Eiree music began to fill the darkness, after a minute or so, they found themselves just inside the grounds of a large mansion. It was still dark, they could only make out the shape of the building. Lightning flashed overhead, light briefly th way up to the front door.

"Well, let's go then," Eamonn said. He put his hands at his side and found a revolver neatly tucked away.

"What's the objective here?" I asked, also carrying a revolver.

The maid didn't go the way she had pointed them and quietly walked off, walking rather fast as if she was in fear of her life. Eamonn raised an eyebrow and walked dow towards a door hidden in the darkness and knocked.

Nearing the windows they could hear the howling winds outside. Another howl joined it, somewhat like a wolves howl but darker, somewhat demonic.

"That's creepy." I said dryly.

Eamonn readied his revolver, he could feel the howlers near. "Just wait until you are up close to one," he replied. "The only thing howlers think of is tearing you apart, you have to shoot before they come at you."

Eamonn nodded and headed towards a door. The sound of shattering glass and the howl of a howler filled the air. Slowly he pushed the door open and jumped back incase a howler came at him.

The young Jedi breathed a sigh of relief and looked into the room. It appeared to be a conservatory, glass from above had been shattered and was now spread across the floor. He stepped further into the conservatory, holding up his revolver to prepare himself for anything that came his way. More glass shattered and a howler appeared in front of him.

"Fuck!" Eamonn swore and fired at the grotesque creature.

It stumbled back somewhat and howled at him. Eamonn fired once again, the howler was not going down easy.

My revolver barked, sending a bullet into the howler, then another one.

One last howl and the howler fell to the ground.

"Fuck, that was nasty," Eamonn sighed.

"Hmm. Pretty ugly." I said. "Only a rancor would love it. Four bullets. We're going to need a stronger weapon."

Eamonn nodded in agreement. "I don't think we get better weapons into later in the game," he then said. He looked down and saw blood on the floor.

"Somebody made a bad friend." I said wryly.

Eamonn said nothing and followed the blood. There at the other end of the conservatory was the body of a young maid. She had been torn open by a howler.

I took the other howler, and fired at him as well. One missed, the other three hit. If they get any closer, I'd have to resort to lightning...

The howlers went down and Eamonn breathed a huge sigh of relief and lightning lit up th conservatory. "Shit I hope we at least get the spells soon," he said. "These guns can't help us for long."

"Shit, Dan watch out," Eamonn yelled, he found himself without no time to shoot before it got to Daniel.

"Wha--" I spun around to shoot, but the Howler knocked me down, forcing me to use a throw to get him off, then shot him point-blank. "Damn, he stinks!"

"Besides, he has the total healthcare of the Kukai Foundation, he'll get everything he'll need." He paused for a moment. "And at least he can recover without Dan saying anything to him."

Wes said nothing and shot at their tyres. We wasn't exactly that good at shoot, especially with this kind of gun but he did try his best. Remy sat in the front passenger seat wondering what he could do.

By the time they had arrived at the bridge, they could see that the ship was out of hyperspace. Jr had already gone to his command post and was looking out to space with interest. Out in front was the Kukai Foundation colony.

"We're there," Eamonn said.

"That was fast." I commented.

"Yeah it was, we weren't in that game that long were we?" Eamonn wondered. He looked up to where Jr was talking to his second in command, Mary. His eyes then turned back to the colony in front of them, it appeared just the same as it had done on the telly back at the mansion.

"Nah, it's only been an hour." I said. "So we're here. The damage looks worse than on TV."

Eamonn looked down at his watch. "Yeah you're right," he said. "I was expecting it to take longer."

Returning his gaze to Jr, he could see some kind of worry upon his face. Maybe something wasn't right.

"What is it, Junior?" I asked.

Jr rubbed the side of his face before looking down at him. "We shouldn't have arrived yet," he explained. "We were sheduled to meet the Elsa here, but theres no sign of them."

"So then...where is it?" I asked.

"Probably a little late," Eamonn remarked.

"Possibly," Jr agreed. "Looks like they've taken to fixing the dome already."

There were a few robots on the outside fixing the glass.

The first Kurt knew of the fact they had left hyperspace was when he saw normal space outside the windows. He had still been sat flicking through the channels as Quatre had given him a back rub.

"We're there already?" he wondered.

"What's the usual FTL speed of the Durandal and the distance between the colonies?" I asked, trying to figure out something.

A screen appeared in front of them and an unshaven man in a baseball cap appeared. "Umm Jr, Sir, I don't know how to say this but the colony... it's gone," he announced.

