A large amphibious force was being prepared, consisting of two marine divisions and three amphibious fleets. The men were preparing for an invasion of Spain, in coordination with Wirrawayen forces, and to grab hold of more land so the CAD would control access to the Medditerrainian.

It has begun. At 4 this morning over 1.5 million men from the Concordiats Asian Army landed in Morrocco. Backed by heavy naval units and aircraft based in Gibraltor the unending tides of soldiers quickly established a beachhead and began to move inland against fading resistance. The army is still in the process of unloading but it is assumed that the country will be under complete Concordiat control in a week.

Our top story this Monday evening is the surrender of Tonga and Nauru in the "War for the Islands." As we reported to you this weekend, Mauiwowee had broadcast an ultimatum to these two islands as well as to Christmas Island demanding that they surrender to Mauiwoweean rule or face invasion by an overwhelming force. Late last night, Tonga and Nauru agreed in principal to Mauwiwowee's demands and is requesting a conference to establish their rights as states of the Kingdom. Christmas Island, however, has not replied and at this time is surrounded and cut off from the outside world by Mauiwowee's navy which has established a formal and formidable blockade around the island, presumably in preparation for invasion, but also establishing what amounts to a naval siege of the island.

In the Northern Mariana Islands and Marshal Islands, Intensive bombing of the capitals is underway along with consistent firing of battleship and destroyer big guns in an effort to either force surrender or enable decisive invasions by Mauiwoweean troops.

At Clipperton Island, the science outpost is reportedly 1/4 complete and all ships except the engineer's ship, 2 science vessels, 2 battleships, and possibly a sub have set sail for the Marshall Islands to join in that conflict.

Morocco Falls;Gibraltor reinforced;Invasion of England at hand

The invasion of Spain by our glorious ally, Doomingsland has begun. A limited number of Wirrawayan forces have crossed the border but their destination is Portugal. Spain shall be left for Doomingsland while Wirraway will still own a peice of the Iberian Peninsula.

The government of Morocco, facinf certain defeat has sued for peace as the Wirrawayan 1st Asian army began closing on the capital. Casualties have been heavier than expected but still within the highest estimates. The government of Morocco is being allowed to stay in power, albeit, as a protectorate of the Concordiat. The 1st Asian army will stay in Africa to begin re-building the war damages and preparing the way for settlers. With the capture of Morocco Wirraway now has complete control over access to the Mediterranean Sea, a long coveted postion.

There have been whispers of possible tarriffs for ships entering and leaving the Med, but at this point they are just rumours.

Most of the troops massed on the Spanish border have been moved again, this time to the Northern French coast where an invasion fleet is being prepared for a the long-anticipated attack on England, one of the last free states in Europe. Over 1 million Marines have been training for 1 and 1/2 years. It is hoped that the threat of an invasion will cause the British to surrender on become a protectorate without at major battle.

So far, half of Spain had fallen under imperial control, and pockets of resistance were being suppresed by air strikes and artillery. The casualties on the Doomingsland side had been high, 7,301 dead, another 10,000 wounded, but reinforcements were now pouring in, and there were now of 100,000 men in Spain.

Two divisions, 40,000 men, began marching on Madrid, in an effort to starve out to defenders, but wouldn't hesitate to level the whole city.

If the person is deleted due to inactivity, or if he refuses to answer TG's and refuses to RP over a clam, well then it may be fair to overrun his claim (like Sharina did with Sir Peter the Sage). But no way in this case, Jonothana is an active roleplayer in NS.

Everybody who has invaded a country has sent me a Telegram with the updates. Wirraway is the only one who did not. I will look into his claims this week and most likely recognize them.

Good evening people of Australia. This is Asus Norton, your Live at 5 correspondent reporting for SidTV, your channel for news, when and where it happens.

