ooc: there is much about katarina that noone knows, some that not even she knows, dont assume that shes a "Normal" human, even a normal one with magic.
ooc: I like this kind of secrets in a character. However, I also like when they're not incarnated gods. My 2 cents though.

Brian reaches the AC room after a little bit of wandering. Nothing outside indicates whether there's a class or not. He listens, and hear's a loud voice that he can't quite make out through the door. He goes in, only to see Kain confronting Katarina. "Um, I think I'll just stay in the shadows by the door," he thinks to himself.

ooc: She isnt an incarnated god, invincible, or anything like that. that wouldent make it fun. She just has no reason to be scared of Kain. If you really want to know why, ill explain in TGs if you TG me a request.

Zed just watched from where he was sitting. As far as he could tell, this woman had a screw loose. "Uh, it just strikes me that messing with a pissed off vampire, one that has extremely sharp talons in particular, isn't such a bright idea."

He shrugs and leans back.

Lana finally had enough of this eternal bickering. "Would you two both just sit down and shut up? I'm getting bored of this constant I'm better than you rubbish." She looked at them both in turn. "We're here to learn not argue."

Turning to Lana, Katarina says "Now, neither of us ever said we were better, so please, stay out of it. If we dont resolve this, it will get worse."
"And Zed, like i said, ive faced down worse."

*thinking to self* "Where the heck is Qui? Or one of the teachers?"

Elaïne put her hand on Brian's shoulder.

"Don't worry."

*jumps slightly* "Oh, sorry. Wasn't expecting someone to, um....Wait, how did you know that."

She gave him a friendly smile before focussing back at the upcoming confrontation.

"I'd say you'd need to remember in what Academy you are here Brian, don't you think?"

Her tone was calm and soothing.

Lana heard Elaïne's voice and felt instantly relieved. This constant build up of tension jut left her feeling annoyed. Why did people always try to out do each other? It was madness. Instead of fighting each other, they would have been better to learn from each other. She sighed.

Elaïne looked briefly at Lana. Brian could see she seemed to be anxious about Lana's well-being.

Alexander finally reached his room. He had spent most of the week hiking, and was completely exhausted. He smiled. "Well, at least nothing bad can happen now."

"Are you sure?" Kelly says as she leans against the doorframe

Adrian turned to Lana, relieved to see her less tense, more calm. He nodded, smiled, and chuckled.

At this point the door of the room was slammed open and Eclipse stepped through. Her eyes were gleaming gold, and she looked somewhat intimidating, unintentionally. "Good day, everyone," she said. "I'm sorry to inform you that Seth Shentavo, your scheduled AC Instructor, is currently unavailable. I'm Eclipse Ravenstar. I'll be teaching your class today."

Lana smiled at Adrian. She was pleased to have the two people she considered her friends in the same place. She relaxed even more.

She watched in silence as Eclipse entered.

:::Katarina turns from Kain, givina disdainful look in the process:::

"So Adrian, whose sparring who today?", she says.

Adrian shrugged. "I dunno. Ask Eclipse," he whispered back.

Eclipse carried on. "First, I need to know who's an AC student and who isn't, and is here anyway for some strange, bizarre reason unknown even to themselves. And also, are there any questions before we begin?"

Hey wait for me!! Joshua shouts in everyone's minds in the AC room

Lana sat listening to Eclipse, a strong urge to declare herself not a student swept over her. She looked at the others in the room. Butterflies began to flutter in her stomach.

What am I doing here?

Joshua now in full arrmor dashes inside the AC room and stops .

The protective instinct in Adrian's mind flared at this, and he leaned forward and whispered in Lana's ear, "Don't worry. You'll do fine."

"Im in AC, second year student, commonly considered the best combatant in Derieties.", Katarina says to eclipse.

"As am I. I remember that little spar last year," Joshua says smirking.

"Indeed i do", says Katarina. "Shall we have another?"

"Wouldn't hurt. And now faking it this time. That was low," Joshua says as he starts removing his arrmor

Lana looked Adrian in the eyes and smiled. "If I die, you will weep at my funeral, won't you?" She whispered.

"Note to self..." Eclipse mused jokingly out loud. "Do not let Katarina and Joshua spar..."

Adrian looked deep into her eyes. "Of course I would."

Katarina cracks her neck and assumes a martial arts stance.

Joshua cracks hisneck and then cracks his arms and legs and enters his fighting stance

Eclipse sighed. "No, you two. NO fighting in AC class," she said with a laugh. "Unless I pair you."

"Well thats no fun then," Joshua says as he cracks his back

"Come on" Says Katarina, "We fought last year and it was a draw, we need a rematch."

Eclipse laughed. "Ha ha ha no. Not right now. Maybe later when I'm actually making pairs."

"Ya I need to see if the mettal attached to my bones is as strong as they say," Joshua says laughing

Lana raised her eyes to heaven and sighed. She knew she wasn't going to enjoy this class at all.

"Lets get moving and on to later then." Katarina says.

