It was now several months since Kurt sought the Norns, though he met one, they refused to change his destiny. Dejected, Kurt returned to Tortuga DN, after a long sidetrack brought on by the Norns and stayed there to gather his thoughts while his ship, the ‘Ayreon’ stayed in orbit. Eventually the time was for the former heir to the Draconian thrones eighteenth birthday. He never liked huge posh balls when his father ruled Draconis Nightcrawlis as they were too often and were always full of boring old people. There was also always some ‘dumb’ princess from a foreign nation that he always had to dance with, he knew why though, it was because his parents wanted him to marry a princess so that he had a Queen for when he was King. He didn’t want a wife, but couldn’t exactly tell them he was gay and he’d been to scared to come out to anyone before his family had been overthrown, except of course to his closest friends. It wasn’t as if his parents were homophobic or anything, it was just too awkward to tell them. Nowadays he was a lot more open about him, everyone in the colonies knew that the prince and rightful ruler of Draconis Nightcrawlis was gay. Now he wasn’t forced to dance with any dumb princesses, though a lot of that was down to the fact that he had only attended one ball since then and that was the one he and The Nordic Marauders had crashed in order to bring down Azazel, that however had failed and he was captured.

And that brought him to the present, those around him had decided his eighteenth birthday was very important and that he should at least have a party. Since it was Lady Rasputin who volunteered to organise the party it was bound to feel much more like a ball, probably with an orchestra playing. Still he was going to refuse to dress up for it and instead wore black jogging pants and a ‘Finntroll’ t-shirt. It wasn’t as if anyone would dare to make him change into anything else anyway. In the mirror he checked his shoulder length, indigo coloured hair. Messy as usual, but at that length even after a lot of brushing it would get messy again pretty quickly. Anyway he preferred it messy. Now it was time to face the horror that would be his birthday ‘party’.

As soon as he left his room he could hear music playing, it sure didn’t like the classical stuff he was expecting to hear. It sounded familiar, very familiar and he found himself liking it. Heading towards the ballroom, he saw Quatre waiting for him. He was of course very smartly dressed, unlike Kurt. Quatre smiled as the prince walked up to him.

“Man Quatre, you look hot,” Kurt smiled.

Quatre blushed. “Come on, time to join your party,” he said, grabbing the prince by the hand and dragged him over to the double doors that lead into the ballroom. “I do wish you’d make more of an effort to dress up for something like this.”

“But then that just wouldn’t be me,” Kurt grinned.

“I know,” Quatre sighed. “You are going to love this anyway.”

Quatre pushed open the doors and lead Kurt inside.

“His Royal Highness Prince Kurt Wagner II,” a female voice announced as soon as he appeared through the door.

Kurt could feel the eyes staring at him. So many faces he didn’t recognise, but many he did. Some he hadn’t seen in ages, like Salazar Bräck. It looked like he had brought some of his new friends with him. He would have to meet them asap, depending on who else he’d bump into. The prince’s eyes turned to the band playing and widened.

“Is that Finntroll?” he asked Quatre.

“Yep, knew you’d like them,” his boyfriend told him.

Kurt leaned over and kissed him on the cheek, which made the blond boy blush. “How did you get them here?” he asked.

“Had to sneak them out of DN,” Quatre explained. “Azazel has some tight restrictions at the moment, I think he’s still after the rest of the Nordic Marauders and so them being with us would have looked bad for their well-being.”

“But fuck me you got Finntroll to play here,” Kurt sounded pleased, but very surprised. Finntroll were of course one of his favourite bands and now it just proved how wearing a Finntroll t-shirt to his party was a good idea.

Quatre grabbed him by the hand and took him down the stairs to where Lady Rasputin was waiting.

“I hope you like your party your highness,” she said, evidently somewhat uncomfortable calling it a party rather then a ball like she had prefered.

“Yes I do,” Kurt said, smiling politely. “Thank you.”

Lady Rasputin nodded. “It pleases me to see you happy,” she said and walked off to see how things were going.

“Hey Kurt, been a while,” came Salazar’s voice.

Kurt turned around and smiled. “Yeah I know, bet your olds don’t know you’re here,” he smirked.

“Course not,” Salazar grinned, then looked somewhat downcast. “Don’t really speak to them anymore. I am eighteen now so it’s not as if I have to live with them any more anyway.”

The prince then put an arm around his friend. “Don’t worry you still have us,” he said. “So who are your friends?”

Elsewhere in the ballroom, Eamonn Jarlath threaded his way through a mass of bodies looking for someone.

Having come along way from the Mercenary State of Nation of Fortune, Valerie was glad to be able to get out and strech, so was her cougar, Haushinka. Valerie stepped out of the cab wearing black military style pants and a black cloak, anything under the cloak was obscured from immediate view. She was anxious about not travelling with her rifle, but knew it would only lead to problems, so she left it at home. Haushinka was a fairly young cougar, about 1 and a half years old, but able to fend for herself. She was loyal only to Valerie, and would do anything to protect her.
Valerie looked at Haushinka, and wondered why she came. After thinking about it for a bit she realized it probably would be the nice thing to do, considering she had been invited. She then stepped passed one of the many servents, and up to the desk where they were checking invitations. She pulled her cloak back a bit and revealed a plain brown t-shirt with a MOLLE load bearing vest over it. She reached into one of the pockets and produced the invitation. She stepped inside and saw a plethora of people. After a bit of searching around she found Salazar, one of the people she met two years ago at that dreaded place her parents forced her to go, Martizar International Boarding school. She started heading for him, but got lost in the crowd of people and had to start all over again, After about three tries she finally got it right.
"Hi" she said, and forced a weak smile, scratching Haushinka's head, which was a little above waist level, on Valerie.

