Kurt started the engines. "We go down to the planet now," he told him.

Slowly the shuttle lifted off and flew out of the docking bay. Once through the atmosphere, they could see the city below.

"This is ground control, wait is your clearence?" came a voice through the comlink.

"This is Lt. Gruber, requesting clearence to land," Kurt replied.

"Yes Sir, clearence to land granted, have a safe landing,"

Kurt sighed with relief as he lowererd the shuttle down into the spaceport. With the others, he climbed outs.

"So where do you suggest we go first?" he asked Daniel.

"You want information about Lady Nocturne's ship, right?" I asked. "Let's try...the computer networks here. Where's that hacker kid?"

As Lord JWolf watched the challenger’s head get crushed, he just smiled.

That sucked, it was not a real fight. All that Cain is power and no brain. He said in his mind.

Valerie reluctantly stood, but only because everyone was kind of pushing her up. She refused to clap though, mainly cause she hated crowds, but also cause it's hard to hold an M60 and clap at the same time.

“But it could have lasted longer. I want to see a show and what that was a joke.” said Lord JWolf “I hope the next first lasts longer.”

Out in the arena, two dozen gladiators marched out and stood in front of what had been the royal box. The curtains open and Lord Azazel stood before them.

"Begin the fight," he told them and disappeared.

The gladiators then filled the arena with the sound of metal contacting with metal.

"Now this will take a while, oui?" Remy grinned.

"Good idea." I said to Kurt. "Let's find an arcade or something. Barring that, we could go to the bad side of town and see what the largest gangs may have..."

Valerie watched as the body count grew higher. She had blood splattered on her face, and Haush was sitting in a small pool of blood.

Lord JWolf was going to lick the blood off of Val’s pretty face but didn’t want to be kicked in nuts.

Val could tell that JWolf wanted something, she was pretty sure it was the blood, but wasn't 100% sure. She instead sat their, and waited for the blood to dry. She instead reached into her cloak and ran the tip of her finger along the blade of her knife, and flicked the blood at his face to test her theory. After the blood was off of her finger there was no sign that it had even been cut.

Using his finger to get the blood off his face then touching it to his tongue. Looking at Val, he said “Damn girl, you taste sweet.”

"Thats funny. I hate sweet stuff. I stick more to things that are bitter." She said, realizing how much easier it would be manipulate him sexually. She decided to continue chasing Dan though, as he would proove more valuable.

“All that bitter stuff you eat must have made your blood sweet then.” said Lord JWolf with a smile.

She formed a weak smile, and then twisted her neck, popping it.

Val wanted to squeeze the trigger on her gun. She wanted these people to leave. She HATED large crowds. She would have to deal with it though. She wanted out. Haush was feeling anxious to, definatly not helping with Val's trying to cope with the mass of people.

Lord JWolf was watching the fight and thought it was better than Cain's fight. Then he heard something Val's heartbeat. Sounds she about to blow up. he said in his mind. Placing his left hand on Val’s shoulder, Lord JWolf looked at her and asked “Val, don’t like large crowds. Do you?”

"Not at all, I was trained to keep an eye on my surroundings, crowds kind of kill that possibility. Too many people, plus Haush isn't terrinly into lots of people either, unless she can kill them, but that we have been advised against." She said reaching into her cloak, and grabbing a cigarette. She almost never smoked, unless she was really nervous.

“I’m watching out for us. Just chill.” said Lord JWolf. Becoming one with the Force, he could now watching over the whole coliseum. He ran his left hand down her back then to his side.

“Remy, can we go meet your friend now?” he asked.

"I know your watching, I am too. It's just that I've been trained more in stealth, sniping, and Wilderness survival. Part of that training is ingraining in your mind that crowds are not the place to be. As for Haush, it's just her natural instinct." She said after he slid his hand down her back.

“Just picture yourself in woods away for everybody.” said Lord JWolf calmly. "It works for my Blood Unit (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=7216673&postcount=5)." His eyes centered back in fighting arena. "I bet you would love my Blood Unit. They are personal my death squad." he added.

"You're right, I probably would like them. Sounds like something I'm into." She said forming a slight grin at the thought of pursuing her hobby, which she hadn't had much time for lately. Torture, captures the essence of a man, and breaks down his will. To be in a 12 hour torture session again, that would be heaven. Cutting into them, administering pain to them, showing them that life can always be worse. Instead she stuck with what she was good at, sniping, and recon work.

Ah - there it was. She had left some automatic functions to incorporate later - Sakura's spirit, or soul, or mind or whatever, had only just managed to transfer muscle control to her own long-unused body-functions mind sector. She obviously had no idea how to react to the male endocrine system... oh god. As he/she pushed closer Jenna suddenly realised exactly what Sakura had left under Alex's control. Where one mind part went, the others would follow - if she pushed hard enough at the same time... Damn, but this was going to be embarrassing later.

