Theao
24-06-2005, 21:34
"Alright." Victor went back to his book.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
24-06-2005, 21:45
"Just thought I'd hang out here for a while," he replied.
Theao
24-06-2005, 22:01
"And what do you intend to do while you 'hang out'?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
24-06-2005, 22:08
Rube chuckled to himself. "The point is to not have a plan kid."
Theao
25-06-2005, 00:16
"Perhaps one of the advantages of semi-immortality. I, even when doing nothing, find something to do." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
25-06-2005, 13:32
"Sometimes something comes along," Rube said, eyeing up a group of shoppers that passed them.
Theao
25-06-2005, 16:32
"Perhaps, but it is better to be active than idle." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
25-06-2005, 22:14
Rube chuckled. "You can't always be active kid," he said. "Especially when there is a whole night ahead of you."
Theao
26-06-2005, 00:34
"Possibly, but activity is still better than sloth." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
26-06-2005, 00:41
Rube raised an eyebrow, "So you think I'm a sloth kid?" he questioned him.
Theao
26-06-2005, 00:43
"Since I don't know you I can't say your a sloth, but I can say you are being slothful at the present time." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
26-06-2005, 00:52
"I've just come from Caer Chan Caddug, can't see a sloth doing that kid," Rube pointed out.
Theao
26-06-2005, 00:57
"And that location means nothing to me, it could be just around the corner or miles away." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
26-06-2005, 15:07
"You've been there kid, remember?" Rube said pointing at the ground.
Theao
26-06-2005, 17:48
"And why were you there?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
26-06-2005, 21:03
"The sun was out topside," Rube told him.
Theao
26-06-2005, 22:35
"Ah." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
26-06-2005, 22:42
"That'll teach me to live in a flat with no sewer access," Rube remarked.

He adjusted his hat before lighting up another cigarette.
Theao
26-06-2005, 22:52
"Why don't you get one then?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
26-06-2005, 22:56
Rube chuckled. "Just an inconveniance, I'm usually home before dawn," he said. "Besides I'm too comfortable there."

Behind them, a closed sign appeared in the door of the bookshop.
Theao
26-06-2005, 22:59
"Then why not get some renovations done?" He asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
26-06-2005, 23:01
"I'm not on the ground floor," Rube pointed out.
Theao
26-06-2005, 23:07
"I'm sure you could mind-warp the owner into doing it." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
26-06-2005, 23:13
"Can't mind-warp him," Rube replied.
Theao
26-06-2005, 23:28
"He a vampire?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
26-06-2005, 23:30
"No, paid a mage to put up a barrier around his mind," Rube explained. "Keeps out outside influence."
Theao
26-06-2005, 23:32
"Then why not bribe or pay him to?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
26-06-2005, 23:37
"You think I haven't done that kid?" Rube said, shaking his head. "Being a vampire doesn't mean I'm dumb."
Theao
26-06-2005, 23:40
"If you've paid him, then why wouldn't he do it?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
26-06-2005, 23:43
Rube shook his head. "Kid, let this be a lesson to you, not everyone takes bribes or any kind of money offers."
Theao
27-06-2005, 00:15
"I'm sure if you put your mind to it you could find a way." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
27-06-2005, 15:12
"It's only a bother if I'm late," Rube shrugged and puffed out a breath of smoke. "Besides I have people I can stay with."
Theao
27-06-2005, 17:54
"Alright." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
27-06-2005, 21:02
"Well things to do, places to go, people to meet," Rube then said.

He tipped his hat and walked off.
Theao
27-06-2005, 21:14
"Well maybe we'll meet later, but for now bye." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
27-06-2005, 21:19
Rube carried on walking and soon disappeared from sight.
Theao
27-06-2005, 21:21
Victor goes back to reading, thought this time it was a novel rather than a mytho/religious book. He also popped the top of one of the vials of red liquid and drank it down, before putting it back in it's case.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
27-06-2005, 21:33
"The kids oblivious to everything going on around him," Rube said as he sat down on a bench on the opposite side of the shopping centre.