In our top story tonight, SidTV has learned that Mauiwowee has sent a request to Warta Endor for assistance in the conquest of the Northern Mariana Islands. Apparently the request was prompted by the attack on a Mauiwoweean hospital ship by two submarines from the Northern Mariana Islands or sympathizers to their cause. Early this morning, Mauiwoweean vessels spotted on sonar to subs that bore sonar signatures of WW II vintage German subs. Shortly after that, the hospital ship, Bio-Hazard was struck by a torpedo and unconfirmed reports indicate a 2nd torpedo was fired, but missed the ship. Damage to the Bio-Hazard was serious, but the ship was not sunk. Naval Command HQ has stated that 23 crewman were injured in the attack, but no one was killed. The Bio-Hazard has been recalled from the area, however, as a result of the attack and subsequent damage. Naval Command HQ and the Palace have issued statements condemning the attacks upon a hospital ship and claiming that such a cowardly attack is proof of the need for Mauiwowee to take control of these islands for the safety of all people in the area.

In other news tonight, the stand off at Christmas Island continues. The island, as we reported yesterday, is basically under siege. No shots have been fired on either side, but nothing and no one is being allowed in or out of the island. It is doubtful that the island can hold out against a prolonged seige for more than a few weeks.

In the Marshal Islands, bombing and shelling is continuing, however, it is believed a major land invasion force will land before long. Naval Command HQ, however, will not divulge any details of the Marshall Islands operation at this time due to security concerns.

Finally, in our war news tonight, representatives of Tonga and Nauru are en-route to the palace to negotiate the final terms of their surrender and acceptance as states in the Royal Empire of Mauiwowee with King 'Lude II. Their islands are basically under siege as well, however, passenger ships, planes are being permitted to leave and enter, subject to searches by Mauiwoweean forces.

We have to plans to shut the strait off, it is merely for defence purposes. The worst that is likely to happen is the vessels stop the ships and search them, but it is more likely they will merely record numbers, causing minimum disruption.

But it's not one. (The aircraft it is based on: The Henschel Hs 132 (Henschel Hs 132 http://www.warbirdsresourcegroup.org/LRG/hs132.html))

I provided him the research as he always bugs me to, and from what I know it travels a little above Mach 3.7, using a alloy for the airframe and liquid-rocket fuel for the engine power. The pilot wears an enchanced G-force protection suit, and lies on his stomach to wart off even more G-forces.

The three Nuclear warheads is Uber-Teching by Vineyard. It could carry one large gravity nuclear bomb if he wanted it to, though.

To reach a speed of mach 6, you would need a SCRAMjet engine, but manned SCRAMjets are usualy counted as future tech. Even at mach six, the pilot would quickly black out.

OOC: Ah, i see that you have been talking about my Silver bullet. Here I am to clairfy some things up! The launching capibilites are similar to those on a british style aircraft carrier launching system, it is launched from within an (unnamed) mountain complex and is literally shot out by an aircraft carrier style "catapult". This gives it tremedous speed in an short period of time, aiding it to gain the speed neceaasry to carry its deadly cargo. Oh and yes, the pilot is an katmakazi! This thing has drop (fuel) tanks, therefore doubling the range this baby has! Also, it is an rather large craft, so it can carry quite a bit. I hope i clarified some things up!

IC:---Zagreb news--- INVASION! 2,000 beserker troops parachuted into South East Russia today, quickly taking the city of Irkutsk and the surrounding country side. 150,000 troops have been herded onto transport planes and are heading the South East Russia to reinforce the streached beserkers. the cloud of F-16s flew over to JeetKunedoian territory and landed their aircraft. Instead of refueling their planes, they simply climbed out of the cockpit and borded civilian Airplanes on their way home. The 1,000 f-16s are now in the possesion of vineyards ally, JeetKunedo.

Vineyard, I hope you realize how easy the "silver bullet" is to shoot down. I mean it has no stealth capabilities, it has a gigiantic IR signature and it has to fly high at that speed so it can't lose its self in the ground clutter. The radar on my AEGIS cruisers and Patriot Missile batteries are made to intercept and destroy cruise missiles which are much smaller and travelling at much higher speeds than your clunky airplane (Mach 5). I would destroy your plane before it even got a chance to detonate its weapon.

