After hearing the gun fire, Lord JWolf’s right hand was on one of the Beretta 93R automatic pistols at the back of his belt. He upholster it but it stay in the duster.

Gun fire. Eight shots. thought Lord JWolf. Scanning the room to make sure it was not coming for inside. It was not.

“Eamonn, what is going on?” asked Lord JWolf.

Eamonn said nothing for a moment. "It's Salazar and some girl having a competion outside," he explained. "His mind against her guns, he won."

Murdock sat on the ground and looked at the sky, and sighed. "Yeah... so what now?"

Salazar sat down. "I dunno, I'm spent," he said closing his eyes. "Problem with making all those huge explosions is that it kinda takes it out of me." He then moved his head back and opened his eyes, looking towards the sky. "Almost killed me back on the island."

Murdock chuckled. "Heh, in the beginning when you first learned about your powers you nearly killed us all a few times if you'll remember. But that is in the past isn't?"

He turned and looked at Salazar who was still looking at the sky. "We all made some mistakes on the island, tried to betray one another a few times, but in the end we made it through. Not just through our special powers, but the powers in our hearts as well."

"I loved that island thinking back on it, so mysterious with different terrain, one half was like a tropical jungle, the other half was like volcanic rock and a lone mountain," He said.

"Yeah it is," Salazar agreed.

Behind them, Quatre joined Kurt.

"Still what is in the past shall forever be a part of us," he then said.

"Well, Kartion, time to get back in the party." I smirked. "Here's a little something I discovered a few months ago."

CRACK! I disappeared from the bathroom.

"Shit!" Eamonn swore. "Do you have to do that? You're as bad as Kurt is."

Murdock looked at Quatre. "True true, we are made of our past experiences. But there are two words that can help us get rid of a mistooken, or bad past. Forgetting, and change. We can forget a specific event, or we can change everything so it was as if it never happened. I am not one to beleive in fate although it seems like I should, but I figure based on our screw ups in past we can correct the future."

"Ok, Sal I guess we found an advantage to guns, they don't tire as quickly as the mind." Val said holstering her gun.

"Shit!" Eamonn swore. "Do you have to do that? You're as bad as Kurt is."
"Good, that means I'm getting the hang of it." I chuckled.

"Hello, Daniel." said Lord JWolf as he turn around to face him. "Do you want to help me and Eamonn with something for Kurt?"

"Good, that means I'm getting the hang of it." I chuckled.

"I just need to practice on focusing my mind more," Salazar shrugged. "Then I won't pass out."

I concentrated energy in my hands until I could create an arc of lightning between the two hands. Sustaining it takes a great deal of effort, though.

"This is just about as far as I can create, other than this." I focused again, splitting the lightning into 3 balls of energy, and started juggling.

The cougar tackled him, and the two of them rolled around playfully for a little, Sage laughed as he did so and spoke to Val.

"Come here Huash," she said as she motioned for her cougar. "I know that, but while my gun way run out of ammo, but if he runs out of power it seems like he'll pass out, leaving him open to any attack. Besides I enjoy my pistol, but no where near as much as my rifle." As she finished saying this she tossed an empty shell into the air and pulled out her pistol and shot it before it hit the ground.

Val watched Haushinka climb a nearby tree, where she heard the sounds of a bird. Val knew the others had no clue about the birds. Shortly there after Haush came down with a small bird in her mouth, and dropped it at Val's feet

"Careful Dan," Kurt grinned as he looked around to where Daniel had just shown up. "You might just turn into me, blue fur and all."

Lord JWolf opened the door and walked. Guess who he saw? Daniel was about ten feet away from him and near Kurt and the others.

Sal took the bait, and was intently watching Huash as she stalked something. closer, closer, one more step, she grabed him and said boo, startling him greatly as she drew a line across his throat.

OOC: i'll talk to you about Sakura's power...it seems that both Sakura and Makie had powers...Alex has a small bit, but as far as we know, he has non at all...

Alex jumbled the end of the sentence into a series of inaudible mumbles. "Ok...What am I going to do now..." said Alex, in his head. Thinking impulsively, Alex quickly took hold of Jenna's hand.

"How about I get you a drink? Maybe walk around in the gardens or something and catch up?" said Alex, putting on a smile. "Everyone seems to be preoccupied with something happening on the other side of the room..."

"Oh, s%*&...What the hell am I doing!?!? Why can't I just say it???" Alex sighed but maintained to keep hiding under his smile.

Jenna relaxed un-noticeably - Val was alright. Maybe she was just imagining things. She focussed in on alex again and heard what he had said. Taking a closer look she realised he was nervous. Aww... how cute. She thought, nodding and starting to head towards the door. Then again, with what happened on the island, he might be nervous for a different reason...

They were outside. She turned to Alex - maybe she should say something? "Look, I... um." She stopped. "So, any signs of powers yet? As I recall you hadn't managed anything before... um, you know."

The others laughed at Salazar.

"So what's her name?"

"Powers? What are you talking about?" said Alex, who had looked up from the glass he was drinking from. "You...You know...I was thinking...What ever happened at the island? It was like over night you changed...You sort of became...More distant?"

