Raven sighed and stood as she did the lights at the club flickered out.

*The only light permitted was the inconstant flicker of candles spaced unevenly around the room. If one should try the electricity, they would find it inoperable. Beside the fireplace stood a figure draped in a heavy black cloak, with a deep hood which completely enshrouded the head and face.*

Raven slowly made her way back to the club, when she walked in side she pulled the hood of her cloak off, nodding to figure at the fire place. she walked over to the bar and started rummaging around in the dark in search of her glass.

his sightless eyes are clouded by a memory of a battle faught long ago.

Michelle walked out of her cabana, onto the beach and she looked out over the sea. She smiled, remembering that all her burdens would be lifted here. No one would ever find her, and that's how she intended to keep it. The people here knew her as Michelle and she would keep up this charade for as long as she could, or at least until someone found out about her past. She was determined to keep an open mind about love, allowing anyone to strike her fancy. This new man, Bob, was not likely to hurt her as much as she had been hurt in the past. She poked her head in the bar door.

*The sun was out when Jen arrived, shining brightly but the air still had a real chill to it. She knew instantly where she was, even though her real dreams, as she had begun to refer to them, were still visible through her eyes. She stood there, just outside the door to the club and shook her head, and slowly the images faded. She knew which reality was dominant, but she also was beginning to find out the strengths of each, and one strength was that she could learn from the club. She had finally managed to secure a little bit of charcoal, and she had drawn. All her knowledge had carried over, so she could learn. The problem was that she didn't know what to learn, or what could help her. Should she study philosophy or religion to find a way to escape pain and find her center at any point, or should she study the art of war and try to change things?*

*She sighed as she walked through the club door. She no longer felt the need to bow to the door, she knew that it didn't offer her freedom. It just offered a temporary sanctuary that very few could access*