In our top story tonight, it appears that the Mauiwoweean sub Bhang II, one of the flagship Bud Class submarines manufactured by W.M.D. Inc. right here in Sidney has sunk one of the subs manned by the insurgents in the Northern Mariana Islands today. However, not until the sub had fired on and damaged yet another Mauiwoweean vessel in the area. Apparently, according to reports, the Destroyer Kanga was hit by two torpedeos from the insurgent's sub prior to that sub being destroyed by the Bhang II. The Kanga is said to have suffered extensive damage and 14 crewman are reported as dead or missing and another 23 are reported wounded. In a retaliatory move, further airstrikes and shelling of Saipan were ordered and are being carried out. Additonally, Warta Endor has begun high altitude bombing raids over the island of Pagan and that island is reportedly close to surrender.

In other news from the War for the Islands, the stand off over Christmas Island continues. The palace announced today that it was, for the time being, going to see if they could just "starve the people out." Also, representatives from Tonga and Nauru arrived in Sidney today to meet with King 'Lude and General Ripper on surrender terms. Reportedly talks are going well with the Tongans in particular being very receptive to the idea of full statehood in our constitutional monarchy.

In the Marshall Islands, Intense bombing runs are being carried out on a 24/7 basis on the major islands and it is rumored that ground forces will attempt a landing somewhere in the next 48 hours or so. However, the palace refuses to confirm or deny any reports from the Marshall Islands citing continuing security concerns over the operations there. ---Zagreb News--- 500,000 troops have occupied Southern Iraq earlier today. The troops Of JewPowerLand gave up due to their masters orders, yet some muslim resistance is being experienced. Our troops are expected to "clear out' this resistance shortly, due to superior training and overwhelming numbers. Also, 50,000 troops are driving inot Kuait, and have surrounded their capitol (also called Kuwait). The offencive against their small security force is expected to begin shortly.

South East Russia has effectively been subdued after the capture of major cities. The provinces manufacturing capibilities are extremely great, and are a great asset to the nation of Vineyard. No resistance is being felt as troops march into more and more (smaller) cities every day. Also, hundreds of Nuclear weapons are being secured.

Jamica has been easily subdued, all military stationed there having put down their weapons and heading home. No resistance has been encountered.

As Europe became consumed into hotly contested land grabs and devastating conflicts Wirraway built up its overstretched and depleted Armies up to and past their previous strengths. The Airforce and Navy began to re-equip and ready themselves for the next push, where ever it should come.

But now the time for waiting was over, war had once again come to Asia. Armies mustered and air units moved forward, however, the target this time was not SouthEast Asia, it was China. In light of Vineyard’s coming to own Southeastern Russia it was decided that in light of his expansionist tendencies it was time to act, and act the Concordiat did. Over 1.5 million troops began to be transported towards Arenumberg held China, victory would be swift and sure.

Really? I never saw that movie... it's a James Bond film, right? I based my laser on projects that are currently being funded by several real-world governments. There is a high-powered laser in existance that is very nearly capable of causing a missile to detonate. If it weren't so under-funded, the US and other nations would have had space-based laser weapons in the late nineties. However, I found this link while randomly browsing, and I cannot for the life of me remember the site. It is probably on google, I will search after this post...

Suppose the laser becomes unusable after more than thirty minutes of use and requires mantaince/replacement that takes up to week? And a UV beam could easily be defended against with a simple (BALETED).

Continuing our report on the War of the Islands, Mauiwowee forces invaded Saipan today in the Northern Mariana Islands. According to reports some 30,000 to 40,000 troops landed on the beaches and heavy fighting for control of the island continues at this time. We are awaiting an official announcement from the Palace on this invasion and will update this report with it as soon as it is available to us. However, In the Marshall Islands today The islands of Knox, Jaluit, Majuro and Arno were all 4 simultaneously invaded by Mauiwowee forces. According to the Palace, 30,000 men were landed on Knox, Jaluit and Arno and 40,000 landed on the island of Majuro. Updated details on the invasionary forces are steadily being received. So far, according to the Palace press release, the island of Knox has been secured by the Mauiwoweean forces and casualties were light. Exact numbers, however, were unavailable. Fighting continues, however, on the other islands with native forces being rather organized and in possession of a large number of Rocket Propelled Grenade Launchers and Shoulder Fired "Stinger" missiles. Mauiwoweean forces are apparantly also subject to heavy Mortar fire as they attempt to secure the islands, particularly around the capital in Majuro. According to palace reports, 2,765 Marines are confirmed dead between operations on all four islands and at least 4,500 have been wounded. As more information is made available, we will of course report it.