"Okay ..." Eclipse murmured. "Looks like we're all here. Anyway -" Fill in other people who aren't here making pairs "-and that leaves two pairs ... Joshua and Katarina, and Lana and my assistant, Adrian."

Adrian started at this, standing up and shouting at Eclipse. "You're crazy! There's something wrong with you!"

Eclipse just laughed, then beckoned Adrian over and whispered something in his ear. Adrian stood back up. "Fine. But only because of that."

Joshua strechs for a moment and smiles.

Eclipse stood. "Zed, looks like you don't have a partner. I guess you're sparring with me, then."

She smiled and cracked her knuckles.

Lana exhaled deeply. She was grateful that she had not been put against either Joshua or Katarina, but she still wasn't looking forward to sparring with Adrian. She smiled at him nervously.

Adrian smiled gently. "Don't worry. I'm not out to kill you or anything. I'm here to help train you. Let's just find a place away from all them ..."

He gestured out to a place near to the doors, and a ways away from anyone else.

"Are you sure?" Kelly says as she leans against the doorframe

"Spoke too soon, I see."

Outside, a dropship was going closer to the school. The Inquisitor pilot sighed. "This is my most unpleasant duty yet. I don't know how his majesty will take this news."

Adrian smiled gently. "Don't worry. I'm not out to kill you or anything. I'm here to help train you. Let's just find a place away from all them ..."

He gestured out to a place near to the doors, and a ways away from anyone else.
I'd be more worried about her not hurting you, Elaïne thought to herself, thinking about all the energy levels her mother was able to use.

Kelly laughs abit but hears something in her suit's com unit and suddenly had a look of shock on her face.

Zed stands and smiles, taking off his uniform jacket.

Reaching down for his blades, he instead kicks high and stops it just before he would have clipped Eclipse's jaw. Seeing she didn't flinch, he puts his leg down and smiles. "Seems I have a challenge..."

Eclipse smiled. "Hell yeah."

She reached down to her thighs and unsheathed her twin katars, wielding one in each hand, just looking into Zed's eyes. She could tell a lot about a person and their fighting style by their eyes.

The Dropship hovers. On board, a communications switch opens up. "ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS! THIS IS INQUISITOR DARQUIS! WE ORDER YOU ALL TO THE FORECOURT IMMEDIATELY. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN THE COMPLETE DESTRUCTION OF THIS SCHOOL, AND A HOLY WATER BOMB BEING DETONATED. I REPEAT, ALL STUDENTS TO THE FRONT OF THE SCHOOL!"

Roania, I reccomend you not to try this while Rave's not around, as

a) Rave/Qui/Daja would probably tear the chopper to shreds
b) There's probably safeguards to protect the Academy only Rave knows about
c) Bad form to attack someone's place when they aren't there.

Alexander grabs Kelly and runs outside to the inquisitors. "What the hell..."

Darquis held out a ring. "It is my solemn duty to report that you are to return to Roania immediately, to take up your role as DRO."

"What..."

Eclipse stepped outside. "Not unless he wants to go, friend. I'm afriad you hold no power here."

Phoenix jogs ocer to the AC room with the shotgun in his hand and looks at Joshua and throws him a black bag. "Lets kick some ass if they issue anymore threats," PHoenix says as Joshua nods as he putts his helmet on and catches the bag.

"What the hell is going on here?" Kelly says

"What the hell?"

Zed puts down the blade and walks over and attaches his armor, then uplinks to the orbiting strike fleet.

Pulling out a couple large trilithum missles(capable of leveling a small building), he loads them into his launcher, then puts his helmet on and grabs a DEMP.

Then he heads out the door. He walks out of the building carrying the launcher over his shoulder.

15 more inquisitors jump down behind Darquis. "Your father has been severely injured, and can, for now, no longer perform his duties as CRO."

"Can't Rachel take over?" He stared at the Inquisitor. "Oh... no."

"I'm afraid so, sir. The attack wiped out most of our government at a single strike. Your sister is dead."

"Your bull shitting me," Kelly says as she turns off her Plasma Swords

Darquis looked at the Phalanixian. "I wouldn't be so cocky. We had the same general impression when we heard about your troubles." He turned to Alexander. "My lord... no, my DRO, you must return to Roania immediately."

Alexander just stood their, stunned. He turned to Kelly. "Is this a dream?"

Kelly slaps Alexander "Nope it's real," She says

Zed, still holding the launcher, walks up to the Inquisitor. "Okay, you wanna pull him out... fine. I got no problem with that. But you threatened to blow this whole place to Hell. Please tell me why, or I might get angry."

"That's... what I thought." He pulled his helmet down. From within came the sound of muffled cursing.

Eclipse sheathed her katars and asked one simple question. "ALex, are you going to go back with them?"

Qui walks into the A.C. room and escorts the inquisitors out...in his usual manor. :D

Qui: This is my school...you're lucky your not dead...yet. I suggest you get the hell out of this school and never return. You have no grounds to be here in the first place and are trespassing.
*he shoves them out the door and seals it.*...there was magic protecting this place, and spells to insure that it was fine against intruders.

