Kenja: I wish Rave was here...she could stop him..*this brought tears to her eyes, but she held them back*

Phoenix still enraged and still swiming under water resurfaces for a split second and goes back under and tries to beat his record.

Vacit enters the pool and begins to look around for the Captain. He notices some one swimming, and really not feeling up to the task to probe him, he clears his throat.
"Captain? I must speak with you concerning the Combat classes of the Academy."

"It is only because Rave is dead that he is in this state," Joshua says as he putts down his coffee and holds Kenja.

Kenja: I try to manage...she was a mother to me...I can't beleive she's really gone...

"I gess I should tell you what happened," Joshua says still holding Kenja.

Kenja: What are you talking about? *she said and looked up at him quizically*

"Over the summer Rave saved my life. I was assassinated. She brought me back from the dead. Yet I still see hell every night," Joshuha says.

Kenja: Rave has a knack for saving peoples lives...like Vaughn...except this time, Daja was not there to save her. He arrived too late....

"I nevr had a chance to repay her for what she did for me," Joshua said as he lowered his head a bit.

Kenja: I don't think I recall her every asking for a payment...*she smiled* That's just the way she was...that's what people loved about her. She gave herself before others.

"I didn't care if she wanted repayment or not I still would find someway to repay her for what she did," Joshua said as he raises his head and kisses Kenja.

Kenja: *kisses Joshua* She knows...she's an angel..she's probably watching over the academy as we speak..

"God I missed you. When that bullet hit I found myself thinking of you," Joshua says as he hugs Kenja

Kain had decided to leave things be. He understood what was going on..but there was nothing he could do. Not as he was, too weak. Or so he thought, the Brightblade was still in his hands, it sustained him still, his bloodlust gone, his mind filled with clarity. Without the blade, Kain might have done something very foolish, if though loyal. They where right to not allow me to know about this...


" Granting rest to the dead I see." Kain's voice was soft, and echoed in the graveyard eeriely, his voice eminating from behind him.

Alexander turned to see Kain.

There was nothing but fog, it covered the ground, suffocating it almost. Slowly, Kain formed from the mist, his features forming, along with the Brightblade. He stood there, watching shrouded by the darkenss and fog. He walked forward and looked at one of the fallen zombies, his body becoming more clear, the Birghtblade had a dull black shine to it.

"Indeed, that existance is not worth living." Kain reflected upon the zombie's demise, it's resurrection was just cruel. No-one deserved that, at that state of exisatance at least.


((Okay... I'll make this simple. During the day, when I'm not around, Phalanix, will you please RP Alex. Kain Shentavo, if we are not on at the same time, and he's in a postion for Kain and him to meet, then you may RP him.))

Kain looked at Alexander oddly. " Aye, that is my real name. "

He plants the blade into the ground inbetween his two outsteached feet. The Brightblade having small whisps of red air flowing around it.

" Well, both of my names are real. But one is my old self, dead and gone."

His voice was quiet, reflective.

"Why don't you tell me about it? Hmm... by the way, you are aware of the fact that Rave is very much alive, are you not?" Alexander said idly. "By the way, you might want to duck." A holy blast shot from his hand and into the zombies that had been massing behind Kain.

Kain abandoned his talking for a second and slashed open a zombie with the Brightblade, trails of the red energy consuming the blade ripping the zombie in two.

The little amount of the zombie was drained by the blade, the blood was leeched by it, and fed into the blade, thuis feeding Kain. Pleasedd by this new found power Kain looked over the blade with new understanding. A vampiric blade which feeds the user. Ideal for my purpose.

" I am afraid my past life few can know of. It is not for my sakes, but for a fate of a nation. If they knew what I am now, it would destroy what I have worked so hard to achieve". Kain talked now as he fought.

He held his outstreached palm and said a word, blue energys speared into one of the zombies, ripping's its soul from it. Zombie's soul where trapped weakly, they could be torn loose and freed.

A.M classes start today in the A.M. room.

A.M classes start today in the A.M. room.

Seni stands in a circular room. The walls are white and alive with energy. As you enter the room, Seni greets you with a smile, and an orb in front of him disappears. The class has begun.

Kain walked into the AM room, his mind clear and ready for what lay ahead of him. Tests, learning and new power. He saw Seni smiling at him, he gave a small smile back. He was relatively happy right now. New promises, a new life, a fresh start. New knowledge, which he could never have known or comprehended as a mortal.

He did not carry the Brightblade with him, he had no weapons. Very little armour, only the black bracers and kneepads. His cloak was with him, was it always was, with his insigna.

Kenja enters the A.M room after Kain, smiling at Seni.

Kenja: It's good to see you again.

Seni: It is good to be seen again.

