"You really have to stop picking up weirdo's Keth," Tavan told his sister.
Kethoro glared at him. "I didn't pick him up," she protested.
Victor continued searching for a mall.

Kethoro sighed as she looked at her moble. "Vampires in the Hall of Guilds Shopping Centre again," she said. "Come on lets go, a trio of us should suffice."
Victor glanced up at a sign HoG Shopping Center. He decided that looked like a nice mall and headed toward the Center.

The Cyredathem trio stopped at the enterance to the shopping centre.
"Fuck, him again," Kethoro cursed. "Should have known he'd be involved."
Victor entered the mall and began window shopping.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
10-06-2005, 21:39
From somewhere within the shopping centre came a scream that echoed between the shops. The other shoppers briefly stopped what they were doing and looked around.
Kethoro drew her sword, "That's not good."
Hearing the scream, Victor stuck a hand into a pocket and headed toward the sound.

Kethoro and her brothers ran to a magic shop on the other side of the shopping centre down a dark alley. Inside, vampires seemed to be searching for something. The shop owner and a couple of customers were lying dead on the floor.
"Well look what we have here," Tavan said.
"Shit, Cyredathems," one of the vampires cursed.
Seeing the sliver haired trio, Victor pulled up short, he knew they were as likely to kill him as a vampire. He waited at the top of an escalator, if any vampire got out, they would get shot.
The Transylvania
10-06-2005, 22:15
Then a robed figure walked between Victor and the Cyredathems. Count JWolf had show Dru where his shuttle was and showed her how to get in. "Look at what we got here." said the Count as he threw his cloak off, reviling his armor. "A group of vampire hunters." With his light saber in his right hand, he wait for the hunters to make their move.

"Get them," a vampire yelled.
Kethoro held up a hand and a couple of vampires were electrocuted, turning them to dust. One vampire decided to run out of the store, but at the door he was struck by a flaming arrow and the fire spread over him.
Victor watching, said to himself, "Man, they're good."
Draconis Nightcrawlis
10-06-2005, 22:22
As soon as the lead vampire pulled out a sword, he was electrocuted.
"Should use gloves," Kethoro smirked. "Not much fun being only four."
Tavan put his own sword away. "Wonder what they were after," he muttered.

10-06-2005, 22:22
"Stupid vampires" said the Count. "Those idiots can't fight. Why did I want to help them?" He took of running towards Victor.....
Seeing a vampire coming toward him, Victor spun to face him, a pistol in each hand, pointing at the newcomer.

Kethoro knelt down beside the store owner. "Shame," she said. "Being a magic shop owner in Exetergrecia is pretty dangerous."
Tavan began to look around to see what was out of place. That would be had to do since it looked pretty trashed.
The Transylvania
10-06-2005, 22:37
Seeing a vampire coming toward him, Victor spun to face him, a pistol in each hand, pointing at the newcomer.
Another hunter, I see. said the Count to himself. Then he stopped and looked at Victor. "You with them or you an outsider?"
"Do I have silver hair, am I human, and I down there? No, I'm not with them." Victor replied keeping both pistols trained on the vampire.
The Transylvania
10-06-2005, 22:44
"Then I bet you are going nuts because of this place." said the Count as he started probing his mind with the Force. "I will take off this planet, if you let me pass."
"And why should I trust you, the last time I took a vampire at his word, they tried to kill me."Victor replied as he kept the pistols trained on the vampire.

A few flaming arrows and the shop went up in flames. The Cyredathem trio were gone from the scene.