Qui: NEVER HOLD A WEAPON TO MY STUDENTS OR IT SHALL BE YOU'RE DEATH DAY! *he says in a rage* Get the hell off of this land, you were not invited here and are trespassing! *he was completely furious..and with his power, it would prove more than deadly.* and you're lucky I'm in a good mood... He escorts them off the lands and closes the door. This land was protected by Shentavo magic...and by muscle... Qui scoffed at them and turned to the students.

Turning to kelly, he said, "Turning those who hurt my sister into chopped liver."

"Oh, is that all? Dont worry about it, Deriens equivalent of Spartan Elites are there, The celestials. my father, is there, and he is as good as 4 or 5 celestials, and he has a good 10,000 troops with him, as well as some highly advanced armor units. It will be fine, dont worry." Says katarina.

Kain just remains in the AC room unfettered by that womans responce. A foolish one, yet she seems to have some power to back up here words. She is hiding something. Still, I will not be spoken to like that by a meer mortal. He was intreged to what powers she did have, but at the same time hought he foolish. to be untreatened by myself she either does not know who I am or she is powerful indeed. To attack Qui...to treat me so callosly. She walks upon thin ice...

Kain admired her bravery, if it was a foolish kind of bravery.

Kain prepared himself, he needed a sparring partner. He flexed his muscles, and readyed for combat, turning his head around, and loosing his body.

"Anyone wish to spar with me?" Kain looked around in the AC room.

Lana returned to the AC, a sudden urge to be back in Tartarus filled her mind. Everything seemed so simple there. Granted they had their troubles, but nothing like this.

That's probably the reason I cannot connect with half the people here.

She took her place by the door where Adrian and she were standing before the interuption. She knew that she should feel pity for the man that had to leave, but these things happened.

Everyone loses someone.

Her mind rested on her own loss, on Adrian's troubles and then on the nightmare that Elaïne was experiencing. A sadness filled her heart, yet she knew that she had to vanquish these feelings if she was going be able to fight, and attempt to beat Adrian. She smiled, then grimaced at the thought.

Well, here goes nothing.

She waited for the class to resume.

" You have a sparing partner?" Kain turned his head, looking at Lana. Kain was preparing himself for the upcoming combats. He kept his sword in his sheave, and reached for one of the swords in stock. Not wanting his partner to die from the enchantments held on the sword, he went for a similer blade to his own. A bastard sword, it could be used in either one or two hands. The sword blade was simple, it had no runes nor patterns upon it. The hilt was simple and practical, it was slightly curved around Kain's hands.

He took a few practice slashes to gets to grips with the wieght of the weapon. Pleased with the sword's weight, he turned and looked at Lana completely awaiting her answer. Hopefully, she would spar with him...

Katarina turns from joshua, leaving him to his thoughts. She returns to the A.C. room, and seeing Kain there, she asks if he would like to spar.

Kain turned to her. Excellent! This would be ample oppertunity to test his abilitys. And if she could prove her worth and her words.

Kain had a faint smile upon his lips. "Very well. Let me see what you can do!"

Walking into a seperate space, he bagn to get into a combat position. He began to circle, his sword held in one hand, the other hand outstreched pointing to her.

Lana is relieved when Kain turns his attention to Katarina. She wasn't really in the mood to get involved in a sparring match just yet.

laughing, Katarina reaches into the pocket of her trenchcoat, and pulls out a sword, twin to the practice blade that Kain wields.

She begins circling him, on guard, waiting for him to strike.

Kain looked pleased. She was not scared, she was the complete opposite. Confidant. Over confidant perhaps? We shall see.

Continuing to circle, Kain looked over her looking for weak points a point to strike.

"You know. I knew someone." Kain began, and he thrust forward with his outstreached hand, the three talons knifes, cloven and deadly sharp.

Katarina takes a step back, just out of range of the claws. Laughing, she says "Nice try, but your gonna have to be faster than that." She reaches her hand into her pocket again, and comes out with a tigers claw* on her hand.

"It has fallen. Phalanix has fallen," Joshua manages to get out"You didn't know?" Zed asks, surprised. "I've known since about 20 minutes after the 1st Lancers deployed. News of deployments overide the regular uplink, which is access and retrieval, and inform us immediatly. I wouldn't worry about your nation. There's a Strike Fleet in orbit. They're probably gonna send down a few more Stars of Mechs and provide orbital support."

Zed shrugs and sits back down, nodding politely to Lana and pulls out another candy bar.

Katarina takes a step back, just out of range of the claws. Laughing, she says "Nice try, but your gonna have to be faster than that." She reaches her hand into her pocket again, and comes out with a tigers claw* on her hand.

Kain continued to circle, seeing the claw re-assessed his movements. He continued circle.

"This person I knew. He was extremely powerful." Kain uttered as he attacked.

He ran forward he thrust with his sword to her sword arm with an odd movement to it, it thrust spinning slightly, as to make blocking more difficult.Kain kept his hand by his side ready to block any movements.

Katarina catches his blow on her blade, knocking it away.

