Yeah its insane what they charge for some of that stuff, especially the food nowadays. I plan on becoming really good with carpentry so that when I finally have a child (whenever the hell that may be) I can at least build a lot of things for him/her playpen, crib, etc. To cut the costs.

That I don't have. But in compensation, marijuana is the lowest local law enforcement priority, which is the closest we can get for now. I dig that if it comes to giving a parking ticket or busting a dude for bud, it's the parking ticket here.

I learned that the ER at the hospital I went to Wednesday night was very efficient (learned that wed. night, but meh.)

Usually around here a trip to the ER takes oh, about 6 hours, but nope. I was in and out in about 3. They checked me in, triage, ran my labs, called me back to a room (I sat in the waiting room while they were checking my labs) started an IV, gave me meds, doctor came in, wrote me a script and sent me home.

Very nice.

They called today to check on me, and already set up a follow up appt. with my doctor for me.

I learned a ton of things today, but nothing of any substantial worth unless you're a fan of racing history, and frankly I learned so damn much I've already forgotten most of it. But it was crazy fucking cool all the same. Imagine being that guy with the Ferarri 360 who, where he lives, is the guy with the Ferarri 360 and you take your car to an event and it's more common than a Honda Civic and no one even bothers to glance at it because frankly there is far too much awesome to be bothered with something as pedistrian as a Ferarri 360.

That was my weekend. Where I learned a lot, but nothing of consiquence to anyone but me. But it's too late, you already read it. Suckers.

Something that finally came into focus today: courage means vulnerability. People are not considered courageous because they are impervious. People are considered courageous because they can be squashed like a bug. Be it physical, mental or emotional distress, one not only has to have the capability of experiencing these things but also the acceptance of these things as part of being courageous.

Being vulnerable is not a weakness.

I wanted to be such a biggot..

I felt like yelling "You ******!", but I don't like it when people look at me..

BTW, I'm saying one of them spit on my foot..

But meh..

OMG!

I looked in my pocket and found a bag of weed.. I almost shit myself for forgetting it in there...

apparently the theatre is haunted by patrons who died in a fire during a performance a long ways back. theatre burned down 3 times since 1818.

*edit* the are old clippings that are on the walls of the theatre that describe hauntings from the early 1900s*

also, many of the workers in the theatre have reported sightings of hearing (or in some seeing) children in teh balcony after the show when the lights go out.

I myself work aftershow maintenance there, and have heard some odd things, but sounds echo so much in there its hard to be sure.

I have heard what sounds like small footsteps on the balcony as i was cleaning the main floor. didnt see anything though. and there are cold spots....so who knows.

apparently the theatre is haunted by patrons who died in a fire during a performance a long ways back. theatre burned down 3 times since 1818.

Creepy!

I've never experienced anything I didn't think could be explained, so I don't really believe in ghosts, but stories like that are weird.

Ah, ok. So what I said, 35oc = 95oF & 50oC = 122oC