In other news tonight, two Kangaroos got loose in downtown Sidney early this morning causing major traffic snarls during the rush hour. If so, how could we determine the military strength of such a movement? I think, from what TGSR told me, that there could be an underground resistance. But i think thet in order for one to be successful (looking back at history) another nation must sponser the revolt with weapons and ammo.

The resistance is expected to be crushed by the sweeping operation called "Da Vacum". Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen. This is Asus Norton your SidTV correspondent.

In a surprise announcement today the Palace revealed that a treaty has been signed to end the hostilities at Christmas Island. Apparently, secret negotiations had been occurring, even prior to the start of the War of the Islands. It is because of these negotiations that no attempt to land forces on the island or undertake bombing runs were made and the island was merely subjected to a full naval blockade and siege. According to King 'Lude II, Foreign Minister Calvin Hobbes met with Christmas Island provisional governor, Sandy Klaus, on the Mauiwowee carrier, Kharass and hammered out the details late yesterday afternoon. The treaty itself was executed this morning after it's terms were ratified by King 'Lude. It is expected the House of Royals will vote on ratification this week at the same time they vote on ratification of the treaties of Nauru and Tonga. All 3 treaties are expected to receive full support in the legislature.

According to the palace, unlike the treaties with Naura and Tonga, Christmas Island will not become a state in our constitutional monarchy, but will become a Duchy subject to royal control with its current leader, Sandy Klaus, being granted the royal title of Duchess of Christmas Island. Mauiwowee will establish a military base on Christmas Island and provide support and protection for the newly established Duchy. The Duchy will be granted a single seat in the House of Peoples and one in the House of Royals. They will be able to propose legislation in both houses, however, they will not be permitted to vote for or against the passage of any legislation, whether in the full house or while serving upon a committee. According to the king, "this treaty grants us a right to control Christmas Island and her people and subjects them to our rule, through the monarchy, while simultaneously exempting them from the requirements of government that our Constitution places on the states, such as the election of a governor, judges, etc. This agreement will allow the people of Christmas Island to be governed in the royal tradition they are historically accustomed too, but still leaves open the door for future negotiations and the possibility of a popular movement that will result in full statehood some day."

Supporters of King 'Lude and the monarchy cheered the agreement and expressed support the Duchess and a promise of aid in organizing the newly constituted Duchy of Mauiwowee. Secret Communique' to the Earth V Nuclear Weapons Committee

We will not provide details above and beyond those contained within this message. However, in a spirit of good faith to our Earth V neighbors, we wish to make the following information available to those who are entitled to such information as nuclear powers. We are therefore providing the following list of our nuclear weapons capabilities. We will not, for security reasons, state with an specificity where any land based missiles are based nor will we provide information on which naval vessels or airbases we have nuclear weapons. However, we will state that the airplanes and naval vessels which have nuclear capabilities are rotated (OOC: Are you familiar with the sign that says "these premises guarded by a man with shotgun 3 nights a week, you guess which nights" - that is the idea). We will also state that a treaty exists by which some ICBM's are located in a country in the Western Hemisphere. We will not state which country or how many. With that:

1) 85 ICBM, land based nuclear missiles (approx. 9,500 mile range) with 15-25 Kiloton warheads;
2) 35 SLBM, with 5 - 10 Kiloton warheads and an approximate 4,250 mile range, rotated between 48 submarines
3) 160 Aircraft carried 25 - 30 Kiloton nuclear bombs (range subject only to aircraft capabilities and inflight refuelings).
4) 40 nuclear tipped, 5 kiloton yield cruise missiles rotated between 50 Aircraft carriers with an effective range of about 1,500 miles.

