Joshua runns a short distance away and suddenly turns around and charges at Qui at full speed

Qui was still in complete pain. He cursed at Joshua, but grabbed his foot as he ran towards him. He flipped him over onto the ground and staggered to get up before kicking the hell out of Joshua, and grasping him by the throat before throwing him to the ground again.

Qui: You'll pay for that...*he was still in pain*

Kenja: :shock:

Joshua yet again kicks him where it hurts and then gets back up and drop kicks him in the gut.

This time Qui dodges the blows with incredible speed...he was really pissed off. He picks up Joshua and heads back toward the school before throwing him up in the air and kicking him like a ball, sending him flying.

Kenja: :shock:

Joshua was holding his balls for the whole flight and for about 4 min after.

Qui smirked as he watched Joshua hit the ground and headed back toward the school. As he passed Joshua he backhanded him once more before heading off.

Kenja: :shock: *rushes over to Joshua* are you alright?

Joshua:*in a highpitched voice* Ice need ice

Meanwhile Qui collapses on the ground, still in pain. Kat approaches him..

Kat: What the hell happened to you...

Qui: You are an ice elemental...argh...no?

Kat: Yes...

Qui: Ice....now...please...*he gasps*

Kat creates an amount of ice, which is grabbed by Qui quickly. Kat laughs amused at the bad ass vampire's weakness.

Kat: I imagine a sword would hurt more...

Kenja waves her hand in the air and creates a small amount of ice. She throws it to Joshua...those elemental classes payed off.

"Ow," He says in his normal voice

Qui: I have to teach manipulations tommorow...

Kat: You'll be alright by then...won't you?

Qui: Not quite...*he said still on the ground. He then passed out*

Kat: He must have gotten you good...*she called for Daja...and after a while, he finally showed up* Don't hurt him, he's been hurt enough...

Daja: I can see that...it runs in the family..*he smiles and Kat is slightly shocked at this remark and goes to prepare for her next class. Daja picks Qui up and brings him to his dorm before setting him on the bed, and leaving him to rest.

Joshua grabs the ice and sticks it where it hurts.
"Ow," He says in his normal voice

Kenja: He got you pretty good didn't he...He's REALLY not gonna be happy...he has to teach tommorow too..*snickes* wait a minute....i'm in his class... :shock:

Elaïne looked incredibly touched, as if Lana knew the words to have the elf showing her very soul.

"We... we will always be friends... always."

Lana could feel a strange vibration in herself. There was something more. She could... see it, hear it, touch it. She suddenly had felt another level of energy

Lana just stood, allowing the experience to wash over her. She had panicked the last time something like this had happened, she was hoping she would not make the same mistake twice.

She could feel her heartbeat rise, as all her senses began to come alive. She began to shake from a mixture of excitement, nerves and wonder.

She saw. It was like a dream. She was in a forest, the most beautiful forest she ever saw. Autumn had painted it using every tones of yellow, orange and red her eyes could distinguish. Leaves were dancing above her as a soft wind was playing with them.
She looked down. A little girl just had woke up. She was surely the cutest 5 year old girl in the world. Her long brown hair were gently falling on her shoulders. She was looking at Lana, silent.

Why doesn't she speak by now? she heard herself thinking as if she wasn't really herself.

The deep blue eyes of the little girl went wider. She was staring at Lana as if she was thinking about an answer. A leaf fell onto Lana's arm. The sensation was so much alike when she had her first out of body experience some days before, near the fountain. The mouth of the little girl opened.

"Mo... Mo... Mum...my..."

Lana woke with a start, as she felt herself pulled back to the now. She blinked trying to focus her mind. The experience had been like a dream, yet deep inside it felt more like a memory. She shook her head knowing that it wasn't one of hers.

She looked at Elaïne. Was it her memory? Was that a scene from her past? She smiled nervously. Her body shaking as the feelings began to fade.

"It is good to see you again Ancient One. How does Qui fare?"

Kain was outside Qui's room as Daja left it. He was leaning against a wall.

(Bearing in mind that Kain had changed a great deal since Daja saw him last.)

Lana lowered her eyes. "You'll think me strange. I think I've started to halucinate." She smiled, as she raised her eyes to Elaïne's. "I saw a little girl, in a wood. She reminded me of you. She called me..." She shook her head. "It's nothing."

"She said mommy," Elaïne whispered, tears forming into her eyes.

She remembers.

"I... It's... Well..."

"Yes". It was little more than a whisper. Lana looked at Elaïne, confused. "Was it a memory of yours?" Her eyes fixed, afraid to break the contact. "How did that happen? How did I see it?"

Lana suddenly felt afraid. There was something in Elaïne's eyes that bespoke of something more than looking in on a memory. She kept her gaze locked. Taking a deep breath, she spoke quietly. "Yes, I want to know."

Joshua was still holding his balls as he walked back to the academy. He would give off the odd grown of pain but that was it

Kat looked as Joshua passed her.
Kat: Qui? *she said and raised an eyebrow to keep from laughing.

"Don't even ask," Joshua says as he walks to his dorm

Kat laughs at this, and turns to back into the school behind Joshua. She snickers slightly along the way, but still felt bad for her brother.

Josh was still holding his balls when he got back to his dorm and opened the door to find Phoenix flat out asleep on a bed.

Kenja enters manipulations, already to find that Qui was already there, still in slight pain.
Kenja: How ya doin' Qui?

