They were inside the military complex in Tel-Aviv. Usually there was heavy security in this place, but due to the chaos made by the Tomahawks (one even hit this base) they managed to enter the base.

"Roger, we have the coordinates! Three Tomahawks will come in about four minutes. Please leave the area!" replied the HQ.

The marines leaved. They didn't run because they wouldn't like to bring attention. Suddenly there was a large explosion in the air a few hundred meters away. The Israelis had shot down one of the Tomahawks. A millisecond after that, two more explosions came. This time in the building where the Defense Forces' Chief of General Staff was located. The marines flew away a couple of meters, but they didn't get any serious hurts – expect for one of the marines who were hit by a large bloc of concrete. He died immediately.

"Task Force Potatochief to HQ! Task Force Potatochief to HQ! Target is out! I repeat, target is out!!" reported one of the marines in the radio.

I have over 30 Nimitz Carriers from Jesusvania and im moving 20 of them into an carrier fleet (he has the F-14D on them) Im putting all 60 of his Hellsing Class Battleships (he's an RL friend so he has the plans for these aswell) into an battle group aimed towards the Carribean

I only planed on Supplying you with materials but had no desire to fight an full war, im reclining from the alliance (sad to say) and Cameroon will be handled over to Vineyard as an "war throphy". He can do whatever he wants with it, bomb it, use it, sell it; i dont care much.

The 5 B-2B Spirit-II stealth bombers we flying silently in the air. Their stealth, being enhanced by recent additions. With 2 of them carrying 50 cluser bombs designed to take out runways and the other 3 carrying 75, pre-programed JDAMs to take out bunkers, hangers, and aircraft, this force was not to be taken lightly. Their target was a new Kopparbergs airfield in Israel.

"Okay boys, lets do this right and then get out as quickly as possible. We are now entering radio silence." said Colonel Mark Frank before turning of the transmission part of his radio. He knew that this attack would go off without a hitch due to his extensive training. He also knew that this attack would take many lives, a thing he hated to do.

He hated taking life. He always tried not to think about how the relatives of the people he had killed must have felt, but they always haunted him. He always remembered his wife and kids back home, and thought about how they would feel. But he knew that it had to be done. It was human nature, waging war. Yet he could never fully accept that.


"We are approaching the target Sir," said his co-pilot, "Should I arm the weapons?"

"Yes, arm the weapons and recheck the GPS coordinates." replied the Colonel.

"Yes Sir."

As the co-pilot rechecked the GPS coordinates on the JDAMs, Mark said a little prayer to God. He did this every bombing run. He prayed for 3 things: a succesful mission, a safe return, and a wish that God would bless those that died in the attack. He did this out of respect for the other solider. "He may be my enemy, but he is still a person." he had always thought.

Just seconds before the airfield would become a pile of scrap, Mark opened the bombay-doors. With the flick of a switch he launched all 75 of his JDAMs. Another set of lives were taken.


With the bombay-doors closed and stealth ensured again, all of the B-2Bs broke course and made way back home. This was not without risk however; they were almost instanly met with a sea of AA fire. While none of the aircraft were hit, it still made for a nerve-racking ride home.

Revertromance got crushed in the Swiss War in a mere 13 days however not an single Revertromance citizen was killed or injured in the intire conflict and not an single "enemy" was killed or injured. The war was more of an stand-off/ diplomatic victory by Vineyard (OOC: i hope this incident doesnt kill all good relations between our countries, or ANY countries i was allied against during the short conflict.

The intire war began after C-130s we detained by Vineyardian forces after being suspected of aiding Kopperbargs forces in Ireasel (i still can't spell it).
The government is still not talking about this however; but, we would liek to remind you that taking and holding ones milatary is normally called an act of war.

We weren't going to simply stand there and let this happen, we objected and got thrown into the engagement. Our pilots going to be returned YET (still in Vineyards hands).

The blockade of the Carribean Islands was an response to possible Doominglands milatary build-up in the region. This was not my intent, again, my only intent was to protect my national intrests against Vineyard.
We further responded by putting the intire milatary at Defcon 1 and moving the intire navy onto an tight coastal patrol and ordered all ships to hold the line but not go past the national/international point.

Mainwhile in Cyprus an massive resupply effort (the only mission of the war)
was mounted during the night, this is the only "operation" conducted by Revertromance in the intire engagement. Again it was directed at Vineyard.

In Africa Vineyard sent an force to take Cameroon, i pretty much gave up on Cameroon and gave it to him before he had an chance to invade

Also before he had an chance to invaded i surrendered against the Vineyardian forces seeing, the war was lost from the beginning. To add to Vineyards claims, i gave him Cameroon as an "war throphy" seeing as how he was on route to it. The land in South Carolina will not change hands and stay in Revertromance control. However, Revertromance will allow Norleans and Sharina forces to look in the active decomissioning of war materials in the area. Currently a few Air-Ground Missle sites. We wish to hold on this land to help with trade and international diplomacy in the North Americas

This is Revertromances Intire Report of the 13 day conflict that erupted between Vineyard and Revertromance.

15 kilometers off the coast of South Carolina:

The seemingly calm rolling waters of the Atlantic Ocean were suddenly split into half as a massive mettalic structure pierced the water. The metallic object grew larger and larger, and had an smooth and nearly semi-organic look. Several symbols in an cold and logical arrangement revealed themselves, and any knowledgable observer would identify the symbols as of Sharina origin. The symbols read "SNV Gra'daos" and as the symbols passed by, the other end of the Gra'daos became visible.