"Jenna Pannove," the brown-haired girl said, shaking hands with Kurt. "We're all Salazar's school-mates. Pleased to meet you. And that's Val coming up," she added without turning.

"Hi," said Valerie, stepping forward. Jenna noticed a cougar next to her. "Oh hey, that's the pet you told me about. Wow, it's beautiful. Seeing it through your eyes when you're thousands of kilometers away isn't the same."

"Pleased to meet you," Kurt smiled, still with his arm around Salazar. "I hope Sal here was on his best behaviour at the school, don't want to make Draconis Nightcrawlis look bad now do we?"

"Hey I was good," Salazar protested.

Murdock laughed, and then looked up, his hands were at the small of his back, and he had been looking at the ground.

"Oh yes, Sal here was quite the trouble maker," He said. "But more over a trouble maker after we got out of school, but we shall not dwell on the past. Come it is the prince's birthday. And may I wish you a very happy one."

He held out his right arm to shake. "Murdock, another of Salazar's friends."

"Pleased to meet you," Kurt said, shaking Murdocks hand. "Sal has always been a trouble maker, I would have been surprised if he wasn't."

Salazar rolled his eyes.

"He is also a very good man, and I am sure you know that," Murdock said. "Helped me out quite a bit in many different situations."

Kurt nodded, "Yep, Sal's an awesome friend to have," the prince said. "So anyone what anything to drink?"

The blue, dizzying tunnel of hyperspace gave way to star-streaks and then points of light, as a small blue-striped X-wing starfighter reentered realspace. Below it's cockpit, it is adorned with the seal of the Core Royal Family on it's port side and the seal of the Jedi Order on the starboard side. Near the nose, it is also painted with several ship-symbols, meant to represent kills made by this particular pilot.

"Tortuga control, this is Knight-Apprentice Daniel Masaki, requesting clearance for landing, please." I commed as I neared the planet. When I recieved the invite a few days ago, I wasted no time in saying "Yes" and looking for a good present. This particular present is something that took quite some time to acquire, but I'm sure that Kurt will love it.

"Greetings Daniel Masaki," came the reply. "Clearence for you to land has been granted, please enjoy your stay."

Descending into the atmosphere, I was vectored into the spaceport, and kicked in the repulsarlifts to land. As I stepped out of the cockpit, and Rocky the droid was TKed to the ground, I went to the fighter's compartment, and took out the present, which was a large box with a handle and extremely airtight, and a change of clothes (Jedi robes, of course) from my flight suit, and hailed a taxi to get to the party.

A sleek black Lambda Class shuttle came out of hyperspace over Tortuga. Slowly, the shuttle vectored towards the atmosphere.

Inside the Shuttle, was a man in a dark cloak, his hood covering his face, yet his two piercing red eyes seem to glow a little, showing some of the man's face. He hit the comm.

"Tortuga control, this is the Nealson's Wrath, requesting clearance to land, over."

"I'm sorry 'Nealson's Wrath' but we don't the clearance for you to land."

The taxi lead me to the Governor's Mansion, and after I paid the driver and took out the items, I walked up to the guard, who let me in as soon as I showed my I.D. and headed up the hill to the mansion itself.

As Kurt talked to Salazar's friends he sensed Daniel's arrival, but he also sensed a dark presence above the planet.

The man grinned. Concentrating only slightly on the speaker, his voice became softer, and a little more forceful at the same time.

"I have clearance to land...

The comm. chirped after a few seconds.

"You have clearance to land Nealson's Wrath."

The man shook his head.

"Thank you. Nealson's Wrath out."

The sleek black Shuttle flew through the atmosphere. Grinning to himself, the man patted the wrapped box in the chair next to him.

"Happy Birthday...Prince Kurt."

The man chuckled a bit, and the focused as the spaceport came into view. Closing his eyes, and grinning all the way, the man landed his shuttle perfectly. Picking up the wrapped box, he left the Shuttle, and hailed a taxi. After a few minutes, he got in.

"Where to?" The Driver asked.

"The Governor's Mansion, thank you." The man replied.

The taxi set off towards the Governor's mansion...but by now, a Jedi must have noticed the approaching darkness...

I rapped on the door to the mansion, and waited. Then I noticed an odd presence in the Force approaching...

The door opened and a short butler greeted him. "Welcome Daniel Masaki,"

"If you'll excuse me," Kurt told Salazar. "I have to be somewhere else urgently."

An explosion of purple smoke later and he had teleported himself to the front door. There he saw Daniel, "You sense it too Dan?" he asked.

Grinning, the man walked up to the guard at the gates.

"I.D. please."

The man grinned and gave him the I.D.

The guard ran it through a scanner of some sort, and shook his head.

"Sorry sir, this doesn't register."

The man waved his hand about.

"My I.D. checks out, I can go through, have a nice day." The man said. The guard gave the man his I.D. back.

"Your I.D. checks out, you can go through, have a nice day." The guard said. The man smiled.

"Thank you."

