((Well lets get this thread started))
Joshua now bored outa his mind ans hearing the little fight walks to the restaurant and wasn't to happy at what he saw

Elaïne walked out of the woods. She was worried.

I really hope they'll do it.

She closed her eyes and mentally articulated an ancient formula. Soon she could feel the energy surrounding her.

This angelic energy is soothing, she thought. Too bad there is a dark side to it. It's like an open door to attacks.

She looked around and spotted the restaurant. The man called Joshua was heading to it.

This academy is like a kindergarten, she thought as she sensed conflict all over the place.

Kelly now walking in the feild spoted Elaïne and started to walk over to her. As she walked she had a strange feeling about Elaïne.

Lana sat eating her food, and allowed her mind to wander over the events of the day. She had been impressed with the look of the Academy, especially all the facilities.

She let her mind focus on the other students that had arrived. She had never seen such a group of 'different' individuals. To be honest, she hadn't even seen most of their kind in the flesh before. This is definitely going to be a learning experience.

Elaïne smiled at Kelly. Every one of her movements were filled with beauty. This elven woman was incredibly charismatic... magnetic. She stepped forward, as to welcome Kelly's arrival.

(I will answer the question Rave gave back there about the words Kain said)

The words where implanted in his head when he was turned...Kain couldn't get them out of his head, they echoed in his mind, filling his mind with the words drumming into him. They where driving him mad, he had never heard them before, yet they seemed familer.

"I don't know Rave. All I do know, is that I know them since I was turned."

That should get rid of those words, Kain was not one who liked contemplating love and life. He had different agenders now.

Kain turned to Raveyln once more, his face gave a slight smile, he had his answers.

"Thank you. You have eased my trouble somewhat, Wise One. You are most worthy to rule this fine nation..."

With that Kain got up, and walked away, slowly turning into fog, and then nothing. A skill Kain had learned now, it was highly useful. With it, he could enter doors which where locked, spy upon others and cross paths which he could not have done so in his physical body. What other abilitys are there for me to discover? This was pure chance that I discovered this in the swamps when I was traveling.

Heading to the swimming pool, more of an experiment than training ,Kain traveled swiftly in mist form.

Joshua now in full blown "I'm gona rip your head off because I don't like you" mode sat down at a table and tried to calm himself down.

A small patch of mist fell over the otuer edge of the swimming pool. With a swift thought a figure crystiles out of the mist in a few seconds. Kain formed, and breathed out in anxious way, this was a test he didn't really want to take. He was different to other vampires, perhaps water would effect him.....Kain needed to find out.

Kain slowly dipped his foot into it. Expecting the water to feel like acid, its touch was only a laping of the cool water. Kain was slightly releived, but his foot was cloven, it was not his flesh. He dipped his foot in more, allowing some of the water to go up to his flesh.

Nothing. Nothing unusual. No agonysing pain, no burning or melting. Just feeling the water. Kain was greatly relieved that he did not have that weakness. He did not question Ravelyns words about his weakness' but, Kain had to find out else he might fear it at an inappropriate time.

Taking a moment to take of his cloak with his insigna on it, he laid the red cloth upon a chair. Stepping back, Kain ran towards to pool and dived in.

Feeling the water rush against his body felt good. All his worries washed away, he could hear the bubbles rush past. He could swim faster and hold his breath for a longer time. Kain began doing strokes, Kain was rather pleased and enjoyed the experiance. Under the water, he could hear quite clearly, although there was still a distortion, but he could see well, his eyes did not feel stung, he could see as he did on the surface. It only took a few seconds to ajust to the enviorment. Kain began doing strokes, Kain was rather pleased and enjoying it.

(OOC: bbl, bump this thread to keep it up if needed and try to get Crimmond to post in there... instead of the old thread ;) )

OOC Shaddup Underloz. I didn't see this one. I just went to "Posts you have replied to." :lol:

IC: Zed continued to walk around the grounds and looked up as a Dropship went overhead. Another one?

He shrugs and turns a corner and enters a resturant. Seeing the look on Joshua's face he looks at him, "Man, you are gonna burst a blood vessel if you don't watch it. What's got you so riled up?"