(classes again will not be rp'd, but the outcome will be posted at the end of class. I'm off till tonight. Have fun you guys.)

In the lesson Kain discovered something rather remarkable about himself. It was something small, but significant no less.

Kain's skin had a small amount of immunity to magic, the skin absorbed it strangly. It was only a weak protection, only the simplest of cantrips would be fully absorbed and rendered harmless, but it was something. Perhaps with time Kain thought, it would become more of a powerful defence.

During the lesson Kain learned of the skills of which he had only touched upon before, channeling was paramount before, the only important piece. But now, the other techniques where opened up to him, understanding sinking in. Indeed, this life offered far greater possibilitys than his old Kain thought.

Elaïne went to the starbuck and decided to eat something.

I haven't eaten for what? A hundred years?

She looked at the menu and pointed at a picture.

"This one," she said to the waitress.

She was still under the shock of the last conversation she had with Lana.

"Anything to drink?"

Oh, yes, I'm supposed to drink too.

"A... A glass of milk, please."

Lana stepped out of the shower, feeling revived. The warm water revitalising her body. She had forgotten how long she had been in her wet clothes.

She walked over to the computer and sent of a few emails for her family. Wasn't that what Elaïne had said. Spend time with your loved ones. Well, this was the best she could do from here.

She switched off the computer and walked over to the window. To think, this morning I was ready to leave, and now I'm looking forward to staying.

Elaïne was walking back at the Academy. She was all focussed on the taste of the donut she had eaten.

I almost forgot what it was to eat.

She went to the pool and sat on the same chair she was an hour before. She touched it with her palm as to feel how real it really was.

If Zacharian hadn't asked me to stay out of all of this, I probably wouldn't have met her.

Katarina heads to the A.M. room, and greets Seni, as well as introducing herself to the other students.

"So Seni", Katarina asks,"What do we learn this year?"

Lana left her room and headed down to the stables. If there was something she liked even more than swimming it was riding. She loved how free she felt, galloping across endless fields.

As she entered she took a moment with each of the horses. Getting a feel for the one that would suit her best. The animal would always let you know if it wanted you as a rider. She spoke softly to each of them as she ran her hand down their necks and across their backs.

Finally she found the one she wanted. She grabbed a saddle and reins and lead the horse out. She spoke to him the whole time that she was making him ready. Once they were both prepared, she climbed up onto his back and rode out of the stable yard.

Elaïne stood up and walked to the pool. She put her red dress down and jumped into it, naked. She let herself drown into the water until she reached the ground. She touched it as to regain speed and got back to the surface.

The sky was pure like crystal. She let the sensation of the water run onto her body. This was a good day.

"Nothing happens by accident," she heard her mother say back from her souvenirs.

"Back from my souvenirs," she muttered to herself.

Lana rode out into a field, and allowed the horse its head. Soon they were galloping across the open expanse of green. All thoughts and cares were swept away.

The wind caught her hair, sending it flowing behind her like a cloak. She closed her eyes feeling a slight breeze carassing her face. She felt the horse's muscles moving under her.

She opened her eyes and brought the horse back to a walk. Back home she would have foregone the use of a saddle, but then she knew her own horse, and she wasn't sure how this one would react.

She kicked her mount on again, and was soon racing the wind again.

Elaïne climbed onto the rocks next to the pool and laid down on them. They were hot and soon she could feel her naked body warming up under the sun. She could feel the water slowly changing into vapor. She smiled.

Yes, this is really a good day.

*talking to Kelly* "So, what brings you to this academy?"

Eclipse sighed and stepped out of her room. She'd been asleep for a very long time (Classic thing for me to do if I've been away) and had no idea what had happened lately. She made her way down to the pool, looking for someone to talk to or something to do.

OOC: Haraki, check your T-Grams.

Elaïne spotted a presence as Eclipse was getting near the pool. She didn't open her eyes, still wanting to feel the action of the light onto her skin.

Following a blistering gallop, Lana turned the horse and headed back to the stables. There was nothing as fulfilling as a rigorous ride to brush away the cobwebs and make you feel alive.

As she entered the yard, she dismounted and walked the horse back to his box. She took off the saddle and reins, placing them back where she got them from.

Returning to the horse, she grabbed a brush and began to slowly stroke the horse, a kind of thank you. As she worked, she began to hum; this time a merrier tune.

Eclipse reached the pool, sitting down and enjoying the feel of the sun on her face. She wondered just what had happened while she recovered the sleep she hadn't gotten in the last year.

She sighed. "Nothing to do..." she murmured, and brought her hand up in front of her face, turning it to look at it. Ordinary. She sighed. "Nothing to do..."