Not wasting anytime, the man headed up to the Mansion itself. After a few minutes, he was at the door. Raising his arm slightly, the man rapped on the door.

"Yeah. It's approaching. On a lighter note..." I said. Then I held up the box, which looked like an animal carrier of some kind. It is airtight to prevent air leakage during the trip, and has a small air-scrubber, plus food and water for the creature inside. "Happy Birthday, Kurt!"

Kurt was about to reply when he heard the knocking. "Hold the phone, he's here," Kurt said, placing the box down on a table. "You ready Dan?"

"Yeah, but let's not do anything drastic unless he does, ok?" I said. I don't want a party ruined now!

"Yeah, anyone planning to ruin my party will regret it," Kurt agreed.

The short butler opened the door at Kurt stepped forward to see who it was.

The man instantly bowed his head down, to make sure they didn't notice his eyes. He then grinned.

"Prince Kurt, it's an honour to see you after so long."

Bowing down, he held the wrapped box out with one hand.

"Happy Birthday."

Kurt wasn't sure what to do, there was an air of familiarity but he wasn't surewho. "Who are are you?" he demanded.

"Now, now, Kurt. That's no way to treat a guy who just said 'Happy Birthday' to you." I chided him.

The man grinned.

"I'm an old friend, my young Prince."

Daniel seemed to trust him and Kurt knew that he wouldn't just trust anyone. "Thank you," he said, taking the present in his hands, but didn't open it. He the stepped aside.

I decided to just keep an eye on this guy. I sense something familiar about him, but can't fully decide who it could be.

Kurt looked at Daniel, sensing that there was nothing about the present that posed an immediate threat, he opened it. There he found a full silver katana, a red jewl placed in its handle.

"Wow," he said, his eyes lighting up.

Then, a mewling came from the animal carrier as the animal woke up and sniffed the air. Sounds like a cat.

"Hey Kurt, I think someone wants to see you..." I grinned knowingly.

Kurt raised an eyebrow at Daniel as he heard the cat. He set the katana down on the table and opened up the animal, a russian blue cat leapt out and jumped into his arms. The prince was astonished.

"Oh wowDan, he's just like Shadow," he said. "I love him, I could kiss you."

"Let's not go that far." I said quickly. "Anyway, a few days ago, the cat was in an alley on Juria, and for some odd reason, he seemed to know me. So I took him to the Palace and decided to take him to you as a present. He seemed, I don't know, happy about that."

The cat was now purring contently, as if he's back in his owner's arms or something. He also seems more intelligent than he lets on, too.

Kurt smirked. "Quatre would kill me if I did anyway," he joked, running his hand down the cats back. "He is so much like him, it couldn't be possible could it?"

I just smiled. "The Force works in mysterious ways."

"So do the Norns," Kurt smirked and looked towards the familiar stranger.

The man grinned, and then reached inside his cloak. He retrieved a black box of some kind, twirled it around on his finger perfectly, and held it out on his palm towards the Prince. The box opened up by itself, to reveal a gold bracelet, with a button on top.

"For you and your...'friend friend' Prince Kurt."

The man pushed down the button. The button morphed into the bracelet, which then seperated in two.

"They fit perfectly back together." He said.

"Nice." I approved. Perhaps this guy isn't so bad, even if he is someone I suspect.

Valerie and Haushinka walked over to say hi and meet Kurt. When they got there they found they were meeting with a strange man that looked vaugly intimidating, and somebody that Val could get along with.
"Hi, Kurt, I'm Valerie, I don't think we were properly introduced yet. If you don't mind me asking, who is this friend of yours?" she said as she reached into her cloak and pulled out a box that was about 1 meter long. Inside was small rifle an intricatly carved stock.

Haushinka looked at the man, and glared menacingly, a deep growl coming from low in her throat. Val looked at her and she stopped growling, but kept on glaring.

The man turned his head slightly, so he could just see Haushinka. Focusing, he broke into Haushinka, and suddenly all her darkest and scariest memories began running through her head, scaring Haushinka into near submission. The man turned his head back to it's original posistion.

I could feel the use of the Force by this man. He's pretty strong...

Val watched her cougar lay down and start freaking out. In concern for Haushinka, she knelt down and put her head against the cougars, and asked her what was wrong. In response she learned that she had suddenly been remembering how her mother had been shot by hunters, and how she would have died had Val not come along, she also heard of the time she was going to kill Val in her sleep, shortly after she took her in, and numerous other things. For every bad thought, Val tried to counter it with a positive one. Eventually, Haushinka had calmed down and continued glaring at the man.

OOC: for those of you who haven't figured it out Val can comunicate with animals. Thats it no more powers for her. Just the three: hightened senses, quick healing of self, and communication with animals.

"You're pretty good with animals, I could tell." I smiled. "By the way, my name is Daniel Masaki, and I'm a cat-lover."

I keep a couple of cats in my Palace at home, and one more at Yavin.

Jenna said hi to Murdock, watching as val and the cat drifted over towards Kurt and whoever he was talking to. She sensed Vals concern over the cat, but it soon subsided and she turned her attention back to the others. "So," she grinned. "I'd ask how you two are, except I already know. Any amusing specifics happen since I last saw ya?"

"Not sure actually," the prince admitted. He looked at the small rifle, the carving was very well done. "Wow, this is an awesome looking rifle." he smiled at her. "Thank you."

The man smiled.