"And why should I trust you, the last time I took a vampire at his word, they tried to kill me."Victor replied as he kept the pistols trained on the vampire.
ooc: Dhampir are immune to mind-control and related things
"Because..." said the Count sounding clam then started sounding like a manic. "I'm not a ****ing vampire from this ****ing piece of **** planet." Then he clamed down and said "So, you can trust me. If not, I will get passed you someway."
"Then circle around, staying at that distance." Victor replied
The Transylvania
10-06-2005, 23:02
"Don't have to circle around you." said the Count. Then he used enoegh Force power to use a Dark side teleport. When it happened, an after image was left with black smoke around it. If Victor turned around, he would see the Count waving at him before walking out of the fornt doors of the mall.
Victor spun round and seeing the vampire leaving, pocketed one of the pistol, but kept the other tracked on the vampire till he was gone, then pocketed the other.

"How do you think Kurt's doing?" Temari asked as the ninja's trudged through the caverns.
"..." was Gaara's reply.
"Just as I thought," Temari said with a smirk.
Eamonn eyed them quietly.
Victor decided to go looking for a new mall as he doubted that people would be back for a while.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
11-06-2005, 00:56
The three vampire hunters went their separate ways after defeating the vampires in the magic shop. Kethoro headed home, Tavan headed back to the ramen noodle stall and Firiat headed off to the King Kurt I shopping centre. It was ten times the size of the other shopping centre.
Once outside Victor found a bookstore that happened to have a city map. From there he found a bigger shopping center. He headed toward the mall and seeing the sign board for the King Kurt I Shopping Center, headed in.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
11-06-2005, 01:04
Inside, Firiat headed for the nearest weapons shop that was hidden in the darkest depths of the shopping centre. He knew the owner, Damon, well and was always willing to try out his new stock.
"Afternoon son," the owner greeted.
Victor began looking for a information sign or information booth.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
11-06-2005, 01:14
There was a sign above Victor pointing to various shops.
Victor saw a sign for a weapons shop and headed toward it.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
11-06-2005, 01:30
"Here, this is the new Acme crossbow," Damon said, passing it to Firiat. "Just in this morning."
Firiat looked around at the crossbow and held it up. "I like it," he said.
Victor seeing a flash of silver hair in the store let out a low curse and plunked himself down on a nearby bench and pulled his hood up.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
11-06-2005, 01:45
The crossbow slipped and he accidently fired the arrow. "Whoops."
"I hope there isn't a vampire or dhampir outside," Damon remarked as it flew out the door. "It actively seeks them."
Victor saw the bolt and reacted, thought not fast enought as the bolt sliced a path along his leg. He cursed and drew out a cloth and vial, the cloth used to bind the wound, while he drank the vial. He then grabbed the bolt and stalked into the store.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
11-06-2005, 15:18
"Ah crap not him again," Fiarat scowled at the sight of Victor entering the shop. He still had the crossbow in hand.
Damon found it all rather funny.
"What in hell's name did you shoot me for?" Victor raged at the storekeep.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
11-06-2005, 15:26
"I didn't shoot you, he's the one with the crossbow," Damon pointed out.
Firiat scowled at him. "Fuck you, you never told me it was a vampire or dhampir seeking crossbow," he protested.
Victor turned on Firiat, "and what the hell where you doing playing with a loaded weapon?"
Draconis Nightcrawlis
11-06-2005, 15:36
"What do you think I'm fucking doing," Firiat yelled. "I'm testing it out."
"Ever heard of a firing range?" Victor yelled
Draconis Nightcrawlis
11-06-2005, 15:41
"Ever heard of fuck off you dhampiric wanker," Firiat replied.
"I don't think so, you are careless, arrogant and a menace. What if someone had walked between the bolt and me? They would be dead on your hands, making you no different that the vampire you hunt." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
11-06-2005, 15:48
"Actually you could fire it point blank at a non vampire and it'll miss," Damon pointed out.
"But would it miss if there was a vampire on the other side of the non-vampire?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
11-06-2005, 15:56
"Yes it would," the shop owner nodded.
"So if I was to stand directly behind him, and you fired that a foot away, if would miss?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
11-06-2005, 15:59
Damon nodded.
"You're slow on the uptake," Firiat remarked, rolling his eyes.
"I was checking the limitations of that, you idiot." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
11-06-2005, 16:20
"Slow on the uptake," Firiat scowled.
Damon sighed. "So anything else I can do for you?" he asked.
"At present, I'll be browsing." Victor replied, as he shot Firiat one last glare and moved into the store.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
11-06-2005, 16:36
Firiat scowled. "I'll take it," he then told the shop owner.
Damon smiled, "A wise choice kid," he said and flashed some kind of device into Firiats right eye.
