from each other along the contour of the Veris-Wall to provide maximum coverage.

11. Massive 2-kilometer wide fortresses will be built approximately 120 kilometers apart alongside the Wall to store supplies, house the Veris-Wall's personnel, and provide additional firepower to repel invasions.

This project is expected to cost over 10 trillion dollars, and will require approximately 15 - 20 years to complete. Sharina will devote approximately 75% of its defense budget each year towards the Veris-Wall Project, as well as pulling additional funds from its civilian budget if necessary to cover the expenses of such a massive project. Once complete, it would make crossing the Sharina border extremely difficult, if not impossible. Invasion forces would suffer massive casaulties in an attempt to overcome the Veris-Wall, much like the Germans avoided fighting the Maignot Line of the French during World War II.

The Sharina Veris-Wall will be a scaled up version of the Maignot Line and employing a high tech version of the Great Wall of China.

The Veris-Wall won't be built, as there are no NS nations existing in Sharina Prime.

Sharina Alpha:

Alaska - Yukon border at the Arctic Sea, all the way down along Sharina's border to the Texas - Mexico border right at the Gulf of Mexico. The Wall will also be built along the Guatemala - Honduras border.


A coastal Veris-Wall is planned with the exact same specifcations as the land based Veris-Wall, with two differences.

First, the trench will be double its width and depth, as well as being filled with sea-water, creating a moat.

Second, Sharina will employ a 12th defense system, which will be gigantic 1000 mm Ship-Buster turrets based off the Colossus Ultra-Artillery batteries. These turrets will employ cannons capable of sinking even superdreadnoughts in several shots due to massive 1 meter wide projectiles. The turrets will be grouped into sets of 4 cannons, and these Ship-Buster Turrets will be spaced approximately 1,200 meters apart along the Coastal Veris-Wall.


When these two Walls are completed, invasion of Sharina will be extremely difficult, if not impossible, over land. In addition, it will become a worse nightmare for sea based invasions than Normady and Omaha Beach during WW II as the fortifications would be much more dense and well supplied. It is expected to boost Sharina's defense by orders of magnitude.

Once these two Veris-Walls are completed, President Rand Veristek is considering building smaller scale Veris-Walls around every major city in Sharina that has in excess of 5 million people, or major factory centers that has high output of material.

The budget for the land and coastal Veris-Walls are extimated to run towards 20 trillion dollars combined. Sharina's military budget is a little over 2.6 trillion dollars annually, and it will set approximately 600 billion aside for military maintainence, while the remaining 2 trillion dollars will be going towards the completion of both of the Veris-Walls.

Currently, the land based Veris-Wall is approximately 51% complete, while the Coastal Veris-Wall is approximately 23% complete. These massive defensive projects will be expected to be completed within a span of 5 to 10 more years, depending on resource allocation and any setbacks in construction.

Seeing as my tank size is unreal, I've decided to "scrap" (or you could pretend it never happened) 700,000 tanks, which would leave me with 300,000 tanks. My budget is 13 Trillion (My policy is to combine the Law & Order budget with the Defense budget, so that would leave me with $10 Trillion defense budget). Is that fair now?