Never mind that. How much power was she going to need? She examined sakura's hold again - she was strong. Very strong. In fact, even with her little cheat code, Jenna realised she was going to have to tap her maintenance reserves. She didn't know if she had that much power in her... and she'd read awful things about people who tapped their life-force by accident.

'Oh well. Here goes nothing.'

She smiled sweetly at Sakura. "Yes, it does, doesn't it? Well, let us make it some what more interesting for you!"

Just before the word interesting she raised her hand, which was conveniently on her lap just below where Alex's body was pressing into hers, and at the same time her power - and with both, she reached up and SQUEEZED.

"What the hell!!!!!!!!!!!!!" yelled Sakura. "I...I...I'm losing control of him...Shoot...What did that brat do!?!? No...NO...NOO!!!

Instinctively, Alex's body rolled off of Jenna and onto the side where it curled up in the fetal position, as if to protect itself from further harm. Then suddenly all of Alex's convulsions and bodily movements stopped. From a medical point of view he appeared dead, no breathing or a pulse. His body laid curled up in a fetal position as the warmth slowly left it.

Alex stood up and found himself in a brightly lit endless space. The first thing he noticed was that he felt warm...As if he was being covered by a warm blanket.

"This...It's like the place I was in..." He paused as a rush of memories came back to him, such as the events at Martizar and many specific events that occured on the island. "Before I found myself...On the island...When..."

His eyes opened wide in shock when he saw a girl who was curled up on the floor behind where he stood.

"Sa...Sakura?"

Alex walked closer and felt a strange and sad aura surrounding her, threatening to engulf him as he moved closer. Fighting the wave of saddness and despair that rushed his senses once he had stopped in front of the figure, Alex knelt down beside the girl who was trembling uncontrollably and slowly extended his hand and placed it on the girl's shoulder. She was freezing cold to the touch. Attempting to fight off the cold and despair, the next thing Alex knew was that Sakura had lifted up her hand and placed it on Alex's hand.

"Thank you..." said the girl in an almost inaudible murmur.

Suddenly, the previous warmth Alex felt earlier when he had gained consciousness had started to return, slowly overpowering the cold. Just when warmth had returned to its full strength, a bright light had come over him, overwhelming his senses, covering everything around him in white.

"Alex?! Alex?!" Flick was shaking him, trying to wake him up. Jenna, meanwhile, was sitting on the bench, exhausted.

"Leave him a while..." she muttered. "Once I get a rest i'll try and have a look inside his head - I can barely feel your presence right now, even. What are you doing here anyway?"

She was about to launch into a detailed explanation of what she'd seen -- Val's weirdness, Murdock's new life -- and she was itching with curiosity about the present situation. But Jenna was plainly too exhausted for any give-and-take. For once, Flick found herself thinking of someone else's needs.

"Here, let me help," she said gently, taking Jenna's hand. She re-ordered Jenna's energy flows and managed a slight boost from her own depleted reserves. "That won't last long, but it should be enough for us to get the hell outta here -- if that's what you want to do, of course," she added hastily.

Remy opened the door and led them inside to a lavishly decorated room fit for a king. There louging on a settee was the large gladiator known as Cain.

Kurt and the others sat down, they prefered not to stand around.

"So do you know anything about a Lady Nocturne?" Eamonn asked.

"Lady Nocturne? hmm," Clive scratched his chin as he tried to recall the name, but shook his head. "No, I am afraid that name does not ring a bell. I will have to research the name and talk to my contacts."

It's a start, at least. I thought, as I sat down as well.

"It'll take awhile," Clive warned. "I'd suggest going out and having fun or something, you should probably stay away from the circus though. A certain grandfather of yours is there."

"Shit, he'd pick me out of the crowd easily," Kurt sighed.

"Yeah. Best stay away." I said. "Is Salazar down yet?"

Kurt shrugged and pressed something on his watch and said, "Kurt to Salazar, you guys down yet?"

"On our way," came the rather quiet reply.

"Theres your answer," the prince grinned.

"Good." I nodded. Everyone is in place, or nearly so.

Kurt nodded. "So I guess we should get them to meet us down here," he said.

"I'd better call for take-away pizza then," Clive joked as he sat down in front of a decrepid looking computer.

"Anything yet, Clive?" I asked.

"Not a peep," Clive replied.

"Oh yeah, her ships called the 'Pantera'," Kurt told him.

"Right," the nosferatu replied. "I need all the info I can get from you guys."

"She did have an army, too." I said. "Were there any distinguishing markings or anything on the bodies, Kurt?"

"Ah, an army," Clive muttered. "A good start."

