Well, I tried someting like this once before, and people seemed to like it just fine, in fact it had several participants, but it sorta fell apart because of some RL problems with me. I have a bit more time on my hands now, so I've decided to try it again. For anyone whom tried it before, the storyline is basically the same.

The basic rules are, NO GOD-MODDING! This should be a given, but I'm getting that out of the way. Second, no controlling someone else (I'm very grouchy when it comes to this) Thirdly, no flaming. We're here to have fun, if you wan't arguments, go to the General forum.

Heres the story:
Pretty much, demons have decided to invade earth, they start with the city of sin (Las Vegas), and take it without much problems. Heres a survivers account on what happened:
It all started out as a normal day in Las Vegas, porn dealers at every corner, maybe a few guys starting in with their bongs. Then the fire came. At first the people of Vegas, (Those in their senses enough to notice), thought it an unusualy warm rain. Then that rain began to burn the flesh as it came in contact, then it rained fire. People ran for safety, screaming as their limbs burned, the flesh melting, and their bones cracking from the heat. Great fires began to appear in the streets, and demons stepped from those fires. They were human in appearance, but their hair, it was a maroonish color, and their eyes burned a deep crimson, there was no mercy within those eyes. The demons wore medeival style plate armor, that must've weighed one hundred pounds as if it were paper. They were eight feet tall, the bulk of them, the shortest at about seven foot five, the tallest nearly reaching nine feet. Each carried a weapon, also medeival, usualy a longsword or a bastard sword, though the largest had broadswords in each hand. There was shocked silence throughout the streets, then a police officer shot one of the larger ones in the arm with a revolver. The demon looked down at the hole in his bicep, and put a clawed hand to his arm and began to dig out the bullet. He pulled out the still whole bullet and grinned. He looked at the offending human and flicked the bullet, as one would a quarter. No-one saw the bullet fly, only the officer immeadiatly crumple. This broke the spell, the humans began to run, screaming as they went, and the demons started to laugh, chasing the fleeing humans, killing any they caught. Hellspawn began to flood out of the fires, laughing and killing. Las Vegas fell that very day, with little resistance. Soon the demons controlled all of Nevada, then eventualy they controlled most of North-Western USA, then suddenly they stopped going forward, they did not assault easily gained targets, but rather began to assimilate their counquered territory. Instead of slaughtering the humans as all suspected, but seemed to think of them as citizens.

Seeing this assault upon the Earth, the High Lords of Heavan decided to intervene. They could not let the Fallen Angels take the world, which their Lord spent so much time in creating. It was further deduced that the Hellspawn had an ulterior motive in the invasion. Most likely, they planned a strike at heaven itself. They would first have tofind the entryway to heaven, the Garden of Eden. The war of the ages was about to erupt.

As for characters, you can either be a demon, angel, human, or half breed. Post your basic character details, I allow one power for demons, angels, and half-breeds, to make up for the humans shortcomings, humans are the only ones allowed guns/ modern technology. And before anyone tries, no, you cannot be God/Satan.

Also, this RP will be different as in that I don't care whom wins. It depends on the individual RP'ers who wins.

Race: Warrior Angel
Appearance: Hrist naturally pale skin and exceedingly straight gloss black hair, which is well cared for but allowed the fall naturally without any substantial attempts to style it. Her eyes are dark violet, though the color is clearly discernable. She stands approximately 1.75 metres tall (5 feet 9 inches) She weighs 70 kilograms (154.35 lbs), though if asked she won't say. She appears to be 27 years old, but her true age is indeterminate, as she has theoretically existed since the dawn of time, if not before.

Bio:
Hrist is one of a very small group, the female angels, specifically from the almost non-existant sect of female warrior angels, which have been known as Valkyries in other cultures. To equate her rank into human terms she is a front line combat officer, actively engaged in the worst of the fight along with the other warrior angels under her command. She is far from being one of the upper commanders, but that suits her just fine.

She was sent to Las Vegas as a 'one angel recon force', however the extent of the incursion has lead her to taking an active role in combat. She believes in her goal and doesn't waver from the objective. She won't pick a fight she doesn't believe she can win but won't back down from a challenge unless it is shown to be a hopeless endeavor, at which point she will extricate herself from the fight, usually via her ability to teleport.