Then she decided to do something she'd not done in a very long time. She moved her fingers a certain way, and cast the only spell she knew, and as far as she knew, the only one her weak magic could cast.

A tiny pinprick of white light was supposed to appear for a short while, illuminating a small area around it, and then disappear. Instead, something very spectacular happened.

A globe about 18 inches in diameter of blinding white light appeared hovering about ten feet over the pool, almost as bright as the sun, shining a blinding white light over everything in the pool. Even through closed eyelids, Eclipse could see the light, and it still hurt her eyes. All she could think to do was command it to go up and disappear.

The globe rose, flying very fast, very high into the sky, where it shone like a second sun for about half a minute before finally acknowledging Eclipse's command to disappear.

Elaïne watched as the globe got up in the sky then looked at Eclipse.

"That was quite impressive," she said with a smile.

"Well ... Not quite ... Startled is more the word I'd use. It's only ever been the size of a pinhead, and ... well ... A lot less bright," Eclipse said kind of sheepishly.

She turned and waved gently at Brian, on the other side of the pool just before walking to the woods.

Eclipse watched her go and then sat down again, wondering what she had meant by that.

"Yes. I have enrolled for the advanced combat and manipulations classes, though they appear to not have started yet. Yourself?"

"Well, I'm Technical Faculty, so I'll be helping teach Advanced Combat. Although I could probably learn some from the magic classes..."

"Magic has interested me for some time, but it would not be practical for me to learn it, as it would not serve me very well back home."

"Yes it is nice to meet you to," Kelly says "And Phoenix is my hero because of what he has done. Everheard of the 1 million death reblion?"

"I am afriad not. My nation has only recently decided to start dealing with the other nations of the world. That is partly why I am here. But, about this rebellion?"

"As I recall," Eclipse threw in, "That was the rebellion that nearly tore apart Phalanix and nearly killed most of the SPARTANs. Also the one Phoenix refuse to take international aid for."

"I see. A very costly gamble by Phalanix. I am unfamiliar with the term SPARTAN."

"Yes it almost tore Phalanix apart. 1 million died. Phoenix lead his squad on a suicide mission 4 were killed while the other 7 escaped while he pressed on. He alone slaughtered 150 rebles with basic SPARTAN equipment," Kelly says still looking at Phoenix "SPARTANs are super soldiers. They were trained from age 6"

"Then I guess you are very thankful to have him on your side. He would be a national hero if in my country. A man of his great strength would go far. Do not take offense, but I assume he has few friends?"

Domino looks at her reflection in a window. Her cloaks were dirty, her hair a mess and her face had traces of blood on it. She walks into the pool area muttering under her breath about what Anubis could do with Hades. Seeing the others, Domino nods and sits down.

Zed finishes his drink and walks out of the bar heading for the dorms.

"Your right I don't," Phoenix says as he resurfaces.

*turning to Phoenix* "I beg your pardon if I have offended you. I was only inquiring about you and your deeds." *bows head slightly* "I am Brian. A pleasure to meet a great warrior such as yourself."

Eclipse turned, seeing Domino a;pproach. She politely excuxsed herself from the other two and made her way towards Domino. "Are you all right?" she asked.

"Yes, just a little bruised. My superiors have harsh punishments for lack of progress. After they finished educating me on those processes, they dumped me in a field."

Domino sighed. "I have to endure 3 more years of this, than I am free. I'll be suprised if I don't end up in the pits by then."

"No you didn't offend me in any way," Phoenix says as he swims to the edge of the pool "Lt Phoenix-117. It is a pleasur to meet you as well"

"Why do you work for them if they treat you like this?" Eclipse asked Domino.

"What classes are you taking?"

"None I'm here to see my brother through the year. We havn't had that much luck with out of nation visits," Phoenix says

Instead of processing me into the work camps, they made me an "Envoy", meaning I check out the events of the mortal world. In three years, I'm able to take my life back."

"Oh. Well. If you are willing, I'd like to test myself against someone of your caliber, to see how well I can stand up to you. Will you accept?"

"With or with out my arrmor?" Phoenix asks as he pulls himself out of the pool.

"A true test would be with out, but you can use it if you like. I had in mind a duel with swords, as that is my specialty."

"Fine then I'll use my own sword," Phoenix says with a smirk on his face

"Fine by me. I hope you don't have anything against plasma," Phoenix says as he walks off to the gym to colet his arrmor.

IC: "Bring what you want. Just so we don't kill each other." Brian walks to his room, changes into his practice garb and grabs his weapons. He then walks to the AC room to await Phoenix.

Phoenix walks in with a metal rod in each hand and hits a switch and they suddenly come alive with Neon-Blue energy.

Having finished at the stables, Lana walked to the ice cream bar. The glaring sun made her want something cool and refreshing. She walked slowly, her eyes flashing across her surroundings.