Soran emerged from a shop. "Told you so," he said. "Dhampir's are all the same, they put revenge ahead of actually being intelligent. If they were smarter they'd be alot more likely to survive."
Theao
27-06-2005, 22:05
Victor booked mark his book and headed out, looking for a taco stand.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
27-06-2005, 22:18
After some searching he found a taco stand.
Theao
27-06-2005, 22:46
He ordered a couple tacos.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
27-06-2005, 23:00
The man quietly handed over a couple of tacos. "That'll be £1.98," he said.
Theao
27-06-2005, 23:05
Victor pulls out a £1 and £2 coin and hand's them to the man. "Keep the change." He said as he took the tacos and started walking away.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
27-06-2005, 23:12
The man just shook his head and put the cash in the till before dealing with another customer.
Theao
27-06-2005, 23:17
Victor ate as he wandered.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
27-06-2005, 23:23
Some shops had closed, but some were still open. The shopping centre crowd had of course thinned out, but there were a few suspicious people around. They included a familiar silver-haired girl arguing with someone.
Theao
27-06-2005, 23:30
Victor took a seat on a nearby bench to watch her as he finished his first taco.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
27-06-2005, 23:38
Kethoro took out a stake and the man she had been arguing with exploded into dust, the stake burst into flames and she was forced to drop it. Turning around, she saw Victor and glared at him.
Theao
27-06-2005, 23:47
Victor returned her glare with a 'What'd I do' look.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
27-06-2005, 23:53
"You again," she growled. "You are with them."
Theao
27-06-2005, 23:56
"I'm with who? I'm not a member of the vampire community." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
27-06-2005, 23:59
"You're always being friendly with them and you've been seen on cctv with one of the Gunn brothers," she replied.
Theao
28-06-2005, 00:13
"I'm friendly with you, them and Loki. I'm not prejudiced as to who I talk with. If you remember the incident in the tunnel were we fought the vampire, was I not fighting them and did I not slay a number. Likewise, if you and your kin attacked me, I would defend myself. Do you suggest I ignore them and shun them for circumstantial evidence from a source who's family want's to use me as bait?" Victor asked, his voice completely level.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
28-06-2005, 15:11
"Do you have any idea how many people the Gunn brothers have killed over the last few centuries?" Kethoro questioned him. "No, of course you don't. You never ever be friendly with vampires like that. You want proof of their deeds that don't come from my family then go to a library."
Theao
28-06-2005, 20:42
"Would you mind showing me the records you speak of?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
28-06-2005, 23:06
Kethoro checked an inside pocket for something. "To prove you wrong, sure," she said and began to walk off.
Theao
28-06-2005, 23:08
"And if I am incorrect, I will apologise." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
28-06-2005, 23:11
"Hmph," Kethoro muttered as she headed outside the shopping centre and into the street outside and headed in the direction of the library.
Theao
28-06-2005, 23:15
"So what was with the vampire you were talking to?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
28-06-2005, 23:21
"Doing my job," Kethoro replied.
Theao
28-06-2005, 23:24
"I figured that out, but why were you talking to him rather than just killing him?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
28-06-2005, 23:29
"Trying to get info from him," she replied.
Theao
28-06-2005, 23:30
"What kind of info?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
28-06-2005, 23:35
"You really are nosy aren't you," Kethoro remarked.
Theao
28-06-2005, 23:36
"And there's a problem with curiosity?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
28-06-2005, 23:43
"It is when your're friendly with the enemy," Kethoro told him.
Theao
28-06-2005, 23:48
"I'm also somewhat friendly with you and your family, yet I asked the vampire questions." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
28-06-2005, 23:58
"So?" Kethoro replied, glaring at him. "That just means fuck all."
Theao
29-06-2005, 00:06
"It means just because I ask questions, doesn't mean I share information." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
29-06-2005, 00:10
"Well we have ne reason to believe you won't share the info," Kethoro pointed out.
Theao
29-06-2005, 00:12
"If that's how you feel, it's no lose to me." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
29-06-2005, 15:11
Kethoro just rolled her eyes and carried on walking.
Theao
29-06-2005, 18:58
Victor followed her, keeping an eye out for any unusual activity or people.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
29-06-2005, 19:59
Soon they arrived at a rather large, old looking building that was dark against the sky. Through heavy iron gates, rusted with time and weather, Kethoro pushed them open with a loud creek and entered an overgrown area just in front of large oak doors. She gave Victor a stare as if to tell him to close the gates.
Theao
29-06-2005, 20:08
Victor shut the gates with a loud screech and followed Kethoro. "This doesn't really look like a library."
Draconis Nightcrawlis
29-06-2005, 20:19
"Most libraries look like buildings like this one does," she pointed out.