OOC: Not exactly within the guidelines, but at least he has a fighting chance and his weakness is common knowledge to angel and demon alike.

Name: Darius Maxim (shortened from Maximus)

Race: Human/Immortal (explained in bio, he's weaker than a divine being but stronger than a human)

Looks: About 5'10" with black hair and green eyes; muscular build with romanesque facial features

Bio: One of the few chosen by God to be morally higher than other men, and rewarded with the gift of immortality for the purpose of purging evil from the world. The one way to kill him, like all other immortals, is decapitation.
He is formerly Darius Maximus, of the 47th Legionary Cohort. Secretly forsaking the pagan beliefs of the Roman Empire, he followed the teachings of a Nazarene named Jesus, allowing the philosophy to permeate his lifestyle. He was, as previously mentioned, awarded with immortality at the cost of being prohibited from having children, lest less than moral humans gain this attribute.
He has seen action in almost every war the planet has faced from the defeat of Pompeii to the Crusades, to the World Wars. The Vatican, seeing him for who and what he is, sheltered him within the city and utilized him as their agent throughout the centuries to vanquish evil as it manifested on Earth. Thus, he traveled to Sin City at the bidding of the Pontiff to eradicate what appeared to be a mjor offensive on the part of the forces of evil.

Weapons: Steyr AUG, Baretta 92FS, gladius, longsword; the latter two have been blessed by the Pope

Powers (If Angelic/Demonic): Immortality, allowing Darius to live forever at the age of 25 and survive but sustain any injury a mortal would suffer. (He won't die from a shot in the heart but he'll pass out from blood loss and experience all the pain, reviving an hour or so later) The only way to kill him is by removing his head.

Name: Apollyon (one of the plague bringers in the book of Revelation)

Race: Half-breed/(self-serving, forms alliances that benefit him)

Looks: 6'0, face wrapped in black cloth, crimson eyes. Wears powerful armor.

Bio: Once part of a covenant to be carried out during the rightful end times, now has broken off his pact and has left on his own to participate in the demonic attack, with hopes of disrputing the rightful course of time for his own freedom.

Weapons: 48 inch electric sword, can be used conventionally but mainly used to channel his psychic connection with the locusts at his command.

Powers (If Angelic/Demonic) Complete control over locusts. (OCC: Anyone seen The Reaping? Like that.) Can command locusts to surround him as a shield or can command them to attack others. The locusts don't bite, they just suffocate their prey and return to their master. Also can use locusts to cover the sky around the area the block out nearly all light.

[B]Appearance: Always clad in silvery armor covered with glowing blue runes. Also has a red scarf around neck and a large golden ring that floats just behind his back. He stands at about 7'2'' and is a slender yet very well built figure.

Power: Divine abilities [relatively easy for him to use], Divide summonings [require a lot of energy, preparation, and have long cooldown times which make him slightly more vulnerable after/during use], Enhanced Regeration [use of this ability causes him to become much slower and sometimes lose conciousness]
Weapons: An axe that also serves as a sheith for a hidden katana, both were made from silver babtized in Holy Water, Exocism Gauntlets, and a sacred halberd known as "Lightning Angel" due to the divine elctrical energy that sometimes gathers around its blade.
Bio: A past sinner who lost everything, he recently joined an organization that would give him a second chance if he gave full faith to the heavens. Though he fights for the light and is commited to his cause, some of his old friends have not been forgot, and for information, he keeps them alive and out of sight.
Most Used Phrase: "I will strike will the wrath of the Heavens!"

Side Note: Despite his faith to the Heavens, he has a demonic companion/contact known as Umbra who helps him from time to time with information, and in some cases, fighting.

Accepted all (Though RS and Greywatch toed the lines a bit) And Calaveras, please make up some reason he can't use his full godly powers. (i.e. something like a curse, only being able to draw out his full powers in hell, ect) This is to avoid God-modding. If, however, we get into hell during the RP, which is very possible, you can go ahead and have some fun. ;) Also, for all the half-breeds, please state what halves they are.

And, here is my character. (Accepting the ones the starter has to be, such as Demon/Angel Lords) Its basically the same character I used last time.