If I were you, I'd lower the tanks down to around 50,000-70,000, and a bunch of them sitting in wharehouses so they could replace tanks that get knocked out, and that still may be a stretch. He is easily able to do so for reasons he stated above. Doomingsland, are you blind? Even with 50,000-70,000 he would still crush you! Face the facts like a man (if you are one)! You specificially stated that you had most of your troops on my border, therefore making your other borders either unmanned or very weak at most! I will tell you what, if you surrender Italy to us now, you can keep Libya and pull back with all of your armed forces(except nukelear weapons). This does not mean that we will halt the offencive to wait for your reply, we will continue to liberate your land. Both sides try to force breakthroughs with massive numbers but everytime it results in a bloody battle. Great Romeo, a Vineyard ally has massed 300000 tanks in Austria. (ps. its pretty mountainous, and I always learned tanks and other heavy equipment are useless in mountains) A large assault on Doomingsland is rumoured to start soon. Now, as I speak at this press conference, Brave Coalition troops are advancing over the Alpine terrain and are pulling out the charred bodies of over One million Doomingsland troops after letting loose 200,000,000 tons of napolm on every inch of land. Only the city of Trieste has been sapred. As some of you may know, trieste is purched on the side of a mounatin, its center being right on the Adriatic Sea coast. This Vital seaport will be the last holdout of a few Doomingsland stragglers, and we expect a hard fight as they only have the sea to flee to. We will attack the top of the Mountain, also known as the suburbs of Trieste, and from there, we will slowly "crumble' away enemy defences. Our troops are expected to preform heavy urban fighting in the upcomming Battle for Trieste. The snows that have come for the first time in centeries will make the battle difficult for us, as we will be fighting from the top of the hill, but we will prevail!
Aslo, i would like to unveil the result of the project "Silver Bullet". This project was designed to make a high speed piloted aircraft (can outrace all known fighters and planes, as it has broken several records!) that would carry three Nukelear bombs each. But there is an unfortunate catch. During the test runs, not one of the test pilots made it out alive, so we have converted it to an suicide plane. This plane is very sleek in appearence and has been painted silver. It resembles a sleek (silver) bullet, except for the windshield. The windshield is bullet-proof and is almoast 3 feet thick. This aircraft, despite its speed, is very manuverable(sp?). 100% of the tests have proven that this thing is not going to miss any target it is presented with ramming. These Units will be pattoned and will be on sale for 25 billion dollars each(OCC:Is that a good price? I want to make profit out of this thing so...). Oh, yes... and you can change the Nuke bombs to 2 hydrogen bombs or one (small) particle bomb. And considering the size of the aircraft, you will have to send a vehicle of your own to pick it up after buying it, as we posses nothing that could carry it. A cargo ship would probably do!

A total of 6 million combat personel (marines, soldiers, Doom Legionaries), 8,000 M10A1 Imperator MBTs, and 14,000 M11 Legionnarie IFVs and ADVs (air defence vehicles) assembled to counter GR forces. In addition to this, a large militia force consisting of 10,000 M1A6 King Abrams, and another 10 million militia soldiers assembled.

All of this was for a massive pre planned attack to crush the invaders.

When the Great Romeo forces launched their offensive, a large formation of 1500 B52H bombers, flying at an altitude of 50,000 feet, all dumped 70,000 pounds of napalm each, igniting the mountains and the advancing forces in a massive fire. 11M934M-A Skyhigh Surface to Air missile: This is a 3.6m long SAM missile, with a range of 150km. The Missiles make use of AAW, Trust Vectoring, and forward engine nozzles at the tip of the missile. The Skyhigh is capable of +80G turns, thanks to the AAW wings allowing the missile to remain structurally stable. Guidance is an independant RADAR/LIDAR/LADAR seeker head, which can fall back onto an IR/Thermal and Optical. The Skyhigh also has a data-uplink to the parent vehicle, allowing for a crossreference in information. This effectively creates a Bi-static Radar, allowing for the easy detection of stealth aircraft out to 200km. The RADAR itself is capable of passive detection during flight, and homing during terminal. Should CHAFFs be launched, the missile will switch between LIDAR/LADAR, and IR. Should FLARES be deployed, the missile will finally resort to Optical to finish the job. The missile makes use of a 50kg warhead, also containing 128 2" ballbearings. Upon Proximty detonation, the missile will explode when within 15ft of the plane. The ballbearings will be traveling at mach 4 at the least, and do considerable damage to the aircraft, including incapacitation of the Pilot. Accuracy is 0.99 against Aircraft, 0.984 against missiles, and 0.999 against helicopters. The top speed of the Skyhigh is Mach 3.6, and top altitude is 67,600ft. Minimum Engagement Altitude is 10.6ft.

"Skysweeper" MIL-5 This is a chemical based laser, similar to the THEL system developed by Israel. The lasers power is 700KW's, meaning it can virtually destroy any missile or aircraft it lays its sights on. The MIL-5 has a range of 120 to 160km in good weather conditions.

