After she finished with that she pulled on some woodland pattern MARPAT (http://www.recon.net.pl/equip/marpat/pants.jpg) pants, and a plain black shirt. She grabbed her FNP90 and stepped back into the main part of the ship. She put the gun back with the others and grabbed her MOLLE vest.

Upstairs looked rather less modern. The walls were painted a dull blue colour down to where the skirting board was. The carpet was a dark red in colour and Daniel found himself faced with five doors and another flight of stairs that led to the floor above.

Behind door number two was a bathroom, there was another door in there that looked to head into the bedroom.

Outside, the guard was still at the gate. His back was to the mansion, nothing else seemed to be out of place.

Back inside, the others were trying to get Elrohir out of his catatonic state. However their efforts were not going well.

"I say we fry him right now," Finrod said, holding a flame over one hand.

I barely noticed the others, but my heart sank as I took a glance at Elrohir as I slammed the front door shut. Walking around what amounted to a forest on the grounds, I clenched a fist, and struck a small tree so hard, it broke audibly in half, so furious I was with myself. I noticed blood dripping from my knuckles, but I didn't care about it. Then I hopped into another tree, still hot with anger. Why! Why do I always have to mouth off like that! Why can't I just keep my trap shut around that guy?!

A car drew up at the gates, the guard looked inside and nodded. The large iron gates opened up and the car drove through. No one inside seemed to notice.

I sighed as I wrapped a bandage around my bloody knuckles, wondering again whether I should just go back home and stop worrying about Lady Nocturne. If she shows up again, fine, send someone else to deal with her. I can't deal with these people if I keep on hurting Elrohir like that. Going home does sound like a good idea today...

The car stopped behind the limo and a blonde woman got out from the drivers seat. She walked around and opened the door for someone to climb out. The young looking, Elrohir lookalike, Jr stepped out.

"I'll be fine, just wait out here," he said. For a moment he checked the two guns he had with him, making sure they were loaded and ready should he need them.

He took a deep breath and headed inside.

"Come on Elrohir, snap out of it," Kurt said, almost pleading but it was of no use.

His eyes just stared out into nothing.

I looked over the mansion and noticed a car, temporarily bringing me out of depression. "Interesting."

I hopped out of the tree, whistling quietly at my own strength when I noticed the downed tree, and headed back towards the mansion.

"I don't like it when people enter my property without permission," he said and looked down, seeing Elrohir still in his catatonic state. "Whoa." He jumped back at the sight of seeing someone who looked exactly like him, lying motionless on the ground.

Noticing the people (probably guards) in the car, I decided to teleport in. But upon reappearing with a crack, I noticed a standoff of sorts.

"I..." I tried to say something, then stopped. He does have a point. To shatter a person like that, they probably forced him to watch as they killed his family and then finally went after him. In that situation, even I don't know what I'd do. I could guess, anywhere from using the Dark Side to kill all of the murderers, or withdraw into a shell. Probably go Dark, knowing my own family history of encountering the Dark Side and occasionally using it at some point in their lives. But Elrohir is different, probably been more innocent than most before the men killed his family, completely helpless. The memory sent to me was a bit foggy, but I could see how horrible the deaths were, of his parents and his siblings.

I smiled coldly. If Elrohir were to overcome his dark past and he must, somehow, I know that if any of the poachers lived and sought him out again. they'll be mindfragged they way they did to him. Or fried by electricity and fire, then shot, then arms and legs cut off, then mindfragged with his memories over and over until death claims them.

One of the surgeons who had been operating on Elrohir stepped out.

"How is he?" Jr asked.

"He will recover," the surgeon told him. "But he'll need rest, lots of it. He'll have to spend at least a week in hospital."

Kurt didn't like the idea of having to leave Elrohir here any longer then they had to, but it appeared he had no choice.

The blonde woman got in the drivers seat and drove away from the hospital. Looking out of the window, he saw them taking Elrohir up into the back of the ambulance. He sighed.

Soon they were going through the gates of Jr's mansion, looking through the front windscreen, Kurt shook his head. Quatre was stood beside a bush that seemed to be smoking somewhat with a fire extinguisher in hand.

Kurt nodded. "A modified Ha'tak mothership," he explained. "We think it's called The Pantera, it has that word on the side of the ship."

Something upon Jr's body beeped and he reached inside his threnchcoat and pulled out a communicator. "Yo chaos, long time no hear," he said into the communicator. His face became worried as he listened to the communicator.

Jr's eyes closed, bad news apparently. He put the comunicator away, when he opened his eyes again, he was looking directly at Kurt. "The Foundation base was attacked by a modified Ha-tak mothership," he said. "The word Pantera was seen on the side."

"A break." I sighed in relief. "Where is this Foundation base?"

Jr eyed him, he didn't like the idea of the attack being 'a break' as the Jedi had put it. "The Foundation is a colony further out in space," he replied.