Victor continued to examine the weapons of the store.
ooc: what kind of weapons are there?
Draconis Nightcrawlis
11-06-2005, 22:27
The range of weapons were the usual, guns, swords, crossbows, etc.
Damon watched Victor as Firiat began looking at the swords.
Victor picked up a sword and began to test it for balance, sharpness, grip and a few other qualities.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
11-06-2005, 22:43
"Anything of interest?" Damon asked.
"Not yet, do you make your weapons yourself?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
11-06-2005, 22:56
Damon chucked. "No, I just own the shop," he said.
"Do you have someone who knows anything about swords as I'm think certain this one is a piece of crap." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
11-06-2005, 23:06
"That's a demon slayer, looks are not everything," Damon told him.
"Maybe, but if whoever's using it misses and hits it up against the ground or a wall will break it." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
11-06-2005, 23:12
Firiat rolled his eyes.
"Here, pass it over," Damon suggested.
Victor flips it rounds and passes the hilt to Damon.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
11-06-2005, 23:39
Damon held it up and took a close look at it, especially at the blade.
"You're wrong, this blade is completely fine," he replied.
Raising it high above his head, he brought the sword crashing down on the floor. The shop shook and the dust flew, but the sword was intact and left a large crack in the floor.
"There, see more then meets the eye," he replied.
"Well it's made out of cast iron, rather than what it should be, it's still shoddy workmanship." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
11-06-2005, 23:44
"You been drinking?" Damon askred. "This is dwarven steel."
"Nope, and it is cast iron, at least on the inside." Victor replied with the air of someone who knew what he was talking about.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
11-06-2005, 23:57
"Just because I don't make the swords it doesn't mean I don't know anything about them, I keep close contact with the blacksmith who does," Damon replied, looking rather angry.
"I wouldn't listen to him, that dhampir thought the Gunn brothers were good vampires," Firiat laughed.
"Well I am a swordsmith and I now what I'm talking about, this sword is flawed, perhaps someone replaced the blade your friend made, I don't know, all I know is this is flawed, but as both you and your clients have a very low opinion of me, I'll leave you to your buisness." Victor replied as he turned and headed out.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
12-06-2005, 00:13
"What a wanker," Firiat replied.
Damon nodded. "Clearly knows nothing about swords if he thinks this that once belonged to Balder is flawed," he remarked. "Perhaps I should have told him."
Victor left the shop and decided to seek out a food court.
ooc: Balder never had weapons, he was the god of light, joy, purity, beauty, innocence, and reconciliation
Draconis Nightcrawlis
12-06-2005, 00:28
"Why, he's an idiot he wouldn't deserve it," Firiat replied.
There were some pizzarias and ramen stall.
OOC: Depends on who you ask.
Victor headed to a pizzaria.
ooc: I've never seen or read anything about Balder having weapons.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
12-06-2005, 00:51
The smell of pizza filled the air. There were already a few tables taken, but plenty of tables were free.
OOC: Never read anything that said he didn't.
Victor took a seat at a table along the wall.
ooc: true but when you're a god with the attributes Balder is suppose to have, weapons are highly unlikely.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
12-06-2005, 01:02
"And what would you like?" a tall blond man with a sadistic grin asked. He wore the pizzaria's uniform.
On the menu were most kinds of pizza.
OOC: A decorative weapon is still a weapon even if it's owner doesn't use it as one.
"Could I get a small pepperoni and bacon pizza?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
12-06-2005, 01:12
"Sure," he said, his sadistic looking grin widened and he walked off.
OOC: Off for now.
Victor waited for the pizza.
ooc: cya
Draconis Nightcrawlis
12-06-2005, 14:07
A few minutes later, the pizza appeared on the table in front of him as if by magic.
Victor waited till the server replied, "I've decided to take it with me so could I get a box?"
Draconis Nightcrawlis
12-06-2005, 23:25
The pizza was replaced by a pizza box.
"I meant a box to put the pizza in, not a box in exchange for the pizza." Victor muttered
Draconis Nightcrawlis
12-06-2005, 23:48
"The pizza is in the box,"
"Ah, so how much do I owe?" He asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
13-06-2005, 00:03
The blond man appeared in front of him, a sadistic smirk still on his face. "That'll be £4.99," he said.
Victor reached into his pocket and pulled out the money and a good tip(20%) and handed it to the man as he stood up.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
13-06-2005, 00:20
The blond man watched as he left. "There is more here then meets the eye Victor," he said.
Victor being paranoid of pizza man, began looking for a trash can.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
13-06-2005, 15:13
Of course being a shopping centre, there were plenty of bins around. The man watched with interest.
"That would be a waste of money Victor," he said.