Laran stepped down from the dropships ramp and straightened her uniform. The air seemed very cold to her. Quickly she walks away from the ship as it leaves.

Zed looks at Joshua through his helmet visor and arches an eyebrow. This guy is gonna give himself an ulcer..., "Ok. Haven't heard that reponse in a few years..."

Zed walks to a booth and sits down. Ordering his food he removes his helmet and reads the list of desserts.

Laran walked through the grounds and came to a field where she could see two people. Seeing neither was who she was looking for, Laran moved away and headed towards the main building

Lana looked up from her plate at the words 'mortal enemy', and let her eyes rest on the two people in front of her. First day here and you may be about to watch someone get their arse kicked. She made herself confortable, ready for the entertainment.

Joshua by this time had put on his helmet ad had to resist the urge to kill and feed.

Zed got his rare steak(;) at Phalanix lol) and proceded to eat it and the three baked potatos on the side

Joshua looked over the menu and got himself the biggest streak he could find and gets a beer as his drink and takes off his helmet and starts to eat like a mad man.

Lana sat back and watched the macho eating competition. I wonder if it will be spoons at noon, she laughed as the image popped into her thoughts.

Joshua glaired at Lana for a split second with icy cold eyes and then went back to eating

Lana caught the icy stare. She picked up her fork and took another mouthful of food, not taking her eyes off the entertainment.

Joshua smirked slightly and laughed. They didn't know his secret.

Lana felt more uncomfortable when the man started laughing than when he glared at her. She picked up the menu and pretended to look at it.

Zed just kept eating. It had been almost 18 hours since his last meal.

Laran walked into the resturant and looked around. There. She smiled as she saw Zed facing away from the door eating. She walked up behind him and slapped him in the back of his bald head.

Laran: Pretty stupid to face away from the door Zed.

Zed: Laran?! So, you were the one on that dropship.

Laran: *takes a seat* Yep. So, no hello? No nice to see you? Not even a salute to a superior officer?

Zed: Buzz off. I'm an Assault Marine. You are a paper pusher who sucked your way up on the homeworlds...

Laran: That's bordering on insibordination, Seargent.

Zed: I'm always bordering on insibordination, Captain. You know that. Now why are you here?

Laran: I've been reassigned to Earth and transfered to Colonel Barrs command. I'm now one of your higher ups.

Zed stares blankly as he drops his fork. Laran just laughs.

Joshua knew Lana was still watching him. But he was busy eating.

Lana put down the menu and pushed her plate to one side. She gathered up her things and left the restaurant. She walked over to a tree and sat down beneath the shade.

Joshua finishes eating and wipes his mouth and putts his helmet on and walks out of the restaurant and back to the feilds.

Lana watched as Joshua left the restaurant. Shame, that could have got interesting in there.

As Joshua walks out to the feilds he draws a small mettal rod and suddenly a neon-blue light takes the sahpe of a 2 pronged sword.

Lana continued to watch Joshua with interest. She sat more upright to give herself a better view.

Laran looks across at Zed and smiles as he considers her words.

Zed: Oh, hell.

Laran: You're right. It will be Hell for you.

Zed: It's an expression. *raises an arm to show the implants and tattoo* And I've already been through Hell.

Zed gets up and tell sthe waiter she'll pay and walks out. Laran goes to follow, but is pushed back by the waiter. "Excuse me madam, but you have to pay."

She looks at Zed as he leaves and attempts to bore a hole in him with her eyes.

Zed walks outside and smiles. "That felt good." He walks down the path and reattaches his helmet.

Suddenly a second sword appers out of no where and lunges at Joshua. Joshua quickly counters and sends the figure off blance

Zed stops walking and watches the fight, moving closer and activating his motion sensors.

"Yet again you fail to hit me," Josua says with a smirk as he grabs a unseen hand and pulls something up

Zed quietly assembles his Ion Cannon and slaps a charge pack into it. He then aims above the two and fires it off. The shot streaks into the sky, illuminating the area briefly. Zed stands and holds the cannon like a bazooka, "You boys want to explain yourselves, or shall I shut those fancy suits of yours off?"

Suddnly Joshua disapers and both Plasma swords disapper as well. Suddenly Joshua reappers but not in his arrmor and smirks as his eys go blood red

Lana sat back against the tree and waited for the outcome. They'd already had the fireworks. If it continues like this, I should never experience a dull day again.

