It's an art form in itself. You need real cheese that's yet to be worked (usually bought in ball form), high-grade flour, fresh tomatoes, fresh toppings, and quality meats (not pre-prepared, packaged crap). Meh.....most of my talents are related to things I either have no way of proving without divulging personal information, or are not available for online consumption.

I'm an active, employed screenwriter, which is rare for someone my age, but I have no intention of providing a writing sample. I helped rebuild part of Dili, East Timor in early 2000, but I have no urge to pull a Bob Vila and share my carpentry/rock working skills. A verbal how-to isnt particularly impressive.

I did, however, take some pretty fantastic pictures while I was in the service. Many of these made various publications in and out of the military sector. I'll post what I have, and if you need verification that I indeed know how to functionally use high end cameras/camera equipment, just ask. I'll also provide some pictures I've taken on the Channel Islands/Santa Barbara/New Zealand (South Island) and East Texas. They're not all the largest scans, but they should get the job done.

In the earlier ones I'm actually watching myself on the screen, but you'll note in the later ones I start to look up at the cam. I'm pretty sure you don't believe me, but maybe look closer at my eyes. They're fixated, not scanning.


And I don't get the thing about the ear. Do I have big ears or something? I know this is a sexiness contest, but does it not occur to you that it's kind of rude to loudly point out people's phyiscal flaws and make crude jokes? I don't know why you and everybody else is being such a jerk about this. It kind of makes me consider withdrawing from the contest. There's no reason to participate if everybody is just going to treat me like crap.

As an aside, I saw a TV show a week or so ago, and one of the girls in it really reminded me of you. It was made stranger when I remembered you're an actor, and that you're Canadian(the show was Canadian too). You don't have big ears sweetie, and even if you did it wouldn't be a big deal. We had a contest like this last year and a girl swooped in and said that all the contestants were ugly and pointed out various flaws and it was pretty unpleasant all around. I lost my cool, which I don't intend to do again because I guess it was her opinion and if I choose to post my picture I also choose to accept criticism should it be coming my way. I think you're lovely and you should just be listening to those of us that love you. <3

I have a talent! It would be quite hard to prove...and I suppose it would not be considered a talent by many....

You don't have big ears sweetie, and even if you did it wouldn't be a big deal. We had a contest like this last year and a girl swooped in and said that all the contestants were ugly and pointed out various flaws and it was pretty unpleasant all around. I lost my cool, which I don't intend to do again because I guess it was her opinion and if I choose to post my picture I also choose to accept criticism should it be coming my way. I think you're lovely and you should just be listening to those of us that love you. <3

I am an actor. (Oh no, that just lost me all my votes!)

So, TC's official talent becomes making offensive videos as a character she is clearly not. If you don't want to watch all of them (of course you don't), the best one's are probably Computer Lab, Politics, and Public Transit. And if you're an actor/theatre person, Drama Queers is hilarious.I loved the "twitchy eye" in the Public Transport one. Hee. :p

I'll continue judging as long as this contest continues, but... Well, I don't see a stream of enthusiasm from the contestants here...
Meh.....most of my talents are related to things I either have no way of proving without divulging personal information, or are not available for online consumption.

I'm an active, employed screenwriter, which is rare for someone my age, but I have no intention of providing a writing sample. I helped rebuild part of Dili, East Timor in early 2000, but I have no urge to pull a Bob Vila and share my carpentry/rock working skills. A verbal how-to isnt particularly impressive.

I did, however, take some pretty fantastic pictures while I was in the service. Many of these made various publications in and out of the military sector. I'll post what I have, and if you need verification that I indeed know how to functionally use high end cameras/camera equipment, just ask. I'll also provide some pictures I've taken on the Channel Islands/Santa Barbara/New Zealand (South Island) and East Texas. They're not all the largest scans, but they should get the job done.

Actually, Cluichstan, they're improv. I know I can't prove it to you, but there was no scripting involved. In the earlier ones I'm actually watching myself on the screen, but you'll note in the later ones I start to look up at the cam. I'm pretty sure you don't believe me, but maybe look closer at my eyes. They're fixated, not scanning.