Qui: I'm going Joshua hunting tonight. :twisted:

I thought she would be here forever...with all of us forever. but forever is a long time, and even longer when you realize you are to spend it alone...

ooc: IT was? i didnt know that, it was Katarina's fathers title as well. He was the leader of "The Celestials", the best of the best of the best of the elite, further enhanced and given magic as well as genetic alterations.

OOC:Was he the one that died in the nuke explosion

ooc: yeah, he was a few thousand years old, his RPing usefullness was slipping. Clarification: The celestials are the best of the best...... Ka'an's ancestors were the creators of the group, and the leadership and powers are passed down, generation to generation.

ic: Katarina walks into manipulations, A new sense of presence about her.
Her eyes have changed, they are gold, veined with red and silver. Her skin is slightly bronzed, and it seems as if the colors of the rainbow shimmer across her skin. She sits, and greets Qui warmly. "I deeply apologize, things got out of control last week. Circumstances have changed, it will not happen again."

She notices a grimace on his face, and a change from his normal aura, and asks "What causes the pain i detect?"

Joshuua stoned outa his mind walks past Qui's class room and says to him "Hope you enjoy the pain." He then stumbles off and a faint slpashing shound can he heard fallowed by a "Son of a bitch!"

Qui literally jumped out of his chair and ran out of the room, tackling Joshua to the ground. He started punching him in the face so hard, that blood was evident. It wasn't long before he almost became unrecognizable. It was just in time before Qui could rip Joshua apart when Daja, Seni, Seth, and Kenja, were alll pulling him back. They dragged the stuggeling and enraged Qui back into the classroom and shut the door behind them. Qui sat in the chair, being restrained by his father and Seth. Seni and Kenja went to tend to Joshua...who was bashed up pretty badly.

Qui: Just deciding which one of my stundents should disappear...

Qui: No...it's hilarious.

Daja: You didn't make any of you're students disappear nor go insane last year...it was the pressure.

Qui: Well than this year will be the first and last....I'll kill Joshua...or at least maim him...

Daja: You've accomplished the maiming....that's enough...or do you want another sword through you? *his eyes flashed red at Qui who returned the glare, but said nothing.

Joshua just lay there out cold seeing hell again. Why am I back here? he thinks.

Seni: Looks like he bashed him up pretty badly...nothing that intensive magic wouldn't fix...

Seni: Alright...Qui will kill me for this though...*he picks him up and heads toward the medical wing.* It seems that he has a shattered nose, broken jawbone, a fractured spine...but nothing I can't fix.... HE sets Joshua on the table and begins the healing....it was painful, but at least he wouldn't have any scars, and would be able to walk in an hour...

Slowly Joshua suddenly fell to the feilds ground and passed out from the apin.

ic: Katarina winces as she sees Qui kick josua's ass.

Seni: Yes KENJA! CALM DOWN..let me work... *he continued the healing process as a white light covered Joshua...the spine would be hard to fix..*SNAP!*

"SON OF A BITCH!!!!!!!!" Joshua shouts suddenly as his spine snaps back in place.

"Qui, are you alright?" Asks katarina. "Whats going on with you and joshua?"

Seni: No Joshua...QUi's not here...and you are treading on thin ground if you call Rave that...*he smiles* Yup...he's alright.

Kenja: Well...make sure he doesn't go near Qui...*she leaves the room to go back to class.

Daja let's go of Qui, who apparently was alright now...he just better make sure that Joshua stay's out of Qui's site. Seth leaves with Daja, and stands by the door, Joshua..would NOT pass this classroom...it may set Qui off again...no wonder. Seth sees Kenja approaching the door.

Kenja: I guess so ...he had a fractured spine, shattered nose, broken jaw, hairline fractures on the skull...pretty bashed up...but he'll be ok...

Seni injects an needle into his arm, and the pain lessens slightly* Do NOT go near that classroom until we have the muscle to restrain Qui...he is quite dangerous when he's angry...what did you do to piss him off so badly?

"Run for my life then kick him below the belt so I could keep my neck from being snaped," Joshua says between the odd swear

Eclipse stepped up behind Seth without him noticing and placed her hands on his shoulder. She looked up into his face and asked him, "I heard you talking with Katarina. I also heard your comment about forever being a long time ... Especially if you were alone."

Adrian stepped into the Manipulations room, knowing Lana should show up there eventually. He was waiting for her.

[ooc: Sorry, Lana is tied up with Elaine, following a memory flashback of a past life. She's waiting for Elaine to explain what happened, so she's going to be a bit late for class. She will catch up with Adrian soon though :D ]

As Lana waited for Elaïne to tell her about her vision, she could feel that Adrian was near. A small smiled appeared on her lips, but as much as she wanted to go to him, she need to hear what Elaïne was going to tell her.

Kenja gets up and faces Katarina. No one had ever seen Kenja work in manipulations. She did most of her work after class. Since Qui was also her sire, she had a sheer advantage over other students, but saw Katarina as a fair match.
She looked in her eyes deeply, as her own flickered silver. Waves of exhaustion passed over Katrina. The weight of her body becoming unbearable. She concentrated deeper, as if trying to make Katarina fall asleep..

Seth looked at her, he was standing outside the manipulations room, and Daja was at his side before...but when he looked where he had stood, he was gone. He obviously sensed Eclipse approaching, and decided best to leave the two alone....he was off to find Coro anyway...