"From what I've been told, so far any of them who had tattoo's have shown that they were just normal ones anypone would have," Kurt said. "Most didn't have any tattoo's at all."

I leaned back in my chair, trying to think of what else may help. The cupboard looks bare, though.

"The uniforms they wore were black weren't they?" Eamonn asked.

"As far as I remember yeah," Kurt replied.

"Ok, that narrows it down, just a little bit." I said. "Could be disguises, though."

"Uniforms are had to keep track of unless they have distinguishing marks on them like a logo," Clive said.

"I don't remember any logo's," Kurt said. "They were just plain black."

"Yeah. Just black." I recalled. "Ok, Salazar down yet?"

Kurt grumbled, "They've probably just landed," he said.

"All right. Be back in a second." I said, concentrating slightly. I 'ported away (no smoke) and reappeared in the spaceport, then took a look around for Salazar and co.

"Just had to be you didn't it," came Zathars voice, followed shortly by the sound of a wack. "Oww!"

"So where did the others go to?" Salazar asked, walking up to him.

"I'll show you." I said, beckoning an 'follow-me' gesture. I led them to the manhole in the alley where we first headed down.

I returned to the little house of Clive. "I'm back, and i've brought some guests!"

"Shit man, you got us down here with a nosferatu?" Finrod gulped.

Clive turned around and smirked at him, which sent a shiver down the boys spine.

"So how far have you got?" Salazar asked, leaning againts the wall.

"Nothing so far," Clive told him. "Early days yet, early days."

I softened my anger, but only just, and sighed. "All right. I'll hold off pummeling him. But know that he just ruined any chance of me ever trusting him and his cronies again! Stupid insular idiots. Can't they at least act tolerant?! You and Eamonn are the only guys I could truly trust around here, aside from Quatre and a couple others I knew from before. It's awful, really."

Namus suddenly yelled out in pain and slumped to the ground, blood flowing from his nose and ears. His eyes glazed over, staring into nothing.

"Shit!" Kurt yelled and leapt over to help him.

As the others kenlt down to help Namus, Elrohir stepped back away from them. His face had gone very pale and he was trembling. Another step back, he turned and ran out of Clive's lair. The others didn't even notice.

"What happened?" I asked, running over. Ugh. Looks like something burst in his brain. "Aneurysm?"

Namus' eyes returned to normal and he began blinking.

"A firewall, you know those things people install on their computers to keep hackers out," Namus said, finally sitting up. "Only this one was magical."

"Magical firewalls?" I said again. "We're getting closer, but how the heck do you enchant computers?"

"Finrod, Quatre and I will go this way, "That leaves Daniel and Zathar to down that way." The prince pointed to a tunnel that went into the murky depths of the lower sewers. "Sorry but you two really need to start getting along and Zathar is good at fighting vampires."

Zathar took out a gun from under his jacket and loaded it with wooden tipped bullets. He quietly ignored Daniel as they entered the lower teir of the sewer. Down here it was dark and dank, but every now and then forever burning torches lit up the dimness. He listened out for any sign of movement, but so far they had only found rats.

But it does stop all but the likes of Dracula or JWolf (meaning the Head Vampire around here will need a serious duel to defeat if necessary) from coming near us for a short time, like using a Force wall."

"Oh, having a knife sticking out of your chest kind of has the tendacy of making ones knee aim for fragile places," she said "especially when they are laying on top of you."

“That just makes me hurt listen to you.” said Lord JWolf. "After we finished all this stuff with that damn lady, we will head back to Earth and away from this madness for a long time."

It was strangely reminiscent of the first time everyone elses emotions had come flooding into her head, only in reverse - and this time she was just too tired to deal with it. That woman in white had rescued her last time - had taught her how to deal with it. But she had said she couldnot contact her again so...

The two girls in the room jumped, surprised at hearing the ominous voice, even though Jenna did say Sakura was gone. Suddenly a bright light filled the room, when it the temporary blindness that swept the girls passed, Sakura appeared as an apparition to the girls. Sakura, dressed in a long white gown stood next to Alex's body and faced Jenna and Flick. A bright aura seemed to be radiating around her.

"Jenna...Flick...How are you?" said Sakura in a calm and friendly tone, as if the earlier incident had not happened.

Jenna sat back onto the couch with her drink. She really had no strength to panic. "What do you want now? A drink?" She gestured to Flick, who had the vodka. "Have a shot on us. Or can't spirits drink spirits?" She giggled hysterically. "Ah, man. Excuse me, I need to get drunk. Adrenalin high and stuff."

She then drained the bottle of brandy.

"Err..." Sakura stared at the two...Apparently drunk girls. "I would...But..."

The lights on the train flickered.

"In the films, that's always the first sign of trouble," a woman near them remarked.