The only things Alex remembered were waking up and finding himself on a beach at the island and Sakura suddenly disappearing from his head and the voice that said something about portals. He wandered around a bit then came across Jenna. Then it was further episodes of trying to survive in the jungle, searching for the portals, coming across several corpses, non of which appeared seemingly familiar, and runnning into several familiars like Makie, Salazar, Flick, Murdock, Valerie, and Angelica. But then it all cut to memories that had puzzled Alex to this very moment. Jenna, who had been close to him, began acting strange, acting very observant of him, as if she were trying to find out something about him. Everytime he had tried to talk to her, her responses became more distant, as if something else was on her mind. Jenna soon wandered off during one night. The last Alex saw her was just before he stepped into the portal.

After a blinding light had engulfed him as he passed through the portal, Alex found himself in the infirmary of the Kukai Foundation. The doctors told him that he was found by some hikers by a shrine in the outskirt forests of Miltia. From then, he returned to his normal lifestyle, student/heir to his family's corporation.

"What happened? Was it me? What did I do wrong?" asked Alex.

I think Flick tried to Fix it... but i don't know if it worked, and then you were acting normal again later. It was like you'd been posessed. Do you really not remember?"

Valerie could hear the conversation between Jenna and Alex, and about the comment of the knife, she thought, damn! thats where my knife went! she was mildly pissed at the time, but was glad she had two knives at the time, even if she may have lost the other one later

"Yeaa looks that way," Kurt said. "Doesn't make much difference, all the palaces and castles back in Draconis Nightcrawlis have their own ghosts."

Kurt looked disheartenly at the ground. "I'd hate to think what Azazel might have done to those ghosts though," he admitted.

"Kurt, check this out." said Lord JWolf as formed a dark blue lighting ball in his right hand. Using the Force, he start to change how it looked. First a head was formed then the body of humanoid. Arms and legs came next then hands and feet. The last part was a tail. The person was standing in Lord JWolf’s right hand and look like somebody near him.

“I call it Mini-Kurt.” he said.

Kurt smiled. "Looks good," he said. "I like the idea of a Mini-Me, just like in Austin Powers."

"One Kurt is enough," Salazar joked.

"You need a clone then. One half your size." said Lord JWolf "Just think a big Kurt and little Kurt transporting in and out all the time." He move his right hand and the mini-Kurt just hovered. It is about a foot tall and four inches wide.

An evil looking grin crossed the prince's face. "Think of all the trouble I could cause," he laughed.

Neither Salazar nor Eamonn wanted to think of that.

"A ghost." I raised an eyebrow in amused surprise. "And your name is Sakura, which invokes the beautiful cherry blossoms that bloom in a place called Japan."

"Yes, I know, Daniel...They also bloom in my family's gardens in Miltia..." said Sakura, as she floated past Valerie and towards Daniel Masaki. "I assume you have heard of this place, yes?"

Invisible, she drifted into Daniel's mind. She started to speak to him.

"I may seem like a ghost, but I am definately not a ghost..." she whispered. "And don't try your Jedi tricks on me...They won't work...I'm going to go now, so be a good boy..."

Sakura drifted off to wander the halls again, to find something interesting to do.

Jenna gasped. Everything suddenly clicked. Sakura was the one who had posessed Alex on the island... was she responsible for the other bits that didn't fit as well?

"Alex," she said urgently, "What else do you know about sakura? Anything at all!"

Lord JWolf started to make Mini-Kurt dance. Mini-Kurt was doing a county line dance.

"Oh man I am so never doing any line dancing," Kurt laughed.

"Yeah because you look funny doing it." said Lord JWolf. The Mini-Kurt stopped then started hovering to the ground. The Jedi Master was give it mind. The next thing than happen was 'he' took off running. "There you go, Kurt. Its got a mind of it on, now."

"Oh Kurt, watch out!" I giggled. "Mini-you is going to be very problematic these days!"

"Keep the cute guys locked out of his reach then," Quatre joked.

"I hope we have enough food," Salazar then said. "He'll eat the lot given the chance."

"Riiiight, and I'm the God-Emperor of Mankind." I rolled my eyes. 'I've seen how you eat, would make a nexu lose his lunch."

"There is nothing wrong with the way I eat," Kurt scowled at Daniel.

"It's not his fault, he takes after his godbrother," Eamonn grinned.

"Y'all, I don't think Mini-Kurt can eat because he is pure lighting. And I would not want him on me." said Lord JWolf. “It would shock you.”

"Oh thats a relief then," Salazar said with mock relief.

Mini-Kurt runs up behind Salazar and touch him on the right leg with his left hand. Sending a mild shock into him. Then stuck his tongue out at Sal.

"Oww, fucking lil bastard," Salazar cursed. "He is just like Kurt."

"Wouldn't want anything less," the prince smirked.

"Or more." I snickered.

"The universe needs more of me," Kurt grinned.

"Some of us wish otherwise." I said, TKing a can of Coke and opening it to drink.

"I'm happy with what I've got," Quatre smiled and leaned over to kiss Kurt.

"Whoa, avert your eyes people," Eamonn yelled, using his forearm to cover his eyes.

“Got a idea.” said Lord JWolf “Have Mini-Kurt go play with Kartion. Maybe it would make Kartion happy.”