Yes, I am pleased I decided to stay.

Qui entered the A.C. room, usual bad ass attitude gracing his character. Her smiled as he caught sight of Joshua...owing him a back hand. But then he saw Brian, and decided to wait out the match, and see whom the victor would be.
He sat in a chair in the darkness nearby, unnoticed by both of the sparrers. This would be quite interesting.

"First blood from the torso," Phoenix says as he takes a fighting stance

Brian raises the katana above his head, the end pointing towards Phoenix. One arm is stretched out for balance.

Phoenix quickly hits his blades together and lunges forward and starts aiming for Brian's torso

Brian slides to the side, bringing the katana down to deflect the incoming plasma. He uses his left arm to hit Phoenix in the back as he goes past.

(OOC Is the AM class over? Because I want to rp some more, seeing the battle which unfolds here. I might have missed it)

Twirling around, he pulls out his daggar. He moves to circle Phoenix.

"Not bad. But not good enugh," Phoenix says as he jumps backwards and takes a fighting stance again.

Kain watched the two combaticants dueling. An interesting duel, the sword that glowed blue was interesting indeed. He had never seen such a weapon, it was not a sword in that sense...not a normal sword. It would be interesting to see how the Brightblade would effect it.....

Kain watched from a distance, keeping to the shadows and corners, arms crossed eyeing the proceedings. He was watching thier movemtns, thier styles. He did not know when he might need to use it.

His cape blew slightly in the wind, giving off a ruffling noise, but that was all that was heard from Kain. The Brightblade was sheaved but still presant. It watched too...

"I am just getting warmed up" replied Brian.

Phoenix suddenly lunges forward then jumps up and flips over Brian and uses the blunt of his sword again to hit him in the back.

Bracing for such an attack, Brian tries to duck from the hit. In the same motion, he swings his daggar up to try to lock Phoenix's sword inbetween the blades.

Phoenix quickly moves his second sword and uses the blunt to hit Brain's sword arm.

Qui looks totally uninterested at the two. Tis just child's play, he remarked to himself with a twisted smirk on his face. His eyes passed between the two, following ever movement. Most of which, could be capitalized on in several different manners. Still, until Vaughn returned, he had nothing to concern himself with other than to wait for Phoenix's spar to be over.

His mind slightly drifted over to Kenja. It was his first attraction to her that convinced him to sire her. What did he see in Joshua? Weak to the strength of an elder, not one of high power. An elite no doubt, yet still, he was one of the strongest in the nation, his mind was brilliant where as Joshua was normal compared to him. What did this girl see in him...

I shouldn't have granted it to her in the first place... he said softly to himself.. Damn fledgling...what would be the best to do with her?... *his mind drifted from Kenja back over to the battle

It would seem that he adapts quickly. Good. Kain coniued to watch, absorbing the techniques, bearing some tricks for his own combats.

He did not know that the Birghtblade on his back was learning too, absorbing the proceedings, understanbding each warriors technique.

Brian does not notice the cut he recieves from this, yet drops to the ground to fling Phoenix over.

Brian finishes tossing Phoenix, but his left arm gives out due to the cut and the blow. He drops his daggar.

"It is not over yet."

"Not for me," Phoenix says as he uses his elbow to hit brian in the back

Brian rolls over to his right while flipping himself off the ground. He uses his now daggarless left arm to deflect the blow while bringing his sword down to try to slice across Phoenix's belly.

Phoenix barly makes it away from the slash but his shirt is cutt "Very nice," Phoenix says as he jumps backwards "But that was my fav shirt."

Joshua still bored outa his mind walks out of his dorm and starts walking to a feild and sits down and starts to think.

Lana waited for her ice cream to arrived. The food halls in this academy seemed unlessly quiet. Strange, back home students were always eating. I guess they don't have time with all the fighting. She smiled to herself. Do dead people eat ice cream? She put that down as another question to ask when she met Elaine.

The desert arrived moments later. Lana picked up her spoon and began to eat.

Kain sees Joshua walk off. He was boring of the fight anyway, and decides to follow him, coming rather silently behind him looking at the view, still standing.

Qui was apparently unamused with the fight. He got up and exited the room quietly. Ever since Rave had died, he couldn't see the point in anything, making the day seem useless, and the night, which he formerly embraced, a dull darkness. Life had now lacked it's normal vigor. He didn't want to back hand Joshua...now you knew something was wrong.
He stepped into the sun, not noticing the little warmth it provided to his pale cold skin. He walked into the cafeteria and saw a few students sitting there. What hadn't he had in a long while. He smiled at this choice and sat down with a vanilla icecream. He ate it slowely.