Note also that our weapon systems are generally "homegrown" and not acquired from other countries. The major exception being our aircraft. We do like stratofortresses.

And I'll add I have more fun when someone comments on how well written a post was or when I feel I wrote well, without regard to whether I "won" or "lost." Hell, one of my favorite threads and RP's was the communist takeover of Euroslavia where I lost a crapload of my navy and thousands of soldiers in a naval battle with Nikoloas the Great. I ended up having to withdraw from the conflict completely and surrender an important political prisoner in order to get my own POW's back. I lost everything I put on the line in the war. However, I enjoyed the hell out of the RP and didn't mind "losing" at all. It was fun to write and it played well in the overall theme of the Thread and, finally, it took more than a single, 2 sentence post to do.

This is not a criticism of anyone here, just a general observation on RP's from my perspective offered as a follow up to the above.

There is a major problem with IP checking some nations on Earth V.

In Vilinus today, there was a slow news day. They president declared this a 'grave emergency'. He appealed to nations and danced around in his boxers.

Something important has come to my attention regarding puppets and such.

I did some research on Wolf America, Green Knights, Compy 386, etc. and discovered several things. I did this research because I'm looking to start more RP's in the next few weeks in Earth V with potential Earth V people, like Wolf America, Kormathor, Yevon of Spira, or people in South America.

First, all these nations (Wolf America, Compy 386, et al.) are in one region. (That aroused my suspicions in the first place)

Second, Green Knights and Compy 386 go inactive for 2 weeks or so at a time, then do issues and such on the same day. (This has happened over the past couple of months)

Third, Green Knights and Compy 386 hasn't posted in RP'ing for well over a month, but in their last RP's it is clear that "USWA" owns them. "USWA" = United States of Wolf America. (I got this info from SEARCH feature in 'My Profile' and typed in each nation's name, then searched for posts by them)

Fourth, USWA also appears to be acquiring more and more puppets of 1 billion+ population. (If this is not cheating, I'm George W. Bush, or Santa Claus!)

Fifth, the region Wolf America is in is called "United States Alliance". The region he is apparently gaining puppets from is "The Temple Exchange". (This can be seen from reading the Temple Exchange region message lists)

I second the notion of establishing an Earth V website. It'd be kickass! I have some suggestions and ideas on what to put it in, and a good layout, as I am a Computer Media major.

Ok, I've done a small bit research too. It seems TG6R, Ztw, NOTRIGGER, and a few other Earth V nations all belong to the same region as well as the same school. Is it not possible, then, that TG6R created Earth V and then invited his friends to Nationstates, or the other way around? From what's been happening in Earth V, all of TG6R and his friends have formed such a strong alliance that their troops are running all through each others' territory at the slightest threat to anyone. When and where was this alliance announced? You say you are unbiased, TG6R, but you will undoubtedly come to the aid of your real life friends if their Earth V nations are threatened.

Or perhaps you operate by manipulating your friends' nations and use them to your own benefit in this RP... This would allow you control over Earth V without violating your rule of one puppet only. This should not be a rule, no puppets should be allowed at all.

If this is what is happening, I strongly urge TG6R to refrain from behaving in such a manner. It is dishonest and will lead to the breaking up of Earth V.

All of my economic and military calculations from now on will be a combination of Tenebricosis and DontPissUsOff. In other words, the GDP and Population of the UFSR will be calculated as such until further notice:

GDP: 60% DontPissUsOff + 100% Tenebricosis
Population: 100% DontPissUsOff + 100% Tenebricosis

I believe these figures fairly represent the economic backlash that would occur if the formation of the UFSR took place. Certain socialist policies limiting free trade that are currently in place in Tenebricosis would be enacted throughout the former DontPissUsOff, causing a drop in GDP. Due to the peaceful nature of the formation of the UFSR, civilion casualities are limited to unlisted fringe protesters.

Nowhere I can find either, but it was inferred when TG6R allowed someone in North America to have a puppet. Look on the main Earth V claims board, there is a nation listed as Puppet. Personally, I think this is a very unfair rule, as it allows a person to claim twice their amount of territory.