Pushing open the heavy oak doors, she walked inside. There was a marble hallway that looked as though it had not been cleaned in years. Silently she set off down the long hallway.
Theao
29-06-2005, 20:37
"It looks a little more run down than most libraries I've seen." Victor replied as he followed.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
29-06-2005, 20:52
"Thats because people never really go to libraries anymore," Kethoro replied. "They can't afford to employ cleaners, besides its only them who come here."
Theao
29-06-2005, 21:11
"Then what do people do for books, or is reading a dieing skill?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
29-06-2005, 21:19
"People use computers now," Kethoro told him.
Theao
29-06-2005, 21:26
Victor just shook his head.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
30-06-2005, 00:02
Kethoro pushed open a door and headed into a darkened room. Along every wall were rows upon rows of dusty old books. There was no way to tell from looking if they were fiction or non-fiction, let alone what the different sections were.

Kethoro looked around for a moment.
Theao
30-06-2005, 00:06
"This really is a sorry looking library." Victor commented
Draconis Nightcrawlis
30-06-2005, 00:29
"And you're an idiot," Kethoro groaned.
Theao
30-06-2005, 00:35
"I come form a place where computers are rampant as well, but even the worst library is in better shape than this place." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
30-06-2005, 00:37
"And you're probably exaggerating," Kethoro said. "This isn't a public library."

She pulled a book from the nearest shelf, it was dusty but still in pretty good condition.
Theao
30-06-2005, 00:43
"They are all dust free, and computers are at least one per house on average." Victor replied, "Is that the record book?"
Draconis Nightcrawlis
30-06-2005, 00:49
"Like I said this isn't a public library," Kethoro said, putting the book back.
Theao
30-06-2005, 00:55
"Is it your families library? I was under the impression it was a public one." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
30-06-2005, 01:00
"No, it's the Kings library," Kethoro told him. "My families library is at the family home."
Theao
30-06-2005, 01:09
"Ah, so it that the proof book?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
30-06-2005, 01:20
"No," she replied, putting the book back.
Theao
30-06-2005, 01:21
"Then what was it, if you don't mind me asking?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
30-06-2005, 01:24
"It was about dragons," Kethoro said.