"I once knew a person as well", said she, and thrust, faster than any human kain has probably ever seen, directly towards his chest.



ooc: ill be backa t like 8:00, i got to go to work.

Kain was impressed by the humans desplay of skill, but vampires could keep up. Kain parryed the blow with his left hand, diverting the claw with his own. she had some skill to match her words.

Launching himself with his feet he span round in mid-air, spinning around still gripping onto her claw, he span so Kain was on her flank. He slashed her left arm with her claw on with his sword, she couldn't have blocked it, her right hand couldn't reach, as Kain was to her side.

"He was the most powerful person in our lands. Yet he was the weakest of all of them."

(OOC Does that make sense? Kain has his sword in his position, you blocked his sword, and Kain is gripping the claw. He spins around in the air, so he is on the other side of you arm, so you cannot attack with your sword, and you flank is vunerable to Kain. Your claw arm is twisted around, so you would be.)

Joshua walks into the AC room in a VERY bad mood.

Lana watched silently as Joshua walked into the class. It didn't take a genius to know that he was in no mood to talk. In fact, he would probably be happier killing someone.

Another haunted by life. No matter how strong we are we all suffer at the hands of Fate. Our destinies are not always as we would like them to be.

She sighed as her eyes followed him further into the room.

Joshua just heard even worse news. His home city of Nightfire was made a smoking crater by a nuke.

Qui stands in the doorway of the A.C. room next to Seth...watching...watching, more specifically, Katrina. Seth enters the classroom as class continued and Qui continued to watch. His rage was gone from the idiots that attempted to ruin this rp, and from Katrina's attacks on him. Seth headed toward Eclipse silently, not being able to explain what happened, or what was happening to her.

Joshua was even more ready to beat something up when Qui entered.

Qui smiled at Joshua evilly. :twisted: He had enough of beating the hell out of stuff. He just wished to protect his students...not harm any of them, with of course the exception of Joshua.

Seth: You are twisted sometimes Qui...

Qui: I am... *he smiles at this. When Rave had died, and Genesis vanished...the whole burden of the entire school had been placed on his shoulders.
A dark figure sat in the corner, watching Qui as he watched Katrina. It took no time for Qui to notice who it was. He turned in that direction and paused for several seconds before turning back to Katrina.

Lana noticed the change in Joshua the moment Qui and the other man walked through the door. She stood watching him, waiting for him to lose control of his anger. It wouldn't be the first time.

She turned her attention to Qui. He was interested in Katarina, and who could blame him. Her display in Manipulations was disturbing in it's intensity. Her eyes lingered for a moment, before turning their attention back to Adrian.

Roania, I reccomend you not to try this while Rave's not around, as

a) Rave/Qui/Daja would probably tear the chopper to shreds
b) There's probably safeguards to protect the Academy only Rave knows about
c) Bad form to attack someone's place when they aren't there.


Roania, seriously...indeed Qui and Daja, not to mention some of the other teachers would tear the chopper and kill everyone of your men for this display. There are safeguards to protect the academy, and Rave does no about them. It is bad rp if someones not their and you invade their grounds...one post would have been fine for me to reply to...but there was a LOT more than one...due to the "threat" that this posed to the school and the display of rp, Roanians will not be welcome back at this Academy, unless you can manage to find some way to clear it with me, which seems unlikely.

IC: Qui looks at Lana breifly. She was promising...as Katrina had been last year. He wondered though, if she would turn out the same way Katrina did...he hoped that he could still reach her, and what she pulled in manipulations would not be a regular occurance. HE had already threatened the council when they were to expell Katrina. He threatened them greatly, and they yeilded to him...for now, and Katrina's record was swept clean.

Joshuua slowly begens taking off his armor still in a state of rage he was looking around the room

Seth: *walks over to Joshua* Something bothering you, kid? *he said with a slight smile. He was neither abusive, badass, or condencending like Qui.*

"Thats a undersatement," Joshua grunts out.

Eclipse turned, smiling, when Seth entered the room. She was sitting on a chair at the front of the room just watching.

Adrian looked into Lana's eyes. "Look, I have to ask you a question. Do you really want to fight? Because if you don't, we can stop. I don't want to force you to do anything."

Lana smiled at Adrian, his kindness touching her. "It's just that I'm not really that good." She laughed. "Compared to these, anyway." She indicated the other students.

"Well, I don't know how good I am, really. I haven't had a fight that actually tested me in a very long time."

He reached down, unsheathing his knives strapped to his thighs, and placing leather blunts over their blades. The knives could still be wielded, but they wouldn't cut at all.

"You sure?"

Lana raised an eyebrow and nodded. She was about to make a fool of herself, she was sure. "Okay."

They get to use whatever type of weapon they have with them, as well as any of a whole rack of weapons in the AC Room. Basically, choose any close-combat weapon and you can use it.

Adrian took a look at his knives. They were fairly heavy, but perfectly balanced combat knives. When un-blunted, they were extremely sharp, but when blunted wouldn't hurt more than a slight bruise. Adrian wouldn't be hitting hard with them. Any bruises would be gone in a day or so, and barely even be noticed.