The Celtic runs on a QMK-IV QNFR drive. This allows the vehicle extended periods of deployment, and the high-powered radar and systems can run off the QNFR drive. Because of this, you get detection at a range of 250km, and stealth detection at 200km.

The Celtic uses a form of NSI to defeat active stealth.

HAH. If only 20 planes come down after a nuke, then I will stay with the number of planes i have lost. Look at my post above. Your area should be overrun (considering one hell of a lot of napolm was shot at your men. Oh, yes... Logistics? Local econemy for the local area (for you anyhow) ought to be extremely bad, considering you have called 10 million local militia men! And don't foregt that you said you abandoned the mountains, so a counter attack would leave your men:
a) Either crossing the plain in force under the scrutiny of Great Romeo's artillary!
b) Seizing the moment, traveling on the few roads through the area, almoast without a doubt rigged or set up for ambushes.
c) Clamboring over the side of the mountain with Great Romeo's troops shooting at your troops the whole time!

In a recent update the 300,000 troops donated to Vineyard are finaly mobalizing They have officially boarded trains heading north to one of the two main Ztw Air Bases. When they arive in appx. 4 hours they will then board several C-130's and head south and into Lesotho and imeadiatly start an invasion of the tiny country. Now, as far as I know, GR deployed no artillery, and my men could have reatreated easily, I have plenty of tunnels heading in and out, so they could escape under cover. The militia are drawn from all over the country, so the economy can handle it. Now, as for you, your economy should be just about decimated with all of the troops you have to support. I have around 50 million logisitcs personel for the regular soldiers (reservists) and one million for the militia (the militia are going to be used human wave style). I need more specs on your tank, what is the armor made of? What kind of engine does it have? How fast can it go? And how much does it weigh? I've never heard of a "particle bomb", sounds future tech. Secondly, I still need more on your anti-air capable tanks, what propulsion is used for the missile? What's the maximum range on it? What's the maximum cieling? A shell of napalm isn't going to have a very large area effect, that's why it's fired out of canisters, so it should only have an effective kill range of about 20 yards.

Now, GR, after looking at your missile, I realised the stats were way off. The SA10 missile has a range of 150km, and it's about twice as large as your missile, so I'd think that the range and cieling would be much lower.

Oh, yeah, Vineyard, the million men were BEHIND the mountains, not in them, so you'd have to fight them man to man, because I think your artilery would be pretty thoughroughly suppressed by mine.

Nice stats! Except for one thing. You seem to forget or ignore the fact that i have more allies than him and my ally Khrrck alone is better than him! Just add up the Coalition stats (my side of the conflict) and The Axis of Evil stats (Doomingslands side of the conflict) then you will get who is winning.

4 Squadrons of B-2 Spirits cut through the upper atmosphere above Switzerland, like ghosts they weaved through the intricate Swiss air-defense networks, marking each radiating SAM and Radar for later termination, they had bigger fish to fry. On cue the squadrons broke apart, now flying completely on their flight computers the B-2's began to ready their weapons. GPS data fed from the pictures of countless sattelite passes streamed into the tiny computers in the bomb heads.

The first squadron passed silently over Zurich as they made their final course adjustments on the way to the Swiss main Command and Control Center. It was buried under a mountain, but that wasn't anything a low grade nuke couldn't handle. As the squadron passed overhead two cylindrical objects were briefly ejected from the two lead Spirits. The squadron continued onward, leaving a gigantic mushroom cloud in their wake, and ruined mountan. The Swiss armed forces were now de-capitated and leaderless. As I have stated, the 200 mile away missiles are air launched. The war thread is going to be a closed future tech RP with me and Krrck, you aren't invited. I posted tunneling through the Alps on my first post in this thread. If you don't give me exact (OOC) stats for your tanks, I will ignore them and the missiles. The missiles travel at mach 6+, they'd hit the airplanes within a minute, plus the planes would be taking heavy anti-air fire, gunships aren't meant to operate in areas that have heavily defended airspace. As I have said before, your artilery is being hit by my artillery and by airstrikes, so you'd have trouble annihilating the million men sitting BEHIND the mountains. I will ignore your logistics as made up if the nation providing them doesn't post.