Mini-Kurt touched Sal, again. Sending a mild shock into him for the second time.

"Oww, fucking little thing," Salazar scowled. "If it weren't for the fact it was made out of lightning I'd blow the fucker up."

"Oh lighten up Sal," Kurt grinned. "It's entertaining."

"Not for me it isn't," he replied.

"I'm happy with what I've got," Quatre smiled and leaned over to kiss Kurt.

"Meh, I've seen grosser." I said stoicly, still sucking at my Coke.

"Yeah, it is entertaining." said Lord JWolf. Then Mini-Kurt look over at Lord JWolf and stuck his tongue out at him before he turning and running into a wall behind Mini-Kurt. The wall didn’t let Mini-Kurt run through it. So, Mini-Kurt fell on his butt.

"Obviously not as smart as me though," Kurt grinned.

Flick wandered on the edges of the crowd. Since the island, she'd managed to tone down her resentment of the gilded children of the universe. It was foolish to judge someone on the basis of what fate had given them. What was important was what they did with it. But all these empty, aimless people ...

Like you're so aimed, eh? So driven to use your gifts? Fat lot you've done ...

Flick clamped down firmly on both her conscience and her critical nature. Nevertheless, she found it hard to understand why anyone would spend so much time and resources on a party. So some prince had turned 18; big deal. Like it was such a major achievement. But maybe it was, for him; she didn't know what he'd had to go through to reach that age. Anyway, if Salazar thought he was worth the trouble ... she'd learnt to trust his instincts about people.

The old Sal, eh? Her mouth quirked as she caught the familiar sound of explosions. So that's where he was -- and no doubt Murdock, too. Still blowing things up. Well, at least she could be useful there. These days, she could Fix energy-excess hangovers in the blink of an eye.

Onya, Flick. Cheaper than ibuprofen or paracetamol, and absolutely no side effects. But, despite herself, her spirits lifted at the thought of seeing the others again.

"Obviously not as smart as me though," Kurt grinned.

Lord JWolf watched as Mini-Kurt got up and run over to Kurt. Next thing you know, he touches Kurt in the legs then runs off and hides around the corner.

"Oww fucking..." Kurt cursed. "He is definitely Mini-Me."

Murdock woke up in the yard.

"Crap, I must have fallen asleep," he said as he stood up and looked around oblivious to what had happened since he fell asleep.

"Hey sleepy head, too much to drink?" Salazar grinned.

"Guess so," Murdock said with a chuckle. "Must have worn myself out more than I thought when I was creating those jars."

Salazar laughed. "Heh probably," he said. "Lord JWolf here created a Mini-Kurt out of lightning and hes going around shocking people."

"Great," Murdock said looking around.

"I'm going back inside, need another drink," Salazar then said, standing up. He yawned and stretched. "Man blowing those vases up really did wear me out."

Murdock laughed, stretching he felt physical pain. "Ow...yeah"

Salazar headed inside and went straight to the bar. He was glad to get away from Mini-Kurt.

Outside Kurt looked skywards. "Something doesn't feel right out there," he said.

Kartion emerged from the bathroom, and stood there, his fist bleeding. He hadn't bothered to heal it. He looked around, and tried to find Kurt and Daniel.

Salazar headed inside and went straight to the bar. He was glad to get away from Mini-Kurt.

Outside Kurt looked skywards. "Something doesn't feel right out there," he said.
"What?" I asked.

"I'm not sure," Kurt replied. "I sense something bad."

"Hmm. Let's hope it doesn't ruin your party, then." I said.

Kurt nodded. "I'm sure it's just passing," he said. "Security is on high alert anyway, they'll take care of any problems."

Murdock glanced up in the sky, the wind blew at his hair a bit and he squinted, he then turned around and looked at the others.

"What does it feel like?"

"I don't know, it just feels... well bad really," Kurt said.

"Hmm," Murdock said before walking past the others and into the house. He leaned against the doorway and watched Kurt, trying to see if he sensed anything else.

Lord JWolf just eyed the sky with a half smile on his face. As he did that, Merlin came out of his duster and wrapped lightly around Lord JWolf’s neck.

"Huh? About Sakura?" said Alex. "Oh...I don't remember where she is...She disappeared after the first night. That was the last I saw of her...I mean more like heard her. I remember hearing that Makie made it safely back to -Noir-...She called and checked up on me at the hospital."

Jenna blinked. "What? Makie? What does Sakura have to do with Makie?"

Kartion winced.

He'd now lost alot of blo*d, and he'd left a trail throughout the hall...

Kurt took his eyes away from the sky. "I'm probably just imagining things," he then said.

"Somebody is bleeding inside." said Lord JWolf. "I will go and see who it is?" as he walked inside and looked for the blood.

He found the start of it at the men's room.

I know who it is, now. he said in his mind.

Using the Force, he sent a message to Daniel.

Dan, the blood is from Kartion. Then continued to follow the blood.

Salazar returned outside, with a tankard in hand.

"Come back to join us I see," Kurt smirked.

"Yeah, it's rather stuffy in there," he replied. "I think Lady Rasputin is trying to turn it into a ball, even Finntroll have made a run for it."

Kurt burst out laughing. "I knew she would crack sooner or later," he said. "She hated the idea of a party instead of a ball."