"It's my money to waste and when I do not have faith in those that prepare the food, especially here where it seems the 'good guys' and the 'bad guys' are both trying to kill me, it's better safe than sorry." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
13-06-2005, 21:50
"Oh but I am a good guy," he replied. "Not like the Gunn brothers and definitely not the Cyredathems."
"Then would you care to explain?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
13-06-2005, 22:13
"Been watching you since The Red Cow," the man said. "I see something in you that makes you worthy of being my apprentice."
"And I would want to be your apprentice, why?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
13-06-2005, 22:28
"What everyone wants... power," he said.
"What many people may want, I have no intrest in power, other than what I have." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
13-06-2005, 22:37
"More power will help you find your father and his class," he then said.
"It may make it easier, but it will also devalue my quest." Victor replied, "So what's your name by the way?"
Draconis Nightcrawlis
13-06-2005, 22:47
"I've been called Ulysses, Hvedrung and sometimes Lopt," He smirked and folded his arms. "But you can call me Loki if you wish."
"Loki, son of Farbauti and Laufey, if I remember the Norse pantheon correctly. Why would a god be interest in aiding me?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
13-06-2005, 22:58
Loki chuckled. "Since you know who I am I'm surprised you would ask a quatestion like thats, it's all for selfish reasons though. Jokes, tricks and other deeds."
"I'm more interested in knowing who you are choosing to target in your games and what you intended for my role to be." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
13-06-2005, 23:15
"You probably already know who I intend to target," Loki said and put his hands in his pocket before walking off. "But I can tell your not interested in becoming my apprentice."
He began to whistle as he walked off.
"No, I'm more interested in how a normal person could be a god's apprentice." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
13-06-2005, 23:34
"Because other gods don't make good apprentices," Loki replied, still walking off.
"Typically an apprentice, after enought time becomes a master. A mortal, does not become a god after enought time." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
13-06-2005, 23:43
"You'd be wrong about that," Loki replied. He stopped walking and lit up a cigarette. "Word is, Prince Kurt could become a god one day. Maybe not soon but eventually, after all today is a time for a change."
"So what caused you to choose me as an apprentice and why are both sides out to get me?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
13-06-2005, 23:59
"Because I see the immense potential in you," Loki told him. "If you want the last question answered the best people to ask are the Norns themselves."
"What kind of thing would this apprenticeship entail?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
14-06-2005, 00:10
"Learning tricks of the trade, magic, weapons," Lokie replied, lighting up a second cigarette.
"Magick, that is something I couldn't use regardless. I am well versed in making weapons as well as using them. What would 'tricks of the trade' entail." Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
14-06-2005, 00:19
"Obviously nothing that would interest you since you don't want the magic or weapons," Loki replied. "You even passed up a powerful sword, so I guess I'll have to look elsewhere since you trust your own eyes too easily."
"I never said I didn't want the weapons, as to the magick, I simply can not use it. Not choose not to, can not." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
14-06-2005, 00:22
Loki sighed. "Didn't know that, I need someone that can use magic," he replied.
"Goodbye then, maybe we'll meet up later." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
14-06-2005, 00:28
"Maybe if you could learn not to trust your eyes and see a sword for what it really is," Loki said and gave a wave before disappearing.
Victor goes looking for a bookstore.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
14-06-2005, 02:42
There are a few bookstores around, including one near Damon's weapons shop.
Victor headed into the bookstore near the weapons shop and headed toward the sci-fi/fantasy section.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
14-06-2005, 03:01
The Sci Fi/Fantasy section was huge with books from all the best authors.
Victor began looking for a few authors that he liked.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
14-06-2005, 03:11
The shop owner watched him and a few other customers who were in the shop.
Victor picked-up a few of the SF/F books he knew he would enjoy, before heading to the mythos section.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
14-06-2005, 19:41
The shopkeeper quietly dealt with a customer.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
15-06-2005, 20:49
"May I be of help?" a young lady asked Victor.
The shop owner looked on.
"I'm looking for a few books on norse mythology." Victor replied, "Could you help me?"
Draconis Nightcrawlis
15-06-2005, 20:59
She looked at him slightly oddly. "Yes, that section is over there," she told him, pointing to a section.
"Thank you for your aid." Victor replied as he headed over to the indicated section. As he walked he mentally kicked himself as he thought "What would be in the mythos section everywhere else, would logically be in the religous section here."
Draconis Nightcrawlis
15-06-2005, 21:08