I actually do have one secret puppet, but it RPs completly different from me (Hint: Check the Earth V master list).
I started Earth V long before most of these nations existed.
The first nation invited to Earth V that lived in Niskayuna, NY by me was "Jew Power Land". His government collasped recently (AKA: Inactive), so he no longer exists. I was in no way friendly towards him in the long run: He was a Leftist Dictatorship and I was a Rightist Dictatorship, but I still sold him stuff at my storefronts.
Around a month ago, Vineyard (rl) and I (rl) found that we had actually the same ideas for World Domination: Dictatorship. I invited him to NationStates and then Earth V and he accepted.
Notrigger was invited by me to NS later that week.
ZTW, Zahair Malik and a bunch of others were invited by Vineyard shortly after.
Most of us have the same government type, so I created the Dictators International Collective Killers (DICK) alliance around three weeks ago.
Vineyard and JeetKuneDo know Notriggers password, and there is some problems do to this. I'm currently talking to all the parties involved.

One large puppet is the max for Earth V (But they are free to spread puppets to each terroritory they control like how Great Romeo is big enough for two nations and one island, but he was Frigidaqua control that one island while he controls his two countries)

IC --- Zagreb News--- The situiation in Kuwait is stable, after The besieging vineyardian troops overran the weak (and few) defenders protecting kuwaits capitol. As there are no more cities to conquer in Kuwait, Kuwait is secure. Already it is begining to pump out large quantities of oil, which will head towards the Vineyardian Oil Reserve. The citizens of Kuwait are undergoing reeducation and conversion to Christianity. There was one attempt earlier today where suicidials, believed to be from iraq, attempted to blow up an oil pipelinhg, yet drove into quicksand. Shortly after, small school children were seen proding the helpless terriorists to insanity. They were rescued shortly after and were put on leashes and given rabies shots. I have three problems with this post:
1. Muslems are not going to convert to Christianity. Ever. Maybe after 30 years of torture. But it is simply not going to be as easy as re-educating them. Perhaps remove all existing Kuwaiti Muslem leaders and plant your own Sheiks.
2. I think suicidal bombers are from Palestine and the Taliban, have there been any from Iraq? And even if there were, why would Iraqis come to the defense of Kuwaitis? (Unless simply trying to sabotage Vineyard.)
3. There is no quicksand in any desert. Quicksand requires some form of moisture. Quicksand only exists in rainforests, mostly in South America.

---Zagerb News--- The consficated 300 nukes in South east russia are being moved to another location. The nukes are being shipped via the sea, by using giant ice cutting cargo ships. These monstouous ships will pass thruogh the Artic Ocean and then proceed along the coast of Norway to the country of Denmark. There, large military land transports will pick up the nukes and proceed inland, by way of Military highway and enter Croatia. The nukes will find new homes in the Various mountain silos now being built by The Nation of Vineyard. Large amounts of marble are beign mined out to make way for the new silos, and the nation of Vineyard is adding marble to its list of exports.
Also in the news, all beserker units are being called back to their main barracks in croatia to recieve new assignments. A known 800 beserkers will be heading towards Mozembique, and there they will be training a Jorakian version of the beserker unit.
Also, Iraq was declared secure today after troops captured and (accidentially) killed the rebel leader, al Ziquari. The oil industry there is back up and running and the oil is being shipped into the Croatian Reserve. Kuaitian oil is also being sent there.

All of my economic and military calculations from now on will be a combination of Tenebricosis and DontPissUsOff. In other words, the GDP and Population of the UFSR will be calculated as such until further notice:

GDP: 60% DontPissUsOff + 100% Tenebricosis
Population: 100% DontPissUsOff + 100% Tenebricosis

I believe these figures fairly represent the economic backlash that would occur if the formation of the UFSR took place. Certain socialist policies limiting free trade that are currently in place in Tenebricosis would be enacted throughout the former DontPissUsOff, causing a drop in GDP. Due to the peaceful nature of the formation of the UFSR, civilion casualities are limited to unlisted fringe protesters.

I thought that you only count the number of population that's presentated on NationStates. If you invade another country you don't get that country's population, only the land area. Why should this be different when you take over some others land in another way?