"Why are you fallowing me?" Joshua asks without looking back.

"No reason." Kain paused and looked out blankly for a while thinking.

"Why do you wish to be alone?" Kain looked towards Joshua now, Kain was slightly behind him, he simply loked in his direction.

Lana looked up as the new arrival took a seat and eat an ice cream. She had seen him at the pool. She remembered he'd been soaked by that Elite woman. She didn't know his name. She didn't think he was a student. Must be a teacher.

"I have no answer for that question anymore," Joshua says as he keeps walking.

Kelly still at the pool decides to put her arrmor back on and get some ice cream something she hasn't had in years. She quickly putts it on and starts walking

Kain looked upon him with no feelings. He was not concerened with him. Looking around for a while longer, Kain faded from view and left.

Qui turns around and notices a girl sitting at the table directly behind him. He swings around. He knew this one to be Lana, from Gehenna Tatarus. Seems that Elaine had taken quite a liking to the girl. He wondered what classes she was talking in this school.
He smiled at her, his unforgetable charming smile. His crimson eyes searched for hers, his pale skin bringing them out even more. There was an unmistakable, yet subtle resemblence of Rave...
Qui: I take it you are a student here, may I inquire you're name? *he already new the students names, but told a lot from the person's character by the way that they responded*

OOC: All the people suddenly crave Ice Cream?! :lol: Oh, why not... even an Assault Marine can't pass up a bowl of Ice Cream...

IC: Zed walked into the cafeteria and got a bowl of quadruple chochlate(Milk, Dark, White, Fudge) and sat down with a cup of coffee. Talk about a sugar rush...

Removing his helmet he looks around. Qui was at another table talking to a student and he spotted a few others nearby. Then he decided that looking at people could wait and starts eating.

Kelly finaly finished suiting up walked to the food court and walked dup to the ice cream place and ordered a chocolat chip cookie dough ice cream ((YUM))

Lana returned his smile. "I'm Lana." She laughed. "Lana Farrell, student in AC and Manipulations. And you are?" She hoped he wouldn't be offended that she didn't know who he was.

Kelly with her ice cream walks over to a table and sits down and removes her elmet and starts to eat .

Qui chuckles at the rapid amount of people getting icecream. Either he was a role model to these people or they just needed sugar. He thought the second one was more likely, and laughed slightly at this. He finishes the bowl of icecream and acknowleges the other students with a cold glare of his. Normal people would be frightened of it, yet the students had accepted this as a greeting.

Kelly was alittle shocked at how man people were getting ice cream but then the thought left as she started eatting again

Lana returned his smile. "I'm Lana." She laughed. "Lana Farrell, student in AC and Manipulations. And you are?" She hoped he wouldn't be offended that she didn't know who he was.

Qui: You haven't heard the stories? All the better than..*he grins* I am Qui Shentavo...I teach manipulations. *He was impressed with her directness, but said nothing of it.*

A slight worried glint appeared in her eye, but she cast it away quickly. "No, I've not heard the stories. Anyway, I like to judge people for myself." She presented him her hand. "Best keep in your good books if I'm going to pass Manipulations."

*in a somewhat condesending tone* "Terribly sorry about your shirt, but you should have known not to wear it."

Brian ducks down to avoid any counterattack, and sweeps the floor with his feet to knock Phoenix off his feet.

Phoenix goes down on the floor and swings his swords at Brian's torso

Kain returned to watch the fight forming from the mist which came about, Kain came from a greater height this time. He had a better perspective of what was occouring. The wind was harder, which sent Kain's small cloak flowing to its direction, but Kain felt no chill of it. He continued to learn thier moves.

Zed finishes the bowl and drinks his coffee. Wondering what he could do to stave off the oncoming sugar rush, he gets up and heads to the bar.

"That is good to here," he smiles. "The stories are true though..." his eyes flashed for a moment, and his smile widened. He took Lana's hand and kissed it lightly. Damn those old fashion bad ass manipulations teachers! :roll: "It was a pleasure to meet you..." he stood up and nodded and passed out of the room almost as quickly as he had came.
Qui's brother, Mar, still sat at a table in the room. The two looked nothing like each other. While Qui looked like Rave, Mar had lighter features. Blonde hair and green eyes. He was an extremist when it came to popularity in the college he was attending. He had attended 17 colleges so far. Not that he didn't pass, no he finished all four years in each...he just liked the deception used to get into those schools...every four years he claimed to be only nineteen again. His image never changed, so it was quite easy. He was also known as the security in the school, besides Qui.

The two swords slashed at Brians bare torso. He flipped back, unaware that one had actually hit him.