"Just ask if you need anything," she smiled.
"I will, thank you." Victor replied with a smile of his own.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
15-06-2005, 21:32
She nodded an went to work restocking shelves.
Victor began searching throught the books for ones he was looking for.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
15-06-2005, 21:39
The bookshop shook briefly causing worry amongst the customers. The owner pulled his glasses down and looked around.
Victor managed to find the books he wanted and headed to the counter.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
15-06-2005, 21:52
The owner rang up the bill and took the money from Victor. "Thank you, come again," he said.
Victor then headed to one of the benches in the shopping center and opened one of the mytho/religous books and looked up information on Ragnarok and Loki.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
15-06-2005, 22:04
Outside the shopping centre, thunder crashed against the sky. If Victor looked he'd have seen the rain coming down in sheets. It was fortunate that the bench was in a covered part of the shopping centre.
Victor looks up at the storm, "Nice night." He comments to himself.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
15-06-2005, 22:22
"That'll be the hunt," the bookshop assistant said, holding a cigarette in her hand. Looking at it, she smiled. "I'm not allowed to smoke in the shop."
Draconis Nightcrawlis
15-06-2005, 22:37
She nodded. "Thor's hunt," she said. "Read it up."
Victor looks it up, "Ah, so what do you do when not working?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
15-06-2005, 22:50
"I write," she replied, puffing out smoke. "So where you from? I picked out from your accent that you're not Draconian."
"I'm from a land known as Theao. So what do you write?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
15-06-2005, 22:59
"Romance," she shrugged.
"Harliquin?" Victor asked with a raised eyebrow.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
15-06-2005, 23:12
"Harliquin?" she asked.
"Harliquin romances. A style of writing romance novels." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
15-06-2005, 23:18
She just shrugged. "I just write what comes out really," she admitted. "Probably why I've never gotten anywhere."
"Do you write for profit or pleasure?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
15-06-2005, 23:26
"For now I just write for myself," she replied, stubbing out the cigarette. "What do you do?"
"I don't have a job." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
15-06-2005, 23:31
She raised an eyebrow. "Really?" she asked.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
16-06-2005, 19:33
"Well I'd better get back to work," she sighed and headed back inside as lightning crashed across the sky once more.
"Alright, perhaps I'll see you later." Victor replied and once she had returned to the store, he returned to his reading of the texts.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
16-06-2005, 19:55
She nodded and waited for a customer to leave before heading inside.
"So I hear you had problems with those Cyredathems," cam the familiar voice of a scruffy man.
"I did have some problems with them." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
16-06-2005, 22:19
"As expected from a family like that," came the reply.
"Thought I have had problems from others as well as a number of interesting meetings." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
16-06-2005, 22:28
"Well Draconis Nightcrawlis has been on a downward spiral ever since Lord Azazel took over," he replied. "So kid, what you doing out here?"
"Reading up on religion." Victor replied holding up the book.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
16-06-2005, 22:31
"Kid, all you need to know about religion is that it's a con," he said.
Cigarette smoke drifted past Victor.
"Possibly, but if you now how the 'con' as you put it is being run, you can use it to your advantage." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
16-06-2005, 22:44
"Oh but they're too powerful," he replied. "They aren't your run of the mill conartist."
"You could say that for any organisation thought." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
16-06-2005, 22:50
"But those 'organisations' aren't gods, kid," he pointed out.
"True, I've supposedly meet one of those 'gods'." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
16-06-2005, 22:55
"Loki, the one who brought vampirism into this world," he said, another cloud of smoke passed by.
"I take it you've been following me as well." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
16-06-2005, 23:02
"Bit hard to," he replied. "Too much sunlight."
"Then how come you know what I've been up to?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
16-06-2005, 23:12
"Because I've been wandering around the shopping centre kid," he replied. "Keeping out of any sunlight of course."
"Ah, so what do you want with me this time?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
16-06-2005, 23:29
"Just seeing how you were kid since I saw you were still in the area," he replied.
"Is that your only reason?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
17-06-2005, 19:04
"Expecting something more?" he asked.
"Shouldn't I?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
17-06-2005, 21:33
He chuckled and tipped his hat. "Perhaps you expected me to ask you for help or something," he replied.
"Are you going to?" Victor asked with a grin.