She began looking around trying to think where the book that she needed was.
Theao
30-06-2005, 01:42
"Ah." Victor replied, "If you could tell me where the book might be I'll help look."
Draconis Nightcrawlis
30-06-2005, 01:50
"Somewhere in this room," Kethoro said. "I'm afraid in the eight years since the kings death, no one has been able to keep everything in order."
Theao
30-06-2005, 01:56
"Do you know the title?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
30-06-2005, 02:00
"It should have Gunn brothers in the title, if not look for a book on notorious vampires," she told him.
Theao
30-06-2005, 02:07
Victor began looking for a book with one of the possible titles.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
30-06-2005, 02:09
"It's your father that you are looking for isn't it?" Kethoro asked as she began to look through the book titles.
Theao
30-06-2005, 02:10
"Yes, why?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
30-06-2005, 15:20
"Perhaps you might find something about him in one of these books," Kethoto told him.
Theao
30-06-2005, 18:14
"I might, thought he tries to avoid leaving a paper trail, commonly the only proof his been there is in peoples memory." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
30-06-2005, 23:24
"People have a tendancy to write things down," Kethoro replied.
Theao
30-06-2005, 23:27
"Those who've met him and try to write things down get affected by the vampire cosmic mind whammy. He's odd like that." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
30-06-2005, 23:33
"Some people aren't afected by vampire mind warping," Kethoro replied, looking throught the titles of as many books as possible.
Theao
30-06-2005, 23:39
"True, that's why there is some writtened information with him, thought not much." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
30-06-2005, 23:48
"Fucking disorganised mess," Kethoro swore, slamming her fist against the books. So far she had found no vampire books.
Theao
01-07-2005, 00:15
"Like you said, no ones been here in a long time." Victor replied as he continued searching.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
01-07-2005, 00:29
Kethoro cursed that fact. Just as soon as Prince Kurt assumed his rightful place as King of Draconis Nightcrawlis then everything would be back to normal again. Somewhere within the library came the sound of chanting.
Theao
01-07-2005, 00:37
Hearing the chanting Victor turned to Kethoro, "We are allowed to be here right, and do you know who's chanting and why?" He asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
01-07-2005, 00:50
"Yes I'm allowed to come here," Kethoro replied. "I don't know what the chanting is all about."
Theao
01-07-2005, 01:16
"Alright." Victor replied, partially eased and continued to search.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
01-07-2005, 01:25
Kethoro looked up as the chanting got louder, but tried to think nothing of it. It was actually beginning to creep her out.
Theao
01-07-2005, 01:27
"That chanting is getting on my nerves, should we investigate?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
01-07-2005, 01:29
"Well I have no idea what it's all about," Kethoro admitted. "Something tells me I might not want to know."
Theao
01-07-2005, 01:35
"If it could be something illegal or vile, wouldn't you be partially obligated to investigate and/or stop it?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
01-07-2005, 01:38
"Not really, if it was in any other place," Kethoro said. "But since this is the kings library."

She drew her sword and headed for the exit.
Theao
01-07-2005, 01:39
Victor thrust his hands in his pockets and followed Kethoro.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
01-07-2005, 01:45
Outside, Kethoro looked down the darkened hallway. Listening to the chanting she headed off into the darkness.

"This way," she told him.
Theao
01-07-2005, 01:47
Victor followed, gazing throught the gloom for anything unusual.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
01-07-2005, 14:24
Somewhere down the marble hallway, they could see a torch burning. The eiree chanting still filled the air, making Kethoro somewhat unsure about this.

"It's coming from that behind door," she said, remembering there was a doorway down there.
Theao
01-07-2005, 16:34
"Do you want to take point or should I?" Victor asked in a low voice.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
01-07-2005, 18:47
Kethoro said nothing as she walked forward. She stopped in front of the door and listened for a moment, the chanting continued.
Theao
01-07-2005, 19:48
Victor let her take point, taking a counter-point on the other side of the doorway while she listened throught it.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
01-07-2005, 22:37
Slowly she opened the door and entered, making sure that she was as quiet as possible. They were in another room filled with books. As to the source of the chanting, nothing. Now there was only silence.

"Shit," Kethoro swore.
Theao
01-07-2005, 22:39
'What is it?" Victor asked, as he became somewhat more tense.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
01-07-2005, 22:46
"It's nothing," she replied. "Absolutely fuck all."
Theao
01-07-2005, 22:48
"Then where in blue blazes did the chanting come from?" Victor asked. annoyed at the mystery.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
01-07-2005, 22:56
"Who knows?" Kethoro shrugged. "Then again old buildings attract ghosts."
Theao
01-07-2005, 22:58
"Great, not more ghosts." Victor muttered
Draconis Nightcrawlis
01-07-2005, 23:04
Kethoro looked over at him. "Ghosts are rather common in Draconis Nightcrawlis," she warned him.
Theao
01-07-2005, 23:09
"I prefere to keep my undead nice and corpreal." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
01-07-2005, 23:20
"The dead is only good when they stay dead and don't come back," Kethoro said, picking up a book from the nearest shelf. "Though they can be helpful sometimes."
Theao
01-07-2005, 23:30
"That make some sense." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
01-07-2005, 23:33
Kethoro then threw the book at Victor. On the front was an old looking picture of Rube and Jonas. "It details every known victim of theirs," she told him.
Theao
01-07-2005, 23:38
Victor began leafing throught the book.

ooc: painted/drawn/photocopy of one of prior pics or photographed pic?
Draconis Nightcrawlis
01-07-2005, 23:48
OOC: Photograph.