"I gess I get to test drive my new power," Joshua says with a smirk as fangs slowly grow above his lower lip.

Lana got up from her seated position beneath the tree and sighed. As soon as the fangs came out, she stopped believing this was a game and not a grudge match. She didn't want to be witness to this violence. She walked slowly away, wondering what she could do to wile away the hours until bed.

Zed drops the Ion Cannon and pulls up his Heavy Pulse Blaster. "I'd put those away. You're likely to hurt someone."

"Can't they like to sit there," Joshua says "Besides I've had my food/"

OOC:He can't put them away *beats genetics* and he has feed already

(ooc: If you kill any of my students, you're writing your own death sentence when Rave finds out. You can beat the hell out of them....just wait to kill them when this is over.. :lol: )

IC:

The two elders go at it. Qui was amazingly agile and strong. He flipped backwards to avoid a punch and returned it with an upper cut to the face, and a kick to the stomach. This caused Cyro to hunch over, and for Qui's knee to connect with his face. he stumbled backwards and fell. Qui grabbed him by the throat and picked him up into the air. There was a quick movement by Cyro. Qui's eyes went wide in shock. He released his grip and fell to his knees.

Cyro: *pulls his twisted black sword from Qui* This cannot be determined by hand to hand combat..

Qui: *chuckles as he manages to get up as blood seeps through his shirt* You're just saying that because you were loosing...

Cyro: Same ego as well. It can be determined with the skill with a sword. *he lunged at Qui who quickly unscathed his sword and blocked the attack. His sword was lavishly embelished with rubies and platinum. The black carved hilt faded to a silvery blade with ancient engravings on it.*

They stood face to face and began again. The two were so fast, that ist was hard to see the sword's movements at all. They sliced at each other violently. Qui suddenly feel from getting a hilt to his face and lay on the ground with the point of Cyro's sword to his neck.

Cyro: I expected more...you couldn't even touch me..*laughs*

Qui: *chuckles* Look at your arm..*he said as a long slash ran down his shoulder. The cut was very deep.

Cyro: :shock:

Qui: *Qui twists the sword with his hands by the blade, twisting it out of his hands. He held up his hand and looked intently at Cyro* Sleep! *he commanded roughly, and watched the body fall to the ground. He picked him up and carried him over his shoulder toward the academy. He looked at Calico. He hadn't been concerned with his presense at all until now.

Qui: Don't tell anyone of this...*he said as he was walking. He stretched his arms over his head, and quickly grabbed Cyro before he fell. He adjusted his trench coat and stopped slightly, waiting for something.
After a while, his nightmare steed came to great him. He looked at the horse, and jumped on his back with the body. He rode bare back back towards the academy, then turned around and yelled back* Are you coming? Or are you going to wait until more show up? *He waited for the student...it was his responsability... Behind that jagged bad ass exterior, was another jagged bad ass interior.

OOC: Ok

IC: Zed is tired of usind long rang weapons and activates the comabat mode of the suit. A thin fabric made of titanium and a few other alloys stretches across his exposed arms. "Always be prepared when there are vampires around." He lept up into the air and his 600 lbs bulk landed a few feet away from Joshua, cracking the dry ground.

"Now will you tell me what this is all about? Or do I have to ask again?"

"Wow you are as thick skulled as you look," Joshua says as he suddenly dissappers then reapper behind Zed

((I love the combo of Vampire speed and Elite speed))

"I guess I do have to ask again." Zed smiled in his helemt and didn't move. He just activated the quick acting crowd control feature. He knew vapires didn't need to breath, but they did when they spoke. The disabling nerve gas finnished releasing and Zed turned. "So, what is the problem here. You and this guy," He jabs a finger at the other figure, "seem to be angry. So what's the deal?"

OOC: It's harmless, just puts anything that breathes it to sleep for a while. It on;y kills in liquid form.

ooc:Underaloz, I must say that you are a life savor. Whether covering my threads, rps, or characters, you always do a brilliant job with the greatest of ease. And you spelt Ravelyn right, so I must thank you greatly, for everything you've done. Thank you! :P *hugs* There needs to be a party after this...you know where. :shock: :D

"Actualy dumbass I'm not a man," the fighure says as she takes off her helme letting her purple hair flow out of her helmet.

