Murdock's body, suspended in cyrogenics lab. No beat came from his heart, no breath came from his lungs. No pulse, nothing. How could he still think then? Why was his mind still working?

A doctor sat at a desk, and suddenly the lights above him, and the screens around him went off. He was alone in the dark, he spun around in his chair, confused. In the distance he heard a giant thunk

The doctor opened the door to the room where Murdock's body was being kept, and he found the door to it smashed open, with Murdock no where to be seen.

"A draw." I said sheepishly as I picked up my lightsaber. "I suggest putting Val under 24-hour guard for the time being. She could still be of use against Lady Nocturne's forces."

"I will keep an eye on her." said Lord JWolf "I like her kitty." as he winked his right eye.

I fell down in realization. Getting back up, I headed to my fighter, and hopped into the cockpit, while faithful Rocky started it up.

"Whenever you're ready." I said to Kurt over comlink.

Behind him, Elrohir and Zathar climbed in and sat down. Eamonn had yet to show up.

The three of them then head down to the space port.

"Ok, he's coming." I said to Kurt.

"Nice of you three to show up," Kurt said as they slumped down in the shuttle.

"Right." I said, increasing throttle output. I lifted off, heading into the sky.

The shuttle lifted up from the spaceport and soon broke through the clouds. Eventually breaking through the atmosphere they could see the 'Ayreon' waiting for them. Soon they had landed in the docking bay and started climbing out.

"Alright you lot, you can go pick your rooms now," Kurt sighed and watched as they rushed off.

I entered the starship after the shuttle, landing in the docking bay and disembarking. "Well, we're back in action again."

"True, that." I said. "So where in Draconis Nightcrawlis are you going?"

"Straight to the capital, Exetergrecia," Kurt told him. "It's actually the easiest place to keep a low profile, remember the vampire sim?"

Val walked up to JWolf and Haush, who met her with an enthiusiastic purr. She moved her cloak a little, so her flesh couldn't be seen as easily through the blood soaked holes.
"I understand I'm heading out with you," she said to JWolf as Haush rubbed up against her leg.

"Yeah, I'm your guardian vampire. You ready?" said Lord JWolf as got off his knees.

"Anytime, I just need to make a short stop at NoF, seeing as I'm never going to go there again, I want to pick a few things up," she said scratching Haush's head, who seemed to heal up nicely. "Just a quick question, when you, I'm assuming you did it, healed her, did you take the bullets out?"

“Just show me the way to NoF and we will be there in no time.” he said. “The silver bullets went through. She got lucky because they did not hit any vital organs.” said Lord JWolf.

"Consider it done," she said, "So where is the vehicle we are taking?"

"At the spaceport and it is my personal spaceship called Wolf One. Follow me, Val." said Lord JWolf as he headed to the front door.

She and Haush followed him to the Wolf one.

Murdock ran into the palace, and searched throughout the entire place. Valerie was not there anymore. He ran into the main entrance and glanced around, he couldn't see her at all. He fell onto his knees, and looked up at the sky, and cursed.

As they headed to spaceport, they passed bodies of the attackers. What waste of life and human blood. He thought to himself. It took a little bit to get to the space port. It was about 300 yards away for the Wolf One Pushing a button on his data pad, he back ramp was lowered and Lord JWolf stopped to the right of the ramp. “Ladies first.” he said as he pushed another button to fire the engine up.

IC: She pointed to Earth, whence the the map enlarged, and she pointed out a small nation in the Allied Celtic States. After this she took off her cloak, and pulled a sewing kit out of her MOLLE vest.

Valerie thought about it for a minute and said "Lanier (Lun-ear)...................I think." She noticed that he was checking her out, but didn't do anything, she figured she could use it to her advantage later. She took off her shirt, revealing a sports bra, and scars across her back. She fished in the sewing kit for brown thread that matched her shirt.

“My full name is Jason Scott Wolf. But I go by JWolf most of the time.” he said as he put the ship on auto pilot “If you need a place to lay low, you can stay in Wolf America.”

"A place to lay low would be very appreciated, I just need to get a few items first," as she said this she blinked her silver eyes while Haush streched her legs. After she finished sewing up her shirt, she rubbed her second most recent scar, on her ribcage just below her right breast. After she felt her scar she pulled her shirt on.

"Ok. Plus, we have mafias to work for, too." he said as he ran his hand thought his hair. Watching out of the corner of his eye, he saw her rubbing her ribcage. Think to himself, he said She is trying to test me. So, she can find my weaknesses.

"Well it seems like it's gonna be a long trip, so I'm gonna clear something up. Earlier when Daniel said it was a draw, it really wasn't, it was more of my being generous enough to let him live. You should ask him how it feels to have a knife ran across your throat sometime. Something only he and I have felt, and lived to tell about it, although I would have pressed harder, if you weren't holding Haushinka at the palace," she said laying back while Haush jumped up next to her.

“See you are nice.” said Lord JWolf “I was not holding her there, I was petting her. She is a nice kitty until she get pissed off.”

A computer voice went off over the comm. system. "ETA is in a hour."

"Well since I told her to do as they say, and since she was told not to follow me by a guard, she didn't have much choice, although if he had killed me Daniel might be sporting some wounds that wouldn't be pretty. Somewhere along the lines of a torn out throat," they chatted for about 55 minutes, when NoF asked for the clearence codes, Val quickly responded "The badger is loose in the hut." meaning that she was a friendly, but the codes would need to be changed afterwards. Then they arrived at Val's house, a small shack in the forest used mostly for storage and living quarters when she needed to. She told JWolf she would be back in a minute.

Valerie stepped into her shack, and looked around, everything was there, her gun vault seemed to be unopened, her bed was just the way she left it, that blood stain was still on the carpet from the deer Haush had caught, there was a fridge in the back, and of course her desk was there, left untouched. She climbed down into her vault, not very big, but big enough to house her weapons. She grabbed a large duffel bag and put two FNP90's in there, along with multiple magazines. She stuffed two MP5's and multiple clips in the duffle bag. She also threw several boxes of various types of ammunition along with an M1014 shotgun and several belts of ammmuntion for an M60. She put the M60 up through the hatch, and on to the floor of ground level. She glanced around the room to make sure she had picked up the majority, when she noticed her two Browning BDM's , and added them to the mix, along with some extra boxes of ammo. She was going to leave the M16's, and AK47's, when she decided to grab an M16, and a silencer. She zipped up the bag and hoisted it onto the floor above her. She grabbed her M40A3 and slung it over her back and climbed the ladder to the floor above. Closing the vault she left the weapons sitting there for a minute while she grabbed a backpack and stuffed some clothes in it. She went to the fridge and pulled out a few deer steaks for Haush, and wrapped them up with a cloth, and stuck it so it was hanging off of the barrel of the M60. Before she attempted to pick the load up and carry it outside she went over to the desk and opened a drawer, and pulled out two similar objects that were in an envelope, her Biological fathers dog tags, which she had never looked at, and her dog tags, that offered no more explination then Valerie #21130-24621. She stuffed them in a pocket in her MOLLE vest, and reached back into the desk and pulled out another KA-BAR, several more shurikens, and several more darts and placing them in their respective places. She went over to the weapons and hefted the heavy duffel bag over her shoulder with a grunt. She then grabbed the M60 and balanced it over her other shoulder. She walked out of the shack carrying a Backpack, a duffel bag, her M40A3 slung over her back, and the M60 with the meat on the end resting on her shoulder. She put all of this in the Wolf One and asked JWolf if he had a cold place to store the meat for Haush.