Valerie was sitting with Haushinka in a tree, watching the others gather around, when Sal came out she jumped down, and started walking to the group the others had formed, Haush was following her of course.

Salazar smiled at Valerie as she came over. "Problem with being out here is the bar's inside," he then pointed out.

"No matter, we'll just get the servents to bring the drinks out," Kurt suggested.

"Somebody is bleeding inside." said Lord JWolf. "I will go and see who it is?" as he walked inside and looked for the blood.

But he didn't. The blood has not stopped flowing. If I find him, I will bring him to you.

Slowly the ship edged toward the planet colony of Tortuga DN.

"Prepare the drop ships,"

"As you wish Lady Nocturne,"

As she expected, following the explosions soon led Flick to Salazar. And there was Valerie, too, with something large and feline in tow (though probably, given the nature of felines, it was the other way round: Dogs have masters, cats have staff she smiled to herself.)

It was lucky they hadn't noticed her yet. It gave her time to check them out. Their energy flows seemed straightforward enough -- though Sal was a bit depleted, she noted, automatically doing an unobtrusive realignment.

Now where was Murdock? When big things go boom, he won't be far away, she thought. She really needed to see him. He'd somehow been the catalyst of events at Maritzar, so if something was going wrong with the group's whaddyacallit ... interlinking .... gestalt, yeah, that was it ... it could well be connected to him.

Or to Jenna. Or Makie; something weird had gone on with ... I don't want to think about that, Flick told herself. As she had told herself obediently every time her brain presented memories of Makie and the island.

Kurt suddenly stood up.

"What's wrong?" Quatre asked.

"Something bad," Kurt said, looking up.

So far nothing looked out of the ordinary as the stars twinkled in the clear night sky.

"I sense it too," Eamonn agreed, walking up behind the prince. "Something bad is coming our way."

I'm also detecting a disturbance in the Force, coming from the air. "Crap. Something isn't right. Way to ruin the party, and we haven't even had the punch yet!" I said, trying to crack a joke.

Lord JWolf continue to follow the blood through the hallways. Not knowing what Kartion was thinking, he only want to save his life.

Can’t have Kartion dieing on us. Can we? He thought.

"Well if all goes to plan, we'll defeat whatever this is and have enough time for punch before midnight," Kurt remarked.

"Good. I've been itching for a little ass-kicking in between dinner and cake." I snickered, rubbing my hands. Mr. Overconfident strikes again!

Kurt looked up, there was what looked like a meteor shower in the sky. Maybe they were meteaors, maybe not.

"I think this might be it," he said.

I focused on the 'meteors'. "Hmm. Yeah. I could feel something cold coming from there."

"Certainly," Kurt agreed. "There was no mention of a meteor shower tonight this is not an act of the Gods."

They watched as one shot down and hit the ground near the spaceport.

The other falling objects that were raining down through the atmosphere were going alot slower. Descending at a speed meaning that they would not hit the ground as hard as the first had. Kurt recognised what they were and so realised what was going on.

"We're under attack," he yelled out.

A siren began wailing through the air to warn the citizens of the attack. The troops stationed at the palace began milling about, getting ready to protect the colony. Kurt grabbed Quatre's hand and headed back inside to get ready since they were currently unarmed.

Lord JWolf heard the siren and said "What the Hell? Kartion can wait." Turning around, he started to run back to find the others.

"Does everyone have to crash birthday parties all the time?" I moaned, and checked to see that my lightsaber is with me. Then, I disapparated towards the crash site at the spaceport, careful not to let anyone see me. Ducking behind a dumpster, I watched the scene unfold...

Kurt saw Lord JWolf as he entered the palace. "Prepare yourself," he said. "We're under attack." With that he headed upstairs to retrieve his lightsaber.

Behind him Salazar came in and headed to the ballroom to let those inside know what was going on.

"Damn it." said Lord JWolf. Pulling out a datapad from his pocket, he actives Wolf One's cameras. The four cameras scanned the spaceport. They saw ....................

Good, one down, and a few more to go. I thought, and apparated back at the palace.

CRACk! "I'm back!" I said. "Nothing there."

"Whats that?" the prince asked, seeing what Lord JWolf had with him.

"A datapad that links me with the Wolf One." said Lord JWolf. "And for what I can tell, somebody had a wreck."

"Right, I don't think we'll be so lucky with the rest of them then," Kurt said as he and Quatre headed outside.

The palace guards headed down the palace gates. In the colony itself, the colony guards were preparing themselves in the now empty streets. The dropships were now landing.

"Hopefully, they'll never make it this far," the prince said, looking up at the sky. "But I fear more will come."

"Who would sent them?" asked Lord JWolf as he placed the datapad back in his pocket.

"I'm betting my grandfather," Kurt scowled. "Be prepared."

Fighting had now broken out between the attackers and the colonies guards. Smoken was beginnging to rise from the colony, a sign that Kurt didn't like and so he began to make his way down the path to where the palace guards had gathered.

"Well, looks like not every grandfather is a sweet old man." I said to Kurt as I passed him. "What next?"

"We defend the palace," he said.

The attackers were pushing their way through the colony guards and were attempting to get up to the palace gates. A couple or so buildings were on fire.

