So your action may change as well... meaning that your knowledge must be different... meaning that your action changes....

You cannot possibly know with certainty what you will do before you do it, meaning that you can't possibly know with certainty what effects your actions will have on the future, meaning you can't possibly predict anything that could conceivably be affected by you in the future.

nope, i don't know anything about bass parts, and despite playing for nearly 14 years i only know about 5 chords and have no rhythm for strumming. i can read musical scores and do finger picking and all the hammering and whatnot, but that's where my abilities end.

I don't think that I'll be able to tolerate life without inordinate numbers of pretty people, friendly/prompt service, umpteen hours a week spent in cafes, and more than two or three alternative options on a night out.

Still, on the downside, I have only heard one Welsh accent since I got here. Those always made me feel nice and fuzzy. And also crave rarebit.

I must say that, in stark contrast to their constant attempts to label the English as, well, you know, I have encountered a lot more whinging from Aussie blokes than from anyone else I've ever met in my life. Especially over the cricket... even though they keep winning.

Still, frankly, I could live without the blokes. There's more than enough Irish here to keep bar.
