Secret OOC: My government is generally pro-NATO, pro-RWC, and pro-NWO all at the same time. Sort of like modern-day France! So that means that there would be no way we would risk getting rejected to NATO by doing this. However:

My puppet Great Romeo (Serbia & Romania) RPs as pro-International trade (all the way back in Feburary of 2004 he's been condeming blockades) and pro-Vineyard. If Vineyards and Great Romeo joins in on the party, you have a considerable force....

I doubt IDF does RP's in Earth V. I have yet to see him RP, and I believe the whole Brimstone thing is happening in NS Earth, not Earth V.

So the Suez canal should be open in Earth V anyways. Even if it's closed, Wirraray can easily destroy his blockade, as IDF only has a few NATO allies in Earth V, and I doubt they RP in Earth V.

Basically, Wirraray, Doomingsland, and Vineyard can easily take IDF.

This is Kasina Lusvan reporting for Sharina InterEarth Information Network, or SIEIN.

Our top story tonight is the announcement of the completion of the gigantic Veris Wall Project. The Veris Wall runs the entire length of the Sharina coastline in a high tech version of the Great Wall of China. In addition, it runs the entire length of all of the land borders between Sharina and foreign countries.

Here are several pictures of the Veris Wall."

Several pictures shimmered into view, one after the other on the screen behind Kasina Lusvan. The network transformed the view from Kasina's desk to the picture display, removing any obstruction of view.

The first picture showed a close up of the Veris Wall. Several workers were seen putting the final touches on the three sets of barbed wire running alongside the Veris Wall. The view gradually zoomed backwards, and the workers in blue overalls and yellow helmets appeared miniscule aganist the backdrop of the Wall.

The Wall was revealed to be seperated into two sections, Lower Wall and Upper Wall. The Lower Wall was comprised of sloping curved surfaces to reduce kinetic and bullet destruction potential very much like an armored tank. There were three sets of barbed wire running alongside the wall on the vertical surface to discourage troops or special forces scaling the wall.

The Upper Wall resembled the Lower Wall, but there were two major differences. There were several types of turret towers with domed concrete shielding. The turret towers in the television view revealed massive 1000 mm dual cannons, 20 mm machine gun nests covered by overhangs and small slots along the Wall, and a massive SDI microwave laser battery at the top of the wall under a concrete dome.

The view remained for a few additional seconds before switching over into a new view.

The new view showed the Veris Wall snaking across three hills before fading into the distance. A large Veris Fortress could be seen nestled between two of the three hills. Several antiaircraft batteries were being set up next to the formidable fortress, as a jet was seen flying over the landscape. The fortress appeared intimidating as it had metallic walls and dozens of turret towers.

The view switrched over to an overhead view of the Veris Wall, and a large trench could be seen running alonside the outer Lower Wall, and in some areas it was filled with water or mud. Workers are seen putting up final stretches of barbed wire and several trucks were filled with extra supplies and surplus barbed wire.

The fourth view appeared not as a real time view, but as a diagram.

The Lower Wall, Upper Wall, and the Trench were displayed in a computer generated isometric view. Several symbols and numbers appeared across the diagram, but the most vital ones were shaded in gold lettering.

It revealed that the Trench was 40 feet wide and 100 feet deep, and the edge of the Trench was located 10 feet from the Lower Wall to provide line of sight fo the machine gun nests to fire into the Trench.

The Lower Wall was approximately 120 feet tall, to provide a massive solid barrier aganist any scaling or breaching attempt. The Upper Wall extended another 200 feet upwards to provide excellent coverage for the turrets and nests alongside the Wall.

The view reverted back to Kasina Lusvan.

"As you can see, the Veris Wall is mankind's most formidable barrier aganist invasion and will protect our lands aganist aggression and flooding from the Pacific Ocean. Storms will lose most of their destructive power as flooding of coastakl areas is now eliminated.

This feat is mankind's greatest structure ever built, a feat unparalleled in the multiple Earth's. In over 100,000 parallel Earths / universes that the Sharina Parallel Earth Agency, or SPEA, has already explored and catalogued, no nation or variant nations has accomplished such a feat.

The timing could have not been better, as the world of Sharina Alpha appears to be headed towards an world-wide war.

In related news, Sharina forces have been assembling in Guatemala and Belize for undisclosed operations. Military High Command has issued the following statement.

OOC: Good thing he decided to drop it on me for exchange for something rather unimportant: Temporary Resignation from the RWC. Since I don't even know half the members of the RWC and I do not even know where the forums are anymore, I decided I might as well just leave until everything is calm with NATO-RWC-NWO (EDIT: WTO just embargoed RWC!). I will rejoin eventually, but now I'm just sick of getting embargoed every two seconds for being apart of an alliance I don't even talk to anybody in.

This is Katrina Koric, reporting live from New Orleans, Louisiana, where an historic accord and treaty have been entered into today.

In a meeting in the Rice House in Mettarrie this morning, the nations of Norleans and Sharina signed a treaty which ceded control of a substantial portion of the western half of North America to Sharina. However, the treaty also grants some important concessions to the nation of Norleans. Going down the list, specifically, the treaty provides that:

1. Political control of the states of New Mexico & Colorado, Montana & Wyoming have been ceded to Sharina.

2. The nation of Norleans will be permitted to establish military bases and strongholds in Colorado (and sources inform us that a base is already in construction in Telluride). Likewise, Sharina will be permitted to postition military installments in Nebraska.

3. "Free Passage" and "Free Trade" between the citizens of Norleans and Sharina in the states of Colorado and Nebraska will be permitted with citizens of each nation being afforded an equal right of residency and property ownership in Colorado and Nebraska.

4. The ownership of businesses in Nebraska by Sharianian natives and the ownership of businesses in Colorado by Norleanians, shall be permitted and encouraged by both nations. Further, taxation on such businesses shall be equal and levelized between the two nations.