Name: Aozora no Namida
Race: Half-breed (Half demon half human)
Looks: About 6'4, weighing around 180 lbs, looks almost entirely like a full demon, except for his height.
Weapons: Katana, about five feet, as well as being fully competent with hand-to hand combat.
Powers: Controlling darkness, a very sought after power in the demon community, but he is far from mastering it.
Bio: He is very young, only about 28 years old. His mother was named Naomi Sakeda. He was conceived during a demon raid into Japan (a raid that was kept quiet by the government) by a Demon Beserker, by the name of Shlake Kazara. The said demon was not interested in rasing a 'mutt', as most demons call half-breeds, so he was left to his mother, whom named him Aozora no Namida which means Tears Fall From the Blue Sky. (That is, if I remember right, I could be wrong) He was well loved by his mother, but was shunned by the rest of the human community. He came to Vegas after hearing of the invasion, hoping that the demons would be more accepting. He was sorely disappointed.

OOC: I also edited mine, added in one more ability but listed some drawbacks to keep it even. And don't worry about the contact, he's the kind guy who calls the character up on a cellphone to tell him something like "this guy's meeting here" or "you got company" and rarely fights along side that character himself.

Bio: A 17 year old who is torn between being demon and being human. He tries to work things out diplomatically, but he isn't afraid of a fight should it boil down to one. He's one of a few half demons that lose their powers during certain events. Whenever there's an eclipse (lunar or solar), his hair turns brown with natural red highlights, his claws and fangs vanish, and he loses all demonic powers. For all intents and purposes during this time, he's human. Despite being half-demon and quite able to teleport, he loves driving and owns a blue Chevy Monte Carlo.
Weapons: none
Powers: he can alter matter with a simple touch (useful for creating weapons and exits), teleportation, extended sight (he can see what an object might "see" once his magic is in it)

Bio: I do not remember much of my past, just brief touches of confusing imagery now and again, usually accompanied by monstrous headaches and flashes of intense pain.

I use the name the good folk that found my nearly deceased self gave me . The bodies of five Demons had been found scattered about my senseless form, and they say it was obvious by the injuries, that I had not only fought and defeated the five, but has escaped from a captivity that had been endured for some time. Outwardly you can not tell that I have ever had so much as a scratch. Inside however it was a far different story and to this day I do not delve into my memories too deeply.
I am a creature of the senses, earthy and sensual. I love fine foods and drink, rich living and luxury unabridged. Cat like is my curiosity and I adore books.

Weapons: Naginata, Chakram, daggers

Acrobatics, gymnastics, and 'airs above ground' form a large part of my fighting style.

I am highly proficient with a Naginata and chakram combination. Daggers I know as well . My Naginata and Chakrams come to my call, for I do not carry them openly - I am never unarmed, as they are but a thought away. I can fight unarmed as well, but much prefer not to let an opponent get that close to me.

Powers : Shards of Light & limited mind reading/ confuse others

SHARDS of LIGHT, silvery slivers of energy with hearts of a pulsating violet hue that are ‘thrown’ from my fingers, energy pulsing up from my chakras, my internal energy points. They are cold, heatless until they strike, then what they impact is dissolved instantly, especially if that impact is upon unprotected Demonic flesh. It works slower on a Demon's armor, and upon the Demon's servants. Unaltered humans and most others will be severely stunned but not destroyed.

The ability to cast these Shards is not unlimited - as each is a part of me, my own energies. I have learned that I can use them to form a temporary shield about me and others close to me. I can also can use them to heal but it is not easy and drains me greatly. It puts both myself and the person I am healing in peril as both of us are all but comatose.

I can read the minds of most, if I concentrate hard enough, but vampires and other sentient undead are blank to me. Intense emotions and pain can keep me from reading thoughts, and sometimes, despite all my efforts all I can ascertain are emotional states. I have, at times, been able to confuse another's mind or blind them with intense headaches - as my own sometimes do to me.

There are some unique abilitiesto call my own.