"Ok." I said. "A little far out, but if...we were to advertise some kind of bait to lure Lady Nocturne...you think that could work?"

Jr turned to go back inside. "Do what you wish, " he said. "I have to see the damage for myself."

Kurt and Quatre headed into the mansion as well. Jr had turned on the telly and had flicked to a private Kukai Foundation channel. On screen was an image of the colony in flames. It looked as though the glass dome covering the colony had been shattered but a force feield was keeping the glass up.

"If it wasn't for that forcefield, they would all have been sucked out into space," Jr said, his eyes fixed upon the screen.

"You going there?" Kurt asked.

Jr just nodded.

"Then we're coming with you,"

"Well we are now after the same enemy," Jr said, placing his hands in his pockets. "You can come, but on two conditions. One, these trouble makers stay here, I would rather they burn down the mansion then blow up the Durandal and two, Kurt take off that silly image inducer."

"All right, if that's all, let's go." I said.

"Quick before the others come downstairs," Kurt grinned.

Kurt sighed and looked toward Jr, who just shrugged at him before heading out to the back of the mansion.

Out back, another car was waiting for them. Jr lokked over his shoulder at the others. "Sorry, have to go to the spaceport across the city," he said and climbed aboard.

Jr picked up speed in the car and flew out of the backgates, cutting up a driver who honked furiously at him. The grin on his face widened. "I know how to drive," he said. "I just like driving fast."

Kurt reached down and switched on the belt. "Sorry Jr, I just have a feeling I should have it on," the prince explained.

I scrambled to put my belt on. "And stop driving so recklessly! You're worse than Kurt!"

Jr burst out laughing as he took the on ramp for the motorway. "Hey I've seen those bikes you Jedi usually ride," he said. "This can't be anywhere near as bad as one of those."

"Oh and the one called Finrod is apparently a fire bug, make sure he keeps away from the kitchen." He then laughed as he put away the communicator.

"I'm next in line to the throne, but the Masaki Royal Family isn't the snooty type, and I don't advertise that little fact much." I said. "In fact, a lot of us Masakis and other rich families train harder than your average boot camp, because of the random assassinations and kidnappings and whatnot. Even the kids learn to fight almost as soon as they walk. It helps if you're Force-sensitive, too. If you're not, you're either inducted into the Ninja Academy in the Konoha System by age 10 to learn ninjutsu, or join the Youth Scouts at the same age, which is like Marine Boot Camp Lite. Either way, you're set for life, and though bad guys don't stop trying, they don't last long when they target a Royal Family member." I smirked.

Kurt sighed, he'd too been next in line for the throne. Sooner or later the Norns had said he would take throne, he hoped that day would come soon. However knowing his past dealings with the Norns they were going to torture him some more.

"Sounds like the Exetergrecia Academy," Jr said, he pulled out his two guns and began inspecting them.

"Pretty much, from what I've seen of it." I said.

"Well except for the dragons I guess," Jr grinned and put the guns away again, ready for when they should be needed.

On we went, towards the spaceport...and perhaps another clue to the Case of the Elusive Dark Lady.

Jr climbed back into the front of the car and retook the wheel as the top of what looked like a red ship came into view above the city skyscrapers.

"There she is, The Durandal," Jr said.

"Wow. It's...sleek." I said.

Jr nodded. "Esentially the main base of the Kukai Foundation," he said. "Can easily pose as a building here or on the the colony. Kinda like taking your office home with you."

"Guess we went to the wrong place," Kurt said, scratching the back of his neck.

"Yep," Jr agreed. "You'd have never gotten inside though, too heavily guarded even with my doppleganger."

"How big is it?" I asked.

"It's a kilometre long," Jr said. "Pretty spacious too."

He then drove down the off ramp and headed for the spaceport carpark. Since it was a private carpark, there were few other cars there. Jr parked the car and got out.

"A klick? That's pretty big." I said. Victory-class Star Destroyers are only 100 meters smaller, but they are the largest ship in our fleet that could go into atmosphere, and even they can't land (at least not intentionally).

"That ship really pisses all over physics," Eamonn commented as he joined them outside the car.

"Just to warn you know, there will be parts of the ship you will not be allowed to go to so just becareful if you decide to go wandering," Jr warned.

They passed a door labelled 'Holodeck', Mary said nothing about it as they turned down another corridor. The doors all had numbers on them, above these numbers were the words 'Guest room'.

"Here are your rooms," Mary said, smiling. "Enjoy, Little Master wants me back on the bridge so you'll have to settle in yourselves."

As she walked off, Kurt entered one of the rooms and found it to be just like a hotel room. There was a large double bed, a door that led into a bathroom and a large walk-in wardrobe. They didn't have a change of clothing however. There was also a tellly and a minibar.