It going to be a real mess if we're up to calculate the population from a whole lot of countries that's been overtaken in a way or another.

I understand why you want to count DontPissUsOff's population, but I think it will be unfair (and very messy if we start counting in this way).

What do you others think? I think that we should continue to use the population figures that's presentated in NationStates for each player.

It's hard to tell if they are excited about statehood in Mauiwowee or if they are just happy to see the former Dominion's Dictator go. I guess we'll see over the next few days. In the mean time, Chairperson of S.H.I.T., Mauiwowee's own, Bridgee Bardoe, has expressed her sorrow at the removal of the Dictator, but welcomed the expansion of Mauiwowee's influence in South America and the S.H.I.T. The announcement of the "one puppet rule" is apparantly causing some problems here and there so I'd like it cleared up and made a part of the original post so that new people coming to Earth V know it up front. As I understand it and would suggest it be posted, is as follows:

1. Puppets are allowed so long as the original claim of all territory under the control of a single person via a "main" and puppet nations does not exceed the total amount of territory that could be claimed by 2 large (500 million+) countries (i.e. 4 nations and 2 islands) at a maximum. Furthermore, the populations limits apply to puppets as well as to "main" countries (i.e. you have one country that can claim 2 nations and an island, but your puppet only has 225 million people so its claim is limited to one nation and one island).

2. all puppets must be declared

3. Territory above and beyond the initial claim must be obtained via RP of conquest that is approved by TGSR or acknowledged by the owner of a country which is attacked and beaten in a war for control of the territory (no one sentence - I have conquered X type stuff).

4. Once a country of yours is involved in a conflict, no other country/puppet you control may engage in that conflict but must rather effect a neutral stance, alliance's notwithstanding. (i.e. if TGSR is in a war with Wirraway, Great Romeo can't join in since he is TGSR's puppet).

5. All countries you own are free to develop trade relations and buy and sell goods between each other and otherwise deal economically with each other and anyone else they choose.

In our top story tonight, progress in the War of the Islands made headlines today when the Mauiwowee sub Reefer sank the 2nd of two World War II vintage subs that have been terrorizing the Mauiwoweean fleet off the coast of Saipain in the Northern Mariana islands. According to reports, the sub fired torpedeos at a troop transport vessel and a sonar lock was established by the Reefer as a result and she torpedoed the sub. It is reportedly lost with all hands. Meanwhile, the two torpedoes launced at the troop ship were detonated prior to reaching the ship via the use of decoy floats employed since the first sub attacks on the fleet several weeks ago. Inland on Saipan, the troops continued their house-to-house search for rebels and Mauiwowee Military Chief of Staff, General Jack T. Ripper, reports the battle is going as planned. Official casualty reports from Saipan put the Mauiwoweean losses at 384 dead and 873 wounded. On the island of Tinian Mauiwoweean forces have trapped an estimated force of 5,000 rebels in a central location on the island and are preparing for an all out assualt on the stronghold. On Pagan, where our ally, Warta Endor, has been conducting a series of bombing raids, a radio communication has been intercepted indicating Pagan is willing to surrender should the entire island chain join in the decision.

Meanwhile, in the Marshall Islands, Troops have entered the city of Majuro and secured the capital building. Fighting remains to be done, but it appears the conquest of the Marshall islands is ahead of schedule said General Ripper in today's military briefing. The island of Knox has apparently completely surrendered and Arno and Jalulet are reportedly hanging on only by the "skin of their teeth." General Ripper reports that once these 4 islands are under complete control the remainder of the chain will be offered the chance to surrender or another carrier fleet will begin bombardment and attacks on Maloelap and Ebeye.