Phoenix flips himself up and back into a combat stance

Brian finally notices the blood slowly dripping from his wound. "It would seem that you have won. I must say, that was quite wonderful, to go against another person." He offers his hand to cease the fight and to congradulate Phoenix.

Phoenix deactivates his blades and putts one of the rodds into the other hand and shakeds Brians hand "Very nice yourself."

Kain saw the final blow.

A resounding, slow clap came form above from Kain, but it was not a normal clasp. It was an odd clap, as his hands where cloven.

"Well done." Kain's voice was slightly synical, he looked down unto the two.

Lana should have been surprised at the sudden disappearance of the Qui, but she was beginning to grow used to the strangeness of the place. Either that or she was getting used to her effect on people.

She looked around the room, and her eyes fell on a couple of other people still there. She smiled. At least I haven't frightened them all away. She picked up her spoon and continued on her ice cream.

Phoenix gave Kain a nod and left the AC room. He started walking towards the food court.

Brian looks up to see someone above, but judges by the clapping the figure was being sarcastic and mocking the two in their duel.

*turing back to Phoenix* "I did not figure I could win against you the first time, since you have been training since the age of 6. But it is valuable experience. Seriously though, I am sorry about your shirt. Perhaps the academy has a store with one like it?"

*bows slightly*"Now, please excuse me, but I must do my Kel-nor-im for the day." Brian sheaths his sword, picks up his daggar, and heads towards his room.

Eclipse made her way into the food court (Or whatever) and got herselfa bowl of vanilla ice cream, and a large coffee. She noticed the men who sold them to her seemed to have their gaze travel frequently towards Eclipse' eyes. She snarled at them and the men stopped.

Taking her ice cream and coffee, she made her way to a far table, and started eating her food quickly, hunched over it.

Phoenix walked towards the icecream place and ordered some coffee ice cream. Phoenix took his ice cream to a shadowey table and starteed eating

Lana looked up as even more people entered. This did seem a very popular place for eating. Perhaps I was wrong with my original thought. Although the ice cream bar did seem to fill up and empty very quickly.

She recognised one of the customers as the first person who had spoken to her at the academy. Eclipse, I think her name is. Something to do with AC. She smiled in her direction.

Eclipse looked over and smiled back at Lana. Maybe it was a trick of the light, but to Lana, her eyes seemed to shine gold for a moment. Then it was gone, and they seemed back to their normal green.

Phoenix put his plasma sword hilts on the table and looked at his shirt and tore it off and started eating.

Lana noticed as Eclipse's eyes seemed to change to gold. If it had happend earlier in the day, it may have registered as odd. But after the day, she'd had today, she barely batted an eyelid.

Strange things happen here. She sighed.

She turned her attention to the man that had just entered. He looked like he had been in a fight. She laughed. That's as common here as breathing.

She let her eyes remain on him as he ate his ice cream.

Phoenix looked a Lana with his trademark Icey cold stare and then went back to his ice cream

Lana smiled to herself. Well, I certainly need to get used to icy cold stares. There seems to be a lot of them around here.

She continued to stare, this time with a warm smile on her lips.

Phoenix just shakes his head and laughs. His beep blue eyes seemed warmer now. He kept eating his ice cream ignoring the buzz.

Lana raised her eyebrow and laughed. It was worth a try. She was grateful the temperature in the room had risen several degrees with the thawing of the man's eyes.

She was feeling courageous. The worst he could do was kill her. "Hello, I'm Lana." She smiled. "I'm guessing you're not a student here."

To be honest, I don't think I've met another student yet.

"Nope I'm not a student I'm only here to watch over my little brother. And warp some minds to," Phoenix says with a laugh "I'm Lt Phoenix-117."

"It's a pleasure to meet you Lt Phoenix...um, 117." She smiled. "Do you mind if I call you something shorter?" She shrugged. "And I'd be mighty grateful if my mind was left unwarped. Although everyone at home probably wouldn't notice the difference."

She walked over to his table and extended her hand to him. "I don't believe I've met your brother."

Phoenix kisses her hand. "My brother is Lt Joshua-001. He is in AC and um something else," Phoenix says "And just call me Phoenix."

Lana smiles. "Well, I look forward to meeting Joshua, Phoenix." She sat down. "If you don't mind me asking, have you been fighting? It's just the shirt you discarded looked a little worse for wear."

"Yes I was fighting. I think the mans name was Brian. Were fighting till frist blood from the torso," Phoenix says with a smirk "I won."

Lana laughed, and shook Phoenix's hand. "Congratulations." She leant forward and placed her elbows on the table. "Can I ask you another question? Do you think there is too much fighting in this academy?"

"No I think that it is just fine," Phoenix says "I'm used to fighting all my life."