"You're very welcome Prince Kurt, but now, I feel it very fair to reveal who I am...but, if I may say something, please don't jump on me the moment I reveal myself," The man grinned again, "Especially you...little dude."

Kurt and Daniel's mouth's were about to open, but already, the man's hands had grabbed the hood. Slowly, he pulled the hood off his head, revealing his jet lack hair, and his human-like skin. Then, he rose, his handsome features revealed, and his deep red eyes, softer than they were before, looked over Kurt and Daniel. He smiled.

"Happy Birthday Kurt."

"Kartion," Kurt gasped.

A flash of anger and disappointment rolled from me. "You've got some guts coming here and showing yourself...Master."

Kartion grinned.

"Come now, it's Kurt's birthday, I have every right to be here. And as far as I know, you're a Jedi yourself, you don't need a master. And anyway, even if you wanted to hurt me you can't," Kartion grinned deeper, "Diplomatic immunity."

"What?" I asked. "What do you mean?"

Kartion raised an eyebrow, and chuckled.

"My plan worked little dude. I'm the ruler of Klatooine!"

"Oh, so that was your plan. I had thought it was something more sinister." I said coldly. "Still, I can't believe you tossed me offplanet while we were there. That was irritating, to say the least."

Kartion grinned.

"Sorry, but you were in the way of things. And hey, don't be so stereotypical of the Sith. Just because we weld the Force differently."

"All I could say, then, is absolute power corrupts absolutely." I sighed. "Watch yourself."

"So," she grinned. "I'd ask how you two are, except I already know. Any amusing specifics happen since I last saw ya?"
"Hey, long time no see," Murdock replied. "Anything amusing? Naw, just the normal routine, saving planets, escaping almost certain death. This one planet tried to crown me king but I turned that down, and now here I am."

Kartion patted Daniel on the shoulder, and grinned.

"I always do little dude."

He then rubbed Daniel's hair, and for a brief second, the old Kartion broke through. Then he regained his posture.

"I believe we've all said our hello's and expressed how glad we are to see each other, shall we now party?"

Kurt looked toward Daniel. "Do we have a choice?"

"No, I guess not." I said.

Kartion sighed.

"C'mon Kurt, if I was here to crash the party, I would have given you an active nuke. Instead I gave you one of my handcrafted Katana's, and a special bracelet for you and your 'friend friend'. Can't we all just forget our differences for today?"

"Fine," Kurt sighed. "Even if you tried anything there too many powerful people here."

"Not likely, given your track record." I said. "But I suggest we let him party."

Kartion growled, and walked off. He just wanted to have a good time. And so, after a few minutes, he walked into the main hall.

"Well I guess it can't get any worse then that," Kurt sighed.

Shadow meowed in agreement.

Kartion got himself a drink, and gulped it down. Shaking his head, he looked around, and saw Murdock. He walked over to him. He quickly read Murdock's mind, and outstretched his hand.

"Hey Murdock."

"Uh," Murdock said shaking Kartion's hand. "Hello there, uhm, Sir."

Kartion smiled.

"Oh, I'm Kartion Elesto, ruler of Klatooine, and the only real Sith at large at the moment."

"Your a sith? Well," Murdock said with a odd grin.

"Kurt invited a Sith?" Salazar said in disbelief.

Kartion grinned back.

"Would you like to see some of the stuff I can do?"

Kartion grinned back.

"Would you like to see some of the stuff I can do?"
"Uhh...as long as like no one gets hurt," Murdock said. ''Beleive it or not I am a defender of good as well. Even if I am not a Jedi."

"Try anything and you won't live long enough to regret it," Salazar scowled.

"Oh, well, let see..."

Kartion focused on Murdock. Closing his eyes, he concentrated deeply, and them Murdock froze. He went ghostly, and then dissapeared from the room. After a few seconds, he reappeared above Salazar, and gravity took effect...

I shook my head at Kartion's antics in the main room. I sent a little message. Kartion, announcing yourself a Sith in a room full of partygoers and a couple of Jedi is like announcing you're a boogyman in a room full of preschoolers with cops. I could hear your PR image go down...hard!

I used the Force to grab the guy before he fell and hurt himself.

Kartion grinned.

Freedom of speech, just leave me be. He sent back.

Murdock fell but then stopped, he felt like a rag doll. He looked around at everyone, and then used his own powers. He floated down to the ground slowly at first, and without any warning an energy surge flew out, hitting Kartion. There was a seemingly invisible hand that out of no where slapped the sith several times. Then stopped.

Murdock was breathing heavily slightly. "I have a few powers of my own, and I do not like my body being tampered with."

Salazar ducked out of the way as Murdock came down.

"Fucking Sith," Kurt muttered.

I was surprised at Murdock's own powers. Interesting...

Kartion grinned, and rubbed his face.

"At least you weren't hurt..."

Kartion then slapped Murdock back using the Force.

Murdock rubbed his cheek at the sting. "Now I am. So we are even."

Kartion smiled.

"Indeed we are, good powers you've got though."

"Thank you, I know from stories you have a wide variety of powers yourself," Murdock said.

"If he does anything more we'll be picking Sith out of our hair," Kurt told Daniel. "I can see it on Salazar's face."

Kartion grinned.

"Indeed I do. I could kill everyone here if I really wanted too, but it's a Birthday party, and I'm not that harsh."

"You'd be dead before you even tried," Salazar growled.