Several flying objects flew overhead, apparently aircraft. One of the aircraft suddenly made a descent towards the Gra'daos, landing on a given area on its top amid a slightly raised dome area. Suddenly, the dome opened, revealing itself to be an small elevator. The aircraft disappeared as the elevator descended into the massive vessel, and the dome closed back up.

The Nexus class carrier slowly made it way northwards, as several other vessels could be seen in the distance. Within the command tower, several people could be seen conversing.

A tall, ordinary looking man clad in a jade uniform with golden trimmings took in the busy command center. He looked at several technicians and officers, demanding status reports soley by his gaze and facial expression. The technician closest to him stood at attention and began speaking quickly.

"Task Forces 1 through 6 reporting full readiness. Poseidon Groups 1 and 2 report full readiness. Poseidon Groups 3 and 4 are not expected to arrive for another day."

The tall man nodded and gave a grim smile.

"Very good, Communications Officer. Continue your diligent work."

The man turned towards a woman several meters to the right of the Communications Officer, near an dazzling array of flat-screen displays and several sensor consoles.

"Report on aerial reconssiance."

The woman took a glance and began inputting commands to bring up the necessary information on the various displays alongside the wall.

"Our UAV's report that the potential enemy, RevertRomance, has several dozen warships in his waters several kilometers west of us. The most dangerous of them are the Nimitz Carriers and the battleship analogs. It's nothing we can't handle, Admiral Grev'va."

The admiral nodded at the Tactical Officer, and turned back towards the main view.

"Proceed with Phase Alpha. Deploy the Poseidon Groups 1 and 2 accordingly."

Thus, the war has spread to North America.

First, I am able to afford these ships because I'm much bigger than you. I'm nearing the billion mark.

Second, I have a 5 trillion defense budget.

Third, I included a good number of supply ships.

Fourth, I have far more natural resources in Earth V than you. I'm able to build these ships.

Fifth, I have far more personnel to devote to the military. Going by 5% military rule, I'm able to deploy 47.5 million men. That's easily 1/4 of your entire population.

However, seeing that I've been engaged in a decade of warfare in North America, through my RP'ing here since October, my economy is already on a hardcore war-time economy. I've conquered Yevon of Spira, Sir Peter the Sage, Blacktower, and Castillanos. These wars gave my soldiers much needed "veteran" experience. Seeing that my economy is already on a war footing, I could deploy a couple million men, making it an exact 50 million man army.

Last, my form of government, a Technocracy, allows for some extra boosts in productivity than a dictatorship or a republic. A Technocracy is a new type of government that has been under discussion for the past century.

I'm still going to have my navy stay near you to watch and check all freights and turn away any and all military vessels and aircraft. This is to keep you in, while keeping Doomingsland and Wirraway out of North America.

Once the war passes, I will withdraw my navy, as by that time Doomingsland and Wirraway will likely be defeated or at the very least, unable to attack North America again.

I will not invade South Carolina though, unless I get provoked (if any Doominsgland and Wirraway forces appear out of nowhere in North America).

What I meant by "magically pop out" was if bombers and aircraft begin flying over Norleans and my territory, way out of their operational range (if a 3000 mile range bomber flies across, say, Texas when they're supposed to be based in Europe, it could only mean that they are operating from bases much closer to Texas. The only likely base would be carriers, or in cases of B-2, B-52, or large aircraft, South Carolina).

We advance steadily, but with heavy losses. Resistence is heavy but we maneged to capture the following major cities:

Celebes is largely under control after we captured the following cities:

The first plan of the new government is to let unemployed laborers build a large train tunnel from Singapore to Sumatra, over Sumatra, under Sunda Strait and connect the rail with exciting high speed railways on Java and mainland Warta Endor (Malacca peninsula and Singapore). For the more difficult work regular and elite engineers will work on the project, which is expected to be finoshed in 7 NS years.

With amazing speed, 750,000 troops riding armored transports and Tanks(7,500) have smashed into Jordan with suprising speed, and without warning. The Jordinian militatry has been caught with their pants down and already their central command has been destroied. What remains of their military has either deserted or fled into the Gaza strip... probably to hide or to regroup. A massive chandelier of titanium, glass, and panels floated far above the magnificent blue sphere that is the home of millions of different species. Only two species out of these millions has the capacity of massive destruction that no other species may even hope to match or surpass. Once the satellites reached their assigned deployment targets, their panels began opening, and several massive dishes began springing open on their undersides. Several rods and antennae began descending out of the satellites along their sides, bottoms, and center of the deploying dishes.

Scanning began in earnest, and dozens of constant real-time microwave communication tranmissions began erupting between the deployed satellites and the Sharina space station deployed directly above the ocean near the British Virgin Islands, near the Virgin Incursion owned Space Elevator. Gigabytes and terabytes of data were collected and processed every minute, providing Sharina with detailed scans of the Caribbean Sea, due to multiple sensor arrays on the satellites.

Sharina was entering its final stages of preparation for war aganist Cuba.

Captain Cha'ora Hesoca was reading the latest reports as he floated in mid-air inside the command module on the Veristek Space Station holding geo-stationary orbit several hundred kilometers above the Caribbean Sea. In a scene that was duplicated, with only insignificant differences, in Terre Haute, IN. The mayor of Gary Indiana was awakened at 5:00 am when the lights suddenly came on in his bedroom and there was a loud :bang: as a gun fired and the ceiling fan fell on the bed. Jerking up in their bed, the mayor and his wife rubbed their eyes in the sudden brightness. Gaining his composure, the mayor looked around in shock at the men in his bedroom. Four were in in black, military fatigues, but the 5th stood out in his finely tailored, Italian cut, double breasted, navy blue, silk suit and tie. However, he was the one holding a gun, and it was pointed at the mayor.