5. Taxation of the citizens of either nation that reside within the confines of the other nation (i.e. a citizen of Norleans that lives in Colorado or a citizen of Sharina that lives in Nebraska) shall be in accordance with the tax laws of the nation of their citizenry (i.e. the Norleans citizen who resides in Colorado will pay only those taxes to Sharina that he would have paid to Norleans had he lived in Nebraska, and vice-versa).

6. Tariffs on goods which originate in Colorado and are shipped to Norleans shall be reduced by 80% and likewise on goods shipped from Nebraska to Sharina. The key export from Sharina expected to be minerals and precious metals and the key export from Norleans expected to be food, grain and oil due to it's holdings in the Gulf of Mexico and Texas.

The historic nature of this treaty cannot be stressed enough. It basically splits everything west of the Mississippi between Sharina and Norleans and grants citizens of each nation the right to be treated as if they were at home in the states of Colorado and Nebraska. In effect, if not words, establishing a free trade and residency zone in those states.

"The format of your navy appears to be modeled Vineyardian style. Why? How are you able to fuel such a navy? With all of the oil blockades against you, you shouldn't be able to fuel half that number of ships... even with your allys oil, their resorces to fuel cizilians, the econemy and their military would be much greater than to fuel your navy."

OOC: My navy size is insanley large to modern standards... The USA alone has 16 carrier fleets. But i can do this in part because I don't need to pay for any fueling costs. I have 20 mcarrier fleets. the world is being starved of its oil. It is EXTREEMLY impossible to fuel Karund Kars fleet adquetly... espacially because i control 25% of the worlds oil and another 9% from some insignifiacnt nation is being cut off as well. Therefore i believe the worlds oil supply is inedquate to even supply your econemies!

Today Lord Asengar is preparing to adopt his newest military project nicknamed the Floating Duck Project. The nation of Ztw is planning on building a new naval base, the first as a matter of fact, and named after Lord Asengar. Asengar Naval Base It will be located in the ocean side city of Durban along Ztw’s eastern coast. Along with the naval base itself. A small navy will also be composed of about 100 destroyers, 25 battleships, and 5 aircraft carriers and 5 nuclear submarines; all of these will be docked at the naval base. The technology needed to construct the nuclear submarines will be provided by the nation of Vineyard.

An awfully short posting on a conquest. Especially since Hati should be resisting.

It has now been revealed that almost 20,000 Men were landed in the first push, and now almost 100,000 are on the ground, with more arriving by the hour. The long ardous push towards Port-au-Prince has begun, and the battle is turning out harder than expected, with the native forces proving a tough enemy. Spearheading the assault are the 33rd Armored Cavalry Battalion, supported the the 20th and 21st Mechanised Infantry Battalions, with the 42nd Air Group providing support with F-18 Hornets and A-10 Warthogs. The cities of Port-de-Paix, Cap Haïtien, and Gonaïves have been captured, and we are now on the outskirts of Saint-Marc.

Total losses in the campaign so far are several hundred infantrymen, and several dozen tanks. The previous frontal unit, the 32nd Armored Cavalry, were withdrawn due to heavy casualties and shortages of ammunition and gasoline. It is understood that the logistics personnel are working around the clock to ensure that all units are adequatly supplied, but a series of breakdowns are sometimes stopping vital supplies from getting through.

1st main fleet is on its way to the Japanse sea. The fleet has two carrier groups, a battlegroup, one tactical missile submarine group and one attack submarine group. The fleet has been send to support the possible attack on South-East Russia. The 500000 troops will be there tomorrow RL. Also oil found in Indonesia, Malaysia and Brunei will be send to Karond Kar. Warta Endor also starts a research for clean fuel and transportation methods. Maybe a mission will be sent to Beltina's New Zealand to investigate the transportation methods used there.

2: Well sir, we are able to pay for our fuel because it is provided by the S.H.I.T alliance, which controls massive amounts of oil. The navy is modeled after the Vineyardan one because it was intended as a copy, to hunt the Vineyardans out of the water. His higness constructed the navy, but simply scaled up the numbers, due to the fact that Karond Kar's population is seven times the size of that of Vineyard.

Warta Endor drafts another 2 million men. The troops will receive an extensive training of 5 months. These troops will stay their entire workinglife in the military. Due to threat of a possible Nuclear attack the nations leaders will move to a secret place in Warta Endor and govern the counrty from there. Air defence systems will be expanded in a massive projest that will take 5 years.

The battle for Saint-Marc was a long hard fought affair but we have now triumphed, however, the city is in ruins. A force has been dispatched towards Hinche, and the main army is en-route to Verretes. Another landing was made at Jacmel today, and the city has been taken with minimal losses. Some of these forces are being held back to cut off the cities further down the archipelago, while the rest are headed towards Port-au-Prince. Reportedly, supplies, tanks and similar equipment were air-lifted in as well and according to reports, flights from the island of Pagan in the Northern Mariana Islands are continuing on a 24/7 basis. Additionally, 3 carrier groups have been spotted in international waters off the coast of Vladivostik in South East Russia and 4 more spotted in the Kamchatka region of North Eastern Russia.

Meanwhile, cleanup efforts in the Marshall Islands continue. Due to their not feeling pain, they will need to have daily checkups to make sure they are all right. The number of doctors in a beserker unit has nearly doubled.

In other news, all beserker units have been recalled back... this time, to the dead mountains (So called because of the warring between me and doomingsland.). There they are to carefully observe 1,000 troops that patrol the demilitrized zone that belong to Warta Endor. It is unknown what the beserkers will so about this threat, but General Komesar has been granted right to do anything he wants with his troops(the beserkers).

Several insects milled around on a large green leaf, shredding pieces of the organic material for food and nest construction material. The leaf darkened slightly, then reverted to its previous color as the sun played hide and seek with the moderately sized puffy clouds lazily making their way across the sky.