"Yeah, how could I forget?" I asked with a smile.

Lord JWolf has put Merlin in his cage and took his duster. Without his duster on, his two Colt Single-action Army Revolvers in shoulder holster and his two Beretta 93R automatic pistols at the back of his belt could be seen. His thorn tattoo start at the top of his right arm and goes half way to the elbow. Each thorn counted as person Lord JWolf had killed. After he hanged the duster on hook, he start helping put Valerie’s arsenal in the back in hidden compartment.

Damn she has a nuff weapons to supply a small army. He said to himself. My kind of woman.

“Val, is that all of it?” asked Lord JWolf.

"Well Finrod can control fire, even create it without being in dragon form," Eamonn explained. "Namus can hack into and control any computer with his mind, doesn't need any control panels to tap into."

"Not bad." I said. "Fire and hacking."

"Come on, its a long journey between here and Draconis Nightcrawl via the jumpgate," Eamonn warned. "Better get some rest."

"My, my, I have not heard anyone curse like that since Prince Kurt was defeated in a sword fight against Salazar," came Master Elanessë's voice. "Revenge is never a good idea no matter what was done to you."

Eamonn led Daniel down to to the guest room they had shared during their previous journey on the 'Ayreon'.

"Getting a bit of a habit really," Eamonn said as he sat down on the bed. He closed his eyes and flopped backwards. "Man I'm knackered."

"Yeah, me too." I said. In minutes, all one could hear is my snoring.

The ship jolted as it entered hyperspace. Something appeared to fall over in Eamonn's wardrobe, that was followed by a low groaning noise. A shiver went up Eamonn's spine as he heard it. He climbed over to Daniels bed and shook him to wake him up.

"Dan wake up,"

"Ramen, please." I was still asleep, so I continued to dream. Eamonn shook me harder, and the dream popped, awakening me. "Wha-what is it?"

I rubbed my eyes in the darkness.

"There's something in the wardrobe," Eamonn told him. "I didn't want you to be asleep incase it attacked."

“Val, is that all of it?” asked Lord JWolf.
"Almost all of it, "she said and rann back in. Several minutes later she came out carrying a briefcase, another desert eagle, Haush's water dish, and another steak for her for now. "Thats it," she said.

"There's something in the wardrobe," Eamonn told him. "I didn't want you to be asleep incase it attacked."
"Huh?" I asked, confused by sleepy fog, then I got it. Interrupt my sleep will you..."ALL RIGHT! COME OUT OF THERE, BAKA!"

Whatever was in the wardrobe shuffled and banged against the door.

“All right.” said Lord JWolf. “It will take five hours to get to own next location. The computer will take us to space then engage the fold drive.” Taking off his shoulder holster and placing it a gun rack. “I’m going to take nap. You can do what ever you want, just don‘t touch anything in the cockpit.” as he place his other pistols and his lightsabers in the gun rack. He pulled the door down and locked it. Kicking under the gun rack, a compartment open and bed slide out. He sits down on the bed and takes his boots then lays down and closes his eyes.

Wolf One takes off and enters space. Then the computer engages the fold drive and heading towards DN's capital.

Eamonn nodded and slowly moved over to the wardrobe. His hand trembled as he reached over and grabbed the handle, quickly he pulled the wardrobe open and a large bearded man stumbled out and fell to the floor. A large warhammer clattered to the floor behind him.

"Ok, guess we found where Thor went to," Eamonn remarked.

Thor groaned, "Eamonn, boy, is that you?" the God asked. "Some party Kurt's having." he then tried getting up, "Must have out drunk a few breweries, where am I?"

Eamonn shook his head in disbelief.

"We're on the Ayreon," Eamonn told him.

Thor raised an eyebrow, "First time I woken up in a wardrobe aboard a ship," he announced, looking rather pleased before seeing who was with Eamonn. "Daniel friend, it is good to see you."

Val watched as JWolf layed down and went to sleep. She tossed Haush a steak, which she devoured pretty quickly. Val pulled out her other DE and took the clip out of it, and commenced taking it apart to clean and oil it. She left Murdocks blood stains on it, just to increase the intimidation factor. Although now that she thought about it, people were already pretty intimidated by her. Probably something to do with the cougar, the rifle, and the cloak that looks like, and is concealing various weapons. She put her DE back together, and holstered it. Her vest now had a KA-BAR and a DE on each side. She grabbed the BDM's and put them in place of the DE's. She drew on of them quickly, and put it back, practicing several times to get the feel for the familiar gun, since it had been a bit since she had used it, and would probably over compensate for the kick of the weapon.

Lord JWolf was not really asleep, he just had he eyes closed. He is listen to Val’s heartbeat and the cougar’s heartbeat. It looks like they listened and stayed out of the cockpit. he said in his mind. Now, to play the trump card and she will be mine.

He started twisting and turn on the bed as sweat was going down his forehead. After about fours minutes of that, he shot off of his back and yelled “Nooooooooo. Get your hands of Val or I will kill you.”

Val payed no mind to JWolfs moaning, figuring that he was having a bad dream, or testing her. She didn't think his heart sounded right for someone who was sleeping, but then again he wasn't exactly like most humans. She thought he was nice, in his own way, but didn't really care what he thought of her, cause she decided if she was gonna be able to manipulate Dan, she would have to earn his trust, and messing with JWolf could be a trust breaker. She decided to get one of her other guns, and make sure it was in good condition, not that she was worried it wouldn't work. She grabbed an FNP90, and attached a silencer, to make sure it was the right one, and then took it off.

Good girl. She is going to be hard to get. he said in his mind as his head hit the pillow. But I think she like Dan. That girls are always go after him. This time is he going to sleep.

Valerie continued checking her guns, when she noticed that JWolf's heart beat had slowed down. So he was messing with me after all she thought to herself. She picked up the shotgun, and pumped a round into the chamber, then discharged it, and placed it back into the clip. Holding the shotgun in a firing position, she placed her right hand on top of the barrel, and swung the butt of it around at an imaginary foe.