"You sure are different from most sith," Murdock said. "From what I've heard an average sith wouldn't waste anytime, he would have busted in through the door and attacked everyone."

"Yeah. Uh, did you just say Salazar?" I smirked. "Nice name."

Kartion laughed at Salazar.

"Yeah. Uh, did you just say Salazar?" I smirked. "Nice name."

"Yeah, we call him Slytherin for fun," Kurt grinned.

Disgusted, Salazar headed off elsewhere.

"Tortuga space control, this is NSS Blue, requesting permission to land." said the communications officer. "This is the NSS Blue from the Kukai Foundation of the Greater East Asian Republic of -Noir-, requesting permission to land."

The large military corvette, converted into a sleek silver civilian shuttle,reduced its speed and slowly glided towards the planet. The crew was busy scurrying around the ship getting ready to land, preparing the motorcade, prepping the security detachment, and other menial jobs.

"About time..." muttered Alex Akashi, the young heir to the super conglomerate Kukai Foundation. "I was getting bored."

Alex quickly switched the intercom off and went back and jumped onto his bed.

"Man...It's been over a year since I've seen those guys...Salazar, Murdock, Valerie, ...Jenna..." he quickly shook out of his daze. "Heh..."

He closed his eyes as the corvette made its approach closer and closer to the planet's atmosphere.

"NSS Blue, permission to land granted," the reply came.

"Thank you Tortuga control." said the communications officer, as he closed the line and reclined back on his chair. "Man...Finally a break."

The silver corvette sliced through the atmosphere and emerged in the planet glowing orange and red from the friction. It quickly slowed down, with the help of several rockets located around the smooth metal hull of the ship.

"Deploy landing gear, have the landing detachment approach the rear exit and get ready for landing." ordered the captain, who sat high up perched on the hydrolic captain's seat.

Once the corvette had landed, and had the perimeter secured on landing, the crew opened the passenger's hatch and lowered the stairs. Shielding his eyes as his eyes adjusted to the sun, Alex Akashi slowly walked out of the ship.

"Mr. Akashi, you will have to walk from here to the governor's residence, there are no vehicles allowed." said a representative of the Tortuga space port.

"I see...No problem." said Alex, who opened and adjusted the collar of his jacket. "Shouldn't be too far."

Alex started to walk to the residence then quickly turned around to face the fireteam that was ordered to watch over him.

"I can take care of myself guys...I'll just call you when I need some help..." snapped Alex. "So, just stay here."

Alex wiped his brow and rebuttoned the top of his jacket, brushing off any dirt or dust if any that had accumulated during his walk up the residence. He stretched out his hand to knock on the large wooden front door, but had jumped as it was opened for him right when he was about to knock.

"Welcome, Mr. Akashi. We were informed of your arrival from the Tortuga space port officials." said the doorman.

"Uh, ok..." nodded Alex, as he entered the building.

"Hey Alex," Salazar said, he'd been headed out after the Sith incident and had seen him come in. "I was beginning to think you weren't coming."

Alex jumped as he looked around the room for the person who was calling out for him.

"Hey Alex!"

Alex looked over to his left and saw Salazar heading towards him. "I was beginning to think you weren't coming." Salazar said.

"Hey! Salazar, long time no see." replied Alex, as he shook Salazar's hand. "The trip took me longer than expected. So, what's new? What have I missed?"

Murdock walked away from Kartion, and helped himself to a few drinks. He stood there, looking around at everyone else. He didn't know many... no he didn't know any of them really. He took a sip of his punch and continued to glance at everyone.

"Not much other then a Sith tried dropping Murdock on me," Salazar said.

"Dropping Murdock on you? How's that?" asked Alex. "Oh, do you know if anyone else from the group is here?"

"Some kind of evil Sith trick," Salazar shrugged. "Yeah everyone but Angelica."

"Ah, I see..." replied Alex. "So...What's to do here? Who and where's the birthday boy?"

"That would be moi," Kurt said, popping into view. He extended his hand. "Prince Kurt, pleased to meet you."

The Wolf One exited fold above Tortuga DN. In the back of the ship was Kurt's gift and it was a huge box, too.

“Tortuga space control, this is the Wolf One, requesting permission to land." said Lord JWolf (http://www.freewebs.com/wolfamerica/Lord_JWolf.JPG). “I don’t know which name y’all have down. Lord JWolf or Master Jason Scott Wolf."

"Wolf One we have your name on record, permission to land granted,"

"Alex Akashi, of the Kukai Foundation, in -Noir-. It is an honor to meet you." said Alex as he bowed his head slightly and accepted the handshake. "So, how does a person like Salazar here get to know a prince?"

"Well before his folks shipped him off to Martizar, we went to Exetergrecia Academy together," Kurt told him.

"Something like that," Salazar said. "Of course we'd met a few times before the academy."

"I see..." nodded Alex. "So, how's life here in DN, you two? Salazar, been some time since that island incident hasn't it..."

"Roger that, Tortuga space control." said Lord JWolf. "Computer take us down and make it a nice landing." as he put his sunglass on and fixed his black leather cowboy hat.

"Will do, Jason." said a computer voice.

The Wolf One enter the atmosphere of Tortuga DN and exited the clouds as the sun shot through the ship.

"That lovely. The last time I was here, me and the others were in a battle with Dark Lords." said Lord JWolf.