A slight whistle could be heard yet the insects did not recongize the sound, nor did they care. Abruptly they did care in their insectoid way in the instant that everything changed. The leaf, insect congregation, the tree, and the canopy instantly disappeared, to be replaced by flames, ash, and chaos. The ground was pushed downwards into a crater shape by the release of immense energies upon impact.

If one could see through the shredded canopy, pillars of flame and smoke, and billowing clouds of ash, large shards of a metallic substance could be seen. The shards revealed themselves to originate from a ten ton shell, as another shell arced across the sky from kilometers away.

Another boom and crash could be heard in the distance as the second shell made impact with the jungle canopy, ending several hundred more insect lives and a dozen other creature lives.

Several hours passed as the sun crept towards the horizon, as the smoke and flame pillars began dissipating throughout the wounded jungle. Several grunts, barks, and hisses could be heard approaching the vantage point of the long gone insect workforce and victimized leaf. Strangely, the noises had a order to them, set in organized patterns. Somehow the voices translated into a language that the jungle kingdom could not even begin to comphrehend.

"Our Colossus Ultra-Arillery tore up this stretch of jungle pretty good, didn't it?"

"Yeah it certainly did. It's high time that we eliminated the Castillanos government. Its people has suffered long enough under its yoke, and it's only befitting that Sharina will liberate these people."

Several gunshots could be heard, followed by the pitter-patter of machine gunnery.

The voices abruptly ceased, to be replaced by a thudding noise as two large humanoid figures landed inside the crater. The remaining foliage was promptly ripped into shreds as hundreds of machine gun rounds tore through them. The voices started up again, but with a sense of extreme urgency.

"Damnmit! These sons of bitches were lucky the Colossus round didn't come down on their heads."

"Sergeant Pra'vec, be quiet! You'll get us killed from Charlie!"

"He already knows we're here. There's no point, sir."

Sergeant Pra'vec then took a grenade out of his belt and threw it out in the general direction of the machine gun fire. A loud explosion could be heard several dozen meters away, and a machine gun flew through the air. Something creaked then snapped in the same direction, and a moderately sized tree fell down into the crater two meters away from Pra'vec's partner.

Pra'vec spoke again.

"Got him, sir."

"Your cockiness will be the end of you one day."

"Castillanos does not stand a chance anyways. Our forces are already invading El Salvador and Honduras."

"Remember our objective. We need to meet up with the rest of our platoon in securing a small town in Nicaragua, ten kilometers away. This will enable our forces to launch an second offensive into Nicaragua with the goal of capturing its capital city."

***MILITARY PRESSBULLETIN CONCERNING THE SACHALIN INVASION***


The main force (A,15000 marines, 400 T-90 and 50000 soldiers) have captured the city of Yuzho Sachalin and the airport. An other force (B, 10000 marines, 55000 soldiers and 300 T-90) has captured the city of Okha in the north of Sachalin. They met little resistence, so casualties have been light. Another story is the force (C, 5000 marines, 35000 soldiers and 250 T-90) that landed in the middle of the island near the city of Poronaysk. They have met very heavy resistence and have trouble to get of the beachhead. The force has penetrated 3 km inland, which is very little for two days of fighting. A force and B force are in a run to link up with force C, making 25km a day if there's no resistence. For now it seems, most of the enemy forces are occupied with force C, but there may be nasty surprises. The capture of Sachalin is vital as it may function as a base for attacking the rest of South-East Russia and it is very oil rich. We also have other news. Some 175000 marines have started an invasion on 6 main islands of the Kuril archipelago (Kunashir, Iturup, Urup, Simushir, Onekotan and Paramushir). So far we have no other news.

The second reason I see why you have so much territory is that you didnt follow you own rules in claiming lands and that you took a little too much land when it started. I might be wrong in that you RP their taking over. But how can you take over s country if noone is there to RP the defense of it.


Another thing is with Tenebricosis. DontPissUsOff is my friend and I'm sure that he would have RPed the defence of HIS OWN COUNTRY if were told that he was being invaded. Yes, I am now attacking you because I hate to see a good "Earth" go bad. But I will try an back off. You say you are "fixing" your RP's. Do you agree that Rps must be dont right the first time?

-Instate a no-puppet rule
-Open Earth V to new people and Retract you claims in northern Europe and the other claims where people have left.

4. I want bombing runs with the new planes to commence on Chicago immediately on a 24/7 basis as well.

Second, and probably of much more far reaching impact on our nation, in an effort to ensure that the effort to drive our enemy, Vineyard, out of South Eastern Russia is properly co-ordinated between all nations participating in the effort to defeat the war monger and evil nation, King 'Lude has handed control of all troops, equipment, planes and naval vessels involved in the effort over to our ally Warta Endor. The "merging" of our forces will create a military force coming in from the coast of Russia, North Korea and North Eastern Russia that the nation of Vineyard cannot hope to compete against. The official report indicates that, pursuant to this agreement, Warta Endor is now in command of:

2.5 million Mauiwoweean combat troops stationed in North Eastern Russia

I must say that I copy all of USSNA's thoughts about RP'in in Earth-V.

I control Argentina and Ecuador in South America. There are some free unclaimed nations, but I choose not to invade them because then I cannot get new neighbors to RP with. I rather have many neighbors than a big territory just neighboring the oceans...

I totally agree with USSNA in the northern Europe issue. I think that TGSR took the Scandinavians without RP'in it in a proper way. As far as I remember he just posted a map with some arrows on showing the troop movements. He did the same way when he invaded the Baltic states.

If I had been the moderator of this thread, that kind of invasions should not have been recognized.