OOC: she shoots left handed, so it's not wrong.

Hearing the clicking noise of the shotgun, Lord JWolf left hand hit the wal next to him. As the gun rack door shot upwards, Lord JWolf left hand was on the pistol grip-like handle of his SPAS 12. Open his eyes and look over at her, he asked "Playing with your guns?" as he took his left hand off of his gun.

"Yes, I am playing with my guns," she said bringing the shotgun down.

"Ok. Don't blow a hole in my ship by accident" said Lord JWolf as he sat up and looked at her. "Computer, get me the ETA." he asked.

“ETA is in four hours.”

“Good. Hey Val, you like my boy Daniel? Because ever girl, he runs into love him and calls him cute.” he asked as his heartbeat when back to normal. A normal heartbeat for Lord JWolf is almost nothing.

OOC: Going to bed.

"Their are some things a lady never says," she replied promptly. On a sarcastic note she added "I'll be sure to blow a nice big hole right over there," as she pointed at the outer wall of the ship.

In Resquide's military headquarters:

"Sir, a moment." Damien Merterre said calmly. He had grown up a lot from the admittedly obnoxious brat he had been - the army does that to you. Besides, the General was a good leader, if somewhat politically incapable. He was loyal to their Resquide and fought regardless of the current governments politics - good at it too. Resquide hadn't had many military conflicts so far - mainly border security problems, actually, but the General had come out of each with as few lives lost as could reasonably be expected, and a satisfactory conclusion all round.

The man in question looked up from his reports inquisitively. His grey streak barely showing through his sandy hair, he was powerfully built and had lost little of strength or intelligence of his youth. Damien switched on the TV set in the office. "We've been ordered to rescue the secretary general's daughter. Seems she's got herself caught up in a warzone or something. Jenna Pannove. Never heard of her."

The general frowned, leafing through papers absentmindedly. "Yes, the girl seems almost invisible, actually. I've been talking to Eugene and he mentioned her because she seems to have turned up in places she shouldn't be during the first year after returning from that odd boarding school. We never did find out what happened there satisfactorily. Anyway, after the first year she stopped turning up anywhere at all, which is rather more worrying."

Damien raised an eyebrow. "You think she's up to something?"

"Well, Eugene has his suspicions. I'm afraid even our weekly little chats haven't served to improve my, er, 'political radar' as it's called nowdays, however I must agree that his evidence shows behavior more becoming of a spy than a government official's daughter. You say she's in trouble? Excellent. We shall go ourselves. After all - she is the secretary general's daughter. We must make sure nothing untoward happens to her."

Damien smiled. "And if she can give us an alibi for the past year or so, we'll have one up on the Diplomacy and Intelligence department, eh?"

A lack of political savvy most certainly did not signify lack of intelligence. Damien felt glad he had applied himself to the job - the General would be a very useful man when the time came. But for now... the problem of Jenna.

They went to find a plane.

"Well...Like I said...No one has heard of Sakura since the island incident."

"Who says I haven't been heard of?" said a familiar voice. "Now don't say anything to Jenna...Just keep walking and acting normal."

"What do you want?" Thought Alex, trying not to act surprised. "What the hell are you doing here!?!?"

"Just listening in...Decided to finally say something when I entered the discussion..."

"So...Wait...You've been following me?" said Alex in his head. "What have you been up to since after the island?"

"Well...Nothing much...Just wandering here and there...Hanging out with Valerie...Keeping to my own business..." Hummed Sakura.

Alex continued to walk with Jenna through the garden until they came to a small house at one dead end within the garden's maze.

"Looks like it's a dead end..." said Alex to Jenna, while trying not to act to arouse suspicion that he was chatting with Sakura in his head.

"You know...I might have some fun with your little friend here..."

Sakura's voice disappeared within the confines of Alex's head. In her wake was a subtle headache that continued to grow every second that passed. Alex hesitantly placed his hand on his temple to massage it.

"Uh...Jenna...Is it ok with you if...Uh...We just rest inside here for a few minutes?"

Alex swallowed hard, fearing what Sakura was going to do to him.

"What am I going to do??? Jenna will get suspicious..." quickly thought Alex. "Ok...Gotta keep calm...I'll...I'll just tell her that the punch was spiked...Yea...Ugh...What the hell is Sakura doing!?!?"

ooc: Fine then I'll just assume Alex told Jenna everything he knew about sakura in the maze - she wasn't AWARE of most of the things going on, that's why I wanted Alex to explain stuff. She can't get information out of nowhere. Except, of course, when I choose to do this :P

IC: (back to the present)

Jenna sighed. Alex had been unconscious for a while now. What had been in the punch? She reached out across the maze but could not find the man who'd given it to them. Well, her power did have its limits. And this weird place wasn't helping. She damped down her emotions and tried to think.

'Alright. What he's told me about Sakura seems to signify a dangerous, although not originally malevolent, spirit - at large. She could be anywhere... but is all this such a coincidence? I can't forget what happened on the island. We were all here, when none of us had seen each other for years - and... wait. Murdock. I haven't... I haven't felt his link for... where is he?'

Fighting down the panic and the urge to pace, Jenna turned her power to Alex, looking into his head. Intoxication should be... around here...

She gasped and jumped back. He wasn't drunk. He wasn't drugged. He wasn't, in fact, there. Alex's whole personality had sunk below the surface, and in place there was...

He sat up, smiling without his eyes.

"Sakura." She said, as calmly as she could. "Nice to meet you at last. I've heard so much about you."

"Sir, I think you should see this..." said a masked scientist, as he quickly walked towards Professor David. "Subject 50A is running a code 5....Her pulse is reaching the red zone."

"What? What's going on? Are you sure those stats are accurate?" jumped the Professor.

"Yes, sir...It all started to happen...No interference from the outside...It's all internal...Her body is acting on its own accord."

"This isn't possible..." muttered the Professor as he rumaged through the files in his computer. At the same time pulling up the monitoring data that was streaming into his computer. "Processes 5 to 10 are down...Her blood cells are attacking the nano-machines..."

"Sir! The virus! Or what remains of it, in 50A, are multiplying..." said another scientist that had come running in. "It's multiplying so fast that our attempts to contain it are failing!"

"Cut all systems...Begin a code alpha quarantine...Use everything we got to stop the spread of the virus."

"Yes, sir...Right on it..." said the scientist, who then ran out of the door.

"Master Alex isn't going to be happy about this..." said the Professor under his breath. "Sakura...What the hell are you up to now?"

Alex's head lifted up from Jenna's lap, while the rest of his body arranged itself in a seated position.