Seth: Forever is a long time...for it's enternity...neverending. Never dying... The embrace given to me and all vampires....is the greatest of gifts...as well worst of curses... There comes a time in all of our kinds lives, when the idea of eternity becomes unbearable. And your life rots and hollows into a solitary existance. *he was chokeing back emotion, but remained as best neutral as he could....and he wasn't good at hiding emotion* In the end...most are left alone...and that makes eternity far mor unbearable. I have spent centuries alone...and eternity for me had become unbearable. Immortality seemed a good idea at the time...but it's luster fades, and tapers... so I went to sleep. Hoping that the pain would leave me...but something awoke me, and life as I used to know it had changed, and it was...better. I met you three days after...and realized why I had awoken, and what had changed in the world...making it better. You had come into my life...and the idea of eternity is no longer unbearable.

"I still can't feel my ass though. Is that bad?" Joshua asks

"But..." Eclipse's voice was nearly a whisper. "I can't live for eternity..."

"Actually," came a soft voice from behind them. "That's not entirely true."

Eclipse and Seth spun, and Eclpse saw an image of a very attractive woman. She looked only twenty, if that.

"Shine!" Eclipse cried out.

Shine Ravenstar nodded slowly. "I'm afraid I can't maintain this for very long, Eclipse. It's very taxing across this great distance."

(ooc: This could lead to an interesting twist/rp oppourtunity...feel free to have fun with this... :P )
Seth knew that there was a way...but it would involve embracing her...and taking away her mortality was not something he was willing to do, without her wanting it, and with no other choice. He looked at the woman, apparently unsuprised at her appearance...but when he realized who it was he turned his face away, not wanting to meet her eyes...he knew her...and they had not parted ways on the best of terms...at all.

"I still can't feel my ass though. Is that bad?" Joshua asks

Seni: Well, if all plays out the way I think it will, Qui will be kicking your ass for the rest of the year, so maybe it's best if you don't feel it. :lol:

Seni: *laughs* You do...he only ripped your face apart pretty badly, but it's reconstructed now, and normal. Your spine gave me difficulties...it would be faster and less painless if...if SHE were here. If SHE were here, I doubt this would have happened at all...SHE was the only one that could supress Qui fully...but that is only because she gave birth to the bad ass...

Shine looked to Seth, and nodded to him in greeting. "Eclipse, I would come if I could to discuss this in person with you. Unfortunately, I can't. Not for a while. Look, for now, Just trust Seth. He'll tell you all he can, and ... help you all he can. Right, Seth?"

And with that, she faded away into the distance.

Seth was shocked...with his past with Shine, and his unability to make eye contact with her. Eclipse could tell there was tension between them. Seth finally turned and looked to Eclipse...he couldn't bring himself to take away her mortality, and give her the burden to bear on her shoulders. Give her the perils of his race...the abilities and challenges of a vampire...
Seth: No...you won't live for eternity...*he knew that he could change her, in being an elder of the order, one gained the right to sire, but could he bring himself to do it? Even if she wanted him to...it wasn't an easy road ahead.*

"Well at least my arms legs and ribs have a extremly tough mettal to break graphed to them. I can't even break it. Hell a 60 ton tank couldn't ether," Joshua says as he feels to make sure he has his body in the right shape

"I wish I could," she said quietly. Then she looked up into his face. He could see she was sad, and that this was affecting her more than she was willing to show.

Seni: Qui is neither fire, nor water, nor earth, nor water, nor wood elemental...he is of a lightning elemantality...so you might not want to tell him that...especially after you get out of the pool. *smiles* You should be all set...mind you, you're back might hurt for a while...it might be best to get some sleep...and stay out of harm's way.

Nearly every vampire sires one for their own as they climb the ranks. In being an elder, which I am, or an ancient...you gain the ability to embrace someone. Qui, for example, had taken Kenja as his fledgling...Rave had took Genesis, Qui, Seni, Mar, Kain, Raven, and myself as fledglings, as she is an ancient...and had many millenia behind her...but Daja only took Rave...so it is up to the elder or ancient how many they wish to take. *he trailed off slightly* but to become a vampire is not a gift of immortality, it is a curse of eternity.

"I still can't feel my ass," Joshua says laughing as he starts getting up.

Seni: I'm sorry to hear that....maybe Kenja can...*he laughs slightly and looks at Joshua's face which was priceless.* Well..*he walks to the door and opens it* I am not a doctor, but the closest thing we have here to one, so i must go and prepare my class for tommorow..i'm already behind schedule.

Eclipse looked down at the ground. "I ... I don't know. I just don't know.I don't think I could ... handle that right now ..." She trailed off.

Seth: I don't expect you to ever...it's not an offer...I would never expect you to bare the curse that was given to me...for it is mine to bare alone...*he said not making eyecontact with her* Forever IS a long time...i don't know how I can cope myself.

"I ... If I could find a way to be with you forever ... But not to become a vampire ... Would you still accept me?" Eclipse asked quietly, still looking down at the ground.

I already do...*he said suprised* You might live eternally from drinking Rave's blood for a week or so...and not become a vampire, as she would have to take your blood first...but she is not here...and the only one whom has access to it, if any is left, would be Daja, and he's in a rage over his son and the loss of his ex-wife.

As Rave's wishes...he would teach Kain all there was needed to know about the order of vampires...and how to advance among the ranks. However, he wished this not to be known for the current time being, and was still distraught over his angel's death and of his son mauling a student.

Seni: You can leave now Joshua...go back to your room and get some rest for heavens sake! *he looked at Joshua for a moment before continuing to type out a lesson plan on the nationstates forumn.

Brian leaves the manipulations room and heads to get a drink. He gets his coffee and heads back to the manipulations room.