I have not been so much active in Earth-V lately, this is partly due to lack of time in RL, partly due to I have choosen not to RP so much here due to the low level of RP. Sure there is some great RP's going on, but I think that the over-all level should be rised - especially if you want to have an invasion recognized. Ban the two-three lines invasions!

And closeing the Earth-V? I have never heard about that earlier... Sounds very strange.

A terific explosion occured in the cities of Sakhalin, causing everyone who were in the trenches to turn and watch as large smokeclouds acended from the far away cities into the air above. Quite a few Skahlin militia men cried out in anger, only to be rushed-opon by officers who later blamed it on the enemy.

The capture of the nation of Haiti, although slightly behind schedule, is going well, with acceptable casualties and good progress being made. Saint-Marc was taken by the 1st Army after 9 days of bloody battle, and the force there have moved on to Verettes. Hinche fell after it's defenses, en-route to Saint-Marc, were met on the plains and slaughtered by the armored spearhead of the 3rd Army. However, on entering the city, the 19th Mech. Inf. were ambushed and suffered crippling casualties before they were relieved. The unit has since been disbanded. The 3rd Army are now heading towards Port-au-Prince, and the 1st Army are pushing towards Verettes. The 2nd Army, who landed at Jacmel, are now heading down the peninsula towards Miragoâne.

Wooden and metal transport ships sailed to the Phillipines on the South Chinese Sea. There was some wind but all ships stayed on course. 300,000 troops were sent first. Ships were spread out to minimize casualties.

General Briones: "Ok, go on with our plans, Operation Island Eruption begins now."

As ships neared the island, snipers fired at watchmen. An alarm sounded and turrets were beggining to be manned. Anti-tank rifles were used to take turrets out. Verettes has fallen, and not many died in the taking. The 1st and 3rd Armies are laying seige to Port-au-Prince, and the 2nd Army has captured Miragoâne and are consolidating for the moment. Also i am troubled by the city Wladivostok... examining my world map reveals that there is no such city... but there is a city called Vladivostok near the Russia - Korea border. I will assume you are bombing that city, as it seems pretty major. It even has the only airfeild for hundreds of miles.

As for our invasion plan, as you can see from the map, we are sending 1.5 million men out of Yakutsk south. Once they have cleared the Stanovoy Mountains they will split into 2 groups. The smaller group of 500,000 will cut south-east headed to Birobidzhan with the idea that Vineyard's men will get trapped between this force and the forces coming in from North Korea to Vladivostok and headed up to Khabarovsk and invading from the Sachalin islands (We assume that force will head to Komsomol'skna-Amure). The second, larger group of 1 million will head south-west to Chita and Aginskoye. Meanwhile a 2nd contingent of 1 million men will be headed south out of Tura towards Angarsk and Kyzyl. Essentially cutting Vineyard's forces in two and destroying their supply lines and forcing them to withdraw to the West or be pushed into Mongolia and China. Obviously, estensive bombing will be carried out in advance of our troops spearhead into these regions. Supply lines will intitially be long, but we have the men and equipment to sustain them and once the forces under your command have moved in from North Korea and Sachalin Island, shorter supply lines can be established to the east rather than back to the north. OOC: I assume this is all for Lil' ole me? :) Actually, I'm waiting for WE to post again and react to my post before I go forward - could you clarify whether your guys are actually in the city of Irkutsk, which is close to the border with Mongolia and more or less on my troop's way to Angarsk and Kyzyl, or are they further north in the Irkutsk region, such as near Bratsk (which IMHO would make more strategic sense since they would have a place to fall back to from there, in the city of Irkutsk, there is not much of any place to go except Mongolia or West to Angarsk and Kyzyl.)

What type of weaponary such as cannon rounds, missile types, or bomb munitions does the Head Rush require? Sharina would be able to produce these jets more effectively if factories could install the weapons during assembly.

As you may or may not be aware, Sharina employs extensive automated manufacturing plants, with robotic assembly lines. We can practically put raw material in one end, and the finished product comes out the other end. We do not need to assemble things in stages, which reduces overhead, increases manufacturing capacity and speed, and eliminates much of wasted materials from milling and human operated tools.

Our factories are capable of production of material and objects within a precision of 0.0001 millimeters thanks to lasers and advanced robotic tools.

We would like to donate the first 7,000 Head Rush jets to S.H.I.T. and FOAM to bolster its defenses in the Pacific Ocean. After all, air power is a necessity in such a vast arena of operations. These jets will be delivered to Honoulu from Seattle, San Franscisco, Los Angeles, and docks along the Baja Gulf and Mexico.

A hard surface laid under the beating afternoon sun, with giant jungle trees rising towards the sky on both sides of the road. Suddenly, un-natural noises could be heard as artificial objects became visible on the road. The moving trucks resembled large flat boards on wheels, with even more un-natural objects resting on top of the platforms.

The objects on the truck beds resembled metallic golems, with their grey skins somehow absorbing the sunlight. Sitting at the foot of each golem stood a large shield with the Sharina symbol emblazoned across it. The shield easily stood one and half meters tall, while the golems stood approximately two meters tall.

Right after the tenth Golem Truck passed by, a large armored vehicle followed. The armored vehicle had three axles, with three wheels each set in a triangular formation. Two turrets rested on the front and rear sides of the vehicle, and two long angled barrels rested opposite each other in the exact middle of the top side of the vehicle.

In the armored front window, two people, the driver and a gunner, could be seen talking.

The gunner took his eyes off the Motion Detector to size up the road. The driver sighed and shot the gunner an annoyed glance.

"You'll have your action soon enough. We're approximately 10 miles away from the capital city of Managua."

The gunner grunted as he polished his gunnery console.

"I want to test these new 40mm Chain-Storm turrets. From what I hear, they can stand toe to toe with armored vehicles with 300 - 600 mm armor. Imagine a tank being pummeled by an APC!"

The gunner began grinning like a school boy at the prospect.