Koppars, not to be an ass, but I think Tene has a point, you are second in command of Earth V, besides making fun of Vineyard's two post conquests, you should have the power to say it is not recongized as legit. I mean come one, 750,000 men and 7,500 tanks roll into Jordan and "catch their military with their pant's down?" I don't think so, surely Jordan is smart enough to see that many people coming at it from miles away and prepare.

i do realize my limits. I know I have a uber-large army but I rp them as mostly badly trained due to the fact that they have just been called up. About 33% of my army are non-reserve people with good training and about a tenth of that has excellent training. I know the limits my one country has. I have the suez Canal. That's about it really. I have enough food produced along the nile so I can feed about a quarter of my population. I import most of my items, which is why I earlier raised the price of using the Suez Canal. That's why I have not been involved in many wars. I cannot afford to lose trading partners. The only reason I'm in this war now is because I have allies who are trading partners and can help me keep my people alive. Alot of my troops will be using AK-47's or worse. The tanks are mainly old soviet design.

All Madascairan troops (25,000 poorly trained and armed men) are converging on the city of Antananarivo, their capitol. 200,000 troops who are engaged in humanitarian aid projects in their capitol were attacked. the 200,000 troops, under the command of Yechov Irkanichov routed the enemy and killed all 25,000. Insiders report that half of the bodies mysteriously died in long lines; their hands were tied behind their backs. All were shot by pistol fire in the back of the head. Vineyardian officials are dismissing it as mass suicide. Troops are seizing all cities from the theives as we speak. Hard fighting is occuring around the country side as small bands of militia are froming. The general Public of madascar is in favor of a vineyardian takeover, and already Madascraian Libiration front partisans are helping Vineyardian troops in the fight. Both Kopparsberg and TGSR will be granted moderator status of the Earth V message boards upon joining. This forum is so full that TWO AND A HALF PAGES WERE POSTED IN TWO HOURS. This is ridiculous. We NEED order.

Anyone who truly wishes to RP in Earth V will go to the new forum and cease all activity on this NS forum.

Earth V is full. No new members will be dissuaded from joining simply because the international incidents board stops humming. The maps and claims board alone generate enough attention.

Earth V is degenerating, much to my dismay.

TGSR is nowhere to be found. He's supposed to moderate this war, and Earth V. I'm starting to think TGSR has abandoned Earth V for his new Earth Greece.

I really don't want to have Earth V become a ghost town because we have some good RPers here, including Mauiwowee, Kopparbergs, Norleans, Whittier (he does write more than 1 paragraph RP), Tenebriocosis, etc.

We MUST not let Earth V become a god-mod fest, or let it fall apart. We must keep Earth V alive.

I am prepared to assume another Earth on my shoulders, and re-new Earth V, and keep everyone claims and stuff in Earth V, and continue from there. I'll be Mr. Atlas times two if need be.

We have invested too much RP time and effort to let it all go to waste.

Don't get irritated, it has long been the rule that if land is unclaimed by anyone, after you make your intitial claims and have them recognized, you can invade and RP the conquest of unclaimed land. You claimed the British Virgin Islands intially, but then RP's went on and on and you didn't post anything (Hell, before he quit, Dyetalimide (or something like that) RP'd and invasion of some sort in the Virgin Islands and you didn't react as I recall). Vineyard and Whittier started an RP invasion of the unclaimed land and after they did, you said you wanted Madagascar, since they had already begun the RP of it, that means you have to RP an invasion to take it unless they'll give it up via negotiations - they are not getting favored treatment, they didn't just "claim" the land like a new player, they invaded it.

4. The "map" thread is not the official thread to base claims on. Koppars doesn't update all the maps all the time, only as he has the ability to get to it. Look at the Master List in the original Earth V thread to see if something is claimed or not (I'll confess though, I don't know what it says about Madagascar).

5. RP invasions and conquests of unclaimed or claimed land, that is what you need to do now. With your population, I'd say you could give Vineyard and Whittier a run for their money if you really want Madagascar. You could also offer to buy it from them or negotiate some other deal.

P.S. Vineyard has irritated more than one person, hell he nuked one of my islands (though, admittedly, only after I nuked his naval fleet at sea).

Deep inside the Rocky Mountain Range in the centre of the powerful nation of Sharina, several nondescript mountains arched towards the sky in giant claws and teeth of stone. Time passes by quickly and slowly for the mountains, depending on perpsective. For this instant moment, history was to be made both in short term and long term timescales.

To the mountain, the moment would only take a nano-second if its lifespan was compared to the creatures inhabiting underground caverns deep inside the mountain. To the Sharina personnel inside the caverns, the moment appeared to drag onto for an eternity.

Inside one room of many inside SharDef HQ #14, a massive flatscreen screen was mounted on a massive wall, accompanied by several smaller screens with different images and symbols displayed on it. On the gigantic main screen, a large map of an stretched out island situated just below the tip of a peninsula was displayed. On the map two very simple symbol arrangements were shown in bright red. The first set of symbols in the Sharina language reveal the name of the isle to be Cuba. The second set of symbols was constantly changing in a sequential and logical order. To the Sharina personnel staring at the display, the set of symbols revealed numbers.

It appeared as if all the Sharina people had been perfectly entombed, or frozen instantly in time.