"But why land down there to come up here?" Eamonn asked, appearing with his lightsaber ready.

"To do as much damage to the colony in the process," the prince scowled. "Come on, we'll have to get them to the gates to do the least damage."

Murdock found himself standing out in the open of a grass field, he looked all around in confusion. Smoke rose into the air, sirens were blazing, voices, so many voices. What was going on? He spun around, but in all the madness couldn't find anyone he knew.

He turned in all different directions, and started shouting out for his friends.

Salazar saw Murdock and ran over to him, he looked rather confused. "It seems we're under attack," he said. "Come inside."

"Hold a minute," Murdock said as Salazar drug him inside. "We are defenders of this galaxy right? That means that we are supposed to fight evil no? This seems like a situation where we should meet those standards."

"Yes but I need more then my mind to fight," Salazar replied.

"Here we go, again." said Lord JWolf with a evil smile on his face. Drawing his lightsabers, he start to spin them in his hand. He waited for the attacker to come.

The attackers soon broke through the colony guards, who had in fact been outnumbered. Kurt readied his attack as a couple of dragons flew overhead. He knew there were there to help defend the palace, more would turn up if and when they were needed. Quatre started blasting the nearest attackers, who were dressed all in a very dark blue uniform, with his staff weapon. The guards around them did the same.

"Keep blasting," Kurt yelled. "Get their numbers down before they come up here."

Then Lord JWolf walk out of the shadows near Kurt and he was laughing. Sending a powerful Force wave at the attackers and then igniting his lightsabers. Now, he waited.

The attackers pushed their way forwards and were soon at the palace gates. Behind him, Kurt sensed Master Elanessë approach, not in dragon form as he had been expecting.

"The others are coming up from the rear," Master Elanessë said. "We have them surrounded.

Above a dragon flew down and grabbed at a couple of the attacks and flung them at the other.

"Ok men, charge at them," Kurt yelled.

Hmm. me needs more firepower. I thought, and I apparated to my fighter. Luckily, Rocky was able to put up shields when the fights began.

"Good thinking, Rocky. Now I need to get to my compartment..." I said.

The shields dropped for just a second, and I rooted through my compartment, grabbing my blaster and a small bag of explosive goodies. I closed the compartment, and Rocky regrew the shields.

"I'll be back. Don't worry, Rocky!" I smiled, as he beeped with worry. I apparated away again, this time to attack the foes who dared mess up the party. Now this is tricky, because I have to pop in, shoot or slice, then pop out. Apparating does take a lot out of me that way, though, so I'll just do it once.

CRACK! I shot at two guys who heard the noise, then whirled to block bolts, before teleporting again to the the defending positions.

"I got some goodies!" I said to the others. "Quickly!"

Dodging blaster fire from attacker, he aimed for one of the attackers. Driving his right shoulder into the attacker in front of him.................

Kurt and the others began striking down wave after wave of attacker. He wasn't sure how many there actually were, there seemed to be outnumbering them by rather alot, but he was confident they had the manpower behind to defeat them. The dragons circling above sure evened matters out, every time they divebombed the group of attackers they took out several of them.

"Good going guys," Kurt yelled. "We're pushing them away from the palace."

Lord JWolf just laughed as he charge the attacker. He was on the right side of everybody. Turning off his lightsabers and put them back in their place, he continue to charge. Dodging blaster fire from attacker, he aimed for one of the attackers. Driving his right shoulder into the attacker in front of him.................

The attacker fell back as Lord JWolf shoulder hit him and sending the attackers gun in the air. Lord JWolf rolled over the attacker and gun landed in his hand. Squeezing the trigger he fire at group of five attackers running at him.

A couple of attackers ran at Kurt but he fended them off with his lightsaber. As he fought them, he began to think more and more that these weren't anything to do with Azazel. For a start they weren't very organised, they just seemed to fight at anyone near them, and there there was the fact they did nothing to subdue the dragons, like they didn't know how to. This wasn't anything to do with Azazel, this was the work of another. Maybe this was the Lady Nocturne that Caer Fore had warned him about.

The five attackers were full of hole because of Lord JWolf’s attack. Between Lord JWolf’s legs, the attacker that he knock down ,started to move. Lord JWolf drop the butt of the rifle on the man’s chest. The air was knock out of the man then Lord JWolf pulled the man up and send him flying in a nearby alley. Throwing the rifle at six attacker running at him, he hissed and show his fangs. The men stopped in their tracks and looked in fear. Lord JWolf’s hands disappear into his duster and came back out with his Beretta 93R automatic pistols, load with high-power silver bullets. The men slow surrounds Lord JWolf, guns pointed at the vampire. “Vampire drop your weapons or we will be kill.” said one of the men. “You can try.” yelled Lord JWolf. His arms shot up and the pistols pointed at the men on each side of Lord JWolf. With one shot, the men fell backwards with three bullets in their head each.. Before the men in front of Lord JWolf could act, he aimed at their heads and fire. They fell backwards, too. Lord JWolf did a front flip and twisted during the flip. So, he was facing them as he landed. Aiming at their head, he fired. Then fell backward as Lord JWolf open fire on two more men, hitting them in the chest. Holstering his pistol, he saw the man in alley trying to get up. Jumping into the alley, his right hand goes around the man’s neck. Holding the man off the ground, Lord JWolf asked “Who send you?”