Flight - The wings give part of them away from the first. I can fly, with great endurance and extreme airborne agility. Dancing among the clouds is one of my greatest pleasures and never have there been problems with breathing in even the coldest and thinnest of air. My wingspan is much greater than people might imagine when they see my wings furled. The metallic silver feathers, mirror like in their polish and reflectivity are barred at their tips with narrow bands of indigo, platinum, cobalt and black - opened they span nearly twenty feet and are highly flexible, as I can wrap them about me as a living cloak. This is not the hue they were when I was found, those feathers had been systematically destroyed, leaving the bone structure all but bare, the tattered remnants of skin flesh covering them burned and thickened with scar tissue

Vision - My dark violet eyes are pupiled like a cat's, and enable me to see with great acuity even in all but complete darkness, and great distances, like an eagle.

Other Senses - My other senses are equally acute, though sometimes this is a hazard, as extreme stenches or extremely loud noises can not only hold me at bay, but can actually harm me. I cannot bear the feel of other than the softest of fabrics and furs upon me. Spicy and pungent foods are most enjoyable, and it is nigh impossible to poison me via that which must be ingested, as my taste buds will warn me of alterations or additions.

My movements are filled with the grace, speed, and silence of a feline and I am as lithely agile as one as well. I am distinctly stronger than a human female of my build. I may be indolent by nature but my weapons practice and flying keep me in excellent condition.

In combat, or during intense emotion, I glow with an inner light much the same as the do Shards....

Bio: Is the Captain of the Heavenly Host. Is a strategic planner, doesn't rush into battle, will wait for the prayers of the saints. He has control of his emotions, and always is one step ahead of the demons.
Powers: Can appear visible or invisible to humans, move through solid objects. Can disguise himself as a normal person, and has a sweet flaming sword.

Appearance: 7 feet tall and athletic; near-black eyes that occasionally sparkle light brown or red, depending on his mood; he looks like an angel gone somewhat wrong, with something just off; black and brown wings, slightly scaly skin; hard, sharp nails; impressive large wingspan

Weapons: talwar made of katana-class steel that can heat to ridiculously high degrees, special dagger that works only on humans (spiritual in form, stabs the life force directly, won off the angel of death in a bet), armor made of combined steel chain mail and Kevlar and a helmet

Bio: Nobody knows how he came to be, but for much of his life he was alternately raised in both heaven and hell. Later on, he went on his own, drifting between heaven, hell, and earth on a whim. As of now he regards himself and is regarded by others as a neutral, feeling too impure to associate with angels and too moral to easily side with the demons. Caught in an internal clash between good and evil, he feels most closely related to hmans. he likes to disguise himself as one of them and work to stop the spread of atheism.

Powers: fast, long flight; impervious to fire and hellfire; recovers very quickly from injuries and being stunned; speaks all human tongues and can usually tell if someone is trying to manipulate him (more from experience than his intuition, but that helps); invisibility for himself, his clothes, and what he carries; can cause great hope or deep despair in humans; very persuasive

Name: Tyr

Race: Half-angel, half-human

Appearance: Tyr is a commanding figure, standing at 7'5", which is in fact smaller than the cursed Nephilim of old. Tyr has typical angelic features which are slightly betrayed by the influence of his mother. For instance, his long hair is nearly black rather than blonde, and his eyes fluctuate between blue and green. Tyr also has very broad shoulders and is rather muscular.

Bio: Little of his background is known. His human mother died many decades ago and his angelic father was banished to hell for disobeying god. He was named after a pagan norse god, something that would later come to haunt him. Tyr was born without knowledge of divine things, and therefore was given a chance to repent his sin of being an unnatural being. He became highly religious at a very young age, and became aware of his angelic powers sometime around the age of 17. Shortly after that the angel Gabriel appeared to him, and since then Tyr has been able to call Gabriel whenever he is in need of guidance. In this way the archangel acts as a link between Tyr and god.

Weapons: Tyr carries a longsword that has been blessed by the archangel Gabriel, as well as a pistol with bullets bathed in holy water.

Powers: Tyr can speak in tongues, he is able to communicate with angels, humans and demons alike. This, however, is typical of the divine. His real power is his immunity to demonic weapons and demons themselves. If a demon tries to attack Tyr, Tyr will fall into a trance, muttering gibberish whilst heavenly light bursts from his body. Any demonic weapon will merely deflect off from Tyr. Additionally, Tyr is immortal but can be killed by human weapons, if he is hit in the head. Tyr is also cursed in the same way he is blessed in that, as punishment for not accepting a Christian name, Tyr is not able to speak his name out loud.