The silence of a million deaths remained heavy in the air. The only movement in the room occurred on the flat-screen displays, and the odd dust particle wafting throughout the chamber. The image revealed a man with a neatly trimmed goatee, dark brown hair, and an steely gaze with unsettling brown eyes that appeared to draw one inside them. The person in the viewscreen did not utter a word, or showed any visible facial movement, adding to the eerieness of the scene.

A fiery sphere hovered a short distance above the horizon, bathing the sea in a dazzle of orange, golden, and silvery colors. The clouds appeared to climb over each other in a scramble to escape the rising sun.

The peaceful setting was abruptly shattered as a small sound is heard. The sound grew louder and louder, until it bathed the entire area in an intense whistling sound. Suddenly, hundreds of projectiles tore through the air, on a course for the hills and heavy forest on the horizon.

A metallic object quickly made its way across the scene, rocking back and forth every half minute. Enormous flashes of light are seen erupting from the metallic vessel's four massive triangular turrets. One barrel fired right after another in each turret, adding to the massive storm of metallic projectiles.

A smaller vessel appeared several hundred meters from the huge metal vessel. The smaller ship lurched to a halt, and hundreds of brave souls onboard scurried around, preparing it for its mission. Suddenly, salvos of long metallic cylinders began erupting from the ship, with miniature fires raging at the bottom of each and every single one of the cylinders. The cylinders accelerated towards the land at the horizon, and disappeared as several sonic booms began overlapping each other, filling the scene with a constant barrage of unnatural sound.

Several dozen kilometers east and west of the apparent battleship similiar scenes were taking place. The events repeated themselves all around the huge isle of Cuba.

Massive destruction was on hand.

High above a beautiful sphere with green, brown, yellow, white, and blue spread across it, an unnatural object maintained its constant and rigid watch. The object, revealed to be a Sharina Satellite by the symbols emblazoned across it, began transmitting another round of sensor information, photographs, and telemtry to a massive structure hundreds of kilometers away.

In the streams of multiple wavelengths, shocking information had been encoded, mainly comprising of bits and bytes of a photographic nature. Once the photographs were reassembled through dozens of electronic processes, dissected coldly, and screened repeatedly for errors inside small computer mainframes onboard the large structure hanging over the blue Earth, the photographs began to take shape.

Depicted in the photographs, massive plumes of grey smoke could be seen rising from multiple points across Cuba. Several small orange specks showd garguantan fires raging across twisted and shattered remnants of once mighty fortifications, military bases, and bunker complexes.

Chapter 11:

The Calm Before the Storm

In the volatile late 20th century and early 21st century A.D, Sharina had grown from a small state bloc controlling the state of California in Earth #2, more commonly known as Sharina Alpha, to a large and powerful nation state that controlled the entire western coast of North America. Sharina enjoyed control over a diverse mix of areas, ranging from cold and frozen tundra wastelands in Alaska and Nunavut, temperate and decidous regions in Oregon, Idaho, and Washington, desert and drylands of Utah, Arizona, and New Mexico, and the deep jungles of Central America, including the states of Honduras, Guatemala, and El Salvador.

Sharina's population reached the billion mark during this period of rapid expansion and territory acquistions. This aggressive expanonist policy netted Sharina one of the most resource rich regions on Earth #2. The entire Rocky Mountain region provided Sharina with much needed massive quanities of resources including titanium, tungsten, iron, uranium, zinc, nickel, magnesium, mercury, copper, gemstones, gold, silver, diamonds, oil, bauxite, among others. These large resource deposits enabled Sharina to fuel its First Golden Age at the conclusion of the Continental Wars.

The Continental Wars ended with the annexation of Sasketchwan, and the sale of Alberta and Northwest Territory by the mysterious nation of Kormanthor. These wars provided Sharina with much needed boosts in its military, making millions of soldiers into veterans, and ensuring a stable war based economy.

These factors, combined with the resource deposits Sharina controlled, would allow Sharina to be prepared for the storm that was coming. The first Earth #2 World War.

Some historians argue that the World War was sparked by the battle at Israel, in which the nation of Kopparbergs attempted to annex Israel, and then several nations intervened.

Other historians argue that this was simply a skirmish before the true battle began in Europe. A dispute between the nations of Jonothana and Wirraway over ownership of the Switzerland region degenerated into a battle of words, then outright warfare. Alliances were created, as more and more nations got involved in the war to either preserve their lives, or in hopes of gaining new land.

While this tempest was occurring, Sharina engaged in its second stage of expansion, the conquest of Cuba and Jamaica. This would provide Sharina with much needed Caribbean assets, and a closer base of operations aganist the European conflict.

In the next chapter, this World War will be discussed in more detail.

We bring you the latest developments in Sharina's pre-emptive offense upon the island nations of Cuba and Jamaica.

Sharina High Command has ordered the assault on these two nations so to deny the Caribbean Sea to hostile powers, strengthen Sharina and its S.H.I.T. allies control, and prevent any European powers from gaining any sort of foothold in the Americas.

We have been recieving sketchy reports of infighting and escalating tensions in Israel and Switzerland. It is possible the powers involved in these struggles may have an eye on North and South America, and Sharina cannot allow that.

Defense of Sharina is paramount, and these two islands are the key to providing needed protection in the Caribbean Sea. Should the enemy gain these two large islands, then war in North America would be much more bloody. The enemy would have gained an base of operations to launch bombers, naval assets, and invasion forces within striking distance of Sharina, as opposed to having to cross 5,000 kilometers of ocean between Europe and the Caribbean Sea.