He spun the blades around his hands for a little bit, waiting for Lana to get her weapons(s) ready. "All right."

Lana walks over to the rack and grabs the first blade within her reach. She returns to Adrian, weighing it up in both hands.


[ooc: I really know nothing about types of sword/knife, just so you know]

Adrain nodded at her choice of blade. "Nice choice."

I'll have to get her something like that.

He stopped spinning the blades, and instead crouched down a bit, and asked her, "Would you like to start?"

Lana took a deep breath and look Adrian in the eyes. "No, please, after you."

Adrian shrugged. "If you insist."

He leapt forward, landind several feet in front of her in a crouch with one leg out to his side, bounced to his fet, while feinting left with one knife. A moment later, he swept down to his feet, striking out at her stomach with the other knife and sweeping his leg out to try and trip her.

Seth nods to Joshua. He knew the tension between him and Qui, and who obviously had an upper hand over the situation. He sits by Eclipse.
Seth: So tell me, what has happened in my absense? *he smiles softly*

Qui smirks at Joshua and continues to watch.

"Not much," Eclipse replied. "I made pairs of people fighting, that's about it."

"Well all hell broke lose in Phalanix. 5 million are dead and my home city is a smoking radioactive crater," Joshua says

Qui: The leader of Roania has ordered the Roanian Army to attack the rebels and free Phalanix, just to let you know Joshua...*he headed toward him.*

"Just great. Also there is a bio weapon in the second largest city resulting in about 1 million deaths. And both the Rebels and Phalanix have no bio weapons," Joshua says still pissed off

[ooc: Haraki, I don't know the first thing about fighting either. Do you mind assuming they are fighting, and he gets the better of her? If not, I will attempt, but it won't be good.]

Qui: Why don't you take you're rage out on me...*he says with a twisted smile* Hand to hand, for a friendly spar...

Joshua just smirks and emoves his arrmor even quickler and enters a fighting stance

OOC: Hmm ... Well, fighting's not too hard. It's just like non-fight RPing, where you describe to attempt an action/attack on another character, and they say what happens due to that. Example:

1: I jump up in the air, kicking out at your head with my left foot and sweeping my right foot down at your ribs at the same time.

2: I manage to catch your kick to my head, but the kick to my ribs sends me reeling. I try and spin the foot I'm holding while you're still in the air, so that you go spinning and end up lying on the ground.

1: I spin several time, before hitting the gorund hard. I can taste blood in my mouth. I kick out at your shins while I try and gety up, but slowly.

2: I manage to jump over the kick, taking several steps back and letting you get up.

1: I get up, a little blood trickling down my chin. "You just made me mad," I grumble as I approach. I try and hit you with a low punch to the ribs, but hard, while I growl. I'm mad.

2: I spin aside from the kick, spinning around you to your left and kicking out at the back of your head as I finish my spin behind you.

1: As you spin around, I try and punch you with my other arm, but my reaction time's off. The kick hits me in the back of the head, sending my staggering forward.

...

And so on like that. It's really not that hard, and if you don't think you'd be good at it, remember: Adrian's there to help teach you.

Qui simply laughs a taunting chuckle and stands in his regular position, he was always ready. Now Joshua knew that Qui was dangerous without enhanced armor...and still had an advantage over him when Joshua had his armor on. What Joshua might have guessed, was Qui's lineage... Son of Rave and Daja, the two ancients, one the leader of the order of vampires. But Qui's lineage was never told nor spoken of, and few knew it...but most assumed it. He took off his brass knuckes and threw them to the ground, the metal hitting the floor was a pleasing sound to him. He threw his gloves to the ground and put one arm up, palm to the ceiling. He beckoned Joshua forward.

Wrenching her hand out of his grasp, she stabs her claws towards his stomach, and the hilt of her sword towards her head. The strikes move at speeds so fast that the average human would only see a blur.

Lana could feel bruises coming up on several parts of her body. She smiled at Adrian. "You're just being kind. I had a few lucky moments." She indicated his stomach. "I'm sorry. Do you want me to get something to put on that?" She placed her blade down on the chair.

Joshua quickly hit the ground and went for a leg sweep but suddenly sent his foot upward in mid sweep

Adrian chuckled. "Hey, it's your job to injure me in horrific ways like that if we're sparring. Sure, yes please. I could use a bandage, but it'll go away in a day or so. I'm fine, really. You're good with that blade."

Joshua's leg clipped the side of him as Qui moved out of the way. He grabbed his foot as it was on it's way back to the ground and pulled it toward him as he jolted back. With a flick of the wrist he twisted it it again and drove it toward him before letting go.
Qui: Good...faster. *saying it as if....as if...*

Joshuua reacted as quickly as he could and pushed off the ground and jumped and spun in mid air aiming a kick at Qui's head.

Lana laughed. "You would say that any way. You've not said a bad word about me since we met." She walked over to a medical box on the wall and took out a bandage and some anticeptic. She walked back over to Adrian. "Not that I don't appreciate it." She smiled, as she squeezed some of the cream onto his cut.