Several guffaws of laughter broke out inside the APC.

A voice began speaking out loud.

Obviously it can carry nuclear bombs if need be, despite the "classified" nature of its nuclear weapons capabilities. We would think that with it's internal bays and wing stand-off capabilities, minor adjustments would be all it would take to use weapons other than those described above. We agree that the planes should be manufactured with weapons in place and appreciate the donation of 7,000 to FOAM for patrol and Defense purposes and would suggest those planes do not need to be configured as bombers, but a few configured as transports might be called for. The Palace announced today that all troops and equipment were in place in North East Russia and that bombing runs had begun in advance of the invasion of our ground troops. Our FOAM ally, Warta Endor has already engaged in significant bombing attacks near Vladivostok and the coast of South East Russia and tonight, Mauiwowee has joined in with bombings in the interior of South East Russia.

The main target, at this time, appears to be the city of Bratsk in the Irkutsk region of South East Russia, although reports of flights as far south as the city of Irkutsk itself have been reported with reports of bombing in Zima and Cheremkhovo and Tulun showing up. General Ripper stated today "Let's see Vineyard stop a bomber flying in at twice the speed of sound to deliver it's load of 40,000 lbs. of high intensity explosives." According to General Ripper, this bombing will continue on a 24/7 basis for at least the next week in an effort to "soften up" Vineyard's forces for a ground force invasion. We have additional reports that in addition to the generalized bombing runs being undertaken, that as many as 400 Stealth F-22A Raptors are being sent out with full missile loads to attack specific targets as they are identified, particularly targeted by these attacks are convoys of tanks and supplies that seem destined for the Vineyardian forces in the area. As additional news on this front is made available we'll update you.

As to our troops in Yakutsk, we have word that some 1.5 million men with their tanks and equipment have begun an invasion into South East Russia. Apparently headed through the Stanovoy Range of Mountains towards the River Amur where they presumably will connect with Warta Endorian forces. Their advance into South East Russia is being covered by High Altitude B-52 Bombers and, closer to the ground, an additional 500 F-22A Raptors and some 1,000 Apache and Blackhawk Helicopters. General Ripper has stated that he doesn't foresee any significant opposition to this advance until the troops clear the Stanovoy Mountain Range and approach the Amur River area. But he is taking nothing for granted. "Vineyard has already nuked an island of civilans in this war, we can't expect him to just roll over now, despite the overwhelming odds in our favor." In short, there were some of the elite of the elite, the most deadly team of special ops. forces in Mauiwowee's command. The job they had trained for and knew how to do was to survive, undetected, off the land and provide intelligence to Mauiwoweean forces and to wreak havoc with sabatouge on the enemy while the enemy wondered what had happened and how. I also want another 50,000 troops moving north into Missourri out of Blytheville, Arkansas headed to Cape Gueardo to secure that area as a staging ground and another 20,000 headed north from Bentonville, Arkansas to Joplin, Missourri and still another 100,000 moving in to Missourri from Kansas City and headed across the state to Hannibal.

4. I want bombing runs with the new planes to commence on Chicago immediately on a 24/7 basis as well.

5. Finally, I want 50,000 troops headed from Nebraska into Sioux City, Iowa with bombing runs using the new planes to begin on Fort Dodge and Cedar Falls.

Once we've secured control of these areas with our troops, we'll be in the position to overrun Illinois. I plan for us also to take the Dakotas, but I want these areas of the midwest first to secure our control of the Mississippi valley and gain access to the Great Lakes and I want the Virgin Islands to give us a better vantage point to watch over the Gulf and Carribbean. Now, gentlemen, go do you jobs."

Our troops met minimal resistance there and while some house-to-house fighting continues, our troops are on the ground and receiving air cover from the carriers. We lost 945 soldiers total, 16 F-18A Hornets, 1 "Head Rush" bomber, 1 Battleship and 2 Destroyers in the attack and invasion, but all-in-all things are going our way there. On the other hand, in St. Croix, we have yet to actually land any troops. It appears that the bulk of the resistance forces from St. Thomas and St. John retreated to St. Croix to initiate a stand-off. I suggest we send another carrier group to that island immediately. By our estimates, some 40,000 resistance forces are operating on that island, many hiding in the central mountains, and an extensive bombing campaign and maybe special ops. insertions are called for before an full blown invasionary forces takes on their task."

"Good, make it happen commmander" said Duke Long. "Well!" said Army General Jackson "Missouri folded quickly when they saw our troops coming up the Mississippi River from Memphis, backed with troops from Blytheville and Bentonville Arkansas and Kansas City. St. Louis, Joplin, Kansas City and Cape Guiardo belong to us as does East St. Louis, Illinois. Hannibal, Missouri is the last hold out and I don't see them lasting too long. We've lost, maybe, 400 men in the taking of Missourri. They were surrounded and they knew it. The challenge is going to be Illinois, bombing runs on Chicago are continuing, but it will be another 2-3 weeks at a minimum before a full blown invasionary force can be launched from Missourri into Illinois territory. On the subject of Iowa, however, we've been surprised at how resistant they are. Bombing of Fort Dodge and Cedar Falls continues, but we have met heavy resistance to our troops in Sioux City. While we have troops in Iowa, Their advance has been slow. Over 1,100 have been killed or wounded and the Iowan's use of RPG's to attack the Ferrets was unanticipated. Everywhere we turn, those bastards are hidden in cornfields ready to attack our tanks and APV's with RPG's and small arms fire. Their air force, such as it is, has also put up a decent fight over Cedar Falls and I think we have only just barely gained an upper hand there at the cost of over 50 of our F-22A Raptors and 12 Stratofortress bombers. We can take them, but it will take a little longer than anticipated intitially. Also, I would not count on being able to use any significant invasionary force out of Iowa in the conquest of Illinois unless you are willing to wait another 2 months, at a minimum, before you advance our forces there."