The ship's landing gears deployed before he was near the landing port. As the Wolf One landed on the nearest landing pad, Lord JWolf was near Kurt's gift. It was about 5 feet tall, 6 feet long and 4 feet wide. Plus, it has wheel on it and small holes all around the box.

Merlin, Lord JWolf’s pet King Cobra , was under his duster and relaxed in a hidden pocket just his size.

The back door of the Wolf One open and Lord JWolf pushed the box out of the ship.

"Sir, do you need help?" asked a representative of the Tortuga space port.

"No but thanks for asking.” said Lord JWolf.

“Ok.” said the representative of the Tortuga space port as he walked away for Lord JWolf.

Using the Force, he pushed the box to the governor's residence. Before he got to the front door of the governor’s residence, the door opened.

“Welcome Lord JWolf. Need help with that?“ said the doorman.

“Just make sure nobody mess with it but Prince Kurt.” said Lord JWolf with a smile. He move to box to left side of stairs and locked the wheels, so it didn’t move back. The he walk in the door and head for the party.

"This is just a colony, DN itself is elsewhere," Kurt pointed out.

"Yeah it has, its been fun since," Salazar shrugged. "Mostly failing at telekinisis and blowing things up, you?"

Having resolved the whole issue with the dark sith lord, Valerie and Haushinka wandered off to the bar. When she got there she asked about some water for her cougar.

Lord JWolf walk into to the main hall and stopped. He looked around the room and saw Daniel Masaki.

Good to see him again. thought Lord JWolf

Then he saw Prince Kurt and started to walk over to him. A weird felling sent chills down his back.

Kartion is here. said Lord JWolf in his mind. But he continue towards Kurt. He walked up to the group and wait to say something.

"Ah, I see...It's a pretty large colony...Oh, I forgot your gift on my ship...I couldn't bring it with me at the moment, because of certain circumstances..." said Alex. "I'll send someone over here with it later, if that is ok with you."

She hadn't specifically contacted him since... well, since the island. What had happened between them had never had time to grow, and it had somehow felt awkward to pry further into his emtions than the normal awareness she had of everyone in the group. It occurred to her, howeer, that this was something that should probably be resolved, so she headed over to him.

Since she knew where everyone was looking, she contrived not to be in any of those spaces (done almost subconsciously, while thinking of other things) - an art she had spent some time perfecting at home, and was quite useful in politics. For instance, she had spent some time spying on the Prime minister's son, who was serving as Aide to Resquides Commander-general. It had been quite enlightening - it seemed he was prone to spending time on anti-government websites. Of course he *could* have merely been thinking of counter-measures, but there wasa department for that...

And with that train of thought she was behind Alex. "Hi." She said.

"That's fine with me," Kurt smiled and noticed another guest. "Greetings Lord JWolf." Shadow meowed in his arms.

The barman was only too happy to give Haushinka a water dish.

"That's fine with me," Kurt smiled and noticed another guest. "Greetings Lord JWolf." Shadow meowed in his arms.

"Hello Prince Kurt. It is good to see you again." said Lord JWolf. "Your gift is outside. Too big to come in."

"Thank you," Kurt smiled. "Perhaps we should go and open it now?"

Shadow purred as the prince ran a hand down his back.

"Sure. It is by the front door." said Lord JWolf.

Shadow leapt out of Kurts arms and run upstair. "Guess he doesn't like the idea of going out in the cold," he smirked and headed out the door to open the present.

"Guess not." said Lord JWolf as he walked beside Kurt.

Using the Force, he move the gift in front of Prince Kurt and place the door facing Kurt. Inside a baby black rhino was asleep, who was only five months old.

Kurt looked at it. "Wow, a baby black rhino?" he asked.

"Yeah, he is five months old. And there is book on the outside at the back, it will show how to take care of him." said Lord JWolf. "Didn't know what you would like? So, Emma said to get you something rare. Like it?"

"Wow... I'm speechless," Kurt said. "He'll be a handful when he's older, I like a good challange, but yeah I like him, it is a he isn't it?"

"Yeah, he is a male." said Lord JWolf "His father is one of my pets. I was five year olds when I got him and he was about a year old. Now, he is like a big puppy dog to me."

"At least I know where the father is," Kurt smiled. "I think I'll call him Thor, after my godbrother."

"His father name is Exodus." said Lord JWolf. "Kurt, did I fell Kartion in there?" Merlin's head move out of Lord JWolf's duster and looked a Kurt.

Alex started to stare into space, as Salazar and Kurt started to talk to one of the new arrivals, he slowly backed himself out of the group, but pretended to be listening intently. As he stood about a pace away from the group, goosebumps were forming all over his body, he sensed something unexplainable yet familiar approaching him. He couldn't explain the feeling, it was like a third eye or something, maybe like Spider Man, but quickly brushed it aside and went back to his faux attention stance.