As Lana stood watching Elaine, she suddenly remembered that she was meant to be in Manipulations, and judging by Qui's temper of late, she didn't want to experience his wrath.

"I have to run. We'll meet later, and you can explain what's happening to me." She turned and ran to Adrian before dragging him into class.

Adrian grinned as she grabbed his hand and dragged him into Manipulations. He didn't mind in the least.

OOC: I think Manipulations will have to be declared over soon.

Rushing into the class, Lana took a seat. She was slightly out of breath. She turned to Adrian and smiled. "I thought I was going to miss the whole class." She looked trouble. "To be honest, I don't want someone messing with my head at the moment."

He smiled. "I don't think I'd want anyone messing with my head ... ever ..."

Too many private thoughts.

Lana raised an eyebrow. "Why? What are you trying to hide?" She shook her head and shrugged. "Normally I wouldn't mind. I have no secrets."

"I don't know," he replied with a shrug. "It's just ... I hae a lot of thoughts that I'd rather keep to myself."

Lana looked intrigued. "Secret thoughts, huh?" She looked him in the eye. "Mmm, yes, I can see why you wouldn't want to anyone to know that thought." She laughed.

He laughed. "What? That thought I wouldn't mind ... one person ... knowing ..." He trailed off, looking into her eyes.

"Really?" She sighed. "Now I really do wish I could see your thoughts. It sounds interesting." She smiled coyly. "And would this one person be happy to know what you were thinking?"

He smiled. "I hope sh- That one person would be." He chuckled.

"Oh, I'm sure they will be." She suddenly looked serious. "Just let me know when you are going share your secret with them, and I'll make sure I'm not around to cramp your style." She smiled.

"Well, when I'm going to tell them," he had a hard time not laughing at this point. "You'll be the first to know."

Lana playfully pinched his cheek. "You are just too kind to me." She smiled. "I hope this other person doesn't mind me knowing first." Her eyes locked onto his. "I know I would."

"I don't think this person will mind me telling you," he said with a chuckle and a smile, looking into her eyes. "There's no reason for them to get unhappy if I tell you."

Joshuha stands up and starts to limp away to his room.

Lana looked deep into his eyes. "I look forward to hearing it. And I'll be sure to tell you my secret thoughts." She blushed slightly and lowered her eyes.

He smiled, seeing her blush, and then leaned forward, putting his fingers under her chin. He gently drew her head forward and kissed her.

She returned his kiss, her heartbeat begin to race, as time once again stood still. Suddenly she remembered where they were, and broke the kiss feeling embarrassed and happy at the same time. She smiled at Adrian. "I like it when you do that."

He chuckled. "I like it when I do that too."

Suddenly he remembered where they were, and glanced around. Everyone seemed to not be paying attention to them. Adrian let out a silent sigh of relief.

Lana took hold of his hand. "I'm glad no one else is attempting to read our thoughts." She sighed. "I hate to think what they would have picked up." She took a moment to recall her thoughts during their kiss and smiled coyly.

Asrian chuckled. "I'm also glad no-one tried to read our minds ..."

He looked around.

"Or even noticed us."

Lana looked around the room at the other pupils. "Well, most of them haven't spoken to us yet, why change the trend?" She began to rub the back of his hand with her thumb.

He chuckled. "Yeah, you have a point. They probably don't even know we exist, except ... well ... never."

From the west, a small black jet approaches the academy. After coming to a stop and landing and man exits the aircraft. The man walks toward the academy, obviously looking for something or someone.

Lana smiled. "That's their loss. I'm just pleased that you noticed my existence." She looked him in the eyes. "I'm glad I discovered yours."

Adrian smiled. "How could I notice not thine existence, o beautiful one?"

Lana pretended to remove some glasses from Adrian's face and toss them over her shoulder. "Remove those rose-tinted spectacles, and look at me with your own eyes." She giggles.

Brian slowly opens his eyes. He didn't even realize he had fallen asleep, even in class. Oh well, no one had said something to him. He saw a couple of students slightly making out, and heavily flirting with each other. Ah, good times for young people, he thought. He let his mind wander through his memories.

Lana saw Brian looking over. "Hello, Brian. Looking forward to Manipulations?" She smiled wryly.

Qui finally got back on schedule, yet still had the urge to strangle Joshua...that would be later. :twisted: He watched the students as the class was near over, and not much, but some had been accomplished. The students were concentrating with ease. Lana was progressing very much so, and if not in manipulations, then with Adrian. ( :P )

Hello, I am Scion Maihaty, the Holy Emperor of Maihaty. I am here to train in this academy's school of Manipulation. I wish to be informed of the location of the aforementioned school so that I can proceed training. Would you know such location or someone who could direct me?

Creo: *smiles* I am going to manipulations right now as a matter of fact, I'll lead you there. *she led Mr. Miahaty down elaborate hallways toward the manipulations room. She knocked on the door gently.*

Lana turned as someone entered the classroom. She got the distinct impression that Qui was not happy about something.

Greetings, I am Scion Maihaty. I will assume that you are Qui and will be training me in the art of Manipulation.

Qui: Come in...*he repeated as he turned toward the door, thne looked back at his desk, apparently amusing himself with a small knife, embellished with rubies.*

Adrian chuckled seeing someone else enter the class, and had almost forogtten he had his sunglasses on. He flipped them off his face, and watched them roll down his arm before he flicked them and they hopped into his hand folded. He chuckled. The class was almost over.

He looked back to Lana. "Yes? You were saying?"