Zipping in and out of the enemy ranks, I too, took my fair share of kills, either with my blaster, or by disembowlment and decapitation. I also used martial arts when I was close enough, kicking in vital spots when I had an opportunity.

A guy was behind me, and he shot off a blaster bolt. I whirled and caught it, sending it straight back at him. He dropped like a stone. Two guys were pretty agile, agile enough to dodge my swings and actually got in a hard blow to my stomach. I staggered back, and called upon the Force, flinging them into the side of a building. Now, there was a last person. This one, I ducked the first two blows from his vibroblade, then went down for a sweep. He jumped over my head, and brought his vibroblade around for a slicing motion. I blocked it with my lightsaber, seeing how well-forged it was by taking some effort to cut through the blade. Then I moved in to cut towards him, but he ducked and rolled. When he came up though, that's when he got a foot in the face, and was KOed...

The man said nothing to Lord JWolf. Instead his eyes lulled back in his head and his body went limp. Kurt fought his way over to him.

"That doesn't look good for interrogating those that survive," he said.

Murdock looked out the window, and saw the sheer madness, he turned to Salazar. "Come on Sal! We need to go down there! Its our duty!"

Salazar picked up a couple of zat'ni'katel's and passed one to Murdock. "Here use this just in case," he said. "One shot will render them unconcious, the second will kill them."

He then headed down to where the battle was raging.

Murdock looked at it for a moment, then pressed the button. The thing popped open at the ready, he ran outside and towards the battle.

Running down the path, they could see the guards fighting the attackers, pushing them away from the palace. Salazar noticed one had gotten through and was running up toward the palace. In an instant the man exploded, body parts flying everywhere.

"Not too much of that," Salazar said as he pushed his way through to the front line.

"Well thats new," Murdock said pausing for a moment as the man exploded, but he then ran back down to the front lines, following close behind Salazar.

The man said nothing to Lord JWolf. Instead his eyes lulled back in his head and his body went limp. Kurt fought his way over to him.

"That doesn't look good for interrogating those that survive," he said.

"Yeah." he said as he dropped the body to ground. "We could look at the data logs on thier dropships to find who send them."

Salazar quickly fired upon two attackers as he caught up with Kurt. "Your grandfathers goons?" he asked.

"No," the prince said, burying his lightsaber into an attackers chest. "These are someone elses goons."

"Yeah." he said as he dropped the body to ground. "We could look at the data logs on thier dropships to find who send them."


"Good idea," Kurt agreed. "So long as they don't destroy them."

Murdock ran down to the front to see two guards in front of him go down, leaving him in the open. Without thinking he aimed the zat in his hand and fired several times, taking out two of the attackers. Then his mind kicked in, before he realized what he was even doing three more enemies were chucked high into the air by an invisible force. He gazed up in wonder of what he had just done.

"Holy shit!" He shouted. "I'm like a badass super hero!"

"Good idea," Kurt agreed. "So long as they don't destroy them."

"Get me to them and we can take one." said Lord JWolf as he attack with his lightsabers. After his 'blade' cut off an attacker's head, he looked up and saw the dragons. "Kurt, got our transport." he said pointing up.

"You have superpowers of course you're a superhero," Salazar joked. He shot a cople more attackers. "Thats good for interrogation."

"As long as they don't snuff it to avoid interrogation," Kurt said. "One just did that while Lord Jwolf was trying to get them to telling him who sent them."

"Get me to them and we can take one." said Lord JWolf as he attack with his lightsabers. After his 'blade' cut off an attacker's head, he looked up and saw the dragons. "Kurt, got our transport." he said pointing up.

"You'll find they don't take kindly to taking passengers," Kurt told him. "I'll teleport you to one instead."

“Damn, I want to ride a dragon.” said Lord JWolf. “Lets go.” as he held up his left hand. “Don’t get any ideas.” he said jokingly.

Kurt glared at him. He grabbed hold of his arm and teleported him down to where some of the dropships had landed. They lay undefended, too easy Kurt thought.

"What do you think?" he asked.

"Naw," Murdock said popping a shot at another baddie. "Superhero's wear tights, thank god I'm not wearing that stuff."

He shot another, and then tossed two more.

Another of them exploded, sending an arm in their direction.

"For all I know you could be wearing tights right now," Salazar grinned, shooting down a couple more.

Kurt glared at him. He grabbed hold of his arm and teleported him down to where some of the dropships had landed. They lay undefended, too easy Kurt thought.

Listening for heartbeats inside the one of the ships, he heared four inside near the back and one in the cockpit. "Five people inside." he said. "You take the one out in the cockpit and I take the other four."

The last man killed himself. Lord JWolf headed to the cockpit.

"Kurt, this will take me a little bit to do." he said as he sat down in pilot’s chair. He hit a few buttons and four views of outside came out. Showing nobody near the ship. His fingers moved fast on the keyboard on the ride side of pilot’s chair. As he looked at the screen in front of him, he asked "Is this a normal ship that DN uses?"

Kurt looked around. "Nope, nothing like anything we have in DN," he said. "At least not before Azazel took control."