Name: Lilith

Race: First Human/Succubus Demon

Appearance: A 5' 3" voluptuous woman, dark hair and eyes, features that are possibly Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, or Hispanic/Native American, tan skin when "human", but pales as she moves into her demonic form.

Bio: "After God created Earth, he created Man to watch over it. But Man was lonely so he created a companion for man. His first effort was not from Adam's rib, but another from dust, a woman named Lilith. But, Lilith refused to obey Adam, and finally, even God; so she was given the choice to obey or to leave the garden, and so she left.
Lilith would join with Demon kind upon leaving, that being God's curse for her disobedience. Vengeance against the children of Adam and Eve, as well as against God and his Kingdom is her primary drive; she seduces the souls of humankind for her own power. She doesn't really fall in line with the rest of Demon kind, though her numerous children are quite comfortable in amongst Demon ranks. She is with the Demon army, though is acting on her own plans.

Powers: Similar to most high ranking Demons and Angels: flight, simple projectile magic, teleportation, some other minor abilities. She carries no weapons, but can produce claws and has increased strength, agility, and speed compared to humans, but is generally weaker than angels and demons. She is a very limited fighter, and general avoids combat.
Unique to Lilith and other Succubus' is their ability of seduction and persuasion, of which Lilith has complete mastery over this ability. It is quite effective on humans and demons, but is fairly weak against Angels, especially the more divinely influenced they are.

Name: Theodoric

Race: Angelic, Ascended Human

Gender: Male

Appearance: 6'1", Reddish-Brown Short Hair, Same colored stubble, Very Dark Brown Eyes, Bloody Cloth around eyes (it had to do with the way he was martyred), and speaks in Latin with a thick German Accent. Wears a Simple Monk robe.

Bio: Theodoric, the greatest exorcist in the early Holy Roman Empire, was ordered to excorcise a demon from an unnamed Emperor. This demon, who called itself Kalemanicz, proved to be a challenge for Theodoric. After a whole month of attempted exorcism, Theodoric challenged Kalemanicz to single combat in spiritual plane within the Emperor. The battle took a whole year until Theodoric sacrificed his own life to vanquish Kalemanicz. Because of this selfless act, God granted Theodoric the rank of Angel in the secong ring of Heaven. Theodoric now vows to do all he can to fight the demonic forces invading earth.

Weapons: Holy Water grenades, Shard of the Spear of Destiny (serves as his knife), Crucifix blessed by the Pope as a relic and dipped in Holy Water, Burning Blade of the Holy Sepulchre (A white sword dowsed in Holy Flame).

Powers: Cry of the Banshee (A piercing scream), Teleportation, Holy Aura, Power of the Word.

Indeed ^^ his voice has the power of persation(think of sarumans words off of lord of the rings, and that kind of effect) and as for your charecters what did you have in mind, although he is a demon god, he isnt all evil, he will do whatever it takes to gain power, be it good or evil deeds.

I don't really care, I just need something for 'em to do. Try and take Aya as the queen of hell or something, convert Aozora, be imaginative. Aozora will do anything he thinks is fun, as long as it isn't too evil, but Aya is like a naughty little girl who knows shes wrong, and will try to worm out of it.

Bio: Kenavt was supposedly sent straight from God to deal with this crisis. Because his wings can be put in to his jacket from nifty slots in it, and that he doesn't look too angelic, he can mix in within the general populace. Not much is known about Kenavt, except he may have played a big role in the overthrowing of Satan, and is joining for personal reasons.
Weapons: Fists and powers, duh! Also has magic sword (allowed?).
Powers: Fly, slight premonitions, super strength, speed, sight, can alter matter (portals, changing substances within limited boundaries).

Alright, I mentioned I'd set up another character to stay in Las Vegas, and here's the bio.

Race: Half-Angel

Looks: Not as athletic-looking as Joshua, Short (about 5' 4"), black hair to her shoulders, and a slight roundness to her face

Bio: Although half angel and not demon, her and Joshua are the closest of friends. They met in high school, and like Joshua, she was raised by her mother. Unlike him though, she has met her father, the angel half of her. She has also grown up to be an outstanding martial artist and she's only 18.