The 2,000,000 soldiers surround on all sides the Wirrawayian soldiers, state that they are violating terroritory controlled by Salusa Secundus VII by several international agreements, and ask for their immediate surrender.

RWC rules only state that "declaring war on another member nation" is illegal. I do not intend to do anything but make them get out of Albania. Albania is a soverign country, and Wirraway has to respect that. If they do not withdraw in three hours (fluid NS time), we will be forced to capture them and refer them to the Salusa Secundus VII government (we will not keep them as POWs or anything like that).

It's rather mortifiying, but ZTW, Salusa Secundus VII, and Vineyard appeared to have forgot who is supposed to be attacking when and who. It's a big mess, and it was supposed to have been posted right after Great Romeo made his war post, but now time is frozen to allow these people to catch-up.

The Wirrawayan Marines knew when it was pointless to put up a fight, and now was one of these times, outnumber by almost 1 and half million it would be suicide to resist. They quickly and efficiciently made their back to the fleet and re-boarded the waiting transports. The Assault group pulled back into the Mediterreanan and on the way back to the Concordiat stopped over and secured Corsica for Wirraway. In Switzerland muc hslower progress was being made as the Swiss army re-grouped and fell back upon its prepared defensive postions.

My point. Just think about it. If i nape all of the mountain sides that are facing towards me, then it would be layer after layer of isolated troops of yours. Also, nape tends to make fire so i think almoast everything on the surrounding mountains would burn anyhow. Check Mate. Just how many artillary and aricraft are you using? You can just about kiss your aircraft goodbye, because there are more anti air missles than planes you have. Also, i find that nape does much to quell any art(illary) attacks. And here is my answer:

SWITZERLAND HAS FALLEN; GIBRALTOR BESEIGED

We have just received word that the government of Switzerland, with almost 2/3 of thier country overrun have capitulated to Concordiat in an unconditional surrender. All over the alps, units are laying down their weapons and being processed into POW camps. Already settlers are being readied for immediate colonization of Switzerland. Dissident elements,as always, are being shipped to the Asian territories to help in their colonization.

Although Switzerland has been secured, unusually large numbers of Army units have been moging through mountain passes from France towards the East of Switzerland and the border of Vineyard. Some have estimated that over 4 million troops have already passed through the passes with even more on the way. Unusually high levels of aerial activity have been observed along the Vineyardian border as well, with aircraft taking off almost every 15 minutes at the most forward bases.

It has also been reported to us that over 1.5 million Asian troops are in the process of being transported into Europe for an unknown reason. It is speculated that the High Command is preparing for its largest invasion to date.

Things have quieted down on the spanish border, with most units being diverted to Switzerland, however it is reported the Wirrawayan units based in Corsica have begun to bombard and are in the process of taking over the highly strategic rock of Gibraltor.

We will keep you updated as the situation progresses.

It's really complicated and I've never had this happen before, so I'll just recongize it as happening three days after Italy's invasion by Great Romeo (which offically did not happen yet either!).

I must honestly state my OOC opinion of the Doomingsland - Vineyard war.

I believe that this war will never be resolved as long as Doomingsland and Vineyard are afraid to "lose" their country. Both nations / players don't want to lose, because they want to remain a viable power in Earth V. They simply don't want a "Game Over".

I feel that things would be better if the war was completely disregarded. Vineyard tried to take Albania, hence the war. Now that Albania is under the control of Salusa Secundus II so the war is a moot point.

I propose two solutions.

Solution 1:

Doomingsland withdraws back to Italy, and Vineyard withdraws back to his nation. Losses and such are not counted, and "IC" all this war stuff did not happen.

That way, there won't be any more attempts at "one-up-manship" between the two of them, and we will not have to deal with 10 or 20 more pages of Vineyard and Doomingsland arguing.

Solution 2:

A coalition of nations steps in, creating a "Neutral Zone" or "No Fly Zone" type of area between Doomingsland and Vineyard, and Vineyard + Albania (Salusa Secondus II).