Yesterday, an enormous barrage was launched from our Caribbean Navy aganist all military assets in Cuba. Most active military assets have been severely damaged, if not destroyed outright, opening up multiple Cuban cities to ground attack from our Army and elite Apocatequil Legions.

Cuba is already in the throes of rioting and revolution, as the former Neo-Soviet government oppression and cruelty to its citizens has taken its toll. The Cubans have had enough of slavery, corruption, injustices, and suffering after several decades. The Neo-Soviet regime has proven to be far more brutual than the one led by Fidel Castro in other Earth's that Sharina has discovered.

Our forces have managed to land a good number of troops near the cities of Pinar del Rio Guane, Sancti Spiritus, Moa, and Manzanillos. These areas suffered the brunt of our naval barrages, as they were the least fortified and defended areas of Cuba.

Earlier today, we have captured the cities of Pinar del Rio Guane, Moa, and Manzanillos. Sancti Spiritus is expected to fall within this afternoon or evening. The drive aganist Havana and Santa Clara could begin within two or three days once we consolidate the cities we have captured and secured the areas around it.

You may be asking this question, 'Why has our forces been able to capture considerable Cuban territory within a day?'.

This is due to the fact that our forces had surrounded Cuba, and have the ability to land from all coastal areas all at once. What's more is that some of the rebelling citizens in the Cuban cities decided to aid our efforts once we supplied them with food, water, and blankets. They realized that one single act of kindness was far more than the former Neo-Soviet government ever did for them. In addition, most major Cuban military assets were incapacited by our massive barrage, rendering hundreds of Cuban tanks, aircraft, and armored vehicles burning wrecks.

Without our barrage, the invasion would have been a far more difficult and bloody one, because the Cubans would have been able to deploy the brunt of its armored divisions and aircraft divisions aganist us.

Keep in mind, this provides the true meaning to the word Blitzkrieg, a German word for 'Lighting Strike'. This has been our quickest initial invasion in Sharina Alpha, due to intensive pre-planning thanks to our Space Program, space station, and Sensor Satellites mapping out all Cuban assets.

In related news, our forces are preparing to attack Jamaica, as our naval assets are shifting position to support the attack. We have already begun to soften up the Jamaican defenses with air raids by our aircraft based off carriers and the mainland.

SIEIN Breaking News

The screen dissipiated and was replaced by a view of a podium with the Sharina emblem on it, and a massive Sharina flag draped behind the podium serving as a backdrop. A solitary man slowly made his way towards the podium with a nearly imperceptible bounce in his step as if he was happy about something. The man took up position behind the podium, and stroked his goatee as he took a deep breath to relax his nerves in overdrive. He turned his head upwards, then his eyes began sweeping across the crowd, holding a lingering gaze with various people in the crowd, expressing solidarity and a seemingly personal affirmation.

He raised his hands slowly, as the crowds in the large podium chamber as well as people who were viewing the drama unfold throughout malls, subway trains, commuter rail, inside homes, massive city squares, and assorted locales in Sharina grew silent. The silence extended for half a minute as the solitary man, apparently Sharina's leader, bowed his head in the traditional Vezan Vow, out of honor towards all the Sharinans that have suffered and died for the progress of the mighty nation throughout the entirety of recorded Sharina history.

Finally, President Rand Veristek began speaking in a brisk tone with a subtle hint of excitement hidden amongst his syllable pronunications.

"Greetings and Salutations, all.

I trust each and every one of you are well. I have just recieved word from SharTac that Cuba has formally issued a declaration of surrender an hour ago. Our military forces have ended all major resistance in Cuba, and the government in Havana realized that a prolonged war was an act of futility.

Our forces have already began the process of clean-up of the damage in Cuba. Our engineers and construction personnel have already embarked from our massive docks in Mexico to aid in the reconstruction of Cuba, and to make it an integrated province of Sharina.

However, this good news is tempered by bad news as always. Approximately 2,400 of our brave men and women died in Cuba, the majority from suicidal bombers and urban warfare in Cuba's major cities of Havana and Santa Clara.

We shall enter another Vezan Vow for these fallen heroes who sacrificed their lives for the Sharina Technocracy."

Thirty seconds passed as millions upon millions of Sharinans paid homage to their fallen heroes. President Rand Veristek bowed his head, with his brown eyes closed. After exactly thirty heartbeats, Rand opened his eyes, as millions of other Sharinans opened theirs one heartbeat after Rand.

Rand began speaking once again, yet his voice was quiet and respectful.

"With Cuba under our control, and its people under the process of being introduced to our excellent living standards, it strengthens our control and dominance in the Caribbean Sea. Our S.H.I.T. allies can rest much easier at night knowing our navy are patrolling the sea.

I am sure most of you have already heard about the invasion of Israel by Kopparbergs, as well as the tense situation between Jonothana and Wirraway over Switzerland. This could erupt into a dangerous war in Europe.

We must be prepared for the possibility of that war spreading to the Caribbean Sea. Hence my decision to secure Cuba and Jamaica, to deny the Europeans access to North America.

I am quite aware that some of you are weary of war, after these long years during the Continental Wars aganist Yevon, Petersage, and Castillanos. We must continue our struggle to unify North America aganist any aggression, and begin forging it into a mighty Technocracy that will stand the ultimate test of time.

We stand to gain everything through struggle, yet we also stand to lose everything should we stop our struggle. To put it simply, what does not kill us ultimately makes us stronger. We must continually re-forge ourselves into a stronger and better people and Technocracy.