"No kid," he replied. "Thought you might need help getting those Cyredathem's off your back, looks like they've gone off anyway."
"If they come after me in earnest, I will make it seriously cost-inefficiant." Victor replied

"They're clever kid," he said. "Got to hand it to them they'd be dead long ago if they weren't."
"I am as well, if I wasn't I'd be long dead." Victor replied

"We all would," he smirked. "Thats the difference between us and the scientists in the old city below."
"They could have simply made a miscalculation, or sabatoge." Victor replied

17-06-2005, 22:53
"They were building an engine far beyond their level, it was stupidity on their part kid," he told him.
"Perhaps, but the Manhattan project was beyond cutting edge and they still managed." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
17-06-2005, 23:00
"Manhattan project kid?" he esked.
"Something on Old Earth, having to deal with the first nuclear weapons." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
17-06-2005, 23:06
"Pff nuclear," he replied. "If they messaed that up they would have deserved to snuff it."
"Something in similar situations thought." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
17-06-2005, 23:13
"A nuclear bomb is no where near the technical advancement of FTL," he replied. "Any nutcase could build a nuclear device and nuke a city."
"Anyone could do it Now, but back then, it was as advanced to the tech level then as FTL, was at the time of the explosion." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
17-06-2005, 23:24
"Kid your ignorence shows," he replied, a cloud of smoke drifted by him. "We had FTL back then, they tried to push it beyond its limits. FTL was not new."
"Close enought." Victor replied