Weapons: throwing knives in a pouch on her belt and a dagger is hidden somewhere under one of her shirt's very loose sleeves.

Powers (If Angelic/Demonic): Psyonics (ranging from telekinesis to telepathy and even illusions so real you can smell and touch them), some control over water.

Name: Malach the Gatekeeper/'Mal'
Race: Banished angel
Looks: (in his human form) - a tall, dark-haired man with broad shoulders. Prefers wearing loose clothing, such as long trenchcoats.
(in his 'angelic' form): a broad-shouldered angel with large, pitch-black wings, every flap tossing out soot and dust. In this form Malach usually goes bare-chested, his skin crackling and burning with anger, his eyes burning with fire.
Bio: Malach was once an angel, but during Lucifer's war against the Lord he originally fought on the Betrayer's side. Seeing how the war was turning to defeat, he opted to turn back to the Lord, and thus avoid full banishment. However, as punishment for his original rebellion he was still cast out of the Heavens, to stand guard at the Gates of Hell until the Day of Reckoning. Not surprisingly, Lucifer was none too happy with 'Malach the Turn-Coat', so his existence at the Gates had been that of endless solitude, banished from Heaven and barred from Hell.
When the demons erupted to Las Vegas, Malach had attempted to stop them - it was not yet time for the Legions of Hell to spew forth. However, he was cast aside, the sheer pressure of demonic power tossing him out of the Limbo into the physical world, as a cat would regurgitate a hairball.
In the mortal world, Malach is bound in his human form, his powers incredibly weakened. As a traitor for both sides, his status is quite precarious now; should he attempt to stem the demonic tide in hope of celestial mercy, or court the favour of the demons in hopes of earning some merit in Hell. Whether Lucifer Himself is involved, he knows not.
Weapons: (in his human form) his own control over fire, but if forced to, he will resort to firearms or - if available - anything with a blade. (in his 'angelic' form) a burning halberd.
Powers: In his human form Malach retains only a portion of his abilities, namely that of control and manipulation of flames. He is still an immortal, but his new physical frailty demands him to sleep and rest if he is tired or wounded. And while physically strong, he is no match for demons or angels in a prolonged fight. In his angelic form, Malach's control over fire grows more powerful, his stamina and strength will be returned to angelic levels and his wings give him the power of flight.
Weakness: Locked in his human form, and is apparently unable to regain his full power unaided. Unused as he is to being human, he is likely to tire himself out quickly.

And Monica would be a great asset in Hell at Lucifer's tower at the moment. If she's truly neutral she'll try to get the key and keep EVERYONE from the garden. Otherwise the balance of power tips to one side's favor, and her neutrality is compromised by supporting the side that gains the power.

I'm just a sophomore in high school (almost a junior) and I hate my school and most of the teachers in it.

RESPECT THE TEACHERS!!! I know you seem to think we have no business being alive, but to be fair, we do put up with a lot of shit.

I said most, not all. My aunt is a teacher, a very close family friend is a teacher, and my cousin is going to school to be a teacher. It's also something I've considered myself. Other prime examples for me are the Geography teacher (Mr. Vatsaas) and the choir director (Ms. Reese). They're both wonderful teachers and although they have their quirks, we all like them and respect them.

There are however people that should not be teachers. One of the FACS teachers at school treats us like we're in 2nd grade and is really condescending. She also is a know-it-all and tends to not think before speaking all the time.

Ah, I know those sorts. A couple of my colleauges are one such as those. I've got it easy, I teach history. I can be a know-it-all, and be as condenscending as I want, and it doesn't matter, because most of my students aren't paying attention in the first place.

Awww, now that sucks. I'm rather fond of history myself. I wouldn't want to teach it, but I like it. And believe me, they pay attention, just not to the subject matter. If you act snobby, you get snobby back. Explain it in a nice way and change paces about half way through the class and trust me, it works. At least it does where I go to school.

Let me do a little thinking and I should have something soon for you. This is going to be fun. It'll be hard to wail on Zena though, she's the "baby" of all my creations. For lack of a better phrase at least.