"Hi"

Then his heart jumped as he heard a familiar voice, of which he last heard on the island before he stepped into the portal. Since then, he had spent much of his time with the familiy business by help managing the Research and Development Department of the Kukai Foundation. Learning the tricks of the trade in the R&D department from an uncle. But on his free time, he had spent much of it searching for Jenna. He knew that she was from Requide, but she was always moving from one locale to another, never stopping long enough for a trace to work, moving in the shadows. She was practically MIA, Alex would say. He had dropped many chances to hook up with another girl, because, well his mind was stuck on finding an exact reason why. Probably it was because he liked Jenna's "uniqueness," if there's such a word to describe her, compared to the perky, plucky, and pretty girls who would crowd around him. Or it could probably be because he just seemed to latch onto a person he some how is invisibly attracted to, the work of some universal being. Fate, one may say. The Invisible Hand...No...That's Adam Smith, blast the macro economics they teach at the academy. Well, there was no way he could explain it, it was just that someone can just feel attracted towards a person no matter what the circumstances, good or bad. Curse this freaking cliche, he would say to himself, but no matter what he could do, nor anybody else who had contracted the "curse," that same repetitive cliche would still exist as long as there are intelligence beings, in this age of space travel and other supernatural and "sci-fi junk" (Alex was into watching the old cheesy sci-fi films of from an earlier generation and poking fun at them).

Alex turned around and saw Jenna standing behind him.

"Jenna! Long time no see, I've missed you." said Alex, who almost stumbled on the first few words. "Where have you been? I have been trying to contact you for ages?"

Well, that was awkward, Alex thought to himself. Now got to wait for the reply.

Val sat at a stool across the room from Alex while Haushinka got a drink. she watched as he nearly bumped into Jenna. She thought "hmph of course he stutters like that, he has a crush on her, never thought much of relationships, and I don't care to" as she was unknowingly fingering the dessert eagle hidden in her MOLLE vest, along with the pistol she had a KA-BAR knife, a couple of clips, a small surgical kit (in case anyone needed it. She learned basic field surgery when she joined the NoF mercenaries), she also had some extra ammo for her rifle (which she forgot to take out, cause she left her rifle behind), an empty canteen, and a couple other odds and ends used for wilderness survival.

OOC: The return of another familiar character (who made her "appearance" on the enigmatic island). NoF, i'll need to slightly, very very slightly take over your character to make this post work...Is that ok with you?

"You're right, you're absolutely right." said a familiar voice, that Valerie quickly picked up. "It hasn't changed...Day in day out...He's so obsessed over her. Makes me sick to my stomach...Well...If I had one."

Valerie could hear a grunt on her left.

"I haven't seen you since the island, what's new?" said the voice again.

"Well then I guess I'm doing two things, first, I'm getting you your bitch back, secondly cause you seem to have forgotten certain things about me, I'm showing you and the world just what I can do." after she finished saying this she slammed the knife through her hand, so it was stuck slightly in table, through her hand. As soon as the knife entered her hand, she screamed "MOTHERFUCKER!!!!" and yanked on the knife, only pulling it half out. She tugged on it again and pulled it the rest of the way out. Haushinka jumped up on the the table and started smelling her masters bloody hand, which was already mostly healed. Several other party goers ran up to the now bloody table, where Val sat.

"Ok, seriously...Stop and go the bathroom quickly..." said Sakura, ugently. "I saw one over there...By the wall."

Valerie nodded, realizing her situation. She slowly propped herself, with blood gushing from her arms as she stood up and started to walk towards the bathroom, leaving a trail of blood behind her. Once entering the empty bathroom. Valerie quickly locked the door and started to laugh, slightly flinching from the hundreds of deep wounds she inflicted upon herself. Suddenly, the wounds began to close, after a few seconds later, she was completely healed.

"You always like making a scene..." said Sakura. "I don't know why I always have to put up to you, plus it's a pain to keep healing you...But...It's just interesting inciting you...And funny seeing everyone's reactions...Especially that old guy in the grey suit...It looked like he was going to pee his pants...Blood-phobe maybe?"

Kartion heard the comment and growled a little.

Salazar soon noticed that he had become detatched from his friends from Martizar. He didn't notice when that had happened, but he guessed it was after meeting the Sith freak.

Kurt nodded, "He just showed up," the prince said. "Couldn't get rid of him so we're keeping a very close eye on him."

"I will keep a closer eye on him for y'all." said Lord JWolf "I'm going back inside. You coming?" He is waiting for Kurt's answer before he went in.

"Sure," Kurt nodded. "If you want to kick his arse, do it outside."

"All I need is to have Merlin bite him and he is gone." said Lord JWolf as he started walking in.

"The quicker the better as long as only he gets hurt," Kurt said, going back inside.

Back inside, the music had died down as the band took a break.

Lord JWolf just laughed after he hear what Kurt. “I mean, he will be died.” Then he started looking for any overhang for him to sit on and watch the whole room.

"Well as long as no one else is hurt," Kurt said, seeing the band downing tankards of ale at the bar. "And as long as you enjoy yourself too."

"I will." said Lord JWolf. "And nobody but Kartion will be hurt."

"Thank you," Kurt nodded and looked around for Quatre. Finding him, he teleported over.

"Wondered where you'd gone to," the blond said.

"Had a few people to see," he replied.

Kartion got another Correlian Ale and downed it whole. Shaking his head, he looked around, and spotted JWolf.

"That freaking weirdo again!?! Sometimes I wonder why I bother anymore..."

She smiled at him, but something was nagging at the corners of her emotive ability. Something was... weird. She concentrated on showing no outward signs of discomfrt as Alex started to answer, and tried to locate the source.

Noir - WTF? Your sakura plot is getting really weird. What's she doing with Valerie? it's only that Jenna has to get some of that through the link, but I can't do that if *I* don't understand it. Besides which, i'm thinking of inserting the character I want to link with Jenna's in this thread, which will make for amusement if Alex misinterprets things, but it's the Sakura plot that I really want to clear up.

