I wouldn't mind it so much other than there is gluten in the numbing stuff they use so I can't have it, and even though I have a very high tolerance for pain, I have a fear of people poking in my mouth with drills and sharp piece of metal, so they have to give me Ketamine to knock me out (or make me high, I hear I am fully awake but I don't remember a damn thing) anyway, the normal $400 for a dentist becomes $2500 after I pay the anesthesiologist and all.....:headbang:

wheat is cheap? we don't have an effective lobby with anyone, there is no money in research since we are "fixable" by going gluten free, and wheat is so cheap that there isn't really a reason not to use it since only 1 in 133 people need wheat free stuff.

I learned that more people prefer skill than beauty when it comes to oral sex.

I learned that spammers will always ***** that they are being discriminated against - whether it's an "Ask a..." thread, another pointless abortion thread, or something on sexual orientation.

This helps me in real life, where I must deal with real issues of discrimination, such as people being thrown off their university course for having the wrong skin colour.

You can't post the 60th thread on the subject of your choice on a FREE forum you don't own or run. Cry me a river.

I also learned that ingorance and hate will always crush rational arguement and that the intolerant always get their way because by shouting loudest, longest they're bound to turn any intelligent debate into spam.

I can use this in real life by not argueing with idiots who'll drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.

I learned how to buzz roll on a snare drum. Ok, not completely, it's hard to time it to the point where it sounds like one note (keep in mind, I'm buzz rolling close to the center, not the edge).

First thing I'm going to do is walk to Rittenhouse Square and just take some pictures and then go window shop because I know those stores there, I can't afford. :p

Then maybe go down to that whole Bellevue shopping center, because William & Sanoma is cool..

Or instead of that I'm going to wonder off to Macy's near city hall..

So basicly just walking around, and museums.

Also, if your gonna be downtown, may as well check out Urban Outfitters and H&M (they were extending it ages ago, it might be finished, if it is, it'll be awesome). So superior to Macy's.

Also, if you don't normally, go into the Lord and Taylor (old Wannamaker) building right next to City Hall. Its way too expensive for real people, obviously, but the building itself is simply beautiful, as is the organ. Senior prom was in one of the top floors of that building. Absolutely gorgeous!!!

And, as always, if you go to the Art Museum, be sure to run up the step a la Rocky. Have fun and be safe!!

Why isn't there a.. gluten free anesthetic? (sp?)

There used to be cocaine and then it's derivitive novacaine. but in the 70s and 80s addiction to coke became so popular that prices skyrocketed and many dentists offices were burgled and occasionally even robbed. It was in this environment that novacaine was banned and discontinued and many many other locals came into common use. There almost certainly is a gluten free one.

Epinephrine is a drug which is often a part of the mix in local anesthetics. especially those which are used for long procedures. It can multiply the amount of time that an injection keeps a patient numb by several times. Unfortunately Epinephrine is also the usual culprit when people get symptoms akin to allergic reactions and/or overclocking heartbeats and/or lightheadedness to the point of fainting etc etc. Epinephrine-free local anesthetics abound because so many people have problems with Epinephrine.. These just wear off quicker and need closer monitoring of patient comfort/pain levels.

I'm one of those people who has a problem with epinephrine. I have to make sure that anything I take for my allergies doesn't have it in it. It's not so much a light-headed feeling, like you're about to faint, but this hyper-headed feeling. It can be rather scary.

I've learn't that it is a good time for sleep.
