Ritsuko: Well unless I went to the Pennyworths and asked them for money, I don't think anyone else would just hand me that kind of money... What can I... Ah! I can't believe I'm going to do this... ::she puts the phone back up to her ear:: Are you still there? Yeah, I was wondering if you'd take collateral for the car untill I have access to the funds again. It shouldn't be too long. I have a souped up ::cringes:: T-74 tank that I'd be... willing... to part with. Is there anyway you can do something like that? Even if it just knocks down the price? Boy, I'm probably being really annoying right now aren't I? I'm sorry...

::The Dubelcan man smacks his forehead::

"Hmmm, I'm not really sure on our policy on such transactions, let me put my supervisor on the phone," the lieutenant replied before handing the receiver off to a short, thin man with glasses.

::Ritsuko looks over at the Dubelcan man and turns back to the phone::

Ritsuko: Hello! My name is General Ritsuko Yamamoto, the military advisor in Henceland Omega, or at least I was untill a little bit ago. Recently, terrorists came in and took power, kidnapping the entire government. I know for a fact that I can rescue them if I have the right equipment. Once I infiltrate their hideout and set the Holy Emperor free, things will be back to normal and we'll get your payment. But for now, all I have is my T-74 tank.

Man: You know, you're basically asking this guy to get involved in your problem.

Ritsuko: No I'm not! ::she turns back to the phone:: I know it seems a little odd, but in the best interests of my home, all of the LETI region, and HO's friends, Holy Emperor Corran must be restored!

The man then took the recording being made of the phone call, gave it to an aide, and told him to rush to the Ministry. Thirty minutes later the reply came back in the form of a single, typed sheet:

"Alright, it appears your request is approved...hell, more than approved. We'll begin construction right away, and you need not worry about your tank; you may keep it. Is there anything else you require?"

::Ritusko's eyes widen. She turns to the Dubelcan man::

Ritsuko: Hey Task. You're not going to believe this. Not only are they giving me the car, they don't want to take my tank. And they said they'd give us anything else. What do you think we'll really need?

Task: Anything? What is this place? Is it a business, or did you guys have something else going on with them?

Ritsuko: No! We were just regulars with them. My guess is that since terrorism exists everywhere, they're being compassionate to our situation. That and I'm sure they'll get more business and a nice donation when we succeed. So what do you want?

Task: I have everything I need.

Ritsuko: ::turns back to the phone:: Well, I might need some C4 to get into or out of the complex if you have that. Other than that, we're good. Heh, unless you have a great government mercenary who cares to help us! Ha ha! ::Task glares at Ritsuko, who begins to twirl her red ponytail as she talks excitedly::

Task: Do they know where Slotter's hideout it?

Ritsuko: Probably not. They've never been involved in LETI affairs before.

Task: You're not serously asking them for a mercenary are you?

Ritsuko: ::ignores him:: Thank you guys sooooo much! You've been ever so helpful!

This might have been asked before, but how does the hovercarrier operate on land? I thought that even hovercraft - at least modern hovercraft as I understand it - operate on water. I don't see how they could operate on land, much less bumpy terrain...

I'm no expert, but I believe hovercrafts are capable of land movement (I know for a fact that they can drive up on shores). The only requirements (again, I think) are that the terrain has to be cleared and relatively smooth and flat. It shouldn't make any difference whether its over water or land (physics are physics). Now, is an actual hovercarrier logical? No, its for more future tech RP's/just fun RP's.

I prefer Elessars to Nimitzes personally, because they're slightly larger and offer more variety as to the type of aircraft capable of being held on board. Also, the new forums won't let me edit the stats for the Elessar, but they are incorrect. It has four aircraft elevators and four launches: two ski jump and two catapult, in addition to the various helipads, etc.