"Well it's true," he said with a grin, ignoring the mild stinging on his wound. "Would I lie about you? Or to you for that matter?" He chuckled.

Lana raised an amused eyebrow. "Well, being that I haven't known you that long, I shall take your word this time." She began to apply the bandage. "But I shall keep a close eye on you in the future, just to make sure you're not just being kind."

"Me? Kind?" Adrian joked with a laugh. "Never! I just tell it like it is."

He tried very hard - and failed - to keep a straight face throughout saying that.

Qui just managed to duck as it his the side of his head before letting out a laugh. he flipped backward to avoid falling.
Qui: Good...very good indeed Joshua... *as if...as if Qui was acting as his sire. He backhanded Joshua once more. Qui somewhat smiled at him, rather than backhanding him again.*

"Leave the poor boy alone..." A voice said from the corner, where Qui had focused on when he stood in the doorway. Qui's eyes literally shot out of his face with shock as he saw who it was. A tall dark figure stepped out of the shadows, and looked something like Qui...only more powerful...an ancient. "If you wish to have a sire fight a fledgling...why not take on me?"

Qui: I wasn't sired in the normal fashion...

"Right...Right...you were born...how could I forget?"

Qui: I could expect you to...since you weren't there...

"Wasn't there? I was protecting Ravelyn's life..."

Qui: Overseas? Yea right...listen, I'm not a fledgling anymore...I'm not a neonate either...I am an elder...

"And I am an anceint..."

Qui: how could I forget? Daja...

Daja: Qui...

Qui: Joshua...get everyone back...even out of this room if needed...My father and I have some unfinished business....*turns to Daja* If Rave was here...

Daja: Are you sure? Don't forget...I'm her sire too...*with that the two took fighting stances, the room went silent. Seth grabbed Eclipses arm quickly and got up*

"Aw and I thought we were having fun," Joshua says as he backs away to his armor

Eclipse nodded and glared at the students.

At this point, a tall man (Anyone who looks at him will see him as 2-3 inches taller than them) wearing a red fedora and overcoat, with longish black hair and a grin on his face, revealing his vampiric fangs, stepped through the wall and sat down.

"This oughtta be fun to watch," Corothisia said, grinning.

Lana finished tying the bandage, and looked him in the eye. Suddenly Qui and another were preparing for a fight. She turned to Adrian. "Should we leave?"

Joshua leans against the wall and makes his helmet float over to him and land on his head. He quickly activates the satcom uplink to get any more news on the rebelion

Adrian smiled grimly. "I think that would be a good idea ..." he said slowly.

With that he grabbed Lana's hand and started running for the door. Luckily they were near it.

Joshua knew this was his quee to get the hell outa there so he grabed his arrmor and started walking out but on the way he says to Qui "We will finish this later."

Seth turns to Coro in awe...as the elder did of any ancient...and Rave's friend...
Seth: Have you heard what happened...to..Ravelyn...*he said with slight hesitation in holding back emotion*

Daja: Coro...long time no bite...nice of you to join us.. *he smiles warmly and turns to Qui as his smile faded..

Qui: I've never lost...

Daja: And neither have I... *The two stirred slightly...then it began*

Once they were safely out of the door, Lana turned to Adrian. "What the hell is going on now?"

Coro nodded to Seth. "Yeah, I have."

He looked at the barren wall beside him and snapped his fingers. A comfortable-looking bench appeared, conjured into existence, and Coro lounged on it. The bench was indestructible. Literally.

Adrian sadly let go of Lana's hand. "Well, we go somewhere that's not that room. I don't think anyone wants to get in between Daja and Qui if they start like that."

Zed finished his candy bar and walked out carrying his bag of weapons with him.

Uplinking to the strike fleet, he is shocked to find there are five fleets in the system and he has direct access the mian datacore in the capital. "What the hell?!" he mutters to himself until he sees where the core is located. Western Europe. Polland, to be exact.

"Holy crap! The entire population is back in Europe!"

The two ran toward each other, practically off the ground. Daja was the first to strike at Qui, trying to punch him in the face. Qui leaned to the side and picked up the pair of brass knuckles, and bringing his leg up straight to conenect wtih Daja's shoulder. Daja didn't falter but upper ctu Qui in the stomach as Qui strapped on the brass knuckles.

Daja: Faster. *he said and the two started again..all hell was about to break loose.*

Elaïne closed her eyes. She was sat on the corner of the fountain, as usual.

Corothisia, she thought, feeling his presence.

Coro opened his eyes.

Joshua continued to the Cafe and found Phoenix asleep again and laughed. He qickly decidedd to leave him there with his arrmor in a bag. He then starteed off looking for Kenja

Qui lunged at Daja, but a blade was sent across Qui's arm, letting the blood fall to the floor. Qui winced in pain as the deep but in his arm spilt his crimson blood. Oh would Joshua pay to see this... Daja quickly punched Qui in the stomach.
Qui fell backwards, and sprung up, the wound on his arm closing quickly. He punch Daja in the chest and face, but then realized, it was like punching concrete. he flipped over Daja, and snapped his arma behind his back.
Daja whirled around, and in doing so, threw Qui to the ground.
Daja: Good...faster.