She's actually the oldest, but she's the one that I hold most dear and try to keep as close to the original as possible. It's killing me right now that I used most of her throwing knives cause she actually uses them a lot in her original storyline. Joshua on the other hand as gone through a MAJOR overhaul to fit within the reams of NSG where as Zena just gained her psychic abilities, something I planned on getting to from the start anyway.

I know what you mean. Aozora actually a corruption of one of my favorites, Alehkra. I couldn't bear to change him, so I made a new guy that just happens to bear a lot of similarities.

Oh nice. I didn't like how limited Joshua was in the beginning anyway, so the overhaul to bring him to NSG was almost a blessing in disguise. If I left him as is, his spells would take forever, he wouldn't have the golums, and he'd also be more savage and brutal than he is now. Zena however looks like when I first created her. Everything from the lack of height to the combat boots with a skirt is right along with the original.

A skirt? Interesting.... Aozora is really just a more humurous and less gruff (and slightly less evil) version of Alehkra. Hes not nearly as good of a fighter, but Alehkra has no magic whatsoever.

Oh, did I forget to mention that earlier? Ya, she wears a knee length skirt embroidered with dragons chasing each other. And if Aozora decides to get perverted on her, she will almost literally knock his head off. Or castrate him, whichever she feels is more appropriate. :p

I can see the trade off between fighting and magic being important. You don't want to have someone be insanely powerful magically and be good in combat skills without having another weakness. That's why Zena and Joshua are so good together, they cover the other's weak spots and work in tandem almost without thought. Though that's partly of my own doing, the people they are based off of in real life function much like that.

Oh don't worry, he won't try that. Leastwise not without permission. ;)

Yeah, most of my characters tend to be lone wolves. I have very few that are sociable.

And being alone causes on to rely on themself more, so they learn to cover their own weaknesses. It's all in who the character is that determines so much of this. You can't really change one aspect without changing more. And my demon god is nearly ready. Mond should prove interesting.

Ok, here's what I've got. I've never created something this powerful before, so please, point things out that could be improved.

Name: Mond
Race: One of the demonic gods. Below satan, but much stronger than the average demon.
Looks: Despite shape-shifting abilities, he remains fairly human-like. His skin looks permanently frost bitten and blue. His hair is snow white and frozen like ice, and he usually wears monk styled robes. Underneath the robes however, he wears very tight fitting combat gear and he also hides various weapons, though they are rarely used. Mond is extremely strong and his body looks every bit of it. His lips are near white and his eyes are steel grey.
Bio: He's an outcast in Hell. Mond is a god of the moon and night so the heat in Hell isn't one of his favorite things around. That hasn't stopped him from creating his own region where he's free from the heat the rest of the world suffers though. Mond was driven deep into hiding during one of many uprisings and now wants to claim a spot in Lucifer's highest honers again by helping in the fight for the Garden.
Weapons: Though rarely used, he carries a sword at all times. Throwing knives are an occasional extra.
Powers: Can convert humans to his lunar demons once they're twisted enough (simple to do with enough lying and logic twisting), power over the moon and the heavens, some ice magic and some water magic. Shape-shifting to blend in is almost never used and he can summon his minions at will.

You'd be surprised.

As of now, not much. Gas and maybe a night out with the girlfriend every once in a while. It's for 2 years from now when I'm in college and trying to pay tuition, books, ect.

Well, its good to know that some kids still harbor thoughts of college. Most of my students think college would be a waste of time.

That's odd considering that only 2 of our graduating class of 80 something (this year's seniors) didn't have plans for college. I know that a lot of my class thinks they're getting in for sports scholarships though. It'll almost be fun to see their hopes get dashed when they realize just how hard it is to get that full ride to college that they want. I'm sure someone will get a good deal for sports, but most won't.

Holy frick! I thought I lived in a small town. Olivia's only got 5000 people in it and we had to combine two school districts into one about 15 years ago just to make BOLD that big. If memory serves there are about 70 in the class of 2010 (my class) and we're the biggest group aside from this year's graduating seniors. I support your hope though that parents will bully them into college. Unless they all REALY want to head to the nearest metro area and try to be chief fry cook ay McDonalds.