"Who the hell cares?" Zed says, turning his back to Joshua to face her.

Kenja woke up and looked around. Joshua must have gone out somewhere. She sat up and walked around the room, and sighed softly as she opened the door. She was off to find Joshua.

"Actualy because you interupted her graduation ya dumb ass," Joshua says as bends down and barts of his body disapper as he looks like he is attaching something

Seth: Eclipse...*he sat next to her* Is there something you haven't told me? Those wings...look awefully like Rave's...but you can't be an angel...Angel's wings emerge at birth...they're different...tell me, is there something you've been keeping from me?

"Damn SPARTAN rituals.... If you had just said so, I wouldn't have interuptted after that first Ion Blast." He turns abnd grabs Joshua by the throat. "And I wouldn't advise calling me dumbass, Bat Boy." He lets go and walks off, shaking his head.

"And that was suposed to hurt?" Joshua asks mockingly "And she isn't a SPARTAN she is a Elite." Joshua says as he finishes his arrmor and reapers dressed in full arrmor and headed back to his dorm with Kelly so he could talk to her witho ut any unneeded interuptions

Kat: Hmm...I don't like this Zed Character...*she raises an eyebrow..* Maybe he should talk to Qui...set him straight. *she laughs to herself and sits back in a chair by the pool, silently observing everything that was going on.*...Qui would either set him straight, or strangle Joshua with him..*laughs*

Zed stops and turns. "Goor was right, you do have a sense of humor. Too bad it's so bad."

He walks way from the field and turns off the combat mode. His arms and neck exposed again, he walks into the pool area and stops. "Well, I don't think Qui would need any help doing that... Augmented hearing. It's a perk of suit tech and genetics."

Joshuua and Kelly reach Joshua's dorm and Joshuua huggs Kelly knowing that he wouldn't be working with her again. "Good bye Kelly," Joshua says as she walks down and starts looking for Phoenix

Kat: Hmm..*she simply said, totally uninterested....she glanced up at Zed. She was one of the only teachers who didn't come with a set of fangs.* No indeed, Qui would have no trouble....*laughs*

Zed sighs. "Well this is turning out great. My first day here I almost blow a hole through another person, tell off Rave, find out the new addition to my company is one of the people I share a mutual hatrad with and I make one of the other students think I'm an ass."

He stands there for a second, "Well, I guess I am an ass sometimes, but..."

(ooc: Wait...you told off Rave...Oh! that's when Underaloz was NPCing my characters while I was away...could you recap? I didn't know bout that bit...oooo Rave's gonna have a word with you after about that lol. :lol: )

IC: Kat: You told off Rave?! :shock: Wow... *she sits up and smiles. Her hair was a dark brown, her eyes a light violet* Maybe you should lighten up a bit...or backhand Joshua...that seems to be an effective method...or drop him out a window...*she laughs and couldn't help but smile* He's a good kid, and a good student. He got many awards of recognition for his wonderful performance in the school last year...he really is a great student. Don't let attidude fool you of his skill...

Joshua opend his dorm's door and saw hat Kenja had left already. Hey I'm back in my room so no need to look for me Joshua sent to her as he entered and removed his arrmor and began to putt on his jeans and a black shirt

Kenja: I was starting to get worried ... *smiled as she made her way back to his room.*

Joshua was fast a sleep on his bed within seconds of lieing down.

Kenja walks in and sees Joshua sleeping, she turns around and closes the door quietly.

OOC: I'm not sure, but I think I basicly told Rave to "keep her damn powers to herself". :lol:

IC: "Yeah. Pretty stupid to tell one of the most powerful vampires off, eh? Well, it just seems my life latley has gone to hell and I'm not even sure of my identity. I'm not even sure I'm human."

Joshua heard Kenja close the door and shot up on a dime (I swear he has powers :lol:) and looked at the door

Kat:Yes, it was. But she is nice and forgiving. She would still risk her life for one of her own students...even if the student told her off. *laughs* What happened to change your beleif about you're identity?