"Damn!" said Duke Long "How can Missourri be so easy and Iowa so hard? It's flat cornfield land, no mountains like the Ozarks."

"Well sir" said the General "In Missourri, we had them surrounded on the south and west and basically had control of the east via the Mississippi. In Iowa, we've only got the west via Nebraska. While some troops could be marched into the south out of Missourri, I would not reccomend it at this time since we still need to ensure that, although they have surrendered, Missourri truly is secure under our control."

"Ok General, I see your point. Keep up the work in Iowa and lets ensure Missourri is secure since I want to get our boys into Illinois ASAP. Assign another 50 bombers to soften up Illinois for us. I want Great Lakes access. To supplement our control of the Mississippi River."

"So gentlemen, where do we stand in operation "Virgin Midwest?" asked the Duke

"Well sir," said Naval commander, Jue Laws "We've basically secured the islands of St. Thomas and St. John. Our troops met minimal resistance there and while some house-to-house fighting continues, our troops are on the ground and receiving air cover from the carriers. We lost 945 soldiers total, 16 F-18A Hornets, 1 "Head Rush" bomber, 1 Battleship and 2 Destroyers in the attack and invasion, but all-in-all things are going our way there. On the other hand, in St. Croix, we have yet to actually land any troops. It appears that the bulk of the resistance forces from St. Thomas and St. John retreated to St. Croix to initiate a stand-off. I suggest we send another carrier group to that island immediately. By our estimates, some 40,000 resistance forces are operating on that island, many hiding in the central mountains, and an extensive bombing campaign and maybe special ops. insertions are called for before an full blown invasionary forces takes on their task."

"Good, make it happen commmander" said Duke Long. "I want that island decimated by our bombers before our boys hit the beach." ::: turning to the airforce commander ::: "General Whang, I want at least 15 of our B-52 Stratofortresses assigned to bombing runs over the central mountains of St. Croix on a 24/7 basis as of now."

"How goes the midwest campaign?" continued Duke Long

"Well!" said Army General Jackson "Missouri folded quickly when they saw our troops coming up the Mississippi River from Memphis, backed with troops from Blytheville and Bentonville Arkansas and Kansas City. St. Louis, Joplin, Kansas City and Cape Guiardo belong to us as does East St. Louis, Illinois. Hannibal, Missouri is the last hold out and I don't see them lasting too long. We've lost, maybe, 400 men in the taking of Missourri. They were surrounded and they knew it. The challenge is going to be Illinois, bombing runs on Chicago are continuing, but it will be another 2-3 weeks at a minimum before a full blown invasionary force can be launched from Missourri into Illinois territory. On the subject of Iowa, however, we've been surprised at how resistant they are. Bombing of Fort Dodge and Cedar Falls continues, but we have met heavy resistance to our troops in Sioux City. While we have troops in Iowa, Their advance has been slow. Over 1,100 have been killed or wounded and the Iowan's use of RPG's to attack the Ferrets was unanticipated. Everywhere we turn, those bastards are hidden in cornfields ready to attack our tanks and APV's with RPG's and small arms fire. Their air force, such as it is, has also put up a decent fight over Cedar Falls and I think we have only just barely gained an upper hand there at the cost of over 50 of our F-22A Raptors and 12 Stratofortress bombers. We can take them, but it will take a little longer than anticipated intitially. Also, I would not count on being able to use any significant invasionary force out of Iowa in the conquest of Illinois unless you are willing to wait another 2 months, at a minimum, before you advance our forces there."

"Damn!" said Duke Long "How can Missourri be so easy and Iowa so hard? It's flat cornfield land, no mountains like the Ozarks."

"Well sir" said the General "In Missourri, we had them surrounded on the south and west and basically had control of the east via the Mississippi. In Iowa, we've only got the west via Nebraska. While some troops could be marched into the south out of Missourri, I would not reccomend it at this time since we still need to ensure that, although they have surrendered, Missourri truly is secure under our control."

"Ok General, I see your point. Keep up the work in Iowa and lets ensure Missourri is secure since I want to get our boys into Illinois ASAP. Assign another 50 bombers to soften up Illinois for us. I want Great Lakes access. To supplement our control of the Mississippi River."


Des Moines, Iowa


General Jack Bradley gazed out over the large map that now layed before him.

Printed on the creased yellow paper was a large map of Iowa, along with carefully arrayed blocks symbolizing both friendly and enemy troop movements.

Jack knew the situation was bleak. Thousands of enemy soliders were moving through the southern countryside, eliminating any resistance they encountered. But now was the time for the turning point in this conflict.

Bradley figured that to eliminate this invasion, he would need to do three things:

1. Lower Morale
2. Create Confusion
3. Draw out the conflict for as long as possible

The simple solution to these three objectives was to wage a well-organized gurellia war agianst the enemy.

Since most Iowian Men were skilled in the arts of hunting, this would be quite simple.

Bradley now looked up from the map and eyed each of his commanding officers, enstilling within them a sense of duty and courage.

" Men, as you may know this war has not been going well. Our forces have been hit hard and we have not won a single victory to date. However that is about to change."

Briefly clearing his throat, Bradley continued...

" Today marks the beginning of a new war, where we will be the masters of the battlefield. We know that the enemy wants a quick victory, otherwise his interest will begin to dwindle and he will lose hope in victory. That is why our new objectives will be quite simple. To create confusion and chaos within their ranks, to lower the morale of their forces and to avoid a major defeat. They may take our cities, but we will countiue to fight. I'm sure all of you know how to conduct a war of this type, I have complete faith in your abilities. So let us fight for duty honor and pride."

A series of cheers erupted in the room, as Bradleys staff left the room to begin their new found quest...


Southern Iowa


Farmer Billy Johnson gazed out upon the column of soliders now approaching the main row.