In other news, in Rio, it appears that the people of Brazil are estactic about the displacement of their former Dictator. After a hasty vote in the House of Royals here in Sidney today, Brazil was declared a state and in the first act of the newly organized, interim legislature of Brazil, the former dictator's restrictive laws on abortion were repealed as was the official charter of the Church of Dyethylamide. The nation of Zuhair Malik is following suit with its ally Vineyard, as it controls a minor oil porducer, Turkey. Lord Dictator Ryan Vineyard ordered Arenumberg that if he dosen't want hostilities with vineyard and his allies, he shouldn't let Karond Kar deploy his troops there. Mauiwowee has been put on Vineyard sanctions and a proposal for sanctions from all of Vineyards allies if Mauiwowee does not back down. Well, for simplicity's sake, we have assumed that the entire population of a nation is slaughtered when you conquer it. For example, Vineyard invades and conquers all of Karond Kar. Kardon Kar is not added to Vineyard, because we don't feel like adding two numbers.

When Tenebricosis and DontPissUsOff became the UFSR, it was not a military coup. It was a joining of nations like Yugoslavia was. Therefore, the economic and human might of the two nations are combined, rather than secluding the victor.

Why do we have to wait for TG6R? What makes him the leader? He didn't even start this thread, you did, Vineyard. He hasn't even RPed much, yet he controls most of Europe through his own nation, NOTRIGGER and his puppet. If Earth V is to continue ad infinitum, we must act as a democracy rather than as a dictatorship.

I propose we continue with our current activities. If you are all too sheep-minded to think for yourselves, Kopparsberg is offically 2nd in command, according to TG6R. Kopparsberg, it is your duty to fill TG6R's place while he is sick. OR we can follow my suggestion and form an "OOC UN" of sorts where a selected body comprised of the most active and powerful nations in Earth V vote to decide issues such as invasions.

Khaila Ganeth, Ambassador from Karond Kar exits a Gulf Stream and is met by 2 men in Mauiwoweean MP uniforms who escort him to a waiting limousine. The car takes him to a small, seemingly storage shed, at the end of the runway. Once inside the shed however, the MP's push a small, hidden button above the doorway and the floor begins to sink underneath Mr. Ganeth's feet - The shed is a disguise for an elevator platform that takes Mr. Ganeth some 75 feet below ground. It is clear to him that the complex extends for hundreds of more feet, if not miles, below the place he is escorted off. Other than polite niceities such as "please follow us Mr. Ganeth" the MP's haven't said a word. Mr. Ganeth is escorted into a small room, lined with LCD monitors, where a dignified gentleman in a Lt. Colonel's uniform sits, behind a table that would seat no more than 8 in a pinch, under flourescent lights.

"Welcome ambassador Ganeth. I trust your flight was comfortable. Please have a seat, can I offer you a drink? My name is Lt. Colonel Abor Rhidge Hanee. Ah, brillant. Koppersbergs. I sould've known. He is biased against me, so i still think there should be a time freeze until the Honorable TGSR returns. Oh, and TGSR is the leader and this Kar fellow isn't officially reconized, He doesen't exist yet. And a point you have Tene. I DO control this thread.

Kopparbergs, just to stop this shit by VY, I'd ask that as 2nd in command you recognize Karond Kar's claim to North Korea and VY, I'd ask that you quit the "I'm gonna rule the fuckin' world!" Shit. You've got plenty of land and people, why don't you try some peaceful diplomacy with your neighbors and the worldwide community instead of trying to conquer and attack everyone you disagree with? This is a game, not RL. save your hostility for your Home Ec. teacher.

I can see you want to play the game and you actually do have some good ideas and have done a few decent RP posts. But I'm sick and tired of everytime I turn around you're in a disagreement with someone or trying to invade or attack someone. Give it a rest! Kopparsberg is either unwilling or unable to take up TG6R's place as he is meant to. I declare that until such time TG6R is fit to moderate, I shall take his place as a fair and unbiased judge.

My first action is to recognize the nation of Karond Kar and his claim to North Korea.

Kopparsberg, if you do not fufill your obligation to update the maps, I will.

Secondly, there shall be no "time freeze" or halting of the game.

My temporary "rule" will not be biased towards my own in-game nation. I personally will not RP any military action until TG6R has recovered or two days, whichever comes first. If TG6R is permantly disabled (ie has the flu) I will give Kopparsberg his place. If Kopparsberg does not want to become moderator, I will retain the position if the general consensus allows it.