"Many things. I was grown in a lab and had cybernetic implants put in me when I was still in the "Iron Womb" growth tanks. I was rigorously trained, but my implants grew too fast and they had to boost my body mass to compensate. Still, while my squadmates are only 10-20% synthetic, I'm 40% synthetic. 1/4 of my brain isn't even organic. Many years ago, I was asked if I was a good man and I couldn't answer then, and I still can't answer now. I don't know if I'm a man. Or if I ever was."

Zed looked away. "Then a few months ago, I was helping clean up a spill of chemicals. Well the chemiacls caught fire when a barrel of unstable chemicals exploded. I just walked out off the flames with second degree burns. They say I should have been killed by the fumes and the explosion... but I wasn't. Three others died though. One wearing tougher armor than I was. That's what really did it. No human could have survived that, but I did."

(OOC: wheee! Asked for a new password and managed to log in, directly into the forums... I love it how stable nationstates is :evil: )

The mix of Vaughn and Zacharian made the black and white landscape in the Dark Path passing before Rave and him at incredible speed. In a matter of seconds, he had stepped out of the shadows a big rock was casting on the sand. They were in the Great Gobi desert, 2 miles away from their final destination: the Porté knife cavern.

He looked at Rave.

"Now I guess it's up to you."

OOC: I'm off for a while. I'll be back in an hour or so. *like the fact that when I access the forums directly, I'm already logged in* None of that damn NS is full BS. lol

Kat: Then let me tell you about someone I know who has no idea what the hell she is. She was created in a lab by scientists, in order to be perfect. Everything about her was perfect. EVERYTHING. They didn't expect her to have a soul of her own. This soul that was sent into that body happened to be one of an angel. The scientists never expected her to grow wings the second she awoke. But when she awoke, that's exactly what she did. She gathered her energy until she was able to break free and destroy the facility. She was in such a rage, nothing remains of that place. The scientists never expected her to BE someone...just thought of her as a tool. Then one day came that she washed up on shore in the Ambrosial Coasts. The land was barren, nothing was there. She made everything you see before you. Every blade of grass, even ground you're standin on right now. She walked along the beach every day. Someone finally came to meet her. He walked with her for a while, until the angel was embraced by the man. This man wasn't a man, but a vampire. The vampire was an elder at the time, by the name of Daja. So thus she became an angelic vampire. This gave her her dark side. Her wings turned to black. Time passed, and Daja disappeared. She was alone. She then took up the arts of sourcery..climbing the ranks until she hit the top, being titled, high sourceress. That person is now the ruler of this nation, and happens to be the woman you told off...she is also the one you should talk to about identities...she's had her share of them.

He looked at Rave.

"Now I guess it's up to you."

She wrapped one leg around him, and winked..it was so tempting, she couldn't resist...and this did give her a good hold on him.. She spread her wings and took off. Flying at her fastest pace that she could while carrying Vaughn. One mile passed in thirty seconds...they approached their destination swiftly...all the while, RAve looked at Vaughn, not being able to keep a straight face...so she smiled.*

Joshua decided to go and look for Kenja he quickly grabeed his Plasma sword out of the recharg rack in his arrmor and pockted it then opend his dorm's door and walked out and began looking for her.

Kenja tackled him as he came around the corner. She laughed.

Kenja: Now where did you go off to last night? *she said cheerfully*

He looked at Rave.

"Now I guess it's up to you."

During all the flight, Vaughn seemed tensed. With his now full black eyes, it was quite uneasy to know where his look was aiming at. He was strangely calm and relaxed. His heart was beating, he wasn't sure who he really was (Vaughn? Zacharian?) but he had realized there were no more voices in his head. No more conflict. As if the fact he was to face his old love had washed away everything... except maybe Rave.

He was looking at her. He had this strange feeling of acomplishment. This feeling people going to their death sometimes have.

"Take care of Witz," he told Rave all in a sudden. "He's much more than he knows."

He then pointed at the side of a mountain.

"It's there."

(ooc: If you kill him you will never get *bip* again :P ...you got me worried...)

Alexander was sparring in the gym, wearing his Hoplite3 armor. Several dummies already lay on the ground, slashed to pieces. He recited the litany again. "Fight to kill, don't fight to win."