A wry smile crossed Lana's face. "So, you don't fear for your brother's safety? Why do you feel the need to watch over him?" She laughed lightly. "Or are you doing that for our benefit?"

"Over the summer he was assassinated," Phoenix says to Lana

Lana looked stunned. "I see. And he's still alive because...?"

"Rave saved his life. She brought him back from the dead," Phoenix says remembering teh shock of seeing him alive.

"I'm sorry for asking." She looked saddened. "It's just that there's so much that has happened here that I've never experienced before." She shrugged. "You see, where I come from, you die, and that's it. Here there are people who die, and yet still walk. It's just kind of strange."

"Well Joshua and I are part vampire to," Phoenix says with a smirk.

Lana's head started to hurt. "That would explain it." She looked Phoenix in the eye. "And should my human neck be concerned, surrounded by all these vampires? Or is all that blood sucking a myth?"

"Well me and Joshua re only part vampire. About 12% and threst is pure human. But don't worry," Phoenix says.

"Well, I'll just have to stock up on garlic, just in case." She laughed. Although she couldn't help but feel slightly uneasy about the whole situation.

"Are you somehow connected to the woman who jumped into the pool with a strange armour suit on?"

"Yes she is my squads second sniper," Phoenix says.

"So, she's not a student either?" She looked confused. Well, that's another person to knock off my 'get to know' list.

"How long are you all here for?"

"Just till my other Sniper is done his courses," Phoenix says.

Domino walks into the cafeteria and sits down, not getting any food. She didn't need to eat, being dead. Scanning the room, she sees a few people she has met.

"I guess you mean your brother?" She smiled. "You'll be here the whole school year? I'm surprised you could be spared that long?"

"Yes my brother. Actualy I forcedd them to spare us," Phoenix says laughing

"So why did you come here?" Phoenix asks Lana

Lana smiled. "To learn. Why else would I come here?"

"So what is your status back in your nation?" Phoenix asks Lana.

"If you mean, what do I do in Tartarus, I am currently undergoing training in the Imperial Security Dept." She smiled. "That covers anything from the security of the country right up to protecting the Empress herself."

"You would shocked at what I do," Phoenix says with a smirk

"Let me guess." She went silent as she thought for a minute. "Military? Possibly high ranking, as you have some sway to get yourself posted here with your brother?"

"I'm the Phalanix president and the SEU Squad leader," Phoenix says smirking

Lana was stunned. "Then how can you remain here, when you have such an important role to fulfil in your country?" She looked puzzled. "I don't understand."

"Well the council can fillin for me. And the SCT can cover for the SEU," Phoenix says smirking.

Lana look impressed. "You are obviously very dedicated to your brother. Not many people in your position would leave their country in the hands of others in order to be with a member of their family." She looked him in the eyes. "Are you not worried that in your absence you could be over-thrown?"

"If that happens I bust some caps in some asses," Phoenix says smirking "Ive got a reption that says not to scre with me. I've killed 150 rebles alone. And in total about 5000"

"Well, it is still a brave leader that allows his people out of his sight." She shrugged. "But what do I know?" She said with a smile.

"And 2 of the Elites are in Phalanix," Joshua says with a smirk.

Lana smiled. "I'm not questioning your leadership, just trying to understand that's all." She ran her fingers through her hair. "If you've kept the presidency this long, you must be doing something right, huh?"

"I'll be running for one more term and then I'll hit the military again," Phoenix says with a smirk "And my secret is defending the puplic from rebels. I almost was killedd putting down a rebelion. If the puplic sees you fighting for them then they will stay with you."

"Yes, there's nothing like putting your life on the line to gain the respect of your people." She looked him in the eyes and smiled. "Phalanix is lucky to have you."

"It is only because the rebel scum killed my parents that I lead," Phoenix says.

OOC: Are you two still in the cafeteria like area? I'd like to play around a bit if that's alright.

((Yup Phoenix is going back to the gym to get his arrmor right away))
"If you will excuse me I've got to get my arrmor," Phoenix says as he stands up and grabs is plasma sword hilts and walks towards the gym

As Pheonix prepares to leave the door opens and Byram Vacit and Captain Velt temporarily block the entrance.
"Pardon me," says the older man. (Vacit)
"Indeed," says the Captain, a student in the Advance Combat course. Then he notices the plasma sword Pheonix is holding.
"Tell me, do you have an experience with a more...traditional blade? Something a tad bit less complicated?" Velt asks Pheonix.

Lana watched Phoenix leave, then she picked up her things and headed out of the door. She started the slow walk back to her dorm.

"Yes a Katana why ask?" Phoenix replys.