"And the oh so infamous Jenna Pannove..." said Sakura, as she controlled Alex's body.

Alex's body stood up and walked to face Jenna, who was still seated on the couch. Alex's eyes staring at Jenna with a blank lifeless expression. He appeared as though he were supported by a puppet's strings.

"It was always strange to possess a boy..." said Sakura, as she held out Alex's hand and looked at it as if trying to analyze it. "Ok...Back to business...Or should I say...Fun..."

Alex lunged towards Jenna, pinning her to the couch.

"So...Jenna...How do you feel about Alex?" laughed Sakura playfully.

Jenna was silent.

"Hmmm...Not convinicing enough?" said Sakura. "Hmmm...What should I do...?"

Alex's face neared Jenna's until they were barely a few inches apart.

"Jenna...I love you..." said Sakura in Alex's voice. Alex stroked(right word to use?) Jenna's hair away from her face. "I loved you from the day I set eyes on you."

"Heheh...This is turning out just like those mangas Makie reads..." said Sakura to herself. "I'll be accused of plargiarizing..."

Jenna sat very still, fading the world out of focus as she gathered her energies to her mind - she barely even heard what Sakura/Alex was saying - although some part of her wondered whether saura was making this up or actually rummaging through alex's memories. She could push Sakura out of the way, but that would only hurt Alex. She had to get her out of his head. She surrounded his mind with her own unobtrusively, without touching it, so that Sakura would not detect her. It occurred to her that she needed a distraction or Sakura would get suspicious.

"What exactly are you trying to accomplish here?" She asked, letting the analytical, scientific portion of her mind, which required slight dissociation from her powers, take over. The rest of her carefully - oh-so-carefully sneaked a peek inside Alex's skull. She was only looking - she wans't touching anything, so Sakura couldn't feel her - right? It seemed when Sakura was actually posessing a body she was somewhat weaker outside the persons head, at least until she got used to it.

There! Alex was still in there - she had merely put him to sleep. If he could be pursuaded to wake up... but it had to be now, before Sakura had full control over his body.

"I'm not trying to accomplish anything, really..." said Sakura. "I just want to have some fun...I just drift around...Follow people...Cause mass havok...And etcetera..."

Still under Sakura's control, Alex moved closer to Jenna, as he kept her pinned down unable to move.

"I'm just really really...Bored..." said Sakura. "Causing mass chaos, political coups, and plain old mayham...Does have its limits..."

Ah - there it was. She had left some automatic functions to incorporate later - Sakura's spirit, or soul, or mind or whatever, had only just managed to transfer muscle control to her own long-unused body-functions mind sector. She obviously had no idea how to react to the male endocrine system... oh god. As he/she pushed closer Jenna suddenly realised exactly what Sakura had left under Alex's control. Where one mind part went, the others would follow - if she pushed hard enough at the same time... Damn, but this was going to be embarrassing later.

Never mind that. How much power was she going to need? She examined sakura's hold again - she was strong. Very strong. In fact, even with her little cheat code, Jenna realised she was going to have to tap her maintenance reserves. She didn't know if she had that much power in her... and she'd read awful things about people who tapped their life-force by accident.

'Oh well. Here goes nothing.'

She smiled sweetly at Sakura. "Yes, it does, doesn't it? Well, let us make it some what more interesting for you!"

Just before the word interesting she raised her hand, which was conveniently on her lap just below where Alex's body was pressing into hers, and at the same time her power - and with both, she reached up and SQUEEZED.

Murdock walked through the palace, his voice was different, it was more raspy this time. In his hand was a katana he had gnabbed off a wall, he was holding it in his right hand leaving it loose. He looked in every room, he still didn't know Valerie wasn't there.

"Where are you?! Come and get me! I'm ready!" He called out, but realized it was useless. He stood in one spot for a moment, then slashed out at a potted plant and sliced the vace in half. He then fell to his knees.

"God! Is there anyone here!?"

"And you too, Thor." I said, still a bit unnerved.

Thor poked Daniel in the ribs. "Still skinny, you need meat on you," he then said.

Master Elanessë still watched Murdock, he could tell that the teen was very troubled. Not surprising considering what had been done to him.

"The first step," he began. "Is to calm down."

Murdock heard the Master speak behind him, and nodded his head. He dropped the sword onto the ground, remaining kneeling. He rubbed his forehead, and let out a deep sigh. Then looked up.

"Whew," He said then took a deep breath. "This is better."

Master Elanessë nodded. "Revenge is the best thing in the world for you to want right now," he warned. "Your power, however, is very impressive."

Murdock turned around and looked at him. "Revenge is what I desire yet I know it is not the right path. My powers? I've nearly forgotten of my powers, I can never even remember dying. To me it was just like being knocked out, seeing many images... I saw so much yet I don't know what any of it is."

He looked at the ground, then his head jerked back up, he remembered something. "I remember someone speaking to me, he was speaking about, the...Destiny Orb."

He turned to the Master. "Master Elanesse, do you know anything about a Destiny Orb?"

Master Elanessë shook his head. "There are many myths that I have heard in my two thousand years, but that I am afraid would be new to me," he told Murdock. "Perhaps the Gods may know of it."

Murdock stood up, and turned around facing Elanessë. "Where can I speak with them? I need to do it quickly. Something tells me there is a dire importance with this...Destiny Orb."

"They usually meet in a cave on the Norns planet," Master Elanessë explained. "I would not want to send you there however, so it is fortunate that Odin is currently somewhere on this planet."

"How can I find him?" Murdock asked.

"Come with me," Master Elanessë said. "I know exactly where he is."

Murdock nodded and began to follow.

The world around Murdock began to spin and became a blur. Once it stopped, he found himself out in a snowy forest with Master Elanessë.

"Sorry but it would have been too long a walk for you," Master Elanessë explained.

An arrow wizzed past Murdocks ear and buried itself in a tree trunk behind him.

"Holy Crap!" Murdock said as he got in a crouch position and looked all throughout the woods. "Who's there?"

"Greetings Odin," Master Elanessë said.

Odin stepped through the overgrowth, "Ah, Master Elanessë," he greeted, before looking over at Murdock. "Sorry, thought you were a deer. Another dragon-boy from the academy I take it?"

"No," Master Elanessë said, shaking his head. "He has something to ask you."

"And that is?" Odin asked, putting away the bow.

"Apology accepted, uhm, sire," Murdock said bowing his head low. "Yes, I have a question I wish to ask you. I dreamt...well I guess you could call it a dream, about a Destiny Orb. Do you know what a Destiny Orb is?"

"Destiny Orb?" Odin pondered, scratching his bearded chin. "Ah yes, the Destiny Orb, n mythical Orb created by a long gone race. According the myth it records the history of the entire universe. Very useful but also very dangerous in the wrong hands. Why do you seek it?"

