I live down the beach a bit and sometimes walking down here I'll catch a shadow out of the corner of my eye or hear a twig snap. Sometimes I just get that feeling, the one you get when someone's watching you.

*Will's head was pounding when he woke up in his cabana... What happened last night? He didn't remember much...drinking some rum and singing that song with Orchid and then a blank.... Carrying his clothes he went out to the shoreline, dropped them in the sand, and then ran out and dove into the surf. The cold, salty, water stung but was refreshing. Emerging from the water he shook himself off. Stretching his arms wide he stood transfixed as the sun rose above the horizon and dried off his body. Slipping on his clothes he made his way up to the club.*

Drying herbs hang from the rafters; stacks of books were piled on a small desk with several opened or bookmarked. A telescope sat on a tripod by the window. Several pairs of boots and shoes lined the wall. A rifle and several types of blade weapons were hung by a peg on the back of the door. Covering her with a finely-woven blanket of alpaca wool. He lit a small lantern and set it on the desk so she'd have some light when she woke up. He returned to the bar.*

Krieges hand flew to his knife hilt. but as soon as he grasped it he frooze. his body began to shake like he was fighting with himself.the sunglasses sliped down his nose revealing his eyes. his once Hazel eyes were now a poisnous blue color. and his pupils were slited and ragged at the edges. after a moment he released the knife and said, "I geuses I could have been more gentel." he pushed the sunglasses back up his nose.