This was all rather strange.

"Sensors say it's real," one of the girls mentioned.

Slowly the ship manouvered itself under the colony and pointed upwards. There was a hole in the bottom that appeared to be water, ir moved aside as the nose of the ship pushed through. Once docked, the ship could pass itself as a building in the centre of the lake.

"Well how about I treat you all to a drink," Jr said. "Then we can go about finding out what happened."

"Follow me then," Jr smirked and headed for the lift.

Kurt turned on the belt before he and the others followed. Jr lead them outside the ship and onto a bridge that led them to the shore. There was a quiet bar and he lead them inside.

"Order what you want, drinks are on the house," he told them.

The others ordered their drinks and they went to sit down at a table.

"We'll wait here until I'm told that the Elsa has arrived," Jr told them. "Then we'll find out whats going on."

"I think Lady Nocturne must have moved it somehow," Kurt said.

"But for what reason?" I asked. Technology can move colonies with ease nowadays, but what could warrant such a need?

Kurt sat back and gulped down his drink. "That's just the problem," he said, wiping his mouth. "We have yet to find her motives or even who she is. All we have to go by is the possibility thats she's Goa'uld."

"Goa'uld?" Jr gulped. There was a word he didn't like to hear.

"No way." Even I've heard of the exploits of SG-1, long ago. "When was the last time a Goa'uld tried dealing against the galaxy and won?"

"Here it would be nearly thirty years ago now," Kurt said. "My father was my age when Draconis Nightcrawlis went into a final battle with them."

The others didn't like the posibility of her being Goa'uld. Sith were bad enough, but a Goa'uld would be worse.

"Man. If the snakeheads are back and out for revenge, we got trouble." I folded my arms. And we're far enough from Coreworlds that it'd take a while for any response from the fleet. Even then, intruding upon DN with a warfleet's not going to be a nice thing to do.

"It's only a possibility so we may be lucky," Kurt assured him, taking a gulp of his drink.

"You sound pretty sure she is," Jr pointed out.

"The way she attacked Tortuga DN is just reminiscent of the way the Goa'uld went about," the prince said.

"By the way, do they still use Jaffa, or have they gotten smarter about warfare?" I asked.

"Ok. Kull Warriors?" I asked, knowing how hard they'd be to take down with normal blasters. No match for a lightsaber, though.

"We'll the scientists are still trying to find out as much as they can about those that didn't get away," Kurt explained. "Just as soon as they're finished we might know more about Lady Nocturne."

"Ok." At least we have a possible lead on this case. If they're Goa'uld, then finally, we have culprit and opportunity, which will lead invariably to motive. And everyone knows the ultimate Goa'uld motive: Power.

"Still we should not rule out any other possibilities," Jr then told them. "Otherwise we might jump to the wrong conclusion."

Jr looked out of the tavern window, looking up at the sky. He couldn't tell from there if the 'Elsa' had arrived or not.

"Yes Mary?" Jr said, still looking out the window.

"The Elsa has arrived, Captain Mathews said that he and chaos will meet you down there,"

"Very good." I said in an Imperial (British) accent. "Now we can start getting to the bottom of this."

Jr silently got up and walked over to the door. He leaned against the doorframe as he waited.

Kurt looked up. "Hopefully we can," he said. "It looks like we have a long investigation ahead of us."

"Well, I guess we'll have to eliminate what is impossible, so that whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth." I smiled, still in the accent. Huh, I sound like Sherlock Holmes.

"I hope we can eliminate the possibility of a Goa'uld in a Dark Jedi host," Eamonn sighed.

"That, my friend, is something we'll have to work on." I said, walking through the door.

The others stayed seated as they awaited their arrival. Jr continued to stand in the doorway, watching for them. His eyes noticed a lift over at the spacepoer lowering.

"They're on their way," he told the others, expecting that to be them.

Jr watched as the man they had seen on the screen before and a young silver-haired boy of about sixteen got out of the list. Ignoring Daniels pressence, they walked over to Jr.

So, this is the crew of the Elsa. I went back with the others and sat down.

"Oh boy." I sighed. Military knowledge would be a boon to anyone wishing ill on anyone else. With that, she could find weaknesses in the military and exploit them.

"So it looks like she wishes to take the colonies to gain a base before taking on Azazel's forces and taking Draconis Nightcrawlis itself," Jr said. "That's not good."

"Problem is, we still need to find a way to track her...or meet up with her at her next target." I said.