This would force the war to stop, and contain both nations forces, leading to Solution 1 stated above.

Today The tiny country of Lesotho was put under a full scale attack by ground troops flown in by the massive C-130's belonging to the Ztw Air Force. Casulties were extremly low on the Ztw line. Only one soldier was sent to the medics for a band-aid . :confused: not quite sure how that happend. anyway the Ztw line has moved across approx. half the country and is approching the capitol city of Maseru. I totally agree. Something has to be done. Anyway, the entire Europe Battle theatre is crap with nations who use millions of troops in area's that are very small. (trust me, I've been in most nations which are in the battlezone, hey I even live in one!) Something/ someone has to intervene.

I agree. I am tired of tyoping pages of these huge paragraophs. I support Every clause of that treaty expept the one that contains our forces. Instead of just making our forces stay put, why not just make a Demilitirized zone with a coalition of nutural countries patroling the shared border. I mean, hey. I don't want a stupid treaty like this one stop me from comming to the aid of an ally or making a pre-emp. strike! Hell, if relations are repaired and we become allies(by some queer stroke of fortune) then and only then should the treaty be abandoned. The Northern Mariana Islands invasion force consists of 3 carrier groups and their support ships and 175,000 marines and Black Beret Army Special Forces. The Marshal Islands invasion force is basically identical to the Northern Mariana Islands force. The Tonga Island force consists of 1 carrier group and support ships as well as 150,000 troops, primarily Black Berets and regular army. Chistmas Island and Nauru Island forces consist of 1 carrier group each and 75,000 troops. The Clipperton Island force consists of 1 carrier group and 1,000 Army Engineers and 3 science vessels. It is this last group that leads to the surprise announcement by the palace regarding these actions.
For those of you unfamiliar with Clipperton Island, it is completely uninhabited and consists basically of a ring of land around a stagnant fresh water pool. The bulk of the land is barely 10 feet above sea level and it is inhabited by several thousand sea birds of varying species and is a home for millions of various crab species. The palace has declared the site to be a nature preserve and intends to use the army engineers to built a science and research station there and will maintain a permanent presence with a science vessel or two. Other than scientists engaged in legitimate research, the palace informs us that no one will be permitted to land on or interfere with the natural habitat of the island.

In other news today, Mauiwowee's ally, Warta Endor, issued a statement of support for Mauiwowee's efforts to secure the South Pacific and offered to aid in the effort if need be. The Palace has reacted by issuing a statment of gratitude for the support and an offer to permit Warta Endor to build a naval base in the Northern Mariana Islands once they have been secured should Warta Endor wish to engage in that endeavor. I agree. I am tired of tyoping pages of these huge paragraophs. I support Every clause of that treaty expept the one that contains our forces. Vineyard and Doomingsland have signed a treaty. This will involve a Demiliterized zone between the two countries with a neutal nation or several neutral nations patrolling the border. According to analysts Warta Endor will not participate in the force as it is not neutral enough to be a neutral party.

Warta Endor accepts Mauiwowee's proposal of a navy base on the Northern Marianas. A small navy fleet will be sent to the area to help Mauiwowee and occupy the base.

We decided as St. Croix was the largest and most southernmost of the Virgin Islands, decisive action to take and control it would go a long way towards weakening resistance in the other islands as well as give us a strategic base of operations in the islands themselves. As it stands now, we're doing some bombing runs and the battleships are pounding the shore to soften up any defenses before the troops go in en masse. It appears there will be some resistance, but nothing our boys can't handle."

In our top story tonight, we bring you news of the first major battle in the "War for the Islands" as Mauiwowee's military campaign to control the Pacific has popularly become known. As we reported to you on Wednesday, Mauiwowee had sent a fleet of 3 carriers and their escorts to the Northern Mariana Islands and thanked our S.P.A.M. ally, Warta Endor, for their support in the campaign by offering a naval base in the Northern Marianas. Warta Endor responded to King 'Lude's Expression of gratitude by diverting a small naval contingent towards the Islands to assist in their conquest and occupation. It was this contingent of ships from Warta Endor that made sure the battle was complete success.