"I'm not hiding anything," he replied with a voice strangely neutral, even for him. "I know Cecilia, that's all."

He looked at Rave. She soon saw thousands of images of Cecilia in her head: an elve surely as beautiful and charismatic as Elaïne which is saying much. She saw her in numerous situations, outnumbered, fighting an army of hundreds of elves, manipulating entire landscapes by a simple movement of her fingers... just as if everything was a projection of her own mind.

The cavern was small but what seemed to have been a wall was opened like a gigantic door, leading to a second room. There were rocks disposed in no apparent order, but Rave knew too much about the magical arts not to see a pattern. This was an incredibly intricate protection symbol. Problem was, there was strictly no energy in it. Someone had to have emptied it.

Vaughn walked in. His movements were sharper than usual. He looked like a fish that had finally found the water. Rave could see shadows were acting strangely in that room: they were more like myst. He walked to a rock in a corner of the room, the focus point of the protection symbol and passed his hand on its surface.

"The knife was there," he whispered. "And I don't feel anything. At all." He turned to Rave. "And you?"

Alexander reached out. He shuddered. "If you're going to speak to me, don't go swimming first. Those images are horrible." He shook his head, clearing his mind of the image of a swimming pool. "How can I help you, Kelly?" He smoothly slid his sword into his sheathe.

"What the hell is with you and swimming?" Kelly asks as she walks over to a sword rack and grabs a Katana and removes it from it's sheath

"Its not just me. It's all Roanians. The sea is the great destroyer, bringer of death. To go in the sea is to invite destruction." Alexander spoke as if to a child. "You foreigners can not grasp the evil of the sea." Sensing hostility, he moved slightly, so that his sword could come out at a moments notice.

Rave looks at the stones, then the protection symbol. She knew the pattern well. She shuddered slightly when she saw it, in total disbelief. She ran her hands over the stones. Her touch made them jump to life. They glowed a bright red for a minute. She seemed to be concentrating. She broke off a small piece of rock from one of the stones, observing it. She kissed it gently, and it flared up in deep flames in her hand.

Rave: So much....has happend here. *She was moving so fsat amongst the stones, awakening them, feeding them power* Every person on this earth has a signature...mortal and immortal alike. When a protection seal like this one is broken, the signature is absorbed as payment. This person...that took the knife...was male..but something more. The language was in that of the angels, but only one that archangels and higher ranks would understand. Rave understood perfectly. Vaughn followed her without discussing. There was a tunnel which seemed to lead into oblivion. Darkness.

He was puzzled by the matter on the wall. It looked exactly like the gateway that led Craddock, Alexei and himself right into...

He stepped back and closed his eyes, the room began to get lighter. Soon, Rave realized this wasn't true. The room was losing its shadows. Vaughn was absorbing them. He now had an armor and a blade made of them. When he opened his eyes again, they seemed even darker than before.

"I'll get in there first," he said.

"I prefer not to have to fight annoying pricks but I'll make the exception. Little boy. But lets wager something on this," Kelly says with a smirk as she putts the katana back in it's sheath and back on the wall and grabs her swod from it's recharge rack and holds the hilt in her hand.

"Annoying prick? M'lady, I'm hurt!" Alexander smiled. "What can I possibly give someone so beautiful as you? One of my weaponary rings, perhaps? The dwarves can always make me another one." He somehow sensed that losing would involve pain. The woman might even ask me to go swimming...

She was there...bringing light to the darkest of places...and when all seemed to go into blackness forever...say the words, and light shall appear...*

Rave gave into his seductiveness and kissed him, finally giving into what had been started at the academy before they left. Rave tied it around his neck once again.

Within, the HOPLITE3's AI quickly pointed out strategic weakpoints, use of which could kill Kelly. "I don't want to do that." The cape swirled out, and he vanished from this plane.

Calico watched the fight in silent bewilderment. He had intended on joining in however, watching these two go at it was like watching picaso paint. And before he had a chance to do anything it was over and Qui turned smiling at him.

He had no problem with keeping this a secret if that was what Qui wished even though he didnt really know why. However, he then frowned slightly at Qui's continuious comments on how Calico should stick with him if he didnt want to get hurt. Calicoknew he could handle himself when he had too but still there were things here that he never seen before. Calico quickly hopped on top of Silverdeer and tore off in the direction that Qui took back to the academy. Glad to have his professor looking over him and happy to keep his secret.