"So the thing is, we first need to eliminate what is impossible for her to attack at this time. Main planets, well-defended areas, the like. Then we need to narrow down colonies that could be used as staging points for a conflict with Azazel." I laid down strategy. "And we need to narrow further to a target that would most likely be in her sights."

"Well we can safely say she won't attack the Norns planet," Eamonn joked.

"She won't try Tortuga again for a while and she wouldn't stand a chance attacking the Exetergrecia Academy," Quatre pointed out. "Theres no point to attackin Hmiel DN because we all know whats there so that leaves Wundagore DN."

I said, pulling out my comlink. "I just need to make sure that any of Azazel's military won't be able to detect it while it's in transit to the system."

"Ok." I said. "Got the coordinates to the Wundagore DN system?"

"Yep, have them back on the Durandal," Jr said.

I tossed a datachip containing an encryption key that only Core ships can decrypt. It's an authenication code to use a Naval task force for black ops like this one if I need one. Royal Family members are given one when they are out in the field as Jedi or other military/paramilitary forces.

"Will do it right away," Jr said getting up, having caught the data chip. "Now don't get into trouble while I'm gone." Grinning, he headed back to the Durandal.

"Don't worry." I smiled. "I'll keep them under control."

"Pff, yeah right," Eamonn grinned.

"Welcome back Little Master," Mary greeted him, but Jr didn't reply.

Instead he walked over to the controls and put the datachip in before sending the co-ordinates of Wundagore DN to the 'Jurian Moonshine'.

The signal was sent into the holonet, then boosted so it could travel through the galaxy. Not long afterwards, Naval Command picked it up, sent it up the line to the Emperor, who smiled at his son's plan and approved it, bouncing the orders to the Jurian Moonshine task force to head out by Executive Order. As a bonus, he sent the Star Destroyer Firestorm task force after the Moonshine since it is rare that an Interdictor goes with it's escorts alone, being unable to fight off anything more than strike cruisers with it's relatively light armarments.

The two task forces merged at Atlantis, and jumped into hyperspace, when they will reach Wundagore DN shortly.

A message was sent back to the Durandal. "On the way."

Jr smiled and made his way back to the tavern.

"Cut the crap, Lieutenant, and get me the Captain, now!" I ordered, and I sucked in a breath. "Tell him Prince Daniel wishes to talk to him."

Recognizing the voice, the Lieutenant then turned nicer. "Right, kid. One moment."

"Daniel?" A gruffer voice said. "Your father told me a little of the plan."

"Yeah. Basically, we want to ambush this Dark Jedi flying a modified Ha'tak battleship and take her down before she causes more trouble." I said. "Since we now have an Interdictor, we trap her at sublight and force her to engage us."

"Very good." The captain smiled on the other side. "Well, let's get into position."

"All right." I said, then glanced at Junior. "Got a map of the system?"

"Yep, right here," Jr said, pulling up a map on the console.

"Ok." I said, then went back to the captain. "Captain, I would like you to project a cone that will trap the Pantera between the moons, the planet and the Interdictor when she arrives. Knowing Ha'taks, it'll take a while before she could retreat into hyperspace."

"Right." The captain ordered the gravity well crews to calculate the projections.

"The rest of the task force will microjump ten light-minutes (200 million km or so) above the orbitial plane, and do everything they can to stay passive and quiet until they get a signal to jump back and attack." I said, creating a Phase-Two on the spot. "Understand?"

"Clear as a bell, Daniel." Captain Horgan replied.

"Good. Let's get to work." I ordered, and shut down the coms. "Well, guys, now we wait."

The captain of the Firestorm chatted with Horgan for a little bit, then the ships jumped away, leaving the Moonshine alone. A bit risky, but that ten light-minute is but a short hop over a small sidewalk crack. In and out of hyperspace almost before the crew knows it.

Kurt soon entered the bridge, looking out at Wundagore DN, he sighed. "So how are plans going?" he asked.

"Ok. Poker, anyone?" I pulled out a deck of cards.

"I happen to like it, ok?" I said curtly, and began shuffling the deck.

"Rumour is, Kurt likes playing strip poker," Jr joked, to which the prince glared at him.

Mary looked at them from the command console. "Nothing on the sensors yet, Little Master," she said.

I sighed, put down a credit chip worth five, and then shuffled and cut the deck. I dealt two cards per player, and then we began the game.

"Hold on there, Jr. You can only have two cards." I said. That card went into the discard pile.

Jr shrugged and threw another ten on. Kurt however was a little less sure, he thought for a moment before saying. "Call."

"Showdown." I said. Let's see...