We must stand tall and proud."

Rand drew in a breath, then shouted out three words in a commanding and grand voice.

"WE WILL PREVAIL!"

A roar of approval rose throughout the assembled crowd. Rand smiled as he uttered another sentence.

The President bowed amidst a thunderous cheer and applause throughout the Podum chamber. He walked slowly off the stage, while the cheer continued. Millions upon millions of Sharinans were unified once again in their purpose as they shared one thought, felt one emotion, and one belief.

A warm sandy beach shimmered under the watch of the everpresent yellow sun. Small waves gently lapped aganist the white sand beaches, creating indistinct patterns in the smooth sand. Palm trees gently shook their leaves as a refreshing breeze wafted through the trees. Everything appeared to resemble an island paradise depicted in virtually every tropical vacation brochure.

A loud whirring noise is heard as several massive transports burst onto the sandy beaches, and then suddenly large doors at their fronts opened with a tremendous clang, revealing hundreds of troops in black clad armor. The troops jumped out of the transport and began scampering up the beach, riddling it with hundreds of footprints.

Several more transports disemabrked their human cargo, as the first wave of transports grinded their way backwards, leaving massive skid marks in the white sand. Another wave of transports began their final approach, while the second wave of troop transports were closing up their massive doors.

The third wave finally arrived at the beach, then opened their doors, revealing a completely different cargo. An omnious rumble is heard as a gigantic block of raw power emerged from the transport. An enormous cannon emerged, as three sets of giant treads began descending onto the sand. The sand was crushed into even finer powder, amid sprays of water and sand particles as the treads propelled the gargunatan weapon forward. Several smaller metallic vehicles followed behind the giant cannon weapon.

The tropical paradise was no more. The sandy beaches were scarred by dozens, if not hundreds of tread marks, footprints, wheel ruts, and assorted imprints. It would take a considerable time for the beaches to recover as the waves would need to erase the ugly marks upon the pristine sands. The scene repeated itself across multiple beaches along the western edge of the large island.

The invasion of Jamaica by Sharina has begun.

Here is the latest in the Caribbean Wars. Our forces have seized three strategically important cities in Jamaica, within two days of landing on the island. The captured cities include Negril, Falmouth, and Santa Cruz. Fighting was suprisingly light, as most of the native Jamaican military has apparently been focusing their attacks aganist their own city of Kingston. Satellite photos have determined that there is a foreign force occupying Kingston, flying the colors of Vineyard.

Our forces are nearly 750,000 strong in Jamaica, as most of the troops have been transferred from our short Blitzkrieg campaign in Cuba.

In related news, Sharina has shifted its Arctic Fleet on a course for the Pacific Ocean to aid the undermanned Pacific Fleet. The Arctic Fleet is expected to take station off the coast of Alaska along the Bering Strait, the Arctic Ocean, and along the Aleutian Isles by tonight or early tomorrow.

Kasina looked off screen with a brief look of surprise. She looked back towards the camera and began speaking in a quiet voice.

"I have just been informed that three governments in the Caribbean has just announced that they want to join our Technocracy as states or provinces.

Apparently, the leaders of the Bahamas, Turk and Caicos Islands, and the Cayman Islands have chosen to join us due to our actions in Cuba and Jamaica. They have also chosen to join us because of our growing power in North America, and the extreme security and protection provided by us. They stated that they do not wish to have their people die in a needless war with Sharina.

President Rand Veristek will give an address to Sharina and these three new propsective states shortly. We will take you to his address right after these commercials.

Kasina smiled and resumed her newscast promptly, with her ever present friendly professionalism attitude.

"Welcome back.

We will take you to President Rand Veristek's conference right now."

(Fades into black, then the podium chamber materialized out of the blackness)

President Rand Veristek stood behind the podium, with a fatherly smile, in an attempt to instill an atmosphere of assurance throughout the assembled crowd of reporters and journalists. He raised his hands to signify the standard Vezan Vow, and once the short period of silence passed, he resumed smiling.

"Greetings and Salulations.

It has come to my attention that the governments of the Bahamas, Turks and Caicos Islands, and the Cayman Islands have announced that they desire to join the Sharina Technocracy. Their leaders and I have been engaged in talks to make the transition as smooth as possible.

They have geniunely expressed their desire to avoid unnecessary war, bloodshed, and destruction. They have come to realize that if we should go to war, far more of their people would suffer than ours. These three island chains have requested to join us for several reasons besides a peaceful integration.

First, they want to enhance their ways of life. They do not have sufficient healthcare, education, nutrition, and security aganist foreign aggression.

Shall we provide these things to the less fortunate? Shall we?

I say we will! We must show the world and other neutral nations that we do care about granting them first class lifestyles. People deserve the best life has to offer. Humans are humans!"

Murmurs ran throughout the crowd. Heads bobbed up, down, and sideways. Voices spoke to each other in quiet tones. Slowly, more and more heads bobbed up and down in affirmation. The voices slowly grew louder and louder, speaking as one voice.

Rand raised his hands to calm down the crowd before continuing. The crowd relaxed nearly instanteously.

"Second, they have clearly stated that they prefer our leadership, standards, and protection than other nations. They do not want to become a colony of facists, communists, or a dictatorship. They want to be fully represented, with their interests given equal consideration to say, Alaska, California, or Mexico.

Third, they want our protection aganist any foreign aggression, as several nations including Doomingsland, Wirraway, Vineyard, and Tenebricosis have clearly shown. They would rather be under our control than theirs.