Lana turns to Scion Maihaty, smiles and presents her hand. "Hello, I'm Lana Farrell, and this..." She indicates the man sitting next to her. "...is Adrian. It's a pleasure to meet you."

Phoenix now fully awake and alittle on the buzzed side starts walking around the academy and stops at Qui's room.

Lana continued to smile. "So, is manipulations the only course you are taking? I'm doing AC as well." She cringed at the thought, although this one could be just as unpleasant.

"Hey Qui have you seen Joshua?" Phoenix says still quite buzzey

I considered telekinesis, but have decided to only take Manipulations and seeing how that goes before taking on others. I was a two star General before becoming Holy Emperor and thus haven't considered the Advanced Combat course.

"I wish I had taken the time to think through my options. You get beaten up physically in AC and mentally in Manipulations." Lana laughed. "If you don't leave with some type of bruise, the class was not worthwhile."

Adrian chuckjled. "Yeah, true, true."

He extended a hand to the new man. "Adrian Ravenstar. Pleaased to meet you."

Scion extends his own hand to shake Adrians. "I understand that there is a high vampire population at this academy. Vampires aren't native to Maihaty and I was curious if you could describe the physiology of them."

Adrian laughed and passed a hand over his head. "No, these vampires are way over my head. But stick around, you'll learn. Trial by fire, so they say."

He nodded to Qui, at the front of the room. "That's Qui. He's one of the vampires. Don't piss him off."

Scion calmly replied. "I'm not inclined to 'piss anyone off,' but I'd certainly defend myself from an attack, verbal or physical."

OOC: Do you know how to imbed a picture, I'd like to post one so everyone could get a better idea of what my character looks like.

Adrian laughed. "Well then, get ready to defend yourself a lot here. You'll grow to understand. People here love to fight. Well, most people."

"I have known not love or anger. Ambition is what consumes my soul." Scion said dryly.

"Obviously you must be talented mentally to take such a course, what else do you excel at?"

"Me? No ... I don't take manipulations. I'm not even a student here," Adrian said with a wry chuckle. "I'm an off-duty Haraki marine, who happens to hang out here with his younger sister."

"Interesting, who may I ask is your sister?"

"Eclipse Ravenstar," Adrian replied. "She's the AC TA."

Qui: Phoenix...I mauled Joshua earlier...he should be in intensive care right now. That or my brother has healed him, so by now he's just in a large amount of pain travelling back to his room. *he said with a smile to a suprised Phoenix. He looked at the new student and nodded* My name is Qui Shentavo, you're professor. I see you've met a few of the other students. The reason such violence has been going on in this school is because of the death of Rave...she died the beginning of the school year, and we are just getting back on track. *he said softly...if Rave was here, none of this would have happened, she had been the mediator between him and Daja, him and Joshua, between everyone.* Now, come in I said! *he said to the figure behind the door* But if your Joshua then...

Creo: *steps in the room and smiles* Hello Qui...

Qui: :shock: Cra...Cra...Creo...*he falls out of his chair*

"Shall we begin our objective today?" asked Scion intently.

Qui clammered up from his chair. His face was a total blank.
Qui: Kenja... *Kenja nodded to Qui and looked at Scion. It seemed that unheard words had passed between Qui and Kenja...but no one heard a thing.

Kenja: Have you ever done this before Scion? Projecting ideas and emotions, even actions into another person, to make them at your will? You seem intelligent enough...why not try it on me to begin with. *she said with a smile.

Meanwhile Qui stood up and walked outside the door with Creo, accidently leaving the door a jar slightly.

Creo: Long time no see Qui...

Qui: What the hell are you doing here!? I'm in the middle of class..

Creo: It is always a pleasure to see my ex-husband

Qui: I WAS NEVER YOU'RE HUSBAND WE WERE ENGAGED AND YOU broke it off.. GOOD BYE Creo Versai..*he walked toward the classroom once more*

Creo: Qui...*she said softly as Qui went back into the room, looking at those who just heard the entire conversation. He sat down at his desk once more, and focused on Kenja and Scion, as if nothing had happened*

A car drives into the gates of the academy and stops at the main building. Three people step out. Two wear uniforms, the other a black flightsuit.

Lord Reil Tian looked about. "Nice place. Too bad we came here because of an international terrorist."

The three enter the main building and wait to be seen.

OOC: Rave, this is just the official visit to finish the investigation of Zed's little fireworks show. :wink:

ooc: ooo yay....can Daja have some fun with them? lol :P

Daja drops from the ceiling and is immediately in front of the three men. His tall figure loomed over them, and his red eyes met theirs. He smiled softly, making sure that his fangs were prominent enough to get the point across. "Can I help you?" he said devilishly.

Scion replied to Kenja "I've never had to bend people to my will on that level. I've always done it through a physical means. I'm willing to apply myself though, however." Scion concentrated deeply on Kenja raising her arm. He imagined the electronic nerve impulses moving out from his second brainstem, through his fingers at towards her.

Kenja laughed at this. "Clearly you don't know the academy's past...I've been here for years...Qui is my sire, and I am extremely advanced for my second year." *she said with a soft smile as she fought and kept her arm from moving. In an instant, deep waves of fear passed from her onto Scion, driving there way through barriers and burrowing through the skin.*

Qui: "You are skilled for you're first time, Scion. Concentrate not on actions at first, but on feelings. Attempt to repel Kenja's waves of fear and try to block them out. Let go of everything and focus on nothingness until the fear has disappeared, and you can counter."