As you can see from the map, as the Mauiwowee forces approached the islands they broke into two groups, the smaller group composed of one carrier and her support ships headed on north towards Anatahan. The 2nd group of two carriers and her support ships headed towards Saipan and Tinian. As they approached they received a communication from Warta Endor's naval force that a group of ships, apparently carrying escaping insurgents from Papua New Guinea, was headed towards Saipan. Mauiwowee's fleet diverted their course slightly and trapped the ships between themselves and Warta Endor's fleet. A fierce navy battle errupted, but when all was said and done, the rebel fleet was completely destroyed. 13 Mauiwoweean sailor are reported as injured as are 12 of Warta Endor's men. Some 73 rebel sailors were picked up from the sea and turned over to Warta Endor as Prisoners of War since they were escaping from Papua New Guinea. However, from all appearances, it seems they intended to establish a base in the Northern Mariana Islands and could have given Mauiwowee trouble there had they not been intercepted. Most particularly, one of the rebel ships, sunk by a Mauiwoweean submarine, appears to have been loaded to the gills with weapons. Reports from the battle indicate that the ship broke apart as she sank and a large contingent of Anti-ship and Anti-aircraft batteries as well as a dozen or more tanks were seen spilling out of her as she sank. ooc. No problem, I RP the navy battle from my side a little bit more. The fleet contains 1 small carrier with 30 F22, 15 JSF, 5 Orions (scout/anti sub planes), 2 Battleships, 7 Destroyers, 10 Frigates and 15 Diesel sub scouting ahead of the fleet.

On the Diesel sub 234, about 200 km west of Saipan

"Sir, we're picking up a small fleet of enemy ships, probaly rebels from Papua New Guinea."
"OK, send a message to 3rd fleet, Mauiwowee's fleet and to Marine HQ."

Enemy fleet spotted containing about 20 transport vessels, 6 frigates and one very old battleship. Requesting permission to engage. Calls for all other subs to gather 100 km west of Saipan.

Sub 234, you got permission to engage the enemy, but wait for the 275 and the 256 who are nearby and will be in striking range in about an hour. Attack the battleship and if destroyed retreat to a safe distance but follow the enemy fleet. All other subs will gather 100 km west of Saipan.

An hour later the 234, 256 and the 275 are about to engage the enemy.

A total of 18 torpedo's steaked to the enemy battleship which broke in two. On the WEN Singapore (the carrier) 15 F22 and 15 JSF took to the air equiped with anti-ship missiles. They got the warning to watch out for Mauiwowee's fleet who was aproching the battle zone.

Each of the F22 fired two missiles and a minute later the JSF fired two missiles. The attack was a dissapointment as only 6 transports were sunk. Now it was the turn of the surface vessels of Warta Endor and Mauiwowee.

Fighting in Papua New Guinea has ended. The last rebels have surrenderd after their failed attempt to build a base on Saipan. A investigation has started to find out how ndid they escape. Warta Endor's army of 10 million (support personel not counted) will be demobilized to 5.5 million men. Reserves and Draftees will return to civillian life in 2 NS months. Today the 1000 lightly armed brigade will depart to Zagreb to travel further to the DMZ. We also propose a DMZ. (see the map) If both parties accept we will send 5 more Breakthrough Brigades. (each 2500 men)

Military anilists have predicted that the tanks are bound for Zimbabwe to argument the 300,000 troops there (not counting 50,000 Zimbabwian native troops). Also in the news, traffic leading into and out of the country of Mozambique to Zimbabwe has been halted. Analists also mention that a takeover of this politically weak country would result in the opening of 11 large ports spilling out into the channel of Mozambique. This would give the nation of Vineyard Enormous trading capibilities and huge naval production capibilities. His highness declined comment.

As we understand it here at SidTV the plan is to conquer these islands with the hopes that the others will surrender once their primary staging areas for resistance have been overrun. We'll let you know how that works out. As it is, no battles have occurred yet as the Mauiwowee fleet has only just arrived and begun carrying out reconosaise flights.