"Hmph," he replied.
Overhead it was getting dark, the rain still coming down. Soon the vampires would be able to walk the streets freely in the darkness of the night.
"So what are you planning on doing, beside hiding in the shadows." Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
17-06-2005, 23:49
"Wait for the sun to completely go down," he replied.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
18-06-2005, 12:43
"What about you kid?" he asked.
"What about me?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
18-06-2005, 21:43
"What do you plan on doing?" he asked.
"For right now, reading my book." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
18-06-2005, 22:18
"Anything interesting?" he then asked.
"Just information on the local pantheon." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
18-06-2005, 22:31
"Hmph," he replied.
"It's interesting and enjoyable to read." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
18-06-2005, 22:42
"To each their own kid," he replied.
"In the vast majority of the rest of space this is considered fiction, here it's gospal, it's interesting examing the contrast." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
18-06-2005, 22:58
"Gospel iosn't the right word since gospel was based on nothing more then a few trying to control the masses through a fictional entity," he pointed out. "You mean elsewhere it would be considered a myth while here it is real."
"Exactly, thought in the sense I was using, gospel is perfectly valid as it stands for a religious text." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
18-06-2005, 23:00
"Not for any religious text," he replied.
"That's where we run into languistic conflicts." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
18-06-2005, 23:12
"Gospel has fuck all to do with the gods kid," he replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
18-06-2005, 23:43
A puff of cigarette smoke floated past him. "Those books won't change your understanding kid," he said. "You still think of them in myth."
"I never intended to change my beliefs, I intended to learn other peoples beliefs." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
18-06-2005, 23:56
He rolled his eyes at the ignorence. "Like I said, those books won't change your understanding," he repeated. "Those who gain info through books usually fail first. See with your eyes through experiance not through words."
"Books serve as windows when you can not be there in person." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
19-06-2005, 00:07
"Books or for those who refuse to see for themselves," he replied.
The lightning storm had cleared up, but the sky was still growing dark. In the shopping centre, the lights came on.
"Or can't." Victor replied as he glanced up at the lights.

"Speaking to someone who was there is better then reading a book," he said.
Rube finally stepped forward as the sun went down. Eyeing those near them in the shopping centre, he wore the same scruffy clothes as before. Evidently he didn't change and seemed to be chain smoking at the moment as he lit up another cigarette.
"In many cases you can't find someone who was there." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
19-06-2005, 00:25
"Depends who you ask, there are still eyewitnesses to when that Jesus fella got nailed to that cross around," Rube said with a somewhat strange smirk on his face.
"There are also many incidents where there weren't any observers, at least non still above ground." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
19-06-2005, 00:41
Rube looked towards the sky. "Stories in books are often changed," he replied. "What could tell you more about Loki, a book or someone who's met him?"
"But there in no way of ensuring that who ever you ask is telling the truth, they could be changing the story as well." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
19-06-2005, 00:52
"Thus seeing with your own eyes is the only way," Rube told him.
"Even then you can be tricked." Victor replied, "So how do you and the silver-haired hunters get along?"
Draconis Nightcrawlis
19-06-2005, 01:03
"How do you think we get along?" Rube scowled rather coldly at him. "They hunt me."
"And if they are to be believed, I should be hunting you as well." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
19-06-2005, 15:55
Rube chuckled. "Do you kid?" he asked.
"I don't entirely trust either of you, let's just leave it at that." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
19-06-2005, 23:12
Rube chuckled. "You're learning good kid, never trust anyone," he said. "Just trust yourself."
"There are some people to trust, but when both sides have attacked you, you tend to get suspicious." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
21-06-2005, 13:02
"Everyone is selfish, they'll use you for their own needs," Rube told him.
"Some arn't selfish but I agree, many are." Victor replied
Draconis Nightcrawlis
24-06-2005, 19:08
"At the end of the day kid, the only person you have to look out for is yourself," Rube told him.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
24-06-2005, 21:05
Rube looked toward the sky. "Sufficiently dark for us vampires," he said.
The darkness had spread across the still cloudy sky, although no rain seemed to threaten now.
"So you're coming out from where you're hiding?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
24-06-2005, 21:15
"I'm already out kid," Rube said.
He had been leaning against the window of the bookshop.
"So what are you going to be doing tonight?" Victor asked
Draconis Nightcrawlis
24-06-2005, 21:27
"Oh I haven't decided yet kid," Rube smirked and tipped his hat forward.