"You won't die today," he said with a smile before entering the tunnel, running.

He looked at the blood on his shirt as well as from the trencoat. He could easily get away with saying it was Cyro's blood. He turned back to Calico, and looked at him once more. Qui expected great things from him, he would be a promising student. He tuned and headed back to the academy.

She saw the face and knew it well..

His voice was that of a woman, his face was contracted as if he was ill or suffering... as if he had a knife in an opened wound. But the Porté knife was in his left hand.

Slowly he changed of shape and soon Cecilia was in the room.

"You're trying to take what's mine, Ravelyn Shentavo," she said. "That is something I cannot tolerate. I guess you can understand that."

The last sentence had been said in the language of the angels.

Vaughn was standing next to Rave. He was calm.

"I am not yourse," he said. "I know you didn't intend to but you are now my ennemy."

His voice had faded on the last word. He took a aggressive position, maintaining his sword with his two hands, as if he wanted to prove he was more determined than he really was.

Cecilia murmurred something. A dozen of shadows appeared in the room.

"Let's see if you haven't grown too old... my love."

"Your nation has that civlry crap still going. And I know that it means that you help someone in distress especaly women. But maybe you might get your kiss," Kely says as she turns off her sword and offers her hand to help Alexander up.

Rave: That's where you are mistaken. He is not you're love...he is mine. *she rose to the air and stood in front of Vaughn defensively. She drew her sword and motioned for Mc Lean to attack. The soul may be Cecelia..but the body was still human. Something Rave had never beleived she would ever do, happened. She absorbed the shadows within the room, and fell to the ground, grimmicing in pain. She was of good alignment, not of evil. Every shadow hurt her...but she beared the pain and stood up, and stood between Vaughn and Cecelia with her blade drawn. Blood ran from the corner of her mouth, but Vaughn couldn't see it. She began to pray softly...ever so softly, in her ancient language...spoken before time was time.*

"She's got potential," Cecilia told Vaughn, as Rave and he were fighting back to back. "Too bad it's just that... potential."

She waved her hand and other shadows appeared. There were just too many of them. Even for Rave's and Vaughn's forces combined.

You see, you can't die, because I'm about to become the greatest threat for this planet. And only you will be able to stop me, because I love you, Vaughn sent to Rave.

In a flash of darkness, all the shadows disapeared. Rave could feel the incredible ammount of power that was suddenly focussed behind her back.

Cecilia was smiling.

"You decided to join me so soon?" She told Vaughn. "She's barely hurt."

Vaughn was fighting... but the time would soon come when he won't be able to control the shadows. After this, he would cease to be a Knight and become a Night.

I'm not sure what's going on with Rave and Underloz, but Kelly is about to throw Alexander into the swimming pool.

*She holds out her hand as light emits from it. It goes directly to her embleem she had given Vaughn, restoring him as if he took no damage what so ever. She merely stared at Celelia, letting the blood flow from her lip. Before she could take blood of another, hers must be spilt. She continued her prayer so softly...the room seemed to lighten. She lashed out at the shadows, keeping an eye on Vaughn. The shadows seemed to be absorbed by her. As she absorbed the darkness, she gave Vaughn her own soul. Her pure, angelic blood...her lightness. She continued praying softly...just a small while longer...then Cecelia would see what she had been muttering softly to herself about...*

Kelly grabs his ahnd and drags him to the pool and removes her arrmor and tosses in watter Alexander and then jumping in herself

Alex rubs the blue ring. A cushion of air surrounds him. He recites the litany against fear, taught to all Inquisitors. "Fear is the mind killer. I must not fear. Fear is the mind killer. I must not fear." He uses all of his training to block the images. The mind is stronger than the memory. He calms down, and then tries to reach the ladder, half expecting to be pulled back inside.

Kelly garbed him around the waist and suplexed him back into the pool laughing. "Wussy. Relax there isn't anything that can hurt except me," Kelly says giggling

Rave saw. She saw Cecilia creating the tunnel, she saw Cecilia writing on the walls. She saw.