IC:

"You see, they didn't just kill their victims they tortuered them," Kethoro told him. "Thousands of them and they enjoyed it, often recording footage of the torture."
Theao
01-07-2005, 23:51
"It may be cultural differences, but I have to doubt these, as every vampire sub-set I've ever meet have never appeared on film." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
02-07-2005, 00:11
"Vampires can be captured on film," Kethoro replied. "Here anyway."
Theao
02-07-2005, 00:13
"Another oddity." Victor replied, "If that's true, then they are fairly dispicable, thought I'm having trouble reconciling thier persona in this book, and what they were like in person."
Draconis Nightcrawlis
02-07-2005, 00:19
"Because they act all nice, it's to throw you off the scent," Kethoro told him.
Theao
02-07-2005, 00:25
"That could be it." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
02-07-2005, 00:30
"Of course," Kethoro told him. "They'll pretend to be nice to you and the next thing you know they're pulling your intestines out through your dick."
Theao
02-07-2005, 00:32
"Painful sounding and impossible, so who wrote this book?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
02-07-2005, 00:37
"It was writen by Professor Elend Bräck," Kethoro told him.
Theao
02-07-2005, 00:39
"And how credible is he?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
02-07-2005, 00:41
"Very, he's headmaster at the Nocturne Academy," Kethoro explained.
Theao
02-07-2005, 00:46
"That doesn't tell me anything, basically has he personally witnessed any of thse tortures?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
02-07-2005, 00:53
"So you still think they saints then?" Kethoro replied, rolling her eyes.
Theao
02-07-2005, 00:59
"No, just want proof it's not a trick or somesuch. I believe they may be guilty, but circumstantial evidence is insufficiant to convict." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
02-07-2005, 01:03
"Then read the fucking book properly then," she growled at him. "It lists all the evidence collected, even cctv footage."
Theao
02-07-2005, 01:08
"Without knowing how credible the author is, it's pretty hard to trust a single source, regardless of how well it is done, or how many possibly fictional references used." Victor replied "It could be the author has a grudge against them and this whole book is fiction."
Draconis Nightcrawlis
02-07-2005, 01:13
Kethoro grabbed the book at put it back on the shelf before leaving the room.
Theao
02-07-2005, 01:33
Victor simply shook his head while thinking "She's been so conditioned that any possible objection to her world view sets her off." He then takes the book off the shelf and begins a more in-depth examination.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
02-07-2005, 19:05
"No, she's just pissed off because you're an idiot," a ghostly voice told him.
Theao
02-07-2005, 22:21
"Would you mind showing your self?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
03-07-2005, 15:02
"I am showing myself, I'm just stood behind you," the ghost replied.
Theao
03-07-2005, 17:49
"Ghosts, great." Victor replied as he turned to face the voice.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
04-07-2005, 16:00
The ghost was that of a young boy, perhaps only ten when he died. He stared at Victor intently.
Theao
04-07-2005, 17:09
"So what are you doing, my ghostly friend?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
04-07-2005, 21:12
"Haunting," he said. "I'm a ghost, what else would I be doing."
Theao
04-07-2005, 21:32
"And who are you haunting, and why?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
04-07-2005, 21:38
"I'm haunting this library because I have nothing else to do," he replied. "It's what us ghosts do."
Theao
04-07-2005, 21:40
"And why are you a ghost?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
04-07-2005, 21:49
"I was killed by a vampire," he said. Pointing at the book Victor had in his hands, he added, "My names in that book."
Theao
04-07-2005, 21:55
"What's your name then?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
04-07-2005, 22:00
"Alex," he said. "Alex Persson."
Theao
04-07-2005, 22:08
"It's a pleasure to meet you. I would shake your hand, but..." Victor trailed off as he began looking up Alex in the book.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
04-07-2005, 22:12
"But you think your hand will go straight through mine," Alex said and hit Victor in the shoulder. It hit just like any non-ghost person would.
Theao
04-07-2005, 22:18
"Another oddity." Victor said as he offered his hand to the ghost.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
04-07-2005, 22:24
Alex took a step back, he looked hurt. "I am not an oddity."
Theao