"Someone, or something, came to me in a dream," Murdock explained. "I don't know who, or what it was. He told me to go and find this Destiny Orb, he never said for what purpose. But the way he said it made it sound like it was a dire importance that I get this before anyone else finds it. My whole life I've been flung in different directions dealing with different confusing problems..."

He smirked. "Guess this is just another leap over the creek."

"The Norns can be rather odd at times," Odin told him. "The orb is held on a watery planet and is extremely hard to get to."

"I think I'm up the challenge," Murdock said with a smirk, he bowed once again. "Thank you Sire, I don't know how I can repay you for this information. I feel honored able to speak with a god."

He turned and looked at Elanessë. "Master, I think its time we head back to the palace."

"You do not need to repay me," Odin told him. With that he disappeared back into the forest.

Master Elanessë nodded, the forest began to spin around into a blur and soon they were back at the palace.

"I need to get to my ship, there's a Orb I need to catch," Murdock said with a smile. He bowed to Elanessë. "Thank you Master, you've done me so much help. I'd probably still be running around like a maniac if it wasn't for you. Thank you."

He smiled and Elanessë.

"If you ever need anything, do not hesitate to ask," Master Elanessë said and bowed

"I will do not worry," Murdock said, and turned around, running for the palace entrance, he stopped and slid to a halt, turning back the master. "Elanessë, if you could. Please send a message to Salazar about what's happened, as far as he knows I am still dead."

He then ran out the door and down the path, towards the spaceport, about to begin a new adventure.

Master Elanessë nodded and relayed the message to Salazar. As powerful a telepath as hmself, he was able to telepathically communicate with someone on a ship even while in hyperspace.

Thor poked Daniel in the ribs. "Still skinny, you need meat on you," he then said.
"Hey! Don't tell me how I should eat!" I growled. "I'm healthy enough!"

"Their are some things a lady never says," she replied promptly. On a sarcastic note she added "I'll be sure to blow a nice big hole right over there," as she pointed at the outer wall of the ship.

"Ok." he said as he got up and pushed the bed back in. "I will be the cockpit, if you need me." as he closed the gun rack door and locked it. Then entered the cockpit. The cockpit door shut behind him.

Inside the cockpit of the Wolf One…………

Lord JWolf opened up a comm-link to Kurt’s ship. “Wolf One to the Ayreon, we will meet you in four hours.”

"Hey! Don't tell me how I should eat!" I growled. "I'm healthy enough!"

Thor laughed. "Spoken like a true runt," he said and headed for the door. "Since I'm on the Ayreon, I may as well pay the bar a visit."

"Didn't take him long," Eamonn muttered as the God left their room.



Inside the cockpit of the Wolf One…………

Lord JWolf opened up a comm-link to Kurt’s ship. “Wolf One to the Ayreon, we will meet you in four hours.”

"Four hours? It's going to take a damn sight long then four hours to get to Draconis Nightcrawlis," came Kurt's reply.

"Not with a mini-fold drive. But I will put the engine on half power." said Lord JWolf as he tapped a few buttons.

A computer voice came over the comm system inside the ship. "ETA has been change to eight hours."

"Eight hours, now." said Lord JWolf.

Kurt shook his head before replying to Lord JWolf, "It's a four and a half day journey via the quickest route through the jumpgate," he replied.

"I got the wrong location then." said Lord JWolf. "Damn them space navy idiots all to Hell." he said to himself.

"Kurt, send me the right location." said Lord JWolf as the Wolf One dropped out of fold.

Thor laughed. "Spoken like a true runt," he said and headed for the door. "Since I'm on the Ayreon, I may as well pay the bar a visit."

"Didn't take him long," Eamonn muttered as the God left their room.
"Yeah. I'm going back to bed." I said, crawling back into the soft, comfortable...zzzzz.....zzzzz....

"I got the wrong location then." said Lord JWolf. "Damn them space navy idiots all to Hell." he said to himself.

"Kurt, send me the right location." said Lord JWolf as the Wolf One dropped out of fold.


Kurt smirked to himself. "Sending the coordinates right now," he said.

Eamonn closed the wardrobe before climbing back into bed.

"Thanks." said Lord JWolf as he programmed the new coordinates into the drive mainframe. His jaw dropped as looked a the screen

"Damn it, I will be there in four days. That mean I will not meet y'all. I will hide in the nearest system and wait for y'all to call." said Lord JWolf back to Kurt.

Reprogramming the newer coordinates into drive mainframe. Three days flashed on the screen.

"Three days then I will wait for y'all. See you then." he said.

Cloaking the ship before reengaging the fold drive. Wolf One enter fold for the second time.

He got up and walked to cockpit door. Opening it, he said to Val “The new ETA is in three days then we will have to wait a day for Kurt and them.” Then he turns and sits back in his chair.

Four days with her will be fun. He said in his mind.

"We'll see you there," Kurt replied.

About four and a half days later, the journey through the jumpgate was nearing its end. Kurt returned to the Pel'tak to oversee the ships arrival in the Alpha Einherjer system.

Eamonn walked out of one of the training rooms having practiced his lightsaber. He knew he should practice as much as he could as he expected it would come in use regularly, society had pretty much taken a turn for the worse in parts of Exetergrecia after Azazel took control. The young Jedi headed down to the dining hall to grab something to eat.

At about this time, I was testing my own skills to the limit in the holodeck with every weapon I had. In this scenario, demons have begun ravaging an innocent planet, and as a investigator into these events, I realized quickly that this was an all-out war against the humans as the Demon Lord sent his minions against the soldiers (Think Dynasty Warriors). It's also the highest settings I could set in the holodeck, because I don't want easy stuff.

Lightsaber skills, Force powers, ninjutsu, magic, I smirked as I fought as a psuedo-General, taking care of the enemy commanders while my 'soldiers' fought and died against the demon hordes.

"Go back home to your Lord," I laughed as the next commander died by my blade and his underlings stood in fear. "And tell him that Daniel Masaki's coming for him!"

They ran for it, and the soldiers cheered as they surged forward, not letting up against the enemy demons. I bounced into the trees, jumping from limb to limb to find the Demon Lord himself. Ahh! I came to a large Japanese-style palace, where my armies and the demon hordes were duking it out with bombs and swords, guns and magic.

Knives and bullets ripped into me, but that was an illusion as I used Kawarmi no Jutsu to avoid it, my "body" revealing itself as a log in truth. Then I concentrated, sending lightning down upon the demons that attacked me, shocking them to death. Finally...I reached the palace itself.

Until the Holodeck cut off.

"Aww man! Electrical overload requiring reboot!" I cried out as I read the diagnosis. "I knew I shouldn't have used so much electricity..."