At Christmas Island, Tonga and Nauru, the Mauiwoweean fleet has basically surrounded the islands, but has not yet launched any major offesensive. Rather, they are broadcasting on all civilian radio channels the following message, and we quote:

"To the people of ____________ Please understand that your island is surrounded by military ships from the Empire of Mauiwowee. We have come here in an effort to establish stability in this region. If you will submit yourself to the requirements of governance by Mauiwowee, we will ensure that you are also granted the freedom to live, worship, and self-govern as all people in the the states of Mauiwowee are given. Mauiwowee is country that promises freedom of the press, speech and relgion to all its subjects. A reporter sat on top of an M10A2 tank, the camera rolling as forces began to bombard the city,

"I'm Rob Jenkins, and you're watching INN, Doomingsland's most trusted news network. As you know, at 3:00 AM this morning, Imperial Forces surged across the Tunisian border in a blitzkrieg fasion, taking the defenders completely by surprise. Casualty figures are in the dozens on the Doomingslandian side, but estimated to be in the thousands for the Tunisian Army.

I'm here outside of Tunis, the capital of Tunisia, riding along side the 3rd Mechanized Division. Here with me is Captain Knaeus Brutus. Captain, can you please explain how we were able to penetrate so far so quickly?"

A man wearing VEPR S2 situational awareness combat system replied,

Personel carriers surged forward in an effort to close with the artillery, and caught several enemy soldiers trying to run, abandoning their mortar positions. These were cut down by machinegun and cannon fire from the Legionarrie IFVs. Cameras watched as the soldiers were torn in half, their guts spilling on the hard cement ground, and leaking into the cracked pavement. Tanks rolled into the city, crushing crude road blocks and the occasional militiaman. Once in a while, a technical would come flying by, and be blown to pieces by fire from the tanks.

Finnaly, the personel carriers arrived at the presidential palace, followed by the infantry, who then stormed the building under the cover of smoke and machinegun fire. Twentyminutes later, a colonel stepped out of the building, holding the head of the former president high in the air...

Initially the Generals thought the river Zambezi and its gigantic lake would be a problem, but apparently the government of Zambia has put all its troops into defending the capitol city of Lusaka. The bridges were secured on the Eastern section of the river, the side where their Capitol lies.(Zambia has a long river guarding its broder in the south and has another tributary of that river branching North, and on the eastern side of that tributary lies the capitol.) Soon after the siexing of the bridges, Vineyard troops have surrounded the Zambian Capitol. For now, the 300,000 regulars (not to mention 50,000 Zimbabwian troops) and 10,000 tanks have dug in to starve the city into submission. The effectiveness of this siege will be clear within the next week or so.

The populace was quickly rounded up and sent to giant, mobile reeducation centers where they would learn just how lost they were under the control of their former president, and why being a good citizen is God's will. The very loyal ones were put in Auxilia units, where they would fight along side regular Imperial soldiers. All of the dissenters were dissappeared by the Secret Police, and were never heard from again.

All of this went on in total secrecy, and the massive, citadel-like reeducation centers that towered over the cities were explained away as ground lighting reflecting off of cloud formations. If they didn't buy that, they'd be told it was a soup kitchen meant to feed the hungry and downtrodden.

Occupied territories will be annexed into Warta Endor and form "Warta Endorean West Africa". Inhabitants will become Warta Endorean citizens and have every rights any Warta Endor citizen has. Still no foreign reporters or obeservers have asked to join this operation. If any of the foreign newsagencies wants to send reporters, post in this thread.

The Defcon level in Algeria is back to four. No war is going on in our neghborhood, and the Algerians are feeling safe. The borders are open as usual (but certainly not to Libya and Tunisia as they are closed at the other side). The border patrols at the Kopparbergs-Doomingsland borders only make sporadic patrolling rounds. It has begun. At 4 this morning over 1.5 million men from the Concordiats Asian Army landed in Morrocco. Backed by heavy naval units and aircraft based in Gibraltor the unending tides of soldiers quickly established a beachhead and began to move inland against fading resistance. The army is still in the process of unloading but it is assumed that the country will be under complete Concordiat control in a week.