And I don't get the thing about the ear. Do I have big ears or something? I know this is a sexiness contest, but does it not occur to you that it's kind of rude to loudly point out people's phyiscal flaws and make crude jokes? I don't know why you and everybody else is being such a jerk about this. It kind of makes me consider withdrawing from the contest. Anyways people, sorry for the lateness of this reply/second half of my entry, but I'm currently in Virginia Beach visiting with the fam, and, as vacations go, I'm enjoying the company and weather most of the time instead of tapping away on a computer.

With that said, I thought about what I could put as my talent, and, in all honesty, I wanted to put a recording of me playing a musical instrument. However, I don't have my piano with me, nor my bass guitar. So that option is out.

I figured I'd just put some of my poetry on here, simply because it's simple to do so - written word to typed post is an easy transition. So without further ado, I give you all the poem I wrote for my lovely girlfriend who, for the record, is unknowingly going to be PROPOSED to in four days!!! :D:D:D:D:D

Two Hearts

We are simple travelers, you and I,
two hearts journeying on the often broken path of life.
"Companions of spirit," you would always say.
We bring to each the other a precious comfort;
the intimate peace of knowing that
we are truly wanted simply for who we are.

And yet, to both of us,
something has always seemed amiss;
a foreboding in the deep recesses of thought
like a single raincloud in a clear sky.
"We could never fully love each other,"
we mournfully lament,
"for we do not fully know each other;
We barely even know ourselves."

We are as lonely wanderers
lost in the crowds of our own inadequacies,
longing, even yearning for that which is undying:
the sweet union of the Soul.
Ever-reaching, we never grasp it;
Ever-starving for it, we continually go hungry;

I figured I'd just put some of my poetry on here, simply because it's simple to do so - written word to typed post is an easy transition. So without further ado, I give you all the poem I wrote for my lovely girlfriend who, for the record, is unknowingly going to be PROPOSED to in four days!!! :D:D:D:D:D

Two Hearts

We are simple travelers, you and I,
two hearts journeying on the often broken path of life.
"Companions of spirit," you would always say.
We bring to each the other a precious comfort;
the intimate peace of knowing that
we are truly wanted simply for who we are.

And yet, to both of us,
something has always seemed amiss;
a foreboding in the deep recesses of thought
like a single raincloud in a clear sky.
"We could never fully love each other,"
we mournfully lament,
"for we do not fully know each other;
We barely even know ourselves."

We are as lonely wanderers
lost in the crowds of our own inadequacies,
longing, even yearning for that which is undying:
the sweet union of the Soul.
Ever-reaching, we never grasp it;

well, since our past exploits together are so extensive, it's really rather unfair to just ask for a general reminiscence. you need to offer some basic starting memory from which i can jump off*. it's like when you bump into somebody you haven't seen in years and they ask what you've been up to. the real answer is some massive complicated story, and so instead you just say "not too much, how about you?"

as for you future ii, what i see is a fun-filled day at the waterpark which only goes wrong when you notice that the water in the splash pool at the bottom of the slide seems unseasonably warm. but don't worry, that'll wash right off.

i'm not really sure. you might want to check what file type it's saved as though. putfile might not support some file types, although it takes .wav and .mp3 cuz that's what i have stuff uploaded as.

Of the women Akai Oni and Carisbrooke have yet to submit talents. Of the men Kanabia, German Nightmare, Pure Metal, Potarius, Strathcarlie, Skibereen, The Metal Horde, Pyschotika, Delator, Kiryu-shi, Cruxium, Atsetaro, Lunatic Goofballs and New Stalinberg have yet to submit talents.

With so few actually talents actually entered this portion of the contest may be scrapped entirely, as may the third portion. If I decide to scrap the rest of the contest I'll make a new thread for the voting on the top ten men.

Couldn't you run into some sort of negative feedback? yanno, seeing the future leads to you making the opposite discion which begats a future that leads you to make the previous decision, etc?