Among their ranks were 3 tanks, now lumbering along, their malicous mechanical thunder echoing across the fields of wheat.

Their objective was to sieze the small supply depot located in the nearby town of Brakston City. From the way they marched, it appeared as though they were confident, but they did not know of the danger ahead of them.

Within the tall grasses and trees along the road, hid several dozen farmers, armed with an assortment of rifles, shotguns, machine-guns and even a couple RPG-7s. They were intent on avenging the losses further to the south and each of them refused to leave their home until each and every Norleanian solider was dead.

Leveling his RPG on one of the three tanks, now quickly rolling ahead of the column, Billy waited for the signal. For several minuites he and his comrade paitently waited for the enemy to arrive.

By the time the column was in-between the farmers, the signal was let loose.

"ARGGGHHH"

Salvos of guns fire erupt across the small road as each side began to open fire. Billy quickly dischaged an RPG round into the nearest tank, send a large fireball into the air. Loading another round into his launcher, he noticed that both sides were taking casualties.

Suddenly the farmers rushed from their postions to meet the invaders in hand-to-hand combat. The fighting quickly dissovled into a bloody massacre, with each man clawing at the next.

Finaly, After several minuites of heated combat, the guns ceased fire. Across the road layed the strewn corpses of many, both farmers and soliders.

Dragging as many wounded farmers as he could, Billy and his remianing comrades returned to their small hideout to nurse the wounded and prepare for another ambush.

Events like this soon began to occur all over the Iowian countryside, as the farmers and countrymen of this small nation fought a desperate gurellia war agianst the invaders.

"Sir, they've taken out another Appache and at least 2 armored columns, including 8 tanks and 5 Ferret APV's - They've gone Guerrilla on us."

"Crap, our guys are tied up in Sioux City too - send a message to Duke Long, this isn't going to be a walk in the park."

Somwhere in Rual Iowa.

Now in his late fifties, Mark Thompson had seen plenty of things throught his long lifespan, but this was truly apalling.

Hundreds of soliders were now moving towards the county seat of Liberty, burning and pillaging as they went. They seemed satisfied at the cruel blaze as it cosumed the land all around.

Climbing into his old cropduster, Mark smiled to himself, as he adjusted the controls and pushed the ignition.

I'll give these bastards something to think about.

Strapped under the worn aluminum wings were two large homemade napalm canisters, capable of searing the worn earth and anything upon it.

As the sputtering engine roared to life, the plane quickly gained speed as it rumbled down the dirt airfield. Finaly, the cropduster took flight and began to gain altitude.

Gazing down at the farmlands below, Mark could already see that a fight had broken out between the angered farmers and their invaders. Small flashes erupted across the once peaceful field, as men rushed to battle.

At 300ft. Mark turned his aircraft and maneuvered it towards the ramgaing enemy forces, now within the outskirts of the town.

Alright old girl, lets see what you can do.

Mark thrusted the control stick down, putting his plane into a dive. At 100 ft. he pressed the red switch on his control panel, releasing his weapons upon the unsuspecting enemy.

Seconds later, two massive fireballs engulfed the battlefield, creating a Hell-ish type wrath that cosumed everything in its path.

Mark smiled to himself, as he levled the plane out. But his happness came to an abrupt halt when hundreds of enemy round began to pepper the old cropduster.

Mark tried to dodge the oncoming fire, but it was too late. A round bullet struck his fuel tank and within a few moments, Mark ceased to exsist.

If we continue this, it's going to drag on and cost us significantly more in terms of troops and equipment - troops and equipment that are better used to take Illinois with."

"I see your point General. Do we even know how to contact Lachenburg's leaders?"

"No sir, we don't. We assume they're holed up in Des Moines somewhere, but we don't have any direct, secure line to them. We do have a few POW's though."

"OK, cut loose 3 POW's and give them a message to relay back to their leaders - they should contact us via encrypted e-mails at IP Address 847.348.10.454. Have them tell their commanders we want to discuss possible terms of a truce - DO NOT give them the idea though that we have any concern about our ability to overpower their defenses though. I want to keep them guessing just a little longer on what our plans are. In the meantime, intensify the bombing of Sioux City. Let's see what they do."

General Bradley looked out over the city square to see a group of milita vigorously training. Each of them determined to make the best impression on their commanding officer.

Bradley had been pleased by the recent news. Things had been looking up for their cause, ever since the guerilla war had started. But he knew that only a regular army could halt this invasion.

Nearby footsteps alerted the General and he promplty swung around to see one of his young aides.

" Sir, I have two telegrams. One from Zuhair Malik and the other from Norleans. Both are labled "TOP PRIORITY".

Grabbing the two small slips from her frail hands, Bradley quickly skimed both documents and quickly rushed of to his general quarters.

As of the moment, I myself would not be able to attend the conference, due to my immense responsibilites; however, Ambassador Martin Issacson would attend in my place.

As we speak, 500,000 troops are on their way in the massive Airbus A380 Transports we have acquirred. They will be droping into Iowa (Des Moines) around lunchtime today. Our weapons and equiptment(Not to mention tatics) is highly, Vineyardized, as we are his ally. We have acquired production rights for tanks and currently posses 15,000 of them. You may have as many as 10,000, but here is a word of caution: These tanks are Huge(By huge i mean larger that your average tank!). They are highly unsuited to Gurilla warfare. ZG-844 Tanks include a 120 mm cannon, a machine gun on top, with Anti aircraft capibilities with the cannon, being able to load homing missles. The Turret has quick turning capabilities. The crew will involve 3 men; the driver/commander, machine gunner, and the loader/gunner. The armor, without upgrades, is 2 feet thick titanium alloy. These tanks have GE engines (I Forget spcifics) and are practically homing becons to infared missles and gear. In order to acquire these big mommas(in a joking fasion) we need to land them, not drop them from the air. i recommend that you specify a time when my air lifting fleet will be able to bring you your tanks... as well as the tanks for my army. For now, my troops will be under your command until i can acquire one of those experienced Vineyardian generals.