Ouch. Well, Olivia has 2.3 square miles officially incorporated into it's city limits and I can walk to school from my house. I suppose if you're big enough to have a "bad side of town" you're big enough to not whine too much. Still though, most of the students in Minnesota are OUTSIDE the metro areas, and yet more than half the tax money spent on education is in the metro areas. Do you see a problem? Especially when we're cutting EVERY business class we have, 2 of the 4 ITV classes (and the next 2 after next year), and we don't have enough money (for about 20 years running now) to get new materials for our health department (obviously Phy Ed and Health classes and the like are included in that).

Really? Just do what we do. Pour entirely too much money into health and field trips, then complain about not having money for books or paper. :p

Ah, well we can't go on field trips much. In fact, the music trip seniors take to Chicago can no longer be supported by the regular school funds (we used to take a little money from there and put it into the music booster's account to help pay the way). Now we have to do 3 fundraisers a year, and we still don't end up with enough. Besides, we have a sepeerate text book fund and we could only afford to by 30 rolls of tape for about 60 staff members that need it. And most teachers are now buying dry erase markers out of their own money. To top it off, our business teacher was offered to be kept on at part time, but you can't live off the part time they'd pay you.

We're supposed to be limited to 32 people in a class room: 30 students, 1 teacher, 1 student teacher/ student teaching assistant. My English class alone has 33 STUDENTS and the school administration wonders why we have a hard time finding subs for that class. Then again, the normal teacher for that class has Amyloidosis, so we get Ms. Severson, AGAIN! She's actually a nice teacher though, I had her all of 7th grade, 1/3 of 8th when the English had a baby, and now 10th grade. Hmm, I kinda see a pattern forming...

With us, the biggest of grades has around 18 students per class. I once had a class with 20, and I thought I would have a heart attack.

Oh wow. I've only had 2 classes in my whole life under 20 students in size. The first was last year when our F.A.C.S. class was about 10 students in size. Then we have 15 this year in French I.

Also, my internet connection is growing more and more sporadic and it's not liking Jolt one bit. If I stop replying for a while, just know I'll get back to replying when I can.

Two options.
1. Nationstates is one of the few things that you can do online that are for people who want to have discussions with other people, usually with gov. Therefore, we are smarter people, and small town people are smarter.

OR....

2. Small town people have nothing better to do in their dinky small town.

Cause there's nothing else to do until thursday when we go out partying to celebrate the end of the school year. Of course, it's hard to party when nobody invites you to anything. Which happens to me EVERY YEAR.

And yes teach, we'll remember to not drink and drive. And just for you, we'll stay away from the alcohol period. ;)

lol, everything you said was true. Except at the end of the year, i usually have a party of my own with my friends. which, granted, isn't exactly the cool group. But we aren't the nerds either. I'm pretty much accepted everywhere, but only really wanted with the group i hang with.

Heh... Actually, alchohol and whatnot don't bother me. Its sorta the reason I don't teach college anymore. Turns out the guys up top don't like it when theres a proffesor at a co-ed party thats not in a co-ed dorm. Specially when hes so drunk he can't walk straight.... But, if anyone asks, I don't know that from personal experience. I'm just guessing. ;)

Ah, of course. personally, I don't get drunk, and I don't know if i ever will. I won't plan on it anyway. I'll sip a wine or something at family reunions, but thats it.

Ah, I've had alcohol twice. Once at my cousin's wedding and once at Thanksgiving last year. And both times I ended up being the DESIGNATED DRIVER. Yup, my family's that crazy. Of course, it was just little tastes and I had many hours in between.

Oh it's just awesome. I plan to sign up next year for most of the day to be the grim reaper. I only had an hour this year cause I had to job shadow that day. We always trick or treat at our teacher's houses cause they have the best treats. :p I used to live above one of the English teachers and I'd wake up the next morning with toilet paper in the tree and crap (sometimes literally) on the windows.

Satan got the key to the Garden from Aozora and then brought us all there. Now Angron fought us and left, and after some fun, we're getting back to business. Also, we're preparing for the war to end all wars: The one for the Garden of Eden. Mond, Typhon, Angron, and Lucifer are the four bad guys we have so far, and that should suffice for a while I think.