"Ok" said Lord JWolf. "Shit! This is the fourth password I have to hack." It took about two minutes to hack this password. "I'm in." Lord JWolf was now in the mainframe of the ship. It took a little bit, to find the ship logs. Scanning the data, something caught his eyes. A report about a Lady. Sharks shot from the keyboard and shocked Lord JWolf. "Damn it." he said as the report was gone off the screen and a message flashed across the screen. Report has been deleted. "All I got was the word, lady."

"Lady?" Kurt said. "Thats got to be this Lady Nocturne then."

And what he knew about her was zilch.

"I'm going back in." said Lord JWolf as he started scanning more pages of data.

All the while, Kurt kept his mind on the battle, so far they appeared to be winning. "What more can you find?" he asked.

"Nothing. But I found a way to disable every one of their dropships." said Lord JWolf "Some how their ships are linked together. The mainframes are all link together. Want me to download the mainframe to my datapad and then erase their mainframe?

"Sure," Kurt nodded. "That'll just mean they can't try taking off or sending in reinforcements doesn't it?"

"Yeah. But if they have more dropships up there, they can come back down here." said Lord JWolf pulling out his second datapad and two black cords from his pocket. Plugging the two cords into datapad at the bottom then into two port at the bottom of the screen. "This will take maybe five minutes to download and no time to erase it."

"Ok," Kurt nodded. "If they do have more, we'll be ready for them."

IC: Valerie was not very surprised when people started attacking the mansion. She debated weather to help or not, she felt like she should, but then again, she felt like she wanted to see people die, and suffer. She stepped out side and found the body of an injured attacker. She pulled out her knife and stabbed him the hand, and yelled "Who sent you!?" The attacker screamed in agony, as Valerie's face twisted into a smile. Haushinka sat there, and asked Val what she was doing
"I'm trying to get information from him, wanna help?" she said, knowing that no one else could hear, or understand.
Haushinka prowled over to the other side and put her paw down on his leg, claws fully extended.

The attacker didn't say anything, other then scream. Soon he went quiet and just like with the one Lord JWolf had tried to get info out of, his eyes rolled back in his head and he went limp.

Flick blinked. She'd seen parties gatecrashed before, but this was beyond the beyonds. Automatically she checked the Shadow Lands; but no, there were none of the energy swirls that would signal a breach in the wall. So these had to be just real-world attackers ...

Just? You've come a long way since your student days, Flick.

... which meant that, for all her Fixer gifts, she couldn't be much use yet. Later, though -- Hey!

Barely in time, Flick flung herself away from two battling figures. If she was going to even survive until later, she'd better do something now. Arranging her surface energies in a standard don't-see-me, she went in search of Valerie.

Because she was sure now that the unease she'd been feeling had nothing to do with this attack. And it was getting stronger. Was this because she was physically closer to its source? She needed to see the whole group together. But in this maelstrom it'd be all too easy to lose even the ones she could see -- except Val. The link between her and that cat was so strong even Alex would probably be able to trace it.

Valerie was very dissapointed tht she wasn't able to get any info from the mysterious attacker. She was planning on having a nice little torture session. She had long since gone up in a tree, and started shooting random attackers. She was really regretting not having brought her rifle. She was only going to use up one clip, and then she was done. She was only gonna use one because she had shown off a bit much earlier, and only had enough extra bullets for one more clip, leaving her with two clips total in the end.

Kurt looked toward Lord JWolf. "Reckon this and Kartion showing up are linked?" he asked.

“Don’t know. Downloading is done.” said Lord JWolf. Opening a program on datapad called Hacker's Playground, he search for the worm file. “This is going to be fun.” Hitting the send button, the worm was copied into the ship’s mainframe. “In less then a minute everything will be gone from the system.” Taking the cords out from the bottom of the ship's computer, he said "Lets go."

Kurt nodded and left with him. "This Lady Nocturne, I'm betting she is Sith," he said.

“Maybe or maybe not. I have ran into a lot of Siths in my life time and her actions don’t look like a Sith’s actions. A Sith would have bombed us from space not what she is doing.” said Lord JWolf as he placed his data pad into his pocket. Then red lights start flashing, Lord JWolf looked back at the cameras and saw ten men outside the ship. Looking over at Kurt, he said “We need to get back to palace fast.”

Kurt nodded and upon placing a hand on Lord JWolf's shoulder, he teleported the pair of them back to the palace grounds. "Then again she could be Goa'uld," he then mentioned.

"Maybe." said Lord JWolf. "It looks like to attackers are being pushed back to their ships."

As the men enter the ship to see who was in there, they found nothing but the five dead men. "Who did this?" asked the leader.

"Don't know, sir." said other man.

"Continue towards the cockpit." order the leader.

"Yes, sir." said the man.

As the man open the door to the cockpit, he saw a message flashing on the computer screen.

Mainframe deleted. All data has been erased.

"Looks like it," Kurt agreed. "And they can't leave can they?"

Looking down at his watch on his right arm, he said "Not now."

"Unfortunately I think they'll do exactly what the one you tried getting info out of did," Kurt sighed. Cowards, he thought to himself.

"Yeah but think what Lady Nocturne is thinking." said Lord JWolf with a evil smile.