Finally, they also realize that Sharina might very well reunify North America after the Great Crumble of 1963 A.D."

Thunderous applause could be heard throughout the chamber, as virtually every reporter, journalist, Secret Service, and various other personnel stood up as a single entity. Rand continued his speech.

"I am proud to announce the addition of these three upstanding island nations to the Sharina Technocracy. The islands of the Bahamas, Turks and Capricos, and the Caymans are now formally a part of the Sharina Technocracy.

We look forward to enhancing these islands to our living standards, security, protection, and everything that mainland Sharina enjoys.

Live well and prosper, folks."

President Rand Veristek sat in a plush chair, with his eyes closed while exhaling and inhaling air at a frightening regular basis. It appeared he was sleeping, yet this was revealed not to be so, as he suddenly spoke quietly, thinking somewhat loudly.

Vineyard in Jamaica. This could pose a problem, not in Jamaica itself, but on the world stage.

Vineyard is apparently a member of the UFSR bloc alliance, and what's even worse is the fact that we're supposed to be fighting on the same side in the imminent conflict in Europe.

However, Vineyard has made threats aganist another friend of mine, Virgin Incursion and her miracle of engineering, the Space Elevator. If Vineyard has a base of operations in North America, it would provide the UFSR an invaluable base of operations to launch an surprise attack aganist the heartland of North America.

This must not happen. Vineyard, and the UFSR by extension, must not be allowed to establish a foothold in North America. If I allow Vineyard to take Jamaica, then what message would that show to the world? A message that Sharina is a weak-willed nation, with no backbone. A message that Vineyard can take anything he wants, anywhere, anytime. A message that there is no unity in North America.

Again, that must not be allowed.

I must protect my Pacific coasts and borders aganist possible attack or incursions from the UFSR via Tenebricosis or the Siberian and Japanese regions. I must not allow a Pearl Harbor type of situation arise.

I have already ordered the deployment of thirty of Sharina's fifty spy satellites to keep watch over the Pacific Ocean, most notably the Alaska and British Columbian regions. I have also directed several satellites to observe my Arctic Sea holdings. The UFSR will not launch a sneak attack or send anything smaller than a matchbox into Sharina sovereign waters without me knowing about it.

Once you eliminate the element of surprise, then the enemy's most significant weapon is eliminated, reducing considerable damage and casaulties as my people will be ready to counter any invasion.

My Veris-Wall is on full alert, with anti-ship turrets, hundreds of Colossus Ultra-Heavy Artillery, Anti-aircraft batteries, multiple sensor platforms, among others at full readiness.

Rand took a deep breath, and exhaled the air slower than normal. He shuddered slightly as he began thinking about the next thing in his agenda, for it was a drastic and terrible measure, as it has never been done in history. The decision that may very well cost millions of civilian lives, as well as severe international backlash.

If the UFSR manages to breach my combined Pacific and Arctic Fleets, the aid from my allies, and the Veris-Wall then I only have one option left. The SEP, or the Scorched Earth Policy. This will indeed assure the destruction of any UFSR invading forces, as they will never see or expect it coming. Retaliation will not be an issue once the Scorched Earth Policy takes place, for once that happens, everything becomes nothing. We will stand to have nothing to lose, while the UFSR stands to lose everything should this take place.

It will not be the end of Sharina though, as it is spread across several Earth's rather than a single one. However, the SEP will cost Sharina its most large and significant parallel Earth colony.

I truly hope that it will not come to that. The SEP is Sharina's ultimate sacrifice. I am confident that the UFSR will dare not risk incurring the SEP action over a small Caribbean island that has very little in resources. Jamaica is not worth incurring the price of the SEP upon their heads, should they press Sharina aganist the wall.

However, one cannot be certain whether logic and common sense prevail in other nations for they are not a Technocracy government. The UFSR may just as well ignore the Jamaican situation in the interest of focusing their energies in Europe and Asia.

One must analyze the positive and the negative outcomes in every possible scenario. Only then may full strategies and plans be developed. Otherwise, it would be chaos as impromptu and usually ineffective stop-gaps or half-efforts take effect. Chaos must be regulated by order, and conversely, order is regulated by the amount of chaos. Without chaos, there would not be order.

Rand opened his eyes, and took another deep breath, releasing his stress and enormous burden off his shoulders as he nodded to himself. He began implementing several command strings and encrypted transmissions to his own military command, as well as his allies. He kept busy throughout the evening.

Big breakout into Nigeria


Late at night 10,000 troops finally mobilized and spread from the beach head into enemy held countryside. Over 700 tanks also made the move and were used to clear paths and knock out big guns. Revertromance figher F-35Ds aslso ran raids deep inside the country for most of the night and by the morning (taking only 100 casulties) the beachhead had been tripled.

By the morning however enemy resistance had stiffened to the north while the south was able to push into another town, and after an fierce fire-fight, take it.

Up north enemy T-72s had put up an line of defense on an ridge and stopped 2 attemted routes by Revertromance infantry and mortar teams. In both rushes only 2 tanks were directly knocked out by mortar fire and not an inch had been sucured. It wasnt until 2 hours later when an C-130 gunship could arrive, that the infantry continued to move.

Being tired from 2 days of combat both of the divisions took an nights rest and prepared to move again in the morning. During the night an counterattack woke many of the troops and close combat fight ensued with knifes and bayonets. The casulties for Revertromance had been surpriselingly light.

During the night enemy troops fell back and the towns of Port Harcourt and Oron were taken.