04-07-2005, 22:32
"I meant an oddity that I've found in DN. Ghosts from other countries are not solid." Victor replied "I'm sorry if I offended you."
Draconis Nightcrawlis
04-07-2005, 22:49
Alex just crossed his arms and stayed silent.
Theao
04-07-2005, 22:52
"I apologised, what more do you want?" Victor asked
Theao
04-07-2005, 22:58
"I apologised, what more do you want?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
05-07-2005, 14:10
"Everyone calls me an oddity," he said.
Theao
05-07-2005, 19:27
"I'm sorry for calling you an oddity. So what do you do while you aren't haunting people?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
05-07-2005, 19:34
"Nothing, can't leave the library so I'm always haunting," Alex replied.
Theao
05-07-2005, 19:58
"Do you read the books?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
05-07-2005, 20:03
"All the time," Alex replied, placing his hands behind his head.
Theao
05-07-2005, 20:05
"What is your favorite type of book?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
05-07-2005, 20:09
"Why do you care?" Alex replied.
Theao
05-07-2005, 20:14
"I'm curious." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
05-07-2005, 20:17
"Oh, so now I'm a curiosity," Alex scowled.
Theao
05-07-2005, 20:24
"Not at all, i'm just curious of almost everything in this odd country." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
05-07-2005, 20:27
"And now we're back at oddity," Alex pointed out.
Theao
05-07-2005, 20:29
"It's nothing personal, this country just seems to violate the way things work in other countries." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
05-07-2005, 20:31
"The only oddity here is you, you're not normal," Alex replied.
Theao
05-07-2005, 20:35
"That's most likely true. If you all seem wierd to me, I would naturally seem wierd to you." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
05-07-2005, 20:43
Alex just rolled his eyes. "Then get off your high horse and stop being such an arsehole towards others then," he told him.
Theao
05-07-2005, 20:44
"And how was I being and asshole?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
05-07-2005, 20:47
"An arsehole," Alex corrected. "An ass is a donkey. You're always acting all high and mighty towards other people because you feel inferior."
Theao
05-07-2005, 20:48
"And you believe I have an inferiority complex, why?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
05-07-2005, 20:50
"Because you're a dhampir," Alex said. "That's why your kind go after your vampiric parent."
Theao
05-07-2005, 20:55
"We do not go after our parent because of an inferiority complex." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
05-07-2005, 20:59
"Course you do, because you're ashamed of who you are," Alex replied.
Theao
05-07-2005, 21:05
"And you get that bit of bat-shit how?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
05-07-2005, 21:11
"I can read minds," Alex smirked.
Theao
05-07-2005, 21:15
"Obviously you can't, as dhampir are immune to all that sort of stuff, telepathy, mental domination, ect." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
05-07-2005, 21:21
Alex just laughed. "Ghosts can," he replied.
Theao
05-07-2005, 21:24
"Then what am I thinking? And just because you can read normal peoples minds, doesn't mean you can read my mind. Dhampir are immune to that shit, from anyone." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
05-07-2005, 21:26
"Course I can because I'm on a different plane of existance, your immunity doesn't work on my plane," Alex replied.
Theao
05-07-2005, 21:32
"Then what am I thinking?" Victor asked, a sneer in his voice, but not on his face.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
05-07-2005, 21:37
OOC: Can't say without godmodding your character.
Theao
05-07-2005, 21:47
ooc: Just have him 'try', because he'll fail. He might have a better chance to guess/get the answer, but outright TP would fail
Draconis Nightcrawlis
05-07-2005, 21:50
OOC: He can read his mind via accessing it from the other plane of existance.
Theao
05-07-2005, 22:18
ooc: he could read soul, not mind, the mind is only in the material dimension, and can only be reached from the material dimension.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
05-07-2005, 22:23
OOC: There is a connection between soul and mind.
Theao
05-07-2005, 22:26
ooc: Don't get into that philisophical and theological nightmare.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
05-07-2005, 22:31
OOC: So you going to accept it or are you just going to claim his mind is impregnable.
Theao
05-07-2005, 22:41
ooc: Mind impenatrable.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
05-07-2005, 22:48
OOC: Everythings penetrable some way or another.