I sighed, and let the holodeck cool itself down, using a towel to wipe my sweat off my face. I then headed out the door, and towards the shower room of the ship.

After four days of countless situps, pullups, and pushups, Val was glad to be almost done with her time on the ship. She had had just about enough of the stale, recycled air. She wanted fresh air, the woods, something, anything, outdoors like.

Around four and half days have passed, the Wolf One has been a system away from Draconis Nightcrawlis for a day now. Right now, Lord JWolf was in the cockpit will VR glasses on., that link him in the mainframe of his ship. Everything has a light blue tint to it. He is walking through the ’halls’ of the mainframe looking for the VR training room. As he stepped in front of the VR training room ‘door’, a hologram of woman appear beside him. The woman has the looks of Dark Elf female, pointed ears and slim body type wearing normal dark elf female armor.

“What program did you want to run?” she asked.

“Run Werewolf hunter V.1.5.” said Lord JWolf.

“Running now.” she said. The door slide open and Lord JWolf walked inside to find normal looking colors have took over. A small room with full of weapons came into his view. He looked around for a second then picked up a SPAS 12, loaded with buck shot, and placed it over his right shoulder. Then placed two Colt M1911A1, loaded with silver bullets, in his shoulder holster and couple of silver stakes, placed them in holders on his right leg. Before he walked into the next door, he picked up a Thompson M1A1. Then kicked the next door in. He entered into a small hallway…………

He continue down the hall until he ran into around door. Slowly opening the door then the door flies out at him. Lord JWolf starts rolling backward. Dropping the Thompson M1A1 as he rolled about 20 feet away from the door, he was still running back. He stopped rolling about 70 feet away from the Thompson. Doing a kick up, he land on his feet. Looking at the door, he watch as six foot tall werewolf came running out as him. “Hey doggy. Wanna play with me, I see.” JWolf said as he drew the M1911A1s. Waiting for the werewolf to get about ten feet in front of him, he fire. Bullets flew from the pistols and towards the werewolf. It tried to dodge bullets but in small hallway it could not do it. About half of the bullets hit. As the werewolf fell backwards, Lord JWolf drops the pistols and spins the SPAS 12 off his shoulder. Then catching it in mid-air, he walk up to the kicking werewolf. “Sorry dog.” he said as he placed the barrel of shotgun to werewolf’s face. He pulls the trigger of the gun, blood and brains go flying everywhere. Blood hits Lord JWolf right in face, all he did was smile.

“Program end, now.” said Lord JWolf.

Taking off the VR glasses, he looks out at the darkness of space. “That gets easier every time I do that.” After thinking for a little bit, then next thing to come out of his mouth was “I hope Kurt remembers to call me.”

Kurt looked out the view screen and saw nothing but space. Manouvering the ship he soon saw the planet, they were directly above the capital itself. The young prince let out a sigh, the last time he had seen his nation was when he escaped the prison his grandfather had held him in.

He tapped into the console to hail the 'Wolf One'. "Ayreon to Wolf One, we made it through the hypergate."

“Copy that, Ayreon. Will be with you in few minutes.” said Lord JWolf on comm-link, as he started powering up the fold drive.

On ship’s comm-link: “Val, we will be meeting up with Dan in little bit. Hope you look nice.”

Then the Wolf One entered fold and head to Kurt’s location. In five minutes, the Wolf One was beside the Ayreon. Deactivating the cloak, he wait for Kurt to do something.

"Lord JWolf, we'll bring you up to the Ayreon via transport rings," Kurt then told him. "Stand together and keep your arms and legs inside the rings."

"Ok." said Lord JWolf as he headed back to where Val was. Standing beside her, he said "Now, Kurt."

The 'Ayreon' moved above the 'Wolf One'. Kurt activated the rings and transported them to the rin transporter room where Wes was waiting.

"Welcome to the Ayreon," he greeted.

"Nice ship you got here." said Lord JWolf. "Where are we meeting Kurt at?"

OOC: DN, are there any female demons, you know what Kurt is, on your capital planet?

"Thank you, Kurt will be meeting you in the dining room," Wes told him. "The others will be there so he can discuss how we are going to go about this over dinner?"

OOC: Demon? He's an elf.

“Ok. Show us the way.” said Lord JWolf.

OOC: Kurt has a tail. Right? I'm going with stuff from the comics and other thing.

Wes nodded and led them through the many hallways to the dining room. While there were many people there, Kurt had yet to arrive.

"Feel free to sit down, except in the two chairs at the head of the table," Wes told him.

OOC: Yes he does, but here he is a royal elf, the last of his line of elves.

Lord JWolf sat down on the right side of table and a chair at front of table. So, he could hear every Kurt would say.

OOC: Damn, I want one of them to be Lord JWolf's second bride. Because Val wants Dan.

Wes went to sit down as Eamonn calmly entered the dining room and slumped down in a chair.

"He'll be down in a minute," Wes said.

Meanwhile Salazar was glaring at Valerie.

Lord JWolf watched Salazar glaring at Valerie. He still thinks, Murdock is dead. Murdock somehow healed himself and came back to live. he said to himself.

Kurt soon entered the dining room with his arm around Quatre. They went to sit down at the head of the table.

"Good to see you arrived safely," the prince said to Lord JWolf. "Now wheres Dan?"

Having finished my shower and pulled on clean clothes, I then ahemed, and apparated away. This time, I thought I'd try something a little fancy, so when I reappeared at the dining room, I added a little puff of white smoke to the entrance.

"Yo! I'm here, what's for dinner?" I asked, grinning.

"You are so turning into Kurt," Eamonn remarked.

Kurt smiled at him before say, "Lasagne."

Val felt Salazar staring at her, but it didn't phase her. She felt nothing for Murdock. She was holding her head high. Not neccesarily happy to be alive, but thrilled about being dead either. More of a thrill about being the killer of his best friend, and he could do nothing about for now.

"You are so turning into Kurt," Eamonn remarked.

Kurt smiled at him before say, "Lasagne."
"Good, good." I rubbed my hands as I sat down.

Salazar wanted to explode her right there and then, but no the others wouldn't be pleased about that and Murdock would probably want to kill her himself.

"First thing we have to dicuss is how to get planet side without bringing attention to ourselves," Kurt began.

Val looked at Dan and let out a little smile. She wasn't embarrassed about not having dressed up nice, not that she owned anything nice. She was wearing a plain white short sleeve T-shirt, and MARPAT military style pants. She had brought her KA-BAR with her, but was carrying it on her waist instead of her vest, which she decided not to wear to dinner.

"It will be easy for me, Daniel, and other humans to get on the planet. But the question is, how are we going to get you there?" said Lord JWolf. "That amulet is the only way to change you to your human look. Right? Remember where you last had it."