Scion sensed the waves of emotion coming at him, however Scion managed to resist the compulsion through a sheer void of emotion that had developed over the years. Directing at her the one emotion he ever felt on a normal basis, ambition, Scion tried to compel Kenja to act on the desires on the surface of her mind.

Kenja felt waves of ambition wash over her... She let them pass, for the object of her desire was not in the room, and Qui would be too strong to take down. It left her desires unaccomplishable. She closed herself off to the world in the lack of emotion. She felt one inside her heart...love. She opened herself up again, focusing her eyes on Scion, and directing sharp waves of love toward him. It was one emotion she knew all to well about.

A new sensation was directed at Scion. Something he had never felt before and wasn't sure how to defend against. He began to feel a warmth deep within, but registering this as an attack, Scion began to crush the warmth with his cold mind. After a struggle between the polar forces Scion finally subdued the foreign emotion. "What the hell did you try to do to me?!" asked Maihaty with a slight anger. Another emotion seemingly sparked from the last, that was also foreign to him.

Building upon this newfound anger and regarding these emotions as an attack, Scion focused on assaulting Kenja's mind. Putting all mental effort into the attack, Scion tried to force Kenja into a state of despair.

Kenja: What are you talking about? You've never felt love before? *she asked confused. She looked to Qui for a moment, whom was paying close attention at the time, then back at Scion. She raised her hand in defense against the attack. She concentrated deeply, repeling the attack. With a burst of energy, she reflected her rage back to him, as her eyes glowed a silvery blue. It seemed as if you could see electricity rage through her veins. She never wanted to feel despair again, and would do anything she could to never feel it again.

Scion was hit full force with the reflected rage and was even more encouraged to break Kenja down. He launched his assault of despair back at Kenja again refusing to let her defeat him. He couldn't be defeated, never, he refused to even consider the notion. This was a battle of wits and emotion, only one of which he excelled at marvellously.

Qui watched intently. He was known as the "mind breaker" the most powerful mind in the nation, one to have surpassed Rave, but that had only been once. As the son of two ancients, one a pureblood, one a hybrid, his skill was off the charts as far as the mind went. In choosing Kenja to be his fledgling, he had made sure of her mind...and enhanced even more with his blood. He continued to watch on, bringing his hand to his chin as he leaned back in the chair.
This time, Kenja would not hold back. Indeed she had lost before, but only to Qui and Rave, and a few of the other teachers. She deflected the despair once more...this time both hands were up. One hand was braced around her wrist for the impact. She closed herself off from him. She stopped the attack, but not her deflection. She waited for a moment, gathering strength, until she could delve into his memories and bring up the most painful of them all....in a minute or so...she found it.

OOC: Not to take your character down a notch or anything, but even I can't think of a memory painful enough for Scion to feel. It couldn't be physical since his brain filters that out and up until now he's been a pretty damn cold guy. If you've got a suggestion, ooc it to me so I can adequately respond.

(ooc: ahhh lol. Ah well I'll think of something...)

When Rave died...her mother, one to watch over her...the closest person that she ever knew and loved...when she died, it was complete agony. With this she implanted it into his mind, giving him the pain of loss, confusion, loneliness, misguided...everything that had tormented her for the past two weeks.

As the whirlwind of emotions attacked Scion, he used his logic to separate them to fight them off individually. He quickly struck down confusion, because he had always felt a purpose in life and was too driven to get sidetracked. Pain took more effort, because he could somewhat relate this Rave to Julia, who he rather not lose because he saw her value. But was this pain? Before dwelling on that thought too long he shattered the image but was hit with the feeling of loneliness before he could defend himself once more. Scion began to think of it, he had always been alone and was idependant to say the least. But did this really bother him? These new thoughts brought new questions which Scion had never thought to ask himself...

Snapping back in to focus Scion remembered that this was a duel of the minds and with the recent knowledge he gained from the attack. Scion used the same images of Rave to counterattack Kenja.

Qui: Stop...*he said raising a hand, stopping anything from coming between the two.* That's enough...*his voice was hard and rigid...apparently he didn't like being reminded of his mother's death that much.* Kenja, you must see me after class...Scion, you are promising...maybe you should meet up with Katrina from Dereities this weak to strengthen your abilities...*he stood up* I'll see you all next week...*he walked out of the room, but the barrier of the minds remained between Kenja and Scion.

Kenja: *smiles* Sometimes I don't understand why he does the things he does...*she said with a sigh* It was a good testing...I look forward to a stronger one next time. :D

Refusing to admit defeat--since Qui stopped the struggle--Scion got a hold of himself and walked out of the room without saying anything.

Qui turned around to meet eyes with him. "I don't like to lose either...but the sight or feeling of Rave can cause...a lot to happen. She had been with us for millenia. The students, the teachers, everyone was connected to her in some way....ask anyone of her...and they will tell you her story and why this is so...she died but to weeks ago...you must try to understand...I am not one to feel emotion...but this is the exception. Don't think that I stopped you out of pure enjoyment...I stopped you because if that attack had hitten Kenja, she would have been driven into an unimaginable hell, and I could not let that happen to her...Good evening, Scion... *he turned and walked away, disappearing into the darkness. Kenja came out of the room, and was headed toward Joshua's dorm.