Greetings,

On the behalf of my entire nation, we wish to thank you for the rienforcements. Drop zones around Des Moines will be secured, so that your troops can be distributed to the front lines as soon as possible.

At the current time, our local militas are sorely in need of adequete training, but the Confedercy of Iowa does not have an established training program. If you could please contribute some of your NCO's and officers to the task of training our militas, we could fight far more effectivley.

Although we thank you for the offer, the ZG-844 Tanks are not needed at the moment, but we will need a Main Battle Tank to suit our regular infantry after the war.

We join in with Mauiwowean and Vineyards terms. We say however that we officially declared war before we attacked Vineyard (I've sent a telegram), we've never broken any treaty. We pay for the return of Vineyards POW's and give them a years salary. If even one of our soldiers is tortured, we will not hesitate to use force to bring the people who tortured to justice. We refuse to pay compensation for the moment, as you actually ignited a flame by refusing to accept that Karond Kar occupies South Korea, which was nor your territory, nor occupied by any nation. Warta Endorean forces will seize fire at 2200 hours. (western European time) However, we thank Vineyard that it has chosen the way of peace instead of resuming this stupid conflict.

Dear Sir:

We are agreeable to a cease fire on one condition. Intelligence reports and our aircraft report heavy numbers of flights into the Confederacy of Iowa by planes from Zuhair Malik, an ally to the most hated, war-mongering nation in all of Earth V - Vineyard. We have refrained from firing on these planes in an effort to avoid a spread of the conflict outside the borders of Iowa. However, these flights must cease immediately and any and all military personnel from Zuhair Malik in Iowa and any and all military equipment you have received from them must be returned immediately as a show of good faith in this matter. Any humanitarian aid you have received is certainly yours to keep and distribute to your people. However, we strenously object to involving outside parties to this conflict.

On the other hand, as a show of our good faith, we are willing to conduct peace talks in Des Moines itself and I will attend in person and on behalf of Norleans to show our true desire to end this senseless conflict. Furthermore, it is hoped that by our conference we might become allies in North America rather than enemies. I am certain that we can work out mutually beneficial trade matters based on my control of the Mississippi River valley. However, again, we must insist that you cease communication with Zuhair Malik until the terms of our agreement have been worked out. A reply from you indicating acceptance of these terms and confirmation that you have ceased to receive aid of any type from Zuhair Malik will result in an immediate cease fire by our troops and a suspension of all bombing.

On the other hand, if we have received no reply within 24 Hours, we will step up our attacks, directly engage Zuhair Malik aircraft spotted in Iowan airspace and begin direct attacks on Des Moines itself, a city we have, for the time being, left intact and undisturbed.

P.S. I'm attaching a copy of the treaty we have entered into with our ally to the west, Sharina, for your review as a starting point in possible peace talks. As you can see, we have both benefitted by the treaty and we would suggest that a similar treaty with you is possible.


In a meeting in the Rice House in Mettarrie, just outside New Orleans city proper, this morning, the nations of Norleans and Sharina signed a treaty which ceded control of a substantial portion of the western half of North America to Sharina. However, the treaty also grants some important concessions to the nation of Norleans. Going down the list, specifically, the treaty provides that:

1. Political control of the states of New Mexico & Colorado, Montana & Wyoming have been ceded to Sharina who in turn have given up any claims to Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas & Nebraska.

2. The nation of Norleans will be permitted to establish military bases and strongholds in Colorado (and sources inform us that a base is already in construction in Telluride). Likewise, Sharina will be permitted to postition military installments in Nebraska.

3. "Free Passage" and "Free Trade" between the citizens of Norleans and Sharina in the states of Colorado and Nebraska will be permitted with citizens of each nation being afforded an equal right of residency and property ownership in Colorado and Nebraska.

4. The ownership of businesses in Nebraska by Sharianian natives and the ownership of businesses in Colorado by Norleanians, shall be permitted and encouraged by both nations. Further, taxation on such businesses shall be equal and levelized between the two nations.

5. Taxation of the citizens of either nation that reside within the confines of the other nation (i.e. a citizen of Norleans that lives in Colorado or a citizen of Sharina that lives in Nebraska) shall be in accordance with the tax laws of the nation of their citizenry (i.e. the Norleans citizen who resides in Colorado will pay only those taxes to Sharina that he would have paid to Norleans had he lived in Nebraska, and vice-versa).

6. Tariffs on goods which originate in Colorado and are shipped to Norleans shall be reduced by 80% and likewise on goods shipped from Nebraska to Sharina. The key export from Sharina expected to be minerals and precious metals and the key export from Norleans expected to be food, grain and oil due to it's holdings in the Gulf of Mexico and Texas.

The historic nature of this treaty cannot be stressed enough. It basically splits everything west of the Mississippi between Sharina and Norleans and grants citizens of each nation the right to be treated as if they were at home in the states of Colorado and Nebraska. In effect, if not words, establishing a free trade and residency zone in those states.

Our ally has requested one of our generals to come to your state. We are sending Gen. Reiko Komesar, a veteren of the Doomingsland war. he will advise your Generals and command the Zuhair Malikian troops. Also, we have heard a request for people to train your troops. My government will be happy to comply. Our highest elite troops, The Beserker troops, will be sent to train your army. All 8,000 of them. but they will not engage in hostilities against Norleans, as we don't want another large conflict. As you may know, i have 5 million troops withdrawing from my last Asia holding. They will be bringing lots of extra supplies that my stores can't hold. My nation will send you all of the South East Russia supplies that we managed to bring out and send it to you. Our nation wishes to reamin NUTURAL in this conflict!