Kurt shook his head, "Too many places I could have last had it, could have dropped anywhere," he said. "I had it in Grimdale, even had it in Forge's lab, but I don't remember having it in Caer Chan Caddug."

“Well, it looks you have to sit out of this one.” said Lord JWolf. "That was a joke, Kurt. We will need you down there."

"I'll risk it if I have to," Kurt told him.

“All of us in one group would not be good. I say groups of four.” said Lord Wolf “Me, Daniel, Eamonn, and Valerie in one group. The other groups can be divide later.”

“Wait, did y’all find Thor? Maybe we could use him down there.” asked Lord JWolf.

Kurt shook his head, "Too many places I could have last had it, could have dropped anywhere," he said. "I had it in Grimdale, even had it in Forge's lab, but I don't remember having it in Caer Chan Caddug."
"Hey Kurt, didn't Grandpa give you something to help with your blue-skinned 'problem'?" I asked.

Kurt shook his head, "I've already been thinking of groups," he said. "You, Valerie, Wes and Remy. Me, Quatre, Dan, Eamonn and Elrohir, theres a reason for that."

He began digging into the lasagna, practically shovelling it down.

Val ate meagerly, she wasn't too hungry. She called a servent over, and asked for a raw steak for her friend, as Haush stepped out from under the table.

Lord JWolf finished his bottle of blood and got up. Walking down the table, he stop at stool and sat down. A western guitar laid beside it, JWolf picked it up and hit a few stings. Then he started Creed’s Weathered just without drums. And he does sound like the singer.

Val wasn't fond of creed. She instread almost pulled out her knife and experimented with pain, again, but decided not to due the fact it was dinner, and Dan was there.

Flustered, she had almost backed herself out of the scene when she realised she'd misread the situation. Alex wasn't ignoring her because he was embarrassed; he was just too busy trying to curl up in pain and get enough breath in his lungs to howl at the same time. And Jenna, brusquely pushing him away, was looking positively relieved.

"Lord JWolf, don't ever sing songs by shitty bands in front of me again," Kurt remarked, covering his ears with his hands.

I didn't bat an eye at the manners. In some cultures, that's a compliment, after all.

Lord JWolf finished the song but continue playing the guitar. Don't know what he is playing but it is just stings being put together to make something good.

"Kurt, we ready?" asked Lord JWolf.

Val finished her meal, and then finished off the last of her water. She glanced over at Dan who saw her and he blushed a little.

"Well I'd say we're just about ready," Kurt said, standing up. "We'll meet you guys down in the docking bay, I have to retrieve the belt from my room."

With that, he left the dining room with Quatre following.

Val looked at JWolf and said, "I need to get my things before we head out."

"Sure. I see if I can put the Wolf One in the docking bay." said Lord JWolf as he placed the guitar down. Then walking over to Wes and asked "Got room in the docking bay for the Wolf One?"

"Perhaps, we'll see first," Wes replied.

"Ok. Show the way then." said JWolf.

Wes nodded and stood up from the table. He then led Lord JWolf down to the docking bay that had once housed the Wing Fighters.

"I would say that it is big enough, yes?" he said.

"Yeah." he said as he pulled his datapad out and placed it in his left hand. "Got control of the Wolf One, now. We need to be in the control room, so we can open the doors and not get sucked out."

"Not pleasent," Wes said before taking Lord JWolf to the docking bay control room. He tapped into the controls and said, "Ok the bay doors are open."

“Ok. Watch this.” said Lord JWolf. Slowly the Wolf One’s nose could seen in front of the bay doors. It glided inside the docking bay and started going down a nice open spot. As the Wolf One landed, Lord JWolf waited for the bay doors to be closed.

"Interesting," Wes said, raising an eyebrow. As if he hadn't seen that done before. Tapping into the controls, the bay doors shut. "Done, we'll see you in the shuttle then."

"Ok, let's get ready, then." I said. I headed to my room to pick out the clothes I'm going to wear today. Hmm...
I decided on a light tan trench coat with the sleeves rolled up halfway between hand and elbow, a white short-sleeve shirt, untucked and open, a light blue T-shirt and khaki cargo jeans. I checked the full-size mirror and nodded approvingly. Next, I put a white bandanna into one of the pockets, and took out my shades. Very cool.

I then unzipped a portion of my bag that's very useful. I pulled out a packet of shuriken and kunai and put it in my largest pocket, right where it would be shown on the outside when strapped, above the right knee. I decided not to take the blaster, and rezipped the bag. Making sure my lightsaber was in good shape, I headed to the docking bay.

"The interesting part was nobody was flying it. No computer or person. I was using my mind to do it." said Lord JWolf "See you then." Then he disappear from the control room and was by the Wolf One in seconds. The back ramp slowly opened and Lord JWolf walked aboard.

Eamonn and Elrohir were already waiting aboard the shuttle when Daniel showed up in the docking bay. Remy was leaning against the other shuttle playing around with a deck of cards. He pulled his sunglases down as Wes followed in the docking bay behind the others.

"Now we jus' wait for de others," Remy said.

Eamonn poked his head out of the shuttle. "Kurt and Quatre had better not get sidetracked," he remarked.

"Looks like we just have to wait, then." I said.

Val grabbed her MOLLE vest, with the two Browning BDM's, and attached her knifes to the vest as well. All of her other CQC items and various clips were in there. She slung one of the FNP90's over her shoulder, after attaching the silencer. Lastly she pulled her cloak on, to conceal it all. Finally she grabed the M60, and several belts of ammunition. She and Haush met back up with JWolf after she had gathered her weapons.

Eamonn nodded.

Quatre soon entered the docking bay, holding the hand of a very human looking Kurt.

"Whoa!" Eamonn said in surprise.

"Look good don't I?" the prince grinned.

Lord JWolf took off duster in front of the gun rack and lay his SPAS 12 in gun rack. Placing spring-loaded holders on the inner of his arms. Locking two Ruger P93 pistols in the holders then putting on two SMG hostlers on his right leg with Glaubert PM-84 in them. Putting on other duster, this one does not have robot right arm, and had four wooden stakes in it. Plus, has spots for ammo and clips inside the duster. He has a total of six pistols and two submachine gun on him. Plus, his lightsabers and his hunting knife. Then he shut the gun rack's door and locked it. He stop by a locker in the back and took out two bottles then placed them in his left pocket. Putting on some blue framed sunglasses as he head out the back of the Wolf One. Meeting Val as the end of the ramp. "Ready, my lady?"

"Whenever" she siad, looking around and noticing an abundance of sunglasses, especially for an evening operation.