Cutting down the last foe, I wiped off a spot of blood from my shirt. A little messy, but nothing to worry about.

I apparated to Kurt's location. "Most of the bogeys are eliminated, but there are still likely to be a few running around. And there's the matter of this Lady Nocturne..."

"All she is thinking is attack," Kurt replied. He then looked towards Daniel. "The guards will pick upo the last of them, we'll deal with finding out who this Lady Nocturne is."

"There was only that report on the mainframe that got deleted. I search everything on that mainframe and nothing about Lady Nocturne was in it." said Lord JWolf. "Anybody got any ideas?"

"All we have to guy by is what Caer Fore told Dan and I," Kurt said, a few of the others were beginning to return as the battle wound down. "All he said was 'beware Lady Nocturne'."

"Damn. Faulty intelligence, bane of the soldier." I groaned. "Is there anything we have on her?"

"Several dozen bodies of men commanded to attack us by her," Kurt said. "But then that'll lead us to a dead end and won't tell us anything."

The young prince sighed, this did not bode well. If they didn't find her, she could launch another attack and that could be much more deadly then this one was.

"I don't really fancy going back to the Norns planet to question him," he then added.

"Oh, no, don't even suggest that." I said.

“Kurt, got a huge telescope on this planet?” asked Lord JWolf “So, we see what the Lady’s ship looks like.”

Kurt nodded at Daniels remark. "Maybe at the research centre," he suggested.

"Ok, let's go, then." I sighed in relief.

"Lets go there then." said Lord JWolf.

"Right, it's just up this path," Kurt then told them. Without waiting them, the young prince began walking up the path towards the research centre. To be honest, he had never been there before and so didn't know what to expect.

The battle had ended (right?) and Murdock had found himself sitting under a tree, dressing the wound he earned on his arm. It was a deep cut but he would be fine. He looked around at all the carnage, already guards and servants were hard at work trying to clean up the battlefield.

"Well they're now rounding up the last few," Salazar said, noticing Murdock under the tree. "You alright?"

"Right, it's just up this path," Kurt then told them. Without waiting them, the young prince began walking up the path towards the research centre. To be honest, he had never been there before and so didn't know what to expect.
I followed Kurt, hoping that this would be the best chance at gathering more intelligence on this Lady.

They quickly made it up to the front doors of the research centre. Inside it looked like chaos as the staff were milling about in the aftermath of Lady Nocturnes attack on the colony.

"Here we go," Kurt said before entering, though no one seemed to take any notice.

Above the planet, Lady Nocturnes ship began moving away.

"Right, it's just up this path," Kurt then told them. Without waiting them, the young prince began walking up the path towards the research centre. To be honest, he had never been there before and so didn't know what to expect.

Lord JWolf followed Kurt and Daniel to the research centre. As he walked, he put two full clips in his pistols.

"Here we go," Kurt said before entering, though no one seemed to take any notice.

"Ok. Nobody looking at us." said Lord JWolf. Walking up to nearest person, he asked "Can you show me and my friends the telescope?"

"We do not let strangers..." the man began to say as he was looking at Lord JWolf, but then he noticed who he was with. "I apologise your highness." He bowed slightly. "I did not know he was with you. If you'll follow me I'll show you to the telescope, but I warn you it is not in complete working order." He then heading in the direction of a staircase.

Kurt grinned at Lord JWolf before following.

The man then led them up to a room filled with computer panels along two walls. Directly opposite the door were a number of large screens showing space, one showed a ship moving slowly.

"I think thats our ship," Kurt pointed out.

I also followed the blue-skinned dude, hoping we could catch the dark Lady.

"Well they're now rounding up the last few," Salazar said, noticing Murdock under the tree. "You alright?"
"I'll be fine," Murdock said as he tightened the gauss wrap.

"Never seen a ship like that." said Lord JWolf.

The man then led them up to a room filled with computer panels along two walls. Directly opposite the door were a number of large screens showing space, one showed a ship moving slowly.

"I think thats our ship," Kurt pointed out.
"Can we zoom in on her?" I asked.

"I'll be fine," Murdock said as he tightened the gauss wrap.

"You do look like you need a drink though," Salazar pointed out. "Come on inside."

"Never seen a ship like that." said Lord JWolf.

"It looks like a heavily modified ha'tak mothership," Kurt said.

"Can we zoom in on her?" I asked.

Another scientist nodded and zoomed in on the ship. Along the starboard side was the word 'Pantera'.

"Good name for a band," Kurt commented.

"Probably. So now we know the name of the ship, and the type." I said. "That's something. More important is the weaponry and shielding on that ship. I'd need to know before I could ask Dad to commit a task force to pursue her."

"It looks like a heavily modified ha'tak mothership," Kurt said.

"I see it, now. It is heavily modified." said Lord JWolf. Then Tel'Mac took over his body.

"So, she is a Goa'uld." said Tel'Mac through Lord JWolf.

"We can't tell the weapons, we don't have sensors," the scientist told Daniel.

"She could be Goa'uld, or it could be a ship stolen from the Draconian starfleet like the 'Ayreon was'," Kurt pointed out.

"All right." I said. In the absence of knowing the weaponry and shields, I'm going to have to recommend Dad send at least three Star Destroyers in the task force.