Daja unsheathed a blade from the wall, and Qui took one from the opposite. A dark aura was gathering around the two as they fought. Countless amount of cuts were received. Qui finally hit Daja with the hilt of his sword and stabbed him though the arm, then quickly pulled it out. Daja watched the wound heal with great satisfaction. He took off on Qui, literally beating the sh^t out of him. He ran the blade through his chest, just missing his heart. Qui fell to his knees writhing on the ground.

Daja: Not fast enough... *he walked away without saying another word to Qui, bursting through the doors and out the main hall. Meanwhile Qui was in excrutiating pain, and couldn't speak*

Kenja walked past Joshua, and grabbed him by the arm.
Kenja: WHo the hell is my sire fighting right now?!? *she said in panic, they were near the A.C. room, and heard bustlelings going about inside. She rushes with Joshua to the A.C. room and opens the doors*

Qui is writhing in pain on the floor with a sword through his chest. KEnja let out a gasp of horror.

"Son of a bitch," Joshua says as he reachs for the sword "This is gona hurt like hell just hold on." He ripps the sword out of Qui and picks him up. "He needs medical atention. But I would have loved to hurt him."

Seth: If rave was here...I could just hear her saying "male vampires" in her exasperated tone. *wasn't that the truth? *

Coro chuckled. "In good tradition..."

He rolled his eyes. "Male vampires..."

Qui lets out a cry of pain, which was extremely unusual for him as he rolls on the floor and places his hands on the ground, trying to push himself up but failing. The wound was healing, but one of that depth would take more than sixty seconds to heal.

ooc: Dammit kain, get on.

OOC: I'm getting too lost in the story line. I'm pulling Zed out, but with a twist. And no one please interfere, nobody will be hurt. At most, your characters will get a scratch or bruise.

Also, I should mention one of my puppets, -Needles- has a bunch of seedy organizations in it. :wink:

IC: Zed walked out of his dorm wearing slacks and a nice t-shirt and carried no weapons or ID on him. Walking towards the main building, he smiled. He was perfect for this job. His geneticly engineered brain had most of it locked away and his outburst early on had kept the mind readers out of his head.

Walking into the cafe, he sat down and orders a cup while he waits.

Seth chuckled slightly.Qui managed to laugh at the "male vampire" comment, and it brought slight tears to his eyes...but not from pain, but from memories.

"Y'know, Qui..." Coro said. "I bet you've heard that comment a lot ..."

Qui laughed slightly. "I used to hear it all the time..." he trailed off and got up and looked at the blood on his shirt. He derailed the topic quickly. "Damn...that was my favorite shirt.." He chuckles to himself, but still has trouble walking.

Coro blinked lazily, still lying down on the couch. He absentmidedly spread his fingers. All the blood in the shirt dried, flaked, and fell off the shirt, landing dried on the ground, leaving the shirt blood-free.

"Correction," Coro said lazily. "IS your favourite shirt."

Qui smiled. "Thanks..." *he smiled and removed his shirt for no apparent reason other than to make Kenja's jaw drop to the floor.

Kenja: :shock:

Qui: *smirks at Joshua* And you wondered how I got fledglings..*he added with a laugh and sat down in a chair*

"So Have fun with the sword," Joshua says with a smirk "We can finishs latter." Joshua begens walking out of the AC room "Oh ya your just a jackass some days."

Qui was on the edge of the chair to go after him. "Eh, I can backhand him tommorow." he said chuckling. he motioned to the sword and it came to his hand. She whirled it around and shot it at the door, hitting just where Joshua's head would have been. Meanwhile Kenja's jaw was still dropped to the floor as she felt around for the door knob as she looked at him. She finally got it and closed the door behind her. So that was his method of getting fledglings...that had always been Mar's approach.

Joshua was leaning against the outside of the AC room when Kenja came out. "So have fun stairing at Qui," He says laughing.

Kenja: I wasn't...I mean...heh... :oops:

Guilty..

Joshua still laughing starts walking towards his dorm room. "You coming?" Joshua asks Kenja

Kenja: I have nowhere else to go. *she smiles, and follows Joshua*

Eclipse turned to Seth, her golden eyes glinting in the light. "That was interesting ..."

I could use a bt of time alone with you ...

"Hope Phoenix hasn't found out what I did to him...sh*t here he comes," Joshua says as he dives into a closet and drags Kenja with him and shuts to door quickly.
Phoenix walks by with shaving cream all over his face and is very pissed off.

Seth looked at Eclipse. Yes, sure. *he led her to the door, not sure where they could go.*

Kenja giggles slightly. If only Phoenix had seen Qui getting his ass kicked. She looks at Joshua.
Kenja: Hey, isn't this that same closet?

She stepped outside, closing the door behind her.

Maybe your room?

"I think this is," Joshua says smirking.