“Our shuttle is over there.” said Lord JWolf he head towards it. As he walked, the ramp shut on the Wolf One and locked. The only way on that ship is Lord JWolf’s datapad. Walking into the shuttle, he saw the other two people in his group. With Cuban cigar in his mouth, he asked “Y‘all ready?”

"We be ready," Remy said climbing aboard. He and Wes sat down in the pilot and co-pilot seats and waited for the other group to get in their shuttle.

Valerie followed JWolf to the shuttle. This was the first time she really met the other two in the group, she didn't care for introductions so she remained quite. Haushinka layed down on the floor in front of her, while Val put a belt of ammo into the M60.

Lord JWolf sat down across from Val and drew a Colt Single-action Army Revolver. Taking out all the bullets and placing them in his right pocket, he started to spin it on his finger on his right hand, like a person in a wild west show on TV.

Wes closed the shuttle door and tapped into the console. "Everyone aboard the shuttle?" he asked over the comlink.

"Check," came Kurts reply. "Shuttle doors shuttle, we're ready to fly."

"Ready?" Wes then asked looking over his shoulder.

“Be ready, Wes.” said Lord JWolf.

Val leaned her weapon against the wall, she didn't want anyone to get the wrong impression. She stretched her arms out in front of her, then above her head, and she bent her fingers back until they popped. She brought her arms down and watched JWolf play with his pistol. She reached into her cloak and pulled out one of her knifes and one of the pistols, and held them together, aiming at the floor around JWolf's feet.

Watching Val pointing her pistol and knife at him, “I don’t think you would want to do that. I‘m the only way for you get live and free.” Stopping his pistol, he started reloading it then place it back in it's spot in the shoulder holster. Pressing play on his CD player, he eyed Val. The first song started playing, Bullets.

Starting the shuttle engines, it began to over over the floor and Wes flew the shuttle out of the docking bay and into space. The planet below grew nearer as the shuttle sped away from the 'Ayreon'. Moments later they were lowering through the atmosphere and were soon flying above the capital, Exetergrecia.

"This is ground control, wait is your clearence?" came a voice through the comlink.

"This is Col. Von Strohm requesting clearence to land," Wes replied.

"Yes Sir, clearence to land granted, have a safe landing,"

Wes smiled as he lowered the shuttle toward the spaceport. Soon they had safely landed and Wes opened up the shuttle doors.

"Well here we are," he said.

"I wasn't going to shoot you, and even if I had shot, it would have hit the floor. I am quite aware that shooting you would be quite stupid. If you can show off, I can show off to." she said, putting her BDM and knife away.

"Well here we are," he said.
Val grabbed her M60 and stood up.

Turning his CD player, he got up and walked outside the shuttle.

"So where to first?" Remy asked.

"Any ideas Lord Jwolf?" Wes asked.

“This ain’t my planet. So, I don’t have any idea.” said Lord JWolf. “But I know we ain’t going to find anything at the space port. Lets just walk around and see if we can run into something.”

"Well theres always the circus, I'm sure you'd enjoy it," Remy grinned.

“The circus. Sounds like fun.” said Lord JWolf as he lit his cigar and drop the match to the ground. Stepping on it, he said “Lead the way, Cajun.”

"Oui, first few rows may experiance some blood splatter, but dat be one o, de best parts," Remy smirked.

"I'm not in the mood for the circus," Wes said coldly. "I'll go to the old Exetergrecia Academy library and do some research, we'll meet up at Winner Heights."

Wes said nothing and headed for the subway. Remy walked off, the circus wasn't far from the spaceport, but there was a long queue ahead of them.

Lord JWolf followed the Cajun, knowing Val will be right behind him.

Val startd following them, but didn't like the crowds associated with the circus. She would deal with it. There are few problems that couldn't be solved by a belt fed weapon.

"Remember don't bring attention to yourselves," Remy reminded them as they headed up to the ticket booth.

"Three tickets, adult," he said and handed over the money.

Now that they had their tickets, Remy led them into the colluseium(sp?) and down to their seats in the front row.

“I know, Remy.” JWolf said before they enter coliseum. As they enter it, Lord JWolf scanned the crowd before sitting down.

"So what now?" I asked Kurt and Eamonn.

A man in a black trench coat sat down next to Remy, neither taking any notice of each other as a gladiator walked out into the arena. The crowd, including Remy and the man stood up to cheer him. Obviously this gladiator was the crowd favourite. He was rather large and very muscular.

"Cain, never been beaten," Remy told them. "The best of the best come out to pit their wits against him and leave in a coffin."

“Never been beaten? That is something you don’t see that much today.” said Lord JWolf “He doesn’t look that bad. I could beat him.”

"So what now?" I asked Kurt and Eamonn.

Kurt started the engines. "We go down to the planet now," he told him.

Slowly the shuttle lifted off and flew out of the docking bay. Once through the atmosphere, they could see the city below.

"This is ground control, wait is your clearence?" came a voice through the comlink.

"This is Lt. Gruber, requesting clearence to land," Kurt replied.

"Yes Sir, clearence to land granted, have a safe landing,"

Kurt sighed with relief as he lowererd the shuttle down into the spaceport. With the others, he climbed outs.

"So where do you suggest we go first?" he asked Daniel.

“Never been beaten? That is something you don’t see that must today.” said Lord JWolf “He doesn’t look that bad. I could beat him.”

"Well don' get any ideas bout fightin' him," Remy told him.

“That takes the fun out of it.” he said watching the large and muscled up nutjob in the arena.

Val sat there and listened to Remy blather on about the contestant. She thought about it and then looked at JWolf and said, "Ok, what does this have anything to do with..........whatever it is were doing here?"

"Jus' wait chere," Remy told Valerie.

Cain was unarmed as another gladitator entered the arena with full armour, a sword and a shield.

"Watch dis," Remy grinned.

“I don’t know. Just be happy that you are not in a jail cell or aboard a spaceship with its stale air, right now.” he said to Val.

Val sat and watched as the muscular man appeared to be going to get worked over. As she sat there she held onto her M60, which got discerning looks from those sitting near her.

Lord JWolf just watched the warrior named Cain. He could fell people looking at him and Val.

Remy smirked to himself as the crowd booed the challenger. The challenger stepped forward and raised his sword.

"Where did they pick this loser from!" a man behind them yelled.

"Kill him!" yelled another.

Cain marched up to the challanger, whom he towered over. He swung his sword which just bounced off Cain. The crowd then cheered lowdly as with one bare hand, he crushed the challengers skull even through the helmet. Cain raised his arms as the crowd cheered.

"That was not even his quickest kill," Remy told them.

Val watched the challengers skull get crushed. She was unphased, and kind of dissapointed at the lack of pain in his death. She had killed people in much more painfull and bloody deaths.