Seeing Kartion by the bar, he slowly walk on to him. People walk in front of him by Lord JWolf didn't stop looking Kartion.

"Kartion, you’re the weirdo here." said Lord JWolf.

Kartion just laughed.

"I'm a sith, you're a freaking vampire that looks like he came from a 8-bit console game..."

Kartion had another drink.

"But anyway, it's good to see you're the same as I left you. How've you been?"

Lord JWolf just laughed at 8-bit console game part.

"Fine. The last time I saw you was on Klatooine," said Lord JWolf ", running from Andrew. Right?"

Kartion tilted his head.

"Nope, I ended our duel, because my weak apprentice fell to Daniel, I had to save him," he then shook his head, "He was thankful, and accepted his punishment. He didn't even change facial features as I sliced his arm off"

I scowled, coming in with some punch. "A little harsh, isn't it?"

"That is the best apprentice you ever had over there." said Lord JWolf as he pointed at Daniel. "But you mess that up and went to the Dark Side."

Kartion grinned.

"I didn't mess up, in fact, Daniel is here because of me..."

He looked at Daniel.

"Yes, I taught you most of what you know, before I went dark, and hey, I always was dark. And my apprentice...well, he felt it suiting."

From where he stood, Kurt could keep an eye on them.

"Yeah, you did teach him right way. The Jedi way." said Lord JWolf. "Because I'm a vampire I should be on the Sith side not Jedi side. But I can't stand a Sith."

"Then leave my presence then JWolf, you don't have to be near me"

"If you where a true Sith, nobody in this room would be alive. So, to me you're not Sith." said Lord JWolf. "You're just a Jedi with some problems."

Kartion shook his head.

"Then you're an ignorant fool JWolf. Sith just wield the Force differently, and hey, it's Kurt's birthday party, I wouldn't want to ruin it. And if I did, I would have brought my apprentices along to watch."

Kurt decided to keep a closer eye on Lord JWolf too, it seemed like he was attempting to goad Kartion into doing something.

"Masters, quit arguing." I said, clearly irritated. "We're here to have fun, not to duel."

"There is your Sith part coming out." said Lord JWolf "One question, Kartion. How many apprentices do you have?"

Looks like we'll have to keep a closer eye on both of them, Kurt told Daniel.

Kartion shook his head.

"Daniel's right, and more mature than you are. We're here to have fun JWolf, not confront each other. If you wish, after the party, we can go outside, and I can phase you 5KMs up in the atmosphere, and watch you plunge."

"Go have fun then. You have to think different things to do somebody." said Lord JWolf "I will be outside, if y'all need me." as he walk to the nearest door and walk out. He pulled out Cuban cigar as the door shut behind him and lit it.

I sighed. This rivalry is going nowhere...

Kartion smiled as JWolf left.

"Thank god for that..."

Patting Daniel on the shoulder, he gestured to a table.

"Come Daniel, I'm eager to hear of your recent endeavors."

Eamonn's eyes widdened. "You... I thought I felt you here, you've got some nerve showing up here," he scowled.

I began telling him about the odd godlike creatures called the Norns, and how they screwed us up by sending us into a really, really horrible version of the Harry Potter series. Case in point, the Gryffindors and Slytherins were almost mirror images of their normal selves.

"Wouldn't miss Kurts party for anything," Eamonn replied and stayed to hear about Daniel's version of events.

"Well believe it kiddo, ask Kurt, I gave him some very nice presents."

I grinned. "Well, looks like things are lightening up."

I was surprised at Kartion's fit of rage, and ready to use the Force or my lightsaber to restrain him if I could. "You all right, Kartion?"

"I'm not little dude...I haven't been for a year."

He looked up at Daniel, and Daniel realised. Kartion hadn't emphasised on the 'little dude', it was soft and friendly, as it was, and his eyes were gentler, his face less strained.

"I'm sorry mate, I'm sorry for everything I've done throughout this past year. I'm sorry for abandoning you, for fighting you, for s, for becoming what I am..."

He then looked away and bit his lip hard. He couldn't cry, and so instead, he grit his teeth hard, and sighed.

When Valerie woke up, from passing out due to blood loss, she was laying on the floor of the locked bathroom. In there were several toilets, a broken mirror, and a crack in the wall where a mirror used to be. Haushinka was in the bathroom as well laying against Vals cold body, keeping her warm.
"Hey there Haushinka! thanks for keeping me warm, must of lost more blood then I thought" she said slightly wondering where Sakura went.
She opened the door to the bathroom and stepped into the crowd of people who wondering where her cuts went, and why she had been in there for twenty minutes. She looked around for a minute then suddenly she heard twelve explosions happen outside. She was posotive nobody else heard them. She went outside with Haushinka, and saw Salazar and Murdock outside. Hmmm, what was that Sakura had said about Salazar, she couldn't remember, but was sure it would come to her in a minute or two.

Noir - WTF? Your sakura plot is getting really weird. What's she doing with Valerie? it's only that Jenna has to get some of that through the link, but I can't do that if *I* don't understand it. Besides which, i'm thinking of inserting the character I want to link with Jenna's in this thread, which will make for amusement if Alex misinterprets things, but it's the Sakura plot that I really want to clear up.