"I'm here for revenge," Cecilia continued. "And you acted exactly as I expected... thanks to the prophecy. He isn't protected against the knife now."

She disapeared. Rave then heard the sound of her necklace breaking, the sound of a blade entering a body, the sound of a heart stopping.

The Porté knife was right into his heart, no one was there anymore to hold it. Vaughn was falling on the floor.

Kelly still laughing submerges her self and swims to the deepest part of the pool.

"Damn. You enjoy taunting me." Alexander sank to the bottom of the pool himself. The air around him ensured his safety. "I may not have my armor, but I can still become invisible." He faded from sight, and reapeared behind Kelly, grabbing her around the chest and pulling her into the airshield. "Caught you."

As he peruses the arcane koans of the Black Codex, he fleetingly wonders where everyone is.

Half attacked Cecilia...ripping through her...the other went to Vaughn...taking the knife out and repairing the wound...starting the heart again...* You didn't expect this...you never heard the prophecy that Qui predicted...I'll never be there to tell it to you...for I have some exchanging to do....

Angel: You know the price?

Rave: *whom was in complete tears, yet not crying at all* Yes...I do.

The angel nodded...they left Cecilia on the ground and flowed into Rave. The Porté knife was held by the angel that had spoken.

Rave: do it...NOW! *she cried. The knife went through her in a single motion from the angel, right to her heart. Rave fell to her knees. The walls began to bleed. Blood flowed from them like the blood from Rave's lip...the blood on the walls was hers...she cried out.* Vaughn....*she could no longer see...everything went black*

Kelly sapt some water in his face anf says "Not any more." She suddenly pushes off of the pools floor with great force luanching her in the air and he cannon balls back in.

Kelly pokes her head back in the bubble and says "Nope not at all." She then smirks as she swims to the other end of the pool

"Grr..." In spite of his surroundings, Alexander was enjoying himself immensely. "I'll get you yet." He disapeared and reapeared beside her. "Got you now." Picking his spot carefully, he grabbed her waist tightly.

"Well then you fly to," Kelly says as she pushes off of the pool floor and flys up into the air and lands in the deep end.

Elaïne was sat in a tree. Her eyes were closed. Her soul wasn't thousands miles away from her body, it was even farther, in a place where she never thought she would ever have to step in.

That's what Elaïne had heard and so she did. She travelled through the realities, her soul walked passed the frontiers that weren't to be passed. She saw the soul she was seeking for and simply grabbed it.

All she can see is darkness. I'm glad it is that way, she would surely have resisted otherwise.

Elaïne saw the figure looking at her.

"A soul for a soul," she simply said perfectly aware that the figure knew what she was talking about.

Slowly, the surrounding became more real, more tangible.

"For you, my brother, may your soul find peace even if it's in Hell now," Elaïne whispered to herself as she was looking at the Academy from the top of the tree.

"AAAH!" He splashed into the water. "Damn... two can play that game." He grabbed her tighter and spun up, landing outside the pool. He kissed her cheek. "Now, are you going to give up, or am I going to be forced back into the water?"

"Never!" Kelly shouts with joy ans she flips both of them into the pool.

SPLASH! Alex shuddered. "Okay, Kelly. If that's the way you want it..." He moved his hands up a few spaces and squeezed.

He pressed her against him and seemed to hesitate.

"You sacrificed yourself... I shouldn't tell you this but... Contact Sir Arthur Craddock, he's the ambassador from Valinon. There is someone with him, called Alexei... No... It's too dangerous... Forget about it."

If they had learned about his death, they wouldn't react such strongly, she thought bitter.

She looked at the sky and began to sing like her mother used to when her brother couldn't sleep.

Her eyes were wet.

Rachel hung up. Odd. Alex has never wanted me around before... what's going on? And why is Kelly there?"

She grabbed her armor and ran for a Dropship.

Rave's kin all gathered in the main hall... looking over their lost sire. The end of her existance..the end...the end??? for that devil of an angel?....

Rave stood a few feet away in Vaughn's body. She wasn't used to his powers...she missed her wings..her body for that matter...she would get Vaughn back...no matter what.

As soon as you take the knife out, given there is a soul in there, you'll heal. My brother gave you what you needed to resist to the knife before the battle.