2 days later Warri fell to the 1st Armored Regiment. With an spearhead deep inside Nigeria the Capital was next on the list but 1,000s of more of the enemy stood in the way.

The enemy was already demorilized by bombing raids and constant attacks onpon its homeland, taking the capital would certainly end this war. The enemies will was already breaking and an few dozen had surrendered during the fight for Warri.

Tanks bust through an defensive line and smash into Benin City and the Navy also captors the port town of Lagos father to the west. The break out from the beachead is going staggeringly well, even to the point were logistics are having problems supplying the spearhead troops! It isnt to say that Revertromance has not been taking due casulties, 3000 at the latest count, and reservists from Cameroon had been flown in to replenish the battered forces. Yet they still press on.

The very next day an tank platoon captures Ibadan, an mere 70 miles from Lagos. Attack on the capital are being planned, as it seems, the enitre resistance has centered on protecting the capital.

The city hopping idea worked up by the minds of the milatary has worked flawlessly. This plan eeriely resembles the USA's island hopping stradegy during the 2nd world war.

Revertromance controls over 8 major cities already and has killed over 7,000 resistance fighters while only losing an estamated 700 with another 1300 injured.

Only one town lies in the way of the capital and considering none is left protecting it, the intire force is moving onto the capital but moving over 12,000 remaining forces and 695 tanks across the 120 miles to Abuja would take atleast 2-3 days to formalate

Finally the bombardment of the capital began and tanks started towards the city, in an attempt to clear the no-mans land that had created in the last day.

After 2 hours of artillery and the past week of bombing and missle attacks, the city was ripe for the taking.

8,000 troops had surrounded the city and attacked from all sides, with close fire support still firing the troops hit the city with fierce resistance, and the tanks were easy destroyed in the thin streets. People were firing out of buildings and poping out of sewer caps to fire machine guns and RPGs at radom forces.

With bayonets attacthed an mass onslaught on both armies met in the streets and clashed in an melee.

On the other side of the city, resistance booby traps, were being triggered and halting the advance into the city. Most of these bombs were powerful enough to blow an small building apart.

Tanks had spearheaded into the market sector of the city after 2 hours of fighting and held the postion until select special forces could be inserted by Huey drops. 50 men in total were droped during the chaos and sent through the streets behind lines to destroy supply lines and troop movements within the city. Resistance defenses started to collaspe to the infantry from the south east (biggest group) and they pushed clear into the market sector with the tank spearhead to regroup and head back out.

Close fire support had stoped and the guns were being repostioned to the north (ridge over looking city) to continue bombardment. The fighting was so intense at this point fighters were likely to be shot down so they were never scrambled. Even the supply C-130s were never taken into the city, they landed an mile away from the city and trucks from the division transported the materials into the war-zone from there.

Over half of the city had been taken by night-fall and so Revertromance forces dug in defensive postions along the line.

After an uneasy night, an earlier morning advance captured the city hall and parliment buildings. The heart of the country had been captured but movements to sucure the intire capital were still underway. Shortly after the parliment buildsings were captored an mass counterattack on the part of the resistance was launched but to no avail. Strange! There¨s no problem with Zifos. I've been there for a couple of hours now, and everything seems to work fine. Sharina, VirginIncursion, Mauiwowee, Norlenas, Vineyard has also been there.

I've had that issue too. If I clicked on the "user profile" stuff on the bottom of the small box on the upper left side of the screen ,it asks me to log in again and when I do, all is ok.

Some other members (me too at first) had also problems logging on. Just TG Tenbricosis and he will try to fix it.

What in the world is going on with Zifos? I was posting and it got slower

I still can't get on Zifos ... It's not my browser ( IE 5.0 ) because I downloaded a second browser ( Netscape 7.2 ) and I still couldn't get on Zifos using Netscape either. Tene could you please fix this problem?

VI, a couple of things.

First, even if you move to Terra, you won't lose much power because everybody else will lose much of their NS populations. I have 1.4 billion in NS and Earth V, but in Terra, I would only have 240 million if Tene approves my claims list.

Vineyard would be at like 200 million, instead of 700 or 800. TGSR, Whittier., Tene, etc. will also drop in population from 2 billion to around 200 - 300 million, I believe.


Second, Earth V will still continue. This Terra thing is an enhancement, a Earth where realistic RP's will take place. No more 2 billion people living on a small island, or 1 billion people living in Rome or Rhode Island. No more of that unrealistic stuff.




Tene, the problem with TGSR and Earth V is that it is here at Zifos. There has been very little advertising / action over at NS to introduce new people to Earth V.




No ... I am sick and tired of Tene thinking he is the Dictator of Earth V and Vinny is his sidekick. I will not agree to this rule! You are allowing them to ruin Earth V TG6R. I agreed to
the military rules under duress and now here you all are forcing another change. Sense you
all love vinny so much I hope you enjoy living under his and Tene Dictatorship. As for me I
am done with Earth V and / or Terra. I will do everything in my power to inform people on
Nationstates why they shouldn't join.

Just in case you don't get the ones at Zifos - you've misunderstood what is happening there - Tene has set up a NEW Earth, called Terra. It is NOT the same as Earth V and does NOT affect earth V. Earth V is STILL there. Our posts have NOT been erased. Zifos now hosts 2 separate earths, Earth V and Terra - feel free to ignore terra if you want. It has its own rules separate and apart from Earth V. go back and check Zifo's carefully - you'll see Terra at the top and Earth V at the bottom - separate games with different rules.