"I have been looking for a sparring partner," Velt sizes up Pheonix.
"A katana you say? Interesting, I am skilled in several blades, and a katana happens to be on my short list. Perhaps we could arrange a little bit of competition. Unless you have something against using real steel in the gym? And if Director Vacit has no further need of me?" Velt's glance wanders to the old man standing beside him.
"Not immediately. In fact I would not mind observing this match, I have heard many things of the men of Phalanix," Vacit's eyes are like deep pools, a brown almost black. He is very interested in how the so-called SPARTANS of Phalanix are against the Emperor's Sovereign Protectors.

"I have no issues against using old blades. I packeed. Good thing a Elite always comes prepared," Phoenix says with a smirk

"Indeed," one of Vacit's eyebrows arch and he steps aside.
"I await your convenience," says Velt.

Phoenix quickly walks out and heads for his brother's dorm to get his katana.

Zed walked out of the dorm and walked around the grounds, idlely tossing a spare charge pack for his blaster into the air and catching it. He was too bored to think of anything better.

Velt heads toward his own room, to retrieve his katana. Vacit is close behind.
"Will you be there at the onset, Director."
"No, Captain. I must see inquire as to what the Crown Prince learned in Manipulations today, and then I will be on to the gymnasium."
"Of course, Director," Velt watches the man go.

Phoenix opend his brother's dorm and walked in and grabed a black slendeder case and closed the door and walked to the gym.

Several minutes later, Velt enters the gym. He is carrying a simple black case, however, Pheonix notices it has a less than per typica curve to it. It reflects Old Earth's Japan, but it is as if it is manufactured by another nation with its own sense of perfection.
"Shall we allow this competition to draw blood?" Velt asks in a voice conveying neither bloodlust nor real aversion to drawing blood in a match.

"All right then. First blood," Phoenix says as he draws a katana with a black hilt and takes a fighting stance.

Captain Velt draws his own blade, and takes his stance. The loose stance that was taught in the now almost dead schools of the Dominion of Outer Centauri.

Students are able to focus energy to a specific point and use it to their will.
Sheilds can be produced and strengthened with time.
A very large amount of energy can not be controlled.

Phoenix let his stance take the form of past styles that died 50 years ago.

Joshua was sitting in the black feild with bodys laying everywhere. Suddenly he woke up sweat dripping down his face. He had the dream again. He was in a normal feild all alone. I must have fallen asleep He thinks.

OOC: WOW the thread exploded since I last checked...sorry about Calico becoming a debunk character.

IC: Calico sat on the grass and stared into the clear sky, void of any obtrusions, and breathed. He knew that he had kept himself isolated during his time here, but that was his character, he liked peace, quiet, and order and always had hard time letting others get to know him.

A squirrel pranced by excitedly as if on drugs. It stoped suddenly and sat hunched up, guarding something precious in its paws. Calico watched as its eyes darted around wildly searching for anything that might want to take its find. Finally sure that it wasnt being followed the squirrel continued on darting towards the tree line untill finally disapearing.

Calico got up to his feet and walked back towards the academy, towards other people. Then he stopped and thought, while he loved the serenity of being alone he didnt want to have this experiience be much like his others always so distant from people. He decided on finally checking out the AC room and take a work out.

Joshua whipeed the sweat from his face and stands up and begens to walk back to his dorm.

It was as if watching an eagle soar about, Calico danced and floated around the boxing dummy laying a furious barage of hooks and jabs at the stuffed opponent. He ducked and dodged imaginary punches and laying in again with body blows and one resounding uppercut that sent the dummy bounding back and forth on its spring.

Calico slumped back, sweat glistining off his bare chest as it beaded and fell to the floor. He took a long chug from his water bottle and dumped the rest over his head, letting the cool refreshing liquid drip over his body.

Across from him on the matts two others were about to engage in some sword combate and Calico looked towards it with interest. He loved watching people spar, watching two skillfull sword masters was like looking at a perfect painting. It was art, Calico only wished there was someone else there to make a bet with.

The dummy finally stoped bouncing back and forth and Calico turned fiercely, leg springing out like a loaded bullet, striking the dummy square in the head. He turned his attention back to the upcomming duel.

Kain formed inside the AC room, his body froming slowly from the air, he stood in the conrer of the room unoticed. He saw three people, two about to fight antoher just sitting watching. Time to test my combat abilitys on a real target, Kain thought to himself.

He walked quietly over to him, his feet causeing a slight scrape. Viewing the proceedings, he was learning their stances, thier styles. Walking over to Calico he stood slightly behind him, watching the fight.

"I am Kain. You are?" Kain's voice was sturdy and cold. He had him arms crossed, his cloven ands open, his sword still on his back, sheaved, and his red cloak with his insigna upon it in white.

(OOC can I have a description of Calico, I cannot remember. If you want I will give a description of Kain.)