After drinking his coffee, a small ship lands and Zed walks out.

Getting on the transport, he grins as his bio-mechanical mind counted down.

Immediatly, the ship takes off and buzzes the academy, it's sublight engines roarin as it climbs through the atmosphere. Within moments it would reach criusing velocity and at the edge of the atmosphere.

Zed keeps counting down as he looked at the "Priest" in front of him.

4...3...2...1... boom

At the academy, a large Trilithium laced warhead goes off in one of the main building's wings, bringing most of it down. Zed had chosen that wing for a reason. He may be a terrorist, but he had some decency.

OOC: There is a note in Zed's room. It reads:

Hello Qui, I'm sure you figured out it was me, but don't hold Crimmond responsible. I'm not a marine anymore. I'm a member of the Sword of Faith terror group. Ah, the weaklings in Crimmond thought we were gone, but they were wrong. I chose a portion of the academy that was always mostly empty, I am sorry, but I just cannot abide your race.

Find some reason to go to his room, but remember... he ook only the clothes on his back with him. His weapons, armor and everything else is in the dorm.

Elaïne pondered the presence of two ancients so close to her. She didn't like vampires. They were surely the most perverted creatures she ever met. She knew Zacharian thought the same. Wouldn't Rave have had angelic blood to balance her dark side, her brother would never have fallen in love with her.
Elaïne looked at her reflection in the water.

Maybe Father was one of them, she thought as she was trying to find excuses for this dark creatures.

She heard the explosion.

The blast was heard by everyone...Daja was closest at the time, being just outside the wing. He brushes the dust from his hair. He saw whom it was...and walks to his room. Daja looks at the note and crinkles it up. The weapons in the room vanish and it is left spotless. He sighs and goes to the damaged wing...

Ancient words pass from his lips...weren't they the same that Rave had used to seal the halls and restore the building when Katrina had damaged it? Would the grounds obey not only Rave and Qui, but Daja as well? apparently so.
Damnit Rave this is only temporary...i need you...

Qui shot up: What the hell was that?!?!

You're buddy Zed literally blew up an entire wing...

Qui: I'm gonna kill him..

Kenja looks at Joshua and laughs..indeed it was the same closet.

Seth: :shock: Yea..sure..*he opened the door to his room. Everything was entirely immaculate, give or take the cup of coffee that was sitting on the side table*

Joshua rubbs his head because he hit his head on the wall.
"Wow what are the odds?" Joshua asks befor kissing Kenja on the lips

Coro yawned, hearing the blast, which totally unaffected his bench. He then closed his eyes and slept.

Eclipse stepped in, closing the door behind them and unconsciously sealing it with a massive magical power.

She stepped forward, placing a finger over Seth's mouth. "Don't talk," she said, and kissed him.

If he's bored, he either eats or sleeps. Massive explosions are nothing new to him.

Elaïne could feel a new universe was born. She felt Coro was dreaming.

I wonder how many people realize how real their dreams are when they hold such power.

She closed her eyes and decided to visit this new world.

Seth: So.... *he said, expecting to be of some council*

Eclipse: Don't talk...*she placed a finger over Seth's mouth, then kissed him. Seth held Eclipse close to him and kissed her. The cold touch of his body sent chills down her spine.

Daja: What the hell? KAT?!?!

*Kat pulled herself from the floor. Daja helped her up*

Kat: The building...collapsed on me...

Daja: Are you alright?

Kat: Sort of...the ceiling has scortch marks now...*she manages a smile*

Kenja: The odds are greater than average. *smiles*

Eclipse held Seth tight, feeling happy, and kissing him. Her wings burst out of her shirt, shredding it and making it fall to the floor, wrapping around her and Seth in her happiness.

Not another ruined shirt... Eclipse thought with a mental laugh.

"Well lets make the best of the odds," Joshua says with a smirk

Seth smiled. "Are there anymore suprises you have for me?" he said with a slight laugh before kissing Eclipse again.
You can wear my shirt... *he said taking it off, revealing his toned body from too much A.C. He laughed slightly*

Rather not ... Not right now ... Eclipse thought, taking his shirt and dropping it on the ground.

At that, Kenja fell out of the closet to the floor taking Joshua with her.
Seni passed by and laughed.

Seni: Listen, If you wanted to come out of the closet, couldn't you have chosen a better time...*he laughs and continues down the hall*

Joshua just laughs and getts up and offers his hand to Kenja to help her up.

Seth smiled. What's gotten into you.. he thought with a laugh. For a moment, a wave of warmth swept over his body, which ironically sent shivers down his spine.

Kenja takes Joshua's hand...
Kenja: *laughs* Is there something you want to tell me Joshua? Involving closets? *this just made her laugh harder*

Eclipse smiled. I'm not sure...

She pushed forward against him, sending the two of them crashing to the ground, still in each others arms.

Joshua just rolls his eyes and pulls Kenja closer and thn starts to kiss her.

Elaïne walked passed the frontier between the real world and Coro's dream.

I wonder what his mind could be creating.