Scion goes back to his jet and unpacks his things into his dorm room. After getting everything settled, he took his custom made katana out of his bag. It one of his inventions that pleased him the most. The blade was made out of an alloy called Organium which he discovered which would go in density through the absorption of the proteins albumin and fibrinogen; found in the plasma portion of blood. The weapon's true genius came into the fact that the handle had the capability to manufacture nanomachines using the interior's metal for developing their structure. Because the blade would generally be coated with blood the handle's manufacturing unit had enough metal to use in nanomachine creation and still improve the strength of the sword. The nanomachines produced in the handle line up along the blade and when they come into contact with anything organic, they attack, thus making any cut a wound too agrivated to heal by normal means. After deactivating the nanomachines, Scion took the sword and headed out into the open so that he could train.

Lana was pleased the class had come to and end. She didn't like her experience of the first one, and after what had happened to Katarina, she was very concerned, especially after the weird things that had happened to her when she spoke to Elaine.

She picked up her things and headed out of the building, pleased to be back in the open air.

After Daja's explanation of the events, Kain chuckled.

"Just like Qui....sadisitic..." Kain murmered.

"I must leave. I have a AM lesson." With that Kain bowed and walked away, serious and thinking about Qui.

Daja: I would have done the same had Joshua done that to me...it hurts..*he smiled, his fangs resting on his lower lip* Good day...*he said and walked away to greet the three people at the door, and maybe terrorize them. Qui was his son, and he had to get it from somewhere. He climped onto the ceiling, and hovered over them for a moment before dropping. (ooc: a little earlier...had to respond to Kain and then meet the people investigating Zed)

Joshua had final made it to his dorm still trying to get feeling in his ass.

Kenja was at his dorm waiting for him. A look of concern came when she saw Joshua limping toward him..

Joshua just does a whistle and says "Damn bad day. So anyways I still can't feel my ass."

Standing out in the sunlight, Lana recalled her last conversation with Elaine. She remebered the strange things she had seen and touched. But the most powerful memory was of the emotions she had felt.

I wish I knew what was happening to me.

Qui: Daja...help...

Katarina enters the A.M. room, ready to go.

As teh Manipulations class had ended, Adrian had up and left. Now he stood, watching Lana, before silently creepign up behind her and putting his arms over her shoulders. He turned her around and kissed her.

Lana turned and was greeted by a kiss. If they continued this much longer, people would think they were connected by the lips. But she didn't really care what others thought. She had never been this happy. Adrian seemed to make all her troubles go away.

Michelle walked up from the bus and into the admissions office. Trying to look like a regular citizen, she wore her casual attire of colored shirt and long skirt. "Hello, my name is Michelle Firestorm. Can you help me find the Admissions Director's office?"

"Well, you missed admissions this year, dear," an middle age woman with black-framed glasses replied. "But if you want to speak with him, he is down that hall," she pointed to her left, "and on the right. Good luck, dear."

"Thank you." Michelle walked down the hall, slowly, cautiously. Finding the admissions director's office, she recited her introduction quietly. A tall man walking down the corridor saw the brunette talking to herself and raised his eyebrows. Michelle knocked on the door, listening quietly for a reply.

Adrian still had his arms wrapped around her as he grinned and asked her, "What's up?"

Lana looked into his eyes, as he held her in his arms. "Nothing's up. Why do you ask?" She smiled, but a puzzled look remained in her gaze.

He shrugged. "You know, I've decided to tell that certain person what I wanted to tell them. Would you come with me for a moment?"

Lana felt kind of nervous, but excited at the same time. "Yes, of course." She looked around her. "Where do you want to go?"

He gestured over to a bench. "How 'bout just there?"

Lana looked at the bench. "Okay." She walked over to the bench and sat down. Her eyes reflected the nervous curiosity of her soul.

Adrian followed her at a short distance, coming up behind the bench and leaning down so his head was right beside hers. Then he turned his head and whispered in her ear, "I love you."

Lana went silent, then a smile slowly crept across her face. She turned her head slightly. "I know." She laughed lightly as she faced forward, then came over all serious. "I love you too." She turned her body to face him and brushed her lips against his.

He smiled and kissed her as she turned her head and leaned in to him. "I know you know," he said with a laugh.

Lana looked at him with a sad look on her face. "I don't think the other person will be pleased to hear this secret of yours." She laughed.

He smiled. "What other person?" he said with a laugh.

Lana raised an eyebrow. "So, you admit to lying to me, do you?" She turned around so she was kneeling on the bench and placed her arms over his shoulders and around his neck. "That's not a good start." She smiled.

He chuckled. "No, I never lied to you. All I said was that there was something I wanted to say to someone."

"I know." She looked deep into his eyes, allowing herself to swim in the pools of his soul. "You've never done or said anything bad to me. I don't think I deserve you."

"How can you say that? You're the most beautiful, most wonderful person I've ever met!" Adrian said quietly. "And besides, you've never said or done anything bad to me either, so we're even."

Lana thought for a moment. "That's not true. I flicked coffee at you, and I recall covering you with soda." She smiled, then grimaced slightly. "Not to mention your cut."

Scion finishes training with his sword and goes to take a swim.

Adrian laughed. "Those don't count. The coffee was all fun, and the soda was purely accidental. And if the cut counts, so do the bruises, and I've got you there."

She points to several places on her body as she speaks. "And there...and there...and there." She smiled. "You're right, you're not very nice. You beat me black and blue. And then you tell me you love me." A mock troubled look touches her features. "What am I to believe?"

He laughed. "The second part. I could've hit you a lot harder."

A crease etched in Lana's brow. "And now the truth really comes out. You told me I was good with a blade, and all the time you were 'pulling your punches', so to speak." She playfully pinched his cheek. "You are lucky I love you, otherwise you would be in serious trouble." She laughed.

After getting bored with swimming, Scion gets out and decides to walk around the academy looking for something to entertain him or at least give him a challenge of sorts.

"Thank you." Michelle walked down the hall, slowly, cautiously. Finding the admissions director's office, she recited her introduction quietly. A tall man walking down the corridor saw the brunette talking to herself and raised his eyebrows. Michelle knocked on the door, listening quietly for a reply.

Daja: Can I help you my dear? *he said, his scarlet eyes meeting hers. He stood strong of frame. He was about 6"4 and had pale skin.

"Yes, I was wondering if I could enroll in your academy this year. I know I came in late, but I have the will to make up what I have missed. And I will pay what is required tuition right now. Do you have availability?" She handed him a file of her schooling records, it also had the entrance exam and essay.

Daja: Yes...
Ravelyn would let her in...I must do as she would...God I hope they can restore her.
Tell me which classes you are taking, and I'll tell you of you're teachers. *he said with a wry smile.*

Michelle smiled, looking up, her long hair trailing. A cold chill came from her ear, I hope he didn't see that, she thought as she covered up her pointed ear. "If you don't mind, I would like to take any recent history course, a political science course, as well as physics and whatever math is required."

Daja: I'm afraid that you have come to the wrong academy my dear...this is for...advanced students. Telekenetics, manipulations, Adv. Magic, Adv. Combat, and Elementals...I'm sure that you have come to the wrong school. *he said* And no need to hide anything from me, nor any of us here...*he smiled softly and rested his prominant canines on his bottom lip.* We are, different here...

"Let me rephrase that, I am here to learn delegacy and leadership. Tell me the courses I must take, please." She tried to brush her hair over her ear inconspicously. "Perhaps a little magic...."

Daja: You don't seem to get it...this is a school for learners of magic, of combat, and of elementals. This is not a normal academy... and as I said, you need not hide anything from me, my name is Daja. We accept any races into this school, as many of the teachers..*he paused and smiled, revealing his fangs* are different.

"Manipulation is a means of political science, Mr. Daja. And that is what I need to study. In that case, please sign me up for Magic, Manipulation, swordfighting and elementals."

In Character:

Michelle pulled back her hair, holding it back like a ponytail while she looked at the man's desk. She looked up, witnessing the man take in that she was an elf, as the rest of Ruhr was. <shhhh....no one knows that...yet>

Daja: I must admit I am not the receptionist...*he said as he came around the desk to meet Michelle in the front* I am the headmaster of the school. You will be accepted here...for if the students accept a vampire as their headmaster, I'm sure that they will accept an elf...you are welcome here.

"Thank you, Mr. Daja. You will not regret this." She got up and shook his hand, noticing his height. Even though she was five feet ten inches, he still towered over her.

Daja: Just call me Daja. *he said with a smile* You'll find a dorm room already prepared for you down the hall and to the right..a few students might be stray around the halls, if you need help, ask them...and if they question you being here or give you the slightest bit of trouble, say you're here by Rave's word...and they'll give you no trouble at all.

"Thank you," she said as she exited the room and following his instructions walking down the hall. A few students stood at the end of the corridor, one looked Harakin. Her previous travels there allowed her to identify the Ruhrian allies quickly. Well, the headmaster let me in without having to tell him that I am the daughter of the Chancellor of Ruhr. She couldn't find her room, and was a little hesitant about walking to the group. Michelle made certain her ears were not visible, and walked up to them. She smiled and said, "Hi, can any of you help me find this room?"

Adrian turned from where he was leaning on the back of the bench. There was a young Ruhrian woman there, not noticing she was in the entrance to a courtyard, with a grassed-over floor and benches scattered lberally around. "Yeah, sure. What room is it?" he answered back.

Michelle handed him a sheet of paper with all the information from the entrance meeting, she looked around as the Harakin looked up in deep thought. "Can you help me?"

Daja watched in darkness from the doorway, Adrian knew he was there, and knew not to draw attention to him. Room twenty six, Adrian..

"Yeah, sure," Adrian replied. "Room twenty-six. Yeah. You almost passed it to ask me," he said with a chuckle. "It's just down that hallway you just came through, first corridor to your right. First door on your right. You can't miss it. It's got '26'on the door, as well."

"Oh, thank you. I guess I just got a little nervous there. My name is Michelle, what is yours?" A slight breeze blew her hair as she took in her surroundings.

"Adrian Ravenstar," Adrian replied. The breeze brushed the hair from over her ears for just a moment, and Adrian's fine-tuned senses (OOC: Eight years in the MEEF does that to a person) caught the pointed ear beneath.

That selfsame breeze brushed the unzipped jacket he was wearing, sweeping it up and billowing out from his shoulders, revealing the pistol in the small of his back shamelessly.

Daja looked at Adrian. Adrian caught his eyes amongst the darkness. He stared at him intently for a moment, observing then Michelle. Adrian...I'll see to it that Qui hasn't killed Joshua, and Creo...Creo must be dealt with. Watch over things for a while for me... *he slipped into the darkness and was gone.

Seth looked at Eclipse, waiting for a response. "What methods do you mean of...eternall life isn't such a great thing...grant I would have made the same choice with the options Rave offered me, but still...your mortality...is not something to give away."

"I ... Have heard of a way ... To never age," Eclipse replied.

I know no details. To find them, I would have to wait until SHine communes with me again. She knows the details. A sorceress that strong ... She knows.

OOC: Shine is an incredibly powerful sorceress. She just knid of ... unlocked ... her magical talent.
